Star Wars Battlefront 2 is currently attracting a lot of attention due to “Pay2Win” accusations. Until tomorrow, October 11, the online shooter can still be played for free in an open beta. Our author Leya will test the open beta live today and see the fun.
Currently, there is a heated “Pay2Win” discussion about Star Wars Battlefront 2.
The beta revealed a loot box system that contains not only cosmetic items:
Inside the boxes, there are items that provide gameplay advantages in matches.
Loot boxes contain Star Cards, which are needed to improve characters and ships.
Star Cards can trigger effects such as invulnerability or a faster fire rate.
The loot boxes can be purchased or earned over time.
Players who buy many boxes have significant advantages over others.
The base game costs around 60 euros for the standard version – fans do not like these loot boxes at all.
The heated discussions and the extension of the free beta test phase are the reason for us to host a live stream. Currently, the online shooter can be tested in an open beta. I, Leya, will dive into some space battles today at 6:00 PM and play Star Wars Battlefront 2 live on PC.

Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood receives a lot of new content with update 4.1 “The Legend Returns”. For example, you can enter the world of Ivalice from FFXII, acquire new houses in Shirogane, and continue the epic Stormblood story.
After the story in the Stormblood expansion ends, not all questions are cleared up. For example, what happens next with the liberated areas and in Ala Mhigo? You won’t have to wait long for answers to these questions, as update 4.1 “The Legend Returns” is finally here and brings more content to Final Fantasy XIV.
The Legend Returns – New raid, new story, new areas, and more housing
After the already massive Stormblood expansion, Square Enix is ramping up with update 4.1 “The Legend Returns”. The following new features are coming in the update:
The main story continues
The notorious Hildibrand is back!
New quests for the Beast Tribes with the Kojin will be introduced
The new housing area Shirogane will be opened; you can move your old apartment there if you wish. Additionally, swimming is now possible on all properties
The dungeon “The Sunken City of Skalla” is coming
In the canals of Uznair, there are now the “Forgotten Canals of Uznair”
The trial “The Hero’s Ballad of Shinryu” is on the agenda
If you like, you can try the alliance raid “Rabanastre”. By the way, you will travel to Ivalice, the world of FFXII
You can form a group with three command members in the new operations and rock dungeons
Also cool: Bards can play instruments directly, note for note
Additionally, many adjustments to classes, bug fixes, and smaller improvements are included. The epic 24vs24 PvP mayhem “Rival Wings” will be released with the later update 4.15 and not in 4.1. We have embedded a fitting trailer for the update here for you. Enjoy!

The new Ghost Recon Wildlands update brings the long-awaited PvP mode Ghost War. What else is changing, we will show you in the patch notes.
With a new title update, Ghost Recon Wildlands resolves some issues in the game. However, the biggest change of the update is the PvP mode “Ghost War,” which will be available after the update. You will encounter each other on eight different maps with twelve classes and let your teams clash there.
We will show you what is changing here.
Update 8 – Patch Notes
Today, on October 10, the maintenance work on the “Ghost Recon Wildlands” servers began. From this evening around 7:00 PM, the patch should then be available for console players on PS4 and Xbox One. From October 12, the patch will be available for PC players.
On consoles, the update is about 11 GB large. PC players on Steam will download 4.7 GB – the UPlay variant is 9.5 GB large.
Many bug fixes and improvements have been made to Ghost Recon Wildlands with this update. For example, connectivity issues in the campaign have been addressed. To resolve frequent connection problems, the GRW network has now been reinforced with relay servers. These servers are also available for the PvP mode Ghost War.
The relay servers transport network packets between players that do not have a stable peer-to-peer connection. The servers are located in many different places to allow for fast packet exchange.
Here we include the official patch notes for the 8th title update:
Operations / Story
– Correction of a bug in “El Cardinal” where the player could not restart freely after failing the operation.
User Interface
– Correction of a bug where a “NEW” tag appeared on gear even if no newly unlocked items were present.
