There is currently a curious bug in WoW that might bring a lot of gold to some players. The Legendary Tokens are tradable!
The latest patch of World of Warcraft is live. Update 7.3.2 has brought few changes, such as additional game data for the raid Antorus, the Burning Throne. Additionally, there were some changes to the Legendary system. If a player already has all legendary items with their character, they can still receive additional legendary items.
While there are no duplicate items, there are “Tokens” for another class. These are bound to the account and can then be sent to characters of the corresponding class. At least, that’s the official plan.
Tradable Legendaries in Raids and Groups
However, it seems a bug has crept into the patch. If such a Token is dropped by a boss during a raid or dungeon, the same exchange rules apply to this Token as for regular loot.
In plain terms: The legendary Tokens can be passed to other players in the same raid group for up to 2 hours!
This at least opens the door to trading legendary items, although it is of course difficult to plan when such an item will actually drop.
Whether this is truly a bug or intended to help other players in the raid guild is still unanswered. Since the items were meant to be bound only to the account, we assume this is a bug in the game.
Presumably, the problem will be fixed in a few hours with a hotfix.
Warframe is a fast-paced yet complex game that confuses many newcomers at first. However, the developers have recognized a handful of particularly dedicated players as official “Guides of the Lotus” who will take care of all your questions. You can also meet the Guides in forums or on Discord.
Warframe is most fun when you go hunting with three other Space Ninjas and slice through enemies at a terrifying pace. This way, you can accomplish even tough missions in a flash and face a real challenge with bosses. And the vast world of the Plains of Eidolon is even more fun as a team!
It’s unfortunate when everything doesn’t go well because you have little knowledge of the game and are stuck in starter regions with lousy gear, overwhelmed by the many possibilities of the complex shooter.
Help for Newcomers – The Official “Guides of the Lotus”
Despite its intuitive gameplay, Warframe is a complex game with numerous functions, features, and mechanisms that are unfortunately barely explained.
The developers are also aware of this, and therefore they have launched a cool program. To help new players and to generally provide assistance, there are selected players who are allowed to call themselves “Guides of the Lotus.”
The Guides are particularly accomplished players who have at least 800 hours of Warframe experience and know the game very well. They have official insignias awarded by Digital Extremes on their Warframes and are available when you need help in the game. But where can you meet the Guides and how can you contact them?
You can meet the Guides in the game, but it is more likely that you will encounter them on the large German Discord server for Warframe. There you will find players of all experience levels, people from the German Wiki, and even developers or the German “Guides of the Lotus.”
If you often struggle to find teammates or need help, then feel free to check out the large German Discord Community of Warframe.
They contacted us at Mein MMO and asked: Send people who are looking for help and connection there. We look forward to them!
There you can reach out both in writing and in voice channels and quickly find teammates or answers to your questions. Additionally, Guides and Alerts from the game are also posted there. So if there is particularly cool loot somewhere, you will find out about it there quickly.

Which talents stand out in attack, which are the best talents in midfield, and which in defense? And what hidden gems, what secret talents, are available for under 2 million or even under 1 million?
In the career mode of FIFA 18, there are many new features. Among the most important innovations are the interactive transfer negotiations where you now directly interact with managers and players. You must negotiate contracts, salaries, and transfer fees with a dynamic AI to strategically strengthen your club with fresh talent.
Particularly sought after are the young talents with great potential who can develop into megastars during the career. However, in FIFA 18, there are not only the well-known top talents like Marcus Rashford or Martin Ødegaard, who are pursued by half the world, but also some hidden gems that are cheap to acquire and have a bright future ahead.

The development of talents takes a lot of time. If you rely on young talents, you won’t have an elite team right away but a team with great potential. Only after a few seasons will these young players show what they are really capable of.
If you want, you can then sell them for multiples of the purchase price.
If you are looking for more talents, you can send scouts into the game to look for young players. They will send you reports with interesting talents. Good – and expensive – scouts can better assess potential than cheap scouts. Set specific search criteria like age and grab strong talents at a good price.
You can find top talents in all countries. These countries are particularly well suited for certain positions:
Goalkeepers: Germany, Netherlands, Spain, or Italy
Defenders: England, Brazil, or Germany
Midfielders: Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Brazil, or England
Forwards: Italy, Germany, France, Netherlands, Argentina, Spain, or Brazil
Two more tips:
Scouts are particularly effective in their home country
Don’t strike immediately. The longer the observation period, the fewer “nasty surprises” you will have.
In Destiny 2, there are no public text chats. This seems to be an effort to avoid the well-known spam from MMO games. The community is calling for a different solution.
In MMOs, general chats are often found where everyone can communicate with each other. You don’t have to be in a group for this. Usually, it’s enough to play on the same servers.
These public chats are often used by trolls to spam aimlessly and annoy other players. On the other hand, public chats in multiplayer games are important for communication with other players.
