PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds contains a rare item that hardly any player knows about. The Ghillie Suit camouflages so well that you practically become invisible.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a whimsical battle royale shooter from modder legend Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene, who has already surpassed competitors like Ark and H1Z1 on Steam. The goal of the game is to be the last one standing from a mass of 100 players, either alone or as a team.
This goal is made significantly easier by a rare and very powerful Ghillie Suit.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds: “Is there a Ghillie Suit in the game?”
Many players are not even aware that such a Ghillie Suit exists in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. This is partly because the suit, covered in grass and foliage, does not just lie around in the open game world. You can only get it as a rare drop from crates that are dropped over the battlefield.
And even if a player has found the Ghillie Suit, its existence often remains unknown. The Ghillie Suit works so well that you can’t recognize it even when you are almost standing in front of it. So if you get shot by camouflaged snipers, you often don’t know where the shot came from and assume it was a long-range firefight. Hardly anyone suspects a grassy death from the bush next door.
PUBG: “The bush shot me!”
You can see how perfect the camouflage of the Ghillie Suit really is in one of the rare clips of the deeds of such grass killers. The player and Reddit user Brokenex just wanted to camp in a house for a round and shoot inattentive teammates from ambush. Just as he got comfortable, a bush right in front of his hiding spot suddenly came to life and shot him.

Even when viewed multiple times, it’s hard to see that this bush is actually a player dressed in the Ghillie Suit. We have embedded a video of the sneaky murder here for you. We wish you good luck in finding such a suit in your next game of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and that your enemies don’t have one.
In For Honor, the Shinobi has been in the game since the start of Season 2. What combos and special attacks does he have up his sleeve? Shinobi Guide.
Since May 16, “Season Pass” holders can play the Shinobi in For Honor. Those without a Season Pass must wait until May 23 and unlock him with 15,000 steel. The Shinobi, along with the Centurion, is one of the first two “new heroes”. Until now, there were 12 characters to choose from, now there are 14.
Shinobi Guide – Information on the new Samurai Assassin
The Shinobi joins the Samurai faction as an assassin, as a rogue. He is the “Ninja”, known from leaks months ago, and has the same classification as the Orochi.
This new hero class is introduced as follows: “The Shinobi are quiet warriors who move gracefully and kill with a finesse that speaks of a lifetime of disciplined training.”
The Shinobi, like all other rogues, has no permanent guard. This means the guard only remains in position for a limited time. Additionally, he has low health points but is fast and agile. Therefore, his attributes are “Mobility” and “Counterattacks”. Be careful not to get hit yourself, and then strike quickly.
For this playstyle, the Shinobi has several cool moves available: After an attack, he can quickly regain distance to the enemy with a backflip. With Shadow Step, he becomes briefly invisible by dodging twice and thanks to an additional sprint stage, he can move particularly fast. However, this consumes stamina.
The weapons of the Shinobi are interesting: He wields two Kusarigama – two sickle-shaped blades attached to a wooden handle and a chain. With this, you can attack from a distance, pull opponents towards you, and incapacitate them for a brief period. But be cautious: the enemy can parry the ranged attacks, causing the Shinobi to fall.

The actions, combos, and special attacks of the Shinobi in For Honor
The Shinobi has extremely many special attacks and combos that you must practice to master the Shinobi. Therefore, this hero has the difficulty rating of “Hard”. He combines deadly melee and ranged attacks.
Note on the button combinations:
R1 stands for Light Attack
R2 for Heavy Attack
Left Stick (L) for Movement (in the respective direction)
Right Stick (R) for Weapon Position
Square for Break Guard
X for Dodge
L3 for Sprint
You can find the combos in the hero menu under “How to Fight” and then “Action List”:
The first four combos are chain attacks, where Blade Rain inflicts damage over time. The Spider Silk Whip is interesting because you charge the Heavy Attack and then activate it to use ranged combat twice.
Charge only works outside of guard mode. It is unblockable and knocks opponents to the ground. Can be interrupted.
Super Sprint: Very fast, but consumes stamina
Grab: You pull the opponent towards you with your blade. If the grab is parried by the opponent, you lose your balance
Blade Rain Variation: Unblockable, inflicts damage over time.
Charged Kick Variation and Grab Kick Variation: You must first surprise the opponent with a kick. Press Square immediately after a parry.
Forward Roll Kick: Unblockable, knocks the opponent back. You pull yourself towards the opponent during the forward roll. Even if the attack misses, you can perform the forward roll.
