GTA 6 Release in 2022, female lead
For the first time in GTA’s history, players are said to play the story in GTA 6 with a female character. Whether the woman remains the only playable character, or if like in GTA 5 several main characters will be playable, is still uncertain.
However, we still have to wait a bit for the release. According to recent rumors, Grand Theft Auto VI is not expected to be released until in 3-4 years. Let’s give Rockstar some time; therefore, we can roughly expect the release of this new GTA installment in 2022.

A comeback of Vice City would delight many players in the community.
Together with San Andreas, Vice City is often mentioned as one of the best entries in the GTA franchise. The radio stations are unforgettable, playing hits from the 80s from Nena to Black Sabbath. Stations like Flash-FM or V-Rock have shaped the musical taste of many gamers.
While GTA 6 is supposed to take place in Miami or Vice City, it is unclear whether there will be a “modern” setting or if players will be transported back to the 1980s again. A reunion with the main protagonist Tommy Vercetti could also be possible.

The loot box debate at the end of 2017 was the major controversial topic in the gaming industry. The effects still extend into this year, as the discussion over whether loot boxes are gambling and should exist in video games is far from over.
Back then, Electronic Arts tried to justify the loot boxes and the intended grind in Star Wars: Battlefront 2. On Reddit, it was explained that unlocking Darth Vader is supposed to be something that rewards players with “pride and a sense of achievement,” or in the original English: “A sense of pride and accomplishment.”
Actually, EA’s community team aimed to smooth things over, but the situation escalated. EA’s post received a staggering 670,000 downvotes and is thus the most downvoted post in the history of Reddit.
The fact that the topic has not been forgotten yet is now shown by a new mod for Battlefront 2. If desired, you can exchange the loot box texture so that the words “PRIDE AND ACCOMPLISHMENT” prominently appear on the loot chest. With World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, the game world of Blizzard’s MMORPG is not only expanding with two new continents, but also receiving a lot of new mounts. For many players, mounts are one of the most important rewards, after all, you ride for many hours through the new areas: The mount is even more noticeable than the character’s armor – a clear prestige symbol.
So far, the Brutosaur seems to be the most likely candidate for the new “premium mount”. The Pokémon GO event with Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza has ended. Now it turns out what rewards you get for that.
In the last days, a legendary event was active in Pokémon GO. The Pokémon GO team challenged you trainers to prove your strengths. For a limited time, the three ancient legendary Pokémon Kyogre and Groudon together with Rayquaza were in the game.
Until March 5th, it was analyzed which of the three raid bosses was defeated more often. Accordingly, rewards are now being introduced.
Defeat Rayquaza more often than Groudon and Kyogre so that from March 5th to March 16th, Pokémon that prefer windy weather hatch more frequently from eggs. An example mentioned was Kindwurm.
If Rayquaza is not defeated more often than Groudon and Kyogre, it is more likely that from March 5th to March 16th, Pokémon that prefer sunny or rainy weather will hatch more frequently. These include Knacklion or Loturzel.
Additionally, rewards now include increased experience points and changes to raid bosses.
On March 3rd, the developers posted the current status on Twitter, showing Rayquaza leading with 52% against Team Kyogre and Groudon at 48%.
Team Rayquaza is the Winner
Today, Niantic announced that Team Rayquaza has won. However, they did not provide exact percentages of the victory.
Consequently, from now on, Pokémon that prefer windy weather will hatch more frequently from your eggs.
The raid bosses in gyms are also expected to be Pokémon that prefer windy weather.
It is still unclear whether new bosses will come into play because of this. Currently active raid bosses for windy weather include not only Rayquaza but also Wablu and Rossana.
Until March 16th, players will also receive double experience points.
These special egg contents, double XP, and raid bosses are active until next Friday, March 16th. Keep in mind that probably only the eggs you collect anew now and put in incubators will count for this reward. The community assumes that eggs already collected or those already in incubators do not qualify for these bonuses.
So collect new eggs from PokéStops and place them in the incubators to receive more frequently monsters that prefer windy weather.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) fights in solo mode every player for themselves. However, some players regularly manage to farm other gamers as a team in solo mode.
In Fortnite: Battle there are three game modes that you can choose before a match:
Squad: All players are divided into teams of up to 4 players
Duo: All players are playing in pairs
Solo: Everyone fights against everyone, there are no teams
If you don’t feel like team play, you go out alone in solo mode and shoot to your heart’s content.
It’s only annoying when you still encounter well-coordinated teams that are numerically superior to you. What’s going on?
What are Solo Teams?
Teams in solo mode are multiple solo players who know each other and unofficially cooperate. They use a voice chat program for coordination and stay close in battle so as not to lose sight of each other.
Because unlike in squad or duo mode, they do not see each other on the mini-map or are highlighted in the game. Nevertheless, such teams are at a significant advantage and can usually eliminate many solo players.
For the final victory, they then have to draw lots to see who gets to win.
How do teams get into solo mode?
But how do such teams come about at all? Unlike in group game modes, allied players cannot register as a team. Fortnite has a constant player base of around 3 million concurrent players. So how can it be that you strategically land in the same match?
Apparently, it’s easier than you might think. If players live somewhat close to each other, it is probably enough to click the “Start” button at exactly the same time. The chances of getting into the same match would then be quite high.
Common solo sessions easier than thought
In an article on PCGamesN, the author tried this with his friends (who live about 20 to 100 kilometers away). In almost 50 percent of the cases, at least one from the friend group ended up in the same match with other buddies.
On Reddit, there have also been increasing reports from players noticing such solo teams since last month. Many players there also explain that you can easily get into the same match if you choose the same region and start the game simultaneously.
What to do about solo teams?
Teams in solo mode have always been strictly forbidden in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Those caught can expect a ban. Therefore, as a victim of such teams in solo mode, you should simply report the corresponding players to Epic.
In Fortnite, after your death, you usually see the game from the killer’s perspective. If they are then peacefully roaming around with other players, they are likely a team player. According to the developers, such people are regularly banned.
Some Reddit users, however, write that they don’t notice much of it or that the “teamers” soon log in with new throwaway accounts.

