For Germans, Gamescom 2018 has a nice advantage. They can sell the exclusive sprays for Fortnite on eBay, but the gold rush is already over.
Some who have just come from Gamescom in Cologne seem to go to eBay first. However, the eBay zenith for the exclusive spray from Fortnite has already passed.
Battle Pass brings spray: The Fortnite developer, Epic, has come up with something special for Gamescom 2018.
Players can fill out a small analog battle pass on site. Those who complete three out of six challenges in the Epic area will receive an exclusive Fortnite spray, meaning a code that they can redeem in the game.

eBay “from Germany”: As the site dotesports reports, the first Gamescom visitors sold their sprays for outrageous sums on eBay just two days ago. At that time, Gamescom was only open to “industry visitors”.
On these days, the offers on the English-speaking eBay went up to $150. The lowest offers, the site writes, were at $80.
Many Germans seemed to be able to make a decent profit by listing their codes from Germany for high amounts. Of course, for them, the journey was not that far. Unlike players from England or even the USA, who hardly have a chance to travel to Gamescom themselves.
Offers now high, price not: However, if you look on eBay now, prices have already fallen significantly. Especially on German eBay, it seems that there is an oversupply of these sprays.
With the opening of Gamescom for everyone on Wednesday, the number of sprays has increased massively. Many sprays are now around 20€. Many sprays still have no offers at all.
We all know good old single-player games or games from our youth and childhood that we fondly remember. Today we want to know from you which old single-player game you wish to see as an MMO.
Many of us grew up with video games and have some titles we like to look back on. But would those games also work as MMOs? We want to know from you which old single-player game you can well imagine as an MMO or which you wish to see in a multiplayer version.
The editorial team has very specific ideas
Patrick is still dreaming of GTA Vice City. For him, it would be amazing if there were an online version of the game like in GTA V. A huge world, many players online, events, music from the 80s, and the feeling that Vice City brought us back on the PS2.
Schuhmann wishes for an MMO of Shining Force. Something was done with Phantasy Star, but it never made it to Europe. Schuhmann strongly associates the Shining Force and Phantasy Star RPGs from SEGA with his childhood. It would be nice for him to visit the universe once again in a modern version. However, he doesn’t have much hope.
Sven wishes for an MMO set in the Mass Effect universe. Besides Destiny, no other game world captivates him as much. He has always wished for a more lively world in Mass Effect – with other players to experience cool stories and tackle challenges together. He didn’t like the multiplayer part in ME3 and Andromeda that much, but in his opinion, an MMO would be worth it solely because of the setting and the many worlds and races.
Micha would like to see an MMO in Hyrule. Diving into the colorful world of The Legend of Zelda games with other players, solving puzzles, and defeating monsters. The dungeons and temples of the series would be perfect for raids, while you could meet and chill with players at well-known locations like Lon Lon Ranch or Kakariko.
The announcement of Bless Unleashed has caused some confusion. Players of the PC MMORPG Bless Online believe it is a port of the PC MMORPG. But that is not the case, says developer Neowiz.
Bless Unleashed looks similar to Bless Online and also uses the name. So is it just a port of the MMORPG for the Xbox One? The developers are now providing an answer.
Bless Online and Bless Unleashed are two independent MMORPGs
Bless Unleashed is a standalone game: Even though Bless Online and Bless Unleashed share the same brand name, they are two completely independent games, developed by two separate teams. Even the story is different, although both titles share the game world. Neowiz states this in a statement about Bless Unleashed:
A true console MMORPG: Neowiz further states that Bless Unleashed is being developed directly for the Xbox One from the ground up. It aims to create a player experience that feels like a console title and not like a port of a PC game.
Bless Unleashed is said to play and feel different from Bless Online. However, the team behind Bless Online will share its experiences to help the console MMO at launch.
Art assets are shared: In the first screenshots, Bless Unleashed does look similar to the PC MMORPG. This is because the games share art assets. The developers aim to create a unified look for the Bless brand.
Bless Unleashed does not affect the release of Bless Online: Bless Unleashed is set to be released at an unspecified date in the first half of 2019 for the Xbox One.
Bless Online is currently in the early access phase on Steam and is expected to be officially released in 2018. A date has yet to be announced. Since two separate teams are working on the games, the development of one game does not impact the other.

Due to confusion about the information regarding the revised mods of the Forsaken expansion for Destiny 2, Bungie has now clarified further uncertainties. The studio has particularly focused on the sources for mods.
In anticipation of Forsaken, Bungie has already revealed details about the upcoming new mods that will be introduced with the release of the autumn expansion. You can find the previous information here:
However, some questions remain unanswered. Especially regarding the sources for future mods, there were still numerous question marks. In the latest TWaB blog, the creators of Destiny 2 have clarified further doubts.