With the Backflip, you can execute a light or heavy attack or a kick beforehand.
Double Dodge Kick: Unblockable, knocks the opponent back
Teleport Kick and Attack: For this, you need to dodge in the direction of the opponent just before the opponent’s attack hits. This teleports you behind the opponent and causes them to bleed.
Shadow Strike: Parry an attack, perform a light attack, and inflict damage over time on the opponent.

Charge: The heavy attack has two charge levels. The further it is charged, the greater the range.
Charging Limits: Without stamina, you cannot charge. While charging, you can dodge and cancel the charge. If the opponent parries the charged attack, you lose your balance.
Immediately after a Backflip, you can start a ranged attack without needing to charge it.
Tip: Go to the hero menu under “How to Fight” and watch the videos about the Shinobi. There you will see the attacks in motion.
The Gifts of the Shinobi
The Shinobi has 12 different gifts that you can find under “Abilities” in the hero menu. There are four gifts slots, with three options per slot.
Slot 1:
Bounty Hunter: Passive ability – Health and stamina from hero kills
Camouflage: Passive ability – Hidden from HUD, radar, and aim assist
Kiai: Stun nearby opponents with a shout
Slot 2:
Smoke Bomb: Deactivates enemies’ tracking while in the smoke
Star Shower: Throw multiple shurikens in an area in front of you
Revenge Attacks: Passive ability – Attacks fill the revenge gauge
Slot 3:
Sharpened Blade: Attacks inflict additional damage over time
Blizzard’s MOBA game Heroes of the Storm has a new hero from Overwatch: the mech pilot D.Va. She fights as an offensive tank and can kill enemies with an emote from Overwatch.
In Overwatch, D.Va is one of the more unusual heroes. On one hand, she is gigantic in her mech, but on the other hand, she is tiny when the bulky mech is destroyed. And her ultimate ability is to destroy herself. Quite quirky!
Self-Destruct is no longer the ultimate ability of the heroine. Instead, she builds this skill up alongside in the game.
D.Va has two ultimates available. When her mech is destroyed, she is on foot and must earn a new mech by dealing damage. Her ultimate in this form is “Big Shot”. This is a strong skill shot attack that deals damage and fills the bar for the new mech faster.
In mech mode, D.Va has a particularly cool ultimate attack called “Bunny Hop”. In Overwatch, this is just a funny emote. In HotS, however, D.Va jumps up and down while moving and squashes every opponent in the process. Not bad for an emote!
But be careful not to lose the mech too often with D.Va. This gives the opponent 50 percent of the experience they would receive for a complete kill each time.
HotS – New Starter Pack with Goodies and Further Adjustments
In addition to D.Va, a new patch is also coming that changes the map rotation and expands it from six to nine maps. Furthermore, the heroes Alarak, Tyrande, and Dehaka have been adjusted. The nasty Protoss gains more sadism from dead opponents, Tyrande’s healing is cheaper and less powerful, and Dehaka now has more attractive talents.
On May 22, a special starter pack will also be released for HotS, which includes the following goodies:
Nothing is ever perfect at Cortyn. The latest patch of Dead by Daylight causes balance issues and frustration.
As I threatened last week, I’ve taken a bit of a break from too much World of Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm to focus instead on the new patch for Dead by Daylight.
The horror game received a new DLC called “Spark of Madness.” At the same time, there were also many balancing changes. The aim of this update was to weaken particularly powerful perks and slightly improve disliked perks.
I play both killer (when I’m playing alone) and survivor (with friends), so I think I have a fairly neutral view of the whole thing: killers are the losers of these changes. Survivors are still using exactly the same perks as before. For killers, the selection has become smaller as the “teachable perks,” that is, the perks that can be learned from other killers, have been drastically weakened in some cases. This ultimately leads to the “teabagging” of the survivor increasing again. But I have already commented on that.

A second point that really bothers me is the Doctor. I was really looking forward to this killer because he seemed to be a real change from the other crazies. With the new “Madness” mechanic, he causes survivors to see strange things through electric shocks. Sometimes it sounds like the killer is standing right behind you, sometimes you can hear the terror radius swell, and sometimes an illusion of the killer appears right in front of you.
The problem is: All these things only matter to you if you are a complete novice. Any other player will figure out in 5 minutes what is triggered by Madness and will basically not be affected by it anymore.