Collaboration with the enemy?
According to rumors on Reddit, a senior Bluehole employee from China is said to have actively collaborated with cheat developers and a cheat streamer. He is said to have shared code from the game and played a significant role in the development of cheats.
Reddit then saw a surge of rumors. Many Reddit users were by no means surprised and seemed to expect anything from Bluehole. Various streamers from China and Russia presented supposed “evidence” in videos. Additionally, the alleged rogue has also reportedly been fired.
What really happened?
Meanwhile, Andro Dars, the community manager of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, has made a statement on Reddit. In his statement, he said that there is indeed a suspicion of such collaboration with cheaters.
However, the employee in question is indeed part of the China team, but not the boss there. Furthermore, he does not have access to the game code. And he has also not been fired. Apparently, there is (still) not enough evidence to prove any wrongdoing on his part.
However, they would take the matter seriously and address it. The fight against cheaters is, after all, one of Bluehole’s top priorities.

How to get the cards of the ratings refresh in Ultimate Team
As soon as the winter upgrade cards are released, they can be pulled in the packs. The only requirement is that the pack can contain players. The “old” cards of the respective players will not be found in the packs from that moment on.

Even within the Overwatch player community, there are many small groups that tease or outright despise each other. Particularly “popular” are insults against “Mercy mains”, “Genji tryhards”, and of course – the perennial favorite – “Hanzo mains”.
Players of Hanzo have always had to endure a lot of mockery and ridicule.
After all, the hero is laughed at by a large part of the player base and has created the reputation of the “Hanzo main” who only plays this hero but can hit nothing with it – except for a scattershot one-hit on the tank.
Hanzo is the meme master of Overwatch
Since Overwatch has existed, there has been the notion that the hitboxes of Hanzo’s arrows are as large as tree trunks. There are numerous memes about how Hanzo fires not arrows, but entire trees at his enemies.
Now, however, the developer Geoff Goodman has surprised everyone in the Overwatch forum by clarifying that Hanzo’s arrows are not as large as everyone thinks. According to him, Hanzo’s arrows are the same size as the “smallest projectiles in the game”, such as Genji’s shuriken.
To provide a clear comparison, Goodman cited further examples. Thus, the projectiles from Mercy and D.Va’s pistols are about 150% larger than Hanzo’s arrows.
Hanzo fans hope that with Goodman’s clarification, the memes and hostility towards Hanzo players will finally come to an end. However, since we are on the internet and it simply doesn’t work that way, I wouldn’t bet on it.
In the latest expansion of Battlefield 1 Apocalypse, new dog tags were introduced. Some of the requirements are ridiculously hard.
The Apocalypse expansion is the last DLC that the developers had planned for Battlefield 1. In addition to new weapons and maps, it unlocked dog tags in the game, the requirements for which are sometimes extremely challenging. These challenges are either designed for professionals or for players with particularly good luck.
Destroy a huge behemoth with the smallest pistol?!
For the most part, the requirements for the unlockable dog tags are manageable. They are hard, but doable. Most of them relate to the new Affliction system that was activated with the DLC. These afflictions intentionally make the game harder for players so they have new challenges.
The Looming War Dog Tag requires you to get 50 melee kills while the Peacock Affliction is active. The Peacock Affliction ensures that you remain marked until death if an opponent spots you once. Other afflictions make you lose 200 points with every death or decrease your health points per second.
These challenges are hard, but solvable with a bit of effort.
