In the Faction War in For Honor, round 2 of the first season is over. The rewards can already be collected.
Today, on March 14th, the second round of the Faction War came to an end around noon. A round lasts two weeks, and a season consists of 5 rounds. At the end of a season, there are big rewards, but also after each round, participants can look forward to prizes.
The second round of the “Faction War” was won by the Samurai. They made a tremendous comeback. Just last night, the Knights were at the Samurai’s fortress. A few hours later, they managed to achieve victory with 24 territories.
The winning faction receives three collector’s chests as a reward, which you can open in the hero menu. It seems that the rewards are the same as after the first round of the war – the second-placed faction, the Vikings, will receive two chests, and the Knights one chest. In these reward chests, you will find several items to customize your heroes.
By the way: The first round was won by the Vikings.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is actually a tactical shooter where you eliminate the enemy unnoticed with the precision of a surgeon and the stealth of a wild cat. At least in theory. Read here how our author Jürgen fared with the “A-Team”.
Anyone who knows the action movie “Bad Boys 2” will surely remember this scene: The heroes let a carefully planned operation escalate into a wild shootout and messed everything up. Afterwards, they are summoned to their angry captain’s office, who then explains the meaning of the name of their department (TNT). “Tactical Narcotics Team! “T” stands for Tactical! Tactical!!! With finesse!”
https://youtu.be/0Mm8VphsZ80
Ghost Recon Wildlands – Four Against the Cartel
A similarly intense debriefing is likely awaiting the “Ghost Recon” team, at least for the crew played by me and my buddies. After I had already completed several missions in solo mode while usually approaching tactically thanks to drone reconnaissance and carefully coordinated synchronized shots, I wanted to play the game in coop mode.
After all, games with coop modes are always better when played with as many friends as possible. Borderlands 2 is the best example. So I was quick to respond when I received a game invite from my buddy one evening, who was already in virtual Bolivia with two other comrades.
GRW – “We Have a Tank!”
As the login screen was loading, I was already imagining what Ghost Recon might look like in coop. GRW isn’t a wild shooting game like Borderlands; here, tactical and calm approaches are necessary. At least I thought so…
As soon as I was online, however, I felt like the unfortunate captain from Bad Boys: “Hey, there you are, we have a tank at the main gate and I’m going in from the back on my motorcycle!”, echoed from Teamspeak. Before I had properly grasped why my comrade urgently wanted to storm the north gate with a motorcycle, all hell broke loose:
“Argh! I’ve been hit!”
“Shit, there are still some up in the house!”
“Can someone pick me up?”
“Hey, there’s a cartel medal lying here!”
“Next Time with Stealth, Seriously!”
In the end, we still emerged victorious, albeit only with sheer firepower and the odd respawn. The cartel base lay in ruins nonetheless, with dead sicarios littering the already reddish-brown Bolivian soil. But the next mission was already looming, and after we had run over a few more cartel members (and I think also a civilian) with our stolen tank on the road, we took off with a helicopter to the next mission objective.
At least at this point, everything could have gone “By the Book”. The enemies were marked, and my team was in position.
“This time we will proceed tactically! With stealth!”, was solemnly praised in Teamspeak.
“Yeah, sure, the next base is well fortified, we’ll do everything by the book”.
That my buddy was already humming the melody of the A-Team on the way there should have made me suspicious…
The rest of the team then wildly gunned down in the base, and shortly afterwards, the well-known Borderlands gameplay was back on track.”
“T” stood here more for “Total Damage” than for “Tactics”.
But as they say: The result is what matters, and this cartel base did not withstand our combined firepower for long either. A teammate remarked: “That was stealth; the enemy didn’t know what hit them!”
Ghost Recon Wildlands – Anything Goes
In this style, it continued for most of the evening, and we experienced all sorts of hair-raising scenes that only an open-world game can produce. For example, a mission where we mined all entrances to the enemy base with C4, only to accidentally blow up our escape heli right away. Or a group of overly eager rebels who wanted to help us with their colorful party bus but ended up running over half the Ghost team in their excitement about “La Revolución”.