These are the sources for the new mods in Forsaken
Mods are intended to become quite rare with Forsaken. However, in return, you should be able to adapt your arsenal noticeably to your play style. This applies to both armor and weapons.
Those who already have a huge pile of previous mods or mod components can start their new mod collection in Year 2 right at the Gunsmith. Everyone else will have to grind for it – with one hard-earned drop after another.
How to get mods in Year 2:
You can acquire mods from equipment items and then use them on other gear. To do this, you need to dismantle the original item that dropped with the corresponding mod
If you like a specific combination of item (weapon or piece of armor) and mod, feel free to keep it. However, you can also dismantle the item to apply its mod to another suitable piece of equipment
If you want to keep the item, you can simply overlay a new mod onto the old one in this case
Legendary Year 2 weapons and armor that are not from the raid have a small chance of being equipped with a mod
Weapons and armor purchased from vendors come without mods
If you have enough mod components and Glimmer, you can also visit the Gunsmith Banshee-44 directly. He offers two mod packages for direct purchase: Year 2 Armor Mod and Year 2 Weapon Mod. Both are updated daily
You can obtain mod components by dismantling other loose mods
Armor:
All exotic armor drops have a chance to be equipped with a mod, regardless of their year
Armor mods from Year 2 always yield a mod component when dismantled
Legendary armor mods from Year 1 always drop a mod component when dismantled
Rare armor mods from Year 1 have a small chance of dropping a mod component when dismantled
Weapons:
Weapon mods from Year 2 always give you a mod component and legendary shards when dismantled
Legendary weapon mods from Year 1 always drop a mod component and weapon master materials when dismantled
Rare weapon mods from Year 1 have a small chance of dropping a mod component and weapon master materials when dismantled
Important:
Armor mods from Year 1 that you have in your inventory will no longer function with the Forsaken release. They can be dismantled or exchanged for materials
Armor mods from Year 1 that are embedded in your Year 1 armor will also not work anymore. However, they will remain in the slot of the respective armor
Armor mods from Year 2 can be used on both Year 1 armor pieces and Year 2 armor
In Pokémon GO it is now confirmed that Entei will be the reward for a research breakthrough in September.
The research in Pokémon GO is well received by players. It is the quest system that rewards trainers with items, XP, or Pokémon encounters for successfully completing tasks.
Collecting seven stamps from field research unlocks a research breakthrough. Players can expect a very special monster from it. In September, it will be the legendary Johto Pokémon Entei.
Field Research in September with Entei
When will Entei be available? Niantic announced on Thursday evening that Entei will be the reward from field research breakthroughs starting September 1st at 10:00 PM German time. It will replace Raikou, which was the reward in August.
More Field Research: In line with Entei, there will be additional fire-themed field research in September.
This is why players are excited: Entei is not a new guest in Pokémon GO, as it has already been a raid boss in the game. However, defeating such strong raid bosses requires a group of Pokémon trainers.
Especially in rural areas, it is hard to find a community for raids. Therefore, some players had to be satisfied with not being able to defeat and then catch Entei as a raid boss.
No group needed: Through field research, players now have a new chance to catch this legendary monster and add it to their collection. This time, it does not have to be fought as a group; instead, the reward can simply be caught during a research breakthrough.
Here’s why you should get Entei
Strong Fire Attacker: Just like Moltres, Entei is an extremely strong fire attacker. Both are well-suited for use against grass, bug, ice, and steel types. In the community, Entei is regarded as the second strongest fire attacker after Moltres.
The special thing about Entei is that it has many hit points and still deals a lot of damage.
Entei’s strongest attacks are Fire Spin as a fast move and Overheat or Flamethrower as charged moves. Are you looking forward to this reward?
The Starter Edition of Ubisoft’s battle epic For Honor can currently be played for free on Steam. This attracted a lot of players. The number of simultaneous active players surged from 5,000 to 210,000 in just one day.
If something is free, people are quick to grab it. This is also true for Ubisoft’s action game For Honor. Currently, the Starter Edition is playable for free and players definitely do not want to miss out on that.
Free For Honor is a big success
Play For Honor for free right now: Until August 27 at 7 PM, it is possible to play the Starter Edition of For Honor for free on Steam. Those who do so can keep the version and continue to play even after the promotional period ends. With this edition, the main game is playable with limitations:
You can play the story mode and the multiplayer parts
Three heroes are fully unlocked
Three additional characters are playable, but not fully unlocked yet
You can purchase more heroes and customization options with in-game currency Steel
For Honor has fallen a bit asleep: As reported by githyp, the numbers for For Honor had recently fallen a bit. The day before the free promotion, only 5,000 players were online at peak.