However, what makes me really dissatisfied is the developers’ decision on how Madness works at its highest level. When a survivor reaches Madness level 3, they can no longer perform 3 actions: heal themselves, repair a generator, and rescue allies from hooks.
That sounds cool in itself, right? The “catch” is: A survivor only reaches Madness level 3 during a chase anyway. So they won’t be repairing generators, rescuing allies from hooks, or healing themselves.
No, I’m not really warming up to the Doctor. From the perspective of both a killer and a survivor player, he is mainly one thing: more boring than expected. Conceptually good, but far behind the expectations in terms of gameplay. He is a “noob slayer” – especially against a team of newcomers, you can quickly stomp them, but those who already have days of experience in the game will laugh at the Doctor as a “free win.”
Meanwhile, in the forum, people are mocking the game developers. “You wanted to ruin the game with the Doctor as announced? Yes, that worked – just the opposite of what was planned.”
I can only hope that the developers will patch a bit soon – sooner rather than later.
But I don’t want to condemn everything either: With “Spark of Madness”, you can have a lot of fun. The new map is creepy and has a completely different atmosphere than the previous maps, and the perks from the killer are cool as they can also be taught to other killers.
Have you tried the new killer or fought against him? What do you think of the Doctor?
The Division has shown Ubisoft that an online game can be very successful if it is regularly supplied with new content through a live service.
Since this is a new brand, we can rule out that the game is a sequel to The Division. Furthermore, the game will not be set in any of the well-known series like Far Cry, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, or Assassin’s Creed. However, we can assume that it will at least be inspired by The Division.
Last year, Ubisoft stated that the new brand will fundamentally be a multiplayer game that also has a strong solo component. From the description, this sounds quite a bit like The Division.
Is it about Avatar?
It could be that the new game is the one that Massive is currently developing with Lightstorm Entertainment and Fox Interactive, which takes place in the universe of James Cameron’s Avatar films. This title was announced earlier this year. Since the development studio Massive is working on it, the developers of The Division, it is quite conceivable that the Avatar game will play similarly.
We still have to wait for solid information
However, it is also possible that Ubisoft is working on another project besides this title. A brand new franchise that has nothing to do with Avatar.
According to Ubisoft, the game will not be released until between April 1, 2018, and March 31, 2019. It is said to be an AAA title. Ubisoft will not reveal more until a later date. Therefore, speculation can now run wild about what this game will be.
Andreas says:
A new brand from Ubisoft that will have a strong multiplayer component but also has a solo part? To me, that means there will probably be a large, open game world. Presumably, there will be some kind of hub, maybe a city where players can meet and from there take on quests that lead to instanced areas, including the wilderness and dungeons. There, you might also be able to go alone, which would explain the solo part.
If it is not the announced Avatar game, then I expect a fantasy setting, as this has not yet been included in Ubisoft’s portfolio. A kind of The Division/Destiny in a fantasy scenario with the option to experience the story alone would certainly be quite appealing.

How has 2017 been so far? What happens next? And what do we have planned at Mein-MMO.de?
The MMO year is only just beginning for many. We look back at the past months, give an outlook on what to expect, and explain what has been happening behind the scenes at Mein-MMO.de over the last few months.
The Editorial Team: Much More Working Hours Now Go into Mein-MMO.de
Leya, our author, has been here for half a year now.
From an outside perspective, not much has changed in the team: No new members have joined, and none have left.
Many More Working Hours for Mein-MMO.de
But that impression is misleading. Internally, a lot has changed. We have significantly increased the working hours dedicated to the website and articles.
Ttime has been promoted from freelance employee to editor. A significant leap for someone whose job interview involved repeatedly shouting “FIFA FIFA”.
Jürgen now works full-time for us. Before, he was taking care of MMOs for GameStar. Now he is exclusively working for us as an author and “field reporter”.
With Ben, we have our own programmer responsible for Mein-MMO.de.
Jürgen loves loot of all kinds.
We have also been able to increase the working hours of freelance employees compared to last year.
Due to the many additional working hours invested in the site, we now have time to:
provide even more extensive and in-depth coverage of the “big titles” – leading to detailed articles on Destiny, even when not much is happening in the game, or thorough coverage of Pokémon GO or FIFA 17
How did we manage this? We spent money in the cash shop to increase Cortyn’s cap with a special item: the magical amulet of increased honorarium.
All of this is only possible because you visit our site, begrudgingly accept that ads are displayed here, recommend us to your friends, discuss our site in games, read and comment on our articles. Thank you!
