You want a Voidwalker Warlock in Destiny that can eliminate PvE enemies in hordes with its grenade? This is how you create a grenade Voidwalker Warlock in Destiny.
With “Age of Triumph,” there’s finally something to do again. Although it’s mostly old content with a fresh coat of paint – but there are again goals and new secrets to explore.
So you don’t have to face the upcoming content in your old Guardian gear, Nexxoss Gaming provides inspiration for a fresh Guardian setup. Its focus combination is called “The Grenade Voidwalker,” which is supposed to excel particularly in PvE.

This build relies on the exotic Warlock gloves “Handcuffs of Nothingness”. You get this Exotic from the usual sources, such as raids, Nightfall, Osiris, and Xur. The Handcuffs of Nothingness provide these perks:
Scatter Charge (exotic perk): Activates tracking for scatter grenades. Charges an extra scatter grenade. The “tracking” here means target-seeking – the charges of the grenade specifically hunt the enemies.
You also have the choice between:
Energy Projection (fixed perk): Increases grenade throw distance
Movement Transfer (random): Bonus melee energy on grenade hits, or
Impact Induction (random): Bonus grenade energy on melee hits
Furthermore, Discipline, Strength, or Intellect as well as the reload speed of weapon types can be increased. For this build, especially Discipline is recommended so that the grenade charges faster.
The important focus nodes
For your Grenade Voidwalker Warlock, you need to activate these focus nodes:
Scatter Grenade: A grenade that splits into scatter ammunition and covers an area with explosions.
Lance: The Nova Bomb moves further and faster and deals more damage.
Soulsplit: When a foe is damaged with Energy Drain, the cooldown of the Nova Bomb is reduced. Note: The Energy Drain is the melee of the Voidwalker, which reduces the cooldown of the grenade by draining energy from enemies.
Extermination: Enlarges the explosions of grenades and the Nova Bomb
Embrace the Void: Killing enemies with Nova Bomb or any grenade triggers Energy Drain and restores health. This focus node was also affected by the regeneration bug of 2.5.0.2 .
Embrace the Void is particularly important for this focus combination: You eliminate an enemy with the grenade and thanks to Energy Drain, the grenade charges faster and can thus be used more frequently. For this, you can also choose the perk “The Hunger”, which causes the Energy Drain to last longer.
In the video, you can see how quickly the grenade is charged starting from 5:32.
When it comes to armor pieces, make sure your Discipline value reaches the maximum. Also:
For the helmet, you can look for perks like “From the Ashes,” which grants you bonus super energy on grenade kills.
For the chest piece, the perk Void Armor is recommended, which enhances your armor with a Void focus.
For the leg armor, the Void Double Kill is interesting, which grants you increased agility for 5 seconds.
If you want to focus fully on grenades and forgo the super, you can take Felwinter’s Lie as an artifact. This can also provide the perk Void Resonance, giving you a chance to generate a Sphere of Light from Void grenade kills of Shanks.
Ultimately, when choosing weapons, you can opt for the Tlaloc: This exotic scout rifle has the perk that kills with the weapon reduce the cooldown of the grenade.
Thus, you obtain an interesting Warlock focus combination that is fully specialized on grenades. What do you think?
Activision Blizzard, the publisher behind games like WoW, Call of Duty and Destiny, is the only video game company that ranks among the 100 best workplaces in the USA. Riot Games, the creators of LoL, are missing from this year’s Fortune magazine list.
Fortune magazine has published its annual list of “The 100 Best Companies to Work For,” and the only video game company is ranked 66th. It is Activision Blizzard, the publisher behind hits like World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Candy Crush and Destiny.
A publisher does not develop the games itself, but collaborates with development studios, commissions games, and takes care of marketing and distribution. Activision Blizzard also owns its own development studios.
Last year, Activision ranked 77th. Thus, it has risen by 11 places compared to the previous year in March 2017.
MMO shooter Destiny is among the games distributed by Activision Blizzard.
New worlds are built at Activision with talent
The head of Activision, Bobby Kotick, says: They hire the most capable and talented employees to build new worlds. 95% of employees stated in the survey that they are proud to work for Activision Blizzard.
According to Fortune, Activision Blizzard employs over 9,400 people.
The publishing giant has a lot planned for 2017. For instance, Destiny 2 is expected to be released this fall. A new Call of Duty has also been announced – WoW and the other Blizzard games continue to run steadily.
Is working on LoL no longer fun?
A question raised by the list is: What has happened to Riot Games? The creators of League of Legends ranked 39th last year, well ahead of Activision Blizzard. This year, they have completely dropped out of the list.
There is no statement from Fortune regarding this. The fluctuation in the list cannot be too high. According to Fortune, only six new companies entered the list of the 100 best workplaces.
This means that Riot is among the only six companies that have fallen out of the top 100. From 39, this is a significant drop.
Overall, the list is led by the giant Google. Followed by Wegmans Food Markets, The Boston Consulting Group, Baird, and Edward Jones.
Fortune evaluates a survey for the list that is filled out by 230,000 people in America. The survey concerns how employees assess their work life, how they evaluate their team leaders, the relationships among colleagues, and the support they receive from the company in both professional and personal life.
A major feature of The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO): Morrowind are the PvP battlegrounds. How these work and what rewards you get have now been revealed.
In PvP content, The Elder Scrolls Online currently only offers a fun gigantic campaign in the central province of Cyrodiil, where three major alliances with hundreds of players beat each other up and capture castles every day. That is certainly fun, but those who just want to play a quick round of PvP are left empty-handed. But help is on the way, as on June 6, the standalone addon Morrowind for ESO arrives and brings the long-awaited PvP arenas of the battlegrounds.