– Correction of a bug where the “Rocket Incoming” warning was displayed too late.
– Correction of some cases where earned prestige points were not displayed on the screen.
COOP
– Correction of a bug where a player was not kicked from the lobby when the command was given by multiple players.
– Establishment of relay servers for better connections between players
Gameplay
– Correction of a bug where a player shooting from the trunk of a vehicle could lose control of their character.
– Improvement of the helicopter landing animation.
Stability
– Correction of a bug where users of the Norton antivirus software had issues starting the game.
NARCO ROAD
– Correction of a bug in “El Invisible” where the failed operation screen did not appear and the operation became unplayable.
PC
– Correction of mouse input accuracy for the new helicopter control scheme. We have implemented mouse acceleration that decreases as the helicopter gains speed and slows down when the player is driving, as the previous implementation lost its angular velocity too quickly.
– Correction of a bug where the car doors always appeared closed when using NVidia Ansel.
Ghost War Release
In addition to the many improvements and corrections, the patch brings the free PvP update “Ghost War” to the game. A tactical experience where two four-player teams compete against each other. Console players can already start this mode on October 10, after the maintenance work ends. PC players will have to wait for the maintenance work on October 12.
At launch, Ghost War offers you a choice from 12 different classes and 8 maps. A clever combination of team, tactics, and classes can lead you to victory.

Fans of Warlock in Hearthstone can look forward to a Gnome as a hero. At least if they like to travel far.
In Hearthstone, the number of heroes is increasing again. No, there is no new class, but finally a fresh skin for an existing class. Warlocks have had to settle for Orc Gul’dan, who is by no means liked by all players. Those who want to do without it will soon get a squeaky, gnomish alternative: Nemsy Nimmertot (Nemsy Necrofizzle)
The Gnome has already appeared in some artworks, as she has fished the Swamp Ruiner and the Swamp Strider. Other than that, little is known about Nemsy.
However, unlocking her requires a bit more real effort than with other hero skins. Nemsy Nimmertot can be unlocked starting on October 17 during Fireside Gatherings. These are small events in the real world where players meet casually to play a few games of Hearthstone and chat comfortably.
Nemsy – Exclusive for “City Players”?
Especially in Germany, people might only be moderately happy about this hero. The Fireside Gatherings are sparse, but slowly but surely the list of potential events is filling up. Anyone wishing to attend one will likely find an opportunity in the larger cities of the country. Players in rural areas, on the other hand, may have a hard time locating a Fireside Gathering nearby. You can view all registered Gatherings on this page: Link to the Fireside Gatherings in Germany
Those who wish can host their own event, but should take it seriously. For example, a suitable meeting place is expected by Blizzard, such as a bar, café, or assembly hall. Only if the Fireside Gathering is authorized by Blizzard can you obtain the new heroine Nemsy Nimmertot here.
What do you think of this way to unlock a new skin? Is it a cool thing because you have to visit the Gatherings? Or is it precisely for that reason annoying and unreasonable?
Player “Tyler1” once referred to himself as the most toxic LoL player in North America. Riot banned all his accounts but is now showing leniency. The developers want to give Tyler1 a second chance and are reviewing the case again.
The LoL community has had a reputation for being particularly negative for several years. This was underscored by player Tyler1, who made a name for himself in the community as an extremely toxic player. In his streams, he insulted other players and trolled around. His behavior became known, and ultimately the developers took harsh measures: a ban for an indefinite period.
However, Tyler1 has apparently learned from his mistakes and wants to improve. He wants to prove to the League of Legends team that he is no longer the toxic Tyler1 that everyone knows. Now, the developers are reacting and reviewing his case again.
The Story Behind “Tyler1”
Toxic players in online games cast a bad light on the community and diminish the enjoyment of the game for others. By intentionally playing poorly or trolling, one helps the opposing team more than their own.
