The developers of The Elder Scrolls Online, Zenimax Online Studios, are apparently planning a new multiplayer online game. This is likely being developed for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and will be based on a new game brand. All of this is indicated by a job advertisement.
How do we know about the new MMO? It’s not as if Zenimax Online announced they are building a new MMO, but they are looking for via job advertisement (via jobs.zenimax.com) a developer who will likely establish the foundation for a new MMO.
The individual is supposed to develop the core engine for the new project. This means that the project is still in its early stages.
What does the job advertisement reveal about the new game: The information is still sparse and all comes from the job advertisement:
the new game is apparently going to be based on a “new exciting IP”. So it is not a brand that anyone already knows. They are not suddenly planning a “Fallout Online” or “The Elder Scrolls Online 2”.

Even Black Desert is haunted by dark creatures in October. A short video prepares players for the upcoming event “Halloween Escapades”.
Black Desert often and happily celebrates with players. Among the festivities are Saint Patrick’s Day, Christmas, and Halloween. Last year, there was a heavily Alice in Wonderland-inspired event. This year, you will be haunted by a ghost.
What does the trailer show? In the middle of a spooky forest, you can catch a glimpse of a creepy villa. Inside, you see the event boss “Haunt” causing trouble. Haunt wears the mask of a plague doctor and appears regularly near your character during the event to challenge you.

Not in Europe: However, there are no reports from Europe that Pachirisu has been sighted, even though some parts of the continent lie north of the 52nd parallel.

Where can you catch Venuflibis? This Pokémon has only a small area in which it appears. Only a few states in the USA and the Bahamas have reported this Pokémon so far. It seems that the state lines are taken as a boundary.

Where can you catch Plaudagei? The colorful parrot cannot be caught everywhere either. The boundary here is likely the line between the northern and southern hemispheres. A single ability can ruin the entire run in “Mythic+” dungeons of World of Warcraft, as multiple groups have painfully experienced.
Even nearly two months after the launch of Battle for Azeroth, annoying bugs still occur in World of Warcraft from time to time. Most of the time, they are not disturbing, but when they cost players a “Mythic+” run, it becomes very frustrating. Some Death Knights have now witnessed how quickly a single ability can ruin the whole dungeon.
What happened? In Atal’Dazar on the “Mythic+15” difficulty, a group was just about to engage the boss Priestess Alun’za when strange things happened during the boss fight. The tank, a Death Knight, was teleporting all over the dungeon multiple times in just a few seconds!
It’s no surprise that after a few moments, this caused the fight to fail and the time limit for the dungeon could no longer be achieved.

What triggers the error? The cause of all this misery was an ability of the Death Knight, namely “Control Undead”. This spell takes control of an enemy undead for 5 minutes, causing it to fight for the Death Knight. However, during the fight, the spell expired, and the “Reanimated Honor Guard” broke free.
Instead of fighting against their former master, they instead ran back to their original spot in the dungeon – but without losing aggro and fully resetting.
Why was the Death Knight teleported? Many enemies, especially bosses, have the ability in World of Warcraft to teleport a player directly in front of them if they find no way to reach them. Since both the Reanimated Honor Guard and Priestess Alun’za were engaged in the fight, they repeatedly teleported the tank back and forth in order to be able to attack them again.
There has been no response from Blizzard yet. Therefore, it will likely be a while before this bug is fixed. Our advice is: Use “Control Undead” only with caution. Otherwise, it could ruin your run.

How did people find this out? It is quite unlikely that someone stumbles upon something like this by accident. Highlight intros can only be seen at the end of a match, and only when you get the “Play of the Game”, meaning you have created a particularly memorable moment.
Reddit user MirrorMaster discovered the connection between the intros. In the related thread on reddit, a discussion followed. Users do not believe that the intros transition so smoothly by chance. The fact that they are so rarely seen is probably why not many people have discovered this connection yet.
One user also pointed out that Blizzard used the same sequence of intros in Ana’s reveal video. Only “In the Crossfire” is missing, which was implemented into the game only in early 2018.

