With Fortnite, developer Epic has announced an experiment. With update 6.20, gliders will function differently and can open a second time. This will make the Limited Time Mode “Soaring” the new normal for a week. Fans are concerned: Will there be no fall damage anymore?
This is the experiment: When update 6.20 goes live in Fortnite, players will be able to reopen gliders if they are at least three floors, about 10 meters, high in the air. The glider will open upon pressing a button.
So far, this was only possible in a special mode “Soaring”. With update 6.20, reopening the glider will be possible in all game modes. The special feature of the Limited Time Mode back then will thus become the new norm.
This applies to Solo, Duo, or Squad matches. The experiment will last for a week initially.
This is the old mode: The mode “Soaring 50’s” arrived with patch 5.21 on August 15, 2018. However, this was only a mode for 50 players – the new normal will be open to all. The other features of the mode, such as more jump pads, will not be included.
Does Fortnite eliminate fall damage with this?
The main impact of the experiment: The change will significantly reduce fall damage, because players can just float again when they would otherwise fall to their death.
However, this could also make Fortnite significantly more dynamic. If you wanted to pull off insane air stunts with the glider in the past, you had to get a launch pad in Fortnite.
This is what Epic wants to learn: Epic wants to know how one such mechanic affects the game.
When will update 6.20 come? This is still not entirely clear at the moment. However, the update could be rolled out on Wednesday morning, October 24, between 10:00 and 12:00 noon.
Fans initially skeptical
How players are reacting: The “Glider Deploy Test” is already provoking some reactions in the reddit forum.
It seems clear that this change removes fall damage from the game unless you fall awkwardly on a slope; otherwise, players would always be able to avoid fall damage.
There are concerns that it may become unnecessary to destroy enemy buildings, as they will not fall to their death but simply glide away.
Some find this effect good in special modes but are unsure if they want the glider to reopen in all modes; they fear it could make Fortnite “too cozy.”
Overall, it seems the change is viewed more critically and fans are initially skeptical.
But if it turns out terrible, Epic will surely reverse the change quickly. In any case, the test is only scheduled for one week.
This is what else is happening in Fortnite right now:
This leak regarding the Steam sales probably does not suit Valve at all. The dates for the upcoming discount campaigns have already been published. Are these the dates for the Autumn, Halloween, and Winter Sale?
Every year, gamers look forward to the big sales events on Steam. Hundreds of game titles are drastically reduced in price, and most players can pick up a few titles that will then languish unplayed in their Steam accounts for years.
There is always a big secret surrounding the exact dates of these sales, but in 2018, the guessing seems to be over. An internal developer source has revealed the dates for the upcoming discount campaigns to Kotaku.
The dates for the Steam Sales 2018
Which sales are we talking about? The dates have been published for:
Steam Halloween Sale
Steam Autumn Sale
Steam Winter Sale
When does the Steam Halloween Sale take place? The Halloween sale starts, not surprisingly, around Halloween. The discount event begins on October 29 and runs until November 1.
When does the Steam Autumn Sale take place? The Autumn Sale lasts a week as in previous years and starts on November 21. It ends 6 days later on November 27.
When does the Steam Winter Sale take place? The largest event is the annual Winter Sale around the Christmas shopping period. For two weeks, there are plenty of discounted games on Steam, namely from December 20, 2018, to January 3, 2019.
Please keep in mind that these dates are not yet officially confirmed, but the leak seems credible. According to this information, you just have to wait a few more days until the Halloween Sale, the first discount event, begins.
Are you already looking forward to the various discount actions? Or have you learned from previous years and are only buying what you can actually play? How large has your “Pile of Shame” become by now?
In Destiny 2 today, on October 23rd, is the Weekly Reset. What activities and challenges does the new week bring? What are the new Nightfall strikes and where is the Flashpoint?

Flashpoint, Petra, Bounties, and Festival of the Lost
If you haven’t done it yet: Talk to Amanda Holiday. There’s a gift and the first step of the festival quest for everyone who hasn’t started this task yet. And don’t worry – The event weapon “Chilling Story” is still there.
The Flashpoint is today in the EDZ on Earth. There is also a heroic adventure that drops powerful gear.
Ikora Rey lets you complete 20 bounties for powerful gear.