In Destiny 2, there is not even a public text chat. Chatting is done within the fireteam.
First, you can only talk to the fireteam
Bungie consciously opts out of a general text chat. In a statement to PCGamesN, PC Project Lead David Shaw explained that you can only talk to people from the fireteam for now.
“This setting created an unusual MMO feeling for the players,” Shaw explains. “It was now difficult to annoy other players. The worst thing that happened to me was when a player followed me around the tower for 20 minutes. And that was only moderately annoying,”
You must manually join the chat with the fireteam. However, you can set this to “Automatic” in the gameplay options.
Through the text chat, you can also whisper to other players – this is the direct messaging feature in Battlenet. However, this is only possible if those players are in your clan or fireteam or on your friends list.
This is, according to the developers, another way to avoid toxic comments from other players. They can’t reach you without direct contact.
Community dissatisfied – Wants the public chat
From the developers’ perspective, the renouncement of the public text chat is only partially understandable. They want to avoid toxic behavior. However, parts of the community are dissatisfied with the decision. On Reddit, user Bistoory writes:
“You can’t be serious, Bungie? This is an online game and we need to communicate with other players who are not on our friends list or belong to our clan. You make it hard for solo players who don’t have the time or desire for a clan.”
Bistoory suggests that the public channel should be activated but players should have the option to leave it. This way, players at least have a choice and can make their own decision. Additionally, annoying players can still be ignored.
Do you wish for a public text chat for Destiny 2, or is it not that important to you?
EVE Online fans have new tasks to tackle, as CCP Games has released the Lifeblood expansion.
The centerpiece of the expansion are the refineries. These offer you the opportunity to mine resources more effectively. The massive industrial platforms must be constructed like space stations and then grant you expanded options to mine on moons. To do this, you blast large sections out of a moon, creating an asteroid field for your mining fleet to search for resources.
Pirate Attacks and Resource Wars
However, this attracts pirates who see a lucrative business opportunity and will attack you and your refinery. Moreover, it’s not just you who wants to mine the valuable resources, but also other players. This can lead to ongoing conflicts that may escalate into full-blown resource wars. Your cargo ships filled with ore are not safe – neither from other players nor from pirates.
The Lifeblood expansion introduces the following in EVE Online:
Newly balanced frigates, destroyers, and cruisers.
Participation in short-term, cooperative gameplay in resource wars.
The new tool “The Agency” provides an easy scanning option for nearby PvE activities.
Moon mining promotes teamwork among players. Moreover, mining leads to new gameplay variants, including miners or fighters, defenders or attackers.
The sudden emergence of Guristas Shipyards and the new ships Caiman, Loggerhead, and Komodo bring high-level challenges.
Other innovations include mining registers and bets on duels.
The Gameplay Changes
The Lifeblood expansion brings several changes to the MMORPG. On the one hand, mining is now significantly more interesting, as cooperation is actively encouraged. Additionally, trade routes are now less safe due to increased pirate activities, and freighters can be attacked at any time. Furthermore, rival factions are fighting over the resources, which can lead to massive wars, as one often sees in EVE Online.
The extraction of resources can change the power dynamics in the cluster entirely. The goals of individual players are more quickly attainable, and the changes to the industrial system due to resource extraction alter the gameplay. Newcomers get more opportunities from the start, and even established factions can come under pressure if they let control over the new resources slip into the hands of other parties. Players will have to adjust to these changes.

It may surprise you, but: Halloween is just around the corner. To celebrate, for instance, you can dress up as a ghost and throw eggs against house walls, or, even better, compete in a friendly PVP duel in a scare game like here in Hide and Shriek! It has recently become free to play.
Hide and Shriek was released by the developer and publisher Funcom back in Halloween 2016 and has so far received mostly positive user reviews on Steam. No wonder: Funcom has proven its expertise in horror elements with The Secret World.
The fact that Hide and Shriek “just so happens” to take place in the same universe as Secret World Legends is the icing on the cake. So let’s take a closer look at this lesser-known gem.
At night, you sneak through the lonely school as an invisible entity. The goal: to scare your opponent to death in the literal sense. For this purpose, you set traps, use spells, and create jump scares; for example, by positioning yourself in strategically advantageous spots and, preferably adorned with a mask of Donald Trump, jumping out at your opponent or screaming at them.
Of course, you must not be discovered yourself and should collect as many points and runes as possible. At the end of the ten-minute duel, these could be extremely important! The horror trip is particularly fun with a friend, with the curtains drawn and wearing headphones.

Of course, I couldn’t resist and took my first steps into the high school of horror myself. I really like the graphics, and the atmosphere is well conveyed, as long as you’re not talking about unicorns via Teamspeak. Personally, I would wish for more maps for longer-lasting fun. Overall, it’s a really delightful game for the darkening season! And: Finally, I can scare friends from my old home without having to take the train!