New Site in Planning
You may have read it in the comments: We are planning a “relaunch” of Mein-MMO.de.
We are setting up a new site that aims to have all the “functions” of the current site but with a better design.
The focus is mainly on technical aspects. Our current site was never designed to handle over 15,000 articles that are read daily by more than 100,000 people.
The technical term for this is “the current theme is bursting at the seams.”
The “new site” is currently being designed. The content will not change. It’s just about the technology and features we want to offer you.
That’s why we’ve recently been asking for your opinion through a survey tool about what features you wish for the new site. The new site is something you, as readers, and we, as authors, can look forward to. However, there is currently no timeline for it.
The Year 2017 So Far
So far, the year has not been particularly exciting from our perspective.
There have been 4 releases that were exciting for us:
We have accompanied all four games, spent hours upon hours in the games, and we have established ourselves as a source of information across all 4 titles.
Mein-MMO.de: Variety Brings Success
What is becoming increasingly important is the “console launch” of games that we cover:
The console ports for TERA, Black Desert, and Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds – which are currently in the pipeline
So far, despite relatively little excitement happening with our “flagship games”, it has been a good year. March and April were strong – our best months since the Pokémon craze in summer 2016. We are especially pleased that we are generating such a wide variety of interest.
We as a site are not dependent on the next patch for WoW or the action picking up in Destiny. The success of our site is not tied to one or just a few games.
The times when a reader rightly said that for Mein-MMO, Destiny is what WoW is for other sites – those times are over. Destiny is still important for us, but we have successfully navigated the “weak phase” in Destiny for almost a year and are stronger than ever. We are proud of that in the editorial office.
The interest of our readers is widely spread. They are curious and interested in much of what is happening in online gaming. This is great and makes us happy. Because we, as authors, want to offer a wide range of topics and not just write about the same games all the time.
We had much success in recent months with something we internally call “Facebook Verticals.” We set up Facebook pages for 4 of our main games:
Destiny 2 – Mein MMO already has over 7000 fans – currently, there’s still stuff on Destiny and Destiny 2 – but long-term it will be 100% Destiny 2 – as one can imagine, the site is doing excellently – primarily managed by Ttime
WoW – Mein MMO – this is Cortyn’s realm with memes and surprisingly many role-playing and lore gags, already has over 2500 fans
Overwatch – Mein MMO – here Cortyn shows her entire social media genius – has around 1400 fans, steadily growing
Every article about the game we write appears on these Facebook pages. Additionally, there are all sorts of memes, surveys, videos, and other things. This is a nice aspect for us and has been well received by the readers.
Maybe there will be even more of these Facebook subpages from us in the future.
MMO Year 2017 is Now Really Starting
For us as a site and for many of you as readers, the gaming year 2017 in the online space is just getting exciting:
On Thursday, we will have the first gameplay of Destiny 2 – this is a big deal for our site, after all, Destiny has been our “main game” for a long time and if something exciting happens since November 2015, we are also excited and looking forward to it
After Xbox One owners have been participating in the technical alpha of Sea of Thieves for quite some time, the start of the PC alpha is finally approaching.
On Saturday, May 20, the first technical alpha for the PC version of the pirate online game will begin. The test will take place from 7 PM to 10 PM British Summer Time, which is 6 PM to 9 PM in our time. However, only those using Windows 10 as their operating system can participate. Additionally, you need to sign up on the official website of the game for the alpha and will be selected with a bit of luck. A total of 1,000 players can participate in this first technical alpha. This number is expected to increase over time.
Auto-detect of PC configurations is the focus
The focus of the test is partly on the system for automatically detecting the systems of PC users. With this “Auto Detect,” the game itself adjusts the optimal settings – which you can, of course, still modify. It is important for the developers to see how the system classifies the participants’ computers into low, medium, high, and Ultra settings. Therefore, the selection of those who can participate in the test also depends on their PC configurations. Both players with less capable PCs and those with high-end computers will be selected.
How good is the control with mouse and keyboard?
Another important point is the control with mouse and keyboard. The developers at Rare are already very eager for the testers’ feedback, based on which the controls will be further optimized. The state of the PC version of Sea of Thieves is in line with that of the Xbox One version, as both versions are being developed in parallel. The team is already teasing further tests, where new features will also find their way into the game.
If you are interested in participating in the first technical alpha of Sea of Thieves, then sign up on the official website and with a bit of luck, you could be among the first PC players to try out the pirate online game.