Tyler1 made a name for himself in the League of Legends community with his trolling, referring to himself as the most toxic player in the North American LoL scene. He streamed his matches, where he insulted other players and freaked out. Tyler1 is considered a good player, is very skilled with the champion “Draven,” and plays in the higher Elo ranges.

This mix intrigued viewers – being on the other side and watching someone deal out punishment while still being able to observe high skill. His stream channel on Twitch.TV quickly became popular and regularly attracted several thousand viewers.
Other streamers didn’t like that, and RiotGames felt pressured to act. After Tyler1 received multiple warnings, they resorted to a harsher measure: an ID ban for an indefinite period. All accounts that are verified to belong to Tyler1 are banned. But now the tide is turning.
Second Chance – Accounts Will Be Reviewed
Despite his LoL ban, Tyler1 repeatedly created new accounts where he played League of Legends. He mostly did this while streaming. Viewers saw this, reported it to RiotGames, and they banned Tyler1’s new account. This game of cat and mouse went on for several months.
In between, Tyler1 played other games but continually tried to maintain an account in LoL. But the bans kept coming.
Now there’s a new opportunity for the player, who claims to have significantly improved his behavior. Tyler1 says he is no longer the toxic player who was banned from League of Legends. He supposedly knows how to behave now and has emphasized this repeatedly in his streams. He finally got the chance to prove it. Riot allowed him to create LoL accounts again.
Employees from RiotGames will investigate the accounts Tyler1 played on in the last month. If these are “clean,” meaning they show no violations that would justify a ban, Tyler1 may officially play and stream League of Legends again starting January 2018.

In the coming days, RiotGames will provide a clear explanation of what changes are being made to ID bans, like that of Tyler1. There are now many questions that the team wants to answer.
In Destiny 2, Lord Saladin brings some Iron Banner weapons. Let’s take a look at all of them!
The first Iron Banner in Destiny 2 has started! For the first time, Lord Saladin enters the new tower, takes his place on the building of the gunsmith, and greets you to put you to the test: The Iron Banner.
The Iron Banner is a monthly PvP event where you fight in 4v4 matches for glory and honor and for Iron Banner-specific loot. After each match, you earn Iron Banner tokens that you can exchange with Lord Saladin. For 20 tokens, you receive an “Iron Engram”.
These Iron Engrams can contain the following items:
Class-specific Iron Banner armor pieces
Shaders (Iron Battalion and Iron Wolf) that color the gear gold-silver
“Additional rewards,” like legendary shards, armor pieces, and weapons
and: special Iron Banner weapons!
Now, let’s take a closer look at these Iron Banner weapons. What guns are there and what perks do they have?
By the way: All Iron Banner weapons are of the “Legendary” quality level.
All Power Weapons from the Iron Banner in Destiny 2
Let’s start with the power weapons. Two are known.
The Wise Rebuke – Fusion Rifle
Each Iron Banner weapon was crafted in honor of an Iron Lord. The Wise Rebuke is a fusion rifle that was forged in honor of Skorri. It deals Arc damage, has a charge time of 900, and a magazine size of 5. Its impact is maximum.
These are the perks:
Piercing Shell: Slow fire and high damage. This weapon is more precise when it is still and the sight is used.
All Aboard: When you switch to this weapon, the charge time is temporarily reduced, and handling speed is increased
The sight selection:
Clean Shot OV: Short zoom, increased weapon handling speed, increased range
Red Dot 2 MOA: Short zoom, increased weapon handling speed, increased range
Red Dot Micro: Low zoom, increased weapon handling speed, increased range
Choice between the perks:
Fluid Coils: Slow reloading for greater damage
Improved Battery: Increased magazine size
The Fury of the Day – Grenade Launcher
The Fury of the Day is a grenade launcher forged in honor of Radegast. It deals Solar damage. The fire rate is 100, and the magazine size is 7.
The perks:
Precision Casing: Fires a slower projectile that bounces. Hold the trigger to fire and release it to make the projectile explode.
Since ARK Survival Evolved went into full release, it has been unusually quiet around the survival MMO. There have been no major announcements or small statements. The release date of the expansion Aberration is also still pending.
