The gameplay reveal of Destiny 2 has confused some. This is not a new game! “Yes, that’s true. But no one expected that,” believes our author Schuhmann. In its distribution model, the Destiny franchise resembles a TV series like Game of Thrones more than a “classic game series.”
During the gameplay reveal of Destiny 2, it was clear to see who has played Destiny for a long time and who has not:
There were those who wanted to see the next step their favorite game is taking.
And there were those who tuned in to experience the game presentation of a significant new AAA title.
A group of them sat there at the end with a blissful grin. The others shrugged and could not understand what the fuss was about. The term “Destiny 1.5” was going around.

Fans in the hall and Youtubers who have followed the shooter for years burst into cheers during the presentation. 400,000 watched on Twitch. On Reddit, the moderators celebrated every detail, every innovation. Changes to individual abilities were noted positively. The fans were happy to see familiar faces. Applause erupted for a weapon that only existed as a phantom in the database in Destiny 1.
What raised only question marks for others: “Who is that guy and why is he blue?”, warmed the hearts of hardcore Destiny fans: There is my boss, Zavala, and he was once just a noob like me!
When gameplay was then shown, neutral viewers rubbed their eyes: Aren’t those the same enemies as in year 1? The same graphics, the same principle? Even the same classes! What is supposed to be new there? Why is this a new game and not an expansion?

Destiny 2 is not a new, innovative game. Destiny 2 does not behave in relation to Destiny in the same way that sequels in a series usually relate to their predecessor, just as Diablo 2 relates to Diablo 1 or even Guild Wars 2 to Guild Wars 1.
Rather, Destiny 2 is like the next season in a successful TV series.
There are some changes to the basic formula, but not much changes: the same actors, the same settings, the same themes.
This was good! I want more of that!
And that is exactly what the fans expected. Because the first part of Destiny felt “unfinished” since Destiny was structured like a TV series, in which the ending was missing. And with series, people always want more.
No one thinks after the first season of Game of Thrones, “Well, that’s enough for me now! I’m glad I watched it. I’m curious about what the producers will do next!” Instead, they say: “That was good! I want more! What happens next? When does it continue?”
No one in Destiny 1 felt: “Now it is over.” The feeling was “That was just the beginning. I want more.”
And that is exactly what Destiny 2 wants to deliver to them.
The distribution model of games like Destiny or The Division, “Games-as-a-service,” resembles that of a TV series rather than that of a film. And that is the logical consequence: A Destiny 2 does not feel like a new movie, but like the new season of a television series.
Path-breaking was already Taken King in 2015
The way Destiny was at release, the game did not work: the formula was flawed. Therefore, the formula was already adjusted with the first expansion “The Taken King” in September 2015. With these changes:
more MMO elements
more story
more quests
more to do.
Bungie has already taken the pioneering step in 2015 and is now continuing down this path with Destiny 2.
No major innovations are coming with Destiny 2, as none are necessary. The game works – and what is not broken does not need to be fixed.
Destiny does not need to reinvent itself
The path of Destiny has been clearly mapped out since 2015; it just needs to be followed now. The problem in the last few years has been that no steps in the right direction have been made. No game content has been introduced. But the direction has been clear.
In gaming, there are some game series that are exhausted and desperately need to reinvent themselves after countless installments. But: Destiny does NOT belong to these game series. Destiny does not need to reinvent itself because no one can no longer stand to see it, but in Destiny, fans have been calling for “more” for 2 years.
And with Destiny 2, these steps are coming; the encore is coming. Fans see this, and they are excited about it. However, some changes are desperately needed in the formula, and they are likely coming.
Changes to the basic formula of gameplay mechanics – but also concerns
It is now interesting to observe how Bungie changes the formula:
But there are currently serious problems with the “technical details.”
Fans are particularly concerned that Bungie has not decided to implement dedicated servers.
Also, the cap of 30 FPS on PS4 and Xbox One in 2017 makes some fans gulp hard.
And that the PC port still has no release date, and is set to come later than the console versions, is a cause for frustration.
Currently, this is a much bigger problem for hardcore fans than the fact that Destiny 2 does not “feel like a new game.”