Rising success on Steam: The currently free edition of For Honor has led to Ubisoft’s action game skyrocketing in the Steamcharts. Nearly 217,000 players were online simultaneously. This places the title at 8th among the most played games on Steam at the moment. Whether Ubisoft can maintain this position will be seen in time.
The recently announced Arcade mode is expected to offer nearly endless gameplay and could motivate fans in the long term.

Currently, the Gamescom 2018 is taking place in Cologne. At this gaming fair, EA is presenting a demo of FIFA 19, which many fans can now test.
Ratings of the Gamescom demo are not final: Some users have discovered the player ratings of the demo teams and published them online. We are now presenting them – but keep in mind that the ratings are not final and may change marginally by the release of the main game. However, significant changes should not be expected.
Here are the ratings of some Bayern players from the Gamescom demo:
Player ratings of Bayern (the final values from FIFA 18 are in parentheses):
Lewandowski – 90 (91)
Ribery – 85 (86)
Rodriguez – 88 (86)
Goretzka – 83 (83)
Müller – 86 (86)
Martinez – 84 (86)
Alaba – 85 (86)
Hummels – 89 (89)
Boateng – 86 (88)
Kimmich – 85 (84)
Neuer – 90 (92)
Wagner – 78 (79)
Thiago – 86 (88)
Robben – 85 (88)
Gnabry – 82 (79)
Except for Rodriguez, Kimmich, and Gnabry, no Bayern player can improve in FIFA 19. On the contrary, the player ratings of many stars are significantly decreasing.
Especially hard hit are Robben, Thiago, Boateng, and Neuer, who are losing their outstanding ratings from last year.
What ratings FIFA fans would have liked for the Bayern stars in FIFA 19 can be read here:
Even if many Bayern fans are already complaining in the forums about the new ratings of their players – the BVB fans will also not be in a jubilant mood. This year, EA rates some Dortmund players significantly lower:
These are the ratings of the BVB players:
Philipp – 79 (78)
Reus – 85 (86)
Sancho – 72 (No Information)
Weigl – 80 (81)
Delaney – 79 (78)
Pulisic – 79 (78)
Schmelzer – 77 (80)
Diallo – 78 (76)
Akanji – 78 (72)
Piszczek – 81 (83)
Bürki – 81 (84)
Kagawa – 83 (83)
Dahoud – 79 (79)
Wolf – 77 (73)
Götze – 82 (81)
Piszczek, Bürki, Schmelzer, and even Reus receive a lower rating than in FIFA 18. And some players, from whom greater leaps were expected, stagnate or are only raised by a few points, like Pulisic.
Except for Reus, who now only has an 85 rating, the BVB is missing top players beyond 83 in FIFA 19. What ratings fans actually wanted can be found here:
Soon the artifact knowledge mechanic will be activated in WoW: Battle for Azeroth. We will reveal what this means for you.
Gathering artifact power is one of the most important tasks in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. Only with artifact power will the item level of the Heart of Azeroth increase, unlocking new bonuses in the Azerite armor, which includes shoulders, chest, and helm. Starting next week, artifact knowledge will take effect – less artifact power will be needed per level.
In a Developer Q&A, Game Director Ion Hazzikostas spoke about artifact knowledge. This mechanic will soon be activated and ensures that less artifact power is needed to reach the next level.
When will the first artifact knowledge be available? Next Wednesday, August 29, 2018, the artifact knowledge will be activated at level 1. The extent of the bonus and how much less artifact power will be needed per level is not yet known.
More artifact knowledge every week: Subsequently, artifact knowledge will continue to rise every week. This means that, along with the server maintenance on Wednesdays, the requirements for the next level of the Heart of Azeroth will be slightly lower each time. Therefore, if someone takes a break for several weeks, they will be able to catch up to the initial levels much faster.
What is the mechanic for? Artifact knowledge is primarily a catch-up mechanic for new players. This allows them to catch up faster and level up to higher regions, keeping pace with players who have been playing since the beginning. But veterans also benefit from the bonus, as the higher levels are proportionally easier to reach.
Since the update 5.30, lightning strikes have been hitting the map of Fortnite: Battle Royale at certain intervals. What is going on? Are they an ominous countdown that will continue the story?
The motto of Season 5 is: Worlds collide. However, apart from a few missing items and newly positioned objects on the map, not much has happened. Until now! Since yesterday evening, August 23rd, lightning has been striking near Paradise Palms. What does this mean?
The lightning strikes always hit the same spot: On a mountain in the map section H9. There are cacti and a treasure chest on the mountain. Anyone standing at this location at the moment of impact will inevitably meet their end.