ESO PvP Battlegrounds – Grave Demons or Fire Dragons?
There is new information about the gameplay and mechanics of the battlegrounds. The names of the three teams are now known. You will face two other teams of four players each in the battlegrounds, but you and your teammates do not have to belong to the same alliance.
Instead of fighting for the Ebonheart Pact or the Dominion, you fight for the glory of one of the following teams:
Grave Demons (Green)
Fire Dragons (Orange)
Storm Lords (Purple)
The allocation to a team is done randomly through a PvP browser, in which you register starting from level 10 (provided you have purchased Morrowind, otherwise it won’t work). You just choose whether you come alone or as a group and whether you want to play below or starting from the maximum level. Your heroes will be appropriately scaled up as they are everywhere in ESO. A well-equipped level 50 will have advantages over a level 10 newcomer.
PvP Battlegrounds – Deathmatch or Flag Hunt?
The battles in the battlegrounds are designed to last about 15 minutes – nothing compared to the hours-long battles in Cyrodiil! The game randomly determines which of the current three game modes you play in each match:
Deathmatch: This is the classic team deathmatch. You simply take out opponents and earn points for it.
Flag Hunt: The well-known capture the flag. You capture a flag and bring it to your base, but you also have to watch out that the opponent doesn’t steal your flag.
Domination: This game mode is also well known. You must capture and hold neutral points on the map to earn victory points.
Quarry or Daedric Ruins?
The battles in the battlegrounds take place on one of three randomly selected maps. Later DLCs and addons are expected to provide even more battlegrounds. The three battlegrounds in Morrowind are:
Foyada Quarry: This quarry is located on the edge of the “Red Mountain” and offers large, open spaces. Ideal for ranged fighters.
Ularra: A gloomy Daedric ruin in the north of the island. The fights concentrate there due to the cramped environment.
Ald Carac: Here you fight in the steampunk ruins of the fallen Dwemer civilization. The map is said to be more vertical in nature.
Medals and Awards for Great Loot
When one side wins on the battlegrounds, it’s time for rewards and loot. The good news up front: Everyone gets something. But those who play well will receive more, as will the winners of a round. Only leavers who leave early will go away empty-handed. ZeniMax even plans additional penalties, such as temporary PvP bans.
The amount of the reward depends on the medals earned in battle. These are available for:
Dealing damage
Healing
Getting kills
Getting kill streaks
Capturing or defending banners
Taking damage
Healing banner carriers or defenders
Of course, the distribution of medals and their weighting varies by game mode. In the flag hunt, there are fewer points for kill medals than in the deathmatch. There are no flags to capture there, hence only points for kills and healing. The rewards consist of items (purple items as main prizes), experience points, and alliance points for your faction. The developers may also want to include resource bags as additional loot.
Also cool: There will later be weekly leaderboards that reset every seven days. Depending on how well you can place there, you will receive additional loot!
The developers want to present players of the Diablo-like MMO Guardians of Ember with a major update every month that includes content or features. Guardians of Ember will soon be fully available in German.
About three months ago, the Early Access of Guardians of Ember started. Now the developers are presenting players with a roadmap in which they introduce future content and features that will be integrated into the game in the coming months. The new Dark Knight class will kick things off, set to be released in March. By summer, there will even be a complete German version of GoE.
GoE Roadmap – New Class, Game Mode, Act 5 and 6
Every month, a major update for Guardians of Ember is supposed to be released, which either includes new game content or features. Some of these planned contents are already available in the Taiwanese version of the game. Other content is new and will be integrated into GoE for the first time.
March – Dark Knight: This month, the sixth class in the game is to be activated. Since this character has not yet been tested by a large number of players, the developers place great emphasis on your feedback for balance changes.
April – Horde Mode: This game mode is designed for 5-player groups and demands defensive gameplay. You must defeat enemies that appear in individual waves.
May – Act 5: In the abandoned landscape of Labato Fjord, your next task awaits. There you must stop Arques before he joins Urdigard. Act 5 is the final segment in Early Access.
Summer – German Version: The developers plan to release a complete German version of GoE this summer.
Once the plans mentioned above are fulfilled, the developers will consider the game “complete” and will end the Early Access mode.
There will continue to be updates and expansions, which will be free for any player who has purchased GoE.
The plan for 2017 also includes:
Autumn – Act 6
Autumn – Guild Skill System
Winter – More PvP modes and maps
Bloodierversionof the game (Currently without a schedule)
Hardcore Mode (Currently without a schedule)
Controller Support (Currently without a schedule)
These plans are not yet finalized and can be changed at any time. The timelines are intentionally vague because the team is initially focusing on bug fixes, which are the highest priority.
The online role-playing game Riders of Icarus is getting a major update in March. It will include new enemies, new mounts, and even more dungeons.
Riders of Icarus continues to receive regular updates. Following the recent additions of deserts, rangers and giant world bosses, a new threat looms with the “Corruption of Light” update on March 22, 2017: chaos elves!
Riders of Icarus: Riding the Wolf Against the Spooky Ears!
The dark spooky ears are attacking their peace-loving relatives in the Ellora Refuge and causing quite a stir. Fortunately, the game offers you an increase in the maximum level to 55 and loads of new mounts.
Particularly cool: A flying divine wolf named Torkai, who is looking forward to battling the evil chaos elves! In addition to the wolf, there are about 30 other tameable creatures for your zoo.

Also included in the update: A completely new dungeon and three instances on legendary difficulty. “Cavern of the Veil”, “Frost Keep” and “the Breach” are now available in extra-hard mode and lure with even better loot.