Bungie now also has to live with the disadvantages of a TV series when it comes to Destiny
However, if Bungie wants to be evaluated like a TV series, they also have to accept the disadvantages of this model.
Even if the new entry works thanks to the reboot character, it will become increasingly difficult to find new players. Bungie will then rely on maintaining the existing player base.
The question is whether Bungie will be able to long-term solve the content poverty after release, and whether they can meaningfully develop Destiny 2 further. To stick to the series analogy: The release of Destiny 2 is just a strong first episode; afterward, good episodes need to follow before one can say: “That was a good season.”
Furthermore, if a season goes wrong and does not work at all, the future of the entire series is endangered.
We have dealt with the principle that Destiny functions like a TV series here:
In The Division, the Agent Highlights for May are known. These agents receive in-game rewards thanks to their creativity.
For a few months now, there has been a new way to obtain Phoenix Credits and Premium Credits: it is called Agent Highlights.
To participate, you must prove your creativity, create fan art, or dress up in cosplay. With a bit of luck, you will then be selected by Massive and receive in-game prizes.
These are the rewards:
Every agent whose art is showcased receives 1000 Phoenix Credits.
Team Favourite: The work that the developer team likes the most is worth 2000 Phoenix Credits and 800 Premium Credits. The Premium Credits are the currency for microtransactions.
Community Favourite: Last month, players could choose a community work for the first time. Massive provided a selection, and now the winner is known. They also receive 2000 Phoenix Credits and 800 Premium Credits.
These are the winners for May 2017
The first work comes from “TheUnburntGirl” and shows a cosplay of Larae Barrett. Also, pay attention to the detailed SHD fingernail:
This fan art is by JerseyGhost:
The Team Favourite was created by SaddamsKnuckles. It is a gallery of images showing Manhattan in black and white:

In For Honor, a tournament and ranking mode is coming to the game. Test phases will take place beforehand.
Ubisoft has released “This Week in For Honor”. It discusses the tournament and ranking mode that was announced months ago as part of the “Year 1” plan. It was stated that it would be released later this year.
Now it is known: The tournaments and ranking matches are coming in the summer. Ubisoft has set this timeline:
In the coming weeks, PTS (Public Test Servers) are expected to go live. These test servers will primarily be used to allow a portion of the community to thoroughly test the upcoming tournaments and ranking matches. Player feedback is crucial.
Following the PTS phase, there will be a beta version of the tournament and ranking mode. Then the entire community can test the new feature.
In August, Season 3 will begin. During this time – as Ubisoft expects – you will not only play with new heroes and new content but also spend a lot of time in tournaments and ranking matches.
Tournaments, Ranking Matches – What is it all about?
Ubisoft has not yet revealed any details on what tournaments and ranking matches will look like in For Honor. Concrete info is expected to follow “soon”.
By the way: While the “Year 1” plan mentions tournaments and ranking matches, it now speaks of only one “tournament/ranking mode”. It remains to be seen what will actually come to the players.
Ranking matches are usually designed for players who want to take the game “seriously” and test their skills rather than just playing a few relaxed rounds online. With victories, they rise in rank. The higher the final rank, the better the rewards are likely to be. This is expected to be similar in For Honor.
More info from “This Week in For Honor”:
On June 1st, new weekly content will be released: things like executions, outfits, or emotes.
Next week, a community workshop will take place at the Montreal Studios. Top players can see what content is planned for Season 3 and provide their feedback.
The new heroes of Season 2 are the Centurion and the Shinobi. You can find information about these heroes in the links.

The MMO shooter Destiny 2 will be released on PC and will support mouse and keyboard. We have the control key mapping for Destiny 2 for you.
It is a sacrilege for some Destiny veterans. On PS4 and Xbox One, some miscreants played Destiny with mouse and keyboard. They used certain assistive devices for that. For many purists, this is “cheating” and frowned upon. Those who want to play this way have no place on consoles; they should better play on PC, it is often said.
Well, the PC version of Destiny 2 is coming, it does not yet have a release date, but we already know many details. This includes the mapping with mouse and keyboard. Gamespot has published this image showing the key mapping.
