What is Royal Blood? Royal Blood is a new high-gloss game for mobile devices. Royal Blood comes from the Korean developer Gamevil and features the ultra-sleek Unity engine. The game has even won awards.
After many months of development, the AAA mobile MMO is finally ready and has started beta in the West.
Android beta has started
If you want to play Royal Blood, you have the opportunity in the recently started beta. The beta runs from April 19 to May 1, 2018. Unfortunately, only Android devices are intended for the beta. Users of iOS smartphones and tablets cannot participate this time.
According to the developers, this beta will not be the last. Additionally, during the beta, the following events will take place:
Level-Up Event
Realm vs. Realm Event
Survey Event

Royal Blood – Launch also in German
The current beta mainly focuses on bug fixes and stability and is likely to still have various rough edges. The beta is only in English, but Royal Blood will be available in German at launch.
Furthermore, after the beta, all progress will be reset: A wipe will occur.
What is special about Royal Blood and why should you play it?
There are several good reasons to consider Royal Blood. The mobile MMO includes many features that are typically found in full-scale PC or console MMORPGs. These include:
high-quality graphics for mobile standards based on the Unity engine
A story that is partially voiced and tells the tale of your royal hero, who loses everything at the start of the game and must work their way back up
Dynamic public events will occur repeatedly on the map, similar to Guild Wars 2
Extensive item system with crafting
4 heroes (Warrior, Ranger, Sorceress, and Bard) each with unique gameplay, skills, and tactics
A sophisticated action battle system that plays dynamically and intuitively and rewards you for not using the auto-play feature
Raids and dungeons for 10 players, with exclusive raid rewards
Gigantic PvP battles with 100 players per side. Alternatively, you can fight in 3vs3 in the arena.
Mini-games like fishing
With all these promising features, Royal Blood is suitable for players who want to enjoy a high-quality and stylish online RPG on their phones or tablets. Royal Blood is intuitive to play yet offers a worthy challenge that cannot be solved solely through mindless auto-grinding.

For European players of TERA, many changes are coming soon for the PC version. The servers of the PC version of TERA are merging: Who will be the German server after the integration in 2018?
Players of the MMORPG TERA published by Gameforge on PC should brace themselves for some changes soon. In a few weeks, TERA plans to merge its servers. There will then be only one server per language.
The following server merges will take place for the different languages:
The English server Sikander will disappear and will be integrated into Mystel.
The German server Saleron will disappear and will be integrated into Yurian.
The French server Amarun will disappear and will be integrated into Seren.
The international server Killian will remain unaffected.
German players will choose the Yurian server in the future
For German players who also want to chat in German, the server of choice will be Yurian.
Those who prefer to play on an international server with predominantly English language can continue to access the Killian server.
The developers hope to achieve the usual effects of server consolidation, which has been relied upon by other MMORPGs. With a greater concentration of players on fewer servers, positive aspects are expected to occur, such as shorter wait times in group searches and more players for shared activities.
The server merger is expected to take place “at the beginning of May.” However, there is no specific date yet.
It is also uncertain what this server merger will mean for characters and what will happen with duplicate names. As soon as there are definitive answers to these issues, we will update the article and inform you.
Are you positively inclined towards the server merger? Or does this mean the loss of server identity for players? Do you think this is a good step or just the herald of the downfall of TERA?
Recently, the 6v6 format has also been introduced in the Crucible of Destiny 2 – albeit only during the one-week Iron Banner event. How has the community responded to this change so far? We summarize the initial reactions and want to hear your opinion on it.
After many Guardians had the chance to dive into the 6v6 and gather initial experiences with this format in Destiny 2, we are receiving more and more opinions from the community. We will briefly summarize the initial reactions from the fans about the 6v6 mode and want to know from you in a survey what you think about this new old format in Destiny 2.
6v6 in the Crucible – fans’ thoughts
The initial reactions from the Guardians have mostly been surprisingly positive so far. According to the comments from players on Reddit and other forums, it quickly becomes clear that the format known from its predecessor is very well received by the Guardians in Destiny 2.
Obviously, the PvP is finally fun – for some, for the first time ever. Many fans see the 6v6 mode as a welcome change in the otherwise monotonous Crucible of the game. Not a few go even further and already demand the permanent incorporation of this format into the Crucible and an expansion to other game modes.
However, even though the positive tone currently prevails, there is of course also negative feedback. Some players complain about poor spawn mechanics, lags, and small maps.
And this is what users say on Mein MMO
In our comment section, many users have already expressed their opinions on the 6v6. The feedback varies significantly:
There were numerous positive comments:
Idura: “I logged in again yesterday for the first time in a long time since it was mostly reported positively here, and well… I think it’s pretty great. It’s nothing groundbreaking but a small step in the right direction!…”
MXN: “Conclusion Day 2: It’s so much fun again!…”
Blu B: “Last night I had a lot of fun again. Keep it up Bungo, please change all PvP modes to 6v6.”
Lp obc: “…Played about 10 matches yesterday and it was great to finally shine, not just team shot now… Sure, the maps are partly too small but it wasn’t mega bad, it was really fun.”
kotstulle7: “Matches my experiences as well. I was very surprised, especially due to the hardly present lag. I believe from 20 or more matches I only had one where someone suddenly thought they needed to appear in front of me….”
Snoopa: “I started playing this morning and had a lot of fun even without a team, very entertaining.”
IMiizo: “AWESOME. More needs not to be said.”
However, critical words from some users were also noticeable:
Gothsta: “For me, Iron Banner is dead. 6v6 okay on larger maps without radar. Then I might give it another chance, but the 8 rounds I had yesterday had nothing to do with fun.”