Ubisoft has confirmed the development of a new game in the “Assassin’s Creed” series, following weeks of rumors about it. This will have a live service similar to Rainbow Six Siege or The Division. Does this hint at MMO components?
With the new Assassin’s Creed, which is rumored to be set in Egypt and to feature a massive open world, a new era is beginning according to a video on Twitter. This indicates that Ubisoft is not only emphasizing that the new title will take place in a period of human history that has not yet been covered by the series.
According to Ubisoft’s CFO Alain Martinez, the game is expected to have a very strong live component. According to the current business report, Ubisoft plans to support the new games long-term with content and updates, viewing the products more as a “Game as a Service”.
More online components for Assassin’s Creed?
This works well, as seen with Rainbow Six Siege. The game is especially popular in the e-sports sector, regularly receiving new maps and additional content, keeping it up to date.
The same applies to the online shooter The Division, which is also provided with regular content updates (or at least was). What Ubisoft is planning with the new Assassin’s Creed is likely aimed in a similar direction.
We will find out what this will look like at the E3 gaming convention. Ubisoft aims to present the title then. If the previous rumors are true and it is a large, open world with RPG elements, then MMO-like features are certainly conceivable. The game is expected to be released by the end of March 2018 at the latest.
Andreas says:
Although Ubisoft has not yet spoken about a multiplayer mode, it is quite conceivable that Assassin’s Creed will move more in this direction. After all, a “Game as a Service” approach makes the most sense for a multiplayer game. This does not mean that Assassin’s Creed will become an MMORPG, but a multiplayer component is certainly plausible.
Co-op missions and a PvP zone are therefore possible, especially considering that the last installment of the series was a classic single-player game. What exactly is meant by the live service for the new Assassin’s Creed will likely be revealed to us at E3.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting a title update to Patch 4.0 – Therefore, the servers for PC, PS4, and Xbox One will be unavailable for two hours.
The next update for Ghost Recon Wildlands is coming for players on all platforms. Today, on May 17th from 11:00 AM, the servers for PC players will be unavailable for about two hours due to Patch 4.0 being implemented. Tomorrow, it will be the console players’ turn to receive their update.
Update: Patch 4.0 is now live – you can find the patch notes below in the article
Ghost Recon Wildlands – Server Down May 17 / May 18
The maintenance of the GRW servers will be divided into two days: Today from 11:00 AM to about 1:00 PM, the servers for PC players will be unavailable. After that, Patch 4.0 should be available on this platform.
Tomorrow (Thursday), from 11:00 AM to about 1:00 PM, the servers for PS4 and Xbox One will be unavailable. After that, players on these platforms should have access to the update. In previous patches, maintenance has been completed earlier than planned in some cases. So consider 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM only as a rough guideline.
The maintenance work only affects the online play of Ghost Recon Wildlands. Anyone who is in an online session at the start of the maintenance will continue to play with three AI allies during the server downtime.
GRW Patch 4.0 – Patch Notes
The developers will release the patch notes only after the update has been implemented. Players hope for bug fixes related to homing missiles. When flying in a plane or helicopter, homing missiles are announced with an alarm. Currently, there is a bug where the alarm often does not stop.
Additionally, players are hoping for finally corrected vehicle spawns. Currently, when requesting a vehicle from the rebels, one has to expect “interesting” spawn locations. An example of this can be seen in the following screenshot
Source: Reddit OfficialGoneZero
Update: Patch 4.0 is now live and is about 7.2 GB on PC. The patch for consoles tomorrow is about 9 GB.
The patch is said to have greatly benefited from player feedback and brought several quality-of-life changes to the game. Players will now be revived at the start point of the mission and not at a random location on the map. Additionally, there is now a short window of time in which you can eliminate alerted enemies to prevent an undercover mission from failing.
Some of the changes listed in the Patch 4.0 patch notes were already included in Patch 3.5. These changes are now fully available across all platforms in the new patch.
In the following patch notes, you will find under the category “World” a note that might refer to the Yeti.
Ghost Recon Wildlands – Patch 4.0 Patch Notes

Blizzard has finally revealed when Season 4 of Overwatch will come to an end. Only a few days remain.
For a long time, there was speculation about how much longer the current season of Overwatch would last. Many had already suspected that Season 4 would end yesterday (May 16, 2017), but the game is still actively being played. In the official forum, some users therefore asked the question of what a specific date looks like.
Season 4 ends on May 29
Scott Mercer from the development team commented on this and explained that Season 4 will end on May 29, 2017.
