How to play The Elder Scrolls Online for free
Until March 27, you can play The Elder Scrolls Online for free on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. All you need to do is register on the official site of The Elder Scrolls Online for a platform of your choice.
After that, you can download the game and create an account. Keep in mind that you need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold on consoles. If you have used free playtime in ESO before, you can continue where you left off.
Also cool: In addition to your free week in ESO, you get 500 crowns for the real money shop. You can buy pets, mounts, emotes, or loot boxes with those.
In World of Warcraft, First Aid is obsolete. Blizzard has now revealed what will happen to the recipes.
With Battle for Azeroth, there will be a variety of changes in World of Warcraft, especially regarding the various professions. Recipes of the main professions will be categorized differently, sorted by addon.
However, one secondary profession will be completely removed: First Aid.
First Aid had a long tradition in World of Warcraft. In Classic, The Burning Crusade, and to some extent in Wrath of the Lich King, players could heal themselves when they had no healing abilities. In some fights, such as against Illidan Stormrage in the Black Temple, guilds even required that everyone had learned the profession to better absorb area damage.
In the following addons, First Aid lost more and more importance, and today hardly anyone uses it. The healing is too low, the additional effects (like poison or bleeding removal) are insignificant.
Therefore, Blizzard is pulling the plug and completely removing the secondary profession from the game.
Alchemy and Tailoring take over First Aid
However, the recipes will not completely disappear. Blizzard has now explained what will happen to the old recipes.
All bandages will be available to tailors with Patch 8.0, who already work with fabrics.
Other items, such as antidotes, will now be crafted by alchemists.
The recipes must be relearned by players with the corresponding professions (Alchemy and Tailoring). The costs are likely to be low, as these are low-level recipes.
Whether bandages and antidotes will still hold relevant significance remains to be seen.

The Deviljho has been in Monster Hunter World since March 22 and is a brutal fighting wyvern feared by the inhabitants of the new world. It is also known as the World Eater, as it constantly suffers from hunger and is said to have wiped out entire species due to its gluttony.
To unlock the Deviljho, you need to fulfill certain requirements and go on a quest for clues. Here you will learn step by step what you need to do to access the “Special Assignment” for the beast.
In order to receive the quest for the Deviljho, you must have already made certain progress in the game.
These are the requirements you must fulfill for the Deviljho quest:
Unlocking Deviljho: Embark on Expedition with Question Marks
Once you have fulfilled the basic requirements, it is best to start anexpedition in high rank and look for question marks.
When you open the world map, check which area has question marks among the listed monsters. Here, the Deviljho will first appear. For me, this was the case in the Coral Highlands. The Deviljho can appear on any map.
Warning: If you cannot see any question marks, even though you meet the requirements, you simply need to start a few other missions. Repeat this until the question marks appear on the map.
Now embark on a free expedition to the area with the question marks and search for the Deviljho.
Once you have seen the Deviljho for the first time, the Field Expert will scream and tell you that you need to go back to Astera immediately to report your discovery to the Research Commission. You can now decide to fight the Deviljho directly or abort the mission and return to Astera.
Unlock Special Assignment: Talk to “Cheerful Scholar” with the Blue Exclamation Mark
Once you are back in Astera, go to the quest board in the trade shop. Here you will find the three scholars, with a blue exclamation mark above the “Cheerful Scholar”‘s head. Talk to him and you will receive a new investigation.
Look for Deviljho Tracks and Gather Enough Research Points
In every high-rank location as well as in optional quests with 6 or 7 stars, you can now find Deviljho tracks and the beast itself. The Deviljho can also appear in quests where it is not listed.

Defeating the Deviljho in Battle – Quick Tips
The Deviljho has a similar attack pattern to the Anjanath, but is significantly faster in movement and executes its attacks longer. While the Anjanath bites through the ground about 2-3 times, the Deviljho performs this attack 3-5 times.
Here are some quick tips:
Weapons with Thunder or Dragon Element: The Deviljho is weak against the elements Thunder and Dragon. You can quickly farm Thunder weapons from the Tobi-Kadachi.
Armor against Dragon Element: The Deviljho possesses the Dragon element and can unleash a dangerous breath in rage mode, dealing Dragon damage. It is therefore advantageous to bring armor that is effective against the Dragon element.
Positioning, preferably beneath the abdomen: The Deviljho performs dangerous attacks with its mouth and massive tail. It can also make 180-degree turns with its tail, from which you are not safe even at the side of the beast. However, you are safest under the Deviljho. Here, the large monster has difficulty hitting you.
Nullberries against Dragon Blight: In rage mode, the Deviljho emits a dangerous mist from its mouth. This causes Dragon Blight, which you can heal with Nullberries.
20 Dragon Resistance against Dragon Blight: If you have armor that has 20 Dragon Resistance or more, you are protected against the Dragon Blight from the Deviljho. Alternatively, 3 x Resistor Jewels also work.