Source: Redditor u/TheMrMattie
Are the lightning strikes a countdown? It is now known that the lightning strikes always hit the mountain 4 minutes after the hour. Every four hours, a cactus on the mountain is destroyed. The cactus that is destroyed in this way leaves a black spot on the ground.
Last night, the rhythm of the lightning strikes changed. We have now arrived at one lightning strike every half hour (each at 4 minutes after the hour and four minutes after the half hour).
In the following video, you can watch a lightning strike live:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZglboWuQKE
But what will happen next? This question is currently a point of contention in the community. The theories vary widely:
Some players suspect that the lightning indicates the announcement of Season 6. However, since the current season will still last for 3 weeks, this seems unlikely.
The lightning strikes at a location that was once called Moisty Mire. Since the portals at the beginning of Season 5 only swapped locations with other dimensions, Moisty Mire must still exist somewhere and could even return.
The lightning could signal the arrival of the Roadtrip skin, which can be unlocked starting this afternoon. This character will drive the story forward – no matter what.
The last theory is the most plausible. However, what exactly will happen remains to be seen.
What do you think? What will happen this afternoon when the challenges go live?
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
In today’s State of the Game for The Division, Massive announced a date for the next Global Event. The next GE will launch next week. There is also information about planned betas for The Division 2.
In the latest State of the Game from August 23, Massive announced when the next Global Event “Strike” will kick off. Due to the technical issues from last week, the free Survival Week will be extended.
Additionally, Massive reveals the difference between Private and Closed Beta and explained the pre-order bonuses for the various versions of The Division 2. We summarize the information for you.
Little reminder: The Division 2 can be tested at the current Gamescom. In Hall 6 you can take a look at the demo. I already had the opportunity to play it. Here you can read my impressions.
Global Event “Strike” starts next week
When exactly does the GE start? Strike starts on August 27 and will run for a week. During this time, you have the opportunity to purchase the special containers of the Global Event with GE credits and thus access these selected secret gear sets:
What are the modifications? In this Global Event, it will be explosive:
Global Modifier that is always active: When enemies are killed, they explode after a short delay.
Pre-emptive Strike (optional): If you deal too much damage, it triggers a small explosion on the agent.
Tactical Strike (optional): The effect of Pre-emptive Strike + Strike explosions mark nearby enemies. Kills of marked enemies deal damage to all enemies. Additionally, you receive increased damage from allied explosions.
While the Global Modifier is always active, the other two modifiers can be activated, allowing you to earn more Global Credits.
Free Week for Survival Extended
Due to the numerous technical issues with Survival, the free week for the DLC is extended.
Why is the DLC temporarily free? For the past few months, the Shields in The Division have been active. These are achievements that can unlock bonuses for The Division 1 and 2.
Since August 16, the new Shield “Phoenix” has been online, sending players into the Survival mode. However, this is a paid DLC that some players do not own.
Therefore, this action aims to give those players a chance to complete the Shield.
How long is Survival still free? Until Monday, August 27, at 8 AM, you can still play Survival for free; this action will end with the start of the Global Event.
In The Division 2 Closed Comes After the Private Beta
It was also confirmed that the Private and Closed Beta will not be identical.
According to Massive, the Private Beta will be the first to start and will only be available to pre-order customers. The Closed Beta, on the other hand, will be drawn from players who registered for this beta on the website.
Thus, there will be at least two beta phases for The Division 2. When they are supposed to start is still unknown.
This was the situation in The Division 1: There was a Closed and Open Beta. Both took place in the spring, with the Closed Beta starting at the end of January 2016, followed shortly by the Open Beta in February.
Open Beta for The Division 2? It is conceivable that it will be similar this time and that the Private Beta starts in early January or even during the Christmas season. The Closed Beta would then take place at the end of January.
It is possible that this could be followed by an Open Beta, which would appear in mid-February as in the predecessor.
Massive Comments on Pre-order Bonuses and Editions
the additional storage space, part of the Elite Agent Pack
the “Skill Effect,” also part of the Elite Pack
the exotic weapons, which are included in some packs
the early access to the game (3 days: Pre-order of Gold, Ultimate, DZ and Phoenix Edition) and DLCs (7 days: part of the Season Pass)
caused some discomfort.
This is what Massive says about storage space: They understand how important space in the storage is and want to ensure that there is enough in the base game. This bonus is only for people who really want to hoard everything.
Regarding the Skill Effect: This is not a skill mod. It is more of a kind of skin that has no impact otherwise. The term will be changed to “Skill Visual” to avoid misunderstandings.
About the exotic weapons: They will not level with you, but you can craft them later. They are intended to give players a feel for exotic weapons. Each will have a normally obtainable version, which simply looks different. You will also need these for crafting the Level 30 version.
