For the weapon forge in Destiny 2 you need Lost Prophecies. You fulfill this with Radiolarian cultures and Paradox amplifiers. How you can farm these items is explained here.
Since Curse of Osiris, you can visit the Lighthouse in Destiny 2. This is the new social space on Mercury, where Brother Vance, a secret and a weapon forge are located.
Through this weapon forge, you can obtain 11exclusive Osiris weapons equipped with Vex technology. However, you must do quite a bit to unlock all the weapons.
This wall in the Lighthouse shows you how many Osiris Vex weapons you already own
How can I use the weapon forge and how do I get Lost Prophecies?
Before you can forge Osiris Vex weapons, you must first complete the entire story campaign of Curse of Osiris.
After that, Brother Vance wants you to master three adventures in the Infinite Forest.
If you succeed, you can tackle a heroic adventure. A heroic adventure significantly increases the difficulty and comes with certain modifiers, making it a considerable challenge for solo players.
You can then return to Brother Vance, who rewards you with a legendary engram and a Lost Prophecy.
You will receive the “Lost Prophecy, Verse 1,” which leads you to the Osiris scout rifle. This prophecy can be inspected in your inventory. To fulfill it, you need a concentrated Radiolarian culture.
You can obtain this from Brother Vance. He will craft a concentrated Radiolarian culture for you if you bring him 10 Radiolarian cultures and 15 legendary shards.
Once this is done, you can use the concentrated Radiolarian culture in your inventory, which will fulfill the Lost Prophecy. Now you run to the weapon forge in the Lighthouse and craft the weapon: Afterwards, Brother Vance has more prophecies for you that you can pursue over time. They have various requirements that you must fulfill.
How can I quickly obtain Radiolarian cultures and Paradox amplifiers? – Materials for Prophecies
While the first prophecy only needs a concentrated Radiolarian culture, you will need three of them for other prophecies. This means you must bring 30 Radiolarian cultures to Brother Vance.
According to the item description, you obtain them through public events. About every second event drops a Radiolarian culture. So you need to complete around 60 public events to obtain just one weapon.
However: You can’t only obtain Radiolarian cultures through public events. Also, planetary chests and chests from high-ranking targets can contain this material. If you’re waiting for an event to start or have a quick moment during the event, you can loot these chests.
The Titan is said to be particularly suitable for this, as there are many chests near public events. Grab a ghost that shows you the nearby chests, and collect the Radiolarian cultures.
Note: With a very low chance, it may also happen that you directly drop concentrated Radiolarian cultures.

For the Paradox amplifiers, which you need for other Osiris Vex weapons, there is no “quick farming method.” You obtain them by completing strikes, crucible matches, and heroic adventures. PvP matches go the fastest. Regardless of whether you win or lose – after each match you receive one or two Paradox amplifiers. In rare cases, you may also receive an advanced Paradox amplifier, which Brother Vance will otherwise craft for you for 10 regular Paradox amplifiers.
In World of Warcraft, several things will change with Battle for Azeroth. We show you the 5 most important innovations of the WoW add-on!
About a month ago, Blizzard unveiled the latest expansion of World of Warcraft. There was plenty of information at BlizzCon, but what are the most important features and innovations that Battle for Azeroth will bring us? We have created a list of the 5 most important things that the new WoW add-on has in store for you!
Allied Races
While other expansions only ever implemented a maximum of one new race per faction (if at all), Battle for Azeroth brings six new species. These new “Allied Races” need to be unlocked through a questline completed by the main character.
The Alliance can look forward to the following races:
Void Elves
Dark Iron Dwarves
Lightforged Draenei
The Horde receives support from these allies:
Nightborn
Highmountain Tauren
Zandalari Trolls
New characters of the allied races start their adventure at level 20. If someone manages to play a character manually to the maximum level, they will also receive a stylish “Heritage Armor” that can only be worn by that race.
During Battle for Azeroth, more allied races are expected to follow. These will likely be introduced with the major patches when the story of the expansion allows for it.
Instead, players will have the opportunity to freely choose whether they want PvP activated or deactivated within their capital. Those who choose to activate PvP will only see other players in the world who have done the same.
As a special incentive for the system, many actions – such as quests – will be rewarded with additional bonuses if completed during a PvP phase. This aims to motivate players to engage more often in skirmishes.
At the same time, World PvP will be made fairer. The PvP templates known from battlegrounds, which set a character’s values to a fair level, will also be active in the open world.
The Heart of Azeroth and Azerite
Since players will soon retire their artifact weapon, Blizzard needs a new carrot to dangle in front of players. This carrot will be the Heart of Azeroth. Essentially, this is an “artifact necklace” given to every player at the start of Battle for Azeroth by Magni Bronzebeard.
Azerite is the new resource that essentially replaces “artifact power.” Players earn it for most actions in the game – such as visiting dungeons, PvP, island expeditions, completing world quests, and so on. Story-wise, Azerite is the lifeblood of Azeroth.
The Heart of Azeroth levels up continuously. It gains additional properties and talent points, but it can do even more: the Heart also grants bonus effects to other pieces of the hero’s equipment. For example, when acquiring new shoulder armor, it can be upgraded with the Heart of Azeroth. This will unlock additional talents gradually.
Once again, there will be a “catch up” mechanic for the Heart of Azeroth, so that newcomers and returning players can more easily reach a high level in the Heart of Azeroth. Unlike in Legion, however, the amount of Azerite received does not increase, but the required amount per level-up decreases over time. This avoids absurd numbers like “5 billion artifact power.”
The Island Expeditions
Although the Mythic dungeons in Legion provided a lot of long-term motivation, Blizzard wants to achieve even more changes and increased replayability. This aims to be achieved with the Island Expeditions.