For 2 years, the developers of ARK have been praised for their closeness to the fans and their open communication. Hardly a day went by in the last two years without a tweet from the developers, without a post in the forum, a new video, an interview, or any other sign of life.
There have been minor patches without patch notes or announcements from the developers.
This past week has been one of the worst in ARK’s history regarding severe bugs and server issues like crashes. It has been pure chaos with little communication from the developers.
Rahthos feels that it has been quiet around ARK lately and has heard little from Wildcard.
Later, an official ARK account commented on the updates without patch notes, explaining that these were meant to address server crashes. The ARK official did not address the other points, the silence, or the stillness regarding the expansion.
There is no trace of any report on how many units of ARK were sold after the launch. The studio Wildcard hoped for a significant increase in players with the full release.
However, anyone browsing the communities on Twitter, Reddit, or the official ARK forum will find a lot of complaints about lags, bugs, and poor performance.
There are reports of issues such as crashes, severe lags, or losing a character.
The latest patch notes for PC, PS4, and Xbox One indicate that Wildcard is working on eliminating bugs. However, resolving the bugs is only advancing slowly, and new ones keep appearing. The performance is still largely poor, especially on consoles.
Normally, Wildcard keeps its players informed when new content is delayed. Regarding Aberration, Wildcard is silent about a release date and does not respond to inquiries from the community.
The calm before the storm, shock paralysis, or well-deserved vacation?
For a title the size of ARK Survival Evolved, this silence is unusual.
The positive interpretation: The developers have been under pressure for two years and are now using the post-release phase to relax. The studio has entered a sort of “post-release” vacation phase.
The negative interpretation: The full launch went wrong, and they are in crisis mode to solve the problems or come up with something new.
But perhaps it is also the calm before the storm. Whether there is still a storm coming and what it could bring remains to be seen.
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
Halloween is approaching! This will be an important event for the MMORPG Shroud of the Avatar, as the new decorations are expected to generate significant revenue.
The housing system and the social component of Shroud of the Avatar are key elements of the game. The developers generate revenue from both to continue funding the game’s development. Halloween comes at just the right time, as it provides a great opportunity to introduce new costumes for Halloween parties as well as plenty of spooky decorations for player houses.
C3PO as Investor-exclusive Decoration
In Shroud of the Avatar, mechanical devices play a significant role, as the world is not a purely fantasy realm, but incorporates some steampunk elements. This includes, for example, robots.
With a new golden robot, known as an Automaton, you can decorate your house for Halloween, but only if you participated in the SeedInvest campaign, as the figure is intended to show other players that you have invested not just in the game, but also in the company. This Automaton closely resembles C3PO from Star Wars.
Celebrate Halloween in the Game
In the SotA add-on store, you will find many more Halloween-themed decoration items that you can purchase even if you are not an investor in the SeedInvest campaign. This includes a headless horseman statue for $75, a spooky pumpkin head for $10, and a decorative scythe for $20.
Anyone who wants to further support the developers can participate in the monthly telethon on October 12, which also significantly contributes to the funding of the game.
The MMORPG Shroud of the Avatar is set to release next year. A release date is expected to be announced by the end of this year. Currently, optimization work is still being done on quests, game areas, and fundamental game systems. Furthermore, the developers are already considering the upcoming Episode 2, which will tell a new story on a new continent.
Blizzard casually reveals what new game they are currently working on. Overwatch fans should be quite excited!
Blizzard always has a surprise in store. Just before BlizzCon 2017, they secretly let slip what the game developers have been working on in the background.
A new job listing has revealed that another game in the Overwatch universe is in development.
Although “in development” might be a bit premature. The job listing is for Blizzard’s “Incubation” department – that is the area where new game ideas are primarily conceived and designed. The development of the game is still not far advanced here.
The job listing is looking for a talented student who wants to be a part of Blizzard for the duration of an internship and create assets (textures, objects, etc.) based on concept art to bring the game world to life.
