With the character editor of Mass Effect: Andromeda, you can customize Ryder’s face down to the smallest detail. But can this even be done?
Many players are currently testing the trial version of Mass Effect: Andromeda, which can be tried out as part of the “EA Access” or “Origin Access” offer. However, since the playtime is limited to 10 hours, time should be invested and planned wisely. Yet, it often takes a while to create an appealing main character with whom you’ll spend the next days and weeks.
Worse yet: In Mass Effect: Andromeda, you even have to customize 2 characters immediately. Depending on whether you play as a male or female Ryder, you also need to adjust the sibling. To see what options are available ahead of time, check out this video from FluffyNinjaLlama – it should help you find what you are looking for in the game faster.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vrvFeEXC2s
If you want to take your time, you might have to wait until March 23rd. Then Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Cortyn says: I must confess that I spent nearly an hour working on the character creator of Mass Effect, only to eventually hit the “Ah, screw it” button to just start with the default Sara Ryder. I couldn’t create a character that I found somewhat visually appealing, as all “presets” looked – from my absolutely subjective perspective – completely ugly. But well, now I am running around with the default Sara Ryder and don’t have to worry about little scars and nuances in eyebrow placement anymore. Maybe a helmet would have sufficed from the beginning…
A Kickstarter campaign is supposed to help him develop his own GTA. This 12-year-old game developer has big goals!
The dream of his own GTA belongs to this 12-year-old game developer from England. To realize this dream, he has already started developing a game called “The Country“. However, he still lacks funds to continue working on the game and later release it on Steam. He is relying on the Kickstarter website and hopes for supporters for his project.
Similar gameplay to GTA
He has already uploaded the first screenshots so that supporters can get a rough idea of the project. Although, there is not much more than hills, green landscape, and a house visible in the pictures. He envisions the gameplay of The Country to be similar to that of GTA “… with shooting and surviving and so on …”. Since the game is not yet finished, he hopes for supporters on Kickstarter for his game.
Apparently, many people like the idea of the 12-year-old, as 23 people have already participated in the financing of the project and have exceeded the original funding goal of 90 pounds. Currently, it stands at 224 pounds.
When asked why he wants to be a game developer, he says: “I think I could be a successful game developer because I already know about coding, even though I am only 12 years old.”
An update on his Kickstarter page shows how excited he is about reaching the 90 pounds goal:
“I have reached my goal. Folks, I never thought that my dream would come true. Thank you to each of you who supported me and made my dream come true. I thank you so much! :’)”

A total of 23 Green Cards will be introduced to the game:

Furthermore, new Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) have been confirmed. You will need the green cards to complete some of them. There are “Green Team”, “Premium Gold Pack”, “Mega Gold Pack” and “Ultimate Gold Pack”. These packs contain random coin amounts. The Ultimate Pack can contain between 40,000 to 300,000 coins!
At the start of St. Patrick’s Day, there are two pack offers for 20,000 coins (Hybrid pack of gold and silver players – 6 Rare) and 30,000 coins (Hybrid pack of gold and silver players – all Rare).
How did St. Patrick’s Day – “St. Paddy’s Day” – go in previous years?
What else is coming our way in FUT 17 could be revealed by looking back at the “St. Patrick’s Day” events of past years. During the holidays, there were several pack offers in the shop. Additionally, a “St. Patrick’s Day Tournament” took place in single-player and multiplayer, offering delicious rewards.
And since special Squad Building Challenges (SBC) go live for every event in FUT 17, we assume there will be an SBC for St. Patrick’s Day as well. Update: There will be several SBCs, as has now been revealed.
Massive responds to the fierce criticism of the “Year 2” plans for The Division .
Recently, the State of the Game aired on March 16. High expectations were set for this livestream, as the special report last week raised numerous questions: For the first time, the developers talked about Year 2. However, the community did not respond with joy and optimism, but with doubt and criticism: “Was that all?”, “What do the plans look like exactly?”.
Today, community developers Hamish Bode and Yannick Banchereau spoke about this stream and its “Year 2” announcement – and tried to reassure.