Marki Wolle: “I’ve now also tested it, besides the fact that of course any incentive and rewards are lacking, also after a match the rewards, the maps are unfortunately too small for 6v6. But it’s at least better than 4v4.”
Manuel: “One week of EB with 6v6 is not enough to restart the game. There needs to be much more coming. The direction is right, but 6v6 must be expanded to the entire PvP so that it is always available….”
Jürgen Nittel: “I tried the EB again after a long absence. AND IT’S NOT FUN! NOT LIKE IN D1! Where are the HERO MOMENTS?…”
Peter Gruber: “It’s a nice change from 4v4 … otherwise I’m quite surprised about what the author and other users can convince themselves of:-))”
We want to know – What do you think of the 6v6 in the Crucible of Destiny 2?
Finally, we want to know from as many Guardians as possible how you evaluate the current 6v6 format in the Crucible. Accordingly, we have prepared a survey for you. Please note that you only have one vote. Thank you in advance for your participation.
Bans for spoofers in Pokémon GO are now even permanent. Niantic is ramping up its fight against cheaters and sending out a wave of Pokémon GO bans.
What is spoofing? Spoofing in Pokémon GO is a topic that has various opinions. It is a type of cheating where players can change their location with the help of software without moving their bodies.
For example, a trainer could live in the last village of Bielefeld but move around in the game in Los Angeles, catching monsters there.
This helps trainers in rural areas where there are no stops or gyms. However, it clearly interferes with the gameplay of Pokémon GO and violates the rules. The developers do not want this and are now demonstrating their unwillingness very clearly by throwing the cheaters out of the game – and this time probably for good.
PokéGo++ has hit hard
Spoofers with iOS devices often resorted to the PokéGO++ application to fake a location in Pokémon GO. But now there are evidently major problems. Many bans have hit, permanently removing players from Pokémon GO.
According to a statement from a moderator of the PokéGo++ subreddit, this is not due to poor coding, but a new step from Niantic. According to his assessment, they already knew last year exactly which players were spoofing.
Recently, the Pokémon GO developers from Niantic updated the security measures. This resulted in PokeGo++ users having to take a forced break. It took only about 1.5 weeks for the spoofing app to slip through these measures and undermine Niantic’s efforts.
It seems likely that Niantic did not want to give any more chances and, as a result of the renewed breakthrough, banned the accounts of the spoofers.
Moreover, the Discord server of PokéGO++ has been deleted. According to statements from the Reddit moderator, this deletion occurred directly from Discord. The reasons are unknown.
We are talking about permabans
Since about Tuesday evening (04/17), complaints from trainers who can no longer access the game are piling up. In the past, spoofers often received only soft bans, which allowed the player to remain in the game but severely limited their functions.
Since the latest wave of bans, Niantic is no longer allowing players in and displays this error message, which in the past was only given to bot accounts (or players whose internet connection is disrupted).
Furthermore, some usernames of the banned accounts have become available again – which would be illogical with a temporary ban. Therefore, the community on Reddit is now assuming that the spoofers have also been permanently banned.
The project PokéGo++ has not been discontinued due to the bans. They seem to continue working on the app and aim to circumvent Niantic’s security measures in the future.
These permanent bans indicate how seriously Niantic takes spoofers. When Android users will be targeted is still unclear. We suspect that Niantic will also impose “order” there soon and ban spoofers.
We would like to emphasize at this point that spoofing in Pokémon GO is prohibited, and we do not advise any of you to use such services.
Strange stories surround Hearthstone. Here are the craziest cards that didn’t make it into the game.
The development of Hearthstone is full of funny anecdotes and unresolved mysteries. Some of these have now been clarified by the Game Director Ben Brode. He spoke about many details in the development, such as the craziest card ideas or why Jeff Kaplan from the Overwatch team is responsible for a very special mechanic of Hearthstone.
When asked about the craziest card ideas that simply couldn’t be implemented, Brode names several examples.
World-Flipper: As long as it’s on the board, the game is upside down.
Auto-Pecker: Whenever you hover over this minion with the mouse, it deals 1 damage to your hero – regardless of which player it is.
A sludge that costs 3 mana and has 1/1 as stats. As a Battlecry, it gains +1/+1 for each match you’ve previously lost in a row. So it got stronger with each defeat.
The Hearthstone Year 2018 is already here – with the next 2 expansions
It’s also good to know how far in advance the Hearthstone team plans. Because according to this, the Hearthstone team is already in the last development phase of the upcoming set, shortly after the release of the Witchwood. The next set has also entered its final phase.
The subsequent set (early 2019) is in early development – the team always plans a year of content in advance.

When asked whether players sometimes discover card combinations that the developers didn’t expect, the answer is: Almost every time.
This is mainly because there are only a limited number of developers, but millions of players. If just one of them has a brilliant idea, the deck spreads like wildfire. Such examples are the classic Freeze Mage or Miracle Rogue.
A currently prominent, particularly annoying combination is the Grauselhurz.
Jeff Kaplan is responsible for Exhaustion
Also interesting is the anecdote around exhaustion damage. When a player has no cards left in the deck but needs to draw one, they take increasing damage.
This was not always the case. Jeff Kaplan, the Game Director of Overwatch, had started playing Hearthstone and had gotten very into the game. He was in an exciting match and about to win – when suddenly “Defeat” appeared on the screen. Kaplan was shocked by the sudden loss, and this shock was taken as a reason to revise the system.
In physical card games, you usually lose a match when the cards are exhausted. However, that felt too devastating in Hearthstone. Instead, they wanted to utilize the growing threat of “Exhaustion” – it felt fairer and no longer negated the decisions made during the match.