Each of the dog tags has six challenges. Many have one that seems impossible. The aforementioned Looming War Dog Tag also asks you to achieve 25 kills with the melee weapon Dud Club without dying. Kills with melee weapons are generally risky. Not dying while doing so requires a lot of skill and luck.
But that’s not all: It gets even crazier. The Creeping Death tag wants you to destroy a behemoth with the Kolibri pistol. Yes, the huge behemoth that can appear as a zeppelin, airship, or battleship, and yes, the Kolibri, which is slightly smaller than a pack of cigarettes.
And then there’s the Withering Famine Dog Tag, which crowns all the challenges. One of the challenges wants you to destroy an airplane with tripwire. Just let that sink in: You are to destroy an airplane with a bomb that is on the ground and waiting to be triggered by stumbling players.
However, you are not forced to complete these crazy challenges to unlock a dog tag. It is sufficient to complete five of the six tasks per dog tag. The colorful action MMO Closers aims to introduce a new heroine. But there are two characters to choose from. You as a player get to decide who wins.
Closers is a colorful action MMO in anime style. However, you don’t have your own hero, but play as one of the predefined characters from the “Closers Team.” These include prodigies, grim soldiers, and schoolgirls with knives.
But that’s not all. The developers plan to bring a new heroine into the game soon.
Killer Android or Sexy Spy?
You have the following two heroines to choose from:
Tina: This is a tough killer android. Although she looks like a little girl, she can fully utilize the power of “Phase Power” and is thus an excellent ranged fighter. She can also summon various weapons.
Harpy: This fighter specializes in quick aerial attacks. She has a fast fighting style and sometimes plays with her opponents. She also works as a spy.
Collect Wolf-Dog Cookies and Support Your Favorite
To support the heroine of your choice, you can collect special “Wolf-Dog-Cookies” starting March 6, 2018. You can get these cookies from the following sources:

Leveling up to level 70
When you have collected 30 cookies, you can create a support box for the heroine of your choice. The winner will be announced on a Twitch stream on March 15. The heroine who receives the most support will be brought into the game by April 3.
Since the save files for MHW are stored locally and can be easily edited, most of them are most likely fakes.
But even if these screenshots were created by manipulating the save files, one could still assume that this is the actual maximum Hunter Rank. In previous Monster Hunter games, the cap was at 999, so a maximum Hunter Rank of 999 in MHW would make sense.

Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) does not yet have an established eSports league, but several top clans are already competing. Recently, FaZe joined and formed a killer team for Fortnite. In a clip, the pros showcase their skills.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, there is still no official eSports league. However, that does not stop prominent top clans from deploying their best players in the vibrant battle royale game.
So far, the pro teams TSM and Method have already formed their own killer teams for Fortnite: Battle Royale. Now, another eSports giant joins: FaZe!
The next super killer team from the eSports scene
FaZe was founded in 2010 and has made a name for itself mainly in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Overwatch. In Blizzard’s hero shooter, the lineup recently reached the finals of the Major Gaming League. In CS:GO, FaZe is also frequently found in the finals, most recently at the “Eleague Major: Boston 2018”.
A team has now also been formed for Fortnite. It consists of the usual team size of four players:

Is Fortnite suitable for eSports at all?
Fortnite is extremely popular, and many players are demanding a professional eSports league. Curiously, however, many players also see a problem with eSports in battle royale games like Fortnite.