Hawthorne lets you gather 5,000 XP with clan bounties for powerful gear. Additionally, she offers the weekly raid challenge “Endless Battle”, which also drops powerful gear when successfully completed.
At the Vendor you can undertake the weekly bounty “In the Mill” for powerful gear.
Petra Venj is this time by the pavilion in the area “The Shore”. She has a mission for which you will receive powerful gear – as well as for the Ascendant Challenge and the completion of 8 daily bounties. This time, the Ascendant Challenge of the week 2 is active.
Spider offers the bounty Silent Reaper, which has powerful gear as a reward. You need 5 Spirit Fragments for that.
The loadout for the prestige raid challenges is this time restricted to a kinetic hand cannon, an energy sniper rifle, and any weapon in the power slot. The modifier is Prism.
The raid challenge takes place this time in the Royal Baths.
In the Eververse, you’ll find among other things parts of the Festival armor set (chest and leg pieces), the exotic Sparrow Winchester’s Ruin, and the exotic Ghost shell Stonework Amalgam.
Fans of Borderlands are waiting for the announcement of Borderlands 3. We are looking into what is happening. Fans hope that more information about the release will come in December. A supposed leak gives quiet hope.
Since May 2018, not much has been publicly said about Borderlands 3.
2 independent sources allegedly confirm: Localization is in progress
This gives fans hope now: A YouTube video says they have received information about Borderlands 3 from sources.
Two sources would have independently confirmed to the YouTubers that Borderlands 3 has been in the localization process for several languages for several months now.
This means that Borderlands is currently being translated. This is usually a step that comes quite late in the development of a game. You must first have all the texts and stories before you can translate them.
This is what fans are hoping for right now: On the forum “reddit”, people are speculating when Borderlands 3 might be announced.
With so late in the year, there are hardly any big conferences left. Especially because the PlayStation Experience will not take place in 2018, only a few big stages are available for a presentation. The PlayStation Experience would have actually been a good date.
Currently, fans have their eyes on the Video Game Awards on December 7. That would be a good time for an announcement.
This is what lies behind it: One must assume that Borderlands 3 is banking on a “short hype phase”. Unlike games like The Division 2 or Anthem, which are announced for a year but have little to show, Borderlands 3 likely wants a short and hot presentation phase and remains silent until then.
If you want Mods for your armor and weapons in Destiny 2, you need either luck and time or a lot of Mod components in Year 2. We will show you 2 methods to get Mod components with little effort.
However, if you want to purchase Mods from the gunsmith, you need a lot of Mod components – 10 per Mod. Here’s how to get the components.
How to farm Mod components in Destiny 2
There is no really direct way to obtain Mods or Mod components. Here, playtime and the RNG factor play a major role.
However, clever guardians have found ways to reliably obtain Mod components with relatively little effort and thus stock up on Mods at least from the gunsmith.
Method 1 to farm Mod components in Destiny 2
The first farming method is based on the fact that Mod components can drop with a certain probability when dismantling rare (blue) items from Year 1. You need enough Glimmer and Gunsmith materials.
Here’s what you need to do:
Clear all 9 special slots in your guardian’s inventory
Now go to the collections and find a blue energy weapon. The grenade launcher Rough Language is perfect for this. It costs you 250 Glimmer and 3 materials each.
Buy 9 of this grenade launcher
Dismantle all 9 copies
This gives you an average of 1-2 Mod components
You can repeat this as often as you want until you run out of resources or have gathered enough Mod components. Additionally, you get back 125 Glimmer and 2 Gunsmith components per dismantled weapon. So, on average, a Mod component will cost you 1,125 Glimmer and 9 Gunsmith materials.
Method 2 to farm Mod components in Destiny 2
The second method that many guardians swear by focuses on level ups with Brother Vance on Mercury. However, it largely depends on what the vendor Spider has available from the Tangled Shore.
Here’s what you need to do:
If Spider has Simulation Seeds, the destination materials of Mercury, buy as many as you can. Ideally several hundred.
Then fly to Brother Vance and redeem all Simulation Seeds with him. This will rank you up with him.
For rank-ups, Brother Vance will reward you with legendary Year 1 gear – often even as a Masterwork.