The Year 2 reveal is yet to come
The special report last week was never meant to be a “Year 2” reveal, according to the developers. Instead, they wanted to celebrate the anniversary of The Division, present the “Year 1” events and gifts, and then take a look into the future. Communicating to the community: Yes, it continues. We are also working on The Division in 2017. Here are a few new things you can already look forward to.
However, they admit that they were a bit too naive. They should have expected that the agents would primarily be interested in the “Year 2” plans rather than a birthday celebration. Therefore, the expectations of the agents regarding this stream were too high. The actual “Year 2” reveal is still pending.
But they wanted to be honest: One should not expect major story expansions. However, new items and new features will definitely come – and everything in between is also possible.
They briefly touched on loadouts: They mentioned it as a highlight last week, as loadouts are a feature that players have long wished for. They wanted to say: “Hey, loadouts are coming!”, and not “Loadouts are the main content that can be expected”.
Information on the two expansions in Year 2
Year 2 will deliver two expansions:
The first expansion will come in summer and bring the mentioned features: loadouts, feats, and events. More details about the events will be discussed later. Furthermore, one can expect more from this update: new items, new weapons, and armor pieces are conceivable.
The second expansion will bring content that has not been discussed so far. However, they listen to the community and try to realize some wishes with this update. Last week, it was said that this would bring narrative elements.
Furthermore, there will be a client patch between now and the first update in summer that will address major issues. Massive emphasized today multiple times that they will continue to work on all the bugs and errors.
More information from the State of the Game:
In the coming weeks and months, there will be much to discuss about what else is in store for Year 2. The arrival of new weapons, new gear sets, and new items is certainly not off the table. An increase in gear score is also conceivable if it makes sense. Nothing is excluded.
For the summer update, new PTS are definitely coming – they are also working on an implementation for consoles. A new ETF will also be available.
Currently, they are investigating issues with stagger, seeker mines, talents, and medkits. They are also working on choosing better spawn points in “Last Stand” to prevent spawn camping. The agile talent is currently too powerful, and Massive is looking into it more closely. Furthermore, the fight against lags and server issues continues.
The developers are working on the netcode so that players with high ping can be hit better in Battlefield 1 . There will also be a test environment for consoles soon.
The They Shall not Pass DLC was unlocked on March 14 for players with a Premium Pass and was released simultaneously with an update for hit detection. The improved hit detection is important for dealing with high ping players. Further improvements are expected in the next major patch, probably in the Spring Update.
Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players will receive an increased tick rate, a ping display, and will likely soon be able to participate in the CTE.
Improvements to the netcode – Kills around corners?
The last update already provided improvements to the netcode. However, work on this issue is not yet finished, as the developers want to improve hit detection for players with high ping in the next patch. This should prevent bullets from hitting players who “actually” are already behind a corner.
Players with high ping like to exploit their handicap and frustrate opponents who cannot hit the “laggers.” The developers are already working on a solution for this problem, which is easier to implement on PC than on consoles.
DICE-Mischkag states in the forums that it wouldn’t even take a minute to implement a kick system in the game that kicks players due to packet loss. He would like to implement such a feature for rented and some regional servers, but there are problems. You cannot simply kick players based on their connection if Sony still classifies that connection as “good.” This can be done for PC players, but not so much for console players.
There are also considerations to equip servers with a ping cap of 250-300ms. Players with higher ping will not be able to play on these servers.
“I really hope that the improvements to the netcode will lead to players with high ping being seen as more than “just targets” and not as immortal players. We will of course continue to monitor the implementation of ping caps.” writes Mischkag.
Improvements for PS4 and Xbox One
Players on PS4 and Xbox One can look forward to the upcoming updates for Battlefield 1, as the developers are taking care of them. As Mischkag writes in the forum, the Community Test Environment should soon be opened for console players. There, you, as a Premium player, can try out new content before the official release. This includes weapons and maps, for which you can leave your feedback to the developers after testing.
The next patch will also include ping displays for PS4 and Xbox One. You will find this ping display in the scoreboard. This ping overview was supposed to be included in the last update, but there were minor issues that prevented it.