New dungeon with evil gods
The new dungeon is called the “Forgotten Shrine”, where the evil god of ruin is imprisoned in a demon stone. The chief chaos elf Yorminsul wants to free him, and you must stop him.

In Pokémon GO, there is now a huge selection of different monsters. We will show you what you should know about the new Pokémon.
For a few weeks now, you can catch the new monsters of the 2nd generation in Pokémon GO. This means that over 80 new Pokémon have been added to the original selection, which can now be caught from eggs and in the wild. In this overview, we want to introduce you to the most important information about the 2nd generation Pokémon. This includes regional Pokémon that cannot be caught in Germany and special monsters that can only evolve in specific ways.
1. Time-dependent Evolutions
Not every Pokémon has just one evolution that it reaches by adding candies. Even in the first generation, we could observe this phenomenon with Eevee, which has three different possibilities for evolution. Whether Eevee evolves into Flareon, Vaporeon, or Jolteon can be determined by nicknames you give.
This evolution behavior is also present in the 2nd generation with Eevee. Now, Eevee can also evolve into the new Pokémon Espeon and Umbreon. You can determine the evolution with a nickname to obtain your desired monster once. The names Sakura and Tamao determine Eevee’s evolution. After that, however, you will need to use another trick to control the evolution.
2. Is this Pokémon the Ditto of the 2nd generation?
Ditto is the transforming Pokémon from the first generation. However, it was only activated long after the release of the game and can only be caught in the wild indirectly. The special thing about Ditto is that it can take the form of other Pokémon. Therefore, it’s possible that a caught Pidgey reveals itself as Ditto when added to your collection.
There is also such a mimic in the second generation of Pokémon. Color Change copies the attacks of its opponents with the ability “Mimic”. It then permanently copies the last attack that its opponent performed. The community currently suspects that Color Change will be activated in Pokémon GO in a similar way to Ditto. Professor Willow might make a discovery with clues about Color Change.
3. Togetic – a particularly hard-to-catch specimen
Not all Pokémon are commonly found in the wild and are easy to catch. Togetic is the evolution of the little Togepi and is considered a Pokémon that is extremely hard to catch. In the weeks following the release, trainers complained about having trouble catching this monster. Encounters in the wild were frustrating because the Pokémon simply wouldn’t stay in the ball.
4. Regional Pokémon – In Germany, you won’t find all the monsters
The ultimate goal in Pokémon GO is to catch all the Pokémon that are in the game. However, this is not easy when it comes to certain monsters. It becomes problematic with regional monsters that you cannot catch in Germany.
5. Unown – The letter Pokémon has a challenging medal
A special medal is awarded for a special Pokémon. You may know Unown from other parts of the Pokémon series. This species appears in different forms as letters from A to Z or as question and exclamation marks. Since the release of the over 80 new monsters, Unown can also be caught in the game. However, it is very rare and has difficult requirements for the medal.
For the Unown medal, you need to plan a lot of time, as it requires you to catch the Pokémon in 26 different forms. It does not count multiple times if you catch Unown in the T-form in the game twice.
6. Can you influence the evolution of Rabauz – Is that even possible?
A little fighter is the Pokémon Rabauz, which you can find in eggs in Pokémon GO. Like Eevee, Rabauz has multiple evolutions. But can you influence these with nicknames or other tricks?
So far, many tests have been conducted to assess their influence on the evolution of the little furball. However, there is currently no trick to guide its evolution to Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, or Hitmontop.
Legendary Pokémon hold a high status among trainers all over the world. The legendary Pokémon of the first generation include the birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. As of now, these monsters cannot be caught in the game, even though one trainer tried to prove otherwise.
The legendary Pokémon of the 2nd generation include the three dogs Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. Also new are the flying Pokémon Lugia and Ho-Oh, and the plant Pokémon Celebi.
Source: Pokewiki
Raikou: A legendary Electric Pokémon
Entei: A legendary Fire Pokémon
Suicune: A legendary Water Pokémon
Lugia and Ho-Oh: These legendary bird Pokémon have the types Psychic/Flying and Fire/Flying
Celebi: The Psychic/Grass Pokémon is similar in size to Mew and is referred to as the New Mew.
Some monsters from the 2nd generation require more than just candies to evolve. You need special items like sundial, king stone, metal coat, dragon scale, or up-grade. Only when you add these items will the monsters evolve. For example, a Seemon turns into a Seedraking when you have 100 Seemal candies and a Dragon Scale. A Porygon evolves into Porygon2 when you add 50 Porygon candies and an Up-Grade. You can see which Pokémon need these evolution items here.
However, these special items are extremely rare and should be used sparingly. A survey shows that the chance of getting such an evolution item is less than 1%. How rare are special items in Pokémon GO?
9. The appearance of the new Pokémon
When you are out and about visiting PokéStops, checking out gyms, or just wanting to hatch eggs, you will encounter the new Pokémon in the “wild.” If you haven’t seen them in the game yet, these monsters will be displayed as black shadows in the Pokémon tracker. Determining which Pokémon corresponds to these shadows can be challenging for trainers who are not familiar with the 2nd generation.
To better distinguish these monster shadows, this graphic is available. It lists the 2nd generation and is labeled with the corresponding names.
10. Egg rarity – Which Pokémon hatch more frequently than others?
An important aspect of Pokémon GO is hatching eggs. You get them from PokéStops in 2 KM, 5 KM, and 10 KM variations. The kilometer count is the requirement for how much distance a trainer needs to cover before the egg hatches.