Despite this rather chaotic way of playing, we still had a blast, and the fact that Ghost Recon allows such approaches speaks for the game. By the end of the evening, however, we finally managed a flawless infiltration and eliminated a cartel stronghold without alerting the enemy. See, it can be done!
The Division is currently under heavy criticism. The “Year 2” plans are to blame, but also the numerous problems and bugs.
There is currently a crisis atmosphere surrounding Ubisoft’s shared-world shooter The Division. Actually, it’s the anniversary week – for the “Year 1” celebration, there are events and gifts – and many agents were actually hoping for an exciting atmosphere from the “Year 2” reveal. But the opposite is the case.
Ubisoft announced that all content in Year 2 will be free. Normally a reason to celebrate. However, the scope of this content is limited: events that enhance old activities with modifiers, loadouts, and cosmetic items. That doesn’t sound like fresh content that will keep agents engaged for months.
Many are now thinking: Klar, the content is free. Nobody would pay for that.
This is also the opinion of some YouTubers who have made a name for themselves with videos on The Division.
According to Skill Up, the plans for Year 2 sound more like an end than a new beginning.
Marcostyle says that given this future and all the problems in the present, the interest in The Division has faded. Whether he still wants to make videos about The Division, he doesn’t know yet.
The future is bleak, the present is far from perfect
However, Massive recently emphasized that we only know part of the plans for Year 2. There are still more details they want to discuss in the future.
However, the current bad mood is not solely due to the weak “Year 2” announcement. Users are also pointing fingers at all the problems that have been in the game since the launch a year ago and which Massive still hasn’t been able to fix:
The serious balance problems are being criticized. Massive has been talking for months about more diversity in the builds they want to create, but since 1.6, health points are what the armor value was before 1.6. The imbalance is not being resolved; it is only being shifted.
Furthermore, the server issues, lags, or new glitches like the “Last Stand” glitch are cited to judge Year 1.
The fans hoped Year 2 would be better. Now they are even more disappointed.
How meaningful were the PTS?
Every update in The Division fixed numerous bugs, but new errors were also continuously introduced. This raises the question of whether this couldn’t have been done better.
In the lead-up to the last updates, there were weeks-long PTS phases: PC users could roam around on public test servers and try out the new content. These test phases are supposed to uncover all errors and glitches so that Massive can fix the problems before the official launch. The test phases are now also being criticized.
Because a test phase should really be for testing – and not just to play the new content early. For this, Massive would need to set specific goals, like “Test this mechanic or that new feature for a few days!” to receive precise data and feedback about it.
However, a “targeted testing” never really took place. The result: Yes, important adjustments and bug fixes were made, but at the launch of 1.6, numerous new issues still entered the game.
During the second year of The Division, some of the current issues are supposed to be addressed. Because in addition to the two expansions, the developers promised several bug fixes and balance adjustments.
However, it remains to be seen whether these will not come too late.
New weapons, tanks, maps, and the French army are available in the Battlefield 1 DLC They Shall not Pass. We show you the contents of the DLC.
The multiplayer mode of Battlefield 1 will receive many new contents this month. The They Shall not Pass DLC is already available today for players who own a Premium Pass. For all other players, the paid expansion will be released on March 28. It includes four new maps, two new operations, a new game mode, and many more weapons.
New Weapons in They Shall not Pass
The DLC expands the selection of weapons in the World War shooter, bringing more variety to the battlefields. However, the new weapons are not simply available for purchase in the shop. The models have various requirements that must be fulfilled to unlock the weapons. These requirements include a specified number of kills with a certain weapon or assists with a support class.
Initial tests show that the weapons are good for adding some variety to the game. However, they are not so overpowered that they could completely change the meta.
Behemoth, Elite Class, and New Tank
The new Behemoth that you can expect in They Shall not Pass is the Char 2C tank. This epic vehicle is based on a real French tank and was particularly strong in initial tests. It is possible that the developers will tweak the strength of this Behemoth before release.
The new Elite class is the Trench Fighter, equipped with a wide selection of grenades and a brutal fighter club. This allows you to deal damage from a distance, but you can also inflict much damage in close combat.