About Early Access: The focus will be on the story. They are considering exactly which content to make accessible, as The Division 2 is a competitive game. Raids will also not be accessible earlier.
Further brief information from the State of the Game:
Bungie has revealed the start time for the new raid “Last Wish.” After the launch of Forsaken, you have ten days to prepare for the new challenge in Destiny 2.
Raids have always been one of the biggest challenges of the Destiny series and are among the most demanding group activities in Destiny 2. With the launch of the Forsaken expansion, the next raid will soon be introduced into the game.
In the current “This Week at Bungie” blog, Bungie has revealed when the new raid “Last Wish” will begin.
Forsaken Raid “Last Wish” – Start Time and More Information
When does it start? The launch of Last Wish and the World First race will begin on September 14, 2018. Guardians will have effectively ten days after the release of the autumn expansion to progress in Power and Character Level and prepare for the Forsaken raid.
Raid Start “Last Wish”: September 14, 2018, at 7:00 PM
Bungie gives Guardians time: With Forsaken, the complete Destiny experience only begins once the campaign is completed.
Players are expected to have plenty to do and climb many power levels, leading Bungie to decide to give Guardians more than just three days to prepare for the upcoming challenges of the new endgame activity.
The specific level requirements for the raid have not yet been revealed by the studio.
Furthermore, the leak suggests that there will be a special and unique raid challenge that requires players to complete the raid within 24 hours of its release.
As these are unconfirmed details, you should take them with the appropriate caution. However, the leak has been correct with almost all details so far – including the name of the Forsaken raid.
Who are we up against? This information has not been officially disclosed yet. However, fans have formulated some theories based on already available details and hints.
Some believe it is possible that you will encounter the Awoken Queen Mara Sov or Oryx’s sister Savathûn. Other fans speculate that it could also be a female Ahamkara. Since the raid itself will likely feature the Taken, a Taken boss is also conceivable for many.
According to the massive Forsaken leak, the raid boss is said to be “Dul Incaru, the Eternal Return.” Whether the leak will be proven right here remains to be seen.
Will there be raid wings? On September 14, only the main raid will go live initially. However, Bungie has already confirmed that they will stick to the raid wing model with Forsaken in the second year.
So far, two new raid wings are known, which will be introduced with the premium content “Black Armory” and “Penumbra” in December 2018 and summer 2019, respectively. They will only be available for owners of the Annual Pass.
What else is known?
The new raid is said to fit thematically into the story of Forsaken. It is not a completely detached area.
The raid is expected to offer more boss fights than all previous Destiny experiences. Thus, there should be at least five bosses.
The raid is set deep in the heart of the Dreaming City, the new endgame hub of Forsaken.
Bungie describes the raid as a mix of “Vault of Glass” and “Crota’s End” from Destiny 1.
There are expected to be numerous puzzles, riddles, and secrets.
The raid is said to be massive.
At the heart of the Dreaming City (likely some kind of energy sphere), a “huge creature” awaits you.
Surprisingly, on the evening of August 23rd, the servers for Destiny 2 went offline on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. An emergency server maintenance was deemed necessary after the error code WEASEL occurred frequently. It is still unknown when the maintenance will be finished and Destiny 2 will be back online.
A longstanding problem interrupts the beautiful PR campaign of Destiny 2 for “Forsaken”: The servers are suddenly offline. Guardians cannot fulfill their duties on Thursday evening.
UPDATE August 23rd, 21:09: The servers are back online.
This was not planned: As Bungie announced on Twitter, the servers were taken down for emergency maintenance. Players who are logged in will be returned to the title screen.

The timeline: The exact reasons for the emergency maintenance are not known. A normal server maintenance was actually planned for this evening by Bungie:
This maintenance started at 7:00 PM. It was supposed to proceed without a server downtime.
However, it seems that “WEASEL” errors multiplied around 7:23 PM.
Shortly after, Bungie took the servers offline. This happened around 7:36 PM our time.
Always suspicious – but in this case probably innocent: Luke Smith
What is the WEASEL error? The error code “Weasel” refers to an error that was previously labeled “Centipede”. These are errors related to players not being able to connect to the servers.
When will Destiny 2 work again? This is currently still unknown. We will keep you updated on everything important here at Mein MMO.
World of Warships: Legends will be the console version of Wargaming’s naval warfare MMO. However, there will be some significant changes compared to the PC version. This includes famous heroes and more focus on action. Our author Jürgen took a closer look at the game at Gamescom.
What is World of Warships: Legends? When I first heard about World of Warships: Legends, I thought, “Hmm, is there going to be a Warships online card game? Like Elder Scrolls Legends?” Anyway, the console version of Wargaming’s naval warfare was not the first idea I had about the title.