Among the required talents, it is stated that the student must have “knowledge and understanding of the Overwatch universe” – so the penny has probably dropped.
What is the new Overwatch game?
There are no concrete hints yet about what the new Overwatch title could be. However, speculation suggests that Blizzard is looking to expand into the mobile market, as they currently only have Hearthstone on offer. This would also align with earlier announcements that they are keeping an eye on the mobile market.
Overall, it is believed that Blizzard is working on three or more games:
on a “first-person action game” in the Diablo universe/or on another Diablo game
on a mobile MMO strategy game (there were thoughts it could be related to Warcraft)
and probably on another game (which would then run under the Overwatch brand)
What exactly is behind these rumors, we might hear at BlizzCon in a few weeks. However, it is more likely that at least a year will pass before the announcement – as Blizzard likes to take their time with their games.
This also fits with the fact that Blizzard has repeatedly pulled important developers from other games in recent months to work on a new internal project.
Ultimately, some fans also assume that Blizzard is intentionally directing speculation with the Overwatch remark in a false direction, but that is already venturing far into conspiracy theories.
What kind of new Overwatch game would you hope for? A single-player title for PC and console? A mobile game with quick action sequences for the ride on the tram? Or something completely different?
InBlack Desert Online an auction took place where the super-rare mount “Nightmare of Arduanatt” was auctioned for over 21 billion silver in the Korean luxury auction house. The buyer even considers this high price relatively cheap!
In Black Desert Online, a major auction for a special mount took place in the infamous luxury auction house. The “Nightmare of Arduanatt” is a jet-black Pegasus mount that was highly sought after by many players. This noble steed is not available through breeding or loot, but ONLY in the luxury auction house. There, the super-rich of Black Desert bid against each other for special items that cannot be found elsewhere.
Therefore, prices soared to dizzying heights.
Black Flying Steed was still a bargain!
The auction for the black Pegasus ran from September 29 to October 9, 2017. The mount started at a proud price of 5 billion silver. However, it didn’t stay that way for long, as by the last auction day, the price climbed to 16 billion silver.
This remained the case for some time, but in the last minute, the bids came flooding in: First it was 18 billion, then 19, 20, and just before the end 21 billion silver! Thus, the steed went to the player “Meobu”, who still considered the bid cheap. After all, he had grinded a huge amount of silver and would have gone up to 30 billion.
Thus, the luxury auction house once again lived up to its reputation as a money sink (a mechanism to remove money from the game and thus prevent inflation).
Curiously, the black Pegasus mount doesn’t offer anything special compared to the regular Arduanatt mount. The only difference is the jet-black color, which perfectly matches the dark attire of Meobu’s hero.
The luxury auction house currently exists only in Korea and has only been open for a few weeks. Maybe one day it will open its doors in the EU/US version of Black Desert.

Fortnite has hit a nerve with its PvP mode Battle Royale. The fun and colorful mayhem, together with the engaging PvE mode, leads to impressive numbers. Over 500,000 players are playing Fortnite simultaneously. However, the anti-cheat software is unjustly banning players.
Fortnite in PvE mode was already an unexpectedly huge success, which even the developer Epic Games could not predict. And the recently introduced Battle Royale mode, inspired by PUBG, is now also bringing significant player numbers! Epic Games must have been quite surprised when the latest numbers of concurrent players were revealed.
Over half a million players, Fortnite closes the gap to PUBG
According to the latest numbers, 525,000 players were playing Fortnite simultaneously. The big player in the genre, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), meanwhile has a staggering 1.96 million concurrent gamers. Nevertheless, the success of Fortnite is remarkable, as it is visited daily by up to 3.7 million people.
The great success of Fortnite has already led to unpleasant disputes with the PUBG company Bluehole, which interestingly is a business partner of Epic. PUBG is using the Unreal Engine 4 developed by Epic.