At the same time, things are also frightening in Secret World Legends. The Samhain Event is still ongoing until October 31st. If you log in during this time, you have a chance to win cool mounts and other rewards like pets and costumes. Many items are exclusively available only during this time.
This didn’t go well: A few minutes after the PC launch of Destiny 2, the good mood collapsed. Surprising bans kicked players from the game. The community suspects that overlays from Discord, MSI Afterburner, or other software are to blame. But according to Bungie, that cannot be the case.
On October 24 around 7:00 PM German time, the gates to Destiny 2 on PC opened. Now the popular MMO shooter is officially available on the PC platform, and new players are experiencing its atmosphere for the first time.
At least that was the plan for the many players who, unfortunately, can no longer enter the game. They were banned. An anti-cheat measure roughly sorted the gamers. Too roughly? Many feel unjustly banned and are aware of no wrongdoing.
Update: The support page of Battle.net has been updated on this issue. “All account suspensions and restrictions in Destiny 2 are determined and enforced by Bungie and cannot be contested.” It subsequently refers to the Bungie article on policies and account suspensions. You can find it here.
Bans due to Afterburner or Discord? Bungie says ‘Bullshit!’
After many players were banned yesterday following the Destiny 2 launch on PC, they shared their problems on Reddit and in the official Bungie forum. The community’s theory is that players are banned from Destiny 2 because they used game capture software (like OBS) or overlays (like from Discord).
Bungie officially stated back in September that some streaming programs like OBS or XSplit are incompatible with Destiny 2 in their game capture modes. Overlays for voice chats like Mumble or Discord are also blocked. Even FPS and stats displays like through MSI Afterburner or Fraps are not compatible with the game.
These programs are not allowed because they could insert code into the game client. Out of fear of cheating, the overlay functions and hardware monitoring do not work in Destiny 2.
Could this perhaps be the reason for the many bans? Players’ carelessness in having this software activated in the background?
Community is angry!
In the forums, complaints about bans have been increasing since the launch. More and more threads are appearing in which players accuse Bungie of banning them for carelessly using software.
The problem is that there is no reason given in the emails that notify players about their ban. Even Blizzard support has no insight into the ban reason and can only refer to Bungie’s support, as player Shugazer writes in the forum.
In the forum, mentor “Kellogs” addresses the issues and explains that third-party software that is incompatible with Destiny 2 is blocked. This could simply prevent the game from running. However, there should not be a ban for that.
Bungie says ‘That’s Internet Bullshit!’
In response to the question of whether there are still restrictions for overlays after the beta, project lead David Shaw writes on Twitter: We block programs that want to infiltrate our game with their code. That’s how most overlays work. However, we do not issue bans for that. That’s internet bullshit.

If it’s not the overlays or game captures that are causing the bans, then what is? This question is now on the minds of many players in the community.
On Reddit, user Deomicanth writes that he bought a new gaming laptop for Destiny 2. The laptop only had Windows (+ updates), the Battle.net software, and Destiny 2. His ban came five minutes after he created his first character. He received no explanation for the ban in the forum.
We are curious whether there will soon be an official explanation from Bungie regarding these issues. Did the ban hammer catch you too?
Update: There is an official statement from Bungie regarding this story:
In 2017, there was a strange mood among MMORPGs. Although a great future was often invoked, they weren’t playable yet.
The end of MMORPG hopes came in 2014
The big publishers withdrew from MMORPGs. Most players realized this in 2014. In the summer of that year, players realized that Wildstar wouldn’t usher in the MMORPG revival they had hoped for.
And when they rubbed their eyes in disappointment and looked around: What new major MMORPGs are coming? They didn’t see much left.
Up until 2014, there was always “an MMORPG that everyone was waiting for and that was just about to launch and would do everything better” – but that was no longer the case.
Then the bad news followed:
Blizzard’s next-gen MMORPG Titan was canceled.
The eternally ailing Everquest Next had its plug pulled by developers in 2016. But this had been evident for years.
In Europe, MMORPGs survive by no longer being MMORPGs
Since then, in Europe and North America, the big publishers have focused on further developing their existing MMORPGs and releasing new expansions.
And those who struggled sought salvation in being as little MMORPG as possible:
The 2014 poorly launched The Elder Scrolls Online made an impressive recovery. It went all in on RPG and the power of the brand. ESO has now gathered almost everyone on PS4 and Xbox One who has at least glanced at Skyrim. In 2017, they wanted to attract players who loved Morrowind 15 years ago.
A similar direction was taken by Star Wars The Old Republic , focusing entirely on singleplayer and story to connect to the old “Knights of the Old Republic” days.
In Asia, they still build games, but do we like them?
The MMORPG market that still functions somewhat and develops new games lies in Asia. From there, a technically impressive game called Black Desert hit the western market, but it relies on grinding and strange monetization methods that scare many away here.