The St. Chamond is the new tank of the French troops. In tests, this new tank appeared strong and dominated many battles. Here too, there will likely be balance changes in the first weeks after release.
New Maps, Operations, and the Frontlines Game Mode
The France DLC offers you four new maps, each with its own charm.
The Verdun Heights is a very special map because during the battle, a fire ignites in the forest that completely changes the nature of the map. Snipers have a hard time during the fire, as visibility is hindered by the smoke.
Fort de Vaux is an underground system of tunnels that initially appears like a labyrinth. It may take a few matches until you have memorized the dark corridors well enough to navigate through them.
Soissons focuses again on fights above ground and allows room for both ground troops and tanks as well as aircraft.
Wreck is the fourth map of this expansion. There, you will encounter a large battlefield with rusty tank wrecks, remnants of past battles, partially covered with the red poppy that grows on the map.
The Frontlines game mode is one of the biggest innovations in the DLC. It is a mix of the already existing modes Conquest and Rush, where you first have to capture flags. Once a team has captured all the flags, it continues in Rush mode. The attackers must destroy two telegraph masts located in the defenders’ base. If these masts are destroyed, the battle ends. If the attackers fail to destroy the telegraph masts, it goes back to Conquest mode.
In addition to the new game mode, there are two new operations. Devil’s Anvil and Beyond the Marne are their names and will also be played on the new maps.
Conclusion – Promising DLC with cool features
The announced changes have already generated positive feedback from the community weeks ago. The Frontlines game mode is the highlight for many Battlefield veterans, who are ready to engage in long battles in this exciting mode. With new operations, the developers are not reinventing the wheel but remain true to popular features from Battlefield 1.
New weapons and vehicles need to be tested in the first weeks and may receive balancing changes. We are eager to see what awaits us in the coming days, starting March 28.
So, if you are expecting a completely new Battlefield 1 from the expansion, you should refrain from purchasing it. Because that is not the case. If you are satisfied with Battlefield 1 and look forward to some additional content, then this DLC is worth it.
Overall, the DLC leaves a solid impression and sounds like a good addition for Battlefield 1.
The stories in Overwatch are far from over. Blizzard is working on up to 3 cinematics at the same time.
Although Overwatch itself is not particularly good at telling the stories surrounding the characters in the game, the universe of Blizzard is full of life. The stories are told outside of the game in comics, elaborate cinematics, or short animated films.
The colleagues at IGN had the opportunity to talk to Jeff Chamberlain from the Overwatch team to learn more details about the future of storytelling.

The team is typically working on 3 cinematics at the same time, with 6-8 months often passing between the first storyboard and the actual finished version. This is also due to the fact that a lot of new graphics must be created for many cinematics. Although care has been taken to ensure that the films almost always take place on a known map, this also leads to problems. Not all maps are fully designed in all directions.
“The rooftops [in King’s Row] are not designed to be seen up close. We often have to think about how to place the camera and then increase the resolution for some things.”
Occasionally, the work overlaps as well. In the case of Winston’s cinematic “Recall,” the cinematic was created simultaneously with the map Gibraltar. The film team had to constantly coordinate with the map design team to ensure that the lab had the same objects.

Although the release of the game was almost a year ago, there is still no end in sight for the release of new cinematics.
“As long as we have stories we want to tell, we will find ways to tell them.”
So what does all this mean in summary? In the future, there will likely be many more cinematics for Overwatch. At least with the release of a new character, one can expect a 2D film that – like with Sombra and Orisa – explores the character’s mindset. The really “big” cinematics will likely be reserved by Blizzard for major events, such as GamesCom or BlizzCon.
In Destiny, today, on March 14th, the weekly reset occurs. A new Nightfall strike is coming.
Every Tuesday at 10 AM, a new week in Destiny begins with a fresh Nightfall strike. However, this may look different in two weeks. On one hand, on March 26th, the time change means that during daylight saving time, the weekly reset will happen at 11 AM. On the other hand, in two weeks, on March 28th, the content update “Age of Triumph” will be released.
