The experts from TheSilphRoad have closely examined the eggs in Pokémon GO and reached an exciting conclusion: The contents of the eggs depend on rarity levels that are not synonymous with the egg type (2 KM, 5 KM, and 10 KM).
Simply put, this means: Not all 10 KM Pokémon are rarer than 2 KM Pokémon or 5 KM Pokémon. While this may initially sound confusing, it can be explained with a simple example: Currently, it is easier to obtain a 10 KM egg with a Dratini than a 2 KM egg with a Machollo.