Currently, there is still no sign of further Asian hits. The industry in Asia has largely adapted to mobile. Games like Lineage 2 Revolution and Lineage M dominate the Asian MMORPG news in 2017.
An action MMORPG like Lost Ark is the biggest beacon of hope for us in the West, but it’s still far away. One gets the impression that for these Asian hits, a port to the West is not very high on the priority list.
Crowdfunding – the temptation of the niche
Here in Europe, wayward MMORPG fans are mainly interested in a handful of niche projects. Games like
Crowfall
Chronicles of Elyria
Pantheon
Ashes of Creation
or Camelot Unchained.
All these games have little money, big dreams, and an enthusiastic core group of fans.
Since they are funded through crowdfunding, it is their specialty to show fans as early as possible how great the games will be.
For many years now, rosy visions have been painted by hardcore games that have learned from the mistakes of the past and want to offer a new, better MMORPG experience.
However, the budgets and teams of these games are so small that many doubt they can realize their grand ambitions. The schedules reflect this – it somehow seems like these games are treading water, pushing their goals further back, remaining in the conceptual phase.
The visions and concepts of the games are shown to fans early on. All these games try to attract a broad audience during the development phase, but then retreat for months and years again and discuss everything further with the small fan base they have managed to win.
With them, they discuss the future, share their visions and ideas. And for they also design monetization models that outsiders have to swallow hard.
But: None of these games are really tangible yet.
Some MMORPG fans program themselves into disappointment
This currently leads to MMORPG fans being trapped in a state of perpetual dreaming: The future seems clear. It appears to be tailored for each fan – every project sounds fantastic and exciting.
Time and again, fans are told how great MMORPGs will one day be, but they won’t really be able to play these games for years.
And the problem: Even when MMORPGs are released, they will likely have the same problems as the MMORPGs before them. The market is heading for another wave of disappointment.
One hopes that these MMORPGs will be a success. But one or another will surely fail. The past has taught us that.
Hori is launching a licensed mouse and keyboard set for Xbox One.PC gaming feel on consoles becomes possible.
It is a commonly accepted truth that especially in shooters, mouse and keyboard control has advantages over analog sticks. Depending on the settings, you can react faster, move quicker, and aim more accurately. Controller control cannot match this aiming precision. Therefore, aim assist is also used on consoles to compensate for these disadvantages.
As early as the end of 2016, we reported on the “Tactical Assault Commander Pro” (TAC Pro), which was released for the PS4 at that time. It is a set of a mechanical keyboard and mouse designed by Hori (Japan) that advertises bringing “first-person shooter dominance” and “PC control” to consoles.
A year after the PS4 release, the Hori TAC Pro is also coming to Xbox One. It may come as a surprise that such hardware is allowed for the console, but the product is officially Microsoft-licensed and compatible with Xbox One and PC.
What can PC control do for Xbox One?
The TAC Pro consists of two components:
A keyboard with 20 mechanical keys: The keys are labeled with the symbols of an Xbox controller, such as LT, LB, X, and so on. On the right side, there is an additional stick. An adjustable wrist rest is also included for necessary comfort.
A mouse with 3200 DPI: The sensitivity can be adjusted. Besides a scroll wheel, it has additional side buttons.
Except for the white design and the Xbox buttons, there are no significant differences to the PS4 version. This set is also fully programmable. You can create multiple user profiles that save the key mappings and sensitivity settings. Additionally, the keys are LED-lit.
For additional advantages in combat, there are snipe and quick buttons. The snipe button reduces sensitivity for increased accuracy. This allows for more precise aiming while sniping. The quick button is intended for fast aiming and quick movements.
On the American Amazon site, the TAC Pro for Xbox One costs 150 dollars, with delivery starting on October 30, 2017. On the German Amazon site, the product is already listed but not yet available. Buecher.de, for example, already allows pre-orders. Here it costs 139.99 euros and is expected to be delivered starting from November 15, 2017. Note: These details are subject to change.
Here you can find the TAC Pro offers for PS4 and Xbox One on Amazon:
In FIFA 18 the title update 3 is coming to PC, Xbox One, and PS4. On consoles, it carries version number 1.04. What changes, what are the patch notes? Update: Apparently, there is a problem causing FIFA 18 to not start for some users.
Update: User reports are increasing that FIFA 18 is not starting on PC after the installation of this update. Currently, we do not have any information from EA Sports regarding this.
As of October 25th, the next title update for FIFA 18 is available for download and installation on PC. Console players will have to wait a little longer. According to EA Sports, update 3 will only be released on PS4 and Xbox One in the coming weeks.
This update fixes some bugs in the game and makes adjustments to gameplay. This time, the developers are particularly working on passes and goalkeepers.
We summarize the most important new features in German.
Patch Notes Update 3 / Update 1.04 – What changes on PS4, Xbox One, PC?