As a reward, depending on the rank achieved, a large number of Competitive Points will be granted, which can be used to unlock golden weapons as a cosmetic item. The following number of Competitive Points is available for the various ranks:
Bronze (1-1499) – 100 Competitive Points
Silver (1500-1999) – 200 Competitive Points
Gold (2000-2499) – 400 Competitive Points
Platinum (2500-2999) – 800 Competitive Points
Diamond (3000-3499) – 1200 Competitive Points
Master (3500-3999) – 2000 Competitive Points
Grandmaster (4000+) – 3000 Competitive Points
A single golden weapon costs exactly 3,000 Competitive Points.
Typically, a season of Overwatch lasts about 3 months, with a small period in between where ranked play is not possible (“Off-Season”). With the start of the next season, the skill rating and thus the rank must be earned again.
When does Overwatch Season 5 start?
There is not yet a specific date for the start of the next season. However, since Scott Mercer has revealed that the wait will be significantly shorter this time, many fans assume that Season 5 of Overwatch will begin on June 1, 2017.
By the way: In a future patch, Blizzard plans to introduce a timer that clearly indicates how much longer a season will last, so that these constant inquiries can be eliminated.
For Destiny 2, a lot of merchandise items are coming to the market. Among them: Funko Pop!s.
There will be numerous fan items for Destiny 2. As Activision reports, partnerships with various companies for Destiny 2 have been expanded: Several brands will now produce licensed “Real-World Loot Items” for Destiny fans. This means: You will get a ton of stuff to collect.
Collectible Figures and PC Accessories
Funko will release collectible figures in August: The “Destiny Pop!s”. Known characters from Destiny will receive a Pop vinyl figure with a big head, such as Cayde-6, Lord Shaxx, Ikora Rey, Commander Zavala, and raid bosses like Oryx. Xur and Atheon are available only at GameStop, and a glowing Crota figure is available only at “Target”.
Images of these figures have already been released:
Bungie tweeted that many of these figures will soon be seen on the desks in their studio.
In addition to Funko, there is also a partnership with Razer. The MMO shooter comes to PC for the first time with Destiny 2, which is why Activision and Bungie are taking the opportunity to release Razer PC accessories. These products will be listed:
Razer Ornata Chroma – Keyboard
Razer ManO’ War Tournament Edition – Headset
Razer DeathAdder Elite – Mouse
Razer Goliathus Speed – Mousepad
Other licensed partnerships with Bungie and Activision are with BioWorld, KontrolFreek (thumbsticks for controllers), Insight Editions, Mattel MEGA Construx (there was a significant leak regarding Destiny 2 in early 2017), McFarlane Toys (these figures have already been introduced), Think Geek (caps that we have also introduced and potentially leaked the focuses from Destiny 2), ThreeA, and RockLove.
According to Activision, the merchandising program for Destiny 2 will continue to grow, the franchise will evolve, and fans will find exciting expansions of the universe beyond the console or PC.
Destiny 2 will be released on September 8, 2017, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Are such merchandise items something for you, or is the main game enough for you?
Final sprint in the Nexus Challenge! A total of 20 loot boxes are waiting for Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch.
Currently, the “Nexus Challenge 2.0” is taking place in Heroes of the Storm. This is a cross-promotion between the two games Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch. Those who are persuaded to play a few rounds of HotS with friends will receive plenty of goodies in both Overwatch and Blizzard’s MOBA.
As of this morning (May 17, 2017), the last week of the event has started and therefore the largest of all rewards is accessible: 10 loot boxes each in Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm! This requires completing quest number 4.
By the way, the loot boxes in both games are “regular” loot boxes, not special event crates.

The last quest requires players – as in the previous tasks – to complete a total of 5 matches in Heroes of the Storm together with at least one friend from the friends list.
However, those who are just starting now will face a small “catch in the deal”. To complete the final mission, the previous quests must also be completed. This can still be done retroactively (i.e. now!). Those who have not played any HotS yet must therefore complete a total of 20 matches.
Those who are still undecided should not let too much time pass. The Nexus Challenge 2.0 only lasts until May 22 inclusive. After that, the quests will disappear and the rewards will not be accessible for the foreseeable future.
The Warcraft novel author Christie Golden is now officially working at Blizzard. Is she working on stories for Overwatch or even Warcraft 4?