Dismantle all items you receive from Vance. You’ll get more Mod materials and some Masterwork cores – a nice side effect.
As with the first method, you get back a large portion of the legendary shards and Glimmer you spent on the Simulation Seeds.
EA Sports has announced the release of the second title update for FIFA 19. Some bugs will be fixed.
At this point, the update comes: On PC, the second update will be available from October 23. On PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, players can access the patch from Friday, October 26.
This is changing in gameplay:
Trick shots adjusted: Among other things, bicycle kicks, side volleys, and other trick shots have been adjusted. These were used by players who were not actually capable of performing them in unusual situations. The accuracy of trick shots has also been reduced. Here is the comparison before and after the update.
Dynamic tactics: It is now possible to make adjustments to the match plan even during a game and to modify dynamic tactics. Player substitutions should also be better accepted during tactical changes.
Improved goalkeepers: Several goalkeeper errors have been fixed. There were instances where your keeper did not catch the ball. Also, unintended, meaningless jumps in random directions have been eliminated. Also important: Fixing errors during goal kicks.
This is what it looks like after the update:

Division Rivals: On the opponent screen before the match, the founding date and club name of your opponent in Division Rivals will no longer be displayed. Exception: If you select “Show members”, you can still see the name. This will be adjusted in an upcoming update. This is what the new screen looks like:
Audio adjustments: Several players complained that distracting audio files were played during the game (for example, menu music). This bug has also been fixed.
The patch notes for title update 2
Other changes: In addition, EA has fixed many other minor bugs that could have disrupted the gaming experience. If you want to get an overview of all changes, you can find the patch notes in the comprehensive blog post by EA Sports.
Did you notice any other bugs? Already in an early first title update, EA fixed several bugs. A comprehensive discussion on whether early patches are necessary can be found here:

Bethesda wrote a letter to the fans of Fallout 76, in which they spoke about their fear of releasing a game in the series online for the first time.
What is the letter about? Bethesda describes how the studio feels about the game and what emotions the developers associate with Fallout 76. In 2015, the studio decided to take a “very new and very scary” step. They set the goal of developing a Fallout online survival game, bidding farewell to single-player.
Directly with the decision to create a purely online game came doubts. The developers were unsure how to launch a game on that scale and whether fans would accept such a Fallout.
What Fallout 76 will be lies in the hands of the players
The journey begins, players determine where it goes: The start of Fallout 76 is the beta launch on Xbox One. How the game develops from there should depend on the players themselves. Because without NPCs, it will be the players themselves who bring Fallout 76 to life.
Bethesda usually takes a break after the release of games. This time, however, they feel that the journey is just starting after the release.
Bethesda prepares for problems and bugs, asking for the fans’ help
Some issues are known, others are not: The developers are already sure that a game of this scale will lead to stumbling blocks. They even expect spectacular problems and bugs.
There are some areas where Bethesda already knows where the studio needs to make adjustments. This includes areas where performance still needs improvement. However, the studio also assumes there will be problems that they cannot anticipate. Here, Bethesda asks fans for help in identifying them.
Bethesda thanks the fans at the end for supporting them in taking a new step towards online. How Fallout 76 develops, we will find out in the coming weeks and months.
We show you in our solo raid guide how you can defeat the current Level 3 Raids in Pokémon GO on your own.
Together with the 4th Generation, Niantic also introduced new raid bosses in Pokémon GO. In total, there are five Level 3 raid bosses, which, however, do not belong to the 4th Generation. We will show you which Pokémon you can use to take down the raid bosses.
Solo Guide for T3 Raids like Tangela, Machoke, Alolan Raichu
Three of the five raid bosses can be evolved in the 4th Generation, so it is quite important to battle the current raid bosses.
Porygon – Very Easy
Max CP: 895 (1120 with weather bonus)
Type: Normal
Weaknesses: Fighting
Best Counters: Machoke, Kapilz, Hariyama
Alternative Counters: Lohgock, Mewtwo, Alakazam, Dragonite
Notes: Porygon is probably the easiest Level 3 raid boss overall. With a team of Machoke at level 20, this raid boss can already be defeated. Those using Fighting-type Pokémon should not have any difficulties at all. Even Pokémon that generally have high attack can easily defeat this Pokémon.