Did you learn something new from Ben Brode’s video?
Monster Hunter World has received a new monster, Kulve Taroth. Learn more about unlocking, the armors, and relic weapons of the Elder Dragons here. Also, get some initial tips for fighting Kulve Taroth in the siege quest.
Kulve Taroth is a new Elder Dragon in Monster Hunter World that you can only encounter in a special siege quest. This quest has certain features of a raid, as you can participate with up to 16 players and work together on the progress of the quest. However, you also have the option to fight Kulve Taroth alone.
The fight is also divided into different phases, during which Kulve Taroth changes its behavior. Additionally, you must achieve certain goals through a points system to improve your rewards.
The “Kulve Taroth” quest is a time-limited quest that will disappear from the game after two weeks.
Unlocking Kulve Taroth and the Siege Quest
To access Kulve Taroth’s quest, you must meet the following requirements:
The main story is completed, meaning you have defeated Xeno’jiiva
Collect Gold Pieces from Kulve Taroth in Optional Quests or Expeditions
Finding Gold Pieces from Kulve Taroth easily:
Ancient Forest, Area 1
Simply start an expedition in the Ancient Forest.
Here you will find the Gold Pieces from Kulve Taroth approximately in the middle of Area 1
Unlocking the Siege Quest “Feast in the Earthen Hall”:
Once you have found the Gold Pieces, talk to the Admiral at the Trade Yard. He has a blue exclamation mark above his head.
Now speak in the Skywatcher (gathering hub) with the site girl at the quest counter.
Now you can head to the new quest area “Eldorado Caves”.
How does the new Siege Quest work?
The siege quest is a completely new form of investigation. Collect traces during the quest with up to 16 hunters, destroy body parts and inflict damage. Each participant contributes to the successful completion of the investigation.
The more tasks/goals you complete in the investigation before Kulve Taroth retreats, the better the rewards will be. Once the horns of the Elder Dragon are severed, the quest is successfully completed.
This is how the group play with 16 hunters works:
The siege quest can be played with up to 16 hunters, but also alone.
You will enter the quest in groups of four times four, but cannot see other groups. You only see your own group
However, you work with each group on the progress of the quest. If group A breaks a part of Kulve Taroth, this information will appear on group B’s screen and vice versa.
You will earn points for specific goals. Everyone in the team receives the same points when someone achieves the goal.
Kulve Taroth’s goals and points determine the value of the reward
You will need to achieve specific goals to improve your reward.
Goals can be: right chest plate – plating broken, area reached, pursuit points X reached, etc.
The system works through a points system that you can also check in the lobby at any time.
In the end, you achieve a reward level through your collective progress. The highest level seems to be 17. You increase this by completing goals.
You collect the points in the investigation, which determine how much time you have.
You collect points for the goals in the investigation itself
The more points you achieve, the more time you have to fight Kulve Taroth, as it can disappear
With each successfully completed investigation, the points are reset
If you fail in the investigation, you keep your progress
The fight against Kulve Taroth is divided into 4 phases: Fire resistance is a must!
Kulve Taroth is located in the Eldorado Caves and will go through four phases here. Here is a brief summary of how these phases look.
Phase 1: In the first phase, the Elder Dragon is in the first area of the map. Here, it takes random paths, and you must follow it. In this part of the map, there are barricades everywhere, and you will need to use Clutch Claw to move. Kulve Taroth will gradually break through the barricades here. You will also find large cannons here, which you can use to shoot at it.
Phase 2: Kulve Taroth runs to the next area, where you will encounter three elevations, similar to the Xeno’jiiva. Here, too, you can use Clutch Claw to move. In this phase, the Elder Dragon also begins to produce a kind of lava puddle, which becomes stronger in the remaining phases. Additionally, it spews a fireball that goes straight up. You are generally safe on the elevations from it, which is interesting for ranged fighters, but you must be careful of the fireballs.
Phase 3: From here, you urgently need fire resistance, as everything in this area is filled with lava. So use a cool drink, a fireproof mantle, a vitality mantle, and health boosters. In front of this room, you will also find frost mushrooms, of which you only need one to make a cool drink. Additionally, you will find many rocks in this room that you can make fall.
Phase 4: In this phase, you have broken Kulve Taroth’s parts enough that its gold shell has fallen off. The Elder Dragon is now smaller, but also significantly faster. It will perform rapid attacks, and its lava puddle can knock you out in one hit.
Note: It can certainly happen that you break the gold shell in an earlier phase. If that happens in the second phase, Kulve Taroth will run straight to the fourth phase area.
The more hunters, the better
In each phase, you must try to break as many parts as possible and read traces of Kulve Taroth. This way, you can maximize your rewards. Therefore, it is also highly recommended to travel with 16 hunters, as this can significantly boost your quest rewards.
Additionally, Kulve Taroth can disappear in every phase if you do not achieve enough goals by breaking body parts. This is already challenging to accomplish alone.
Quick Tip: Bring Flashpods for the golden Gajalaka found everywhere. These are extreme nuisances and annoy you while looting. Additionally, they draw you into combat, causing you to quickly lose track of Kulve Taroth. You will have peace from them only in the last phase.
You cannot send SOS signals, by the way.
Kulve Taroth’s strengths, weaknesses, and rewards
Here are the images from the Monster Encyclopedia to show you the strengths and weaknesses of the Elder Dragon. Interestingly, it can gain any abnormal status, allowing you to put it to sleep. Its weak points change when covered by its gold mantle.
Elemental weaknesses:
Fire: X (1)
Water: 2
Thunder: X (3)
Ice: 3 (X)
Dragon: 2 (1)
In parentheses are the weaknesses when it is covered in gold.
