The WoW professional guild Limit is running out of players. The developers have banned too many players due to dubious dealings.
Currently, the race for the First Kill of Kil’Jaeden on Mythic difficulty in the Tomb of Sargeras is still ongoing in World of Warcraft. While Method and Exorsus are battling it out to see who will be the first to bring Kil’jaeden down on the planet Argus, another professional guild is throwing in the towel.
Limit is now sitting back and “enjoying” the race from a spectator’s perspective. The professional guild is no longer getting enough players into the raid to make real progress. The reason is not that the players have lost interest – rather, a large part has been banned.
Banned for Account Sharing and Real Money Services
Many members of Limit have violated the terms of service by carrying other players through raids for real money. They also bought second accounts to be able to progress with multiple characters – account sharing has also been a factor.
Limit was still very much in the lead during the race in the Night Hold.
Some streamers are now complaining that Blizzard is intentionally slowing down certain guilds and favoring others. According to streamer Asmongold, it is an “open secret” that all professional guilds sell raid runs to earn a bit. He finds it unfair that one guild is punished so harshly while others are apparently “let off the hook”.
There is a certain irony in the fact that a guild in ToS (Tomb of Sargeras) cannot raid further because it violated the ToS (Terms of Service) of the game. It seems Limit has indeed reached its limit.

In hardly any game are joy and sorrow so closely intertwined as in the annual installment of the FIFA series. When you dominate an opponent overwhelmingly or score the winning goal in the last minutes of the game, the joy is indescribable. However, the mood can shift dramatically in the next game. A major frustration point is the referee.
Those who have played a few games in FIFA 17 will surely know such situations: You barely touch the opponent and still get a yellow card right away. In the same game, an opponent tackles you brutally from behind, such that in real football, the player would have broken all bones – and for that, there is only a warning. This is not fair, it is a wrong decision, it makes your pulse race.
In an interview with Kicker, Creative Director Matthew Prior talks about the referees in FIFA 18. They are supposed to officiate the game better than in FIFA 17.

PC Bangs are a big deal in Asia
Mein-MMO says: It’s strange when gaming takes place in public like in China.
There, gaming has developed differently than in our context. In the West, there were once the large arcades with slot machines. We have shifted gaming into the players’ homes – we play on home consoles like PlayStation 4 or Xbox One within our own four walls.
In China and South Korea, however, gaming has remained in public. In PC cafés, the so-called PC Bangs, online games are played excessively. PlayStation 4 or Xbox One hardly play a role in Asia. The social life of a generation partially takes place in these PC Bangs, which replace clubs and associations as they are common in the West.
There are interesting considerations as to why this is the case:
Poor hardware at home.
The “One-Child Policy” in China means that siblings are missing at home, and players yearn for company.
Asians simply have fewer problems playing together in public than we do.
Asian developers who come to the West marvel at how our gaming market functions at all without the crucial PC Bangs, so deeply are they rooted in daily life.
In any case, this difference leads to strange situations like this one.

The Elder Scrolls Online

Conclusion: The Elder Scrolls Online excels primarily through its quests. If you want to dive deeper, the trials offer serious high-end content for which your hero must be optimized.
In Destiny 2 the worlds are full of activities. Here is some in-game footage.
A few days ago, IGN released a video in which the heads of Destiny 2, Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy, talked about the idea behind the sequel. There was plenty of fresh footage in which the Sherlocks of the Guardian community discovered many interesting things.
Is this a “Lost Sector”?
For a few seconds, gameplay footage of the new Titan subclass “Sentinel” was visible. However, that’s not all there is to see:
At the bottom left of the screen, there is a note that a cache code has been obtained – a code that can be used to open a hideout. Many in the community are now certain that this scene takes place in a Lost Sector.
Lost Sectors are enemy dungeons in Destiny 2. They are said to contain unique bosses that protect treasures. Luke Smith once described these activities as going in, killing a boss, stealing the key, and then accessing the loot. Now many speculate that a “cache code” is needed to access the loot in a Lost Sector.
A map full of activities
In the IGN video, which we embed at the end of the article, the map of Nessus is briefly presented. Nessus is one of the four worlds in Destiny 2 – a planetoid transformed by the Vex:

The white crosshairs are treasure maps. What these treasure maps entail is not yet known. A few weeks ago, Smith revealed that there will be a new endgame activity called “Flashpoints”. These are said to be weekly missions where there will be plenty to do in specific locations in the worlds – Smith mentioned treasure maps and special monsters that will appear. Presumably, these treasure maps are related to the Flashpoints.
The Adventures are indicated by the symbol of a sword. There are plenty of these on the map. The Adventures are short missions where players can learn more about the “Destiny 2” universe and the characters living within it. The rewards are also directly displayed on the map.
Public Events will also be present in Destiny 2. You will now see directly which event it is and – particularly cool – when the event starts. This way, you won’t be wandering around the planet hoping that an event will begin at some point. The rewards, blue and purple engrams, will also be indicated.
On the map, there are additional symbols that the cursor did not hover over. In the last image, a symbol showing a crown is displayed on the far right, slightly below the middle. In Destiny 1, this sign symbolized the next mission step that needed to be played.
Below the crown symbol is another symbol: a circle with a triangle inside. Several of these can be found on the map. Most likely, these indicate various landing points where you can fast travel.

A dataminer found all sorts of new items in the code of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds that currently do not exist in the game. Among them are a Sci-Fi power armor, camo-patterned hot pants, and even an allegedly poisonous apple!
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, you buy crates with cosmetic items using your in-game currency. So far, the items have been quite rudimentary everyday clothes. Most players looked like they had just been thrown from an office into the merciless survival struggle on a deserted Eastern Bloc island.
But apparently, there are all sorts of cool clothes and items in the game’s code that you have never seen in the game before.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds meets Mad Max and Fallout
Dataminer and Reddit user DevinWatsondug through the files of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and found a number of items that are currently not available in the game. Among them were the following items:
Post-apocalyptic armors and leather jackets that could come straight out of Mad Max or Fallout
Punk clothing
Skins for backpacks and sports bags
A leather coat with a hood
Sexy camo hot pants
A syringe with a mysterious substance
An apple that was stored under “grenades” and is called “Poison Apple”
A complete space power armor!
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – Datamining costumes just placeholders?
The power armor, in terms of style, does not quite fit into PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. According to the dataminer, the space armor is likely just a placeholder as it was found in a test folder. However, the other items might well have a future in the game and could possibly come with a new content update.

In The Division, a powerful Classified Gear set can destroy PvP. However, it needs a buff.
Update 1.7 introduces Classified Gear in The Division . Currently, some of these armor pieces can be tested on the PC-PTS, such as the “Lone Hero” set.
Division expert Skill Up took a closer look at this Classified set and concluded: It can destroy PvP – however, it still needs a buff.
What can the Classified version of “Lone Hero” do?
The classified armor pieces offer two significant advantages:
Each armor piece guarantees higher primary attributes (Firearms, Stamina, Electronics) than your previous gear set items.
If you wear 5 or 6 classified armor pieces, a 5-set bonus or 6-set bonus will become active.
If you have equipped all armor slots with Classified “Lone Hero”, you will receive these bonuses:
2-set bonus: +100% ammunition capacity
3-set bonus: +8% LMG damage and +8% shotgun damage
4-set bonus: Talent – When the weapon is holstered again, it is instantly reloaded.
5-set bonus: +50% ammunition capacity, +8% LMG damage, +8% shotgun damage – These additional 8% damage are enormous!
6-set bonus: When a weapon has only 25% of the magazine left, there is a 50% chance that you will receive the following bonuses when the last bullet of the magazine is fired: The magazine is instantly reloaded, weapon damage is increased by 15%, rate of fire is increased by 25%, but stability and precision are reduced by 15%. These bonuses disappear as soon as you reload or leave the combat.
What does this mean? This 6-set bonus works like this:
You shoot until only 25% of the bullets are left in your magazine.
Then there is a 50% chance that the talent activates. If it activates, this green symbol will be displayed:
Now you know: As soon as the last shot of the magazine is fired, the bonuses listed above will activate. The green symbol alone does not grant you any bonuses. It only indicates that the bonuses will be guaranteed active with the last shot of the magazine.
This talent is especially useful with LMGs.