Difficulty: Very Easy
Glalie – Very Easy
Max CP: 1305 (1631 with weather bonus)
Type: Ice / Ground
Weaknesses: Water, Fighting, Fire, Grass, Steel
Best Counters: Kyogre, Machoke, Entei, Hariyama, Moltres
Alternative Counters: Gyarados, Charizard, Flareon, Mewtwo
Notes: Glalie likely shares the title of the weakest Level 3 raid boss with Porygon. Additionally, Glalie has many weaknesses. Every player has at least six Pokémon that are effective and can defeat Glalie. Here, too, players should not have any difficulties.
Difficulty: Very Easy
Machoke – Easy
Max CP: 1650 (2063 with weather bonus)
Type: Fighting
Weaknesses: Psychic, Flying, Fairy
Best Counters: Mewtwo, Moltres (with Sky Attack), Rayquaza, Alakazam, Espeon
Alternative Counters: Dragonite, Lickitung, Rossana
Notes: Machoke should also be relatively easy to take down. Especially Mewtwo with Psychic attacks deals massive damage. Legendary Pokémon with Flying attacks are also good attackers. Trainers using the recommended counters against Machoke should not encounter difficulties during the raid.
Difficulty: Easy
Alolan Raichu – Medium
Max CP: 1224 (1531 with weather bonus)
Type: Electric / Psychic
Weaknesses: Ground, Dark, Ghost, Bug
Best Counters: Mewtwo, Tyranitar, Gengar
Alternative Counters: Groudon, Houndoom, Banette, Absol, Pinsir
Notes: Alolan Raichu has many strong opponents against it. It is sufficient if the Pokémon mentioned above are at least level 25. If you use these Pokémon, you should be able to defeat Alolan Raichu as well.
Difficulty: Medium
Tangela – Hard
Max CP: 1262 (1577 with weather bonus)
Type: Grass
Weaknesses: Ice, Fire, Poison, Bug, Flying
Best Counters: Moltres, Entei, Rayquaza, Charizard, Flareon
Alternative Counters: Lohgock, Gengar, Arcanine
Notes: Tangela benefits from a high defense value, making it quite hard to defeat. However, it also has many weaknesses. Fire Pokémon or the Legendary ones with Flying attacks can take Tangela down. It requires some experience to take on Tangela successfully.
Difficulty: Hard
Prepare for the 4th Generation: Niantic wants to give players the opportunity with this wave of raids to secure good Pokémon that can then be evolved in the 4th Generation. Glalie, Tangela, and Porygon all receive evolutions, and it is recommended to have these Pokémon with good IVs.
We reveal 7 little details and features that make Red Dead Redemption 2 even better than its predecessor.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, there are a number of features and cool details that even impact gameplay. Many of these mechanics are new and not known from the predecessor. We will share a few fun, interesting, or exciting mechanics that will enrich your life as Arthur. We refer to the US site Gamespot, which has already had hands-on experience with Red Dead Redemption 2.
Clothing is crucial: Arthur can be customized with different clothing, but it’s about more than just looks.
For example, wearing thick clothing on a hot summer day can visibly cause Arthur’s stamina to suffer. Similarly, wearing thin clothing in wintery conditions also leads to problems.
If you don’t clean your weapons regularly, you might find out in the middle of shooting that the gun suddenly jams and won’t fire anymore. Keeping your weapon clean should be a high priority.
Meat rots and thus your profit: If you hunt an animal and want to process its meat or sell the fur, you should hurry. After a while, the meat begins to rot and attracts pests.
This not only decreases the value of your loot, but also your attractiveness. If you are surrounded by flies and maggots and smell bad, you won’t find many conversation partners.
Appearance is important: Since we are on the subject of attractiveness – your appearance matters. After long fights with a lot of blood, you should wash up, as blood also causes an unpleasant smell and hinders the willingness of many NPCs to converse. At the same time, your hair grows permanently and occasionally needs a trim.
By the way, haircuts are realistic: At the barber, you can only choose hairstyles that have shorter hair than your current one. There’s no magical hair extension in RDR2.
Your hat is not permanent: Every good cowboy needs a hat, and that’s no different in RDR2. However, if you’re not careful, you could lose your hat in a shootout. You then have to find it again and put it back on.
