In Battle for Azeroth, the maximum level has been raised again. The way there leads with quests through two new continents. Many fans and players of World of Warcraft are wondering: What to do with level 120?
New maximum level: Upon reaching level 120, you can enter the “endgame content” of Battle for Azeroth. Most of the new features and content of the new World of Warcraft expansion take place here as well.

Level 120 – what now?
The leveling phases in World of Warcraft often feel like the longest part of an expansion, but the real content is always waiting at the maximum level. Battle for Azeroth offers some features with which you can still make progress after leveling up.
One of the most important aspects for most players is to become stronger – even in the endgame. To continuously improve your gear, you have several options in Battle for Azeroth.
World Quests: The first step for most players will likely be the world quests. These reward you with reputation, resources, gold, or items. Most can be completed quickly, and additional rewards come from emissary quests.
The reputation from world quests is an important point. The factions reward you with very good initial items, and world quests are currently the only way to effectively farm reputation. Through contracts from scribes, you can also gain targeted reputation with factions by completing world quests.
World quests reward you with powerful gear at times.
Dungeons: The second approach are the dungeons of Battle for Azeroth. At level 120, 8 dungeons on 3 difficulty levels will be available to you at the start. Each difficulty level offers different quality loot:
Normal: Loot with item level 310+
Heroic: Loot with item level 325+ (requires 305 to enter the random finder)
Mythic: Loot with item level 340
If you do not want to wait in the dungeon browser, you can always head out with a pre-made group. The item level restrictions do not apply here. However, keep in mind that particularly mythic dungeons can be very hard with weaker gear.
Artifact Power: You mainly collect artifact power, or Azerite power, in Battle for Azeroth “on the side.” You receive artifact power for many world quests, but also in dungeons or from chests in the world.
With artifact power, you upgrade your “Heart of Azeroth”. This increases your item level and allows you to enhance pieces of Azerite gear. A possible way to specifically gather artifact power are the island expeditions.
Catch up on missed things
On the way to level 120, you likely have not seen and completed everything there is to see and do in Battle for Azeroth. At level 120, you have enough time to make up for most of that.
Professions: Many players forego leveling professions during the leveling phase or focus only on mining and herbalism to secure additional experience. At level 120, you can start leveling all professions.
Depending on the profession, you will need approximately 2 to 6 hours if you focus or have even done some preliminary work. The professions reward you with useful items or gear – up to item level 300 and even 355 at later stages.
Tailor in Boralus
Complete all quests: You should aim to complete all quests in all areas afterwards to achieve the achievement “Kul Tourist” (Alliance)/”Zandalar Forever!” (Horde). You need these later for the Pathfinder achievement, which allows you to ride or even fly faster.
You should also push the war campaign as far as possible, as you will often encounter hurdles that take a while to overcome. Particularly, the reputation with your war faction takes a while.
Fight it out!
Finally, you have the option to simply fight it out. If you leveled up in war mode, you have likely experienced some conflicts between players.
At level 120, you can pick up PvP quests that encourage you to fight players from the other faction in certain areas. This encourages you to participate in PvP in the open world if you are not interested in battlegrounds – as they do not allow rankings yet.
If you feel like a completely different type of combat, visit the Duelist guild. Here you can queue up similarly to the fighting guilds of the past. Instead of fighting special NPCs, you will find a duel against a random player.

Over 200 players from La Liga received fresh head scans. This means they will look more like their real-life counterparts in FIFA 19.

When you play La Liga matches in FIFA 19, they will be presented in the official La Liga look, as seen on TV.
EA Sports has thus acquired the licenses for the official La Liga broadcast package. The line-up, the score, and many other graphics will look like the “real” ones.
The deeper and more immersive La Liga experience is intended to carry through multiple game modes, from career mode to the new kickoff. You can also use the new stadiums in Ultimate Team.

In the lead-up to Forsaken, Bungie has now announced how they want to further promote group dynamics within clans and matchmaking in Destiny 2.
A few weeks before the launch of the Forsaken expansion, Bungie revealed details that should make it easier to keep fireteams together. Additionally, there are updates on some changes aimed at making playing in a clan more attractive and supportive.
Fireteams will remain together
Small change with a big impact: A very simple feature is returning with Forsaken. This is likely to bring joy to many fans, as it has essentially been requested by the community since the release of Destiny 2:
Fireteams formed during an activity will stay together from September 4 – even if the activity ends. This applies to:
Strikes
Gambit
Crucible
Consequently, soon not only fixed fireteams with friends but also teams randomized through matchmaking will be able to stay together for multiple strikes or PvP matches if desired.
Exemptions: This mechanic does not apply in competitive Crucible. Furthermore, should a Crucible match end due to the mercy rule or if the scores are too far apart, Guardians will be sent back to the matchmaking to form new teams.
Clans receive an update with Forsaken
With Forsaken, the way your clan earns XP changes: Hawthorne will have three daily bounties at the launch of Forsaken. These can be completed either solo or in the fireteam and grant a small amount of clan experience points upon successful completion.
Once you reach level 50 with your character, Hawthorne will also offer three weekly bounties. These bounties grant you more clan XP, but require a fireteam made up of clan members.
The clan perks that can be unlocked by leveling up the clan level with clan XP will be redesigned to make it worthwhile to work together as a clan. Bungie mentioned the following examples:
Rank 3: Increased resilience when in a fireteam with clan members
Rank 5: Grants a chance for additional Aether and Baryon resources when collected in the Rift
Rank 6: The weekly clan milestone grants an additional masterwork core
By the way: Players who do not have a clan but do not want to play alone will receive a special opportunity with Forsaken to signal to other Guardians that they are looking for a group.