Capcom announced that Monster Hunter World has sold more than 7.5 million copies to retailers worldwide on PS4 and Xbox One. This makes the action RPG the best-selling title of all time for Capcom.
On Capcom’s official website, it has been announced that Monster Hunter World has now sold more than 7.5 million copies. This includes digital sales. This makes Monster Hunter World the most successful title in Capcom’s history. Overall, the “Monster Hunter” series has now sold 48 million copies.
Capcom aimed to conquer the world with Monster Hunter World. This endeavor seems to have succeeded.
Monster Hunter World is the first main entry for home consoles in 9 years
In Capcom’s press release, it states:
“Monster Hunter World is the latest title in the series and the first new Monster Hunter game for home consoles in nine years. It is also the first title in the series to be launched globally at the same time and received an ambitious worldwide marketing campaign to further expand its fan base both in Japan and overseas markets.”
Before Monster Hunter World, the titles in the franchise were mostly released only on handheld consoles like the Nintendo 3DS. These were very popular in Japan, while they reached a niche audience in the West. Monster Hunter has long been one of the most successful game series in Japan for this reason. Nearly 80% of sales before Monster Hunter World occurred only in Japan.
It was an important step for Capcom to release Monster Hunter World on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to establish the title outside of Japan. These home consoles are found in many gaming households worldwide and appeal to a broader audience than handheld consoles. Capcom is likely to gain a good momentum when Monster Hunter World comes to PC in the autumn.
However, Capcom did more than just release on home consoles to achieve this success.
The global release was prepared by Capcom during development
The release on home consoles was certainly the foundation for making Monster Hunter World successful worldwide. However, Capcom took several additional steps even before the release to make Monster Hunter World successful.
“Quality of Life” adjustments: Mechanics have been modernized
Capcom specifically geared Monster Hunter World towards the global market during development. Several mechanics have been modernized and made more comfortable, which could be considered cumbersome in older installments of the franchise.
For instance, Monster Hunter World features seamless open world maps, allowing hunters to move uninterrupted from area to area.
Similarly, Scoutflies were introduced. These are small insects that guide hunters to target objects, reducing aimless wandering on the map.
There is also a training room now where hunters can practice with the 14 weapon classes before heading out for the hunt.
A fast and action-packed tutorial has been developed, where players learn the first steps and are thrown right into the action.
“Quality of Life” adjustments like the ones mentioned above facilitate entry into the game and made Monster Hunter World more accessible.
Capturing the zeitgeist: Multiplayer features have been enhanced
Multiplayer games with a “Games-as-a-Service” approach match the modern gamer zeitgeist. Although Monster Hunter World is not a full-fledged games-as-a-service title, Capcom has recognized this trend as well.

The search function includes a language filter.If you use the filter, you only encounter players who speak the selected language.
With a new online drop-in mode players can join an ongoing quest at any time.