Alternatively, you can also just put on the hat of a defeated opponent. Westworld sends its regards…
Kill-Cam for heroes and villains: One particularly cool detail is the kill-cam that activates when defeating the last enemy in a fight. The final kill is presented impressively and is based on your play style:
If you have been playing honorably and virtuously, the final kill will be portrayed like a heroic showdown from many western films.
If, however, you are more ruthless, the scene will be brutal and bloody, resembling an execution.
Whistling and warning shots: To attract the attention of NPCs in RDR2, you have several options – a conversation is not always possible immediately. You can also fire a warning shot into the sky to ensure that you have the attention of the NPCs. Whether that’s a good idea is another question.
Wild animals bothering you? A warning shot and they flee.
A nasty villain glaring at you? A warning shot should intimidate him.
Pretty lady at the saloon? Just whistle after her.
Want to call your horse? A whistle and it comes to you.

It has been a while since the shared-world shooter Anthem has been somewhat quiet. Now, Bioware employees have announced new gameplay.
The hype around Anthem has stalled a bit. Since the last 20-minute gameplay from E3 2018, there has been no new material to see, and information has only been trickled out via Twitter.
Now, Bioware staff have announced a new gameplay livestream, which is set to arrive early November. The gameplay will likely come from the alpha version of Anthem.
First Anthem gameplay that is not from the E3 demo?
Will we see new gameplay? Mike Gamble, executive producer at Bioware, announced that he will grab a “random” build of Anthem to showcase gameplay.
So, Bioware might showcase the first unscripted gameplay. This is likely to be an early alpha version.
When and where will the stream take place? Originally, they planned to stream on Halloween. Now, Gamble has announced the live stream for November 1st. Irving will probably be seen in a Transformers costume. At least that’s what his colleague claims.
According to Irving, the stream will most likely be on Twitch. A specific time has not yet been announced.
This is all I wanted. It doesn’t even have to be special gameplay […].
SirWilliamB suspects:
No other developer would just show a “random build”. They must be very confident in their game and the current version must be polished.
The stream is long overdue for many, hence the news is received very positively.
However, it will still take some time until fans can play themselves. Before Anthem releases on February 22, there will be a VIP demo for pre-order customers.
Fortnite: Battle Royale is getting spooky. Soon, the big Halloween event “Fortnitemares” will kick off. This will likely include a new skin and possibly new challenges.
What is Halloween all about? Recently, Epic has been posting small pictures and spooky poems daily on Twitter. They featured ghouls, gravestones, and revolvers. Additionally, there was a grim looking undead cowboy.
When does it start? Meanwhile, the third and final picture for the “Fortnitemares” event is here. Epic has finally revealed the start date:
The Halloween event in Fortnite will start on October 24, 2018. There will likely be a big update.
The end of the event is also known. It will end on November 26, 2018, just over a week before the expected end of Season 6.

The cowboy could be a reward for an event or available in the shop. Then, possibly new challenges will be unlocked after the purchase, similar to the Wildcard skins.
In any case, the official announcement for the event states that there are “spooky rewards” for all who complete the new challenges for the event. This strongly indicates new tasks for all players.
A new game mode is suspected that revolves around Halloween. Some players even suspect a mode where zombies appear as PvE enemies, like in Blackout in Black Ops 4!
It is also possible that the revolver will make a return reworked from the vault. This pistol was recently removed from the game.
Will the cube plot finally end? Strangely, the description reads “Darkness has risen”. Previously, it simply said “Darkness rises”.
Perhaps tomorrow we will finally see the fate of the flying island and the purple cube, which are currently ominously tearing open a portal in the sky.
Not everything about Halloween in Fortnite is scary:
In a few days, the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 will take place. Right from the start, a patch is expected. We will present to you what RockStar recommends for launch day and the day-one patch.
Many fans are already counting the hours until the release of RDR 2. The anticipation for the western game by Rockstar Games is huge. To ensure everything runs smoothly at the beginning, the team recommends downloading the day-one patch.

Update right at release: For games of this magnitude, it is crucial to provide an update for download early on, explains Rockstar. Therefore, there will be an update available for RDR 2 right at the start on October 26.
What’s included in the Day 1 patch? This patch aims for a few bug fixes and adjustments.