Status weaknesses:
Poison: 1
Sleep: 1
Paralysis: 1
Explosion: 1
Stun: 1
Rewards and breakable parts of Kulve Taroth
As a special reward, you can receive parts that grant you access to the special relic weapons. Which weapon that is, is decided by chance. However, the statistics for the various models are the same.
Kulve Taroth’s armors are extremely strong
Kulve Taroth’s armors are among the strongest that you can currently obtain in the game. The Alpha set has strong abilities, and each armor piece includes a level 1 slot for decorations.
The Beta set has a level 1 slot on each armor piece and additionally a level 2 slot or a level 3 slot. In the image below, you can individually see the skills and statistics for each armor piece. To enlarge, you can click on them.
The randomness determines which relic weapon you receive
As a reward, you obtain the special relic weapons from this quest. The value of these must be assessed first, and from this, you will receive your weapons.
In the gathering hub, you can have the weapons assessed and find out which weapon you have drawn.
The relic weapons are golden, and the different weapons will always have the same stats.
If you obtain the “Taroth Hammer Ice” and another hunter does as well, both weapons will have the same stats.
There are some better and worse relic weapons. For example, some have rarity 6, but also 8
You can further upgrade the weapons with decorations and augment
The relic weapons frequently have hidden elements
Currently, the Monster Hunter World community is working together on a relic weapon spreadsheet. In this, all weapons (in English) found by hunters worldwide from the quest are collected. The list may be temporarily closed in between. If that happens, just try again later to get in.
Below is an example of what such a relic weapon may look like.
“Kulve Taroth” quest explained in a video guide
Charles has put together a video for you, in which he explains the goal system and rewards step by step.

The new update for Star Wars Battlefront 2 is here and includes microtransactions and a new game mode. The reactions from fans have been very positive so far – players are enjoying the update. We show why.
Recently, the second major update 1.10 “Night on Endor” was released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One for Battlefront 2, with which DICE and EA want to keep the game on track. And they seem to be succeeding – the fan resonance to the current Battlefront 2 update has been surprisingly positive so far – players love the new update and are looking forward to more.
We show why the new Battlefront 2 update is well-received by fans.
New content that fans love
The update 1.10 provides fans with fresh content. Since April 18, Battlefront 2 has brought back the fight of the Ewoks against the Empire in its new limited-time mode “Ewok Hunt”.
Ewok Hunt Assault Mode
In this new mode, players fight on the forest moon of Endor either on the side of the Ewoks or the Empire. As an Ewok, you must try to eliminate the Imperial intruders, while the task of the Stormtroopers is to survive until the arrival of the approaching extraction team.
How long the mode will be available to players is currently unknown. However, it is very popular among fans, and voices are already being raised calling for a permanent inclusion of the creative Ewok hunt in Battlefront 2.
The majority of players are enthusiastic about the non-linear progression of the short battles. Fights can happen almost anywhere, and each battle feels different. In short – the mode is a lot of fun for fans, and the majority of players view it as a significant addition to the game.
New Outfits
With the “Night on Endor” update, over 50 additional outfits for further personalization of favorite characters have also been introduced to the game. Especially due to the overhaul of the progression and microtransaction system, the cosmetic items have generally become very popular. The new outfits from the update are also well-received by players.
The outfits can be purchased directly with real money as well as with in-game credits – there is no longer a random factor like with loot boxes.
The in-game credit prices of the skins are now well-balanced according to the majority of the community. They are neither excessively expensive nor too cheap, and players must make a reasonable effort to earn their desired outfits. The higher rewards for daily challenges also contribute to this good balance.
Finally acceptable microtransactions and fair progression
The current update 1.10 for Battlefront 2 also completes the transition of the game from a microtransaction nightmare to a fundamentally fair business model.
After overhauling the progression system back in March 2018, microtransactions have now returned in a fair form along with the update – the crystal currency has been reintroduced. This allows players to purchase cosmetic outfits even without the in-game currency and thus change the appearance of their characters.
The crystals themselves can be purchased with real money. Outfits can also be exchanged for credits earned through in-game activities.
While some players consider the real-money prices of some outfits to be too high, the majority of fans are satisfied with the current microtransactions and the improved progression system and consider both to be fair and reasonable.
The biggest mistakes have been fixed
While there are still some minor bugs and performance issues, fans have largely shown satisfaction with the general and technical state of the game now.
The patch 1.10 has fixed the biggest balancing and gameplay issues of Battlefront 2 (link to release notes in the Battlefront 2 forum) and now paves the way for the DICE developers to finally work on the free DLCs promised to fans during the last E3 gaming convention, to expand the game into a better overall experience.
Fans are satisfied with the current direction
While many negative and skeptical voices were heard prior to the update, fans now appear to be satisfied with the work of DICE. In the eyes of many, the studio finally delivers with the “Night on Endor” update exactly what was promised.
On Reddit and other forums, the positive comments from players about the new update 1.10 have been predominant after release. It is often remarked that Battlefront 2 offers a reconciliatory gameplay experience with the latest updates, and people are returning because of that.
A Reddit user humorously noted that the worst thing about the new update is that it was released during the week, making it difficult to fully enjoy.
Have you had a chance to play the new update yet? What is your opinion on it? Is Battlefront 2 on the right track?
In Fortnite (PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS), a comet has been hovering in the sky for a long time, even making strange noises when aimed at. Using a spectrogram, fans have now discovered what the mysterious sounds mean.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the comet is currently the hot topic. The celestial body is steadily approaching the map and is now frighteningly close. An impact is currently anticipated, with expectations of widespread destruction, such as the destruction of Tilted Towers.