Wizards of the Coast’s popular trading card game enters the next phase of its video game version Magic: The Gathering Arena in its latest version.
The new beta aims to showcase the complete game, as the developers want to gather more feedback. The team is now inviting an additional 100,000 players to check out the test version. However, this is not yet an open beta.
Magic: The Gathering Arena aims to offer you an “authentic” gaming experience of the popular card game. You compete against other players while strategically using your cards. Over time, you collect new cards that enable you to develop further tactics. Arena has no gimmicks; it plays out just like actual duels with real cards.
The next phase of the beta offers even more features:
New starter collections – To test new starter card collections, including 10 pre-constructed decks with over 300 unique cards, there will be a wipe.
Amonkhet Block – The Amonkhet and Hour of Devastation cards will be introduced, allowing you new tactics.
The development continues
The developers are very eager to see how players react to the new version of Magic: The Gathering Arena and want to work on improvements and optimizations together with the testers.
For The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, PS4, Xbox One) the new chapter “Summerset” has recently been announced. But are the promised contents enough? What does the community think about the new chapter?
The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is about to get bigger. On June 6 (Early Access on PC from May 21), the new chapter “Summerset” will be released. Once again, there’s a large island full of content. In addition, there is a new raid, a large story full of quests, jewel crafting, and a new faction where you can learn additional skills.
However, a new class is missing. In the previous chapter Morrowind, there was the new Warden, this time there’s “only” a new skill line for all heroes. Also, something really new is missing. The long-promised spell weaving feature, which was supposed to allow players to create their own spells, is likely not included in Summerset.
So what does the ESO community say about Summerset?
Some players envisioned the Crystal Tower differently.
Nevertheless, the new chapter itself has been well received. Many players like the new region of the Summerset Isles. Some also complained about the allegedly unflattering appearance of the legendary Crystal Tower. This mysterious structure looks like a “giant concrete cucumber”.
Just no flying mounts!
Other players are concerned about possible flying mounts. A picture showed a flying griffon, on which an elf was riding. Some players want flying mounts, while others strongly oppose it. However, it is unlikely that players can fly on griffons, as community manager Kai Schober explained.
The new crafting for jewelry has overall been well received. While some players would have preferred it as part of a general update, the overall sentiment is positive that this feature made it into the new chapter. Additionally, some players hoped for a graphics update. ESO looks quite dated now.
Some players found it fair that Summerset is 10 euros cheaper than Morrowind. After all, there is apparently also less content in the new chapter.
Razum Dar is back!
On Reddit, some players also lament the somewhat meager contents of the new chapter. A new class or at least a new weapon skill line would have been highly welcomed. Some players feel that the new chapter is too bland.
The setting in the Summerset Isles has also been well received. Many players are especially looking forward to Razum Dar, the cunning and lovable Khajiit master spy from the cinematic teaser.
Many cool and funny quests with the cat person are expected. Just for that, the new chapter is already worth it for some players.

On Steam, PUBG developers explained that there will soon be more variety in the battle royale shooter. With the event mode, Bluehole is unlocking time-limited events. During these events, gameplay content such as the drop chance of specific weapons will be altered. But this is just the beginning.
PUBG Rifle Fest with 8-player squads
The event mode is described as a pre-made custom game, with settings changing from event to event. They want to try new things and change the parameters for content relevant to gameplay.
The goal is to provide new experiences for players that they cannot find in regular public games.
However, the event mode should not just represent custom games, but offers content, most of which is only available in the game for a limited time.