Classic keyboard layout for Destiny 2
It is quite classic:
Fire with the left mouse button
Aim with the right mouse button
Movement runs over WASD
Jump with the spacebar
Switch between individual weapons in the new weapon system of Destiny 2 using the number keys 1, 2, and 3 – this can also be done using the middle mouse wheel
Q is the grenade (very important)
Super is on F (even more important)
Classes can be activated with V. These are new in Destiny 2
With E, the Guardian strikes in melee
R traditionally reloads the weapon
Shift is for sprinting
And Control is for crouching
Somewhat unusual: The “Interact” key is G; usually, it is often on E
With the arrow keys, 4 emotes can be used
F1 opens the character menu
The Tab key summons the ghost
Whoever says now: That’s nonsense, no intelligent person plays with WASD, I play ESDF – like a real pro: One will be able to completely rearrange the control in Destiny 2.

In the MMO shooter Destiny the Trials of Osiris begin today, on May 26th. Which map will be played?
The Trials, as we know them, will not last too long. When Destiny 2 is released in September 2017, there will be some changes to this weekly PvP event.
There are also rumors that the Trials of Osiris will become the Trials of the Nine. However, this has not been officially confirmed yet. The developers will discuss the new trials in detail at a later time.
Today, the Trials of Osiris will definitely start. They begin at 7 PM and last until the weekly reset on Tuesday. This time, the map Borderlands will be played.
What are the Trials of Osiris?
In the Trials, you engage in PvP battles in the “Elimination” mode. You compete in teams of three and try to fill your scorecard with victories. If the opposing team is completely defeated, you win a round. Fallen team members can be revived. Here, not only strong equipment counts, but also communication among the Guardians. A good knowledge of the map is advantageous.
With 5 and 7 victories, there are random rewards from the pool of Osiris. Additionally, you should keep an eye on Brother Vance’s bounties for extra rewards. If you’re in top form, you can reach Mercury with a “flawless” ticket and loot the chest with the fine loot there.
There is a leak regarding PS Plus (PlayStation Plus). These are supposed to be the free games for June 2017.
On the first Tuesday of the new month, the free games for PS Plus, included in the subscription for the online service, are released. The games are usually announced the Wednesday before. Since the first Tuesday in June 2017 falls on June 6th, the official reveal will happen relatively late: on May 31st.
But fans won’t have to wait that long: Because apparently, the free games for June are already known. The official Twitter account of PlayStation Turkey posted a picture that shows two games for the PS4. The reference to PlayStation Plus is also clearly visible.
Accordingly, these games are coming to the “PS Plus” members in June:
Killing Floor 2: In this game, you fight alone or cooperatively against zombies, known as Zeds. It is a horror FPS. Here you can see a trailer for it. But beware: It rains blood and chunks of flesh:

The remaining games for PS3 and PS Vita that are included in the monthly game lineup are not yet known.
Keep in mind that an official confirmation is still pending. The Twitter account removed this post, but screenshots were taken in time. The leak seems very credible.
What are the free games for PS Plus?
Once a month, “PS Plus” members receive a delivery of free games that they can download from the PlayStation Store and add to their library. This game lineup is included in the subscription for the online service. PlayStation Plus costs nearly 50 euros per year.
Each month, online gamers on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita eagerly await which games they will receive this time from Sony. The games are often very controversial in the community, as they can never satisfy the taste of all players.
The fantasy MMORPG Black Desert could drive its fans into a grinding frenzy with an event. The winner of a level contest stands to win a gaming PC. The competition has no limits and an “open end”: The player with the highest Striker wins at the end. This could lead players to overdo it and jeopardize their health.
Leveling in Black Desert is hardcore. The game has no level hard cap; it just keeps getting harder. The preferred method to farm is grinding. Players stand for hours daily at certain spawns and beat the mobs there to death.
Recently, we reported on a player who has ground for 2000 hours to reach level 62. Only one other player had achieved that height before. Perhaps the two will soon have competition.
Marathon Race: Who wins gets a PC – hopefully no one gets hurt
To make it more exciting, the developers have announced a level-up contest. Whoever has the highest Striker on June 21 will receive an Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop – that is, a PC. It costs just over €1,000.
There are also a whole range of consolation prizes – in addition, there are smaller in-game rewards that everyone gets who reaches certain milestones with their Striker.
