In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the challenges for week 2 in Season 6 are now online. We will show you how to complete this week’s tasks and progress in the Battle Pass.
Massive kills and almost nothing else: Season 6 seems to have a trend: fewer specific challenges, but many general challenges that can be solved in various ways and multiple phases.
After the rather tame tasks from week 1, week 2 continues with an excess of kills and damage. However, there are still no treasure hunts, and the special task is really easy.
Free and paid: As previously known from Season 5, three of these challenges are available for free to all players. We will show you these in the first table illustrated here.
However, for the four tasks from the second list, you will need the paid Battle Pass for around €9.50.
All challenges from week 2 in Season 6
Challenge 1 – Visit all cursed areas
So easy! This task is one of the easiest there is. You simply need to visit all seven areas marked with a rune by the Cube from Season 5. You can see them from the air as gray-brown spots on the map.
Ideally, you should go into the 50vs50 mode and check all the locations on your side of the line first. You might even be able to reach some from the other side before the match ends.
No rush: You can visit multiple areas in one round, but it’s not worth it if you also want to complete the next task with the Shadow Stones. Since you need three stones in three rounds, it makes sense to distribute the areas so that you visit them in three matches. This way, you can complete both challenges simultaneously.
Challenge 2 – Use a Shadow Stone in different matches
Simple task: This challenge is also a joke. You simply need to land in one of the corrupted areas and pick up one of the Shadow Stones there. That’s it. However, only one stone counts per match. Ideally, combine this challenge with the previous task regarding the corrupted areas.
Challenge 3 – Stage 1: Deal damage to opponents with standard assault rifles (Hard)
Easy start: This task has three phases. In the first, you simply need to deal 200 damage with an assault rifle. This can possibly be done with a single opponent fully shielded. After this task, further challenges may follow, which could be harder.
Challenge 4 – Eliminate an opponent from at least 50m away (Battle Pass only)
Prefer sniper kills: This task may be a bit tricky. Getting kills from a great distance is rather difficult but still doable. Ideally, use sniper rifles or assault rifles.
Challenge 5 – Deal damage to opponents with pistols (Battle Pass only)
A bit tricky: This is about damage, not kills. 500 points of damage is quite a lot, and pistols are usually not good weapons. So use this trick: Look for downed opponents in team or preferably 50vs50 mode and shoot at them with pistols. This way, you can quickly accumulate the 500 damage.
Challenge 6 – Eliminate opponents with the submachine gun (hard, Battle Pass only)
Kills with the best weapons: Submachine guns are still top weapons. With them, everyone can get three kills, especially with the P90, the “Mini submachine gun“.
Challenge 7 – Stage 1: Deal damage to opponents with hunting rifles (hard, Battle Pass only)
Also tricky: The hunting rifle is not a weapon that everyone can handle well. Moreover, it is a very specific weapon and not a weapon genre.
It may take a while before you even find one. Ideally, you should deal damage to defenseless opponents in 50vs50 who have gone down before you.
This is only phase 1: It is likely that you will need to complete the further tasks with even more exotic weapons.