It has been known since yesterday that “Age of Triumph” will introduce so-called Daybreak Strikes. Presumably, these are Nightfall strikes where you can trigger your abilities and Super attacks more frequently. A kind of “cauldron: Nightfall”. What this means for the future of the “Nightfall strike” will probably be revealed next Wednesday evening. Then, Bungie will discuss the weekly rituals in detail.
Now to today’s weekly reset: A new week has begun! Here is what to do.
Nightfall on March 14th on PS4 and Xbox One
This week, the Nightfall is Sepiks Perfected.
The modifiers are:
Epic
Small Arms: Primary weapon damage is increased
Juggler: No ammo drops for the equipped weapon
Grounded: You take more damage while in the air
Flayer: Player radar is disabled.
In the heroic SIVA Crisis strike playlist, the modifiers are Heroic, Solar Flare, Small Arms, and Armored.
The “Iron Lord” artifacts for the reset
You can choose one “Iron Lord” artifact from Tyra Karn each week per character by performing noble deeds in the Plagued Lands. This week’s offerings:
With Age of Triumph, the old raids will also receive challenges. Currently, the two bosses in Wrath of the Machine still alternate. This time, Aksis is up. How to defeat Aksis for extra loot, you can find out here.

Lord Shaxx wants to see your skills in Control matches. Commander Zavala has Strike Elite, Sunrise, and Cleanup (Reach 150 kills with the strike team for “Brutal Efficiency” medals) for you.
Currently, news is circulating that soon current PS4 titles like Nioh and Uncharted 4 can be played on PC. However, this information is not that great. There is a fake news alert.
Currently, German and international gaming magazines are titling “Will we soon be playing Uncharted 4 on PC?”
However, there are some catches and details in the news that are being overlooked to make it seem much more important than it actually is. What happened?
Sony has announced that in a beta test for their program PlayStation Now, they will also include PS4 games. Currently, only PS3 titles are playable.
Will remain a dream for PC gamers.
Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted, and Nioh soon on PC? I don’t think so, Tim
Some magazines amplify the news with headlines saying: We might soon be playing Uncharted 4, Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, and other exclusive titles on PC. This naturally attracts attention and clicks, but has a downside: It is false.
Because in this way, some details are being overlooked:
The service is not available in Germany.
No PS4 games for the program have been confirmed yet.
Why on earth would Sony release their “system sellers” like Uncharted 4, Nioh, or Horizon Zero Dawn like this and give away the exclusivity? That makes absolutely no sense. Of course, they would not do that. They would be completely insane. And anyone who thinks about it for 2 seconds will realize this.
The US site Gamespot clarifies: It can be assumed, that smaller and older games will come to the program. This means: NO current and major PS4 titles like Horizon Zero Dawn or Nioh will come to PC.
And that is how expectations for the program should be set.
Some sites therefore present this news in a much smaller and more factual manner with titles like “P$4 Games are coming to PlayStation Now” (Gamespot).
This naturally brings fewer clicks, but it’s honest.
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
Factions are becoming important again in World of Warcraft. Those who want can now farm reputation “endlessly” and receive new rewards.
With Patch 7.2 in World of Warcraft, the current factions of the Broken Isles will receive an upgrade. “Exalted” will no longer be the limit, as players can continue to earn reputation with a faction beyond that.
For many players, farming reputation is a necessity. At least with one character, players want to reach “exalted” reputation with all factions to gain rewards such as special recipes, pets, toys, or transmog gear.
Once the exalted reputation is achieved, however, the factions and their world quests quickly lose their appeal. Blizzard has noticed this, which is why in WoW Patch 7.2, the limitations on reputation farming have been removed.
Once a character is exalted, they can continue to earn reputation for a faction!
Even more reputation farming – for additional style rewards.
Every 20,000 reputation points, the character will receive a new reward in the form of a box. Depending on the faction where reputation is collected, this box can contain different rare items. Almost all factions have a special mount in the box, but with the Wardens, there is a toy that transforms you into a Warden!