Will the runes soon explode around us?
What have the dataminers found? In the code of Patch 6.10, dataminers found hints of an upcoming event in the game. Accordingly, something will happen with the runes. There are text lines in the code that indicate five actions of the runes:

How to get the Water Strider quickly? This week, the Timewalking: Mists of Pandaria event is happening again. This means you can exchange your Timewarped Badges with Mistweaver Xia for reputation rewards. You can find Mistweaver Xia on the Timeless Isle (see map).
Each reward from the Anglers costs 50 Timewarped Badges and grants 300 reputation. You get Timewarped Badges from Timewalking dungeons, which you can sign up for through the Dungeon Finder.
The rewards are reputation in its purest form – it doesn’t get faster than this!
Having multiple characters is advantageous: It’s especially easy to farm reputation if you have multiple characters at a high level. Because with the first dungeon of each character, you receive a quest item that you can exchange for a whopping 500 Timewarped Badges. That alone is equivalent to 10 rewards from the Anglers!
Since you can send the rewards to other characters on your account, you can achieve the necessary reputation in just a few hours.
105 rewards for the mount: From “neutral” to “exalted”, you need exactly 105 rewards, which corresponds to 5250 Timewarped Badges. It’s important that after reaching the reputation level “respectful” (after 70 badges), you visit the Anglers and buy the “Great Angler’s Reward Badge”. This increases your reputation gain with this faction by 100%. Afterwards, you only need 35 more badges to reach exalted.

Those who do not earn the reputation this way must laboriously grind it with daily quests and rare fishing drops. It’s hardly possible to get the Water Strider faster than now. So use this week, as the next opportunity won’t come for several months.

Our reader DevilRon1989 spent many hours over the weekend in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and wants to present what he likes less about Blackout, the Battle Royale mode, and what changes he wishes for.
How is Blackout so far? First of all, it must be said that Blackout is incredibly fun. What follows is clearly criticism at a high level, as Blackout gets a lot of things right: It looks good, plays fast, runs quite bug-free, and offers a lot of action without colorful llamas.
Blackout is hard to measure against Fortnite, as Fortnite offers completely different content and gameplay mechanics. However, I can already say that Blackout clearly outshines PUBG for me. PUBG still struggles with bugs on PC, and we shouldn’t even talk about the Xbox version.
But what does Blackout do wrong in my opinion? Here is a list of some points of criticism.
1. Airdrops need better items
This is how the airdrops are in other Battle Royale games: What works particularly well in Fortnite and especially in PUBG are the airdrops. These are the supply drops that are dropped by plane over a random landing point on the map within the circle. In PUBG, you can find the best items in these crates.
Camouflage suits
One-hit snipers
Heavy machine guns
Many of the items are only available through the supply drops. Opening such a box feels great. This is how I come into possession of items that the opponent does not have.
This is how the airdrops are in Blackout: At this point, Call of Duty fails a bit because the crates in Blackout do not contain exclusive items. While you can also find good items in them, such as a LVL 3 armor or weapons that are already fully equipped, these can also be found randomly in other places in the game.
If I’m unlucky, I might even find a weapon in this crate that I already have in my hands, and I’m only missing a stock for it. It’s not worth it to seek out such an airdrop just for this in my opinion. Especially not when you are already in the late game, and the deadly circle has become so small that an opposing player could be lurking around every corner.
In this regard, Blackout could have clearly looked to PUBG and offered exclusive content only for the airdrops.
2. Wingsuits reduce strategic planning
What happens after the jump? Like in other Battle Royale games, the player is also dropped from a flying vehicle here and must shortly thereafter decide where he wants to land. In Blackout, however, it does not matter what linear flight path the helicopters follow, as pretty much every point on the map can be reached after jumping.
This is all well and good, as we know this approach from Fortnite as well. If someone wants to aim for a far-away landing spot here, he has to open his glider quickly and can cover a greater distance due to a significantly reduced speed.
What is the problem with the wingsuits? Unlike Fortnite, the player character in Blackout also has a wingsuit, which is cool, but also causes problems. It doesn’t matter where I jump out, as with a trick I can reach any landing spot at maximum speed.
To do this, one only needs to go into a free fall for a few seconds after jumping and then pull the control back up. The character receives a significant boost that lasts until the landing spot.
This fits well with Call of Duty’s fast play style, but it also robs the Battle Royale mode a bit of its tactical depth, as good timing when jumping plays only a minor role here.
There, the zombie curse must be broken by eliminating a relatively small number of undead to later obtain exclusive loot.
These are the problems with the zombies:
An extraordinarily large problem is the high health of the undead. It is not uncommon to need an entire magazine just to take down one zombie.
It’s noisy – incredibly noisy!
In Blackout, numerous buffs can be found that are not too rare. For example, a buff called “Paranoia” that significantly enhances the auditory perception of the character. With it, even distant sounds can be pinpointed quite accurately.
So if you’re on a zombie hunt, the likelihood is very high that enemy players can hear your shots. In general, in Battle Royale: Every unnecessary movement, every unnecessary sound should be avoided!