These gameplay changes are coming:
Ground passes will be less effective when passed blindly between 90 and 270 degrees. 0 degrees corresponds to the direction in which the player is looking. The ball will be passed with less speed and reduced accuracy. Between 140 and 220 degrees, the passes are least effective.
When the goalkeeper holds the ball, user-controlled reactions are disabled when only one player can be controlled.
A selection of the issues being addressed:
The goalkeeper sometimes parries the ball into their own goal.
During headers and volleys, the goalkeeper sometimes dives too early.
Players may sometimes become invisible during a match.
When the goalkeeper catches a ball near the goal line, they may sometimes be unable to throw the ball.
In friendly matches in Pro Clubs, game crashes may occur, and sometimes no invites are received.
In career mode, crashes can occur during the first match of the season.
The Chilean national jersey and emblem are now authentic.
The volume of the Cristiano Ronaldo celebration will be adjusted.
Visual issues with the Bundesliga broadcast package, with flags in the crowd, and with the ball will be fixed. Sometimes it can appear as if the ball is going through the goal net.
Specifically in Ultimate Team:
An overview of the objectives will be added to the pause menu in all FUT online modes.
The drama surrounding the Calus exploit is still resonating, as it turns out that the other phases can also be significantly simplified in this manner.
Note: In this article, we are only presenting the effects of the exploit. We will not provide a dedicated guide on how this glitch works. Those who really need to know will surely find it online.
The exploit at Calus is just the tip of the iceberg
If done correctly, one can ensure that the final battle can be fought without annoying enemies. You only need to deal with Calus and the Psions in the Shadow Realm. This glitch can also be applied to the other phases of the raid.
In the baths, the glitch ensures that you have no enemies to deal with. Only the bulky bath attendants (Tellaks) appear.
The circus phase is entirely without enemies. It probably won’t get any easier than this.
The dog teams are reduced to only two (instead of six) using the exploit. In prestige mode, you only deal with three dogs (instead of 8). In addition, no enemies spawn.
The exploits work in both normal and prestige mode, significantly simplifying the raid.
Robert says: Oh no, Bungie. With these exploits, the raid is easier than ever. Especially players who have completed the prestige raid as intended are likely to be very displeased with this glitch-fest. The difficulty level is reduced to an absolute minimum.
The glitch reveals a fundamental problem in Bungie’s coded mechanics. The fact that the already known glitch is transferable to other encounters does not suggest that Bungie can quickly resolve this issue. The future will tell!
What do you think about such exploits? Do you try them out or condemn anyone who even thinks about it?
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
The new update Swords of Chult has been released for the PC version of the MMORPG Neverwinter and promises to offer a better gaming experience.
Is Neverwinter slowly losing momentum? Admittedly, one does get the feeling of playing similar content – even if these take place in new areas. The gameplay itself also feels like it has become rather “worn out”. PvP could have used an update a long time ago.
Neverwinter still has a loyal fan base, and it’s commendable that new content is regularly being released. But somehow, there is a feeling that it’s time for something truly new and different. The developers likely agree.
Changes Optimize Gameplay
With the newly released update Swords of Chult, the developers aim to improve gameplay flow and tweak comfort features – in short: Neverwinter is intended to become a better game. This applies to both PvE and PvP modes. These improvements include:
Optimizations in inventory management and refinement – everything operates faster and more simply now
With the new “Patronage Seals”, you now achieve significantly faster progress in campaigns you have already completed with your main character using additional characters on your account
Improvements to PvP: Toughness as a PvP entry barrier has been removed, PvP items in PvP environments scale, diminishing effects have been introduced, the PvP solo queue is now a permanent feature, and there’s new PvP gear
New random queues should shorten waiting times a bit
In the new skirmish “The Folly of the Merchant Prince”, you will visit three random destinations where you will face randomly generated enemies
The flying carpet is the first two-seater flying “mount” in the game
You will experience these innovations, changes, and improvements starting now with the update Swords of Chult. The update is initially available only for the PC version of the MMORPG Neverwinter. Players on Xbox One and PS4 will have to wait a bit longer.
The latest update of WoW has brought new uses for Ursargerit – now you can earn some serious cash.
The patch 7.3.2 of World of Warcraft is live. This update primarily serves as a preparation for the upcoming raid Antorus, the Burning Throne. However, there are still some new features that are interesting for players. Particularly noteworthy is the new vendor Maras, who has stealthily secured a spot on the Vindicaar.
Maras is located on the lowest level of the Vindicaar in the southwestern area of the ship, right next to the craftsmen.
Many players have accumulated Ursargerit in the hundreds. Because after crafting one or the other epic piece of equipment, the crafting resource Ursargerit quickly loses its practical use. After that, it can only be used for crafting Urobliterum.