Important: If you are still receiving “reputation tokens” from class hall missions, you should save them to gain a small advantage when Patch 7.2 launches.
Cortyn says: I hardly think the boxes will be a big motivation for most players to run all world quests non-stop now. However, collectors of mounts (like me) will think twice about whether to spend another half hour slaying monsters in the evening. Therefore, I think it is – in principle – a good idea to make more from the reputation factions, as long as they remain a nice bonus and not a mandatory grind.
In For Honor, Ubisoft was able to identify thousands of AFK farmers and penalize them.
Just over a week ago, Ubisoft declared war on AFK farmers: This term refers to users who repeatedly obtain endgame rewards and experience points without actively playing. They are “away from keyboard”, but their character still runs through the match and receives rewards at the end.
AFK farming is not only an unfair method of acquiring experience points, steel, and items, but it also affects the gaming experience of “honest” players. Therefore, Ubisoft emphasizes in a new post about AFK farming that the developers take this issue very seriously.
Bans and Warnings Issued
Last week, a first wave of warnings was sent to AFK farmers. Yesterday, on the 13th, the first wave of bans followed. At the same time, thousands of new warnings were issued.
Yesterday, 1500 players received a 3-day ban
About 4000 new AFK farmers were detected and warned
In all cases, the guilty players receive an official email containing further details. Furthermore, Ubisoft refers to the Code of Conduct, against which AFK farming using a cheat engine violates. This could lead to permanent bans.
Decisions about the scope of sanctions will be made on a case-by-case basis at their discretion. Penalties will only be issued once the violation can be definitively confirmed, according to Ubisoft.
Ubisoft’s melee game For Honor has struck a chord with players. The medieval setting and action-packed multiplayer battles are well received by many. It’s clear that others want to get in on this action – like the action game Mordhau.
Through Kickstarter, the developer studio Triternion aims to finance an online game that is not just a replica of For Honor. In Mordhau, up to 64 players can face each other in each battle. Furthermore, the battles are significantly larger in scale. There will be mounted combat and defenses, as well as sieges of fortresses where you use siege weapons.
Bigger and more free than For Honor
The developers also want to offer players more freedom when it comes to the combat system. While the fights are fast and action-oriented like in For Honor, you can determine how you want to strike based on 240 angles. This way, the battles are supposed to become more dynamic. However, the developers do not want them to look like wild chaos, but rather coordinated and exciting.
In addition, things are meant to get quite brutal. Blood and dismembered limbs are expected to be part of the battles.
At the beginning, you create your personal warrior, whose appearance you can customize individually. You improve this fighter during battles based on skills. Additionally, it is possible to craft your own weapons. On the huge, open battlefields, you will also find many items to interact with. For example, you can let the gates of your fortress crash down on attackers or roll boulders over them.
No Peer-to-Peer
Matches will be played on dedicated servers, deliberately avoiding a peer-to-peer connection, which currently causes issues in For Honor. Alternatively, you can practice in an offline mode with bots. There will be no early access phase; the developers simply want to release the game – currently planned for this summer, with August in mind.
The funding goal of $80,000 has been surpassed. The Kickstarter campaign is still running until April 7th. Backers can gain access to the alpha and beta before the release and secure additional goodies like a soundtrack and cosmetic items for customizing the hero.

At Pax East, an analysis firm presented facts and data on video games and their players. It is noticeable: The billion-dollar games could hardly be more different. “The typical gamer” no longer exists.
Currently, Pax East is taking place in Boston. The analysis firm Eedar (Electronic Entertainment Design and Research) gave an interesting presentation, which was compiled by the US site PvPLive.
The typical gamer hardly exists anymore
According to Eedar, the average gamer in the USA is 35 years old. There are just as many gamers over 50 (26%) as there are under 18 (27%).
The distribution of “male-female” is also not as one-sided as some think. In the USA, it is nearly even, although in recent years, men have gained a bit, reaching about 60%.
This chart of the “Billion Dollar Games”, the games that have generated over a billion dollars, shows how diverse gamers and their favorite games have become.