Why should you download it? To provide the best possible gaming experience, Rockstar Games recommends downloading the update.
It sounds like the patch is optional and not mandatory. Who cannot wait to start playing could possibly start earlier but should expect more bugs.
Helpful for a great start in Red Dead Redemption 2 are the automatic updates on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
How big is the Day 1 patch? The Day 1 patch is 3.3 GB on PS4 and 3.2 GB on Xbox One.

This weekend, Amazon has released new screenshots of New World. This time, Brightwood is in the spotlight. Contrary to what the name might suggest, it is not so bright and friendly here. Its theme fits more with the currently dark and autumnal season.
What can we expect in Brightwood? Currently, New World regularly presents us with a new area from the Alpha. While the past weeks have focused on Windsward, Brightwood is now in the spotlight.
Both areas have in common that they are forested. While Windsward also includes fields and meadows, Brightwood feels significantly darker and its forest denser. However, not all areas of the game are necessarily dark as the screenshots from September show.
The environment of the game is comparable to present-day North America. As such, we will likely see forests and green spaces quite often in the early stages, as we start on the East Coast.
The further we progress in the game, the more diverse the regions may become.
The new screenshots of New World:
Are there also videos of New World? For the area of Windsward, the developers even released a short video some time ago. In it, they only walk through the area, but it gives us an impression of the new environment.
How can I sign up for the Alpha of New World? Registration for the Alpha takes place through the New World website. There you can click on the big “Register button” and will be redirected to an Amazon page. On this page, you can register with your account.
From time to time, there is also a chance to get an Alpha account through special giveaways. One of these took place last week on the Twitter account of New World. 30 new participants were selected in this action.
Blizzard is planning major changes to the Shadow Priest in Patch 8.1 of World of Warcraft. A lot of buffs are coming.
Together with the Shaman, the Shadow Priest is currently a concern for many players of World of Warcraft. It’s not much fun to play the Shadow Priest, and in higher “Mythic+” dungeons, they are rarely taken along, as their damage is somewhat laughable, as the current DPS ranking shows.
Now Blizzard has revealed how the Shadow Priest will be enhanced with the upcoming Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance. There will be numerous buffs.
The Void Form is set to become more significant: Blizzard believes that they have made the Void Form too weak. It does not carry enough significance anymore, and they want to change that. Consequently, there are three buffs for the Void Form:
Void Form increases spell damage by 20% (previously 10%).
The rate at which Insanity is drained in Void Form is reduced by 15%.
Void Bolt generates 25% more Insanity.
Improvements to Dispersion: The ability Dispersion has fallen out of favor with many players. It reduces damage taken by 60% for a few seconds but prevents spell casting. Blizzard acknowledges that this downside is significant, and therefore the effect should be more powerful.
Dispersion now reduces damage taken by 75% (previously 60%) and increases movement speed by 50%.
The talent Mania is replaced by Intangibility. It reduces the cooldown of Dispersion by 25% and heals the Shadow Priest for 50% of their health over the duration of Dispersion.
Taking less damage as a Shadow Priest: Currently, Shadow Priests cannot withstand enough damage. They sacrifice the damage reduction from Shadow Form in Void Form – that will change.
The passive effect of Shadow Form will disappear; however, Shadow Priests will now also receive Focused Will. When hit in melee, Shadow Priests will take 15% less damage for 8 seconds – this is stackable up to 2 times.
A PvP talent becomes standard: Also new is that the PvP talent “Hallucinations” becomes a standard for all Shadow Priests. In the future, successfully casting the following spells will generate 6 Insanity each:
Spell Lock
Mass Dispel
Cure Disease
Vampiric Embrace
Power Word: Shield
Thus, it is not a significant “loss” to help out and cast useful spells that do not deal direct damage.
Improvements to some talents: Other talents will also be slightly improved to make them more solid options.
Targets of Mind Bomb and Psychic Scream can now take 40% more damage before they are freed from the effect.
Void Torrent now generates 30 Insanity over its duration and deals 20% more damage. Additionally, it can also be cast outside of Void Form.
Lingering Insanity now decreases every 3 seconds instead of every 2 seconds.
Descent into Madness has a 33% shorter cooldown and now only causes a 15-second period where you cannot generate Insanity (previously 30 seconds).