But there are more secrets about the comet. It makes noises!
What does the mysterious humming mean?
When you take aim at the comet, a strange hum can be heard. We have embedded a video of it here. This has piqued the curiosity of some players. A Reddit user named Lucas7yoshi wanted to know more and recorded the sounds from the game.

He then loaded the sounds into a spectrogram software called “Spek” and had them analyzed. Spectrograms provide a visual representation of sound waves. This can be used to decode secret messages, among other things.
And indeed, his detective work paid off! The spectrogram produced usable image data, specifically the animation for the silly emote dance “Take the L” from the game! We have embedded the song and the spectrogram image from the game here for you.
Why exactly this silly emote is visually represented as sound by the comet and why the developers included such an Easter egg in the game remains a mystery.

Yesterday, Black Desert Online received another patch that alters the way Crowd Control abilities function in PvP, among other things. Players have wanted changes to the PvP system for a while, but many fans believe that Pearl Abyss is tackling the issue a bit too radically with the current patch.
Black Desert fans on Reddit are currently drawing comparisons between Black Desert after the current patch and a burning house.
But what exactly happened?
No more Crowd Control combos
This is how it was before the update: Before the patch, effects like stun, freeze, and knockback were considered as a set. Another set included the effects of knockdown, downward smash, and throw. “Grabbing” was not part of any of these sets and could almost always be applied (except during invincibility).
The sets worked such that while affected by the effect of one set, a player was immune to other effects in the same set.
Classes that had the talent for grabbing had an advantage over classes that did not possess the skill.
This is how it is with the new update: With the new patch, the effects of knockdown, downward smash, throw, knockback, stun, and grabbing are considered one set and can only be activated a maximum of two times on the target within 5 seconds.
During this “cooldown,” the target is immune to Crowd Control effects, which is supposed to improve the balance between classes. Kakao Games has already announced that they will continue to look at the PvP system and may make further changes.
The right way
Players on Reddit appreciate that Pearl Abyss is addressing the PvP system and attempting to improve it. However, the fact that Crowd Control (CC) is greatly restricted with the new patch has upset some players.
Redditor One_Man_Moose_Pack does not agree with the adjustments. He says that if you can’t kill anyone within two CC after the patch, you can’t kill anyone at all.
Another user on Reddit, however, believes that these adjustments are a step in the right direction: “We hate getting oneshot”
Pearl Abyss wants to continue working on class balance in the coming weeks to make the classes as equally strong as possible.
Fans of the hardcore online shooter Escape from Tarkov are still waiting for the launch of the open beta. With patch 0.8, we are now one step closer to this testing phase. And the new trailer really gets you excited for the open beta, whenever it will start.
Players who want a tougher challenge in an online shooter are particularly looking forward to Escape from Tarkov: Every hit can mean the end. Wandering through the game areas alone is not a particularly good idea.
Escape from Tarkov aims to provide such a hardcore gaming experience.
The open beta is expected to be imminent, and with a new patch, the team shows what it has been working on recently.
New update brings new content
What patch 0.8 includes is demonstrated by the developers in a video. This includes:
Based on the approximately four-minute gameplay video, you can see how detailed the new map is and what tactical options it provides. You can expect plenty of action.
In the MMORPG Bless, two factions clash – the Hieron and the Union. This ignites a war fought over independence and differing worldviews.
This is a common theme in many MMORPGs: Two (sometimes more) realms are at war. Players join a faction and often clash with players from the opposing side. This is also the case in Bless. Here, too, there are two factions that fundamentally represent different values, leading to a conflict that escalates into a faction war.
A Deep-Rooted Conflict
The war is born from the fundamentally different views of the two realms, Hieron and Union.
Hieron:
The faction rules over the northern continent and represents a “Holy Alliance”
The Hieron defeated the barbarian tribes and ended the era of darkness in the world
Led by the Hawk Empire, the alliance protects the northern lands from the recurring raids of the barbarian tribes
Hieron believes that order is maintained through values, virtues, and authority
The alliance thinks that the world lacks these qualities and is hence a corrupted place
Hieron aims to unite all civilized peoples of the continent and implement its own world order
Union:
The faction was founded by the Amistad, a people of humans living on the southern continent
The Amistad belonged to the Light Realm, which was destroyed by a catastrophe
The Amistad were freed by the Hawk Empire and regained prosperity and peace
However, the Amistad wanted to return to the former glory of the Light Realm, but the worldview of the Hieron stands in their way
The Amistad believe that the issues in the world arise from the unchanged status system and the hierarchical social structure
They seek new ideas and new values and strive for independence, which does not align with the worldview of the Hieron
No Chance for Peace
The independence war in which the two factions in Bless find themselves was initiated by the Amistad because they no longer wanted to pay tribute to the Hieron. Other peoples joined the Amistad, leading to the founding of the Union.

On the map of Fortnite: Battle Royale, there are five taco shops identifiable by the glowing letters above the entrance. You must visit three out of the five shops in a single match to earn the stars for the battle pass.
The order in which you visit the taco shops is up to you – however, you should keep an eye on the storm’s progression to avoid being caught off guard at the end.
The following image shows all locations and possible routes to complete the task:
Follow the treasure map from Moisty Mire in Fortnite: Battle Royale!
As in previous weeks, you do not need to find the treasure map – it is sufficient to go directly to the marked spot. Once you have found the correct location, a battle star will appear as if by magic that you just have to collect.
The treasure is located at the blue map marker.