These small mini-dungeons are designed for 3 players, and specialization should not matter – it could even be 3 healers or 3 tanks or just 3 DPS entering the instance.
Even though there is only a predefined set of a few islands, the experience there is meant to be different every time. One time the island might be occupied by Mogu performing dark rituals. Another time you might meet an opposing troll tribe, or the Hozen might be throwing a crazy party. Mission objectives and circumstances change constantly, creating a new gaming experience with unpredictable twists.
The special twist: Your team plays against a group of NPC adventurers who also try to loot the treasures of the island! These NPCs are significantly smarter than other mobs in the game, planning ambushes or tactically retreating. There is also a PvP mode – this is likely the hardest difficulty level.
Warfronts – Simulated Warcraft 3
Our last highlight is the Warfronts. Since everything in Battle for Azeroth revolves around the conflict between Horde and Alliance, the war will also be fought on several fronts. These Warfronts are one of the major events players can experience multiple times throughout the expansion.
Essentially, it is a large-scale PvE event where many players from one faction experience the siege of a stronghold. For example, the Horde attacks Stromgarde in Arathi to regain its power position in the Eastern Kingdoms.
The developers aim to revive the old feeling of Warcraft 3 here. Players must build complete outposts and construct barracks, forges, and other buildings to spawn NPCs that will then initiate the siege.
These are perhaps the biggest features that will define Battle for Azeroth. Which of these points are you particularly looking forward to? What features would you still want, and which should be removed? Let us know in the comments!
The MMORPG ArcheAge is getting a Remastered version – but initially only for Korea. This version is supposed to reflect five years of experience with the game.
ArcheAge is an MMORPG that repeatedly sparks controversial discussions among players. Criticism includes the item shop, where overly powerful items are sold, and the crafting system, which can hardly be utilized meaningfully due to a lack of resources. However, this version of the game could soon belong to the past.
Remastered version initially only for Korea
As XLGames announced, a Remastered version of the MMO will be released in January 2018. However, initially only in Korea and only on a server called Orchid. The new version of the game is set to showcase all balancing changes and adjustments that the title has gone through in the past five years. Both versions will run parallel for now, but the Remastered essentially represents “the new game”.
The Remastered version offers:
Balancing optimizations and upgrades for items. All of this has been tested on two focus groups
Raids and hunting areas will change dynamically to provide longer enjoyment
Adjustments to “Quality of Life” features that determine how comfortable players and organizations feel in the game world – including the economy, housing, crafting, guild features, and more
The Orchid server was named after the main character of ArcheAge
Initially, there will only be a limited number of character slots
The ticket stores will be redesigned
Registrations for the Orchid server will take place from December 28 to 31
Release in the West still unclear, but not unrealistic
Whether ArcheAge Remastered will also be released in the West is currently unclear. However, the developers gave a hint that the new version represents a kind of new beginning for the MMORPG, which suggests that the Remastered version could eventually be globally available. This is sometimes reminiscent of the reboot of Secret World. There, Secret World Legends runs parallel as a new game. The original version, however, will no longer be developed.
You start in DZ06 in the west near W53rd St. Then you run through the crates that MarcoStyle shows you in the video. The entire run is within DZ06 and DZ05 – the paths are quite short. The video shows the locations of Division-Tech crates and sealed crates. You will need to extract the latter first, but they will then drop a lot of Division-Tech.
After you have extracted the crates, you can switch servers and then repeat the run. The crates should be filled again.
This article was updated in December 2017. Here is the original announcement from 2016 (outdated info):
Division Tech is a crafting material that you can only find in the Dark Zone. It appears in three rarity tiers: Standard, Specialized, and High-End. While you can convert the green and blue Division Tech into other crafting materials, you need High-End Division Tech to craft High-End items.Arekkz Gaming presents you with a route in the Dark Zone where you will find a lot of Division Tech.
This is the “Division Tech Route” in the Dark Zone
This route leads through the entire Dark Zone, from DZ01 to DZ06, that is from south to the very north. You will encounter many enemies, but it’s best to ignore them if the situation allows. You just need to run to the Division-Tech crates, which are spread throughout the Dark Zone. The exact locations of these crates and how to efficiently loot them can be found in the following video. It starts at 1:20.

Attention: On this route, you will not find all the crates with Division Tech that are scattered around the Dark Zone. However, this route is an efficient way to farm this resource quickly.
You can also run this route solo. However, in a team, it may go faster, as you sometimes need to eliminate enemies to access the crates. Tips for a solo build can be found here. These Division Tech crates have a cooldown time of two hours. Only after this time can you farm this crafting material again.
Or: If a friend of yours is currently online, you can join him. In his “game world”, the crates are still filled, and you can go back to searching for them. So if you don’t want to wait for two hours, this tip can save you a lot of time.
No one probably expected this: The prestige activities in Destiny 2 are no longer playable without acquiring the new expansion Curse of Osiris.
If you don’t want to deal with the story around Osiris on Mercury and thus do not acquire “Curse of Osiris”, you now have a problem: Because without the new expansion, no prestige mode is playable, neither in the raid nor in the nightfall strike.
Power level is raised – but not for everyone
The required power level for the raid and the nightfall strike has been raised with the first DLC.
This is what many players wished for. Because in Destiny 1, in the first two years, old raids were not adjusted to new light level standards. Consequently, there was no incentive to play them anymore.
Bungie has solved this problem by raising the power levels for the prestige activities in Destiny 2 – but not for all players.
For the Leviathan raid, you should now be at power level 330 to play the prestige variant. The same level applies for the prestige nightfall strike. Since you can reach a maximum of 305 without Curse of Osiris, you will be locked out of these prestige activities. You can’t even enter them; it states: Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris is required.