The community is excited: The initial reactions from the community are overwhelmingly positive. Most Priests are pleased with the changes and are commenting with “Blizzard is actually listening” or “Wow, the changes are fantastic”.
However, a few players express concerns that the adjustments could make Shadow Priests too dominant in PvP. Some fine-tuning may be necessary here.
What do you think of the changes to the Shadow Priest? Are you looking forward to the buffs? Or would you prefer to see more changes to the playstyle?
We will show you what you can soon use to decorate children’s rooms (or the rooms of the young at heart).
Tracer and Widowmaker ($15): The two heroes Tracer and Widowmaker are fan favorites and share a background story. They come together with a payload that needs to be escorted across the room.
Hanzo and Genji in Hanamura ($20): The Shimada brothers also get their own set. Hanzo and Genji come with an outfit representing the final capture point of Hanamura. As a bonus, there’s a panicked security officer who seems to have just spotted Genji.
Reaper, Soldier: 76, and McCree in Dorado ($30): Another payload is included with the Dorado set, which features three heroes. In addition to the payload (which unfortunately cannot actually fly), there is McCree with his cowboy hat, Soldier: 76 with his big gun, and Reaper with a dose of edginess.
P.S.: Reaper even has a new ultimate that allows him to deal even more damage – stepping on him barefoot at night will virtually make his inflicted damage explode.
Tank set with Reinhardt and D.Va ($40): For those who prefer larger figures, there is a tank set featuring D.Va in her MEKA and Reinhardt in his battle suit. Both figures have movable parts, allowing you to pose Reinhardt’s arms or let him swing his hammer.
Gibraltar with 4 heroes ($90): The last set includes four heroes along with the moon rocket that players need to reach on the map Watchpoint: Gibraltar. In addition to the rocket with the launch platform, there are four figures: Mercy (with her Caduceus Staff), Winston, Pharah, and Reaper again.
Anyone who is a LEGO and Overwatch fan and has the corresponding “spending money” can soon beautify their room with the sets.
What do you think of the LEGO sets for Overwatch? A nice thing? Or way too expensive?
With the defeat of the Forsaken raid boss Riven, the Dreaming City in Destiny 2 has been cursed. There is still no way for the Guardians to break the curse. However, a data miner has now discovered when it might finally be possible.
The Dreaming City of the Awoken is caught in a three-week curse cycle. Each week, the corruption from the Taken curse in Forsaken increases, peaks in the third week, and then starts over again.
How long the city will remain trapped in this time loop and when the Guardians can expect something new there is still unknown. There have been no indications from Bungie.
Warning – Potential Spoilers! Read at your own risk!
Data miners reveal: The curse will likely last at least until February 2019
As a clever data miner has uncovered, it seems that the Guardians will have to wait until February 2019 to finally break this curse. Extracted voice lines from the game data of Destiny 2 suggest this.
Hence February is expected: The audio files apparently contain alternative dialogues that were recently added to the game. Two voice lines stand out in particular:
In a conversation between Mara Sov and the ghost of your Guardian, it is revealed that the curse of the Dreaming City is expected to last at least 7 cycles. Each cycle lasts three weeks.
In another dialogue, it is mentioned that the player has broken the curse. Merchants then refer to your Guardian as “Cursebreaker” – just like Riven, the Ahamkara final boss from the Forsaken raid. The connection between Riven and the player apparently strengthens over time.
If we assume that the curse will actually last for 7 full cycles, then the earliest one can expect that the Taken curse will finally be lifted is February 2019.
Currently, Bungie has not scheduled any major events for February in its roadmap for Forsaken. However, it is possible that an announcement will occur by then or that the curse will last longer than the 7 cycles.
What was also in the audio files: According to the words of the data miner, the factions that are currently taking a break for revision will play a larger role in the future. Additionally, there are new lines for the Crimson Days and the Dawning event, suggesting a return of both activities in year 2.
Fortnite: Battle Royale has set a new record again. An almost unknown streamer has achieved 35 kills alone in duo mode.
What happened? French YouTuber Payamz simply jumped into Fortnite and entered as a solo player in duo mode.
Then he cleared out and slaughtered over a third of the competition. Thus, Payamz reached a whopping 35 kills and broke the previous record in this mode.