Improvements in the next patch also include tick rates. The tick rate affects weapon switching, input delay, hit detection, and many other aspects of the game. “For the update following the XP1 patch, we hope that consoles will run at 60Hz tick in all game modes (with a maximum of 32 players).” writes Mischkag.
When the next patch for Battlefield 1 will be released is still unclear. We will keep you updated.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is coming soon and fans are excited about the multiplayer. We have all the information!
The Multiplayer of ME: Andromeda – Is there PvP?
If you played the multiplayer mode of Mass Effect 3, you will easily find your way in Andromeda as well. The modes do not differ in principle. This also means that there is no PvP, only cooperative PvE missions. Enemies attack in waves, which also appear in the single-player mode of the game.
Each wave is stronger than the previous one and is spiced up by additional missions. Often it’s just about plain survival, but occasionally objectives must be met, such as escorting or protecting specific areas.
Different difficulty levels always ensure the right challenge, and the numerous unlockable weapons and characters provide long-term motivation. How exactly a match plays out is shown in the official trailer:

In the multiplayer of Mass Effect, you can choose from 26 different characters, each possessing a unique set of abilities. If you like Biotic, you’ll choose an Adept, and if you prefer to trigger Tech Explosions, you will grab a Technician. 12 characters are unlocked from the start (all humans), and the remaining characters are obtained as rewards from booster boxes that you can buy with in-game or real-world currency.
All characters are leveled individually and have skill trees to customize abilities according to personal preferences – basically just like in the predecessor.
Freedom in weapon choice
Each character can carry any weapon in multiplayer. But it comes with a price. Those who carry particularly heavy weapons that deal high damage will be burdened with quite a bit of weight. This negatively affects the cooldown times of abilities. If you prefer to throw around biotic explosions constantly, you should only bring one or two light weapons. Finding the right balance here is challenging, but thanks to different modifications, the weight of a weapon can be influenced to save at least a few points.
Is the multiplayer connected to the singleplayer?
A major criticism of Mass Effect 3 was that you had to play the multiplayer to be particularly successful in singleplayer.
Is that also the case in Andromeda? Somewhat.
In Andromeda, there are so-called “Strike Missions”, which are special operations in the galaxy that require the attention of the Pathfinder. The Pathfinder can send troops to complete these missions. However, for some missions, you have the option of not doing them yourself. In that case, the game switches to multiplayer, and the corresponding mission is executed. Rewards can be obtained in both ways.
However, especially for difficult missions, it is worth handling them in multiplayer yourself, as the NPC teams can fail – especially for tough tasks, they often return battered.
Real money shop – What does it offer?
As in the multiplayer of Mass Effect 3, Andromeda also offers the option to purchase booster boxes with real money. This is done through the real money currency “Andromeda Points”. The prices are quite steep:
500 points are available for 5€, and for larger packages, you save a bit more. For example, if you choose to buy 12,000 points, you pay 100 Euros.
The prices are steep – but you don’t have to buy anything to have fun.
For comparison: The booster boxes cost between 100 and 300 points, depending on the rarity level.
However, the purchase of points is not really necessary, as you can also earn the boxes. If you bring a good team and effectively master even the more difficult challenges, you can purchase a few boxes after each match. There is no compulsion to buy points.
The future of the multiplayer mode
It is also worth mentioning that BioWare always refers to the 26 characters and 5 maps as “at launch”. This suggests that there will be updates with new maps, characters, and weapons after the game’s release – just as it was the case in Mass Effect 3.
In summary, the multiplayer of Mass Effect: Andromeda is a more action-packed variant of the popular “Mass Effect: 3” multiplayer. Those who expected big changes will be disappointed. Fans of the predecessor will likely spend many hours again kicking alien virtual butt.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released on March 23, 2017, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Do you have any further questions about the multiplayer of Mass Effect: Andromeda?
In For Honor, players use the swastika as a symbol. Ubisoft has provided guidelines on how to deal with it.