You want to play Sea of Thieves solo? It’s not that hard. Stick to our survival and control tricks and get rewarded.
There are many reasons why someone might want to play Sea of Thieves solo. Some players see themselves as a lone wolf, wanting to achieve their adventures and successes on their own. But there are also moments when one simply doesn’t feel like playing with a group. It’s better to just float along alone, perhaps listening to music or watching a stream.
As a solo player, you are outnumbered by enemy ship crews. However, with these tips, you can still navigate the game successfully.
Let’s go! – Preparation and sailing
Before each adventure, it’s helpful to take as much material as possible from the starting outpost. Bananas, planks, and cannonballs are extremely important and can be stored on your ship. Having a handful more planks in the hold can save your ship from sinking.
It’s best to load your cannons with ammunition on board right away. This way, you are prepared in case a fight occurs.
Set sail and stay on course
Once you’ve made all the preparations and are on your way to your first treasure, it’s important to handle your ship well.
Sail length
With the sails fully deployed, you can reach high speeds, but you maneuver more slowly.
If the sails are retracted, you can make particularly tight turns, but you have little speed
Reading the map while sailing
Position the overview map in the captain’s cabin so that you can see the ship and your target at a glance.
There’s no need to run below deck to see if you’re on course. Just look at the deck behind the anchor; you’ll see the map there. If that is too imprecise for you, the telescope can help.
Land in sight – Approach slowly and loot
On your journeys, you must always dock at new islands to search for the desired loot. However, approach the islands with caution so that your ship does not take damage. As you approach the island, it’s best to pull the sails up to half or a quarter mast. You need to calculate about two seconds before the boat stops for the anchor throw.
For a particularly cool stop, turn the rudder all the way to the right or all the way to the left and then drop the anchor. Your boat will make a 180° turn. There’s even an achievement for such a turn-around maneuver. You can see all achievements in Sea of Thieves in our overview
After your ship has come to a stop, hoist the sails completely and raise the anchor again. Use the rudder to turn your boat into the right position for a quick escape.
Before stepping onto the island, make sure to check the ammunition chest again for safety and look with the telescope for enemy ships in the vicinity. If everything is clear, you can go loot.
Ship against ship – Against groups, you are faster
The disadvantage in combat as a solo player becomes apparent against large crews of 3 or 4 people. Therefore, many solo players completely avoid combat here and try to flee. To make this work, keep the following tips in mind:
If a galleon is chasing you, steer your boat directly into the wind so that the wind comes against you. Fully swing your sail to one side, either all the way left or all the way right. This way, you’ll be faster than the galleon and can easily escape.
Against other sloops, it’s best to take cover behind islands with mountains so the opponents lose sight of you.
If you love excitement and want to test your luck against a galleon, it’s best to circle around it. While you’re making circles, shoot at them with the cannons.
In combat against other sloops, try to maintain distance so that neither of the two persons can board you. You would recognize that by the splashing of the water when a player jumps into the sea.
General tips for Sea of Thieves
In close combat, a sword is often the better choice because you can strike more quickly without having to wait for reloads. In fights against other players and skeletons, it is always important to keep moving. This way, skeletons can’t surround you, and players have a harder time aiming at you.
Try not to fight in the water, but stay on land (or on the ship). If you are wounded, try to hide to eat bananas and heal yourself.
If you are docking at an island, it’s usually a good idea to raise the anchor again. One exception exists when you are in the middle of a storm and the ship could drift away. To escape, it is always faster to drop the sails than to haul in the anchor.
Don’t worry if you fall overboard while your ship continues to sail calmly. A friendly mermaid (or merman) will quickly appear nearby and teleport you back to the ship. You can recognize this supportive swimmer by a sound and a distinctive torch.

In a forum post, the director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV Naoki Yoshida explained how the Ungarmax glitch made it through QA testing into the finished game. With this, players could inflict significant damage with a simple chat command. An incredible exploit, to say the least.
At the end of February, a strong exploit in FFXIV became known in the community through a Reddit thread.
The Ungarmax Limit Break allowed players to significantly increase their damage output for a short period using a simple chat command.
The exploit was so bold and so noticeable that many people wondered: How could this slip through? And why wasn’t the exploit fixed immediately after it was reported?
Now, the director of FFXIV, Naoki Yoshida, has commented on the incident. In a surprisingly transparent post, he explains how the glitch occurred and what is being done about it now. The penalties for the exploiters are also detailed.
How does Ungarmax work?
Originally, the exploit was implemented in October 2017 along with Content Patch 4.1. To gain access to this NPC Limit Break, players had to first unlock the NPC command missions.
Compared to the normal Limit Break, Ungarmax has several special features:
It only consumes one Limit bar out of a maximum of 3 and can be used multiple times in boss fights.
It increases the group’s damage output by a whopping 50% for 15 seconds.
The duration of the effect can be extended to 25 seconds by the Astrologian job’s “Opposition” ability. For a single player, it can be extended up to 40 seconds.
Some time after the release of Content Patch 4.1, players discovered that they could also use Ungarmax outside of the intended instances with the help of a chat command.
Some players then used the strong buff effect of the Limit to conquer the hardest raids in FFXIV.
When the exploit gained significant attention through a Reddit post on February 27, 2018, several players came forward claiming they had reported the glitch to the GM team months earlier.
To determine how the error occurred and whether it had indeed been reported multiple times, appropriate investigations were initiated.
The routine check by the server did not take place
The investigations revealed that a player had indeed been reported multiple times to the GMs for the illegitimate use of the NPC Limit Break.
A special team, the special command, began monitoring the player. However, as no use of third-party programs was detected, the observations were discontinued.
The glitch remained undiscovered because the special command was too focused on cheating via third-party programs and botting.
The error itself was absolutely trivial: In the case of Ungarmax, the server-side validation was missing.
This is a routine check that occurs when all abilities are used and checks them for their legitimacy.
The chat command that triggered Ungarmax was not monitored by the server and could therefore be used outside the intended instances.
The workflows of the Dev and QA teams will be adjusted
The director of FFXIV holds himself and the development team responsible for the error.
According to him, certain minimum standards and routine processes in development were not followed. Additionally, some team members were not properly informed about the necessity of server-side checks.
To prevent such an error from occurring again in the future, error reports of this type will be examined more thoroughly than they have been so far.
Furthermore, the QA team will revise its guidelines to ensure better checks in the future.
In general, none of the GM teams should specialize too much, allowing them to overlook error reports like Ungarmax.
And what happens to the cheaters?
After the exploit became public on February 27 on Reddit, a special team began analyzing the combat logs of all players to determine if they had used the Ungarmax chat command, with the following results:
By midnight (JST) on February 27, “Ungarmax” was used by 25 characters from 21 accounts in 8-player content.