It could have been even more: This performance is extremely good, especially since Payamz admits that he fell asleep right at the start of the game. He missed the opportunity for three more kills.
But even with “only” 35 kills, Payamz significantly surpassed the previous record in duo mode, which was set by pro gamers Teeqzy and Xewer with 31 kills. The two are well-known professionals who have already participated in the big Skirmish tournament by Epic.
The new record holder is neither a pro nor famous
Who is Payamz? The real sensation of the new record is that the player Payamz was a true nobody until now. His YouTube channel had not even 1,000 subscribers.
Fortnite success leads to more viewers: This has, of course, changed by now. At the time of this article, over 1,000 people are already firmly on the channel of Payamz. There will surely be more in the near future.

Is a pro career on the horizon? Many players are now wondering when and which eSports team will approach Payamz soon. Because after his performance in the duo mode, it seems clear that the guy has talent.
But no matter how it turns out, the story once again shows how one can become a star in Fortnite with good performance, going from nobody to star. Perhaps Payamz will soon get a chance to participate in a big tournament where he could earn a lot of money with such performance.
After over a year since the release on Xbox One, the action RPG Path of Exile from Grinding Gear Games might soon come to PS4 as well.
What happened? The Digital Game Rating Committee of Taiwan, its equivalent to our USK, has released a new rating for Path of Exile. The special thing about it is: the PS4 is listed as a platform for the game. So it can be assumed that the game will also be available on the Sony console in the future.
Unfortunately, this is the only information that comes from the committee’s rating. No release date has been mentioned, so it cannot be estimated when the PS4 version might go online with us.
What does the community say? The news was received positively on the “Path of Exile” subreddit. However, players found the possible consequences of a PS4 port much more interesting. The structure of the PS4’s firmware is very similar to that of the Linux operating system. Accordingly, the user acylus0 said:
“This is a gift from God. It could mean we get a Linux client”
Whether that will actually happen, however, is still up in the air.
Are you currently looking for games like Path of Exile or Diablo? Then we have something for you:
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, you can get special signature weapons and further enhance them with skins. One weapon has a particularly crazy Mastercraft skin: the Tactical Unicorn!
What are signature weapons? In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, you can get special variants of weapons. These signature weapons look different from the standard versions but have no gameplay advantages.
The Tactical Unicorn: The signature weapons can be further enhanced with skins. To do this, you must complete certain challenges. For the submachine gun GKS, the ultimate Mastercraft skin is the Tactical Unicorn.
Friendship is Firepower!
The weapon then turns into a (night)mare of bright colors, glittery stones, and overall pony-friendliness. The barrel is shaped like a unicorn, the forward grip has funny wobbling eyes, and a rainbow-colored mane flows on the tactical rail.
More kills, more glitter: It gets even better! If you rack up a lot of kills, the weapon will become even crazier. The colors glow brighter, and the gun sparkles joyfully!
Oh my God, I must have it!
If you are squealing with joy right now, you might be wondering how to get the Tactical Unicorn. First, you need to get a signature version of the GKS.
How do I get signature weapons? Some signature weapons, like the signature versions of the Strife and MX-9, were available as bonuses in special editions of the game.
However, the remaining weapons, such as the GKS, must be won in-game. You do this by leveling up on the Black Market (the progression system of Black Ops 4). Among the random loot available at some levels as rewards, a signature weapon like the GKS might drop.

Okay, I have my signature GKS, what now? Congratulations, you’ve already overcome the hardest hurdle. Now you just need to get 50 kills with your new signature GKS. That should be doable.
Once 50 enemies have died by your weapon, the Tactical Unicorn will be unlocked and can be used in the class editor as a skin for your signature GKS.
Is this still Call of Duty or already Fortnite?
The reactions from fans observed so far have been strongly “Pro-Unicorn.” Players seem to love the crazy look of the weapon and already compare it to colorful Fortnite skins like the Color Bomber or the Chief Cuddler.
What do you think of the weapon? But how do you see the “Tactical Unicorn”? Is it just a damn funny weapon skin like the famous “Dark Matter” or does it ruin the game for you when grim soldiers brutally and bloodily shoot you to pieces with colorful unicorn weapons?
