Treyarch has released two short teasers on Twitter showcasing two more new maps for the traditional multiplayer part of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Shortly before the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the developers introduced the new maps Summit and Morocco in short clips. These two new maps will already be included in the multiplayer map lineup at the launch of Black Ops 4 on October 12, 2018, bringing the total number of known multiplayer maps to 13.
The Morocco map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
Morocco takes place in a small Moroccan village in the middle of the desert. The map consists of numerous buildings and many winding corridors in the center of the site, as well as some more spacious areas at the edges of the map. Morocco resembles the Yemen map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in some aspects.

Fans are pleased about an original: In the shown scenes, Summit apparently does not differ in its layout from the original in the first Black Ops installment, which seems to please many fans of the original map. The initial fan reactions are almost universally positive. Fans can hardly wait to have fun on the familiar peak.
More community favorites are making a return: Summit is not the only popular map that will return in Black Ops 4. The maps Jungle (Black Ops 1), Slums (Black Ops 2), Firing Range (Black Ops 1/2), and Nuketown are also confirmed and will be playable in the latest Black Ops installment. Each edition of the game will include these maps.
Azeroth is not a loving mother, but a fanatical goddess of war. At least that is the theory of a player of World of Warcraft.
Many puzzles in World of Warcraft remain unsolved and so there are always players who come up with their own theories about various aspects of the lore. One of them we want to talk about today, namely the theory of Reddit user Tharas_Tirios. He sees Azeroth not as a needy, loving mother, but as a warmonger who simply uses us all.
The Pantheon of Titans is quite versatile. There is Eonar, the Titaness of Life, or Sargeras the Protector. Many different typical roles from myths and legends are represented. But one aspect is missing: war.
In Tharas_Tirios’ theory, Azeroth, the missing Titaness, is a goddess of war. In his opinion, the title of the expansion should be taken literally. In the “Battle for Azeroth,” we are not fighting “for” Azeroth, but rather literally “for” her – because she wants it and thereby gains strength.
Azeroth is a Titaness of war. Just as Eonar thrives on life and joy, Azeroth craves war, which drives her and gives her strength.
Sylvanas – from one slavery to another
The theory also explains Sylvanas’s actions a bit more sensibly. For after Sylvanas freed her will from the Lich King, she then fell under the voice of Azeroth, which can essentially reach all beings of the planet. It was Azeroth who whispered to Vol’jin to choose Sylvanas as the war chief. It was also Azeroth who prompted Sylvanas to ignite the World Tree.
The World Tree is a connection to the Emerald Dream and ensures that Azeroth remains in a sleeping state. However, due to Sargeras’s attack, she has “awakened” and is now trying to accelerate this process. A necessary piece of this puzzle was Teldrassil, a blessed World Tree. That’s why Sylvanas had to ignite Teldrassil.
Players are like demons – they return endlessly
There is another parallel between demons and players. When players die, they land with spirit healers (who are part of the existing lore), who bring them back from the dead time and again. It was similar with Argus and the demons, who were recreated in the Nether over and over. There was also a Titan involved there, accelerating the endless regeneration process.
The Azerite is not really the lifeblood of the planet, but the conflicts that develop around it. Azeroth wants the Horde and the Alliance to fight endlessly and create ever-stronger heroes who ultimately serve her own war, which she will one day wage against the Void.
Azerite is already regarded in the community as very controversial. Many players doubt that it is really the “lifeblood” of the planet. Because if Azeroth is an organism, then there is little reason why it should appear everywhere in the world.
After all, the wound of the world is in Silithus and not on Kul Tiras and Zandalar. If you stab someone in the arm, they don’t start bleeding from their foot.
What is Azeroth planning?
According to the theory, Azeroth is preparing for the final war against the Void. This war will begin with her fighting against the corruption of the Old Gods – for this she uses the champions (the players and story characters) to eradicate the remnants of the Old Gods.
After that, she awakens and will then join the great war against the Void, with the endlessly revived champions of the Horde and Alliance.
Sylvanas will realize that she has been manipulated and try to find a way out of this eternal cycle of control.