This could lead to a month of gaming for some and serious health issues. One can only hope that all participants in this competition try to stay reasonable and stop before health problems arise.
By the way, not everyone is allowed: You must be 18 and reside in certain countries. Switzerland and Germany are among the accepted countries. Austria is not. You can read the full terms of participation here.
The rules of the competition have been changed retroactively. It was previously planned that the first person to reach level 60 with the Striker would win. After players complained: the one who spends the most money on EXP bonuses will win, the rules were changed to “No-Limit – Highest wins”.
Mein MMO believes: Considering the stories of people collapsing dead in front of their computers because they have pushed their bodies to the extreme and haven’t taken breaks, one can only advise against such events.
There are good reasons why most companies do not host such competitions.
If it had been said: Everyone who reaches level 50 or 55 has a chance to win and we draw lots – it would still be tough, but there would be a limit. This kind of “No Limit – Whoever overdoes it the most wins” approach is not good. Hopefully, nothing bad happens.
What do you think of the event?
Here we reported on the one who ground for 2000 hours:
In FIFA 17 FUT, the TOTS of the Bundesliga (Team of the Season of the Bundesliga) is well-known. These players receive special cards in Ultimate Team.
Last weekend, the Bundesliga season 16/17 came to an end. Bayern are champions, followed by RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund. These three teams clearly also managed to convince EA Sports and the FIFA fans, as many players from these clubs are represented in the TOTS of the Bundesliga in FUT 17.
The Team of the Season for the Bundesliga was chosen this year not only by EA Sports but also by the FIFA community. In recent weeks, fans were able to vote for their favorites from a selection of players.
The official TOTS of the Bundesliga is now known in FIFA 17’s “Ultimate Team” mode.
FUT 17 – The Team of the Season of the Bundesliga in Ultimate Team – Buli-TOTS
According to EA Sports and the FIFA player community, these Bundesliga players were the best performers of the past season:
CAM: Marco Fabian – Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany) – Mexico
LM: Raphael Guerreiro – Borussia Dortmund (Germany) – Portugal
ST: Max Kruse – SV Werder Bremen (Germany) – Germany
FW: Lars Stindl – Borussia M’gladbach (Germany) – Germany
These players are available in the packs starting today, May 26 at 7 PM, for one week.
Starting Monday at 7 PM, there is a Pulisic as a bonus Bundesliga TOTS player exclusively to obtain. You need to win a Knockout Tournament of FUT Champions for that.

Ubisoft plans to penalize the dishonorable “Leavers” in For Honor in the near future.
Since the launch of For Honor, rage quitters have been a problem: As soon as a match becomes “hopeless” in the eyes of some players, they leave the game early. They would rather find a new match than tough it out and finish the game honorably.
Such leavers exist in almost all competitive online games, but it is particularly pronounced in For Honor. The reason: Rage quitters get away unpunished.
At least until now. For Ubisoft is introducing penalties for players who leave matches early with the next patch.
Penalties for Leavers in For Honor
During yesterday’s “Warrior’s Den” livestream, this patch was announced. It is expected to arrive “very soon”, possibly already next week for PC and after the certification process for consoles as well.
So far, Ubisoft has not been able to impose penalties for leavers for several reasons. The peer-to-peer infrastructure was too unreliable, meaning many innocent players could have been punished. Although the current system is still far from perfection, it is running significantly more stable than at launch.
Additionally, the technology to identify leavers was lacking. Was the game intentionally terminated or did an error occur? According to Ubisoft, they now have the means to distinguish whether someone is closing the program with “Alt and F4” or if an error is the cause of the connection drop.
Ubisoft has not yet revealed what the penalties will look like.
More information from the stream:
In the future, better options for colorblind players will be introduced
They are working on the “Reflex Guard Bug”
They are addressing some trophies that are not functioning correctly
A ranked mode is coming “soon”
In the meantime, the two new heroes of Season 2 are available to all players. Here you can find detailed information about the Centurion and here about the Shinobi.

This Easter egg shows the friendship between the two Overwatch characters Roadhog and Junkrat.
In Overwatch, the Anniversary Event is currently active to celebrate the game’s first anniversary. As rewards, there are new skins and dance emotes for the characters. With a high five while dancing, the two characters show the friendship that connects them. Well, and both are a little insane too, which connects them even more.