No longer necessary to change before the match starts
The problem in FIFA 18: To get their player cards to full chemistry, a large portion of the FIFA community started their matches in a formation they didn’t actually want to play.
In-game – before kickoff – they paused the match and switched to their desired formation and tactics.
This solution is what fans wanted for FIFA 19: In fact, many players demanded a revision of the chemistry system. Waiting up to a minute before every match is annoying and tiring in the long run. Instead, EA came up with something different.
This is now the solution for FIFA 19: With the new dynamic tactics, it is possible to change your formation, tactics, and player instructions while still in the Ultimate Team team management. Up to 5 different tactic settings are available. These can then be changed quickly during the game using the D-pad.
Players who previously changed their settings before each match in FIFA 18 can take advantage of this;
“Balanced” is the tactic that is set by default in FUT. Here, you choose the formation that allows all players to achieve full chemistry and start the match.
With “Defensive” and/or “Offensive” the formation and tactic can then be chosen that one really wants to play. The variant can be changed in-game using the D-pad without pausing.
With “Very Defensive” and/or “Very Offensive” there is still the possibility to adequately respond to match situations such as a narrow lead late in the game or a significant deficit.
Thanks to the new ability to save multiple tactic variants and quickly switch between them, it seems that pausing and changing at the beginning will finally be eliminated in FIFA 19. The only downside is: You have only four quick tactics to react, not five.
Why exactly did FUT players change before the match?
What lies behind the pause madness in FIFA 18: In Ultimate Team, the best players in different positions often come from different leagues.
Due to the chemistry system in FUT, it is usually not possible to start in your favorite formation without sacrificing chemistry. Even someone who prefers to play Gareth Bale as a striker instead of a right winger would have to sacrifice chemistry.
A large portion of FIFA players therefore chose a lineup that maximized their chemistry. Variants with defensive players as forwards or forwards in midfield were also commonly used.
Just before kickoff, players then went into the pause menu and switched to their favorite formation there. The chemistry doesn’t change from that point on.
Some players were really annoyed: Even though this tactic was even common among professionals, many players were still frustrated. This is because player instructions had to be set again, which often dragged out over the entire pause duration of almost a minute.
With the dynamic tactics, EA has solved this problem. At the same time, they still allow for quick changes to the beloved 4-1-2-1-2 (narrow) formation with strikers like Martial or Son.

The new plot in Season 5
Season 5 is developing terribly slow: Just like in Season 4, you can unlock a new title image every week in Season 5.
This time, the associated challenge path is called “Road Trip”, which sounds somewhat dull. This term refers to funny and chaotic party rides across the land, not epic adventures.
The story of Drift: And that’s exactly how the Road Trip is shaping up. It revolves around the character Drift, a graffiti artist whose tag, his signature, is a fox face.
He gets sucked into the Fortnite world through the dimensional rifts, and in the bonus images, you can see him meeting a group of Fortnite heroes, including the Color Bomber, the Cozy Commander, and Rex.
With them, he wanders around, goes go-karting, plays golf, goes to the pool, or watches movies at the drive-in.
What is this Road Trip about?
Why is nothing happening? The images are nice and funny, but I found myself asking more each week: “What the hell is this?”
I slowly don’t care what Drift is doing: “Oh, Drift is playing golf!”, “Wow, he is at the pool!” – So what? Why isn’t anyone shooting? What kind of Fortnite world is this, where everyone just lounges around?
And then, in week 7, suddenly the Visitor from the asteroid appeared and launched the rocket. The story was consistently exciting and led to a crazy finale at the end of the season! There’s nothing like that to be seen in Season 5 right now.
Next week, the fun ends!
Theories about the story: But Epic wouldn’t be Epic if they hadn’t hidden something exciting in Season 5. So I firmly believe that the idyllic Road Trip world will soon be thrown into chaos. Here are my theories:
Next week is week 7 in the game. Those who have completed all Road Trip challenges so far will be able to unlock the still secret bonus skin for the first time next week. In Season 4, that was the Visitor who opened the dimensional rifts at the end. It is likely that Season 5 will introduce another mysterious new character who will trigger similarly world-shattering events.
The Road Trip day ended in week 6, as Drift arrived in the Fortnite world in the morning and in the image from week 6 was watching movies at the drive-in in the evening. It would make sense that with the new day, a new theme would come into the story as well.
The mask of Drift could be the key
The fox mask glows: Throughout the Road Trip, Drift gains more outfit pieces and finally gets his fox mask. In the image from week 6, he has removed it, but the eyes glow ominously. It seems that Drift is unaware of this, as he is attentively watching the movie screen with the Color Bomber. It appears to me that the mask is about to do something unexpected.
In Season 4, all skins available in the pass were a fixed part of the story; in Season 5, we have only seen Drift and colorful skins from the shop.
Vikings will attack at the end of the season: So, I strongly expect that the secret skin will also be some sort of Viking and that the other Norse characters will play a role as well. After all, the Vikings even got a new location with a ship.
It would be quite a waste if they didn’t play any role at all.