Anduin will be a tragic character – a king who wants peace but lives in a world that drives war itself.
The last sentence of his theory reads more like a statement from a Warhammer book:
“There will be no peace in the great dark, only an eternal bloodbath and slaughter – and the laughter of a thirsty goddess.”
But so far, this is all just a theory – and one of many. How it ultimately turns out and whether Azeroth is really a “loving mother” or indeed a “mad warmonger, ” we will surely find out over the next few years.

Why does it look so easy? A significant factor affecting damage is the strong friendship between the challengers, as strong friendship provides a damage bonus. As PokémonGOHub reports, the two trainers in the displayed video are Hyper Friends in Pokémon GO, which corresponds to a 7% damage bonus for the attackers.

In Fortnite Battle Royale, a story has been unfolding since March 2018. Our author Schuhmann says: It all means that zombies are coming for Christmas. Because then the other mode of Fortnite, “Save the World,” will be free.
At first, it was thought to be an event: I still remember how excited everyone was back then. In March 2018, a comet approached the world of Fortnite. That was something extraordinary because, in Fortnite: Battle Royale, it was really all about the game itself, about the matches.
There was no story embedded in it at all.
Before the comet, there was no world around Fortnite: Battle Royale
This is how it was before the comet: The world of Fortnite: Battle Royale was just there. It didn’t need an explanation, no context. The world was a self-contained habitat – without anything around it.
Like a snow globe that you shake, and then it snows.
Suddenly, there was a story element from outside: the comet. Somehow, it put the world of Fortnite into context. There was a “surrounding.”
This is what the players thought: Players at the time saw this story only as “an announcement of a gameplay event.” They believed the comet was a one-time experience. It would come down and destroy Tilted Towers or bring a new map altogether.
This expected change in Fortnite was so significant that Epic built its own event for it. Or so it was thought.
But it was a story: But it happened differently. The comet was just the first part of a larger narrative arc that continues to this day.
After the comet, it simply continued. In Season 4, a story about superheroes and supervillains was told through loading screens. However, this was just a ruse and led nowhere. The superheroes were just actors filming a movie.
From Season 4, there were heroes and villains of the story in skins
Skins suddenly harmonized with the story: At that time, the skins seemed to suddenly give hints about the world and how it would change. Instead of motifs from outside, like John Wick, you could now play as the superhero Carbide, who was also present in the loading screens. He also had a villain, Omega, whom he hunted.
In Season 6, it is the heroine Calamity and the werewolf she hunts.
The skins then became upgradable, providing additional motivation for the game. With the progression of the story, the heroes and their skins also evolved in the loading screens.
Meanwhile, strange things were happening in the world of Fortnite that ran parallel to the “skin story” in the loading screens.
Rockets, comets, and flying island – the story so far
In the last five months, this has happened in Fortnite:
an alien emerged from the comet and launched a rocket (Season 4)
cracks appeared in the sky, forming a space cube that then fell into Loot Lake (Season 5)
Players are now wondering: What is it all leading to?
Why is Fortnite doing all this?
This could be how it was: Fortnite Battle Royale was born out of necessity in 2017. Epic had the game built within two months by the Unreal Tournament team after it became clear that Fortnite: Save the World would not be a hit.
It was obvious that Epic was orienting itself towards the gameplay of the then-current hit PUBG to appear on all consoles and platforms as quickly as possible.
Epic was in a hurry: Originally, Epic had simply not invented a context for the world of Fortnite Battle Royale. There was no room for that – 2017, Epic had other concerns. It was important to find a functioning game principle.
In the summer back then, Epic apparently didn’t think about the setting: They brought in “generic” skins, fantasy figures like the Black Knight, or pop culture references like John Wick.
Fortnite needed more starting in March 2018: When the comet arrived, in March 2018, Epic already knew that Battle Royale was a hit. And a mode that needed a “context” related to the rest of the game: a surrounding.
What were all the writers and story creators supposed to do, that they were being paid for, if the biggest game in the world had no story and no background?