One reason for the great success of Fortnite is its free availability on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
But not everything is rosy in the colorful land of Fortnite. Recently, numerous cheaters caused unrest, prompting the implementation of an anti-cheat software. However, the anti-cheat watchdog was likely too stringent and has now banned many players who were actually innocent.
The issue seems to be that the anti-cheat program found it totally unfair that one could shoot from a swing in the trailer park. Normally, this is not a problem, but the software made it one and flagged all players who sat on the swing and shot as cheaters. This then led to the bans.
The developers at Epic have identified the issue and are currently working to reinstate all those incorrectly banned players back into the game.

The first Iron Banner in Destiny 2 is live! What are the participation requirements, where is Lord Saladin, and what new PvP map is being introduced?
The oldest event in the Destiny universe, the Iron Banner, has officially started in Destiny 2! This PvP activity was playable during the Destiny beta in the summer of 2014. Now, it returns in revamped form to Destiny 2.
Iron Banner in October – Times and Mode
Here are the key details about the first Iron Banner in Destiny 2:
It has been running since October 10 at 11 AM.
It ends on October 17 at 11 AM.
The game mode is Control.
What’s new in the Iron Banner in Destiny 2?
The Iron Banner remains a monthly PvP event that runs for a week. Lord Saladin comes to the Guardians during this time to serve as the point of contact for the Iron Banner.
These are the changes compared to Destiny 1:
You now fight in 4-player teams against each other – a 4v4 like in all PvP modes in Destiny 2. Previously, the Iron Banner was 6v6.
Power level advantages are disabled.
There are no Iron Banner bounty quests and no ranks – only Iron Banner engrams.
To participate in the Iron Banner, you must have unlocked the Tower. This is the only participation requirement. You can then go to Lord Saladin and start matches through the Iron Banner playlist, which uses “normal” quick play matchmaking.
We will update this article after 11 AM and reveal what to expect at the Iron Banner launch. So here’s the warning: Spoilers ahead!
A new PvP map is coming
With the launch of major events in Destiny 2, Bungie releases new PvP maps. This was the case for the Leviathan raid and the start of Trials of the Nine. With the start of the Iron Banner, a new map is coming:
The map is called “Distant Shore” and is located on Nessus (see also the title image): According to Bungie, this map is introduced along with the Iron Banner. Once the Iron Banner is over, the map will be available in all playlists.
Rewards for the October Iron Banner
In celebration of the Iron Banner, not only is there a new map, but also a lot of new loot for you to snag:
You will receive Iron Banner tokens after each match. If you win, you’ll receive more. You can exchange these for rewards.
Additionally, new weapons are coming! Bungie confirmed this a few days ago. Moreover, some Iron Banner weapons have been found in the databases. We will showcase them throughout the day with images, German names, and perk descriptions in another article.
What else should I know about the Iron Banner?
Bungie gives the pro tip: If Lord Saladin is not in the Tower after 11 AM, you should return to orbit and try again.
For the Iron Banner, you don’t need pre-made teams like in the Trials of the Nine. There is normal matchmaking. If you start the activity solo, team members will be randomly assigned to you.
Lord Saladin is above the gunsmith. Go up the stairs to the right of Banshee-44, there you will find Lord Saladin.
Saladin has two milestones for you:
As a daily milestone, you should complete 3 Iron Banner challenges. Then you will receive a reputation package.
The seasonal milestone is that you should collect ten reputation packages in Season 1. Then there will be a “seasonal reward.” What’s included is unclear.
You will find the Iron Banner playlist in the Crucible overview. It will be displayed below the Trials of the Nine playlist.
In the daily challenges, you should kill 5 opponents in a single life, have a rating of over 1.0 in a match, and capture 5 zones in a match.
Lord Saladin is the announcer in the match.
It seems to be: 5 tokens for a win, 2 tokens for a loss, 2 tokens for a challenge. (But this still needs to be verified). Crucible tokens are also awarded.
The Iron Banner matches count towards the “Call to Arms” milestone.
Are you participating in the first Iron Banner directly?