By the way, you will also be locked out of the heroic strike playlist if you do not own the DLC.
Prestige activities are now hidden behind a paywall
If you did not purchase the expansion, you will only be able to play the activities at normal difficulty. This also affects trophies and achievements.
If you have not unlocked the trophy “The Prestige” yet, you will now no longer be able to earn the platinum trophy (PS4) without purchasing the expansion. Because for this trophy, you need to have completed the raid or the nightfall strike on prestige difficulty.
It will be particularly hard for players who do not have the Legend of Acrius. This is the exotic raid shotgun. Throughout the quest, you will have to face the weapons dealer. This is a strike with special modifiers, which remains open to everyone.
However, the weapons dealer strike is now set at power level 330. Although it still shows 300, all enemies are at 330. This will likely be difficult for players without DLC, as they will be at least 25 levels below. Whether this is intentional or a bug is unknown.
Purchase price refunds from Sony / Microsoft?
Currently, there are increasing voices that suggest one might be able to get their money back for Destiny 2.
A Reddit user reported that he communicated with Microsoft, stating that he could no longer finish the game without the DLC, as certain achievements/trophies are now tied to the DLC and no longer to the main game.
This reason was accepted by Microsoft, and the player received his money back. It remains to be seen whether this will turn into a mass movement.
Robert says: Bungie is removing content that players paid for just a few months ago. That alone shouldn’t be possible. However, it particularly hits PC players, who could only play the prestige activities for a few weeks before they were tied to the Osiris expansion.
Even though the fact that now all activities remain relevant due to the power-level increase is commendable – the decision to exclude players without DLC from the prestige activities is, however, incomprehensible.
The impact on the trophies also leaves a bitter taste. There has not yet been an official statement from Bungie.
What do you think about it?

The new Pokémon GO update 0.85.1 for Android and 1.55.1 for iOS brings new content to the game!
A new update 0.85.1 is now available for Android and iOS devices. The developers stated the day before that exciting things will happen in Pokémon GO. This includes monsters from Generation 3 and new weather conditions that will affect the game.
The experts from TheSilphRoad discovered through data mining what changes in the game come with the update.
The new loading screen
Update 0.85.2
Meanwhile, the update with the version number 0.85.2 has been deployed. According to data miners, there are only minor bug fixes here and no significant changes.
New Item: Star Piece
A new item appeared in the game code called “Star Piece” in English. Currently, experts assume that a Star Piece for stardust is what a lucky egg is for experience points: a booster. It is possible that with the Star Piece, the amount of stardust gained can be increased for a certain period.
Additionally, two extra packages of star pieces in sizes 8 and 25 were found in the code. These are likely the shop packages. We are already excited to see when we can buy and use the pieces.
Battle Parties are here!
The idea of battle parties had already been found in the code of Pokémon GO a few months ago. With the new update 0.85.1, the battle parties have been activated.
Source: Reddit user InvisibleSoul8
According to initial reports, you can assemble and name your groups before a gym battle.
New Battle Summary
If you have installed the new patch 0.85.1 and are battling with it, the new interface now shows you interesting data about the battles. It involves how effective the attacks are that you made against the defender or boss.
Weather Conditions
The new weather conditions affect spawn behavior, strength, and the amount of stardust gained. The following weather types were found in the APK:
Clear
Partly Cloudy
Rain
Windy
Snow
Fog
It seems there are four different levels of each weather type (Rain 1 to 4, for example). Clear weather is excluded. It only exists in one level.
Whether these gradations only have a visual effect (Level 1 Rain as light drizzle, Level 4 as downpour or thunderstorm?) or whether the mentioned bonuses with stardust, spawns, and strength will be further increased, will soon be revealed.
Additionally, there are various warnings for certain weather conditions.
These ten new attacks are now part of the APK. This includes the gift ability, which is the trademark of Botogel!
Source: PokeWiki
Body Slam (Charge Attack)
Waterfall (Charge Attack)
Surf
Draco Meteor
Wish
Sleeper (Charge Attack)
Psycho Boost
Origin Wave
Abyss Blade
Gift (Charge Attack)
Whether these new attacks will only activate for Generation 3 or if a reworking of the existing Pokémon attacks is upcoming remains to be seen.
Other Changes and Funny Placeholders
A new cache feature for the journal has been added to the game. This means that either we will soon see a longer journal or the loading times for it will be reduced.
Additionally, Niantic has integrated debugging tools for the new weather. Also included are “interesting” placeholder images. What could Niantic be trying to tell us?
In conclusion, this is one of the biggest and most exciting updates in Pokémon GO. We are already looking forward to the new weather conditions and can hardly wait for Niantic to release them. Hopefully, we will receive a nice gift from Botogel for Christmas.
In the latest Hearthstone expansion, the developers boldly take a card from another game – and this time in minute detail!
Hearthstone, Blizzard’s successful collectible card game, is on the verge of releasing its latest expansion. Tonight (12/07/2017), Kobolds and Catacombs will be unlocked, giving players the chance to explore dungeons and earn or purchase a total of 135 new cards.
However, at least one of the new cards is not as fresh as many players think. The “Violet Wurm” is a new minion for 8 mana, possessing stats of 7/7 and also has a deathrattle effect. Upon his death, he summons a total of 7 worms with stats of 1/1 – filling the entire board.
Players of the card game Magic: The Gathering might be rubbing their eyes at the Violet Wurm. Because MTS had a card that had the exact same stats with identical mana costs and even the same effect. As if that weren’t enough coincidence, the card in Magic is also a worm, namely the “Symbiotic Wurm”.
On Reddit, user cromatkastar drew attention to this blatant copy with the post “Can I copy your homework?” “Sure” and even received a response from Principal Designer Mike Donais.