Maras, vendor for Ursargerit
However, the vendor Maras allows players to exchange Urobliterum for the new resources from Argus. Those who want can buy the following resources for 1 Urobliterum each:
10 Lightwoven cloth
10 Infernal leather
10 Empyrium
10 Astral winds
The most gold can probably be made by purchasing gems. These cost 10 Ursargerit each but can fetch a good price depending on the server. If you also have a jeweler on hand, you can further process the gems and make a bit more gold.
Especially in the first few days, one could make a good amount of gold before the market is flooded with gems.
If you prefer to plan ahead, it is advisable to wait until the raid Antorus, the Burning Throne opens. Then raiders will receive new equipment and will surely have to fill some socket places anew.
Here are the PC issues of Destiny 2 that Bungie is currently investigating! Players report that Destiny 2 crashes or does not start.
For many Guardians, the PC launch of Destiny 2 on October 24 went quite smoothly. They only waited a few minutes in the queue and could then embark on new adventures.
However, there were also some other reports: There were talks of server issues and lags, and some users complained that Destiny 2 crashes constantly or does not start at all.
Bungie has now released an overview of all known problems on PC – including “critical issues” – that they are currently investigating.
Help, Destiny 2 is not working!
First and foremost, Bungie provides you with a few standard workarounds if you can’t get Destiny 2 running on PC. You should check if all Windows updates and drivers are up to date.
In addition, when problems occur, you should try to close the Destiny 2 client and the Blizzard app, and then delete the existing CVARS.xml file. You can find the file this way: UsersUSER_NAMEAppdataRoamingBungieDestinyPCprefs – upon restarting Destiny 2, a new CVARS.xml file will be created.
These are the “critical issues”:
On some laptops, the Fullscreen mode cannot be selected. You should then choose the “Windowed Fullscreen Mode”.
Destiny 2 only runs with processors that have Supplemental Streaming SIMD Extensions 3 (SSSE3).
Trumpet error code: If you have this error code, you can change the Blizzard region. This might help according to Bungie.
Clan overview: According to some user reports, the clan overview is still missing in Destiny 2 on PC.
Continuous sign-in: Some players cannot log in – they get stuck indefinitely on the login screen.
Bungie has not provided any information on when they can fix some of these issues.
Currently, there are major issues with the “AMD Phenom II” processors. The game crashes constantly on these. According to Bungie, these CPUs are below the minimum system requirements and are not officially supported. However, they are trying to fix the issue.
Further PC problems that were already known before the launch:
SLI, HDR, and VSYNC: Players may encounter rare issues when enabling SLI or HDR in some non-native resolutions as well as disabling VSYNC. The best result is achieved when using these features while also using the maximum available resolution of your display.
If AMD Crossfire is active, you should not switch tabs (ALT+Tab). Otherwise, the Destiny 2 client may crash.
“Saxophone” error codes at startup: Players may erroneously encounter “Saxophone” error codes when starting the Destiny 2 application from the .exe file. Players encountering this issue should close the application and open it via the Blizzard Battle.net app.
Inactivity: In some activities, players are returned to the start screen due to inactivity and cannot log back in. Players facing this issue need to close and reopen the Destiny 2 application.
Sign-in after disconnections: A general error code may appear when the internet connection is interrupted. This can cause players to be unable to log back in after reconnecting. Players facing this issue need to close and reopen the Destiny 2 application.
Buffalo error codes on multiple PCs: Players may encounter Buffalo error codes when logging into Destiny 2 on multiple PCs simultaneously. To avoid this issue, players should ensure that they are signed out of Destiny 2 on all PCs on which they are not currently playing.
Cursor in Tri-Monitor configurations: Changing the resolution between 5760×1080, 4080×768, and 3072×768 may cause the mouse cursor to only be able to move on the right screen. Players encountering this issue should exit and reopen the Destiny 2 application using ALT + TAB. You can also enable windowed mode with ALT + ENTER.
Tri-Monitor Depth of Field: Depth of field effects can appear quite harsh on some tri-monitor configurations. Players encountering this depth of field issue can disable the function in the graphics settings.
Windows 10 Game Bar: The Windows 10 Game Bar may not function in fullscreen mode. Affected players who want to use this feature should use windowed mode or fullscreen windowed mode.
Numeric keypad mapping: Players may not be able to map most numeric keypad keys using control.
Image size on AZERTY keyboards: Players may receive the wrong key indicator when trying to adjust the image size on an AZERTY keyboard.
Input method in fullscreen mode: Players using the input method may encounter a black screen or lag when entering characters in fullscreen mode. These players are advised to use windowed mode or fullscreen windowed mode.
Close application: When Destiny 2 on PC is closed, players must close the application with the mouse. Controllers cannot select the in-game button that closes the Destiny 2 application.
Corporate and university networks: Some players may not be able to play Destiny 2 on corporate or university networks.

A new case in Overwatch is causing a stir among players. Using voicelines can lead to a ban!