You do not have to wade through the swamps of Moisty Mire and can go directly to the marked spot on the house with the two chimneys south of Retail Row. The exact location of the treasure is marked in the following image:
The treasure is on the roof of the house with the two chimneys.

Finally, there is a map selection for PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds), where you can choose your desired map before starting and no longer have to rely on chance.
Since the second map “Miramar” was released in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, players had to accept their fate. It decided for them before the start of a round on which map the battle would take place: on the green Erangel map or in the desert of Miramar.
This was problematic, because as it is with maps in online shooters, some are simply not well received by players: Many PUBG players hated the newer desert map Miramar.
With the new feature, Bluehole wants to give you back a piece of gaming quality.
Map Selection in PUBG – Finally choose between Miramar or Erangel
In recent months, the calls from the community have grown louder. People want a map selection to exclude their “hate map” and not be forced to play on it (or leave the match early). In between, players even came up with the idea to remove a map from the game data so that PUBG doesn’t even consider selecting it.
In an announcement on Steam, the developers now explain that map selection will be implemented in PUBG. However, they had to clear up some issues first. To make the selection work, the developers gathered feedback from players worldwide and are now satisfied with this version of the map selection:
They want to closely monitor the selection when new maps come into play and possibly make adjustments. The UI shown in the screenshot could ultimately look different in-game. However, it should work as follows:
You can select maps you want to play with a click
If you do not want to play a map, you simply remove it from the selection
If you have selected more than one map, the game will randomly select which one you play on
The work on this new feature is nearing completion for testing on the test servers. An exact release date has not yet been set.
We wanted to know from you what the most beautiful tier sets in World of Warcraft are. Today we present to you the winners.
With Battle for Azeroth, Blizzard is finally saying goodbye to the classic principle of tier sets in World of Warcraft. Set bonuses are now a thing of the past, and the typical sets visually adapted to the class will no longer exist.
The Warlock had just under 1 percent more votes with the “Corruptor Rainment” – the Tier 5 set. Like almost no other set in the game, the clothing practically screams “EVIL” at you. Fiery red eyes, impaled skulls, and a dark “cultist” look ensure that the set, with 22 percent of the votes, has become your absolute number 1.
2nd Place: The Paladin (Tier 2)
When thinking of a Paladin from World of Warcraft, the Tier 2 set from the Blackwing Lair automatically comes to mind. The Judgement Armor is the most popular set of the Paladin and lands in second place with 21 percent of all votes. You don’t have the set yet? Then head to Blackrock Depths and farm! Without this set, you are not a true Paladin.
3rd Place: Priest (Tier 6)
With only a single vote ahead, the Priest set secured third place in this survey. The Tier 6 from the Black Temple is particularly popular among Shadow Priests – so much so that it has even been remastered in the Tomb of Sargeras and is now available in better resolution. 10 percent of the votes put it in third place.
The upcoming class sets did not make it to the podium. However, we do not want to withhold the ranking from you.
The remaining votes went to the following sets:
4th Place: Rogue – Tier 2 (10%)
5th Place: Death Knight – Tier 10 (8%)
6th Place: Warrior – Tier 5 (7%)
7th Place: Shaman – Tier 6 (5%)
8th Place: Hunter – Tier 19 (5%)
9th Place: Mage – Tier 18 (4%)
10th Place: Druid – Tier 1 (3%)
11th Place: Demon Hunter – Tier 20 (3%)
12th Place: Monk – Tier 18 (2%)
Which set did you vote for? Do you find the ranking justified?
The upcoming DLC “Warmind” will introduce a new level system in Destiny 2. In an early TWAB, the developers mentioned that individual performance and reaching the maximum power level will become more significant in the future.
In the current TWAB, Bungie’s Senior Designer, Daniel Auchenpaugh, discussed how reaching the maximum power level at the launch of Destiny 2 was too easy and happened too quickly. This made leveling up one’s character feel unsatisfying, especially since there were no activities that truly required reaching the maximum level.
With the release of the second DLC, “Warmind”, this will change.
New Significance for the Max Level
According to Auchenpaugh, reaching the maximum level in Destiny 2 will regain significance and a sense of triumph. The changes introduced with the second DLC will therefore apply to everything in Destiny 2 and not just the endgame activities of “Warmind”.
Additionally, the grind of Public Events for a chance at Exotic Weapons and Clan Engrams will have less impact on endgame progression in the future.
Bungie’s intention is that for all players participating in weekly activities, it will take several weeks to reach the new level cap. The soft cap, which can be easily reached through drops from all sources, will be at 340 with the upcoming DLC, while the maximum power level that players can reach with the help of weekly reward sources will be set at 380.
Furthermore, +5 mods have not yet been accounted for, so the new maximum power level with “Warmind” will be 385.
Raids and Trials will provide the biggest level boost, while Clan Engrams will only grant a very small level advantage. Rewards from other weekly sources will fall somewhere between these activities.
Players who do not participate in weekly group activities are unlikely to reach the cap before the next release; passionate completionists will reach it before those who focus exclusively on raids or Trials.
The farming of Exotics outside of weekly activities will no longer be a viable way to increase your power level once you’ve reached the soft cap. If you receive Exotics from a non-weekly source, their power level will match that of legendary Engrams.
These changes to quest rewards and the farming of Exotics are intended to ensure that players achieve the power maximum most effectively by participating in as many different challenges and weekly activities as possible.
Moreover, leveling itself is expected to progress significantly slower than players are currently accustomed to. Bungie anticipates that it will take roughly the same amount of time to go from 340 to 370 as it does from 370 to 380.
Less Power from Clan Engrams
Clan Engrams will in the future serve to help reach the new soft cap of power level 340 in Destiny 2. Up to this level, the Engrams will grant rewards that are, on average, about 15 power higher than the currently best possible gear.