On reddit, a player uploaded a screenshot showing that he faced a team with three players using the swastika symbol. In For Honor, players can create symbols using a fairly flexible editor. Some create the Ferrari logo, while others seemingly create the swastika.
Community Manager Eric Pope has also discovered the thread and provides these guidelines on how to deal with it in For Honor:
Defeat Nazis when you encounter them in-game.
Report Nazis when you see them in-game.
Help make our community a better place.
The swastika is an ancient symbol originally without a unified meaning. In various religions, it is understood as a good luck sign. Since 1945, the symbol has been banned in Germany because it is associated with the oppressive regime and the crimes of the National Socialists.
There is also trouble with “Deus Vult” in the USA
For Honor exists in a somewhat strange tension field of political correctness. The English community of knights uses the battle cry “Deus Vult” (God wills it) as a hallmark, battle cry, and meme among themselves.
Under the motto “Deus Vult”, the Crusades took place in the Middle Ages.
As the US site Polygon writes, the “Alt-Right” movement in the USA uses the term as a motto to make it clear: If we win and Trump is elected president, then Islam is in trouble.
However, in the game “For Honor”, “Deus Vult” is evidently not seen by players in this context, but rather in a politically detached framework.

In an upcoming Pokémon GO version, players can expect a new sunset and other visual changes that you can see in the video.
Since the game was released in summer 2016, there have been few visual changes to Pokémon GO. In a new version, the virtual representation of the world in the game is being changed. This includes a new animated sunset, a new indicator for the Pokémon GO+, and altered grass tufts. These changes were showcased by Niantic’s Dennis Hwang during a conference.
Pokémon GO News – New version beautifies the game
During the Games Developer Conference, Hwang spoke about design decisions made by the developers. Regarding the map display, he stated it should be clear and functional on one side (similar to Google Maps), but on the other hand, it should also be part of the game and fun to use.
When designing the map, care is taken to ensure that players still feel connected to the real world while not being distracted by too many visual effects and elements.
When the game was launched, only about 10% of the ideas the developers had for Pokémon GO were implemented. Now there is a larger team helping to bring these ideas to fruition. Hwang mentions that the game is intended to connect even better with the real world in the future.
One example of this is the new, animated sunset that you can see in the video.

Sunsets and weather adjustments are expected in a later version of Pokémon GO for all players. The video highlights further changes, which Hwang, however, left unmentioned. A new Pokémon GO+ icon is noticeable in the lower right corner.
More importantly for trainers might be the grass animation, which you can see at the end of the video. It clearly indicates where Pokémon might be hiding in your surroundings. This feature may make hunting for Pokémon more interesting, as it becomes clearer where to search.
The Closed Beta for Paladins has started on PS4 and Xbox One. Many are now wondering if they can keep their progress in the open beta and at the launch of the main game. We have the answer.
Paladins has launched with the Closed Beta on PS4 and Xbox One. Now console players can take a closer look at the Steam hit of 2016.
We received the question often from console players yesterday about whether they can keep their Closed Beta progress. In Paladins, you can unlock champions, cosmetic items, and cards for your deck. There is also a leveling system for the champions, where you earn rewards. The concern of losing everything when transitioning to the open beta is justified.
Fear not, because:
Paladins: Closed Beta players keep all progress
Take a deep breath. You will not lose any of your hard-earned progress! Nothing you earn or purchase in the Closed Beta will be lost.
Paladins PS4, Xbox One: Founder’s Pack – Price and what it contains
Those who decide to purchase the Founder’s Pack will also keep it after the beta. The Founder’s Pack can be found in the Paladins shop and currently includes for 14.99 Euros:
In The Division, the 24th and final ISAC mission is live. A reward awaits the agents.
Last week, a new ISAC mission surprisingly went live. In it, you had to find and defeat Asher. Asher is the villain in a mini-series about the Division technician Simon, with episodes released weekly on Ubisoft’s YouTube channel.
In Year 1 of The Division, a short video called “Operation ISAC” was released online every week until early September – along with an in-game mission through which you could earn various rewards. Then, suddenly in September, Episode 22 marked its end. Now, after Update 1.6, the series finds its conclusion.