Why Legends? So at the Wargaming presentation at Gamescom 2018, I also asked the question about the title. The answer was: We want to cover primarily two things on the console:
More action
Legendary ships and commanders
Legendary ships and captains on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
What are legendary ships? On PC, Wargaming follows the usual course and brings not only truly existing ships but also curious “paper ships.” These are concepts that only existed on paper and were never built.
That is why there are also strange objects like the giant battleship “Großer Kurfürst” or the never-built German aircraft carrier “Graf Zeppelin” on PC.
No paper ships on the consoles: Such engineering fantasies will not be in Legends. Rather, they want to focus on as detailed models of ships that actually fought in the naval battles of past wars. Therefore, you will find ships like:
The imperial flagship Yamato
The powerful USS Iowa
The notorious Bismarck
No Germans at launch: However, you will only get the German battleship and the rest of the navy after the release of Legends. Initially, only Japan and the USA will be available at launch.
What types of ships will be available? Wargaming plans to bring all 4 ship classes (cruisers, destroyers, battleships, and aircraft carriers) to the consoles. With the carriers, you should have a rough control over the planes. On PC, carriers behave more like in a real-time strategy game, where you move the squadrons around on the map.
When will Legends be released? Currently, the game is in closed alpha. The release is expected to occur in 2019.
Legendary captains, but no historical figures
In addition to the famous ships, special commanders will be on the bridge. You will be able to recruit special naval warfare heroes who not only boost the stats of the ship but also have unique skills.
No real persons: However, Wargaming is expected to refrain from bringing historical figures such as US Admiral Chester Nimitz, Japanese fleet commander Isoroku Yamamoto, or German commander Karl Dönitz into the game.
The reason for this is likely political. Some commanders from World War II were war criminals or otherwise problematic. It is likely that the playable commanders will be based on existing captains.
Faster battles for more action
To optimize the gameplay of World of Warships for consoles, Wargaming has made some changes to features. The strategic element of the game will remain, but overall more action is expected.
Smaller teams on the consoles: On PC, 12 ships per team fight for victory. On PS4 and Xbox One, the teams consist of only 9 ships each. This makes battles conclude much faster.
Smaller battlefields: The same applies to the maps. They are also smaller. This leads to quicker battles and avoids the typical long setup phases of the PC version. There, it can happen that you sail around for a long time without encountering enemies.
Target assist instead of auto-aim: The battles have also been optimized for console controls. You therefore have a target assist that makes hitting enemies easier. However, you still have to aim. It is not auto-aim.
Crossover and progression?
Are the PC and console versions compatible? Legends and the regular World of Warships are different games from different development teams. Therefore, there is no crossplay or shared progression.
You will therefore start completely anew on the console. Even premium accounts and gold are not transferable.
What are the prospects for success of Legends?
World of Warships is a successful title on PC. Therefore, it is only understandable that Wargaming wants to bring the game to PS4 and Xbox One after the successful World of Tanks console version.
I couldn’t play at Gamescom 2018 myself. But a developer showed us live how the game feels, and what I saw convinced me. The controls seemed to work well, the interface was intuitive, and the graphics were stunning.

A new teaser for Dead by Daylight is causing a stir. Is a cruel Samurai killer coming? Or is it the eerie “Slit Faced Woman”?
Just in time for Gamescom, Dead by Daylight has revealed a new teaser that introduces the next chapter of the 4vs1 horror game. It will be named “First Cut” and will feature a Samurai – at least that’s the impression it gives. However, the community is expecting a very different killer: the eerie “Slit Mouth Woman”.
Killers usually don’t speak. The community is skeptical about the Samurai, as it would not fit with the style of Dead by Daylight. Especially since killers haven’t spoken before. Fans assume that the trailer only shows how the killer was “created”. By the way, for those interested in the Samurai’s words, a few fans have roughly translated his phrases:
“It is futile, my dear daughter. We are born to die. The longer we wait, the more pain we bear.”
Who is the “Slit Mouth Woman”? The “woman with the slit mouth” is a figure from numerous Japanese ghost stories. According to legend, she was a beautiful woman who was admired by all. However, she cheated on her husband, a Samurai, who then disfigured her with a sword and cut her mouth wide open.
Since then, the woman wanders the world as a serial killer, asking people, “Am I pretty?” If the answer is “No,” she kills them with scissors. If the answer is “Yes,” she takes off her mask and repeats the question. If the answer is again “Yes,” she also cuts the victim’s mouth open. If the answer is “No,” she splits them in two. A rather gruesome ghost story – typically Japanese.