The starter Pokémon from the Johto region, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, can apparently no longer hatch from the 5KM eggs in Pokémon GO.
Until the Easter event, there was no way to obtain the 2nd generation starter monsters from eggs in Pokémon GO. During the egg extravaganza, however, the contents of the eggs changed, allowing Chikorita, Totodile, and Cyndaquil to hatch from them.
The trainers from PokémonGOHub have now investigated and discovered that the three starters are no longer found in the eggs.
What hatches now from 5KM eggs?
During the Easter event, the Pokémon GO developers made changes to the various egg types. Porygon was for example moved from the 5KM category to the 10KM category. In exchange, there was a big surprise in the 5KM eggs with the starter Pokémon of the second generation.
Totodile, Cyndaquil, and also Chikorita have now appeared from the five-kilometer eggs collected during the Eggstravaganza event. But what about eggs collected after the event? Do they still contain the starter Pokémon? This is a question many trainers in the community are asking. The trainers of the PokémonGOHub community have now checked this.
The trainers have hatched many of the relevant 5KM eggs that were collected after the event. They concluded that the starter monsters are no longer in these eggs.
Egg content already determined when picked up
Confusion arose due to the fact that in recent weeks, Totodile, Chikorita, or Cyndaquil hatched from 5KM eggs. However, those were eggs collected during the egg event.
The content of the eggs in Pokémon GO is already determined when you pick up the eggs. So if you receive an egg as a reward from a PokéStop, then the egg already contains the information about which monster will hatch from it – no matter when that happens.
Five-kilometer eggs collected during the Easter event from April 13 to April 20 may still carry the starter monsters as a reward. Eggs in the 5KM category collected before or after the event cannot reward you with these three monsters.
Today’s Mein-MMO is dedicated to the PvP of Destiny 2: the Crucible. All modes are to be played in 4v4 battles. What do you think?
One of the bigger surprises at the Destiny 2 gameplay event was the announcement: All PvP modes in Destiny 2 will be played in 4v4.
I cannot recall any post in the Reddit forum or any comment under our articles where a Guardian wished for a reduction in player count in PvP. There were no signs from Bungie before the gameplay premiere either. Accordingly, the first reactions in the community were quite surprised.
Because it is a radical innovation: It wasn’t said “Hey, we are introducing a new 4v4 mode”, but “Hey, all our PvP modes will be 4v4″. The player count is reduced from 12 to 8 or increased from 6 to 8. Even the Trials will be played in the “4 against 4” format. Why is that?
The Crucible is supposed to become more tactical
The first testers were already able to play the 4v4 mode “Countdown” in Destiny 2. They reported that PvP now feels slower. More tactical. Team play is more important. There are several reasons for this:
A 4v4 is inherently slower and less chaotic than a 6v6
In Countdown mode, a team can revive only four members per round. Every death matters. Therefore, players proceed more carefully.
No tricks for faster movement, like “Skating”, exist anymore
The “Time to Kill” has been increased – It takes longer for a Guardian to fall
The Crucible feels “slowed down”. And that’s precisely the goal, Bungie’s marketing director Eric Osborne tells Eurogamer. When the first internal tests with 4v4 battles were conducted, they reportedly felt very good. Team play and tactics would come much more to the forefront.
But why all modes?
That all sounds nice and well, and 4v4 modes can certainly enrich the Crucible, but many Guardians still ask the question: Why should there be only 4v4? Why not keep a few 6v6 or 3v3 modes? Or even introduce an 8v8 or even larger battles? The trend in the shooter scene, after all, is moving toward “bigger and more players”.
According to Osborne, the focus on 4v4 is an advantage for designers: They can create tailored maps and thus provide a better experience for players.
Last night, we launched a survey on this topic on our “Destiny 2” Facebook page. Hundreds of Guardians have already voted, with the opinions being quite balanced. A slight majority thinks it’s good that all modes are 4v4. In the comments, for example, it is noted: “Yes, 4v4 is good, but there should be alternatives”.
How the 4v4 will ultimately be received in the community will likely only become clear after the launch of Destiny 2.