Donais raised the question of whether it still counts as “copying” if he developed the Symbiotic Wurm 17 years ago for Magic and has now “re-developed” it as the Violet Wurm.
While this might not be exactly true, at least Donais has contributed to both expansions (for both Magic and Hearthstone). Indeed, Donais was previously also a Senior Game Designer at Magic: The Gathering.
What do you think of this “copy”? Should Blizzard be ashamed of it? Or is it so obvious that it was intentional and in a card game with limited possibilities, it was hardly avoidable?
In Destiny 2, the first raid sector will soon be launched. Bungie has now announced the release date – and will host another race.
The “Curse of Osiris” expansion has been live for almost two days now. Many Guardians have already completed the story, traversed the Infinite Forest, and brought their power level close to the new maximum.
However, there is an interesting activity that “Curse of Osiris” still has in store: The raid content.
This is about a “raid sector.” It is an extension of the existing Leviathan raid.
And Bungie has now announced when you will be able to explore the sector: It starts on Friday, December 8, at 7 PM.
Info on the first raid sector “World Eater”
The first raid sector is called “World Eater.” With the second expansion, there will be a second raid sector, but nothing is known about it yet.
In the World Eater sector, you will go into the belly of the Leviathan, meaning you will fight below the previous raid encounters. While it offers new activities and new locations with unique encounters, puzzles, and a new final boss, the new content will not be as extensive as the existing Leviathan raid. “World Eater” is supposed to be harder.
As a reward, there will be new loot in the form of weapons, armor pieces, and cosmetic items.
The recommended power level should be 300. The raid sector will be played in a fireteam of up to 6 players.
As soon as the raid sector starts, the countdown for a race will begin. Bungie wants to crown the “World First Run” again. In other words, the fireteam that can complete the raid sector first will be officially announced and showered with glory and honor. Bungie will be closely watching the Guardians.
These “World First” races have already become a tradition. In recent years, a race has been held with every raid release. However, in recent days and weeks, there have been discussions about whether a “raid sector” is really worth a race, especially since Destiny 2 currently has much bigger problems than finding the fastest raid team.
Community manager DeeJ has now commented on this: He spoke with the raid design team and the developers are proud of the work they put into the new raid experience. In their opinion, the new challenge is worth a race.
In the interview, we had the opportunity to ask Blizzard’s Art Director Ben Thompson and Senior Game Designer Peter Whalen about Hearthstone’s new expansion Goblins and Catacombs. How they evaluate the random effects, how it looks with the secrets of other classes, and what their favorite aspects of the expansion are, you can find out here.
During the interview, the two turned out to be very communicative, and the smiles in the picture were definitely not just for the camera. You can tell that they are wholeheartedly committed to their game, and this enthusiasm permeates our conversation even when it comes to sensitive questions.
From Idea to Realization
Mein-MMO: With Goblins and Catacombs, the seventh expansion of Hearthstone is now on the way! Where do you get your ideas for new content? What inspires you the most?
Peter: Sometimes one person simply has an idea and can quickly get the team excited. Other times, we really call the whole team together and brainstorm together. When we pitch our ideas, sometimes extremely quirky ideas come up.
What was the craziest idea?
Peter: Maybe the “Hot Dog Expansion.” Someone had a wacky idea for an expansion centered around cooking and eating. Since the idea emerged in summer, it quickly turned into a beach barbecue party in our minds. Hot dogs were the central element! It was a great pitch, but we ultimately decided against it.
Ben: It’s always a fun and inspired time that the team looks forward to the most. Of course, one wants to play the end product as well, but when everyone is sitting together and the room is bursting with ideas, it creates a very special atmosphere in the team. This is also because we do not consider any idea to be inherently bad, and we have a very healthy work environment.
Very often, someone says: “We should definitely not do it this way, but…!” and then comes up with the Hot Dog expansion or other crazy ideas. But it is from exactly such fixed ideas that our best developments often emerge! You never know where even the worst idea will lead you. And that is pretty cool!
Goblins & Catacombs – a classic Dungeon Run!
What exactly is the story behind Goblins and Catacombs?
Peter: Goblins and Catacombs is one of those ideas that everyone immediately jumped on enthusiastically. Someone called out, “What if we use the idea of a bag full of treasures?” Combined with our Dungeon Run, it was simply a wonderful idea. Who doesn’t love the idea of hunting for the shiniest treasure?
Originally, the expansion was supposed to revolve around the treasure bot Blingtron from World of Warcraft. But the more we thought about it, the more we liked the idea of a classic fantasy dungeon crawl. Going down into a dungeon with friends, kicking in doors, battling nasty monsters, and looting treasures – that’s what we wanted!
It makes the most sense to use goblins. They love gold, live in caves and catacombs, and have a fondness for their candles! They are fantastic companions to guide us down the dungeon and throughout the expansion to discover all the new things! And of course, there will be plenty of candle references!
Ben: Yes… one, or two, or twenty, or so…
With this expansion, Rogues finally get their secrets – will all classes soon have secrets?
Peter: No, that’s not currently planned. It just fits with the Rogue: He likes to steal, which is why some of his secrets are reminiscent of the Paladin’s. But those also fit wonderfully with the Rogue himself.
Currently, we don’t see which other classes could use secrets. Maybe something fitting will come our way someday, but it’s not planned.
What aspects of Goblins and Catacombs do you like the most?
Ben: I personally really like the new legendary weapons. Especially now, as Warlocks and Mages can also have weapons. Finally, I can create weapon decks with them! That sounds very promising to me. It allows for interesting deck types that simply haven’t existed before.