Capcom brought a strong partner onboard with Sony
For a long time, the “Monster Hunter” series was exclusive to Nintendo. The franchise was primarily released on the Nintendo 3DS and WiiU. However, for Monster Hunter World, Sony and Capcom entered into a partnership.
According to a leak, Sony and Capcom even made a deal to prevent a release on Nintendo Switch. A considerable amount of money reportedly flowed to Capcom. However, these are unconfirmed rumors.
Even though Switch is catching up, the PS4 has long been the most powerful home console on the market.
A limited PS4 Pro styled after Monster Hunter World was also available.
Free betas that excited and intrigued players
Shortly before release, Capcom offered players exclusive and free betas of Monster Hunter World on PS4. These were the perfect appetizer to convince many players.
The betas conveyed the game feel of Monster Hunter World and provided testers with somewhat better equipment. Capcom likely wanted to show where the journey could lead. The monsters were somewhat toned down here and had fewer move sets than later in the full version. This created a positive feeling about the game for many.
The training room was also available in the beta, allowing players to really get into it with all 14 weapon classes and get a taste for the game.
The public was continuously fed with information bites
Capcom pursued a media-effective strategy and continually fed the public with new info. Since the big announcement at E3, there have been well-staged trailers showcasing new monsters and maps or snippets of the story.
As a result, Monster Hunter World stayed in people’s minds and a real hype around the game was created. The sophisticated ecosystem, where animals follow a logical food chain, consistently took center stage.
Monster Hunter World received positive word-of-mouth from veterans
In addition to the internal preparations for the global release, there were also some external influences that certainly contributed to the success of Monster Hunter World. Even though the franchise remained a niche title outside of Japan, it formed a loyal and passionate fan base even outside Japan.
It was observed, even here on Mein-MMO, that veteran players repeatedly spoke positively. When newcomers were hesitant about the purchase, veterans tried to alleviate their concerns. Many were simply enthusiastic about the franchise with its hard monster battles.
Initiatives like the “Adopt-a-Hunter” program show that veterans wanted to guide as many new players as possible into the franchise.
The press was overflowing with positive reviews
Just in time for the release of Monster Hunter World, the first test reports about the action RPG appeared. Monster Hunter World received top ratings across the board and achieved a Meta score of 91 on PlayStation 4.
With these ratings, many players could hardly ignore the title and quickly picked it up themselves.
Monster Hunter World is simply a good game

The Style Check in World of Warcraft is live again! There are fresh transmogs for all collectors, but only for a short time!
One of the small but fine features of World of Warcraft: Legion was the introduction of micro-holidays. These are short events that often last only a single day or a few days. Most of these activities are merely for fun and offer no rewards, but there are a few exceptions. One of these exceptions is “the great Style Check.”
The great Style Check will again take place in 2018 from March 5 to March 9.
To participate in the Style Check, simply visit a transmogifier of your trust. You can find them in Dalaran at the enchantment shop or in all other major cities (just talk to the guards).
Subsequently, you and other players will be transported to a separate version of the Terrace of Order, where NPCs will give a specific theme. These include terms like “summer fashion,” “champion of light,” or “make me laugh.” Then all participants have a few moments to adjust their transmogrification to best fit the theme.
While two players present their transmog on stage, the rest of the players can vote on who fulfilled the task better.
Once a first, second, and third place have been determined, the voting ends and players will be rewarded with tokens of the great Style Check, which can then be exchanged in Dalaran at various transmogifiers around the world for cosmetic armor sets.
New Armor Sets in 2018 for the Great Style Check
In 2018, there are four new armor sets as rewards, one for each armor type (cloth, leather, chain, plate):

The new update “Shrine of the Eidolon” for Warframe will soon also be available for the consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Then you can finally hunt the new giant Eidolons on consoles!

Gantulyst and Hydrolyst invite you to the slaughter fest

The gigantic Gantulyst: This new Eidolon is twice the size of a Teralyst. The Gantulyst has a massive rock as an arm and can execute powerful beam attacks.
The poisonous Hydrolyst: This Eidolon is also gigantic, but its true danger comes from the poison it continuously emits. Anyone facing the Hydrolyst should be prepared for a lot of poison damage.
Dargyn–aircraft: Those who have previously explored the Plains of Eidolon might have often cursed the annoying Dargyn flying sleds of the Grineer. These agile speeders attack from the air and are difficult to hit with some weapons. However, occasionally parked Dargyns can be found in the Plain, and if you take out the pilot before he boards, you can zoom around with the Dargyn and perform aerial attacks.
More Plains = more fun?
The new monsters in the Plains of Eidolon come out of their holes at night as usual. You can only defeat them in well-organized groups and with top gear. In return, they provide valuable loot, such as the new Arcanas. According to the developers, the Eidolons are meant to serve as a replacement for the raids that were recently removed from the game.

However, those who are not interested in the open-world map Plains of Eidolon are not very pleased. Some players complain that most of the new content is found in the Plains, neglecting the regular maps in space. However, those who enjoy venturing into the Plains are already looking forward to the update.