Still, we now ask you: What is your opinion on this? Maybe with DLCs or events, there will be more modes in the game. But are you happy that there will only be 4v4 at launch?
The numbers for the top games in April 2017 are here. The new shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has generated more revenue digitally on PC than Overwatch and CS:GO. Ghost Recon Wildlands (GRW) is lagging behind – Battlefield 1 and FIFA 17 are performing strongly.
Every month, Superdata releases numbers showing which games are making the most money digitally. There is often little change; the shifts are marginal. The games-as-a-service giants remain quite stuck in their positions, but occasionally there is some movement in the top 10. Like in April 2017.
On PC, World of Tanks and WoW (West) are swapping places. WoW is once again ahead of the tank drivers.
The big winner, however, is PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The shooter earned more on PC in April 2017 than well-known successful games like Overwatch or Counter Strike: Global Offensive. A new entry at rank 7.
Ghost Recon Wildlands and Mass Effect Andromeda are losing heavily
On consoles, Battlefield 1 had an excellent month. The DLC “They Shall not Pass” is also selling well in its second month; it had already generated good revenue for Battlefield 1 in March.
GRW drops from 1 to 5. ME: Andromeda falls out of the top 10 console games; it was at rank 7 in March.
FIFA 17 the top game on PS4/Xbox One – King Football reigns
FIFA 17 is performing strongly on PS4 and Xbox One. The title is growing significantly on the back of Ultimate Team. Rank 1 for the players – and at a point in the lifecycle where many other games are declining. After all, FIFA 17 was released in September 2016 – King Football reigns.
Overwatch is a winner in April on PS4 and Xbox One thanks to the event “The Uprising.” Overwatch is ranked 7 – in March, Overwatch was not in the top 10 console games.
In the mobile games, Hearthstone has fully recovered from the poor February. With the expansion “Journey to Un’Goro” players and revenue have returned.
Here you can compare the current numbers with those from March 2017:

The user reports that he has already been able to see and play a lot of the upcoming free content – and it has been fantastic!
He is full of praise for the developers: You can feel the fingerprints of the community everywhere, Massive has listened and will deliver a fantastic response in Year 2. The “Year 2” reveal stream felt to him like a “kick in the nuts”, but what he has experienced with the ETF is like a warm hug and a good meal.
Following this praise, he asks for ideas and concepts from the community that he could present today, on the last day of the ETF. He wants to know the most important things for the future of The Division.
He does not go into further detail.
What are they actually talking about in the ETF workshops?
Since Tuesday, 12 representatives from the community, the ETF, have been in England to discuss the future of The Division with the developers on site in the Reflections Studios. Theentire Year 2, especially Updates 1.7 and 1.8, is the focus.
Currently, specifics about new features cannot be discussed, but the community manager mattshotcha gives an overview of the ETF topics in the Division forum:
Day 1: First, the ETF members should report what their current biggest issues in The Division are. Then the development team presented plans for Year 2, which will include more than 1.7 and 1.8. The ETF members then provided their first feedback.
Day 2: The ETF was able to play new content and discuss it with the developers. The focus was on the events of Update 1.7, changes to the rogue mechanics in 1.8, gear set changes, underground improvements, and PvP battles.
Day 3: The focus was on the content and new features of 1.8, about which nothing has been publicly known yet. Additionally, global events, an increase in world rank and gear score, as well as improvements to the Survival mode were discussed.
A confirmation that these topics discussed will be coming is definitely not the case.
Today, on the 26th of May, is the last day of the ETF.
Blizzard’s shooter Overwatch is a huge thing on the social network Tumblr. Much revolves around the heroes and unique pairings.
Tumblr is a blogging platform and social network owned by Overwatch. Small stories, many images and drawings revolve around the heroes from Overwatch.
They have evaluated the numbers there now. In the 358 days, something has been done 150,000,000 times with the hashtag #Overwatch on Tumblr. That was the second most important hashtag there overall. No movie, no TV series, and certainly no game can compare to that. The next thing related to video games is Pokémon – lagging in 20th place.
But what’s it often about? Well, about the heroes.