For several months now, Blizzard has been trying to take stronger action against toxic players in Overwatch. Account penalties have been increased and the report feature has finally been introduced on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to directly report disruptive players.
However, not all players are happy with the new systems. The user ZeroSymbolic complained in the official forum that he had received a “Silence” ban for the third time – meaning he could no longer communicate with his team. He emphasized that he neither used chat nor voice chat, so a “Silence” ban was completely illogical.
Scott Mercer, the Principal Designer of Overwatch, directly addressed the player and explained that he was reported for other reasons, such as “poor teamwork,” “griefing,” “self-kills” – and spamming voicelines.
This immediately caught the community’s attention. Can spamming voicelines lead to a ban? After all, it is a feature of the game and should not be punishable. Or should it?
Mercer then clarified the confusion and explained in a second post:
“YES, if one spams the character quotes in a way that is considered intentionally disruptive or harassing, then one can be sanctioned for it.”
This now leaves many players with a sense of uncertainty. Where exactly does Blizzard draw the line? Is a Mei, who continuously spams “A-Mei-Zing!” while bouncing to lift the team’s spirits, already in danger of being banned? Or is it a Genji, who is spamming “I need healing” from the other side of the battlefield, that is meant?
The community is understandably a bit confused. Hopefully, Blizzard will clarify and elaborate on this in the future.
The latest update of World of Warcraft is live. We reveal what has changed in WoW with Patch 7.3.2.
With today’s maintenance on 25.10.2017, the latest update of World of Warcraft has been deployed to the live servers. Patch 7.3.2 has been applied.
The biggest change currently affects only a small percentage of players, but this could change in the coming weeks. If a character possesses all legendary items of their class, they have a chance to receive an item that creates a Legendary usable for the current class. The item is account-bound and can be given to twinks.
However, players must still wait patiently for the raid Antorus, the Burning Throne. The new raid is already fully contained in the game data, and the individual bosses have been extensively tested on the PTR in recent weeks, but the raid is not yet accessible.
There is speculation that the raid will be opened during the weeks of BlizzCon – that is, in early November. If Blizzard remains true to its old pattern, the normal and heroic version of the raid will be opened first, followed by the mythic variant, with one wing of the LFR difficulty opening every two weeks thereafter.
By the time the “casuals” among us get to see the final boss, Argus, it could be December.
Patch 7.3.2 is likely to be the last patch of the expansion “Legion.” Recent data mining and the upcoming BlizzCon suggest that the next addon for World of Warcraft is already well into development.
Since Destiny 2 became available on PC, eager players have been sifting through the files for secrets. And they found some!
Destiny 2 is now also available for PC. Unlike the console versions, the game files on PC are much easier to access and analyze. The Redditor TheEcumene has sifted through 26,000 audio files to find hidden clues about upcoming content.
The Redditor warns that he cannot guarantee that these audio files will ever make it into the final game. It is quite possible that among the 26,000 files are some that were recorded but do not have to serve a function in the game.
Attention: Possible spoilers ahead!
New Locations in Destiny 2?
TheEcumene has noted some highlights from the thousands of audio files and made them available to the community. He reports on text lines regarding the following new locations:
Ganymede – Ganymede is the largest moon in our solar system and orbits Jupiter. Ganymede is an ice moon.
Thy Myriad – This is also said to be a new location. The word “myriad” is ancient Greek and means “ten thousand.” Is it a home world of a hostile race? The location has already appeared in a ghost perk, so it is not completely new.
Phobos – The larger of the two Martian moons, Phobos and Deimos. The audio files also suggest that this location is a patrol zone.
Mercury – The location is more or less confirmed for the first DLC. The audio files support this.
Are We Returning to the Dreadnaught?
The Dreadnaught was the main location of the Destiny 1 expansion “The Taken King,” where we defeated Oryx, the father of Crota. Some text lines now clearly speak of this location, and that we will likely return there (freely translated):
“Back to Oryx’s flying tomb then.”
“Caution is your ally on the Dreadnaught. Do not get lost in its infinite vastness.”
“The Dreadnaught could not extinguish your light.”
“We defeated Oryx, but the Dreadnaught still lives. Fulfill your task and fight it!”
“The War Cult would reward you richly if you plunder the Dreadnaught.”
Especially the last line suggests that the Dreadnaught could be a zone with patrols. Perhaps Eris Morn will also appear and act as a planetary vendor like Devrim Kay in the EDZ?
Hints About Variks and the Reef
In addition to the Dreadnaught, other familiar locations from Destiny 1 might return. There are voice lines about:
Patrol zones on Venus, Mars, Old Russia
The Reef and the Prison of Elders are mentioned along with Petra and Variks. However, Bungie has already stated that these are remnants in the code. There are no plans to bring the Prison back.
The Black Garden and the Glass Throne are mentioned. The data miner speculates that there might be a return trip there.