Asher is dead, Simon rewards you for it
Yesterday, Ubisoft released the last two episodes of this mini-series in a video: Episode 23 relates to last week’s mission where you had to eliminate Asher. Episode 24 celebrates the happy ending, and Simon sends you to the operations base, where he has a gift for you:

To collect the gift, simply go to the operations base and run straight towards the terminal. In front of the entrance to the medical wing, there is a locker where the gift is located.
You will receive 3 Division Tech and six cosmetic items: hat, jacket, pants, scarf, shirt, shoes – all in the ISAC-Simon style. This concludes the ISAC missions. In the video, Simon thanks you for your help.
More Weekly Missions
Besides the ISAC mission, for which you now have a week, two other weekly missions have been live since Tuesday, through which you can snag weekly mission containers:
Win 20000 points in Survival
Additionally, you need to complete these individual tasks to get another container:
Eliminate 10 named enemies
Collect 30 fabric pieces
Eliminate 50 LMB mercenaries in the Dark Zone
Complete 10 main operations on Hard or Challenging difficulty
LawBreakers is a hero shooter that aims to accelerate the Overwatch gameplay even further. Those who want to take a look at the new game from Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski will have the opportunity in the closed beta.
LawBreakers looks a bit like a mix between the shiny MOBA Paragon and the hero shooter Overwatch. But while Blizzard opts for cute comic graphics and a reduced level of violence, LawBreakers is decidedly darker, more realistic, and brutal.
In a distant future, the moon shattered and since then strange gravity phenomena have plagued Earth. In the resulting chaos, the so-called “Breakers” want to wreak havoc, while the law enforcers of “Law” try to stop them.

These conflicts between law and chaos take place in the ravaged America, and since gravity is going crazy, your heroes often fly wildly around. The gameplay becomes extremely fast because of this and also takes place vertically, as the enemy can swirl through the air in a gravitational whirlpool instead of just crawling on the ground.
LawBreakers currently has four hero classes, each providing an identical hero in terms of skills and weapons on each side. The choice between Law and Breakers is thus purely cosmetic:
Enforcer: These fighters are all-rounders who fight with rifles, pistols, and rockets and set up support fields. These heroes are quite reminiscent of Soldier: 76 from Overwatch.
Assassin: These heroes fight with shotguns and daggers, which they can also use as grappling hooks to reach otherwise inaccessible places. If the fast gameplay is still not fast enough, the assassin is the way to go.
Titan: The hefty Titans are tanks and strongly resemble the heroine Zarya from Overwatch. They can handle electric beam weapons at close range, endure a lot, and can also trigger a gravitational bomb to hinder opponents. At range, they shoot with rocket launchers.
Vanguard: Vanguards fly around with jetpack armor, shooting with Gatling guns and raining rockets. Reminds a bit of Pharah from Overwatch.
Two more classes, “Harrier” and “Wraith,” are yet to come. Just the class names suggest versions of Tracer and Reaper. All heroes are basically humans, but to better distinguish them, the developers have given each hero unique features, such as the leg prosthetics of Hellion or the mask with hanging cables of Chronos.
LawBreakers – Not an Overwatch Clone?
The mentioned heroes strongly resemble characters from Overwatch, but according to a quote from chief developer Cliff Bleszinski (on the site Gamespot), the game is supposed to differ enough from the competitor so that both games can coexist:
“Do you remember all the “Halo killers” that were supposed to come? Halo was never “killed”. […] it’s not about ‘killing’; it’s about coexistence. I play Battlefield and Call of Duty. I used to play Tekken and Street Fighter. There is enough room for two or three games at the top of a genre, and only after that do you fight for the leftovers.”
Bleszinski further noted: “People will understand LawBreakers when they have played it.” You have the opportunity to do so starting today, March 16th. The first closed beta starts at 5 PM our time and will last until March 20th at 5 AM. Bleszinski mentioned that they want to keep the beta very exclusive at first, similar to a newly opened club where everyone wants in, but there are only a few invitations available. Therefore, only alpha testers and about 50,000 new players are allowed in. However, there will be more beta phases to follow.