Many of you may have already noticed that some monsters hatch from eggs more often than others. This observation has now been confirmed by the experts at TheSilphRoad. The contents of the eggs depend on rarity levels that are not synonymous with the egg type. In clear terms: Currently, it’s easier to get a 10 KM egg with a Dratini than a 2 KM egg with a Machop.
In The Division, the Urban MDR has been considered the best weapon in the game since Update 1.6. What makes the weapon stand out and where can you find it?
The Urban MDR is an exotic assault rifle with an exciting history: It first appeared during E3 2016, initially known as “B.L.I.N.D. System Battle Rifle”. It raised the agents’ expectations that unique weapons tailored to gear sets would soon be introduced to the game.
However, nothing came of it. Update 1.3 did not bring a B.L.I.N.D. weapon. Then it went silent for a long time. When Update 1.4 deleted the B.L.I.N.D. set and replaced it with Banshee, many lost hope that this assault rifle would ever come. But with Update 1.5, the weapon suddenly appeared in the game – albeit with a new name: Urban MDR.
Urban MDR – First Unimpressive, Then Impressive
Initially, the weapon was barely usable. While it had interesting properties, it could not compete with the best weapons.
Two features distinguish (and continue to distinguish) the Urban MDR:
It is an assault rifle that fires semi-automatically. This means that you cannot hold the trigger down to fire multiple shots in succession; instead, you must press the button repeatedly. Similar to a precision rifle.
It comes with the unique talent “Distracted”: Damage is increased by 10% (now 18%) against enemies suffering from status effects.
It already enabled an interesting playstyle in 1.5. Agents combined it with FireCrest or AlphaBridge. However, the base stats were simply too poor. It could not establish itself, as a look at a graphic by WOBO shows:
With Update 1.6, the Urban MDR was heavily buffed. It took a substantial increase from the damage pool, raising the base damage by 65%. Additionally, the talent now increases damage by 18%. Consequently, the stats of the Urban MDR far surpass those of other assault rifles:
This makes the Urban MDR the best weapon in PvE as well as PvP in The Division 1.6 – at least in terms of stats.
Finding Urban MDR – Locations
You can get the Urban MDR through several sources, but you must always rely on luck. It can be obtained from Survival containers, Operational Performance containers, or Weekly Assignment containers. However, it can also drop from other sources where you can get exotic weapons.
But: The Urban MDR is not everyone’s assault rifle. If you prefer to play with automatic weapons, it is not for you. Instead, opt for an LVOA-C, which is also strong in 1.6. Nevertheless, some agents report that it is definitely fun to play with this weapon. “This thing is a beast”, says a Reddit user. Quick, precise kills at long range are hardly possible: The crosshair opens too wide when shooting.
Are you playing with the Urban MDR? What do you think of it?
A new trailer for the game Friday the 13th is filled with blood and violence. Definitely not for the faint-hearted!
After the zombie hype has slowly subsided, the genre of asymmetrical horror games is beginning to make its mark. A highly anticipated representative is Friday the 13th: The Game, which traps 6 campers against a killer on a map. As the name suggests, the killer must murder as many campers as possible within a time limit, with numerous gruesome options available to him. There will be dismemberment, thrown out of windows, stabbing, drowning, and strangling – Jason has a wide range of options.
The game Friday the 13th: The Game is based on the horror film series of the same name, which is a classic of the genre (and had one of the best jump scares of all time).
A new trailer for the game was released at PAX East 2017.
Warning: The trailer is truly not for the faint-hearted and shows very little gameplay. It focuses heavily on the new execution animations, which graphically demonstrate how Jason deals with his victims once he has them in his merciless hands.
Anyone who cannot tolerate rolling heads, severed limbs, and plenty of other brutalities should steer clear of the trailer. You have been warned.

A release date for the game is still pending, only “Spring 2017” has been mentioned – so by June at the latest.
Cortyn says: Unfortunately, the gameplay of Friday the 13th does not convince me as much as that of Dead by Daylight, but the game has not been released yet. If the developers play around with the possibilities a bit, it could become a damn fun game where you can finally kill your roommates when they put the empty milk carton back in the fridge. Erm, you know what I mean. The spark hasn’t ignited for me yet, because pure brutality isn’t enough of a reason for me to buy it.
After a lengthy dispute between the original developer studio Above & Beyond and Idea Fabrik, which provided the engine for the game, the servers of the MMORPG The Repopulation are back online today.
Repopulation has a complicated development history.
Developer Above & Beyond developed the MMORPG Repopulation, but they have since turned to Fragmented, a new game that is supposed to be more of an MMO shooter. After a dispute with Idea Fabrik, they sold the rights and assets of the MMORPG The Repopulation to the very company they were in dispute with.
At the end of 2015, the servers of The Repopulation closed because Idea Fabrik no longer provided engine updates, and Above & Beyond could no longer work on the MMO. The deadlock led to Above & Beyond launching the new game Fragmented using Unreal Engine 4, while they hoped to return to The Repopulation someday.
The Repopulation is coming, but the developer has changed
However, at the beginning of this year, it became known that both parties could come to an agreement and The Repopulation now belongs to Idea Fabrik, which will take care of the completion of the MMORPG. Initially, the servers were to be brought back online, which will happen shortly. As the developers announced, the alpha servers will go online again on March 12. Backers can play again from then on.
The Repopulation is also expected to be available on Steam later this month – likely between March 19 and 26.
Those who played before will be able to log in with their known login to their former accounts. According to Idea Fabrik, nothing has changed. Those who have problems can contact the developers through a ticket system. From this point on, the developers will take care of expanding the game, adding new content, and hopefully reaching a beta phase within this year.