Once the soft cap is reached, Clan Engrams will only grant rewards that are about 0 to 2 points above the best possible gear.
To prevent exploits with newly created characters and one-time quest rewards, rewards will be capped at the soft cap of the release they appeared in. The cap for launch quests of Destiny 2 will therefore be set at 260, while “Curse of Osiris” will be at 300 and “Warmind” at 340.
However, the calculation of reward drops will not change: The rewards will still be calculated based on “the best possible power.” It does not matter whether the gear is equipped, in the vault, or on another character.
After PUBG and Fortnite, Battlefield 5 also wants to take a step into the battle royale genre. However, this mode, if it even comes, is expected to be released later. The question is: Does Battlefield 5 need such a mode?
Battle royale modes are still a hot topic in the gaming community. Leading the genre are games like Fortnite and PUBG. But new games like Radical Heights are also trying to cash in on the hype. It therefore seems only logical that popular game series like Battlefield would at least consider such a mode.
DICE is reportedly currently testing a prototype of a BR mode for the Battlefield shooter and is closely watching the big players.
Battle Royale in Battlefield 5
The developer studio DICE is currently working on an early version of the battle royale mode for Battlefield V. This is explained by the website VentureBeat, which received this information through an anonymous source connected to the studio.
In these game modes, usually 100 people jump in at the same time onto a battlefield, equip themselves with weapons and gear, and fight until only one remains. With this simple game principle, games like Fortnite are currently taking the gaming market worldwide.
DICE is currently developing Battlefield V, which is set to be released this year. With this, they aim to not only appeal to fans of the series but also stretch their feelers and offer competition to the big players PUBG and Fortnite. They already have a massive audience of tens of thousands of players – and some rappers.
Reportedly, DICE is currently testing how a massive last-man-standing mode would work with the usual Battlefield mechanics.
BR Mode Not Coming at Battlefield 5 Release
According to the anonymous source, you should not expect to jump into this mode directly at the launch of Battlefield V. So far, there is no green light for the mode – everything is still in prototype phase. If DICE is satisfied with the BR, it will not be ready fast enough for the release.
It is said: If all goes well, Battlefield: Battle Royale could be unlocked as a new part of Battlefield V through a free update after the release of the game.
Since EA did not want to comment on this, we are currently viewing it as a rumor.
Does Battlefield 5 Even Need a BR Mode? Our Opinion
The news about a potential BR mode for Battlefield V is not welcomed by all players. And that is understandable. Game series like Battlefield or Call of Duty have established themselves over many years because they exude their own charm.
Anyone who loves these games knows how they feel. To outsiders, the FPS shooters may seem “somehow all the same”, but every Battlefield fan can tell you exactly what makes the game special and why it is very different from other shooters. The same goes for Call of Duty.
If now everyone wants to jump on the battle royale train, fans fear that this special charm will disappear. Of course, a BR mode in Battlefield would still be something different than in Call of Duty. But these game modes do not make the games special; after all, many have a deathmatch mode and nobody complains about that.
On Reddit, user My_Dude_Whats_Up writes that “Battlefield and CoD should focus on what made them great.” – The fear that other game modes will suffer if a BR mode is developed is prevalent among fans.
Fortnite receives update 3.5 for Battle Royale and “Save the World” today on April 19th for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and iOS. The patch notes mention a new mode, a new LMG weapon, and some lucrative compensations for last week’s server downtime: Players will receive double EXP for 4 days.
Massive compensation for the server downtime in Fortnite
In Battle Royale, players will earn double experience points from today until Sunday – additionally, players receive a one-time reward of 20 Battle Stars
In Save the World, players will receive a Storm Llama daily until Sunday – plus, 1600 Seasonal Gold
Additionally, Epic states: We have improved the resilience of the servers to avoid such long downtimes in the future.
The highlights of the patch notes for Fortnite: Battle Royale
The 50v50 2.0 mode is in the game. We have already presented this new limited-time mode in detail. The 50v50 mode was supposed to come last week, but Epic postponed it because they wanted to be cautious after the server crash.
The Light Machine Gun is coming. It comes in “rare and epic” variants. It has 100 shots in the magazine and a reload time of 5 seconds. It deals 25 damage (rare) and 26 damage (epic).
The highlights of the patch notes for Save the World
A new quest line comes with “Storm’s Advance: Encore”. At the end, the player can probably acquire one of these two heroes. According to in-game messages, these are supposed to be “legendary heroes”. So the second highest category.
And also in Save the World, a new weapon comes with the “Mercury LMG”. It is available in the event shop.
The exciting question remains after the patch notes: Will something happen with the comet? There is no mention of this in the Fortnite patch notes, so we will have to wait until the servers are back online.
On January 23, the biggest battle of all time was supposed to take place in the space MMO EVE Online – but due to lags, the fight flopped – nonetheless, the battle entered the Guinness World Records.
It was supposed to be the largest battle in EVE Online to date. Over 6,000 players wanted to participate, which would have destroyed ships worth about one million dollars. But the battle flopped. Server issues and lags led to an early cancellation of the fight.
The servers of EVE Online simply buckled under the pressure of the players, making it impossible to think about conducting the fight.
The battle that wasn’t
Since then, fans of EVE Online have expressed their disappointment and are demanding that developer CCP Games make optimizations to allow for such gigantic confrontations to be fought. The development team promised improvements but cannot guarantee that the situation will change anytime soon.
Entry in the Guinness World Records
Nonetheless, the situation had something good: The battle that wasn’t makes it into the Guinness World Records. Not because so many ships were destroyed and so much money wasted, but because so many players were online at the same time in a PvP-based online game and participants in a battle.