Fortnite Battle Royale is the prequel to Save the World
This is what the story revolves around: I think the whole story of Battle Royale is about integrating the new mode into the world of the “old” mode. Merging the two worlds.
In Fortnite Battle Royale, players experience what the world was like before the zombie apocalypse that players fight against in Save the World.
Therefore, everything that has happened in Battle Royale in recent months is marked with the color purple.
This is what is currently happening: Right now, the flying island is creating “crater landscapes” in which volcanoes send a purple corruption into the world.
In Save the World, the husks are former humans who are possessed by a “corruption” – they are also purple.
Save the World with Season 7 then free just before Christmas
Currently, there is a concluding event in Save the World called “Under Pressure.” This event is supposed to prepare players for the “exciting things that will happen soon.”
It looks like Fortnite Save the World will become free with the start of Season 7 – just before Christmas. Epic will thus keep its promise to release the currently paid mode as a free-to-play title in 2018.
Is Epic already transitioning Save the World to free-to-play in the background?
This is what we can expect now: In Battle Royale, the world could change further in such a way that the “corruption” spreads in the coming weeks – this would also fit with the Halloween event.
Then in Fortnite, Halloween will be even crazier and more mysterious than usual – no problem.
The question remains of what else will happen in Save the World. There has been relatively little going on in recent months. Hopefully, Epic will take the time for a final push and bring new content or solve current problems.
However, it might be that relatively little has happened in Save the World in recent months because Epic has been using resources to create a new free-to-play model.
This is why it’s clever: If they simply made Save the World free, hardly anyone would notice. However, if Epic does it in such a way that every Battle Royale player is directly confronted with the zombies in the game, then the curiosity to try out the new, soon-to-be-free mode will increase.
We can be curious about how exactly Epic will shape the transition in the coming months and what else the “Flying Island” has planned.
Is all of this confirmed? No, it is not. These are speculations and conclusions. Epic has never explained what the story is about. However, it still states in the FAQ that Save the World should become free by 2018.
The publisher of TERA in the USA, En Masse, is taking action against the creators of mods. They want to incorporate their advantages for themselves.
Mods and interface changes are part of everyday life in many MMORPGs. In games like World of Warcraft, add-ons are so popular that millions of players use them daily. There are also some highly regarded mods in TERA – but action is now being taken against them.
En Masse is taking an aggressive stance: Several authors of various TERA mods have now received warnings to cease work on their modifications and their distribution. They constitute a copyright infringement and a violation of the terms of use.
Which mods are affected? Almost all common mods for TERA that are used in the community are affected by this regulation. This includes add-ons that analyze combat logs or allow enchantments with one click.
The community is angry: Many players of TERA are dissatisfied with this decision. Many mods are used by players, even if they represent violations of the terms of use. Features that the game itself does not provide, such as analyzable combat logs or minor interface adjustments, are particularly popular.
En Masse wants to incorporate mods: In the official forum, the developers stated that they understand the community’s displeasure, which has come to appreciate many mods. In the future, they want to “analyze the situation closely to allow some of the advantages of these modifications without violating the terms of use.”
Whether this means there will be “official” mods in the future or TERA will simply introduce new features remains to be seen.

The story of Forsaken, the first major expansion for Destiny 2, begins with a breakout from the Prison of Elders. The culprit behind the villains’ escape has now been clarified in the lore book “The Most Loyal”.
The Destiny 2 expansion Forsaken starts with us helping Cayde-6 to subdue a riot of the inmates in the Prison of Elders. The identity of the escapee is not revealed during the story.
However, the question is explained in detail in the lore. If you prefer to discover this yourself, you should not read on!
What happened in the Prison of Elders?
Where can you find the lore entries for “The Most Loyal”? It seems that the lore entries are randomly available from public events in the Tanglevine . However, some players also report that they were included in the chests of the Lost Sectors in the Tanglevine.
What is the lore about? The first entry tells of how Variks, who is now the Warden in the Prison of Elders, must watch as the Cabal Legion attacks our solar system. While large parts of the Awoken fleet were able to flee, his warnings come too late for humanity’s Last City.
He observes as the Traveler is imprisoned by Ghaul and the Guardians fall. At the same time, Variks is unable to contact the crows, the spy network of the Awoken of the Reef.
Variks feels his adoptive family slipping away from him and begins to doubt his Kell, Mara Sov, and her plans.
What happens to the Barons? In addition to other scum of the galaxy, Variks also supervises seven of the eight Barons of Scorn. Fikrul, the fanatic, who Variks was close friends with years ago, has been declared dead by Cayde-6.
During his rounds through the prison, Variks contemplates what has driven him all these years: He desires to unite his people, the Eliksni, under one banner. But the Guardians have nearly wiped out all Fallen leaders.
Variks hires a bounty hunter to find Craask, Kell and leader of the House of Kings. In him, Variks sees a chance to restore the Fallen to their former power. The bounty hunter informs Variks that Craask was wiped out by the eighth Baron Fikrul and an Awoken vagabond. Variks contacts Cayde.
Who speaks to Variks? In Variks’ dream, a voice speaks to him about his failures. As Variks tries to remember who he is and that he might be the last hope for the Eliksni people, the unwelcome voice sends him images from his past.
When he awakens, Cayde has returned to the Prison of Elders with two prisoners: Fikrul, the fanatic, and to Variks’ dismay, Uldren Sov, Prince of the Awoken. Variks cannot help but address Uldren as “Your Grace”.
Petra Venj has the plan to imprison Uldren in the prison, as he seems to be losing his mind. No one but Petra, Variks, and Cayde are to know that the Prince is still alive and imprisoned in the deepest, darkest maximum-security area of the prison.
This is the beginning of the end: While Variks illegally attempts to speak to Uldren, a Servitor explodes, which was supposed to siphon Ether from Baron Fikrul. A precautionary measure for Fallen inmates to replenish the Ether supplies, which have been low since the attack of the Cabal Legion and weaken the prisoners.
While Variks is still pondering the dark, swirling, and corrupted Ether, Fikrul mocks him. Variks would still cling to his former House of Judgment, just as House Rain does to its predictions.
Three times a day, Variks visits the “royal cell block” and checks on Uldren, who usually sits in a corner of his cell talking to himself. But suddenly, Uldren addresses Variks and tells him that his Kell, Mara Sov, is still alive. Uldren asks if Variks knows where his true loyalty lies.
What does Variks do with the Ether? Although Petra had forbidden it, Variks begins experiments on the corrupted Ether. He wants to uncover the secret of the fanatic and hopes to find a cure for Uldren in the process.
When Variks realizes that the Ether from Fikrul resurrects dead Fallen, the fanatic laughs and tells Variks that now he knows where his loyalty lies.
At the mention of loyalty, Variks expected a memory of Mara Sov, but instead, he thinks of the prophecies of House Rain: That one day a Fallen warrior will rise, whose enemies will flee or fall, and he will heal and unite the Fallen Houses. The Kell of Kells.
Thus the Scorn are freed: A few days later, Variks has made all the preparations to leave the Prison of Elders and to free Uldren and the Barons. He refers to the rescue as a final service to his Highness.
As the prison descends into chaos, Variks records two messages to be sent as soon as he leaves his post: One in the High Speech of the House of Judgment and one in the human language.
They call me a traitor. I, who was the most loyal. They do not think that I hear the words. Insects. Bug…Fallen. I hear the words. The House of Judgment always listens. No choice. To hold the houses together. Judgment always listens.
The Great Machine stood in Judgment. Eliksni fell into fighting. Fell into hatred. Cannot bear this hatred.
I can go nowhere else. I can be no one else, here. And so I will be Variks, the Kell. Messenger of the House of Judgment for the Eliksni. No choice. The Eliksni must rise…yes?

The next patch of World of Warcraft brings new models of the Night Elf Sabers. They now look really shaggy!
With new expansions and patches, the graphics of existing models are polished or new “HD” variants of old models are introduced in World of Warcraft from time to time. This is also the case in Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance. Blizzard is now taking on the Night Sabers.