Peter: I’m most looking forward to the Dungeon Runs, no question! It’s this completely new single-player mode that also has high replay value. It’s just a lot of fun! Every time you have different experiences.
The first thing I will do with the new expansion is grab one of the heroes, take them into the dungeon, and level them up from scratch! I want the loot box and the card back you get when you complete the run with all classes. I’m very much looking forward to this mode!
Point of Contention: Random Effects
Many players dislike RNG – that Hearthstone often relies on random effects. How do you handle this issue in the new expansion?
Peter: We talk about this often, as it’s one of the cornerstones of Hearthstone. It is, after all, a card game, and a certain amount of randomness simply belongs to it. Many people like it, it adds to the fun of the game. No game is the same because of this. Ultimately, it’s also part of a HS player’s skill set to respond well to random effects.
Hearthstone features various random effects. We have the simple drop randomness common to any other card game and the random effects of the cards themselves. Which random effects do we want to add to cheap cards and which to expensive ones? With Goblins and Catacombs, I think we’ve found a good way.
For example, the new legendary card “Deck of Wonders“: It’s totally crazy! When cards like these are played, they can turn the game again. The Deck of Wonders shuffles 5 scrolls into your deck and casts a random spell when drawn.
Such cards we’ve set at a lower power level, as it’s just unpredictable. Maybe the player who plays it might also end up with a huge disadvantage due to the randomly cast spell!
Other cards like “Unstable Evolution” or the “Unidentified Cards” are less extensive in their effect. The latter always produce a base effect that can be planned to a small extent: They always grant some kind of bonus.
This is a smaller random effect. It results in the game becoming simply more fun and allows players to express themselves more with their decks. Players at a higher level will be able to gain more advantages from these effects than new or casual players.
Recruiting is another good example. You generally have a high degree of control over your deck, how you build it, and how many random effects you actually want. Recruiting is just as random as you want it to be. You draw a minion from the deck, but you ultimately build it too. If you want to recruit a specific creature like the Lich King, you only put that in the deck.
So you have control over what this effect actually does. This kind of randomness presents us with a high power level. It creates a situation where players have a significant influence. Randomness is definitely one of the topics we often discuss internally and intensively.
Peter: It also depends on the playstyle. If you only have one or two favorite heroes, it will be easier to snag all the important cards for your deck and your playstyle. You don’t need every card. For people who want to play every class, it’s more difficult.
My advice is always: try out which class suits you best and focus on that first. The rest will come over time. And of course we have single-player content and the brawl. There, you don’t need purchased cards; you can just dive into the fray. And ultimately, you can earn the necessary virtual coins through quests and reaching higher ranks in the brawl to buy cards.
Imagine you were cards in Hearthstone – which ones would you be and why?
Peter: Can I say Reno Jackson?! I think I would be him! I’m not sure if I would really like him, but he looks like he enjoys everything! He just has so much fun with life! He is a bit oblivious to his surroundings, and sure, sometimes bad things happen to him. But he smiles through it, and I think that’s a great way to live.
Ben: I would join the Explorer’s League just to hang out more with Peter, but I think I would actually be Elise Starseeker. We both are fascinated by historical facts. I love traveling to historical places to better understand the roots and experience things firsthand. We are quite similar in that way.

Against which people – real or fictional – would you like to compete in a Fireside Gathering?
Ben: Definitely Elon Musk. [An entrepreneur and investor who founded the private space company SpaceX] We know he knows Hearthstone and that his children play it too. I would love to see how good he is and try my luck!
Peter: I choose Michael Morhaime first! Have you ever played against him, Ben?! He is Blizzard’s CEO and plays a lot of Hearthstone. He plays against the Twitch CEO at TwitchCon every year, and I think it would be fun to play against him and see what he thinks!
And Gul’Dan! That would be super dangerous… because he wouldn’t be a good loser! As an opponent, he might not be so dangerous, but if he loses, I’d rather leave the room before he sucks my soul out! Or maybe against game designers from other genres! Sid Meier, for example, just to see how they would approach the game.
Ben: Otherwise, if the impossible were possible, I would still like to challenge J.R.R Tolkien. I am a huge fan of his books and definitely the biggest “Lord of the Rings” nerd ever! At least from the Blizzard team.
Do you think Tolkien would be good at this game?
Ben: He is a master of linguistics! But when it comes to video games… I’m not sure how well he would fare. He might have a chance, because I am absolutely not good at math. So yes, he was a bright mind, so I think he could beat me.
In the course of time
Are you satisfied with the development that Hearthstone has undergone over the years?
Ben: Oh yes! We are both very excited and humbled by the feedback we have received so far. Every year has been different and brought different impulses. Not only have the expansions grown increasingly creative, such as the disco party in the Mage Tower, but the team itself has also grown to meet the challenges, which is exciting to see.
Trying out new things like the Fireside Gatherings is a big deal for us. Most of the time, we just add details to the existing game.
Can you give us a glimpse of the upcoming expansion?
Ben: There will be even cooler stuff coming…! [laughs] For us as a team, it’s simply important to surprise ourselves with the new expansions – we are excited to see what comes next!
The dynamic weather will now also be displayed in the game and has significant consequences. On a rainy day, you will find more Water Pokémon and receive more Stardust for catching a Water monster.
Weather conditions in Pokémon GO explained
The weather in the game will now adapt even better to the environment. With the weather update, it will rain in the game when it is also raining at your location. In general, you will see more variety in the in-game sky. This also affects the spawn locations, attack values, and Stardust rewards of various Pokémon.
Niantic presented six different weather conditions that will be taken into account in the game:
Sunny
Partly Cloudy
Windy
Fog
Rain
Snow
Video on dynamic weather in Pokémon GO
If you want to catch a specific Pokémon, you can use the weather to your advantage. In rainy weather, you will find Water Pokémon like Mudkip more frequently in the wild. If it is sunny outside, your chances of spawns from Fire Pokémon increase.