D.Va, Junkrat, Reaper, and Mercy – super popular
The heroes that are most frequently talked about and reblogged there:
Reaper has the most likes and reblogs
Junkrat is the most searched
And Mercy has the most original posts
There are all kinds of statistics there: D.Va is about 8 times more sought after than poor Winston among the tanks. Not many are interested in Orisa. Junkrat is 10 times more exciting than Torbjörn and there have been few submissions regarding Ana over the year.
Who’s with whom? In ships, homosexual pairings dominate
A peculiarity of Overwatch is the so-called “ships” – these are fictional, romantic pairings that fans wish for. Unsurprisingly, homosexual pairings dominate here, but rather gay than lesbian.
With a significant distance, entries for the pairing “McHanzo“, the archer Hanzo and the cowboy McCree in intimate companionship, can be found – this bearded pairing apparently has many fans. Twice as many as the second-placed combo. More than a third of all “ship” postings revolve around McHanzo.
As Kotaku knows, there is a popular series with “fanfiction” about McHanzo titled “Hang the fool.” It extensively deals with the relationship between the two so different men in Overwatch.
In second place is the pairing “Reaper:76“, the old friends and now arch-enemies Reaper and Soldier:76 seem to share more than camaraderie. Then there’s “Pharmercy” in third place. The pairing “Widowtracer” established on porn sites is only in fourth place.
The first heterosexual pairing with “Gency“, that is Genji and Mercy, only comes in at seventh place. Dr. woman is said to be quite crazy about Genji’s backside, as people believe on Tumblr.
The developers of the promising MMORPG Ashes of Creation announce that you can turn into a monster in the game.
Monster attacks in the MMORPG Ashes of Creation occur in various ways. Some monsters simply live in the wild or in dungeons that you explore. However, monsters are also “activated” by your actions. Depending on how far you have developed your “Node” in your gameplay area and in which direction you have done so, this triggers events: It can be a horde of zombies suddenly appearing and attacking a city.
You are partly responsible for encounters with monsters
Epic encounters also occur randomly later in the game. Then a huge dragon or a demon attacks a city. Depending on how developed your Node is, these raids are more intense. Also, depending on what you do in the world and how you influence your Node, the encounters change. Your actions will thus significantly impact how such attacks unfold – and this even in more than one way.
Transform into a monster
In the game, you can obtain so-called monster coins. If you use these, your hero will temporarily transform into a malevolent creature. Then you might walk through the gates of a city as a giant spider demon and attempt to reduce it to rubble. As a monster, you must then fulfill certain objectives. If you succeed, you will receive very special cosmetic items as a reward.
You can see how this works in a new pre-alpha gameplay video. The Kickstarter campaign for the game runs until June 2nd. So far, about 2.46 million dollars have been raised. Ashes of Creation is scheduled to be released at the end of 2018.

We don’t know much about the AAA project yet – a bunch of top people from Blizzard have reportedly moved over in recent months. But we know a bit more about the mobile game: Blizzard’s new mobile game will probably take place in the Warcraft universe.
A new employee for the mobile game must have a passion for Warcraft
They need to have various qualities: They should be good with colors, texture, shape, and timing, be proficient in common programs, be able to self-motivate, have a lot of experience and a keen eye for detail. The usual.
One thing is unusual and gives a hint of what Blizzard is planning: The candidate should passionately know images that stand for the Warcraft brand.
They must know the Warcraft style: “Huge shoulder armor,” martial fights in slow motion, panda bears with alcohol problems.
A lot of potential for a mobile Warcraft
What exactly Blizzard is working on is still unknown. With “Hearthstone,” Blizzard already has a mobile hit.
A successful title like “Marvel Future Fight” could very well feature Warcraft heroes. In this game, also by Netmarble, you can strengthen and develop superheroes and supervillains in many different ways while completing short missions in a click-and-kill style.
This could be done very well with a Warcraft look. You wouldn’t be beating up soldiers of Hydra or the Red Skull as Captain America or Iron Man, but skeletons and Kel’Thuzad. The Warcraft skin would surely make billions.
A Warcraft variant of “Clash of Clans” would also be quite conceivable, which would also rake in a lot of money.
In short: Warcraft + known mobile success formula = cash.
Maybe we will find out at one of the next BlizzCons which way Blizzard will ultimately decide.
Here you can find out more about the mobile title:
