Fans find hints of a new weekly event in Destiny 2. The Armsweek reminds players of the weapon days from Destiny 1 and allows them to earn new rewards with restricted loadouts.
Inquisitive Guardians have stumbled upon hints of a new mode while browsing the official Bungie homepage. It seems that the weapon days known from Destiny 1 will find their way back to Destiny 2 in a revised form. Bungie is turning weapon days into Armsweek.
Armsweek – What is known so far
How the weapon days went: On the weekly weapon day in Destiny 1, players could test and order various weapons from Gunsmith Banshee-44 since the “Taken King” expansion. In the following week, he would bring the orders, and the Guardians could order new weapons again. It was possible to gain reputation and, at a certain rank, even receive exclusive exotic weapon quests.
What is known about Armsweek: The focus of Armsweek will likely be on having players complete certain activities with prescribed equipment configurations. Guardians will be able to earn special rewards. It is currently unknown whether the Gunsmith will be involved again and how often the event will take place.
However, there are descriptions of three different Nightfall strikes that will be undertaken with restricted loadouts. At the end, there will be Masterwork catalysts as rewards.
For instance, in the Nightfall version of Savathûn’s Song, there are upgrades for the Masterworks of Hard Light
and the exotic hand cannon Rat King. In the weapons dealer Nightfall, you can find the catalyst for the Prospector grenade launcher.
Additionally, there will apparently be a new strike mode where the choice of weapons will also be limited. It is not yet known whether there will be special rewards as a result.
Whether other strikes or additional specific rewards will come with Armsweek is still unclear at this point.
An official announcement or even a release date for this feature is still pending. However, a foreseeable release of Armsweek in summer 2018 seems very likely in this context.
Bungie recently announced that they will gradually equip all weapon exotics with Masterworks in the near future. Both Rat King and Hard Light and the Prospector cannot currently be upgraded to Masterworks. The reason for this is most likely Armsweek.
Other exotic Masterwork catalysts are likely to be integrated similarly. Recent analyses of data mining suggest that further catalysts, such as for the Sunshot or the Graviton Lance, are tied to the faction fights and their respective factions.
Less than a week remains until the release of content patch 4.3 of Final Fantasy XIV on May 22. Square Enix inundates players with new screenshots of new armor, mounts, and other collectibles. Images of a new hairstyle are also included.
The MMORPG FFXIV already has a huge arsenal of collectible items such as mounts and companions: With each patch, the collection keeps growing. Here is a small sneak preview of the loot that will be available for players in patch 4.3.
Fashion is the true endgame
The new 24-player raid Ridorana Lighthouse also brings new equipment sets, designed after outfits from the Final Fantasy Tactics games.
The gear will most likely have an item level of 360 and serve as “catch-up gear.”
The new dungeon “Swallow’s Compass” will also include new equipment sets. These were created based on the designs of the winners of the design competition.
In addition to combat gear, there will also be a new dress for those who love glamour among the players:
There will also be at least one new hairstyle for male and female characters:
Preview of the mounts and companions from patch 4.3
As usual, players will receive a new Kamuy Wolf from the new extreme trial that Square Enix has kept super secret for spoiler reasons.
The quests of the Namazu tribe, available from May 22 for collectors and crafters, also have a new mount for you.
To obtain this mount, players will likely need to reach the highest rank of reputation with the Namazu.
You can watch the demonstration of the new Namazu mount here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nj08m8jsQYI
Finally, Square Enix teased a new logistics system mount. As with the red predecessor, it will be obtained as a reward for PvP matches.
Magnai and Sadu will also be available as companions from patch 4.3.
The two leaders of the Au Ra tribes, Oronir and Dotharl, will most likely be available as rewards for the Namazu tribe quests, as these will take place directly in the Azim Steppe.
You can watch the trailer for the patch here:

In FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, there is currently a weekly challenge that divides the community. When it comes to online victories, some players seem to go to any lengths.
Additionally, there is currently a weekly task to earn a TOTS card under certain conditions.
This week, the weekly challenge has put the FIFA community in an uproar because: What is supposed to create unity among players is being shamelessly exploited by some gamers.
The community tries to help each other with the challenge
What is the weekly task to master? Since Friday, May 11 at 7 PM, there is a challenge to score two goals with MLS players, that is, players from the American Soccer League, in ten separate matches. If you achieve this within a week, you will receive a “Team of the Season” card featuring Diego Valeri.
Why does everyone want this TOTS card? TOTS cards are highly sought after. They have received strong upgrades and have good stats. Additionally, there are TDS SBCs twice a week, where you can trade a TOTS card for a better TOTS player.
What is the challenge’s difficulty? The matches must be played in “Online Seasons” mode. There are ten leagues here, with the best players in League 1 and the weakest in League 10. Playing in the lower leagues, scoring ten goals with MLS players is not an issue, but in League 1, it becomes challenging. There aren’t many strong MLS cards, and scoring against the best FIFA players is hard enough as it is.
This method helps players to assist each other
In the upper leagues of FUT Seasons, a method has emerged:
Create an MLS team. Before the match, you will see the badge, Gamertag, club name, and team name of the opponent. The latter can be changed for any team created in your FUT club.
Clarify intent in the name. If you want to participate in the MLS Challenge, change your name to “2 MLS Goals”, “MLS Challenge plz”, or something similar. This way, you can manually filter and start matches only with like-minded players.
Let each other score. Then you take turns letting the other player score a goal with an MLS player. From 2:2 onwards, you continue playing as if the game started at 0:0.
Bad gamers exploit the goodwill of the FIFA community
Not everyone wants to participate in the weekly task. Some have already completed it or simply do not need the TOTS card. Of course, there is nothing wrong with playing regular Online Seasons.
However, some of these people take advantage of the helpfulness of other gamers. These players pretend that they also want to complete the challenge.
They create a team named “MLS Goals” or something similar. Then they also include at least one MLS player in their starting lineup. Potential victims now believe they are facing someone like-minded.
If the opponent is trusting of the fraudster and lets them score the first goal, they will start their nefarious plan.
Instead of allowing the opponent to score their goals with MLS players as well, they continue to play normally and defend properly. Thus, they “cheat” their way to a 1-2 goal lead.
Especially in the upper leagues, where the matches are extremely balanced, 1-2 goals can often make the difference between victory and defeat.
Exploited players express their discontent
This weekly task separated the helpful players from those who only see their own success. This obviously caused discontent and discussions on platforms like reddit.

Many players report how opponents tried to fool them. Some still won the match, while others did not. For those, this is particularly frustrating:
They have neither gotten one step closer to the weekly challenge nor earned a point in the online seasons, although they may have won or at least drawn under normal circumstances.
Philipp says: I too have encountered some of these “cheaters”. While one is still more motivated to win the game in the end, doing so with half an MLS team and a 1-2 goal deficit is not exactly easy. Nevertheless, I had good experiences as well. In 14 matches, I met ten people who let me score two goals. A nice conversation also developed through the microphone feature due to the MLS challenge, even though there was initial distrust.
What have your experiences been with the MLS weekly task?

For a big game from 2K, more development time is now needed. Is this referring to Borderlands 3?
Earlier this year, Take-Two stated that they want to release a “highly anticipated title” by March 2019. Fans speculated about the sequel to the shooter Borderlands, which has already delighted many gamers in the past with its dark humor.
It seems we may have to wait longer for Borderlands 3, as the unannounced game is now supposed to be released by March 2020 at the latest.
Borderlands 3 Release – So when is it now?
In the recently released financial report, Take-Two’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, again talked about this highly anticipated game, one of the biggest 2K franchises. However, this is now expected to come after March 2019, in fiscal year 2020.
Although the game is not mentioned by name here, fans suspect that this is a reference to Borderlands 3. There are many indications for this. Gearbox repeatedly conveys: We are working with 400 people on Borderlands 3. However, the game has not yet been officially announced, so the name is never mentioned.
What is the new timeframe? The fiscal year 2020 runs from April 1, 2019 to March 2020. At some point during this period, the title may be released.
Why was the game postponed? Zelnick did not provide specific reasons. Perhaps he did not want to give away too many details or hints about the title. It is only said that the title is being given more development time.
No news on Borderlands 3 at E3 2018
There were many rumors that Borderlands 3 would have a huge presence at the upcoming E3 2018. But these dreams have now burst. In a series of tweets, the Gearbox head explained that Borderlands 3 is not represented at E3 2018. This was later confirmed by another Gearbox employee.
It is unclear when Borderlands 3 will be officially confirmed and when fans will finally receive more details about the “highly anticipated title of one of the largest 2K franchises.” Until then, the community sustains itself with small teasers about the game. Borderlands really wants a flamethrower from Elon Musk.

Bungie can’t seem to get a handle on the bugs in Destiny 2 at all. With hotfix 1.2.0.2, the issue with progress in heroic strikes was supposed to be resolved. However, the bug continues to haunt many players despite the update.
What happened? Since the release of the Warmind expansion, numerous players have been plagued by an annoying bug in Destiny 2. This bug prevents the successful completion of a heroic strike from being counted as progress for a quest and the weekly milestones. Players are unable to complete the milestones or finish the quest.
Hotfix available – Problem persists: According to Bungie, the hotfix 1.2.0.2 from May 15, 2018, should have resolved the problem. However, this does not appear to be the case. Players continue to complain on Reddit and other forums that the issue still occurs frequently.
Bungie has once again taken on the issue and is investigating the reports. They are currently asking players for further feedback.

Can the bug be worked around? As soon as the error became known, Bungie promptly offered a temporary solution for the issue. This workaround still seems to work. Here’s what you should keep in mind to avoid the bug:
Gather all fireteam members who are not from matchmaking before selecting the heroic strike playlist in the director.
Ensure that no one joins your fireteam after the heroic strike playlist has been selected. Also, no fireteam member should be in the game menu before the activity starts.
If a player sees a strike title (e.g., “The Arms Dealer”) when selecting the heroic strike playlist in the director, they should exit the director and select the heroic strike playlist again. Only when it says “Heroic Strike Playlist” will players actually start this playlist.
Once the heroic strike playlist has been successfully started and players are heading towards the objective, they can easily switch equipment, adjust settings, and view their inventory in their menu.
Before the release, concerns were growing about the new MMORPG Bless Online. Some questionable decisions during a controversial event caused a lot of uproar. Neowiz has now found a response to this.
Bless developer Neowiz responds: In an FAQ about monetization, the Bless developer addresses player criticism, reveals details about the premium membership, and announces initial changes. The $200 customer service will be completely removed, and the price of the largest package will be reduced by $50.
Why were fans concerned?
There are 4 things that worry fans ahead of the release:
Neowiz announced a premium membership through the founder packs, which players believed would grant many advantages.
Buyers of the $200 founder pack were supposed to receive preferential customer service, which was not well received.
Bless will offer a cash shop, about which very little is known. Neowiz kept this under wraps, leading fans to interpret it as a warning signal.
These 4 issues were criticized by fans, especially since this is a Buy2Play title. For many, whether they give Bless Online a chance depends on the contents of the cash shop and the premium membership.
Players wanted details: Neowiz had already commented on the topic of “Pay2Win” months ago, emphasizing that there would be no Pay2Win in Bless. This was recently reaffirmed, that Bless would focus on friendly microtransactions. But this was not enough for players after the latest announcements.
What’s included in the premium membership
The new monetization FAQ from the developer addresses the players’ questions. Below are the highlights.
The premium membership:
Players receive special mount and pet skins and pay 30% less for equipment repair.
They receive items that allow them to gather herbs and mine ores infinitely.
There are 20% more experience points for defeating monsters, 20% more found gold, and 20% more dungeon points.
Players can exchange 10% more PvP and PvE points for the premium currency Lumena daily.
Additionally, Neowiz is lowering the price of the most expensive founder pack from $199.99 to $149.99. The premium customer service will no longer exist.
Bless assures: No DLCs, no hidden bonuses on costumes
More details in the “Anti-Pay2Win” statement from Bless:
There is no 1:1 exchange of dollars for euros, but prices are set individually.
The item that allows you to avoid PvP costs gold up to level 45, and at max level then the premium currency.
There is an item that allows dungeon resets, but they do not want to sell it for cash.
Costumes have no hidden bonus effects, but are only cosmetic.
Bless offers an auction house, but no player-to-player trading – they want to avoid a black market.
Bless plans no purchasable DLC. They want to bring content updates – there should be a patch every month, and a major update every 3 months.
You can view the complete changes and answers to Pay2Win questions in the FAQ on Steam.
After players solved a complicated puzzle that revealed the date “May 23, 2018”, the confirmation comes: Battlefield V will be revealed next Wednesday in a livestream.

What can we expect? Players are naturally eager for all kinds of information about the shooter. The setting of the shooter is not yet known. However, a leak already announced in March that the game will be called “Battlefield V” and reportedly takes place in World War II. Because even EA now calls the game Battlefield V, this part of the leak is confirmed – a setting in World War II seems plausible.
Most recently, at the EA investor conference, it was revealed that Battlefield 5 will offer multiple multiplayer modes as well as a single-player campaign. There are also rumors that the next installment of the Battlefield franchise could include a Battle Royale mode, similar to Fortnite or PUBG.
Hidden message led to the date
This is how fans got to May 23: Recently, players managed to solve a complex puzzle in Battlefield 1. They had to destroy signs and pull levers in a specific order on the map Fort Vaux.
Behind it was a mysterious drop that clever players converted into Morse code. The code led to a website where the date May 23, 2018, was given – the date of the reveal for Battlefield V.
The MMORPG Revelation Online will in the future be managed by a single team taking care of both the European and US version as well as the Russian version.
Merging of the Game
A producer for Europe, the USA, and Russia. While Revelation Online was previously divided into the USA/Europe and Russian versions (except in Asia), a single producer, Petr Lagun, will now manage the game. Essentially, there will only be one team at my.com developing the game.
What impact will this have on the MMO? Operator My.com hopes that this restructuring will bring the two versions of the online game closer together. Until now, there have been many differences between the versions; even the client was not compatible. This made it difficult to develop updates. The united team is now supposed to gradually bring both versions closer together and also adjust the client. Under the title “New Sulan”, the first unified client is currently being created.
My.com only the producer: It should be noted that My.com is the publisher of “Revelation Online”. The game is developed by NetEase in China.
New updates are coming. Additionally, the team will of course continue to take care of new updates. Already, changes regarding PvE and PvP are in the works. These contents will no longer have to be developed for two different versions of Revelation Online, but only for one.
Producer Petr Lagun explains that he will soon reveal more about the future of the MMORPG Revelation Online. Fans can expect some surprises.
Bungie releases an updated roadmap and clarifies the plans for summer in Destiny 2. Here’s what comes next after the Warmind DLC.
Many players are wondering what Destiny 2 will offer them after the Warmind DLC. Bungie has now provided an answer with an updated summer roadmap. There are indeed some features that could help fans while waiting for the big fall expansion.
Here’s what summer looks like in Destiny 2
As already expected, the biggest change will take place in September. The first truly profound changes to Destiny 2 are expected then. However, players can also look forward to some interesting new features until fall.
Changes in May – Update 1.2.1
The next changes are expected by the Guardians on May 29. The following features will be integrated:
Crucible Labs: With the PvP Labs, players will gain access to experimental PvP content. This gives Bungie the opportunity to use Guardians’ feedback as a basis for future decisions in the Crucible. More information is expected before the feature launches.
Improvements to Strikes: After a longer break, Strikes will return in May. Although nothing is known about the upcoming changes yet, hints of possible exotic rewards and catalysts for exotic weapons linked to individual factions have already been discovered in Destiny 2 databases.
Sandbox changes for exotic armor: The sandbox changes to exotic weapons that arrived with DLC II were very positively received by the community. If the upcoming adjustments to armor take the same direction, players can look forward to more exciting exotics that finally live up to their name.
Changes in July
In July, the next wave of new features is expected. Here’s what players can expect in mid-summer:
Seasonal Event “Sunscreen of Heroes”: Not much is known about the event yet. Players will be able to celebrate their achievements and accomplishments while earning new rewards. It is likely that the event will be similar to the Crimson Days or the Dawning events.
Bounties: Whether the bounties will return in their form known from Destiny 1 or if Bungie has something new in mind is not yet known.
Prestige Mode for the two raid locations: Many players have been waiting for this. For some fans, this mode will certainly make the waiting time a bit more bearable.
Clan text chat on PC: This feature has been awaited by PC players for a long time.
Year 1 Triumphs: How this feature will be designed is not yet known. However, it is conceivable that Bungie will consistently continue its “Age of Triumphs” system from Destiny 1. There, players had to achieve certain milestones. These were recorded in a record book. Players were rewarded for completing various tasks.
Further sandbox changes to exotic armor: Here, the last exotic armor pieces will probably be integrated into the game in revised form.
If all of this comes to pass, it would likely be the first summer in the history of Destiny where the Guardians actually have something to do. Normally, the summer months in Destiny have been dull, and Bungie limited itself to promoting the big fall release (2015: TTK, 2016: RoI, 2017: Destiny 2).
Changes in September
In September, a significant expansion in the style of “The Taken King” is likely to be released. Significant changes to the core mechanics of Destiny 2 are also on the agenda. Among other things, the following features are expected at the beginning of fall:
Gear Collections: Bungie has already announced that the recent vault expansion is just a temporary solution. The kiosks known from Destiny 1 could find their way back into the game.
Records: Whether the record books from the predecessor will return or if it will be a completely new system is still unclear.
Changes to weapon slots: Not much is known about this exciting feature yet. However, Bungie promised more information for the summer. Will Destiny 2 return to the old weapon system?
Random rolls for weapons: This is one of the most requested features by fans. It is likely that the same random roll system used in Destiny 1 will not return completely. However, Bungie promises even something better. The overhaul of the mod system is also expected to be an integral part of the random rolls for weapons.
New gameplay modes: Recently, Activision teased a revolutionary mode. Although no details were revealed, such a mode is said to not have existed in the Destiny series or in any other shooters so far.
Finally, Bungie announced that even more things will be revealed before fall.
The comet that crashed at the end of Season 3 in Fortnite: Battle Royale left a trail of destruction. Will the massive craters in Tilted Towers, the prison, or Dusty Depot ever be repaired? Since the last update, we know: Yes! The map has changed again.
Epic seems to be planning something, as we hinted at in the third season. Throughout the last season, a sinister comet hovered in the sky, seemingly growing larger with each update. At the end of Season 3, Epic really went for it and brought the comet down after initial meteor showers.
Can we expect a similar action in Season 4? It looks like Epic is diligently repairing the map step by step. The first stop is Tilted Towers. Since update 4.2, the crater in the city has disappeared and was filled in:
What is it? The theories about it are varied. Are we observing the villain freeing themselves from the meteor, culminating in a special mode at the end of Season 4? Or is Epic just cleverly building up the hype?
How could it continue throughout the season? It is becoming clear that Epic will distribute the cleanup efforts throughout the entire season. Therefore, it can be presumed that the craters will be filled and broken houses repaired.
What will happen to the large crater at Dusty Divot? If Epic indeed plans to repair the map piece by piece, they might also fill the Dusty Divot crater – and replace it with something big, like a city. The comet would be kept sealed in an underground vault until the mystery surrounding the celestial object is solved.
You notice it: Fortnite continues where they left off in Season 3 with the comet. The small changes to the map guarantee at least two things:
The player experience remains fresh and exciting; there is something new to discover every week.
Epic ensures that the hype around Fortnite: Battle Royale remains unbroken.
What do you think? What will happen to the crater in Dusty Divot?

In WoW: Battle for Azeroth it seems that you cannot fly at the beginning. Blizzard has already announced this during the development of the new WoW addon, and they are keeping their word. However, the first part of the achievement has now emerged, allowing you to fly in BfA.
Flying through the Pathfinder of Battle for Azeroth: In the current beta build of the new WoW addon Battle for Azeroth, the first part of the meta achievement “Pathfinder of Battle for Azeroth” has appeared. This achievement grants you a faster mount speed in Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
Pathfinder achievements have been Blizzard’s way in past addons, of putting a time lock on flying abilities. The discussion about this is always controversial: Some players think it’s good, others find it annoying. There is a trade-off between extensive exploration of a new world and the conveniences of flying.
Even in WoW: Legion, flying was only allowed with achievements.
Stringent requirements for the first part: The achievement seems to be not fully developed yet. According to the status on the beta server, you would need to farm reputation for the Zandalari and Kul Tiras for the first part of Pathfinder – thus for Horde and Alliance.
This would be the first time that players would have to play both factions for the Pathfinder, and it is likely a bug, according to wowhead. Additionally, this requirement would further increase the time demands.
The achievements take a lot of time: The achievements you need for the meta achievement can take a very long time. The explorations and questlines can be completed quickly, but the reputation will likely take several weeks.
The required factions are not yet known, however, they were already the limiting factor in Legion. It is likely that you will need additional factions for later Pathfinder achievements that will then allow flying directly.
The achievements you need to fulfill for Pathfinder of Battle for Azeroth Part 1 have been listed for you. As far as possible, we have translated the achievements into German:
Both factions
Explorers of Battle for Azeroth – Explore the regions of Kul Tiras and Zandalar
Kul Tourist – Complete all the achievements listed below in Kul Tiras.
A Solid Plan – Complete the storyline of Tiragarde Sound.
Drust Do It – Complete the storyline of Drustvar.
Stormsong and Dance – Complete the storyline in Stormsong Valley.
Kul Tiras Diplomat – Achieve Respectful status with all the listed factions of Kul Tiras.
Horde
Zandalari Forever! – Complete all the achievements listed below in Zandalar
The Throne of Zuldazar – Complete the storyline of Zuldazar.
The Dark Heart of Nazmir – Complete the storyline of Nazmir.
Secrets in the Sand – Complete the storyline of Vol’dun.
A Bloody Trade – Complete the “Blood Gate” questline in Zuldazar.
The Final Seal – Complete the scenario “Zandalar Forever.”.
Zandalar Diplomat – Achieve Respectful status with all the listed factions of Zandalar.
To be able to fly, you must complete many quests.
According to the current status, the Alliance would have to complete less for their part than the Horde. Since both factions’ achievements are also listed in the meta achievement, there will likely be adjustments made here, so the list is probably not complete yet.
After Hanzo’s rework, the archer dominates ranked play in Overwatch. His overhaul seems to have made him a bit too strong. A nerf is set to fix that.
Hanzo’s Storm Arrows will be nerfed: The Storm Arrows are a new ability for Hanzo. He received the Storm Arrows as a replacement for his Scatter Arrow, which the developers considered too strong. The Storm Arrows now have the same issue: they are too powerful.
When Hanzo activates the ability, he fires the next 6 arrows in quick succession with a fully drawn bowstring. Each of them previously dealt 80 damage. This will now be reduced to 70 damage per arrow. This was announced by Overwatch developer Geoff Goodman in the US-Overwatch forum.
The Storm Arrows have become a problem for many players. Hanzo can use them and roughly aim the next 6 arrows in the direction of the enemy, as the projectiles arrive almost instantly at the target. The arrows have an almost hitscan-like quality.
The damage of the arrows is currently enough to kill heroes with 150 health points such as Tracer or D.Va without her mech immediately if Hanzo hits the head. If he also has Mercy’s boost, he can even take out targets with 200 health points immediately.
Tracer players are currently having a hard time.
With the reduction of damage to 70 per arrow, this is no longer possible. Without Mercy, he can no longer one-shot Tracer, and even with increased damage, he cannot eliminate heroes with 200 health points either. Opponents should no longer feel powerless.
Hanzo is the most played DPS hero: With his current strength, Hanzo is on all platforms (PC, PS4, Xbox One) the most played DPS hero in competitive play on average over the last week (as of May 16). In the Grandmaster tier on PC, he is played almost three times more often than the second-place hero, Widowmaker. Only Junkrat is played more frequently in the Bronze and Silver ranks.
According to overbuff, Hanzo is currently the most played DPS hero.
The patch is yet to come: Currently, the patch for the live servers is not yet in sight. Blizzard will soon roll out the nerf for Hanzo on the PTR. When it will then be released on the live servers is still unknown.
Pokémon is coming as the main installment of the RPG series to the Nintendo Switch. What is really known so far about the release date, mechanics, or the game world? Are we expecting a full-fledged Pokémon MMO?
What is it about? At E3 2017, Game Freak officially confirmed that a main installment of the popular Pokémon RPG series would be coming to the Nintendo Switch. Since this announcement, the rumor mill has beenboiling over. Below is a breakdown of the confirmed information and unconfirmed rumors that frequently arise.
This article originally appeared on May 3 and is continuously updated with the latest information.
The facts: What do we really know about Pokémon Switch?
So far, Game Freak and the Pokémon Company have mostly remained silent. Only a few facts are known:
Main installment: Pokémon Switch will be a main installment of the RPG series. This was confirmed by Game Freak at E3 2017.
No official but planned release date: The release of Pokémon Switch is planned for “2018 or later.” This was confirmed in the latest Nintendo financial report. It was also stated in Game Freak’s financial report.
That is actually all that is known for certain. Since the release date of 2018 or “later” is mentioned, it is likely that they are aiming for the end of 2018 / beginning of 2019. It should be noted that this is merely a plan and not a confirmed release date!
The leaks: Where do they come from and what’s true?
In contrast to the officially confirmed information, of which there are only a few, a lot of rumors about Pokémon Switch are circulating. Some have emerged from seemingly reliable sources, or questionable “insiders” have come forward.
Pokémon Let’s Go! – Does a logo announce the Yellow Remake?
On 4Chan, an image was released that allegedly shows a logo for “Pokémon Let’s Go!” The game is traditionally set to be released on the Switch with two versions:
Pokémon Let’s Go! Pikachu Edition
Pokémon Let’s Go! Eevee Edition
This logo allegedly shows the Pikachu version for Pokémon Let’s Go! It is striking that it looks hand-drawn.
A previous 4Chan leak from March wanted to know more about the gameplay: According to this, Pokémon Let’s Go! is a remake of Pokémon Yellow. That was the Gameboy edition in which Pikachu followed the player. The catching of Pokémon is said to work similarly to the mobile game Pokémon GO.
The Switch is perfectly suited for playing outdoors and on the go. A mix of the mobile version and the classic handheld RPG would actually make sense here.
A blog entry seems to support the rumor: Nintendo insider Emely Rogers published an article, in which she writes about Pokémon Switch. The reveal is said to take place later in May according to Rogers. She believes that the title of the games could raise skepticism among fans. Furthermore, Rogers emphasizes that Pokémon GO could play a significant role in the future of the Pokémon series.
Domains for “Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu / Eevee” have now been registered: The registration was done by the same company that also registered Pokémon Sun and Moon.
This rumor seems to become more plausible with each new piece of information. Fans even suspect an announcement in the coming days.
Pokémon Switch as a Kanto Remake: Back to Red and Blue?
An extremely blurry image of a Lapras surfaced in March in the fan magazine Pokéjungle. This image was meant to suggest that Pokémon Switch would take us back to Kanto. Kanto is the first region of the RPG series, where many trainers began their journey with Pokémon Red and Blue on the Gameboy about 20 years ago.
Fans claimed to recognize Route 21 in the lower image, leading to the Cinnabar Islands. This created the rumor that the image was a Pokémon Switch leak. However, Pokéjungle had to remove this image, and it could be any screen. Perhaps from Pokémon X/Y.
Pokémon Stars: A Spin-Off of Sun and Moon for the Switch?
Pokémon has always released a spin-off of its various RPG titles. This was the case with Pokémon Red/Blue having the Yellow version, or Pokémon Diamond/Pearl having the Platinum version.
Eurogamer believed that Pokémon Stars would be a spin-off of the titles Sun and Moon. Furthermore, it was suspected that this spin-off would be the announced RPG title for the Switch. However, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon were released as a spin-off for the Nintendo 3DS. What exactly will become of the Pokémon Stars project and what it will entail is still up in the air.
Nintendo Patent Suggests Interactive Trading Cards: Are They for Pokémon Switch?
Nintendo filed a patent that presumably relates to the Pokémon franchise. It involves trading cards that can interact with the console. The cards are said to show a character against a background, which can change its color and pattern in response to a signal.
The gameplay associated with the cards was described by Nintendo in a way that suggests a connection to Pokémon is likely:
Players catch wild monsters
They control a character
Players can train the characters and increase their level
Characters can evolve
Whether there is a connection to the announced RPG for the Nintendo Switch is, however, entirely unknown.
Spanish Magazine Predicts Gen 8: New Pokémon for the Switch?
The Spanish edition of the official Nintendo magazine had a small report about Pokémon Switch, announcing Generation 8. A new generation would mean new Pokémon and also a new area. In the article of the magazine, it stated something like…
“… Pokémon would only be associated with handheld consoles. Now, with the 8th generation, Pokémon would transition to home consoles. Game Freak and the Pokémon Company are rethinking the saga to surprise with new mechanics, either in 2018 or later.”
Even though this is an official Nintendo magazine, it has a history of false claims. This magazine is also the only one that has mentioned Generation 8 so far. Therefore, Generation 8 remains merely a rumor.
Story, Mechanics, New Formula: What Other Speculations Exist?
Some Chinese sources reportedly found out even more about Pokémon Switch. The information comes from the same sources that predicted Team Rainbow Rocket for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, a villain organization in the titles.
What the sources apparently want to reveal about Pokémon Switch:
The Chinese localization team is said to have completed the translation of the game script
No new Mega Evolutions are supposed to exist.
Z-Moves are returning and are supposed to be activated via motion control of the Joy-Cons
The main story is supposed to showcase the conflict between tradition and innovation
The region is supposed to be inspired by Spain or Italy
CEO of the Pokémon Company Talks About Multiplayer Potential: MMO Plans for the Switch?
The previous main installments of the RPG series were single-player games. An interview between the CEO of the Pokémon Company and Bloomberg however, revealed that the Nintendo Switch could change that. This is why rumors about a Pokémon MMO on the Switch arose.
Ishihara emphasized in the interview that the Switch is an opportunity to create a deep Pokémon experience with high eloquence. On the TV, completely new graphics and sounds could be possible. “So far, the [Pokémon] games were designed for people who could play 1vs1. But now it is possible to go home and play with anyone [worldwide, online]. How do we approach these topics, and how do we make it as easy as possible?” said Ishihara. This could hint at an online or at least local multiplayer.
Whether Ishihara hinted at plans for a Pokémon MMO on the Switch is purely a matter of interpretation and speculation regarding the interview. Ultimately, the development team has only previously developed for handhelds and is now venturing into new dimensions on the Switch.
What would you like to see for Pokémon on the Nintendo Switch and do you believe any of the rumors?
World of Tanks is currently offering you 2 tanks that look like the chunky tanks from the Warhammer 40,000 franchise. These are a premium KV-2 and a skin for the BDR G1 B.
What’s going on here? World of Tanks has a lot in common with the tabletop game and game franchise Warhammer 40,000: thick, chunky rumbling tanks with enormous firepower! Therefore, it makes perfect sense that the developers at Wargaming are teaming up with the Warhammer creators at Games Workshop to hold a crossover.
After the mobile game World of Tanks Blitz already featured Space Marine tanks in 2017, now the big brother World of Tanks (PC) is up next.
Premium Tank: The KV-2 Ragnarok of the Ice Warriors from Valhalla
The highlight of the Warhammer 40K event is a premium version of the KV-2. This tank is actually a heavy Russian tank at tier 6. It has a massive 152mm howitzer that destroys enemy tanks.

What is a KV-2 Ragnarok? A normal KV-2 is already impressive in World of Tanks due to its massive, chunky appearance. The Warhammer version, KV-2 Ragnarok, takes it a step further and comes in the design of the legendary Ice Warriors of Valhalla. This unit of the Imperial Army is notorious for its tanks and fierce fighting spirit.
The Ragnarok will be available until mid-June and costs 27.43 euros in its base version.

Warhammer Skin for the BDR G1 B.
The BDR G1 B is a French heavy tank of tier 5. Due to its quirky design, it is often affectionately called the “Steel Potato.” However, with the Warhammer 40,000 conversion kit, it has surely been “potato-ed” out.
No more Steel Potato! Because then the BDR G1 B comes in the look of the feared “Iron Guard of Mordia.” This unit of the Imperial Army is considered particularly humorless and disciplined. For 9.95, you get a reskin of the tank and can spread even more Warhammer flair in World of Tanks.

On May 21, it will be time for you to travel to the Summerset Isles in the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (at least in the PC version, the PS4 and Xbox One versions will follow on June 5). Many are looking forward to it, but what is so great about the isles?
According to our survey from May 15, you are particularly excited about exploring the Summerset Isles in the upcoming TESO expansion Summerset. 39% of participants said: We are looking forward to the Summerset Isles as a location. We analyze why that is.
The Summerset Isles are very popular
What fascinates players about the Summerset Isles? The isles offer a strong contrast to Vvardenfell, the area of the last expansion Morrowind. Instead of gloomy volcanic landscapes with towering mushrooms, you can expect a blooming, beautiful, and green landscape that seems to have sprung from a fairy tale. However, appearances can be deceiving, as something sinister brews beneath the beautiful facade.
The Summerset Isles already played an important role in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim: The radical faction of the Thalmor elves managed to seize control of the Summerset Isles through propaganda after the Oblivion Crisis in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. This led to the establishment of the Third Aldmeri Dominion, which even briefly succeeded in capturing the Imperial City during the Great War. A peace treaty eventually came about, yet the aftereffects of this war and the presence of the Thalmor in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim are still felt.
Players are now looking forward to visiting Summerset, even if this visit takes place several hundred years before the events in Skyrim. Because the land of the High Elves is very interesting, and you can learn more about the culture and the background that will eventually lead to the events of Skyrim.
The Altmer are a very interesting and mysterious people. Not only the landscape of the Summerset Isles but also the culture of the Altmer, also known as High Elves, fascinates players. The Altmer differ from the Dunmer of Morrowind, and fans want to learn more about the culture of these arrogant elves. As the land has been forbidden to outsiders for a long time, you can discover in the Summerset expansion who the Altmer really are, what drives them, what dark secrets they hide, and why they now need help from outsiders.
However, TESO fans should not expect any major and fundamental changes to the gameplay. In Summerset, it mainly revolves around the expansion of the story, new areas, more quests, and the culture of the Altmer.
The Summerset Isles in The Elder Scrolls Online offer interesting experiences, which is why fans are excited to explore the isles and uncover their secrets.
Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One) receives new skins, outfits and emotes with each update that gradually appear in the shop. Update 4.2 has leaked new offers from data miners.
New patch, new skins and outfits. As usual, the new Patch 4.2 already contains data for future shop items in its code. These will likely be available for purchase with V-Bucks in the coming days.
With patch 4.2, monsters, jungle fighters and protective suits are in high demand.
This time it’s about monsters and hazardous materials
What could soon come to the shop? Diligent data miners dug deep into the code shortly after the release of update 4.2. The following images have come to light.
The new skins and outfits – It’s getting darker
The last shop offers in Season 3 were quite colorful. In Season 4, Epic seems to prefer a darker look. The names and prices of the new skins are not yet known. The data miners are still digging. However, the look this time is rather dark and less funny than previously experienced. Among the outfits are:
Protective suits against hazardous materials
A type of superhero costume made of chrome and brass, reminiscent of retro science fiction.
A swamp monster costume as if from an old horror film!
A soldier in Rambo style
The new pickaxes, gliders and emotes
These are the harvesting tools: Additional gear is also plentiful. There are 4 new pickaxes, including a battery screwdriver, a film camera, and a stop sign shaped like an axe.
The new gliders: Two new gliders, one for the protective suits and one for the retro hero, are also included. There are also protective suit backpacks and a battered ventilator.
Emotes are also available: Four new emotes complete the offerings, including a pop dance and a clapperboard animation.
When and whether these shop offers will come into the game is still unknown.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical first-person shooter by Ubisoft. The game was released on December 1, 2015 for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and PC.
What is it about? The focus of the game is clearly on multiplayer. In short but intense 5vs5 matches or co-op battles against AI, players can unleash as members of the Rainbow Six special unit in a destructible environment. Tactical teamwork is essential to achieve victory.
What makes Rainbow Six Siege special? The game offers a lot of different heroes you can play. Similar to hero shooters like Overwatch, the operators have different weapons, abilities, and even an individual story. This opens up many tactical possibilities for team composition and mission completion.
It is all wrapped in a realistic military scenario, so there is also convincing gunplay on top.
Another difference from other multiplayer shooters is that killed players cannot re-enter the battle until the end of the round. Tactical and coordinated action is mandatory.
The destructible environment in Rainbow Six Siege sets the game apart significantly from the competition and, combined with the various heroes, opens up countless tactical possibilities during battles.
What does the multiplayer offer? The multiplayer features both PvP and co-op elements.
In PvP, attackers face off in 5vs5 against barricaded defenders. The game offers various scenarios ranging from bomb defusals to hostage rescues to securing biological agents.
In the co-op mode Terrorist Hunt, up to 5 operators storm a building while mastering various scenarios against AI opponents, similar to PvP.
You should check it out if you are into team-oriented, tactical gameplay and your heart beats for first-person shooters. Then you can’t go wrong with this game. If you also value hero elements in the style of Overwatch and solid gunplay, then you should be completely happy with Rainbow Six Siege.