Ultima Online meets Star Wars Galaxies
The Repopulation is inspired by sandbox MMORPGs like Star Wars Galaxies and Ultima Online. You live on a foreign, hostile world where humanity wants to settle.
You can explore this world, where dangers lurk around every corner, or help establish and expand cities, craft items that other players need, gather resources, and protect the borders of civilization from raids by bandits and aliens. The game world is divided into safe and unsafe areas. In the unsafe zones, open PvP is present, and you must proceed with caution.
The Repopulation is interesting for anyone looking for an MMORPG in the style of Star Wars Galaxies. Whether it can truly compete with the classics remains to be seen when the alpha starts up again soon.
However, this book also contains “achievements” that Bungie did not show in detail, raising questions. Particularly puzzling is an entry regarding the Traveler: It is called Concordat’s Shadow – the shadow of the Concordat. Given that this book is supposed to document your achievements in Destiny 1, there is surprisingly little to do with this milestone. Because Guardians had nothing to do with it so far.
The symbol of the Concordat
What is the Concordat?
Many Guardians will already struggle with the term “Concordat,” and it rarely appears in the game itself. The Concordat was a faction – a union of Guardians, like we know today from the New Monarchy, the Dead Orbit, and the Future War Cult.
The leader of the Concordat was Lysander. The specific ideology of Lysander and his faction is unknown, but we do know that the Concordat once rose against the Last City and the Speaker, aiming to topple the existing order. The last uprising of the Concordat took place during Bannerfall. However, the New Monarchy was able to quell the uprising. After that, Lysander was exiled and the Concordat was dissolved.
But why is Concordat’s Shadow a milestone in the seal book? Where do we encounter it in the game?
The mysterious Lysander Sparrow
Just a few months ago, an item was added to the game that directly refers to Lysander and the Concordat: The Sparrow Lysander’s Call. With the “The Dawning” event in mid-December 2016, a mysterious gift appeared in the Tower that could not be opened. The hint was “For those who defied Bannerfall.”
You had to go to the Bannerfall map, resurrect a Ghost there, and then you could open the gift: Lysander’s Call was inside – a green Sparrow. The symbol of the Concordat is also visible on it. Even back then, Guardians scratched their heads and wondered what this gift from Lysander was about. Thematically, it had nothing to do with the Winter event – except that the gift is a Sparrow. Is Lysander back in the Last City and trying to win your favor? How did this gift make it there?
It was also interesting that the Grimoire card for Lysander’s Call is in golden colors. These are usually reserved for significant and exotic items. Guardians speculated that there might be more behind this Sparrow.
Additionally, the quote from Lysander states: Every Guardian wants something: higher speed, a rare weapon, a secret.Learn what it is. Use it.
As the YouTuber My name is Byf now suspects, this quote could have a forward-looking significance. The speed likely refers to the Sparrow we already received. And perhaps the reference to the “rare weapon” signifies that we will soon receive a weapon from Lysander.
Will new Exotics come with the “Age of Triumph”?
The upcoming seal book states that 55 exotic weapons should be collected. According to Byf, however, there are currently only – if we consider the “Year 1”-“Year 2” duplicates – 53 exotic weapons. This means that “Age of Triumph” would need to introduce at least two new exotic weapons.
DeeJ already revealed that Age of Triumph will have secrets that Guardians will discover only in the game. Perhaps this rocket launcher belongs to that.
However, some Guardians are skeptical about this theory. The missing Exotics could simply be new entries for the Necrochasm, the Vex Mythoclast, or even for the Infinity. It is doubted that this mysterious rocket launcher will ever make it to the game. For now, speculation is all we can do.

In addition to speed and weapons, Lysander also spoke of a secret. According to Byf, this could indicate how the future of Destiny will unfold. The speed refers to the Sparrow in “The Dawning”, the weapon to a new Exotic in “Age of Triumph”, and the secret to future events in Destiny 2. Is that possible?
If Lysander placed the Sparrow gift himself in the Tower, it would mean that he has returned. Perhaps he plans once again to attack the Last City and the Tower and to overthrow the Speaker. And perhaps this time he will not be alone, but bring a whole army of Cabal with him. Because according to rumors, a Cabal attack on the Last City is imminent in Destiny 2.
Did Bungie really give us these hints since “The Dawning” with this one Grimoire card regarding the Lysander Sparrow? Or are they mere speculations that have nothing to do with the future of Destiny?
The seal book indeed mentions the Concordat. However, it is a milestone that stands alongside other collections, such as collecting dead ghosts, on one page. Maybe this milestone only means that you caught the Lysander Sparrow during the Dawning…
At this point, nothing has been officially confirmed. But these hints provide plenty of room for delightful speculation. In a Gameinformer interview in August 2016, it was stated that we will learn more about the factions in the future. Perhaps the Concordat will be at the center of it…
What do you think? Do these theories make sense to you? Or do you find them too speculative?
Shards Online wanted to offer something new. Give players the opportunity to play on many small servers and worlds. But now the concept has changed and Shards Online has become the full-fledged MMORPG Legends of Aria.
Everything is new at Shards Online. Even during the alpha phase, Citadel Studios is revamping their MMORPG Shards Online and transforming it into Legends of Aria. The concept that players play on relatively small islands floating in space and each has its own rules – whether PvP, story, PvE… – has been pretty much discarded.
Instead, the development studio now wants to release a full-fledged MMORPG in the style of Ultima Online.
Is this Ultima Online 2?
In essence, Legends of Aria could already be considered an unofficial Ultima Online. You operate in a large, hand-crafted and open game world and can fight each other almost anywhere. The open PvP even offers full loot. This means if you are defeated in battle by other players, they can take all your equipment.