Which killer it ultimately will be, we will probably see in a few hours, as the test server for the new killer is expected to go online and reveal more to us.

After the update to version 5.30, the upcoming skins, emotes, and gliders are in Fortnite: Battle Royale and can be extracted by data miners. This includes the reward for the Road Trip loading screens. Some have been waiting for this Road Trip skin for weeks.
After weeks of waiting, players can now see what the previously secret reward will be that they will receive for successfully completing the challenges each week.
Leak is no surprise: Epic probably anticipated that players would quickly investigate the game files for new content after the update. That is why the patch was postponed.
In Season 4, the reward for the blockbuster loading screens was already known two days before the final challenges. Due to the patch delay, the skin is now only revealed one day in advance.
Mandatory spoiler warning: Anyone who wants to be surprised should not read any further.
Datamining reveals the Road Trip skin – and other surprises
In Season 4, players could unlock the blockbuster skin named “the Visitor” after seven weeks. In the story of Fortnite: Battle Royale, this visitor played a significant role.
It is therefore presumed that the new skin will also further advance the storyline.
This is what the reward for the Road Trip loading screens looks like: Those who successfully completed the first seven weeks will unlock the “Enforcer” skin:
Trained eyes will not miss the similarities to the “Omen” skin. In fact, the Enforcer looks like an upgrade of the Omen skin. What is also noticeable: The skin is quite “naked.”

Anyone who has taken a look at the Road Trip challenges will have noticed that these now show not only 7 weeks, but 9:
So it is necessary to complete all challenges in two more weeks. A clear indication of this is also provided by a leaked loading screen from week 8:
Rewards for the two bonus weeks still unclear: Since the skin in its current form is unlikely to impress anyone, the two additional weeks will presumably bring further customization options.
What the skin will look like in its final form is unknown. This is a clever move by Epic. While the skin is now known, its final form is not.
How do you like the skin so far? What do you think it will look like in its final form?

World of Warcraft does not have its own panel from Blizzard at Gamescom. However, players still hope for information. An alleged insider, however, provides fans with more details about the upcoming Patch 8.1, which Blizzard has not yet announced.
Blizzard is tight-lipped about information regarding World of Warcraft at Gamescom 2018. The presentations on stage primarily showcase the gameplay of the new Island Expeditions along with a show featuring cosplay and a new Warbringer video about Azshara. Still, fans hope for more.
An earlier loading screen of Azshara from WoW: Cataclysm.
What are fans hoping for from WoW?
Although Blizzard has officially announced that World of Warcraft will not have a fully dedicated appearance at Gamescom 2018, many fans are thirsty for information in the forums and on Reddit.
Especially the upcoming Warbringer video about Azshara is fueling hopes for announcements. Many players are hoping for more information about the Naga, who apparently will soon join Battle for Azeroth, and how they will be integrated into the game.
Other players are hoping for more content regarding the war between Horde and Alliance, and about the conflict within the Horde. The cinematic “Old Warrior”, featuring Saurfang in the lead role, has only further fueled the discussion about the morality of Sylvanas’ actions.
Some fans have already speculated about a sequel to the release of “Old Warrior”, portraying Genn Greymane as Saurfang’s counterpart in the Alliance.
Information about the upcoming allied races is also in demand (via WoW forums). Players are hoping for more details in the announcement for Patch 8.1. Some even consider this announcement likely to occur at Gamescom 2018, allowing 8.2 to be presented at Blizzcon.
Patch 8.1 with Naga content is allegedly set to be announced
In a now-deleted Reddit post, further information surfaced, allegedly to be presented at Gamescom. The “leak” fuels many hopes. It concerns the upcoming Patch 8.1 for Battle for Azeroth, which, according to the leak, should be titled “The Tide Whispers” and will focus on the Naga.
An “insider” reveals more information: In response to the post by the user (via Reddit), which has since been deleted, the Redditor “leakysneaky” provided a response. He claims to have “a little insider info”. We have summarized all the leaks for you:
Blizzard plans to announce Patch 8.1 titled “The Tide Whispers”, which will see a new Azshara raid “Nazjatar” with 9 bosses, including Queen Azshara herself.
Along with the raid, two new dungeons are set to appear:
The Shadowlands, featuring a story about the Loa of Death Bwonsamdi and Vol’jin
Nazjatar: Sea of Stars
Two new zones are allegedly coming, Crestfall and Zul’Dare for the stories of their respective factions:
Crestfall is an Alliance zone populated by secluded Kul Tirans.
Zul’Dare is a Horde zone featuring a sacred site of the Zandalari, the Hall of Loa, which has been taken over by Kul Tirans. The Horde must reclaim the site.
A new faction, the “Nazjatar Resistance” is set to appear, requiring a revered reputation for the allied races of the Kul Tirans and Zandalari trolls, along with completing the quest lines in Crestfall and Zul’dare.
The patch trailer is said to feature the Old God N’zoth.
There is to be a video in the style of “Old Warrior”, in which Genn Greymane plays the lead role. The video is said to highlight Greymane’s past with his son, as well as Jaina Proudmoore as a baby with her mother Katherine, and some scenes featuring Taelia Fordragon. It is said to end with a scene in which Genn Greymane pulls a chair in front of Saurfang’s cell in the Stormwind dungeon.
The end of the presentation is supposed to show Anduin and Sylvanas in a fight; more information is set to be revealed at Blizzcon.
Is this information reliable? It’s hard to say. The main post with over 400 upvotes has already been deleted. The additional info from “leakysneaky” has only 3 positive votes (as of 15:05 on August 23).
The leaks primarily feed already expressed hopes, and Blizzard has already covered everything that is supposed to be presented in a blog post. It is possible that Patch 8.1 will only be announced at Blizzcon.
However, according to data miners, a map named “Nazjatar” has already surfaced in the WoW data (via Icy Veins). We will find out what turns out to be true this Friday at 18:15.
This will definitely be shown: In the official blog post, Blizzard confirmed that the new Warbringer video about Azshara will be presented. This is set to be the highlight of the presentation at Gamescom for WoW, along with the cosplay show.
Until then, every day at the WoW panel at Gamescom 2018, Island Expeditions will be showcased, featuring two of the top German guilds competing against each other.
A new bug in Pokémon GO transforms Pokémon like Sunkern into Poké Balls that you can still throw.
Trainers notice that they suddenly throw Pokémon at the wild monsters in the game instead of Poké Balls. This new glitch is only a few days old. The balls take on the appearance of the monsters, but the functionality remains unchanged. You can still catch with them.
Funny Bugs and Glitches – Pokémon Become Balls
Bugs have occurred since the event: Since the start of the Johto event, trainers have been encountering these funny errors in the game. In the following video, you can see how the trainer spots a Natu in the wild, but there are already visual issues. The monster is hardly visible, often even invisible.
When the trainer finally tries to catch it, the Poké Ball glitch occurs. And suddenly, his ball transforms into a Natu, bearing the colors and patterns of a Hyper Ball. See the curious encounter for yourself:

Bug occurs frequently: Many users report new glitches on Reddit.
User Hawke-W-52 observed a similar ball problem as shown in the YouTube video. For him, a Pineco transformed into a Great Ball. You can find the Reddit video here.
Player smecky caught an invisible Natu, which then had a dark model after being caught.
Trainer IAmButtAMan had a problem with his Sunkern, which lay on its side after being caught.
No danger: So far, it seems that the bugs and glitches are completely harmless. You can continue to catch Pokémon; it just looks very strange.
Pokémon with glitch: The reports have indicated so far that Natu, Xatu, Sunkern, and Pineco are affected by these errors. Whether the glitches occur with other monsters is unclear.
As part of the ongoing Gamescom, Bungie has released a new cinematic for Destiny 2 Forsaken. “Gunslinger’s Last Stand” is meant to be a final tribute to the soon-to-be-gone Cayde-6.
Guardians can look forward to another cinematic for Destiny 2 Forsaken. The main role in “The Last Stand of the Gunslinger” will be played by the Hunter Cayde-6, from whom players must say goodbye in the upcoming expansion. The new video revolves around Cayde’s fight in the Prison of Elders, where the bad guys are breaking out of their cells.
Bungie says goodbye to Cayde
Cinematic shown at Gamescom: The new Forsaken cinematic featuring the charismatic Exo-Hunter premiered at Gamescom. Attendees were able to watch the video on the Blizzard main stage, while those at home were provided with a livestream.

Cinematic different from E3 trailer: The new trailer showcased a different ending for Cayde-6 than what was shown in the story trailer for E3. It’s possible that the shown images are part of Forsaken’s first mission.
Press representatives who have already played the first mission of the expansion have revealed that the developers spare no effort to troll players with the approaching death of the beloved character.
Teaser reveals new voice: Bungie previously released a small teaser for the upcoming trailer. In the short scene, Cayde urges the inmates of the prison to return to their cells.
What players who play Destiny 2 in the original English version will immediately notice is the slightly altered voice of the Vanguard Hunter. Nathan Fillion will no longer voice Cayde in Forsaken. Instead, the character will be voiced by Nolan North, whom players already know as their Ghost.
Interestingly, Nathan Fillion just finished filming a short film where he took on the role of the Uncharted protagonist Nathan Drake. In the games, Nolan North lends his voice to Drake.