And the good thing is: if you catch the monsters in their favorite weather, the Stardust rewards for the catch also increase.
How the game changes in the rain, we show you in the following video:

The video shows that Water, Electric, and Bug-type Pokémon appear more frequently in the rain and provide additional Stardust when caught.
Another bonus is increased battle values. Research is still ongoing on how this manifests in the game.
Higher spawn rates, better battle values, and more Stardust apply to these Pokémon types under the following weather conditions:
In Wind: Dragon, Flying, and Psychic
In Snow: Ice and Steel
In Fog: Dark and Ghost
In Clear Weather: Grass, Ground, and Fire
In Rain: Water, Electric, and Bug
In Clouds: Fairy, Fighting, and Poison
With the new weather features, there is again more variety in Pokémon GO and perhaps even reasons to go hunting in bad weather. How do you like the weather change?
The exotic trace rifle Coldheart has received a brother in Destiny 2: The Prometheus Lens. This weapon is so powerful in the Crucible that it brings back memories of the Vex Mythoclast.
Until now, there has only been one representative of trace rifles – the Coldheart. With the Prometheus Lens, a solar-based laser weapon comes into play, which immediately provides absurd kills in the Crucible after the launch of Curse of Osiris (and earned the nickname “Gjallarhorn” right away). Because it is absolutely overpowered!
What is the Prometheus Lens anyway? – Locations
The Prometheus Lens is a new trace rifle in Destiny 2. You can find the weapon in exotic engrams or you have to hope that Xur has the weapon.
An exotic engram in Destiny
In terms of stats, the weapon is quite similar to its little brother, Coldheart. The magazine size is slightly smaller than that of Coldheart (77 versus 95), and it has slightly lower stability, while the reload speed is a bit higher (46 compared to 37). The aim assist is at maximum value 100 for both trace rifles.
These are the special perks of the Prometheus Lens:
Prismatic Inferno – Fires a solar trace beam and generates a damaging heat field that grows when the weapon is fired continuously.
Flame Refraction – Kills with this weapon return a portion of the used ammunition to the magazine, extending the duration of the beam.
On Reddit, the first posts with absurd gameplay footage of the new trace rifle are already circulating. The victims of the Prometheus Lens report that they stood no chance against the weapon.
The images show that the Lens can achieve a TTK of about 0.5 to 0.75 seconds without needing to aim carefully or keep the beam continuously on the opponent:

In the history of Destiny 1, there have often been weapons that completely turned the Crucible upside down: Most notably the Vex Mythoclast, which played like an automatic rifle as an exotic fusion rifle.
No other weapon could even come close to competing with the Vex Mythoclast back then, until Bungie nerfed it into the ground.
The Vex Mythoclast
The Prometheus Lens now strongly resembles the dominance of the former Vex Mythoclast and will dominate PvP – if Bungie doesn’t intervene.
Some players already see the Trials of the Nine in danger
Due to the easy handling and fast TTK, some Guardians already see the danger that Bungie will cancel the Trials of the Nine this week in order to recalibrate the weapon.
If Bungie allows the Trials to take place without weapon adjustments as planned, you can expect to encounter the Prometheus Lens more often than the MIDA Multi-Tool.
Weapon changes should not affect the PvE mode
Many players report that the Prometheus Lens is very well balanced against computer-controlled opponents in the game and is a lot of fun. Unlike Coldheart, it is also useful against many adds, as you get ammunition back into the magazine with each kill, allowing you to shoot continuously without reloading.
Therefore, some Guardians are concerned that necessary adjustments in PvP may disrupt this gameplay experience in PvE.
There is now a reaction from Bungie
Specifically, from Community Manager Deej. He has now confirmed via Twitter that the weapon has a bug causing too fast kills in the Crucible.
He did not mention what exactly triggers the bug. However, they want to announce more details tomorrow in “This Week at Bungie.”

The mythical mode of Antorus, the Burning Throne in World of Warcraft is available – and everyone wants to be ahead in the raid. But which classes will actually be at the top of the DPS rankings as the content unfolds?
Damage in Antorus, the Burning Throne, is just as necessary as tanks and healing in any other raid. Big numbers are important here, as without enough DPS the boss is faster. The nice side effect is the joy among damage classes.
With the recently implemented hotfix for class balance, some positions have solidified, while others have shifted a bit. Also, Antorus is still young, and meaningful logs are not yet available. Most players are still wearing old gear, not the new sets.
Fury Warrior
The numbers clearly speak for the axe-swingers: Fury Warriors are currently the kings of DPS. Simulations from Simcraft have shown that the plate wearers can deal the most damage in a frenzy.
This is likely to be confirmed for the time being and not change. The synergy between the Tier 21 warrior set and the Convergence of Fates from the Night Fortress is too strong to allow competition:
The 4-piece bonus of the set increases the damage of Berserk by 25% for 8 seconds when Battle Shout is activated. Battle Shout itself has a reduced cooldown due to the Convergence and guarantees critical hits for 5 seconds.
This synergy was supposed to be removed with the hotfix on December 5th. However, there were 2 changes to the planning before release. Just before the patch, they were completely removed. Blizzard seems to not be entirely satisfied with the status quo.
Shamans
For shamans, it doesn’t matter which of the two damage specializations is played. Enhancement has higher, reliable damage. Elemental shamans have the highest potential damage of all classes, with one exception.
Due to their versatility, shamans shine in Antorus. They bring both high single-target damage and strong group damage. They are flexible, making them favorites for any fight.