To get the most out of this set, a special playstyle is necessary. While the increased damage from the 3-set and 5-set bonuses is always active, with the 6-set bonus you need to rely a bit on luck. Especially in PvP, you can also “force” this luck.
Before a “Agent vs. Agent” fight, shoot your magazines empty until the green symbol appears. Now wait until you encounter an enemy agent (the symbol for the upcoming damage boost does not expire). When you meet an enemy, fire the last bullet and you can immediately shoot at him with increased damage and increased rate of fire.
+15% weapon damage and +25% rate of fire are an enormous DPS boost. If you don’t miss all your shots, you have a significant advantage in combat.
In PvE, the 6-set bonus will likely be stronger
In PvE, when you have to face hordes of enemies, it doesn’t make sense to “force” this bonus and shoot aimlessly until the bonus activates. Instead, you will always shoot at the enemies, and when the 6-set bonus becomes active, you will simply have these advantages.
Many users do not like this randomness. They prefer “reliable bonuses”. After all, you have no control over whether the green symbol appears when you reach 25% of the magazine.
Moreover: Especially in comparison to the new Classified Striker set, “Lone Hero” is significantly weaker in PvE. That set offers not only damage boosts but also healing boosts, making it the first choice for solo players. And Massive has already announced that the Classified Gear is supposed to remain strong.
In other words, “Lone Hero” needs a buff to remain competitive in PvE. It cannot compete with the Striker set.
An example of a possible buff: The 6-set bonus could affect the entire team in PvE. However, not in the Dark Zone or in Last Stand.
By the way: This Classified set could finally make high-speed magazines useful. Most users are undoubtedly playing with Extended Magazines. But with this set, it is at least an interesting option to equip high-speed magazines to activate the 6-set bonus faster.
The race for the mythical Firstkill of Kil’jaeden in WoW is on. However, the professional guilds Method and Exorsus are not really interested anymore.
So far, Kil’jaeden, the current final boss of World of Warcraft, has not been defeated on the mythical difficulty in the raid instance “Tomb of Sargeras”. This is also because only two guilds have reached him at all – Method and Exorsus. However, both guilds are not having much fun racing for the Firstkill, as they have some significant complaints.
Both guilds are complaining on Twitter that they do not feel like players in the Tomb of Sargeras, but rather like members of quality assurance. Some abilities and time periods in the Tomb are so absurd that one has to wonder if they were even tested.

They find it particularly annoying that the previous raid, the Night Hold, was almost perfect in terms of tuning and Blizzard responded very quickly to bug reports. Bugs were often fixed within a few hours with a hotfix, allowing for progress. As Exorsus states:

A new VR game from the developer Hibiki allows exactly that. With a VR headset, players can marry the anime girl of their dreams (“waifu”) in LovelyxCation. This includes a complete ceremony with a priest, guests, and of course, the desired wife.

Many complain about the balance of Overwatch . However, Jeff Kaplan is satisfied, even if some heroes are out of line.
Jeff Kaplan is one of the few developers from Blizzard who regularly hangs out in the official Overwatch forum and comments on many topics. Periodically, there is an outcry in the forum that the “current meta” is far too boring and that Blizzard should do something about it.
Kaplan addressed this in a very long post and explained when and why balancing occurs and why it sometimes does not.
In general, Kaplan believes that Overwatch is currently balanced. By this, he means that there are no heroes who are too strong or too weak. However, this does not mean that all heroes are in a perfect situation. A current example is Roadhog. The elimination of the one-shot combo was necessary, but now Roadhog is not in the position where they would like him to be.
Another issue is Mercy’s resurrection. Currently, it’s not fun for anyone, neither for Mercy nor for the opposing team. However, this is not a “game breaker”, so they could take their time here until a solid solution is found.
Furthermore, balance is also heavily dependent on the perception of the players. For example, Symmetra and Torbjörn are considered too good, as their win rates are significantly above average. However, there is no major outcry in the community that Torbjörn and Symmetra need to be nerfed urgently.
The perception of balance is often much more important than the actual balance. This also explains why Symmetra is hardly played, despite her win rate being particularly high.
However, Kaplan is also proud that the team stands by their decisions and defends them sometimes against community protests. For example, after D.Va’s nerf, there was a lot of hatred directed at the developers, and a large part of the players claimed that this character is now “ruined”.
“There were megathreads after megathreads demanding that she be buffed. But we stood by our decision and believed it was good. We did not touch her. And now she is one of the dominant heroes in the current ‘Dive Meta’ – and obviously does not need a buff.”