However, the developers also want to offer many safe zones where players can experience PvE adventures and craft in peace. Because crafting is important, as you can supply your fellow players with everything they need.
Since Legends of Aria is a sandbox MMO, it is up to you how you spend your virtual life in the fantasy world of Celador. Do you want to be an adventurer exploring enchanted forests, ancient ruins, and dark dungeons, or do you perhaps want to open your own tavern and serve adventurers? The choice is yours. Through a housing system, you can also build and customize your own house.
You can also create your own worlds
However, you will still be able to create your own worlds where your rules apply. These worlds can even be connected to allow players to switch from one world to another.
The “base world”, however, is now a large continent focused on open PvP and a deep lore. For fans of Ultima Online, Legends of Aria could be a dream come true. The alpha of Shards Online remains accessible. A release of the game is planned for this year via Steam.

The orange items from World of Warcraft are being revised once again. Basically, there are a few nice buffs.
The discussion around the legendary items in World of Warcraft seems to have no end. Especially the disparity in power between what players consider “the best” Legendary for their class and the more “normal” Legendaries is still a thorn in the side of the community.
An official game designer has now spoken up in the forum and revealed some plans for the future of Legendaries. Accordingly, there will be some changes in an upcoming version of Patch 7.2 on the PTR to further balance the power of the items.
Legendary items that have a bonus that does not directly increase damage or healing will receive such an effect. As an example, he mentioned “Promises of Elune, the moon goddess,” the legendary druid shoes that enhance a healing effect. As an additional bonus, they will soon increase the damage of some abilities.
Other Legendaries, such as “Belo’vir’s last stand”, a robe for mages, will receive additional secondary stats, as that makes more sense. They don’t want “Blink” to suddenly become a damage cooldown, so they simply give the item around 650 additional points in a secondary stat.
Besides that, they also aim to continue bringing the power of Legendaries more “in line” in the future, so there are no large differences in effectiveness. Every player should feel in their first two Legendaries that they have made an important progress in character development.
The efforts towards this will continue even after Patch 7.2.
What do you think about the ongoing changes to legendary items in World of Warcraft? Should Blizzard continue fine-tuning until ultimately all Legendaries are somehow “equal” or should they leave it alone?
Leya has tried out Paladins’ latest tank “Inara” and doesn’t really like being on the front line. With Inara, that could change now.
Inara is the newest champion in Paladins and the first woman on the front line. She is a stone bender and stands protectively in front of her team like a tall statue. Inara is a huge woman and looks down on other characters. She is even a bit taller than Fernando. Maeve appears like a small child next to her.
Her face resembles that of a lioness, and Inara fights like a lioness to protect what she loves: “I will fight to protect the Holy Mother Earth!”
Inara’s Wall, Blessing or Curse?
It took me a few matches to realize what an incredible package of area control Inara possesses. With her ability “Dead End”, Inara summons a wall from the ground that blocks opponents. Neither friend nor foe can pass through the wall. No ability can penetrate it. This gives you a powerful weapon to protect your team or to completely block their way.
With Inara, you have to be very careful about what your team is doing. Unfortunately, it has happened to me that I totally separated my allies from the team with Inara’s wall. Isolated, they stood among the opponents, left to certain death.
I fear that this is part of the Inara learning process. Maybe I’m just trying to rationalize my guilty conscience.
Area and Crowd Control Works Only with Allies Nearby
Inara has even more features that keep the opposing team in check. A pulsating stone obelisk that slows down opponents and her ultimate ability, which causes a powerful stun. However, she has no escape options and deals only minimal damage. When things get dicey, Inara can be easily taken out by a flanker or damage champion.
You must create a symbiosis with the team. While you ensure that the opponents are severely limited in mobility, your team should take advantage of this and eliminate the opponents before they do the same to you. Inara’s ultimate is a powerful stun that immobilizes an entire team. However, if you have no one nearby to attack the opposing team in time, the ultimate won’t be very useful.
Tanks Aren’t Really My Thing, but Inara Might Grow on Me
I am really a terrible tank and usually do not feel comfortable in this role. I much prefer agile champions like Evie. After a while, I started to like Inara more and more. I set out to build a deck for her. I gave her more health and reduced the cooldown of her strong wall. This way, I would not be taken out as quickly when cornered.
Then it actually started to go really well, and I tried her out in a few ranked matches. – With success! A few times, I even got the “Play of the Game”, which normally never happens to me with tanks.

In the various Paladins forums, I read that many consider Inara to be too weak, especially her ultimate ability. However, I’m not so sure about that. Inara can have complete control over a match, slow down opponents, exclude, stun, and annoy them. However, she is heavily reliant on the help of her team, and the team depends on Inara not blocking them with her wall. However, with the right coordination, she opens up every opportunity for game-changing combinations.
I will continue to practice her and play with her deck build. She could become my number 1 alongside Torvald when I need to fill the team with a tank. Maybe I will even willingly become a tank, as I really like her strong AoE effects and want to see what I can get out of Inara.
The Free2Play MMO Dauntless is considered the Western answer to “Monster Hunter.” A new trailer for Pax East shows new footage and the combat system.
PC players have been enviously looking at console gamers for years, who get to enjoy Capcom’s “Monster Hunter” series. It is especially popular in Asia and is found on Nintendo and Sony consoles: Monster Hunter games are available for the PlayStation 2, Wii, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS, and Wii U.
While there are online games for PC such as Monster Hunter Online, they never made it to Europe and can only be played in Asia.
If we don’t get Monster Hunter Online in the West, we’ll just play Dauntless
Monster Hunter is incredibly popular, but PC players and Westerners are left out. They watch the monster hunting from the sidelines. Dauntless is supposed to change that. It is thought to be a kind of mix between Monster Hunter and Dark Souls.
Dauntless is a Free2Play action RPG focused on co-op and boss fights. Essentially, it leaves out everything that usually belongs to an MMORPG, focusing on the boss battles against monsters called Behemoths, and the preparation for these fights. Currently, the first demo versions only showcase the fights: 4 players fight against a monster. Later, other elements are supposed to come to Dauntless.
This weekend, the PAX East fair is taking place in Boston. Here, a new trailer for two Behemoths and the fight against them was released.

These 10 tips can assist beginners and pros in their adventures in Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Ghost Recon Wildlands has been available for a few days now and sends you into battle against the Santa Blanca drug cartel in Bolivia. In the large tactical shooter from Ubisoft, there are many tricks that can help you on your missions. From special operational possibilities of the thermal camera to the correct use of the mini-map, we want to present ten tips and tricks here.
Experts may already know some tricks, but this selection should at least provide every reader with a trick they don’t yet know.
1. Find special weapon upgrades
If you have a specific weapon that you want to upgrade with a piece of gear, all you need is the location for the weapon upgrade. To find that, select the corresponding weapon in GunSmith and then click on “Parts.” Mark the part you want to find and look in the upper right corner of the screen. There, you will first learn the area where you can find the weapon upgrade.
Because the areas in Ghost Recon Wildlands are large, a search without guidance can be difficult. To simplify the search, head into the desired area and look for the two Intel Caches, which are displayed as white circles with exclamation marks in the middle.
The first Intel Cache shows you the locations of additional skill points in that area. The second Intel Cache shows you all weapons and weapon upgrades in the region you are currently in. Once you have uncovered the weapons and upgrades on the map, you just need to hover your mouse over the blue symbols to find out which weapon or upgrade it is.
2. Use thermal imaging wisely
In your skills selection, you can unlock the thermal imaging skill in the category “Object“. The thermal camera displays not only human enemies but also alarm systems and anti-aircraft weapons. This is helpful when you are operating in stealth mode and trying not to trigger an alarm.
3. Find the HTI location – find and destroy helicopters
The sniper rifle named HTI is the ultimate secret weapon against enemy helicopters. If you also skill “Vehicle Destruction” in weapon skills, you will destroy opposing vehicles and aircraft particularly quickly. Helicopters and vehicles can be destroyed with just one single shot!
If you have already been discovered by enemies and they know of your presence, you should remove the silencer from your weapon. Since you no longer need to hide, the silencer is unnecessary. Without a suppressor, you actually deal more damage with the weapon.
5. Settings for matchmaking
If you are not playing with friends and instead rely on the community of Ghost Recon Wildlands, you either browse threads on Reddit or Facebook or use the game’s matchmaking system. In this matchmaking system, you can specify who you want to play with. Since Wildlands is a communicative game, you should look for people with a microphone. Without a microphone, confusion often arises, leading to chaos that jeopardizes the mission.
Additionally, teammates should speak the same language as you to enable seamless communication. You can find the settings for this under Settings > Game > Player search filter. Select “Microphone + Language” there.
6. Use rebel support via drone
This function is particularly useful for working from cover. While you are using your drone, you can utilize rebel support. You don’t have to leave the drone view but can press the corresponding button during the flight (PC = Tab) to execute actions like a mortar strike.
7. Find an upgraded sniper scope
Playing with the standard scope on a sniper rifle is okay at first. However, if you have the chance, you should quickly take a detour and get an upgraded scope with zoom.
Where you can find special weapon upgrades has already been explained in point 1. A scope with extra zoom can be found, for example, in Koani. Further information about this scope can be found in the linked video at the end of the article.
8. You can change weapons and equipment not just at crates
One of the beginner mistakes in Ghost Recon Wildlands is assuming that weapon switching can only be performed at equipment crates. You can switch your weapons in the game at any time. Just open the weapon menu (PC = i) and change the corresponding weapons.
9. Use your mini-map effectively
Depending on the difficulty in the game, enemy camps will be displayed on your mini-map (bottom right of the game screen). Before you have uncovered the individual enemies, you will see red spots on the mini-map. These indicate the approximate locations where the enemies are located. Use your drone or binoculars to uncover each individual enemy.
After you have uncovered the enemies, they will be displayed as individual red dots. If no red spots but only dots are shown, you will know where the enemies are located and will not be surprised.
10. Shoot with the sniper from 150 meters+
You use your sniper rifle to kill an enemy more than 150 meters away? Then you can confidently detach your silencer and utilize the increased damage (point 4). Enemies will not hear the shot of your weapon when they are more than 150 meters away from you.
You can see the exact distance to enemies when you, for example, aim at them through the scope.

Raiding in WoW is so easy, it can be done without gear! At least that’s what a guild thought and proved it shortly in the Nightmare.
Raids in World of Warcraft are among the most challenging content that the MMORPG from Blizzard has to offer. Almost always, a coordinated group and a certain gear level are needed to stand up to the strongest foes of Azeroth.
As Buffed reports, the German guild Chaosengel decided to defeat the bosses of the Emerald Nightmare in a very special way: naked. Naked in this case means just the artifact weapon and all equipment pieces that are not visible on the character – that is, rings, trinkets, and chains.
Already on the first evening, Chaosengel could celebrate a success, as the corrupted dragon lady Nythendra could not withstand the siege of the scantily clad Alliance players for long. In a nearly 9-minute fight, which especially taxed the mana of the healers, the guild managed to defeat Nythendra just before reaching the “enrage timer”.