No changes have been made to the totems so far. Their simulated numbers speak for them, and in the current logs, Elemental shamans are at the top. With the prevailing trend, both specializations can secure top spots.
Destruction Demon Hunter
After the self-sacrificing followers of Illidan lag somewhat behind in the last raid, they can now prove their strength in Antorus. Even though they are rather difficult to play, demon hunters achieve high numbers and ranks in the DPS comparison.
In the early tests and in the first week, the numbers looked poor. However, one should not be confused by that. In the patch for class balance, the set of the leather wearers has been adjusted and is now much stronger than before.
Although skepticism remains, the new numbers are very promising. With the improvements to the set bonuses, demon hunters might even outdo Fury Warriors.
Affliction Warlock
Affliction is one of the most challenging specializations to handle. That has long been a reason why the numbers were rather low, and few people dared to try it. With Antorus, that could change.
Currently, among warlocks, Affliction is the more popular specialization – and also the strongest of all classes. However, recent changes have noticeably reduced the damage here. In return, the Affliction colleagues are enjoying significant buffs!
The 4-piece set bonus of the T-21 set for Affliction Warlocks is now twice as strong as it used to be. This, combined with the already strong benefits for them, makes them part of the spearhead of spell classes – if you can actually play them.
Outlier: Outlaw Rogue
Rogues are being weakened across the board with Antorus. Whereas Subtlety was still among the top classes at Tomb of Sargeras, today all specializations are far down on the list. This is also due to the sets, whose bonuses are hardly useful for rogues.
A silver lining for assassins, thieves, and poisoners now comes from the Outlaw Rogue. The specialization receives a buff of a solid 4% on every ability. This allows them to surpass Elemental shamans in potential damage as the only class.
The crux of the matter is: Outlaw Rogues must rely heavily on their luck. They are truly strong only when the dice fall well (literally, thanks to Fate Dice) – and, when many players already wear the Pantheon trinkets from Argus.
The list presented provides evaluations made based on calculated DPS, previous changes and trends, discussions on MMO-Champion, and experience.

Curse of Osiris introduces numerous new exotic armor pieces in Destiny 2. Here we present an overview of the Exotic armor for Titan, Hunter, and Warlock.
Since the launch of Destiny 2, Guardians can collect 33 exotic armor pieces – 11 per Guardian class. With the Curse of Osiris expansion, a total of 12 additional Exotic armor pieces were added on December 5, some of which are already known from Destiny 1.
We present all new exotic armor pieces from the first DLC with their perks. It is noticeable that most Exotics influence the class abilities (Barricade, Rift, Dodge).
On this page, you will find the new Titan Exotics.
The exotic armor of the Titan from Curse of Osiris
The Titan receives four new Exotics:
Khepri’s Horn – Helmet
Solar Bastion:Solar damage kills recharge the barricade, which releases an explosion of solar energy when erected.
Saint-14’s Helm – Helmet
Starless Night:The protective dawn blinds enemies who enter it. Protection with Sentinel Shield briefly blinds nearby enemies.
Aeon’s Safe – Gauntlets
Aeon Energy: Constructing a barricade grants Aeon Cult allies grenade energy (Warlocks), barricade energy (Titans), dodge energy (Hunters). All other allies receive a portion of the shared energy.
These gauntlets are interesting: each class has such gauntlets with “Aeon Energy”. If allied Guardians with Aeon Armor are nearby, blue spikes emerge from the armor. These indicate the “Aeon Cult allies” who benefit particularly from the perk.
MK.44 Stand Asides – Leg Armor
Seriously, Head Down:Grants an over shield while sprinting with full health and equipped with Seismic Strike, Hammer Strike, or Shield Strike. Hits with these abilities recharge a portion of melee energy.
Since the first alpha, players of the Western MMO Wild West Online have been wondering how the developers plan to release the still unfinished title this year. It is now clear: not at all. The release has been postponed.
On the Facebook page, the developers explain: “Although we liked the idea of releasing the game in December, the past weeks have shown us that we need to spend more time in early access alpha before we can present the game to a larger audience. Therefore: No, Wild West Online will not be released this December.”
Work is progressing well
The team is confident that they can complete most tasks that were originally intended for a release this year by the end of 2017. However, there were additional matters that players noted and deemed important. These include:
Combat from horseback
Hunting wild animals
Better structured PvP events
Global events
The developers want to integrate these features into the game before the release. Additionally, optimizations and adjustments to gameplay are needed to make the experience more enjoyable. This, however, means that some game systems need to be developed from scratch. And that takes time.
Better communication with players planned
Furthermore, the team wants to communicate more openly with fans. They are working on an interactive roadmap that clearly shows what is being worked on. Additionally, they plan to release updates on progress every two weeks.
The team has not yet announced a new release date for Wild West Online.
With this, what participants in the alpha and early access phase of Wild West Online have been saying for a while has now come true: A release this year was unrealistic, and now the team has realized this as well. In the end, this can only lead to a better game.
The sandbox MMO Albion Online is getting a major PvP update called “Kay” on St. Nicholas Day. With this, you can beat each other even more effectively and have more fun fighting against other players.

Season mode for “Guild vs. Guild” battles: Starting December 9, the first season for GvG battles will begin and last for over three months. Conduct raids in enemy territories and defend your own area. Additionally, there will be resources during the season, with which you can obtain special battle mounts.
Changed territorial raids: You can directly attack the mages of the opposing guild and hinder them from collecting energy.
New battle mounts: Earn points in the GvG season and purchase the new battle mounts with them. Look forward to the commander mammoth, the fire basilisk, and the poison basilisk.
Improved performance: Changes such as less resource-intensive models, better spell effects, and more efficient textures have significantly improved the performance of the client.
Political world map: You can now see at a glance who controls which areas and who is allied with whom.