Both on stationary platforms, the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, as well as on mobile devices, significant revenue is generated.
For stationary platforms, it is mainly “Premium Games”, meaning paid games, that stand out, such as Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty Black Ops III, World of Warcraft, Skyrim, FIFA 17, and Destiny. But free-to-play games like League of Legends or Crossfire are also part of the illustrious billionaire club.
In mobile games, however, only free-to-play games are found. Here, a different payment concept is in play.
In 2016, mobile games like Clash of Clans or Pokémon GO dominated the Western market and led to significant growth. Clash of Clans and similar games break the scale and influence gaming just as much as the typical “big” titles reported on gaming sites.
Not only the games overall are diverging, but there are also more games found under “MMO.” We have written an article about this:
In Destiny we look at the videos of the week: Among them is a true “light spectacle”.
Monday evening is the time for us to regularly view the videos of the week. Bungie reliably delivers three works from the global community, which we complement with videos from our readers.
If you make it into the top 3 from Bungie, you will receive a virtual trophy in the form of a badge that you can wear in-game with pride. This badge is the sign of containment: The title “Video of the Week” was awarded to a video that is truly nice to watch. The creators state that the animations of the super attacks in Destiny are great. Therefore, they decided to activate these in complete darkness. This way they can shine, according to the MOTW winners:

Former story chief of Blizzard, Chris Metzen, is getting a statue in his honor. And it’s really impressive.
Most Blizzard fans had to endure a strong blow last year, whether they were supporters of Overwatch, StarCraft, or World of Warcraft. Chris Metzen, one of the most creative minds behind most of Blizzard’s universes, announced his retirement.
To honor Chris Metzen for all time, a statue has now been dedicated to him, which has been standing at Blizzard’s headquarters for a few days. This statue depicts Metzen in the “Overwatch” style alongside Baby Winston on a pedestal together with all 6 logos of the major Blizzard titles. The statue closely resembles that of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse.
Many reasons came together for Metzen’s decision to step back from Blizzard. Essentially, Chris Metzen wanted to spend more time with his family. Later, he admitted in an interview that he had been suffering from panic attacks for months and the pressure of work had become overwhelming for him.
In his farewell post, he said (in excerpts):
“I thank you all for allowing me to be a special part of your community. For allowing me to belong to you. We have gone on countless adventures together, and I have always been overwhelmed and honored by the passion you bring to our games. Thank you for all the hugs, the smiles, the handshakes, and the stories during BlizzCon. You will never understand how much all of you have touched my heart and inspired me to truly give my all in my work.”
Cortyn says: An incredibly cool statue that will always remind us of one of the founders of Blizzard. I still personally believe that Metzen will return to the gaming industry after a few years of retirement and recovery with his family. Creative minds are usually not very good at keeping their ideas to themselves or simply stopping their creations.

In it, “Daybreak Strikes” are teased, meaning “Daybreak” strikes. How these will differ from the Nightfall strikes will likely be revealed on Wednesday, March 15. Senior Designer Tim Williams and Senior Designer Joe Sifferman will report on this.
Some fans speculate that “Daybreak Strikes” could be a kind of Mayhem Nightfall. This means your cooldowns for the Super and abilities will be significantly shorter – just like in the Mayhem crucible game mode. This theory is supported by the fact that the Guardians in the teaser activate their Super attacks like crazy after the “Daybreak Strikes” text.
The weekly rituals with Age of Triumph
During the reveal of the Age of Triumph, this graphic about the weekly rituals was presented. Bungie is expected to discuss each of these symbols in the stream. From left to right:
Weekly Crucible playlist
Daily mission
Weekly heroic strike playlist
Nightfall strike (probably then Daybreak Strike)
This symbol is unfamiliar to many Guardians. It is a slight variation of the symbol for the Prison of Elders.
Far right is the Raid symbol. The Raids will also receive a new activity on a weekly basis.

The action MMO Tera is set to be released for the PS4 and Xbox One. The time is ripe for it, believes En Masse.
Before PAX East in Boston, it was announced that Tera will come to Xbox One and PS4 this year. The game has been on PC since 2011 – Why is the action MMO coming so late?