6,142 players were in the game area at the same time and wanted to participate in the battle. Even though there was no large fight, the players were still online. And this alone was enough for the record.
On May 8, 2018, the update 1.2.0 brings, among other things, revamped exotic weapons for Destiny 2. Bungie showcases some examples of the overhauled Exotics ahead of the update’s release.
Now the studio shows how the exotic weapons Dawnblazer and Rat King will play in the future.
Kabal Tech Upgrade in Action – The Dawnblazer
Initially, Bungie showed in a familiar manner through a short clip how the revamped version of the exotic Scout Rifle Dawnblazer will play. Senior Designer Jon Weisnewski then explained the changes to this weapon.

The Dawnblazer scout rifle is a relatively solid weapon that is suitable for various ranges and works with different fire rates and damage outputs both when using the sights and from the hip.
When using the scope, the weapon fires slower but deals higher damage. Additionally, it deals more damage against Cabal adversaries and can penetrate Phalanx shields.
However, this weapon never really felt exotic. It plays almost like any other scout. To counter this, Bungie has now equipped the weapon’s projectiles with explosive rounds when fired from the hip. When using the sights, the weapon will behave as before: fully automatic, slow fire rate, high penetration.
When firing from the hip with the Dawnblazer, the exotic scout now fires slower projectiles with a faster fire rate that track targets and then explode.
The tracking pulls the projectiles more towards the opponent’s body instead of precision areas like the head, which is why Bungie has slightly reduced the precision damage scaling and increased body damage. Precision hits still grant bonus damage and damage over time is increased.
The end result is a weapon with dual functionality: when fired with the sights, it fires penetrating projectiles with high damage. From the hip, it fires fast, arcing, tracking projectiles that explode upon impact. According to Weisnewski, it feels almost like a rapid-fire grenade launcher that can become a precision killer with the push of a button.
Swarm Pack Eats Through Cabal Ranks – The New Rat King
After previewing the Dawnblazer, Bungie subsequently presented the upcoming changes to the exotic pistol Rat King in the current TWaB blog. The video already featured the Masterwork version of this exotic Hand Cannon.

The Rat King is an exotic pistol that becomes stronger the more members of a fireteam have it equipped. This effect was previously stackable up to six times. Additionally, when wielding the weapon, you become invisible for a short time after reloading immediately following a kill. The developers at Bungie also saw improvement potential with this exotic weapon.
As the number of Rat King users in the fireteam increases, the weapon’s rate of fire benefits the most. Unfortunately, the weapon does not unleash its potential in this regard as originally intended by the developers.
Some players misunderstand the benefits of the increased rate of fire or do not use it correctly, as they simply cannot pull the trigger fast enough. Many apparently do not even know about it.
To make this potential easily recognized and felt, the developers have turned the Rat King into a fully automatic weapon so that the increase in fire rate always brings an advantage and is always noticeable when you are out in a pack. A further criticism was that the intrinsic perk Swarm had previously only activated when other allies were actually wielding the Rat King. The studio found this too situational and restrictive. Therefore, the Swarm perk now activates as soon as other fireteam members have the Rat King equipped in the kinetic slot, holstered, or in hand.
Furthermore, the benefits of Swarm now increase more drastically when the weapon is already carried by one or two additional fireteam members. Additionally, Bungie has increased the invisibility timer of the perk Swarm to seven seconds.
What do you think of the latest examples of upcoming changes to Exotics? Is Bungie on the right track?
Recently, there has been a significant increase in comet sightings in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Is this the undeniable proof that the Tilted Towers will fall today? After all, a server maintenance is taking place!
The comet, which has been looming over the Fortnite: Battle Royale map like a sword of Damocles for weeks now, has already become iconic. It seems to grow larger every week. Recently, the first outbursts of the comet can now be observed as they burn up in the atmosphere.
However, everything could also turn out differently – as popular as the comet is in the community, Epic’s silence on the matter is even more legendary.
For the community, it is clear: today or next week, the Tilted Towers will be history. And the community is celebrating the impending comet impact with memes and events!
Cool events and memes surrounding the comet in Fortnite: Battle Royale
A few hours ago, players arranged to meet in the Tilted Towers on Reddit to flatten the city. An impossible task? Well, in a few cases, it actually worked, as the following image proves:
The comet impact also calls the community’s comedians to action. One Redditor suggests that the comet is nothing more than a gigantic shotgun that, well, causes damage to the Tilted Towers:
Others speculate that the comet could also miss the Tilted Towers due to the bloom mechanics. Either way – something will happen.
Today’s server maintenance as preparation for the big impact?
Today, on April 19th, a server maintenance is taking place. Will it herald the end of the Tilted Towers? We will only know more after the maintenance. However, the comet is likely to impact at the latest next week – signaling the end of Season 3.
So far, Epic has not provided any details about the new Season 4, but interesting scenarios can be played out regarding a comet impact. Will dinosaurs come? Although that would not fit chronologically, it would thematically. Medieval scenario speculations are also plausible.
Robert says: Even though the theory that the Tilted Towers will fall is very popular – I don’t believe it. It is very unlikely that Epic will completely destroy a city that has been painstakingly integrated into the game. Instead, new locations should be created to curb the popularity of the Tilted Towers and better distribute the players.
This would be significantly more sensible than robbing your own game of content. The theory that this is merely a new mode or that the new Season 4 is thematically initiated is much more likely!
Either way – today after maintenance or at the latest by the end of Season 3, we will be wiser!
What do you think? When will the comet strike?
