The class challenges in WoW cause frustration among players. Even Cortyn doesn’t find much to appreciate about it.
Have you already taken a look at your class challenge in World of Warcraft? They are quite difficult at times, and a large part of the players cannot – and should not – complete them yet.
In principle, I think that difficult content, which only a small percentage of players can overcome, is quite good. This even applies when I personally will probably never get to see that content. In WoW, there are some examples, such as additional bosses on “mythic” difficulty or completely new phases in boss fights.
Not every piece of content is meant for all players, and those who enjoy particularly difficult challenges should also be able to have them – even if other players are denied the rewards.
What I don’t like about the class challenges, however, is the fact that so many classes have been thrown together. Almost always, 4 or 5 specializations share one challenge, which leads to a significant dilution of the task.
They wanted to create challenges that are based on the “Green Fire” quest for Warlocks or the “Blessing/Curse” quest for Priests – but they did not do that. These are not tailored challenges for each specialization, but rather “one-size-fits-all” for several at the same time.

And that exactly creates “unfair” situations. Frost Mages can relatively easily complete the “Defeat the Twins” fight if they have a solid amount of life steal on their gear. Shadow Priests rely on the right legendary item and luck – because only when their slowing Shadow Tendril procs, will the enemy be permanently slowed.
Such examples exist for all class challenges. Some characters can – as of now – only succeed if they have the exactly correct legendaries.
With more fine-tuning, the class challenges would have been fairer.
Sure, this problem will lessen in the coming weeks and months as the gear improves and the character’s performance increases proportionally. But it is exactly this unfair challenge (with widely varying difficulty among the specializations) that causes great dissatisfaction in the community. Personally, I would have preferred if each specialization had received a truly unique challenge – it can still be extremely difficult.

In The Division, the Airburst Seeker Mine has been a hot topic in the community for weeks. Massive explains how they plan to revise this skill.
The Seeker Mine has been a frequently complained about issue since the launch of “Last Stand” in the eponymous PvP mode. Specifically, the Airburst mod, which is the Air Detonation mod. The reason: The Seeker Mine is far too strong with this mod, it can eliminate agents directly and is therefore often used. Many players are dissatisfied with this Seeker Mine meta.

The Seeker Mine is a skill from the Technology branch: You deploy a rolling mine that seeks out enemy targets and then explodes near them. With the Airburst mod, there are additional incendiary bombs that set enemies on fire and deal damage over time.
The big problem is: This skill deals a lot of damage (especially with skill power builds) and requires no skill. One user writes that he has killed 20 enemies in Last Stand without even seeing them. He just has to throw one Seeker Mine after another on the ground, and the kills come automatically.
Massive is aware of this problem, as they have emphasized several times in recent weeks. For a skill that takes over aiming for someone, it is too powerful. In the past of The Division, there were phases when the Sticky Grenade dominated the meta. However, in order to use the Sticky Grenade effectively, agents at least have to aim themselves.
How the Seeker Mine will be revised
With an upcoming patch, the developers want to curb the power of the Air Detonation Seeker Mine. To do this, 20% of the initial explosion damage will be removed and transferred to the burn status effect that this skill causes afterwards.
With high values in burn resistance, you can mitigate this status effect. With medkits, you can even cleanse it. This will make it easier to survive against this skill.
However: The damage output overall remains the same for the Seeker Mine. This means that you will deal the same damage to PvE enemies as before, as they have no resistances or ways to get rid of the status effect.

In the online shooter Escape from Tarkov, the two factions BEAR and USEC are actually at war. However, those who have no interest in this conflict simply become a lawless Scavenger.
The option to play as a Scavenger will be introduced in the next alpha patch. The Scavengers or Scavs are bandits and looters. Everyone fights for themselves and is essentially on their own. On the Broken Isles of World of Warcraft, the Legion is hitting harder now – the invasion of the Legion has begun.
Just yesterday, players of World of Warcraft were puzzling over how to complete a certain quest. Maiev Shadowsong wanted in “Defense of the Broken Isles” for the players to fend off a Legion attack – but there was no sign of that anywhere. Now, after the maintenance on 04/05/2017, the invasions of the Legion have begun on the Broken Isles.
Simply open your map and look at the Broken Isles – usually, an area will be marked with a large green symbol that indicates: The Legion is here and wants a solid beating.