According to the developers at En Masse, now is finally the time for Tera. When the Free2Play MMORPG was released, the PS3 and Xbox 360 were already in the middle of their lifecycle. Both consoles were not really suited to run Tera, the studio said in an interview with the US site Massivelyop.
For PS4 and Xbox One, it is different. Both are powerful systems that handle online games well. Therefore, now is the ideal time to launch Tera on consoles.

Crossplay depends on whether Sony and Microsoft cooperate
Currently, there are still some open questions:
Will you be able to play on PS4 and Xbox One with the PC account?
Will all three platforms share the same world? Will there be crossplay?
En Masse does not know all of this yet. It is difficult to get the platform providers Sony and Microsoft to collaborate, as history shows.
It is also not yet known what state the PS4 and Xbox One versions will be in at release. The ultimate goal is for the console and PC versions to be at the same level. But depending on how the porting goes, Tera on consoles could initially be released with fewer features.
The PC version of Tera is also set to benefit from the port
One thing is clear: Tera is to be optimally adapted for consoles. The interface will be completely redesigned to make it easier to navigate with a gamepad. The new interface and gamepad support may also be available for PC.

In this guide, we show you how to find the M4A1 in Ghost Recon Wildlands. You need to infiltrate a small Unidad camp.
The M4A1 is an assault rifle that players are already familiar with from other games. It became well-known, among other things, through Counter Strike, where it can only be purchased on the Counter-Terrorist side. Ghost Recon Wildlands offers you 23 assault rifles to choose from. One of them is the M4A1.
The M4A1 has a high rate of fire and is favored by stealth players. The highest value of the weapon in its standard state is the noise reduction achieved through a suppressor. The damage is on the lower end with standard parts. In this guide, we show you where to find the M4A1.
Finding M4A1 in GRW – Protected by Unidad
You can find the quiet assault rifle in a smaller Unidad camp in a forest. However, if you use weapons with suppressors, it’s no problem getting to the weapon crate.
The M4A1 weapon crate is located in the Flor De Oro region, in the southeast of the world map. This region has a difficulty of 5 skulls, so you should be careful there.
We usually recommend taking a helicopter for the weapon guides. Since the target is located in a forest this time, we opted for a motorcycle, which allowed us to ride through the forest to the camp.
Our starting point is at the eastern edge of Libertad, beneath the lumberjack village Rocha.
Follow the main road out of Rocha southward.
To avoid Unidad patrols, you can divert onto an unpaved path next to the road.
Follow the path until you reach the marked starting point in the next image.
This starting point is located right next to a Unidad camp, which is guarded by many enemies. So, behave discreetly there.
With the motorcycle, car, or on foot, take the blue-marked path from the starting point towards “Hunting Lodge in Armadillo”
On the forest path, we didn’t encounter any enemies during the test, but civilians. There is no reason to shoot here.
In the forest behind the target point, you can get an overview of the enemies at the hunting lodge.
The drone will also assist you here, with which you can reveal the Unidad enemies dispersed around the lodge.
Choose a safe scouting point, as one of the enemies is also a sniper watching the forest.
After you’ve revealed the enemies, you have two options.
1. Try to sneak to the weapon crate, loot it, and run away quickly. – This is a fast method with a lot of risk.
2. Kill the Unidad one by one. – This is the slower method, but with more safety.
In the test, we chose the second method of killing all enemies and then looting the weapon.
We started with the sniper and then gradually killed the enemies patrolling around the lodge.
After you have killed all the enemies, you can go to the weapon crate without any problems.
With the M4A1 you have an assault rifle that is particularly suited for “silent” killings. Players who prefer stealth tactics thus have a good weapon for these purposes.
M4A1 Comparison with Mk 17
In a direct comparison with the Mk 17 , the M4A1 has significantly less damage and penetration. Also, in terms of precision and range, the M4 is worse than the Mk 17. However, this is not surprising, as these two values are the best in the Mk 17.