Information about the summer transfers in FIFA 17
These summer transfer cards are now available in sets. They replace the previous standard cards of the respective players. This means you can no longer pull these players with their old clubs from the packs.
If you own a player who now receives a summer transfer card, nothing happens to your card. It keeps the previous club. If you want a card of the player with the new club, you need to pull it from a set or acquire it on the transfer market.
If a player transfers to a club that is not licensed in FIFA 17, he will disappear from the packs.
You can own both the old and the new card of a player. However, only one can be used in the team.
What advantages do the summer transfers have for me? Since the players have new clubs, fresh combinations are possible to create teams with high chemistry.
Throughout the summer, EA Sports is likely to integrate even more summer transfers into the game.
We conducted an interview with the German Destiny YouTuber Venero TV. We wanted to know from him: What does it feel like to be the most hunted man in the Destiny galaxy?
Bungie regularly puts bounties on players. For a few hours, a player is then a “Bungie Bounty.” They are in the Crucible and continuously sign up for PvP matches.
Whoever participates in matches with this player fights for a special reward, the emblem Sign of Rejection, awarded to the victors.
It is a community stream event. Destiny players gather and want to either take down the player or protect and lead them to victory.

What does it feel like to be the most wanted man in Destiny for a few hours?
First of all, thank you for the opportunity to be interviewed by you.
It was something completely new when people were eager to get you. On normal days, you sometimes receive a message from a player in the lobby saying it was cool to have played with you or that they liked your videos, but this was different. The stream was very full, one thousand or more viewers who were eager: They wanted to know when I would write the next countdown for players in the chat.
There were also many international viewers present, so you could see various languages. The messages flowed so quickly that, to be honest, you couldn’t keep up. Only when the countdown started, did everyone suddenly fall silent: 10 … 9 … 8 … It was magical.
Ingame, it was mostly civilized, except for a few group teabags and message spams to cover the radar; it was a peaceful atmosphere.
Regarding technical things: On which platform did you play? How long did it last? How many did your team lose and win?
It was on PS4. I started streaming at 6 PM. The official bounty started at 7 PM German time. The whole event, where you could win against me, lasted until 9 PM. However, I stayed an extra hour to chat with the community a bit, as the chat became clearer after 9 PM.
The win rate could be described as balanced. Everyone in the lobby gave their best because even the people on my team wanted to win the emblem.
How would you describe your skill level in Destiny’s PvP?
I would classify myself as a “good player”. Like many other good to very good players, I am no longer a regular player in Destiny’s PvP. It has lost its charm over the three years.
The last time I played Osiris was about six months ago. Of course, this also decreases the “skill”. That’s why I’m now more in the lower segment. I simply lack practice.

Do you play better in this situation and make an extra effort? Or are you more under pressure and play worse?
I played significantly worse. There was immense pressure, and you were just too excited to play concentrated. 1400 people watching you is not something you always have. Even as a YouTuber, I had huge stage fright. Eventually, it became a mindless “running into the enemies and shooting”. My head and hands just didn’t want to cooperate. It was an amazing feeling.
The invitation from Bungie came via Twitter
How did Bungie reach out to you? Does an email just land in your inbox or are there contacts?
Cozmo (Community Manager of Destiny) sent me a message on Twitter asking if I would be interested in being the Bungie Bounty. He then asked me which platform I wanted to play on, what day, and at what time. He also asked if I preferred to stream on Twitch or YouTube.
It’s difficult to establish oneself as a German Destiny YouTuber, but it’s possible
You have about 17,400 subscribers and 2.78 million views on your YouTube channel. How long did it take to establish yourself as a YouTuber in Destiny, and was it hard?
Yes, it was not always easy. Bringing something that others don’t have is hard. Back then it was the “How to Flawless” episodes and the Top 5 episodes that didn’t exist in the German Destiny space.