An item from the beta of Battle for Azeroth has now appeared in the live version of World of Warcraft. The item initiates a quest and rewards you with a rare mount at the end.
Kua’fon’s Pterrordax found: According to wowhead, a player has found a Pterrordax for the first time in Battle for Azeroth by a bloodthirsty Pterrordax in Zuldazar. The item starts a week-long quest chain, at the end of which stands a rare mount.

A Month for a WoW Mount
The Pterrordax was almost guaranteed loot from Pterrordaxes during the beta of Battle for Azeroth. Towards the end, the drop rate became so low that players thought the egg was no longer available. Now it has reappeared.
A Rare Mount: If you find a Pterrordax egg, you can start a quest chain where you need to take care of the Pterrordax every day. You have to complete daily quests for your new companion.
The hatchling, Kua’fon, continues to grow as you take care of it. In the end, you will teach it to fly and be rewarded with Kua’fon’s harness.

The island expeditions from WoW are exciting. Cortyn reveals what makes the excursions so grand – but also, whom they won’t appeal to.
One of the new features of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is the island expeditions. Alliance and Horde push into unknown territories and try to secure Azerite for their faction. However, the enemies are hot on their heels – a race against time and the opposing faction takes place.
Island expeditions are designed for groups of three players. It doesn’t matter whether you go as a tank, healer, or DPS – the expeditions are suitable for everything. The goal is to collect 6,000 Azerite before the opposing faction does the same.
Azerite comes in many forms: it can be found in treasure chests, mined as ore, and even defeating enemies grants Azerite. Particularly powerful or rare opponents provide large amounts of Azerite.
Since the opposing team is trying to do the same, time is always of the essence. Those who spend too long with unnecessary mobs or wander aimlessly around the island will be caught by the enemies and lose.
Mini-Quests for Attention
However, if you think that on the island expeditions you only rush from A to B to find the red crosses for a lot of Azerite, you are mistaken. There are occasionally small “mini-quests” on the islands.
For example, a captured person wants us to find a key to free him. The key is lying somewhere nearby but is not shown on the map – so you have to keep your eyes open and look closely. If you rescue the captive, a hefty amount of Azerite awaits.
However, the funniest interactions are with the opposing NPCs, in my case, the Horde. They not only act smarter but also behave like actual players. For instance, there is a blood elf paladin who swings his glowing hammer and hops through our group – yes, he hops. Just like many players do in PvP.
Also, the rogue “Sneaky Pete,” who occasionally strikes from ambush, stuns a player and attempts to quickly kill another, is fantastic.
However, not only do the opposing NPCs set ambushes, you can also use that yourself. The NPCs are currently fighting a boss that gives a lot of Azerite? Then you just wait a moment and then kill all the opposing NPCs and afterwards the boss, who only has a few hit points left. You then scoop up the Azerite from the opposing NPCs and the boss. That is really fun and prepares you for how you will play this mode in PvP.
One small drawback, in my opinion, is that there are only three island layouts per week. These are randomly rolled every week. You always land on the same three “islands,” which are then populated with random creatures and enemies. If you already have several islands in the background, why limit the selection per week?
This is a mystery to me and a small disadvantage. Since you have to visit five different islands for the expansion of faction bonuses, it feels to me like a “time gate” to stretch the next expansion stage a bit more. What a pity!
Fun is the Biggest Reward
As rewards, depending on the difficulty level, a small amount of artifact power awaits. Since an island expedition usually ends after 10-15 minutes, it is a solid change of pace to farm some artifact power. Once a week there is also a hefty bonus of artifact power, namely a proud 2500 points – for that, you must complete between six and seven expeditions.
However, the greatest reward is the fun and the feeling of simply having a good time with friends. Because nothing is funnier than watching the mage “accidentally” pull yet another village of Hozen that then tears apart the team. Or a random ambush on the Horde team that was just about to kill a boss. Or the chaos that ensues when you accidentally click the wrong shrine…
In summary, island expeditions are short adventures with which you can kill a few minutes. Whether this content will still feel “fresh and worthwhile” in weeks and months, I cannot judge yet. However, so far it is a lot of fun.
However, all this only works if you have an important resource: friends. With “randoms,” the islands offer little enjoyment. If you are looking for material rewards like great gear, you might want to steer clear of the expeditions. Because that is secondary here.