This is how you sign up for the beta: Just go to the LawBreakers website at the provided link and register. Don’t worry if it doesn’t work out this time. The developers want to hold more betas.
Black Desert Online comes from Korea, but we are still celebrating one of the coolest holidays of the West: Saint Patrick’s Day! In honor of the Irish national saint, there will be plenty of free beer and green paint. Moreover, the Black Spirit Adventures are returning.
The Saint Patrick’s Day is actually a traditional Catholic holiday celebrated in honor of Saint Patrick, mainly in Ireland and areas with many Irish-descendants. Curiously, the day used to be a fasting day when nothing was drunk, but today, the holiday on March 17 resembles a lively carnival event where people paint themselves green or dress up as leprechauns and stagger through the streets and pubs.
Black Desert Online – Even donkeys are green on Saint Patrick’s Day!
But not only in Ireland, New York, and Munich the leprechaun dances on March 17; the tranquil fantasy world of Black Desert Online will also have a celebration on Friday. The developers at Kakao Games have promised every player a shipment of free beer. A total of 10 bottles of “Cold Draft Beer” and “Cold Alt Beer” will be sent to you by mail.
You have until March 31 to consume the fine brew; however, the delivery can only be picked up until March 24. Additionally, there are special green dyes in the Pearl Shop for Saint Patrick’s Day, which you can redeem for 1 Loyalty. The offer is limited to three dye packages per family and is valid from March 15 to March 22.
BDO Update – Black Spirit Adventures and Dark Knight Costumes
The Black Spirit, your constant companion in Black Desert Online, is not green, but he will also give you new tasks for Saint Patrick’s Day. The Black Spirit Adventures are back, and you can roll three times a day to win prizes. The event starts on March 15 and ends on April 19.
If you have created a new Dark Knight, you can buy all kinds of outfits for your dark elf or craft them in the tailor workshop. Moreover, the maintenance work on March 15 apparently took longer than expected, which is why Kakao Games wants to compensate players separately.
The next patch for WoW is already being downloaded. Is the release coming in just a few days?
And suddenly everything went faster than expected. Most players were speculating that patch 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras” would take a few more months for World of Warcraft, but Blizzard has managed to surprise fans once again. Much earlier than expected, the background download for patch 7.2 has started, which is already downloading the game data for the update.
Is the background download not starting for you yet? Then open the Battle.net software, select “Settings” and then “Installation & Updates”. Here you scroll down and select under “Automatic Updates” the sub-point “Perform latest updates and download data for future updates”. Then World of Warcraft should update to the latest version and the pre-download should begin.
Patch 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras” brings the Broken Shore as a new zone, where the demon invasion of the Legion reaches its climax. Here lies the namesake tomb, a new raid instance, at the end of which Kil’Jaeden awaits to ruin the players’ day (and ultimately drop a lot of loot). Additionally, patch 7.2 brings new levels for artifact weapons, class-specific mounts, new world quests, and brings back the popular demon invasions to the Broken Isles.
There is still no specific date for the release. Past experience shows that after the start of the download, it took between one and three weeks until the actual patch is applied.
If no urgent bugs arise on the PTR in the next few days, we can probably expect a release in early April – that would be just under 3 months after the release of patch 7.1.5.
Today, on March 16, the servers for Ubisoft’s For Honor are going down. Maintenance is taking place, and a content update is coming. Server status on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Ubisoft announced a longer maintenance for this Thursday:
At 1 PM our time, the servers will be shut down. The expected downtime is one hour and 45 minutes, so you can play again around 2:45 PM.
What is changing today? – Maintenance
According to the developers, this is routine maintenance. They are only working on the online infrastructure in the background. Bugs and issues will not be fixed.
However, Ubisoft is using this maintenance to deploy a new content update. This includes new gestures for all heroes in For Honor. You can find out how these gestures look in the provided link.
Note: The maintenance last week lasted significantly longer than Ubisoft indicated. If there are significant delays this week as well, we will update this article.