Overall, it was and never is easy when you have Ziro.TV and Nexxos Gaming, two big ships in front of you. Because if they post the same video just one hour earlier, the success of your own video is not as great. But you have to: take ambition and pack lots of patience. I see all of this as healthy competition and do not let envy or the likes guide me.
What are you most looking forward to in Destiny 2?
I am most looking forward to the story. I just hope to catch everything this time, understanding why I do what I do. A beginning and an end.
A final question: In your videos, one could often recognize a “Putin carpet.” What’s the story behind it?
I am originally Russian. And I am often there because part of my family still lives there. One day, I saw the Putin carpet at a bazaar and thought it was a cool idea, as Putin is quite well-known and controversial in Germany. I thought it would be a funny conversation starter that people would like to bring up with me. As you can see, it works quite well. However, I’ve had the carpet for much longer than I have been doing YouTube.

Doomfist can be actively tested on the PTR of Overwatch . However, one “little” detail seems to be missing – his skins.
The latest hero of Overwatch, Doomfist, is currently available for testing on the PTR – at least if you’re playing Blizzard’s hero shooter on PC. On PS4 and Xbox One, however, players are left waiting until the patch finally goes live.
In addition to the hero himself and his abilities, fans are also interested in all his cosmetic upgrades, which will include skins, voicelines, emotes, and other items later on. However, these elements are currently missing from the PTR.
No Doomfist Skins on the PTR, but a golden weapon
Anyone who wants to check out Doomfist in the hero gallery and has taken the effort to download the nearly 10 GB-sized PTR client will find only one thing unlockable: the golden weapon of Doomfist. It looks impressive and comes close to the weapon featured in the first cinematic of Overwatch.
However, data miners have already been diligent and found out that Doomfist will launch with a total of 67 cosmetic items. Moreover, there’s more to come: Since patch 1.13 will also bring the “Summer Games” event, Blizzard has planned for that as well. Doomfist will receive 4 additional items here, one of which will be a thematically appropriate skin.
But who would want to compete against Doomfist in shot put or javelin throw?
There is no specific release date for Doomfist yet. However, theories and speculations suggest that he will join Overwatch on July 25, and the Summer Games 2017 will begin a week later, on August 1. We will report as soon as there are fixed dates.

But who should the champion be? On Reddit, most players lean towards Muzzy, as he has already shone in the preliminary rounds. The same applies to Neirea.
If you prefer to bet on a “fan favorite”, then stick with Kolento, who has made a name for himself in the Hearthstone scene for years, especially for creating the Miracle Rogue.
Also Rdu could be a good choice, as he has already participated in many tournaments.
For the professionals, the tournament is about a lot of money, as a total of $250,000 will be played for, with the 1st place taking home the lion’s share of $60,000 – a substantial sum that can be well planned.

Hearthstone Spring Championship 2017 – Here Are the Winners
Update July 9th, 2:30 PM: The tournament has now been held and is over.
The winner is Hoej. He defeated Cortyn’s favorite Kolento in the final with 3-0. Ant and Neirea also made it to the semifinals. CitizenNappa, Mage, Kuonet, and Rdu reached the quarterfinals.
That means in the “You get packs if you bet on the right champion?” matter:

The online card game Hearthstone has had a problem with the class “Death Knight” for years. Fans wanted to see it in the game, but that would have caused Blizzard a lot of issues. Now, Death Knights are coming to Hearthstone, but not quite. Blizzard elegantly solves an unsolvable problem with Knights of the Frozen Throne.
Hearthstone launched with the nine original classes from World of Warcraft. WoW added the tenth class, the Death Knight, about four years after its release. Therefore, the question has been pressing in Hearthstone for years: “Are they bringing a new class? Will the Death Knight be included at some point?”
Now Blizzard answers, surprisingly innovatively.
Hearthstone: The problem of introducing a new class
Because it wouldn’t be easy to bring a new class to Hearthstone: Blizzard would have to answer many questions:
What hero power would you give the Death Knight?
What “special mechanics” are still available, and what playstyle should the class have?
How does it fit into the balance?
How many cards should the Death Knight get, would Blizzard retroactively give it cards for all expansions? We would have to introduce many cards at once just for one class – the others would feel neglected.
If Blizzard introduces the Death Knight – what about the Monk? And then also the Demon Hunter?
From a design perspective, it’s a cascade of problems. Additionally, Blizzard would have to design and balance not only for nine classes in all future expansions, but for ten – and with the Monk, that would be eleven, and with the Demon Hunter, twelve. Everything would be even more difficult if the floodgates for new classes in Hearthstone were opened.
Elegant solution to the Death Knight problem – Hearthstone: Knights of the Frozen Throne
With the latest expansion “Knights of the Frozen Throne” Blizzard cleverly solves this problem and cuts through the Gordian Knot.
It doesn’t add “a new class”, but the existing new classes receive legendary cards that transform the hero into a “Death Knight” with new hero powers, but no new “basic cards.”
The first hero power of the Hunter Death Knight already fuels the imagination
The first new Death Knight variant is the Hunter Deathstalker Rexxar. With the hero power, he can merge two minions costing up to 5 mana into a “Super-Monster”, which then takes on the attributes, mana costs, and stats of the two “component minions”.
Some specialists are already rubbing their hands at how they can “break” Hearthstone with this. Someone who specializes in this is “Disguised Toast”. He’s already thinking about merging the 1/1 Charger with the Malevolent Hatchling, making it a 4/4 Monster with Charge that mutates on each attack on the opposing hero. Really nasty.
If Blizzard manages to create such an interesting variant for the other heroes as well, one can only congratulate them: an elegantly solved problem.

Like hardly any other game, The Division has faced constant harsh criticism in the past 16 months. Bugs, exploits, and serious balance issues have haunted this shared-world shooter. The developers at Massive have been chasing these problems for over a year – many have now been resolved, but many still remain in the game.
The low point was reached in the summer of 2016: Massive even stated “Our game is not fun”. This led to a major overhaul that eliminated many annoyances and brought meaningful innovations. However, for the past six months, The Division has been struggling with another problem: a content drought.
Not everything is bad in The Division
However, it would be unfair to reduce the game’s past to all these problems. The Division has gained countless fans with its gameplay, setting, and atmosphere, who still remain loyal to the game. Even the biggest critics admit that The Division has enormous potential – even if Massive has left much of it untapped.

The classic! Disable your HUD in the settings, then one player has to count down while the other players hide. Every 30 seconds, the hidden players must fire a short burst. Anyone who is found is out. You can spice up the game with some variants:
The found player can fight back with weapons once they are discovered. The winner of the battle is the (new) seeker. Whoever remains wins.
Each found player switches sides and is now also seeking.

The lobby shooter Warframe is making a transition to an open world, a step towards MMORPG. The huge update “Plains of Eidolon” is akin to an MMO expansion, set to be released in 2017.
Yesterday evening, a sudden flood of information about Warframe appeared. Quite a strange time for something like this, as major announcements usually happen mid-week, not on the weekend.
But: Warframe is something special. Just like Blizzard, they have their own thing going and host their own convention for Warframe, the annual TennoCon. There, they presented the update “Plains of Eidolon” and it is significant.
It frees the Warframes from the ninja action through tight corridors and brings them into the open world.

The update introduces an “Open World” that will be different from the previous levels, as they will be procedurally generated.
The “Plains of Eidolon” will be handcrafted, but with random encounters. The plains will have a day/night cycle. There is a village with NPCs where players can accept quests. The village is called Cetus, and up to 50 players can be there at the same time.
In the “Plains” of the open world, as usual, one to four players will be able to play together.

Open zones – This freedom is meant to keep Warframe fresh
The background to this unusual step is that the developers want to keep Warframe fresh even after four years and not become too complacent. They want to take risks and try something new.
This new approach is called “Landscape”. They are open zones. They will not reach the size of “Open Worlds” as known from other games, but they are still quite large and offer players new freedoms: They can fly over the landscapes, interact with NPCs, and meet new opponents.
Release of Plains of Eidolon: When is it coming out?
We do not yet know the exact release date for Plains of Eidolon. However, it is expected to be released sometime in 2017. So it shouldn’t be too far off. Whether it will be released simultaneously for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, or whether PS4 and “Xbox One” players will have to wait for the open world as usual is still unknown.