October 10.: The PTS have started, but there are problems with character import. Massive needs to perform maintenance on the console PTS. The servers are expected to be down for 3 hours. This means that around 1 PM, you should be able to play again.
Finally, it is happening: The public test servers for update 1.8 are starting on PS4 and Xbox One. For weeks, PC agents have been able to test the new content of this update on the PTS. Console players have only been able to watch until now.
Massive has just announced the release date:
On October 10 at 10 AM our time, the PTS will go live on PS4 and Xbox One. So it will start tomorrow, Tuesday.
If you want to start right at launch, you have all night to download the required game data. Because the preload begins today:
The preload for the PTS on PS4 and Xbox One starts on October 9 at 8 PM.
Important information about the console PTS
The PTS for update 1.8 are not accessible to every interested player on consoles. You need access permission:
All console players who have already participated in the PTS for update 1.7 will automatically gain access to the PTS 1.8.

The PTS on PS4 and Xbox One will start directly with phase 2 of the PTS, which is currently live on PC. This has already received some bug fixes.
Does Overwatch need a clan system? Fans say “Yes!” and are developing a very solid concept.
Although Overwatch is a team shooter where cooperation is key and winning a battle is hardly possible without tactical unity, the game supports relatively few social features. While you can add friends to your friends list and create temporary groups, there are no real clans.
This is a shortcoming, as many players find. On Reddit, some players have now devised their own clan system and roughly presented it. The idea has found much support, and even if there is still disagreement over the details, the general concept can certainly convince.
Clan Idea for Overwatch
Starting at level 25, players can join clans. You can actively be in a maximum of 3 clans at the same time. Once you reach level 200, the player can create their own clan and invite up to 20 players.
All clans have their own clan level without a maximum limit. When clan members win matches, they slowly fill up the clan level. A clan’s level requires much more experience than an individual account’s level. However, defeats do not grant clan XP.
When leveling up the clan, there is a special “clan loot box” for each active player in the clan. This special box contains only a single item from a new set of cosmetic items. These include things like “clan banners”, which are waved in the background of the victory image, or special enhancements like backgrounds for the clan page in the game or simply spray logos.
Once a clan has 6 or more members, you can give yourself a small clan tag that is displayed before the player’s name if desired (as in almost all other shooter games).
While many players like the ideas, there is also some rejection. Some players feel that clans should not be rewarded with cosmetic items. Because that would “force” players into clans and undermine the original intent of clans.
What do you think of a clan system? Is it urgently needed in Overwatch? Or can the game – as it has so far – do without such features?
The next hero in Heroes of the Storm is Junkrat from Overwatch. His abilities are simply explosive!
For a few weeks now, it has been known that Junkrat is taking a step out of Overwatch and diving into the Nexus of Heroes of the Storm. In the latest “Spotlight” video, the developers show what Junkrat can do. Most of the abilities are basically taken 1:1 from Overwatch, but a few work differently.
In Heroes of the Storm, Junkrat is a ranged assassin.

Junkrat’s passive ability is Blow Up and works exactly like in Overwatch. When Junkrat dies, he leaves behind some grenades in the immediate vicinity that explode after a short time, dealing high damage.
Grenade Launcher fires a grenade at a target location, which then bounces a few meters further in the direction of fire. When the grenades hit obstacles, they bounce off and continue rolling. The ability has 4 charges, and the cooldown of all charges ends simultaneously.
The Remote Mine also works like in Overwatch. Junkrat places a mine at the target location, which he can detonate by activating his passive ability (D). Enemies hit by the explosion take damage and are thrown in the corresponding cardinal direction. Junkrat is also pushed away from the mine but takes no damage. Only one mine can be active at a time.
The Steel Trap places a trap at the target position that is ready for use after a few seconds. If an enemy steps into the trap, they take slight damage and are immobilized for a few seconds. Only one steel trap can be active at a time.