Eight different models: A total of eight models have been found from the Sabers in the game data. The new look has a more pronounced texture with much more detail, but has also received some additional polygons. The Sabers now have significantly more hair on their heads and hind legs. The saddles are also now higher resolution. Overall, the big cats look much “wilder” in direct comparison to the old model.

This model does not replace the old Sabers: It is important to mention that the new Sabers are not a revision of the old, already available mounts. These will continue to keep their original model and will therefore not be revised. So no one has to say goodbye to their beloved old Saber.
Where can you find the new Sabers? How one becomes the owner of the new Sabers is not yet quite clear. However, it is possible that they will be left behind by rare enemies in the revamped Darkshore. In Fortnite the suspected challenges for week 2 of Season 6 are now known. Dataminers have found and leaked the preliminary challenges.
Datamining leak for all upcoming challenges: The tasks of week 2 from Season 6 have been dug up by dataminers from the game code. As in week 1, the challenges are simple yet dynamic.
It is striking that there seem to be no treasure hunts or hidden locations. Instead, there are many missions in which you should inflict kills or damage with various weapons.
But as always, this information is based on datamining and therefore may not be accurate. Additionally, everything could still change before the start of week 2 (expected on Thursday).
The free challenges without a Battle Pass in Season 6, week 2
Visit all corrupted areas (7): This task should be easy to complete. The corrupted areas are highly visible. If this task really comes to the game, you just need to devise a good route and visit as many areas as possible.
Use a Shadow Stone in different matches (3): If you complete the task with the corrupted areas, you can simultaneously complete this one. The Shadow Stones are scattered around all the corrupted areas. You need to collect three in different matches.
Stage 1: Inflict damage with standard assault rifles (1): This task is not difficult as there are many assault rifles available. Standard assault rifles likely refer to the regular M16, the SCAR, and the two versions of the Burst Assault Rifle. After the first stage, you will continue with other weapons.
For these 4 tasks in week 2, you need the Battle Pass
Eliminate opponents from at least 50 meters away (1): This challenge is especially for fans of assault rifles and sniper rifles. Just make sure to take someone down from a distance.
Inflict damage with pistols (500): Pistols are not particularly good weapons, but fortunately, you only need to inflict damage. 500 points might take some time, but eventually, everyone should be able to complete it. As a last resort, you can go into the 50vs50 mode or another team battle and pump a downed opponent with pistol shots.
Eliminate opponents with submachine guns (3): SMGs are still excellent weapons in the game. Three kills with them should be achievable for everyone.
Stage 1: Inflict damage with hunting rifles (200): A tricky challenge since hunting rifles are not necessarily the best weapons and do not appear frequently either. The subsequent tasks may similarly be specific and annoying.

The new research breakthrough with Suicune also brings trainers new field research in Pokémon GO this month. There is now a new Shiny and a new Pandir form available from the quests.
The new field researches that you can obtain at PokéStops mainly focus on the Water type. This is because the legendary Water Pokémon Suicune is now available as a research breakthrough.
Additionally, like last month with Fukano, a new Shiny form is making its way into the game. Furthermore, Pandir number 1 is obtainable from the quests.
Quests in October at Pokémon GO
The following new quests have been compiled by members of TheSilphRoad and are now available in Pokémon GO:
Until now, trainers could only catch two forms of Pandir in Pokémon GO. Those were form number 8 and form number 3. All forms differ by the spots on Pandir’s head.
New form: Now trainers can find form number 1 in Pokémon GO. The following screenshot shows what it looks like in the game.
Easy catch: You can obtain Pandir through the quest “Land two good curveball throws”. That shouldn’t be a problem.
Monthly rotation: After forms 8 in August and 3 in September, now the third form appears in the third month. One can now assume that the other forms will also be added in the coming months.
New Shiny – Krabby
For several days now, we have known that the shiny form of Krabby has been added to Pokémon GO. This Pokémon is now obtainable through the task “Catch 5 Water Pokémon”, or it can also be found in the wild.