More Information:
The SRL is set to return. It brings the character Marcus Ren with it
There are mentions of events like the Crimson Days and the Festival of the Lost (next year)
Shiro is said to go to Mercury and Osiris is coming to the Tower
Additionally, there is a line from Lakshmi-2, in which she speaks of a “House of Dusk,” presumably a Fallen house that worships the Darkness.
The future will show what of this will actually make it into the game. Some lines of code may also just be remnants.
The aim assist on PC caused confusion during the Destiny 2 beta. Now Bungie announces: Everything remains as it is!
Shooters on PC do not offer aim assist when played with mouse and keyboard, as the control is significantly more precise than with a controller. Therefore, aim assist is unnecessary.
Bungie announced before the beta of Destiny 2 on PC that the game would respond variably to the desired input device. If you play with mouse and keyboard, the aim assist is turned off. If you want to play with your controller on PC, Destiny 2 recognizes this and activates the aim assist to account for the less precise control.
However, this approach provides an opening for tools that pretend to use a controller while actually playing with mouse and keyboard. This allows players to enjoy the precise control of mouse and keyboard while still reaping the benefits of aim assist.
Aim assist makes it easier to hit targets (put simply, a high aim assist increases the hitbox of the opponent). This is intended to compensate for the lower precision of the controller when aiming.
This already caused some displeasure during the beta on PC. What now for the release of Destiny 2? PC project lead David Shaw provides answers.
According to David Shaw, the aim assist will not be adjusted at release. They have heard the players’ feedback and examined it closely. The decision to leave the aim assist unchanged was not easy for them. However, they could not detect any exploits during the beta.
When asked how Bungie deals with the issue of adapters that simulate controller inputs despite using mouse/keyboard, David Shaw replied: “We have spent months and months of work to create the best control for a fantastic PC game. Those who use means like XIM4 will have to live with the pros and cons of this input method.” What exactly he meant by pros and cons remained unclear.
Finally, David Shaw added that discussions on this topic will not die down. The decision to leave the aim assist unchanged applies only to the release. They want to keep all options open for the future.
Robert thinks: That Bungie is leaving the aim assist unchanged is no great surprise. There probably just hasn’t been enough time to fundamentally change this system. However, this issue could still cause trouble, especially in the Crucible.
Ultimately, players will not be separated by input method. The use of mouse and keyboard, including a suitable adapter for aim assist, is likely to provide a significant advantage in competitive multiplayer.
Which input devices will you be using on PC? Let us know in the comments!

Xbox One Early Access release of Skyforge coming in November 2017 with 15 classes
Skyforge offers you 15 powerful god classes on Xbox One that you can switch between at any time. Among them are cool characters like the Cannoneer, the Gunslinger, or the wild Berserker. However, you will have to wait a bit longer for the latest class, the dark Revenant, which will be available on Xbox One later.
The early access release of Skyforge on Xbox One takes place on November 10. To participate, you need to acquire a founder’s package. Those who pre-order such a package by 10.11.2017 will also receive a bonus package that includes an additional pet, an outfit, 7 days of premium playtime, and 3,000 Argents.
When is the early access start of Skyforge on PS4?
The basic package includes, in addition to early access on November 10, game currency and premium time. The better packages contain more, and you also get additional classes unlocked immediately and do not have to unlock them yourself.
Recently, there was a small scandal along with a shitstorm in Skyforge, because an item that was far too powerful was suddenly heavily nerfed after many players had already obtained it.

It’s a celebratory time at SWTOR. As a thank you, players receive 2 expansions of the MMORPG for free!
In the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic, there is again a reason to celebrate – and the players benefit from it. The developers show their generosity and are giving away two expansions for free to the player base.
All players can get the first two expansions of SWTOR for free – “Rise of the Hutt Cartel” and “Shadow of Revan.” The stories tell of the sprawling conflict between the Empire and the Republic, culminating on Makeb. However, shortly after, the Revanites reappear and seem to have brought their master back to life.
Unlocking the two expansions is incredibly simple. You just need to visit the official SWTOR site (link to code entry), log in with your game account, and enter the code “REVANRETURNS“.
If you also want to snag a cool swoop bike, enter the code “KOTORSPEEDER” on the same site afterwards.
“Rise of the Hutt Cartel” and “Shadow of Revan” for free
The reason for this generous action is the release of the classic game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Xbox One. The classic game from 2003 was re-released today, on October 24, 2017, in the Xbox store.
Also new are several offers in the SWTOR cartel market. The clothing items reminiscent of the heroes and enemies of the original KOTOR are available in the shop for 2 weeks again. So if you want to get the cool armors of Revan or Darth Malak, you can now spend your cartel coins in the shop.
However, you shouldn’t take too much time to decide. Because both codes are only valid until November 6.
If you haven’t checked back into SWTOR for a long time, you should take advantage of this offer.