Hardcore Expeditions: PvE fans can engage in these harder versions of regular expeditions against particularly tough enemies.
Expanded tutorial for newcomers: To prevent newcomers from getting frustrated and leaving, more of the game is now explained in the tutorial.
A new expedition: The new T6 group expedition “A Handful of Silver” lets you defend farmers against a gang of heretics.

In FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, TOTW 12 (Team of the Week 12) is known. These players will receive Inform cards in the twelfth TDW in FUT 18.
The first team of the week in December will be the TOTW 12. It will be released on St. Nicholas Day at 7 PM.
The highlight in TDW 12 is De Gea with strong 92. The goalkeeper is the only player with a rating above 90. Özil (89) and Coutinho (87) are close behind. From a Bundesliga perspective, the agile Coman should be interesting.

What is the Team of the Week (TDW) in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team?
Every Wednesday, EA Sports reveals the Team of the Week in the “Ultimate Team” mode of their annual football simulation. This also applies to FIFA 18. In this case, players who performed outstandingly in real football in the past week are rewarded with special cards that have improved attributes.
You can pull the TOTW cards within a week from the packs that may contain rare (gold) players. However, the chance of this is considered low. Additionally, it is possible for you to buy them on the transfer market if they are offered by other players. The prices for them are usually extremely high.
The Team of the Week 12 is available from December 6 at 7 PM until December 13 at 7 PM in packs.
In Niantic’s official announcement, it is stated that by the end of this week, the starter Pokémon Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip, as well as many other monsters from Generation 3, will appear in Pokémon GO. There will likely be 50 new Pokémon to find in the game.
But when will more monsters come? The developers will release the new Pokémon gradually. This means that in the course of the next weeks, more monsters from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire will be coming to us.
Source Ranker.com
A leak already showed in advertisements in the App Stores that the new starter monsters are coming soon. However, this advertisement was quickly changed to conceal the announcement. Apparently, Niantic also realized that the hype train can no longer be stopped and officially made the announcement of the monsters.
The new desert map of PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) has been officially revealed and is named Miramar. Bluehole introduced the cities of the map on Steam and reveals what awaits you there – Loot ahoy!
With the new desert map Miramar, Bluehole aims to create a new “Battle Royale” experience. The strategies and tactics currently employed by players are intended to hold no significance in the new desert landscape.
On Steam, the developers have now revealed the cities in the desert where players will soon engage in the fierce fight for survival. Bluehole didn’t want to reveal too much information – the key locations with brief descriptions and a few new screenshots have been shared, allowing players to start thinking of new strategies.
Desert Map Miramar: Screenshots & Descriptions of the Cities
These are the cities of the new desert map Miramar:
Los Leonos
Largest city in the region
Has shopping miles, a skyline with new constructions, and a glorious city center
Players should secure high points on the buildings with advantageous viewpoints
There will be plenty of loot in the cave-like, abandoned, commercial buildings
El Pozo
Has massive industrial areas and entertainment districts
Players can seek a challenge in the Luchador Arena
The “Death Bowl” is perfect for testing motorcycle skills
The ruins of the abandoned textile factories promise an exciting hunting area
Monte Nuevo
The city represents the inhabited part of the map
Rundown walls protect the inhabitants – These provide little protection to players
There is a well-stocked warehouse here
Valle de Mar
A colorful town by the ocean with the “De Toro” bridge
In the west is a school
In the east is an elevated church
The centerpiece is the bridge control point – The only direct connection between the mainland and the islands
La Cobria
The transport capital of Miramar
The core is a giant gathering place of transport systems
Players can hunt each other among old freights here
Cautious players should first grab loot in the nearby schools and campuses before attempting to conquer the gathering place
San Martin
Is basically the battlefield of Miramar
Both sides of the city are easily overseen. Cautious players should scout the area first before diving into this city
Pecado
Has a huge casino filled with valuable loot!
Aggressive players will try to raid the casino and the arena right away
Cautious players should check the large hotels between the casino and the arena
Chumacera
Here there are long-abandoned factories that stretch along with residential houses and commercial buildings along a main road
This city is described as an exciting place for loot: High risk, high chances!
This is just a glimpse of the places that can be visited in Miramar, according to Bluehole – the rest should be discovered by the players themselves.
The desert map can be played from the final test round before PUBG version 1.0 is released.
One might have expected a somewhat larger announcement and a beta phase, but Gamigo has surprisingly launched the reboot of Dragon’s Prophet, Savage Hunt, today.
Savage Hunt for PC represents a type of reboot of the MMORPG Dragon’s Prophet, focusing on collecting over 600 dragons. This takes place through a collection album, in which your already found and tamed drakes are listed. All dragons in the game can be collected right from the start. Additionally, you will complete more than 4,000 quests, fight against numerous monsters, and explore a vast world.
By training your dragons in specific directions, you gain specializations that benefit you in tasks and enable you to form teams for participating in cross-server guild wars.
Launch without major advance notice or beta
Apart from the short announcement with some screenshots, there have been no further details about the game so far. The official website also only offered a teaser with “Coming Soon” until now. However, Savage Hunt surprisingly released today, December 6, – and this without major advance notice or a beta phase. Community Manager Ildruin recently informed about the launch in the official forum and surprised the community. Because they did not expect that the release would happen out of the blue.
A curious launch for an MMORPG
The official announcement was made via a press release from Gamigo after the client for the game had already been linked in the forum. However, it had not been unlocked until now, which is why players reported crashes during installation. But now everything should work.
The whole situation is somewhat curious and unusual for the launch of an MMORPG. One would have expected at least a beta phase, as is common with other genre representatives. The announcement of Savage Hunt left some questions open.