The G28 sniper rifle in Ghost Recon Wildlands is characterized by a particularly high rate of fire. We will show you the location and where to find the sniper.
In Ghost Recon Wildlands, there is a wide selection of different sniper rifles. With the 17 snipers, various play styles are accommodated, such as those focused more on vehicle destruction, high precision, or rate of fire. The G28 sniper is one of the models with a high rate of fire.
Because the G28 is hidden in a camp with many enemies, you should use silenced weapons to clear the way to the sniper rifle. We will show you where to find the weapon.
Where to find the G28 sniper in GRW?
The weapon crate for the G28 is located in the middle of an enemy base, which you should explore well first. Using the drone in combination with silenced weapons will help you reach the target point.
You will find the G28 in the north of San Mateo. The following map shows you the approximate target position you need to head to.
First, head to San Mateo by helicopter or another vehicle.
Because the camp with vehicles is difficult to reach, we recommend a helicopter, which will allow you to land nearby.
We did not notice any air defense missiles in the immediate vicinity of the target position.
Approach the point La Carcel Del Pueblo.
In our test, we approached the target area from the north.
Land above the “gorge” and use your drone to explore the area.
At the point marked “Down” on the map, there is a good opportunity to descend into the gorge without getting hurt.
As you might have already recognized with your drone, you will now encounter a patrol and two snipers. One of these snipers is far away and is not relevant at first.
Eliminate the two enemies near you with the silencer.
Now slowly approach the weapon crate and continually use your drone to uncover enemies. Follow roughly the blue path in the picture.
If you need to kill someone, you should play it safe and not take any risks. Get into a good shooting position where you can see and kill the target well.
If you miss, there are various alarm signals that will be quickly triggered by enemies.
Take out enemies that are on the direct path to the target building.
In the marked house, you will find the weapon crate for the G28 and next to it a ammunition crate.
If you want to play it safe, take the same route back to escape.
To try out the weapon, you can stay right there in the camp – there are enough enemies there.
Comparison: G28 and HTI
When we compare the two popular sniper rifles of the community, the differences are clearly visible. In our test, we compared the two weapons HTI and G28 in standard configuration.
Negative
The G28 has significantly less damage
less precision (low)
less range
and less penetration
Positive
More maneuverability
Significantly more rate of fire
Significantly more noise suppression
That the G28 is quieter than the HTI monster was already to be expected. You should try the high rate of fire in the game itself and get an impression since this is a special semi-automatic precision rifle. It fires significantly faster than other sniper rifles and is reminiscent of a slow assault rifle (with little ammunition).
New details about the Age of Triumph update in Destiny have been revealed. We take a closer look.
On March 15, the second livestream from Bungie regarding the upcoming content update “Age of Triumph” took place. It focused on the weekly rituals – the content and rewards updated with the weekly reset and displayed in the navigator at the bottom left of the screen.
However, the stream also showcased more than just these “Weekly Rituals”. Bungie also guided viewers through the new Eververse, through the Silver Dust store, and revealed further details that caused quite a stir in the chats and forums.
A feature set to return with Age of Triumph became the main topic on Reddit right after the stream and caused cheers: “Blue Flames! Blue Flames are back!”
The Return of the Blue Flames
Some fans might have missed the “blue flames” during the stream. When the Guardians finished the Nightfall strike and were at the Tower, the “blue flames” flickered around their heads. Here’s a screenshot where you can catch a glimpse of that:
But what do these flames mean? Most “Year 1” Guardians will remember: They represented the buff given after successfully completing a Nightfall strike. Additionally, it was a way to show other players in the Tower: Look, I mastered the Nightfall!

Via Twitter, Bungie confirmed that not only will the blue flames return as visual highlights, but the Nightfall buff will also return. In Year 1, this buff increased all reputation and experience gains by 25% until the next weekly reset, which is why players would complete the Nightfall strike first in the new week, if possible.
The blue flames are now returning to the joy of many Guardians – Bungie is reviving nostalgia once again.
For those who can’t wait for the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda, you can now play the trial version on PC or Xbox One starting today. All you need is a subscription to EA Access or Origin Access.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to be a relaunch of the successful Mass Effect series by Bioware. In the distant Andromeda galaxy, Pathfinder Ryder and the rest of humanity will face new opportunities and new dangers. While the whole sci-fi fun is supposed to kick off on March 23rd here, those who wish can already test the game.
Mass Effect: Andromeda – Trial Access through EA Access and Origin Access
“Yes, I want to play Mass Effect: Andromeda right now! What do I need to do?” To play the trial version, you only need a subscription to Electronic Arts’ early access program. This is called Origin Access on PC and EA Access on Xbox One. It is a paid service that costs you €3.99 per month and allows early access to ME:A as well as various full versions and early access to other EA titles.
But be careful: You cannot just play the demo version of Mass Effect: Andromeda until the release. Rather, the whole fun is limited to 10 hours. Note: Even time spent fiddling in menus, customizing your Ryder, or idly petting your cat counts! So only boot up ME: A if you actually want to play it, as every second counts!
The story is also limited up to a certain point. After that, it’s game over. However, you can still explore the planet further and complete side missions. Your game progress will be saved at least if you buy the full version. The multiplayer part, however, should be free of restrictions.
What do you think of the trial version of Mass Effect: Andromeda? Cool that EA offers something like this, or do you think the practice of selling highly limited demos for money is outrageous? Let us know in the comments!
Blizzard has released a preview for the “World of Warcraft” Patch 7.2 and there is plenty to do.
Patch 7.2 “Tomb of Sargeras” is approaching its release rapidly. After the first part of a new pre-quest for the update started yesterday, Blizzard has now released an official preview for the Broken Shore. We have highlighted the key points for you.
The Broken Shore must first be unlocked via a single-player scenario that ends with the establishment of the first outpost. This also unlocks the new faction, the “Judges of the Legion” (“Legionfall” in English). From then on, all efforts, such as World Quests, rare enemies, or the regular quest line, focus primarily on building new structures.
Three buildings are available to choose from, which can be supported with resources. All have different bonuses and will be destroyed after a while. So all buildings will rotate, allowing you to enjoy all bonuses alternately.
The Legion Ship Sentinax
The largest ship of the Legion on the Broken Shore is the Sentinax. As long as you fight in the shadow of the ship, you can collect special signal fires, which you can use to command the ship to open portals. From these portals, demons emerge, leaving behind stronger signal fires – you can see where this is going. Ultimately, this culminates in summoning a raid boss that drops a ton of nether shards and surely some items. You can view the complete preview with all the details on Blizzard’s official website.
However, there is still no fixed release date for Patch 7.2.
In Diablo 3, there is an event in March where cows go wild. The translation “Euternasie” was politically incorrect and has now been changed.
In March 2016, the event “Euternasie” took place for the first time in Diablo 3. Like many things related to the mysterious cow level in Diablo 3, there is a fourth-degree pun. In English, the event was and still is called “Udder Cowlamity” – a double play on words.
In German, the event was named “Euternasie.” It is also a pun, but quite a striking one. Today, the word “Euthanasie” is used in German in the context of the topic “assisted dying.” However, historically, the term “Euthanasie” in Germany is closely linked to the Nazis and the Third Reich. The word referred to the systematic murders of people with physical and/or mental disabilities.
In March 2016, there was a forum thread in the German forum for Diablo 3. It was started by the user Behalon. Essentially: “Are you really sure about that name? I’m not a fan of excessive political correctness, but … the mass slaughter of mentally ill, crazy cows under the term Euternasie only leaves one association …”
Blueposter “Tumodis” already stated back then: He agreed that the translation is poorly chosen. They wanted to change it in an upcoming patch.
Now that March has come again and the event is active, gaming magazines – like us – have announced it again as “Euternasie,” but in the game, the event now has a different name. The event is now known as “Hellish Herd Instinct.” At some point in the last few months, Blizzard must have changed the name of the event.
Currently, everyone in Diablo 3 is waiting for the start of Season 10 and a bit further then for the release of the Necromancer. For Season 10, there is a date; for the Necromancer, not yet.