The invasion basically runs very similarly to the times of the pre-event of Legion. You enter an area and can help on all possible fronts, as there are many world quests directly related to the invasion.
After you have completed a few small missions, you can take down the leaders. If you wish, you can even strike back at the end of the invasion and capture a Legion spaceship with some other players.
Aside from that, the invasions are a good source of nether shards that you can spend for various purposes. They are needed for attempts at the challenging class challenges or can be exchanged for “tokens” with which you receive gear of item level 880. In any case, nether shards are valuable, and one can (for now) never have enough of them.
Also, keep in mind that you must complete at least one invasion in each area if you plan to fly on the Broken Isles later. Fending off an invasion in each area is part of the meta achievement “Pathfinder of the Broken Isles, Part 2”.

In an interview with Gameindustrybiz, Niantic CEO John Hanke talks about virtual reality. He believes it is dangerous because it is too good. People could spend a lot of time with it, which would be bad for society in the long run.

Due to alpha feedback, some changes have been made to the game to simplify movements. Players can now move while attacking, which should make gameplay significantly smoother. Double Tap: You click once on the key of an ability to see its area of effect. A second click confirms the usage.
Press-Release: As long as you hold down the ability key, you will see its area of effect. Releasing the key will trigger the skill.
Smartcast/Single Tap: Pressing the ability key will cast it immediately.
Buildables
In Breakaway, you can build devices or items that assist you in the game. For example, Thorgrim can construct a huge wall that blocks opponents. Anne Bonny can set up a trampoline that propels you into the air. Although these buildables sound fun, they have rarely been used in the game. When they were used, chaos ensued too quickly in the game.
Warriors in Breakaway can now create only one buildable instead of two after the changes. However, the constructed items have more health points. When they are destroyed, the gold goes directly to the destroying team (200 gold for the last hitter, 100 gold for the rest of the team) – The gold reward for destruction has been reduced. Additionally, some warriors now have different buildables than before due to balance changes.

Only 38% of all user reviews submitted in the last 30 days are positive.
Reasons for this can be quickly identified: connection and matchmaking problems, lags, criticism of the high steel prices, unbalanced heroes, or some simply state that it is a Ubisoft game.
In many games, the recently added reviews are better than the overall ratings, as developers roll out bug fixes and new features after the launch that improve the gaming experience. Once the teething problems are resolved, players are more satisfied with the game.

Tier 3 – Friant: This ship features similar artillery to its predecessor, but for the first time has torpedoes, which with two 3-tube launchers per broadside can cause great devastation up to 6 kilometers!

Tier 7 – Algerie: The Algerie finally receives a gun upgrade from the previous 152mm to thick 203mm. Four double turrets fire at 17.9 kilometers and set enemy ships on fire with HE munitions with a 15 percent chance. The ship is 31 knots fast and again has one triple launcher with the well-known torpedoes.
Tier 8 – Charles Martel: This hefty ship gets three triple turrets with the 203mm guns known from the Algerie. The torpedoes have been reverted back to one double launcher each. The ship moves at a speed of 32.5 knots.
Tier 9 – Saint-Louis: This ship is very similar to its predecessor, but fires at 18.3 kilometers with its three triple guns. It also has triple launchers again.
Tier 10 – Henri IV: The top ship of the French has heavy 240mm guns in three triple turrets. It fires a proud 19.1 kilometers and ignites enemies with a 22 percent chance! It is also arrow-fast, reaching top speeds of 35 knots. The twin torpedo launchers fire the same fish as all French ships since Tier 5.

On the Broken Shore, the new area from Patch 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras” in World of Warcraft, there is a lot for players to do. Every few days, the efforts of the heroes are enough to complete one of the three buildings. In Europe, the decision was made for the Mage Tower, which is active for exactly 3 days before the Legion destroys it again (and the construction of a new building begins).
Only the Mage Tower allows players to tackle the particularly difficult class challenges, which unlock the new skins for artifact weapons!
Currently, many players are still struggling with the challenges, as they are really hard. The problem should decrease as item levels rise. Anyone with less than 900 average item level should avoid the challenge and gather gear first. Each challenge consists of a tough fight that tests the player’s skill depending on their specialization.
Some users have already published videos of their successes, which give a first impression. There aren’t yet meaningful guides for all challenges, but the videos provide a good initial impression.
Strategy Tips: The fight takes place in 2 phases. In the first, you must defeat Karam, who relentlessly follows you. He can be slowed and stunned, but he must never reach you! If he does, you will take massive damage – typically, a single hit from him will kill you. Skillful kiting and slowing are essential here.
In the second phase, you fight against Raest. He shoots relatively harmless shadow bolts but also summons a lot of creatures. Powerful area spells are necessary, or “multi-dotting” is required to kill them. He also occasionally summons shadowy hands that cast a spell causing about 3 million damage. Defeat the hands before the spell completes or interrupt them. After a few seconds, Karam re-enters the fight and it starts over.
Strategy Tips: This challenge is a very long healer scenario. Basically, none of your allies can die. In the first phase, an army of the undead must be repelled. If soldiers focus on you (they turn large and red), run away from them quickly. When archers fire a mana arrow at you (indicated by a blue mark), position yourselves so that the arrow hits Commander Jarod or stun the archer. After completing the phase, restore your mana and follow the NPCs (they will be waiting for you).
In this phase, you must destroy several eyes, but one by one! They explode upon death for massive damage. You must prove that you can deal damage effectively as a healer and save your allies under time pressure. You need to heal and dispel injured NPCs. There’s not much else to keep in mind, just that time is running out.
In the final phase, it gets crazy: heal your allies (who are attacking each other) and also the souls that the boss summons. Then “only” the boss and all the souls you couldn’t heal come. Good luck!
Strategy Tips: Individual Val’kyr bring you golden orbs that heal you. Collect them quickly, as they only last for a short time! When the boss summons runes, collect them quickly. If they shrink and completely disappear, each will cause 3 million damage.
The three bosses share their health points, but they have different HP pools – that means some will die faster than others. Once a boss dies, the others gain “super abilities” that need to be countered quickly. Don’t get caught by the whirlwind and counter long, channeled spells that will kill you in a few seconds. Sigryn only needs to be brought down to 20% health for you to win.
Strategy Tips: Defeating the imp mother Agatha is likely to be very tough for most players. In general: all additional minions (imps) must be quickly defeated, as they heal the imp mother or even make her completely immune. Once she shields herself, she channels a spell that will ultimately kill you. Deal enough damage to break the shield and then interrupt her. After a while, flaming spheres will appear, rolling along one-third of the battlefield (left, middle, right) – avoid the spheres at all costs! A touch is typically deadly.
The fight can take a long time, as Agatha will heal herself repeatedly for several million health points. If this still seems impossible to you, work on better gear first and try again in a few weeks.

Strategy Tips: As a tank, your job is to bind all enemies to you, allowing Velen and Kor’vas to survive. But high damage is also necessary to defeat the corresponding enemies quickly enough. The hardest part is finding time to deal direct damage to the boss. It’s best to save your strong AoE abilities when all enemies are gathered, so that the boss also takes damage. Unlike the Necrochasm, the Vex Mythoclast is not tied to any quest. Instead, you need to enter the Glass Chamber and defeat Atheon in the 390 Light Level version.
When you defeat Atheon, there is a chance for him to drop the Vex Mythoclast. Several users confirm that the Challenge Mode is not necessary to obtain the weapon. It can also drop from a “normal” Atheon kill at 390.

The maker of bots for Overwatch and WoW has been sued in court for a payment of over 8.5 million US dollars to Blizzard.
We have reported several times about the Zwickau company Bossland. They produce bots like Honorbuddy, Stormbuddy, Hearthbuddy, and Watchover Tyrant. They specialize in Blizzard. Their products allow players in these games to “cheat” and “bot.”