The first heroic ability is the Kamikaze Tire. Junkrat becomes immobile, and the player gains control of the tire, which moves quickly and can jump over obstacles. Upon pressing a button, the tire detonates and deals increased damage at the center of the explosion. The tire can be destroyed by enemies beforehand.
Junkrat’s second heroic ability is the Ride the Rocket. Junkrat activates a huge rocket over several seconds, which he then rides. While in the air, he can redefine his impact area until time runs out. Then Junkrat lands at the target, dealing damage and activating his passive ability Blow Up. Shortly after, Junkrat respawns at the base (as if he had died) and can quickly return to the battlefield with a temporary rocket mount.
Are you already excited for Junkrat? Or are you already hot for BlizzCon and potential “next” heroes?
Shortly before the launch of the Prestige Raid in Destiny 2, Bungie announces a postponement via tweet. The reason is a glitch in the final boss fight.
However, nothing will come of it today, on October 10th. Because Bungie has now indicated in a tweet that the release of the Prestige Raid will be postponed to Wednesday, October 18th, 2017, at 7 PM German time.

The reason is an unspecified issue that Bungie needs to address. Community Manager Cozmo speaks of an exploit that allows players to bypass the challenge in encounters.
Even though the glitch was found before the weekly update, Bungie has not officially commented on it – until now.
Bungie emphasizes that it wants to crown the “World First” for the Prestige Raid again – that is, to announce the fireteam that can defeat the Prestige Raid first. It should be fair so that there are no doubts about the suitability of the world’s first Guardians who defeat Calus at power level 300.
The reactions from the community are mixed. Many “Guardians” ignore the announcement and continue to elaborate on the “Friendgame instead of Endgame” topic. Other players see two advantages in this. On the one hand, they can fully focus on the Iron Banner this week, and on the other hand, the majority of the community wishes for a flawless gaming experience.
Do you welcome the postponement of the Prestige Raid? Will you use the time to grind the Iron Banner?

If the contents of the test phase do not change unexpectedly, you can choose between the four game modes Galactic Assault, Starfighter Assault, Strike, and Arcade. The first three modes are online multiplayer modes that support up to 40 players (in Galactic). The Arcade mode is designed for one to two players and offers offline split-screen support.
The planet Argus from World of Warcraft 7.3 is not liked by all players – at least statistics paint a bleak picture.
For about 40 days, Patch 7.3 has been active in World of Warcraft and has brought the new world Argus. The home world of the Draenei is quite lively, as the Legion has its greatest seat of power there. But can this really excite all players?
The colleagues from mmo-champion analyzed the data of 1.8 million players who were active last month and came to interesting results.
According to them, far from all players seem to be really interested in Argus in the long term. This can at least be inferred from the density of the achievements earned.
No one wants to kill demons
While around 81% have at least killed 100 demons on Argus (which roughly corresponds to the first set of quests), the curve drops off significantly thereafter. Only half of the players have eliminated more than 500 demons, and nearly 12% defeated 2,000 demons. A proud 5,000 demons on Argus were only defeated by 1.4% of the players, and this despite the cool title “the demon slayer” that is awarded for it.
Just under half of all players have defeated at least 25 different rare enemies on Argus. The achievement for all rare enemies, which is even rewarded with a large amount of weapon appearances, has been achieved by only 4% of the players so far.
Additionally, the Netherlight Crucible doesn’t seem to weigh heavily for all players yet. So far, only nearly 60% have unlocked the Netherlight Crucible, which allows for further enhancements to artifact weapons. The same percentage of players has also only completed the story missions on Argus.
Why Argus is not so popular among many players is difficult to determine definitively. Many players are slowly fed up with the “fel-green demon setting” and lose interest in the first zone of Argus as a result. Others have already concluded with the PvE in Legion and prefer to focus on other areas of play that bring them more enjoyment – such as PvP or role-playing.
Are you among the active players who have skipped a lot on Argus? Can’t the new planet captivate you? Or do you not understand how anyone could have skipped the Netherlight Crucible so far?