Anyone who follows the stories surrounding World of Warcraft offline will surely have come across author Christie Golden. She is the author of a total of 10 Warcraft novels (including “Arthas – Rise of the Lich King” and “Thrall – Twilight of the Dragons”) and is celebrated by fans for her sometimes somewhat “harder” portrayal of the Warcraft universe.
On Twitter, the author announced that she has received a permanent job at Blizzard but cannot yet reveal exactly what she does there.

Originally, the tweet also stated that she was working at Blizzard “continuously until the end of October,” but that note has since been removed.
It seems clear, however, that this time it is not “just a book” that will come from her work. Because for that, a permanent position at Blizzard would not have been necessary, and such an announcement was never made for older novels in the past.
There is a lot of speculation on Twitter and Reddit. While some fans hope that she is writing the story for a possible “Warcraft 4,” others believe that she will be working on more story content for the Overwatch universe. Some think that Blizzard is now working on a story campaign for Overwatch. Still others believe that she is involved in the script for the (possible) second Warcraft movie.
What Golden is really working on, we will likely only find out in a few months – probably not until the next BlizzCon in November.
Christie Golden is regarded by fans as one of the “better” authors of the Warcraft works. In addition, she has also written stories for StarCraft. She has also contributed numerous novels to other prominent sci-fi worlds, such as Star Wars and Star Trek: Voyager.

There are general stability optimizations in FIFA 17
The last update for FIFA 17 was a while ago. It was released in mid-March 2017 and brought some changes to the “Ultimate Team” mode.
This time, there are no changes to the player experience. But more stability is always welcome.
Ubisoft announced today “The Crew 2” as the sequel to its predecessor from 2014. Racing game fans can look forward to a new installment of the open-world racer.
During the announcement of the financial results, Ubisoft presented further information that particularly excites fans of fast cars and an open game world can. The racing game “The Crew” gets a sequel with “The Crew 2.” It is expected to be released by March 2018. Unfortunately, Ubisoft has not yet provided a specific release date.
The Crew 2 – Release by March 2018
In the current financial year, which runs until the end of March 2018, three additional titles are slated for release, which Ubisoft has now announced: A new installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, Far Cry 5, and The Crew 2.
The Crew 2 is expected to be an open-world racing game like its predecessor, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration. The first part was well received by fans, although there were some criticisms. Many players found the story unsatisfactory, and bugs regularly caused frustration. Will the new installment do better?
With other games like Project Cars 2, Need for Speed, Gran Turismo Sport, or Forza Motorsport 7 the second installment of The Crew will have tough competition. Whether the game can hold its own, we hope to find out during the E3 fair. Because many details about The Crew 2 have not been revealed yet. In the forum, the developers only showed the game’s logo.
Fans now hope that during E3 2017 there will be more information and possibly images or videos of the game.

In For Honor, the Centurion was introduced as a new hero with Season 2. We present his combos and skills. Centurion Guide.
Since May 16, the second season in For Honor is running. This introduced the new characters Shinobi and Centurion. Those who own the Season Pass can play and level both heroes directly. Those who do not have a Season Pass can unlock Shinobi and Centurion starting from May 23 for 15,000 Steel each.
Centurion Guide – Information about the new hybrid of the knights
The Centurion (Centurion) joins the knight faction as a hybrid. Thus, he holds the same classification as the Lawbringer.
When you log in to For Honor after the Update 1.07, the Centurion is introduced to you as follows: “For the Centurion, the battlefield resembles a chessboard. Every warrior assumes a role; sometimes sacrifices are necessary. This is the nature of war. And the Centurion celebrates it.”
The Centurion fights with the Gladius – a fast short sword with which he inflicts medium damage. It is effective at close range, which is why the Centurion is classified as a melee fighter. In addition, he is characterized by a variety of attack combos that we will introduce in more detail in this article.
However, the Centurion does not only slay enemies on the battlefield with the blade of his sword: He can also attack enemies with a powerful kick that cannot be blocked or strike opponents with the hilt of his sword. Furthermore, the Centurion possesses the “Imperial Power” – a devastating sword thrust that you can execute after two successful hits.

The actions, combos, and special attacks of the Centurion in For Honor
For the Centurion, as with all other heroes: Knowledge is power! You must first know and practice all special combos and special attacks to master the Centurion. As these are quite complicated, the Centurion has the difficulty “Hard”.