The kill was achieved on the “Normal” difficulty level.
Cortyn says: Even though the fun of this action was clearly the focus and I don’t like to downplay achievements, I am not particularly impressed by this kill. The artifact weapon alone accounts for nearly 30% of the character stats, and Nythendra is a fight where almost nobody takes damage if the mechanics are observed. This diminishes the achievement a bit in my view, but perhaps the guild will add more later.
In any case, a nice idea that shows: Gear is not always everything and fun should come first. A few people in the group search, who already demand item level 890 for “Mythic +2”, could take a page from this.
Except for a few exceptions, most heroes need a “crew” to achieve their goals – and great gear doesn’t hurt. That’s available in the MegaWootbox.

The HTI sniper is extremely effective against helicopters and vehicles in Ghost Recon Wildlands. We will show you how to quickly and easily find this weapon – the helicopter killer in Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Sniper rifles are popular in Ghost Recon Wildlands, as they allow for precise elimination of enemies at long distances. With snipers, you can also defend against enemy vehicles that annoy you during missions. The HTI is the showcase sniper in the community when it comes to quickly destroying helicopters. We will show you where to find this powerful weapon in Wildlands.
HTI Location – Find the sniper and destroy helicopters
You will have a lot of fun with the HTI in Ghost Recon Wildlands. Together with the skill “Vehicle Destruction“, enemy vehicles are no longer a problem for you. Small helicopters can even be destroyed with a single shot.
You will find this weapon in Montuyoc in a weapon crate. We explain exactly where this crate is located in this guide.
First, head to the east of Montuyoc – the fastest way is by helicopter. How you get to this location is up to you.
If you arrive by helicopter, you should fly low.
The area is secured by air defense missiles. The station is near the target area. You can see the location of the air defense in the following image.
Once you hopefully arrive at the target area in one piece, you need to carefully approach the camp in front of you.
It works quite well to come from the mountains in the east. Use the “climbing” ability on the rocks.
The watchtower that you find on the way to the camp was not manned during our tests. However, we found three soldiers that we quietly took out on the way to the weapon crate.
Unfortunately, you cannot use a drone here, as there are jammers in the camp that make the drone’s feed nearly useless.
Once you have cleared the way and are in the camp, you will see several black objects on the minimap.
One of these objects represents a container that you should visit. In the following image, we show the location of the container.
Be careful of possible patrols that may be near the container.
Now enter the container to find the weapon crate and pick up the weapon.
Now the HTI is in your possession, and you can try it out right in the camp.
In Destiny , a group of players fulfilled their dying friend’s last wish: to see the Lighthouse once.
Mike Mariana has played Destiny since the beta and along the way made good friends with Tim and Elliot. But as it goes: over time, every game gets boring, and the players drifted apart, losing touch – only Mike remained and continued to play Destiny.
When Tim checked in again one day, he met Mike, who had meanwhile been diagnosed with colon cancer. Mike said that Destiny was the only game he could still play. He felt unwell with all others.
In the meantime, Mike had spent 2800 hours in Destiny, played all three classes, but one goal remained elusive: the Lighthouse on Mercury. Only those who remain undefeated in the Trials of Osiris can reach this mythical place. The Trials of Osiris are Destiny’s elite PvP, where Guardians compete against each other every weekend under set rules. Only a fraction of all Guardians manage to complete the Trials flawlessly and reach Mercury.
Mike simply wasn’t good enough, like many others, to achieve that.
His friends, Tim and Elliot, tried everything to fulfill this wish for Mike, but it just wasn’t enough: They failed time and again, unable to reach Mercury.
Adding to this was the fact that cancer was taking its toll on Mike. It became increasingly difficult for him to play his beloved Destiny.
Since they couldn’t manage it themselves, Tim and Elliot sought help from a well-known streamer. They knew that Benjamin Lupo, known as DrLupo, could take players to Mercury and did so regularly on the streaming service Twitch. They asked him for help.
Lupo made sure there was some truth to the story, grabbed Mike, and brought him to Mercury during a 24-hour charity stream for the “Make a Wish” foundation. “Make a Wish” fulfills a last wish for terminally ill children.
During the stream, Mike spoke about his battle with cancer. Just before he made it to Mercury, Mike said on the stream that he had just learned that the cancer had spread to his brain and liver. Recently, he had been able to play little Destiny as he was recovering from surgery. But now he was just happy to be able to play with his friends again.

For Mike, cancer was just another hurdle to overcome, his friends recounted. But he couldn’t win this battle. Mike made it to Mercury in early 2017, when DrLupo did the live stream. As reported by the US site Kotaku, Mike passed away in the last week.
Mike’s family has set up a mourning fund. After DrLupo made contact and shared the link in the Destiny community, the goal of $5000 was quickly reached and far exceeded since then.
Mike’s friends are not surprised by how generous the community is: While most communities in other games often focus on negative things, the Destiny community is generous and friendly.
The community demands a 12vs12 mode in Overwatch – and Blizzard is listening.
With the new hero Orisa, the number of available characters in Overwatch increases to 24. Some fans on Reddit have taken this as an opportunity to suggest a new game mode to Blizzard: an oversized team deathmatch. On each side, 12 players would play, and each hero could only be selected once.
Blizzard has at least responded via their Twitter channel, stating that “that sounds fun,” which by itself is not a promise.
All heroes at once in a match? It could be possible!
The last new game mode was Capture the Flag, which divided the community quite a bit. Some love this mode because the various abilities of the heroes create extremely cool moments, while others find it boring because it has turned into the “Bastion-Torbjörn-Symmetra” defense, often resulting in a tie.