However, the M4 offers more maneuverability and a significantly higher rate of fire. Due to the existing suppressor, the noise reduction is also greatly increased.
The MMORPG Ashes of Creation looks damn good and the developers have many ideas that hopefully will be implemented. For example, the story can unfold differently on each server.
The world in Ashes of Creation offers some peculiarities and reacts to you and your actions. If you build a city at a certain point, it can have far-reaching consequences. Monsters and animals need to relocate, trade routes need to be opened, and neighboring cities might see this as an act of war.
The world develops differently on each server
All of this can also affect the player and their story as well as the entire background story of the world. Everyone experiences a personal story that guides them through the game and the world. However, depending on how the world changes and develops through the actions of other players, the player’s story will also adapt. This leads to the stories being played out differently on each server. As a result, the overall development of the world and the background story can differ drastically from server to server.
The worlds should develop, change, and grow in different ways on each server. No server will be the same as another. Even the landscape will change depending on where players build cities, where there are sieges, and where resources are harvested.
Although the developers want events and quests to take place, these will likely need to be adjusted for each server to account for its evolution. Was a city conquered or not? Where did the players construct the temple of this god? Accordingly, the quests on the servers cannot be completely identical.

Right from the start, you will experience the changes. The story revolves around your arrival in a new world that you are meant to settle and explore its history and secrets. And depending on how you and other players react to your environment, the world changes.
If you expand too aggressively, nature might strike back and send you dangerous and dark monsters. If your approach harmonizes with nature, you will, for example, receive safer trade routes.
You help determine how the world of the MMORPG Ashes of Creation evolves around you. How – and whether – this works, you might experience already this year, as an Alpha of the game is expected to start in 2017.

In The Division 1.6 you should look out for these weapon talents in PvE and PvP. The talents we present here are considered the best.
Update 1.6 shook things up significantly in The Division. Some values (for example, armor) were nerfed, while others are now more prominent (for example, health points and skill power). Weapons also underwent changes – especially SMGs and Exotics.
Before Update 1.6, agents often relied on Destructive and the Uncomplicated talent of the FAMAS, which could be transferred with AlphaBridge. Now the meta looks different. What weapon talents should you look for now?
In PvE, assault rifles are still on top. Look for talents that directly increase weapon damage or are skill-focused:
Responsive: At a distance of less than 10 meters to the target, damage is increased by 15%
Destructive: This weapon increases armor penetration by 15%. In PvE, this talent is still useful, in PvP it has little value. It is by no means as “important” as it was before 1.6.
Unforgiving: Damage is increased based on missing health: 1 missing segment +10%; 2 missing segments +25%
Competent: Weapon damage is increased by 10% for 15 seconds after using a skill
Ferocious: Damage against named and elite enemies is increased by 10%
Predatory: Eliminating a target regenerates 50% health for 20 seconds
Coolheaded: A headshot reduces the cooldown of all skills by 5%. However, since 1.6, this effect has a cooldown with automatic weapons to prevent skills from recharging suddenly.
Skilled: Headshot kills with this weapon increase resources for individual skills by 5%
Determined: Eliminating a target reduces the cooldown of skills by 7.5%
Meticulous: Eliminating a target has a 25% chance to refill the magazine. Particularly interesting for Hungry Hog.
Brutal: This weapon increases headshot damage by 12%.
The best weapon talents in PvP
Even in PvP, assault rifles reign supreme. You want talents that increase weapon damage. Here are the three top-tier talents for automatic weapons:
Responsive: At a distance of less than 10 meters to the target, damage is increased by 15%. In PvP, you usually fight at short range.
Unforgiving: Damage is increased based on missing health: 1 missing segment +10%; 2 missing segments +25%
Competent: Weapon damage is increased by 10% for 15 seconds after using a skill
Additionally:
Deadly: Critical hit damage is increased by 15%. Recommended especially for SMGs.
Predatory: Eliminating a target regenerates 50% health for 20 seconds. Especially interesting for solo agents.
Brutal: This weapon increases headshot damage by 12%. The better your aiming, the more you benefit from this.
Remember that other talents can also be excellent for your particular build.