Note on key combinations:
R1 stands for Light Attack
R2 for Heavy Attack
Left Stick (L) for Movement (in the respective direction)
Right Stick (R) for Weapon Position
Square for Break Guard
X for Dodge
L3 for Sprint
You can find the combos in the hero menu under “How to Fight” and then “Action List”:
You can charge the heavy attack of the Centurion by holding the button for the heavy attack. This gives the attack more range and damage. The three lion combos are chain attacks. During the attacks, you can change your stance.
Wrath of the Eagle Alternative: A jump attack that allows you to close the distance to the enemy.
Legionnaire Kick: An unblockable attack that knocks the enemy back with a kick.
Thrust: Also unblockable. You push the opponent back, regardless of whether you previously inflicted damage or whether the opponent could block the attack. After a thrust, a light attack is guaranteed to hit.
Charged Thrust: Unblockable, the opponent falls to the ground. To do this, hold square a little longer than with the thrust.
Quick Throw: The light attack must connect. You then push the opponent back.
Lion’s Roar: The guard break must be successful for this combo. Then you hit with the hilt up to 3 times on the opponent.
Parry Counter: You must parry at the right moment for this to work.

Recoil Kick: Press square (guard break button) again after a throw to perform a kick that knocks the opponent back and stuns them.
Imperial Power: This is unblockable. Hold the heavy attack to finish a chain with an unblockable attack. Quick throws and kicks can be linked to the Imperial Power. Here, the Centurion grips his Gladius with both hands and thrusts it into the opponent’s abdomen. For example, perform a light attack to the left, then to the right, and then hold the button for the heavy attack.
Lion Set: A charged heavy attack pins the opponent down, allowing you to safely charge the thrust.
Eagle Claws: Press the heavy attack button next to staggering opponents to perform a jump attack.
Combine these special attacks to surprise your enemies.
Tip: Go to the hero menu under “How to Fight” and watch the videos for the Centurion. There you can see the attacks in action.
The Gifts of the Centurion
The Centurion has 12 different gifts that you can select under “Abilities”. Four gift slots are available, with three options per slot. Slot 1:
Grave Robber: Passive ability – health and stamina for killing warriors
Bounty Hunter: Passive ability – health and stamina for hero kills
Haste: Temporarily increases sprint speed
Slot 2:
Encouragement: Allies and you deal more damage; warriors fight harder
Swinger: Passive ability – kicks, strikes, and throws deal damage
March of the Centurion: Gain unlimited stamina for a short time
Slot 3:
Second Wind: Regenerates a portion of health
Pugio: Projectile that deals low damage and briefly pins the opponent
Sharpened Blade: Attacks deal additional low damage over time
Slot 4:
Catapult: Catapult attack that deals heavy damage in the target area
Steadfast Banner: Regenerates health for nearby allies
Phalanx: Grants you and all living team members a shield
By the way: The Centurion has brutal executions ready. Here you can see them in the video:

In World of Tanks, a well-known streamer died during a live stream in February. The cause of death is now known. The 35-year-old died of a fentanyl overdose, a dangerous opioid.
The 35-year-old Brian Vigneault, known in the World of Tanks gaming community as “PoShYbRiD”, died on February 19 during a charity stream. He was playing World of Tanks live. We reported on this at the time.
It was a “streaming marathon” that lasted for many hours. Vigneault died after 22 hours during a cigarette break. He had already done other “marathon” streams for a good cause that week.
It was drugs – 50 times stronger than heroin
Now the cause of death is known. The online edition of the local newspaper from Virginia Beach, “Southside Daily”, quotes the coroner. Vigneault died of a fentanyl overdose.
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid used as a painkiller. However, it is also abused as a drug.
The newspaper quotes a health expert. According to her, fentanyl is 100 times stronger than morphine and 50 times stronger than heroin. Fentanyl is a trendy drug in the area and “on the rise”. According to statistics, drug use in the region has increased tenfold from 2007 to 2016.
Musician Prince reportedly also died of a fentanyl overdose in April 2016.
Marathon streams are the path to success for some Twitch streamers
Among Twitch streamers, “marathon” streaming has established itself as a method to attract as large an audience as possible. Among some streamers, it is considered essential to be live on Twitch for as much of the day as possible and to entertain viewers with a stream. Only in this way do they believe they can reach enough viewers.
Apparently, this pressure drives some streamers to stimulants and drugs. Regular viewers of Vigneault’s stream reported that he appeared to have been looking worse and deteriorating in the days before his death. Vigneault leaves behind three children.
In mid-January, we reported on a popular Destiny streamer who talked about how difficult it is to take enough breaks on Twitch:
