On the weekend of November 9 to 11, all Destiny 2 players who do not own the Forsaken expansion will have the opportunity to play the Gambit mode. To ensure your first time in Gambit is successful, we will help you with the entry.
Everyone who currently owns only the base game or only the Year 1 content of Destiny 2 will soon be able to experience an exclusive feature of the Forsaken expansion – the Gambit mode. But what is Gambit anyway? And what should one keep in mind there?
New to Gambit? Everything you need to know for a smooth start
What is Gambit? Gambit is a new game mode in Destiny 2 that came with the Forsaken expansion. The mode embodies a mix of cooperative PvE battles and PvP elements.
This is how Gambit plays: In this mode, two teams of four compete to see who will summon and defeat the Primeval, that is, the final boss, first. A match consists of three rounds. There is no time limit.
Once the match begins, the teams are teleported to their own, separated area where they must eliminate enemies and collect motes to summon the Primeval.
The map is divided into two halves. Each team plays on an individual gameplay area and initially has nothing to do with the opposing team. However, several times per round, there is an opportunity for a player to invade the enemy’s arena and cause chaos and confusion there. But watch out! The same applies in reverse.
You can learn how the mode works and find more useful details here:
When exactly can you try Gambit? The free weekend starts at 6 PM on November 9 and ends on November 11 at 6 PM.
On which platforms can I try Gambit? You can try the new PvEvP mode on PS4, Xbox One, and PC during this time.
What is required? All you need is the base version of Destiny 2. The two DLCs from the first year as well as the major Forsaken expansion are not required.
For a good start in the new PvEvP mode, you should also take a look at our Gambit guide. There, you will be explained various nuances and tricks to keep in mind.
Additionally, you will find suggestions for loadouts, Guardian classes, and general tips that will make your life in Gambit easier.
Nearly two years ago, the director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV, Naoki Yoshida, informed fans that a crossover event with Final Fantasy XV was in the works. Now, there is the first concrete information about the collaboration between the two games.
What happened? For about two years, there was complete silence regarding the crossover between the two major Square Enix games FFXIV and FFXV. Only occasionally did director Yoshida confirm that it was still in progress. According to him, the crossover should encompass more than just a few new costumes for players.
Until now, there had only been rumors and discoveries by data miners in the FFXV client. Now Square Enix has released the first official trailer, featuring a Miqo’te from Final Fantasy XIV entering the world of Eos in Final Fantasy XV. This is the FFXV side of the collaboration.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iy7-AsUzevA
What does this mean for FFXIV players? Director Yoshida stated in a statement that the crossover has been discussed extensively over the last two years. In a live broadcast, he added that he cannot make any statements regarding the FFXIV side of the collaboration yet. However, there is no doubt that it will happen.
The community expects the official announcement with all details to occur at the upcoming Fan Festival in Las Vegas next week. The crossover will start in Final Fantasy XV on December 13, and it is not unlikely that the event in Final Fantasy XIV could begin around the same time.
Wishes and speculations about the event: There are already initial speculations about what the collaboration could look like. After FFXV received the Primals Garuda from FFXIV as a boss fight, it can be assumed that FFXIV will also receive an iconic monster from FFXV. Similar to what happened during the crossover with Monster Hunter: World, when the monster Rathalos came to Eorzea.
Fans on Reddit are also expressing their wishes regarding the rewards for the quest. At the top of the list are:
The outfits of the Kingsglaive, a royal fighting unit that played the main role in the Final Fantasy XV movie
The Regalia car as a mount
The hairstyles of the four main characters from FFXV
The outfit of the popular Dragoon character Aranea
How the crossover will look is likely to be revealed to players next week.
The head of FFXIV has an interesting opinion on MMORPGs:
When does Red Dead Online start? Although there is no set date yet, there is now an approximate time frame for the multiplayer release of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Many Western fans are currently waiting for Rockstar Games to release the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2. Until now, it was only known that it would be sometime in November 2018.
What’s new? Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two, has narrowed down the release period a bit more. The plan remains November, but only in a few weeks.
Red Dead Online Release – When?
During an earnings call, Strauss Zelnick confirmed that Red Dead Online would be released “towards the end of the month.” Unfortunately, that’s not a specific date that fans were hoping for. However, it is now clear that players can enjoy the single-player mode at least for another two, possibly three weeks, before the online mode starts.
Starting first as a beta: Rockstar announced weeks ago that Red Dead Online will start first only as a beta. This is a welcome announcement for fans who experienced the launch of GTA Online. When GTA Online launched, nothing worked at first; the servers were unreliable. Players couldn’t enter the game.
For Red Dead Online, they say right away: There will be issues – The developers are expecting this due to the size of the project.
Does Red Dead Online also offer fun for solo players? The multiplayer of Red Dead Redemption 2 is supposed to offer content for solo players as well as groups.
How can you participate in the beta? Anyone who owns a version of Red Dead Redemption 2 can participate in the multiplayer. It is a free gaming experience.
Patch 8.1 gives leveling in World of Warcraft a turbo boost again. We reveal what will change.
Since Patch 7.3.5, which allows the entire world of World of Warcraft to scale, there has been harsh criticism of the leveling system. Blizzard has drastically increased the time required for individual level-ups while significantly reducing the maximum XP bonuses. The developers assured that it was never their goal to stretch the leveling process and promised improvements. Now it is being delivered.
What has changed? In the latest version of Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance on the PTR, the required XP for leveling has been drastically reduced. The biggest change is likely to be experienced by players between levels 40 and 110 – there is a reduction of 25% or more. Here are a few levels as examples, along with the reduction of the necessary XP:
Level 20 to 21: -2.50% required XP
Level 29 to 30: -16.25% required XP
Level 39 to 40: -28.75% required XP
Level 49 to 50: -35% required XP
Level 59 to 60: -40% required XP
Level 69 to 70: -36% required XP
Level 79 to 80: -26% required XP
Level 89 to 90: -25% required XP
Level 99 to 100: -25% required XP
Level 109 to 110: -25% required XP
Between levels 111 and 120, the required XP has hardly been affected – in Kul Tiras and Zandalar, players will level at the previous pace.
What does this mean? In summary, the leveling duration between levels 20 and 120 has been reduced by just over 20%. Anyone considering starting a Twink soon may now have new motivation.
Please note that these figures are still from the PTR and may change again before the release in December.
In Patch 8.1, there are also further improvements for Twinks, such as the easy unlocking of flight paths.
Do you think it’s good that leveling is being accelerated in World of Warcraft? Or was the longer leveling appropriate?
You can view the complete table of all leveling reductions from levels 20 to 110 in our sources.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, pro streamer Ninja still does not have his own skin. However, a rival seems to have an outfit in the game now. This leaves Ninja speechless with indignation.
What’s the deal with Ninja and skins? Streamer Ninja has almost everything: he is swimming in money and has a whole army of followers who watch his Fortnite streams daily.
What the pro still lacks is his own skin in the game. Ninja has wished for this for a long time and thinks he somehow has a right to it; after all, he has showcased Fortnite to more than a billion people and has played it from the very beginning, as Ninja himself claims.
Epic has denied him the dream of his own skin so far. Yet, apparently, a completely different streamer has now received his alter ego in the game.
Who is Summit1g? Summit1G is another streamer who previously also played Fortnite and has now switched to Black Ops 4. The new skin features his colors: orange and black.

Ninja upset: The longer Ninja looked at the skin, the more convinced he became that it was indeed the special Summit1G skin. Ninja then lost his composure when he read the description text of the skin.
It says, “Always first to the Top!”, thus “Always first at the top.” Ninja then exclaimed in a slightly shrill voice, “Seriously?!”
Ninja offended, Epic says nothing
What followed was an offended Ninja, who fell silent for a while and probably had to chew on the whole situation.

Do you want to talk about it? DrLupo slowly realized what he had caused and offered comfort: “Do you want to talk about it?” To which Ninja simply replied, “No!”
Summit1G
This is what Epic says: Epic has stated to an eSports site that the skin is not based on Summit1G. The streamer has not specifically promoted the skin. Perhaps it is merely a skin with a mountaineering theme.
“Summit” simply means peak in English. However, the allusions that Ninja and DrLupo want to discover are not entirely baseless.
What do you think? Is Epic trolling Ninja for his entitlement? Or is it all just a really bizarre coincidence?
Recently, EA banned a FIFA pro for using the homophobic word “Fag” in a stream. He thought it was a normal word because he is from London.
What happened? The FIFA pro and European champion Tassal “Tass” Rushan was recently banned by EA. The reason was his unfortunate choice of words in a live stream of FIFA 19 Ultimate Team, where he was opening card packs.
However, luck was not on his side, as player Matías Vecino appeared multiple times in the packs. This frustrated Tass so much that he misspoke and referred to the card as “fucking fag”. However, “Fag” is mostly used in a homophobic context and prompted EA to ban him.
The pro probably didn’t know how bad the word is
Tass is now indefinitely excluded from all FIFA 19 competitions.
This is what the pro says: Tass has now responded with a video to the events. In it, he explains why he expressed himself that way. He apparently didn’t know that “Fag” has a homophobic meaning and thought it was more akin to harmless curses like “Idiot”.
Apparently, the word is quite common in London, at least according to his perspective.
I believe some of you understand me for that reason. Who is from London? Did you know that the word has such a connotation?
He didn’t think much of it. He repeatedly emphasizes that he would never have used such a word otherwise. He also formally apologized to EA, his team Faze, and his fans.
I am not that kind of person. Now that I have found out what it means, I will never say something like that again.

Despite the strong reaction to Diablo: Immortal, Blizzard announces: We are working on many mobile titles simultaneously.
The announcement of Diablo: Immortal was many things, but not exactly the highlight of BlizzCon for fans. For those who do not care about mobile titles, the following news may not be well received: Blizzard still has “many more” mobile titles in production.
When was this said? During BlizzCon, Blizzard also held a press conference where Allen Adham and Wyatt Cheng answered some questions that not only revolved around the new aspects of BlizzCon but also informed about the future of the company.
What was said? Allen Adham, one of Blizzard’s founders, stated at a press conference:
“Regarding Blizzard’s view on mobile gaming, I can say that many of us have moved away from primarily playing on desktop PCs in recent years and instead have spent many hours on mobile devices. And many of our best developers are currently working on new mobile titles for all our IPs.
Some of them are being developed with external partners, such as Diablo: Immortal, many of them are being developed solely in-house. We will release more information about this in the future.”

Considering that Blizzard is currently working on several Diablo games in parallel, as well as on many mobile titles, the second part of Adham’s response makes sense:
“I can also say that we are currently working on more new products simultaneously than ever before in Blizzard’s history. Our future is bright.”
How many titles are exactly in development is unknown. However, if all IPs are to be covered, there would be at least four (Diablo, Warcraft, Overwatch, StarCraft).
What does this mean for PC players? When the news broke, many PC players were worried that Blizzard had forgotten about them and was now only focusing on the mobile market to end up like “one of many” cash grab developers. However, this seems rather unlikely, as:
At least one PC Diablo is in development
WoW is continuously supplied with new content
Warcraft 3 is being “reforged” for PC
What do you think about this news? Is it good that Blizzard is aggressively pushing into the mobile market? Or should they care more about their PC fans?
In Pokémon GO, Stardust is the most important resource. To collect it effectively, there are some tips. We will show you which ones.
Nothing works in Pokémon GO without Stardust. That’s why it’s important to know how to collect it effectively.
When Community Day starts on November 10th, players can look forward to possibly six times the amount of Stardust. To take advantage of such events effectively, some things need to be considered.
Simple tricks: There are simple tricks to quickly collect Stardust. We will show you the most important ones.
Tips for Collecting Stardust
If you consider the following tips, you can collect over 100,000 Stardust and more in just a few hours.
1. Use a Star Piece
This is probably the easiest tip. By using Star Pieces, you get 1.5 times as much Stardust. If you are on the go and know that you can catch Pokémon for at least half an hour, you should use a Star Piece.
Frequently on Sale: Star Pieces are often included in boxes that you can buy in the shop during events. Take advantage of this, as you can save a lot of coins there.
2. Take Advantage of Events
You can collect Stardust effectively especially during Stardust events. When such an event is ongoing, you should especially hunt for Pokémon.
Bonus on Community Day: During Community Days, you often receive more Stardust when catching Pokémon. This was the case, for example, during the Eevee Community Day.
3. Catch Pokémon
You primarily get Stardust by catching Pokémon. If a Stardust event is running, you should focus more on catching Pokémon instead of doing Raids or Gym battles.
Don’t Catch All Pokémon: Even though you should focus on catching Pokémon, it’s still not good to catch all Pokémon. Monsters like Sunkern or Volbeat are real ball-eaters. Save your balls for these monsters and throw them at Pokémon that stay in the ball more easily.
4. Utilize Clusterspawns
Clusterspawns are places where many Pokémon gather. Walk around your city and remember these places. Connect them into a good route and walk this route repeatedly.
Avoid Unknown Areas: If you are hunting for Stardust, avoid walking in unknown areas. You don’t know the spawn points and could walk through streets where no Pokémon appear.
5. Keep Moving
One of the most important things when hunting for Stardust is movement. If you catch a lot of Pokémon in one spot and hardly turn any PokéStops, you risk running out of balls. Without balls, you can’t catch new Pokémon.
Movement Hatches Eggs: Another advantage of moving a lot is that you hatch eggs. Eggs give you additional Stardust, and especially with a Star Piece, not an insignificant amount. A 10 km egg without a Star Piece gives 3200 dust.
If you have the choice between a Sunkern or a Pidgeotto, definitely take the Pidgeotto! Evolutions like Pidgeotto give significantly more Stardust than the first stages.
Final Evolutions are even more worthwhile: If you encounter a Pokémon at the third evolutionary stage like Pidgeot, you get 500 Stardust without a Star Piece.
7. Save Quest Rewards
Another trick is to save your quest rewards. If you completed a field research and encounter a Pokémon, run away. This Pokémon will be “stored” in your field research and can be claimed at a later time. Claim the reward when you have no other Pokémon to catch or when you’re using a Star Piece.
Especially Useful During Events: If there’s actually six times the amount of Stardust on Community Day, you should save your rewards until then. If you don’t have a Pokémon to catch nearby, claim your rewards and cash in.
8. Use the Catch Trick
The last trick is probably the most difficult and requires some practice. However, it is also the most effective. With a trick, you can catch Pokémon faster and thus collect significantly more Stardust on average.
The video visually explains the trick. Practice the trick a bit before starting Community Day on Saturday.

With one of your left fingers, swipe from the position of the PokéBall selection (PokéBall symbol in the lower right corner) from right to left. Keep your finger on the screen. The PokéBall symbol will only move slightly and won’t open the selection.
With your right hand, throw the Pokéball as usual at the Pokémon
If you hit the Pokémon, let go of the screen with both hands
Before the Pokémon can escape or stay in, click “run away” in the top left corner
Click on the same Pokémon again
If an error message appears at the top of the screen, you have caught the Pokémon or it fled; if you can catch the Pokémon again, it has escaped
Practice makes perfect: With a little practice, you will master the trick quickly and can catch many more Pokémon than usual.
If you consider these tricks, you will collect Stardust significantly more effectively and quickly. Use these tricks on the weekend of Community Day and you will see how fast the collecting goes.
How do you quickly collect Stardust? Do you have any other tips?
Are you tired of running around as a cowboy in Red Dead Redemption 2? Then get this Viking set!
The world of Red Dead Redemption 2 offers you many ways to change your appearance. Hunt wild animals like the legendary bear for special hats, or buy other interesting clothing from the trapper.
If you prefer something more extravagant, grab the Viking axe, the Viking helmet, and, for special grooming, the Viking comb.
Viking Set in RDR 2 – Location
Many fans are looking for a helmet, an axe, and a comb with a Viking theme in Red Dead Redemption 2. They are said to be hidden on the huge map.
Where should you search? To find the items, you need to locate a settlement called Old Tomb. It is slightly northwest of Annesburg. You just need to cross the river once. If you are not nearby, simply use fast travel.
Then head down into this tomb to loot the Viking axe. It is located at the altar in the center. The Viking axe is a melee weapon that can also be thrown.
In the side rooms, you will find a few skulls. Since one of them probably doesn’t need its helmet anymore, you can loot it from one of the skulls.
Where is the comb? Finding the ancient Viking comb is trickier. It is hidden behind the skulls. Just pull out your gun and shoot at the skulls, then the comb should quickly come into your hands.
A new in-game sequence from World of Warcraft reveals that the leaders of the Alliance are not entirely in agreement. We reveal what happens.
Last night, a new version of Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance was deployed to the PTR of World of Warcraft. In addition to the cool mount from Lady Jaina Proudmoore, there was also a new, short in-game sequence to view. This sequence involves High King Anduin Wrynn and Tyrande Whisperwind.
Spoiler Alert: If you don’t want to know details about Patch 8.1, you should not continue reading.
“My people need action, not excuses”
Anduin asks for patience: The short sequence is shown as an intro video for the Battle for Darkshore and takes place in the castle of Stormwind. Anduin and Tyrande discuss the course of the war.
The player arrives just as Anduin refuses to send the Alliance troops to Darkshore. He wishes it were different, but with the war in Zandalar and Arathi, the troops are already scattered. Furthermore, there have been significant casualties, and he asks the High Priestess of the Night Elves for a bit more patience.
Tyrande doesn’t want to wait: Tyrande has little faith in Anduin’s words. She and her people do not want to “waste away in Stormwind while the Forsaken desecrate their lands.” Even at Anduin’s renewed plea for a bit more patience, the leader of the Night Elves stands firm and ultimately makes the decision:
“If the Alliance does not want to help us, then we will do it alone.”

It is somewhat surprising that Prophet Velen simply stands there silently and does not comment on the topic. After all, the Exodar, the capital of the Draenei, is near Darkshore and the former Teldrassil …
The War of Battle for Azeroth demands not only sacrifices from the individual races but also erodes the trust among the allies. Whether this will have an even greater impact on the unity of the Alliance remains to be seen.
The world of Fallout 76 offers many legendary creatures surrounded by tales and stories. One of them is Mothman, the mothman, who seems to be quite a cool guy in Fallout.
Selfies with Mothman: Some players have already encountered the legendary Mothman in Appalachia. The creature was supposed to be a difficult enemy to defeat. However, players have stood next to him and taken selfies.
A “harmless” creature: The Mothman is a creature about the size of a human, resembling a moth, with arms, angel-like wings, and glowing red eyes. Black mist swirls around him on the ground.
Due to its eerie appearance, Mothman is likely attacked by most players from a safe distance when they encounter him in the vast world. However, some players have approached him peacefully.
The mothman did not attack these players. The players have taken pictures with him, and some Reddit users even report that he followed them for quite a while to keep them company.
There is even another version of Mothman, the “Wise Mothman” with violet eyes, who grants players a one-hour XP buff when they approach him peacefully. According to our reader Gooze, he appears at an event at the lighthouse near Vault 76.
A bug in the AI? Mothman’s behavior seems to be a bug. His name display is red, indicating he is hostile. He should presumably attack and not just hang around with players.
Players report that Mothman followed them and sometimes just stopped until they picked him up again. This suggests that his behavior allows him to follow players up to a certain distance. Only the attack command seems to be missing.
It also fits that he sometimes just runs away when attacked. This happened to the YouTuber William Friet. He attacked a Mothman, who then vanished with a puff of smoke into the sky.
It is quite possible that the fun with Mothman will only be for a short time and that this bug will soon be fixed.

Who is the Mothman? Bethesda has utilized many tales and legends from West Virginia for the world of Fallout 76. Mothman is one of them. According to Wikipedia, the mothman is a “modern mythological creature whose appearance is said to herald misfortune.”
It is described by “eyewitnesses” as a half-human figure, similar to a black angel with red eyes. He was first sighted in the small town of Point Pleasant in West Virginia.

We had the opportunity to talk with the developer Neowiz about the MMORPG Bless Online and also about the release of the new update Ruins of Shaqqara. The Bless developers say that Bless has been doing better since the MMORPG became free-to-play. Here are the plans for the future.
The studio team answered our questions together. The focus was mainly on the new update, but also on how Bless is to be further improved.
Bless is to be continuously improved
Mein-MMO: What measures do you want to take to keep the number of players in Bless Online stable, even after the release of the F2P version?
Neowiz: Since the transition to Free2Play, the servers are full of life. To maintain this status, we are preparing improvements and content updates.
We are working on both large and small updates, including of course the update from November 7. Later, we will add “Rift of Space and Time” Stage 3, which will be released on Steam for the first time.
Mein-MMO: Even after the release of Bless, people are complaining about performance issues. Is there still room for improvement, or have the capabilities of the game engine been exhausted?
Neowiz: We take optimization and stability issues very seriously. That is why we are constantly working on improvements.

Mein-MMO: Bless has cost about 61 million dollars. You have already stated that Bless is a passion project. However, Neowiz also needs to make money. Is Bless profitable?
Neowiz: Thank you for reminding us that Bless is a passion project. To continue our passion, I think we ultimately have to maintain a certain level of service and development.
To generate stable revenues, we plan to release various attractive sales products that can be purchased by our players. However, there will be no pay-to-win items.
Neowiz: Since the switch to Free2Play, many users have joined Bless Online and revitalized the atmosphere. We consider it important to maintain this interest, and we are grateful for it.
New content and improvements are balanced
Mein-MMO: Are there plans on when the remaining two classes, Mystic and Wizard, will make their way to Bless?
Neowiz: Regarding the Mystic, we will announce more detailed plans for the release later. We want to ensure that it has been sufficiently redesigned to fit into the combat system we introduced with the Steam release in Bless.
Mein-MMO: What content can fans expect from the new update?
Neowiz: In the level-50 update, which will be released today, November 7, players can explore new areas and experience additional quests. They will fight new monsters and discover hidden stories.
This includes new quests in the main story, improved royal quests, and a new dungeon, the Zeeto Laboratory.
Mein-MMO: How will the balance between adding new content and fixing/improving things in Bless be handled in the upcoming updates?
Neowiz: The new update will bring more content such as raising the level cap to 50 and a new dungeon, along with substantial and minor improvements to the current content.
These include the Royal Quests, the guild system, dungeon points, balance adjustments of rewards from the Siege of Castra, and the enhancement system. This update and future updates will contain both new content as well as improvements to existing content.
There are even more plans for Bless updates
Mein-MMO: What new adventures, enemies, and items can players expect in the new adventure zone?
Neowiz: Players will have access to a new dungeon called “Zeeto’s Laboratory,” where they can acquire new heroic gear. Players will also encounter mechanical monsters and basilisks, as well as embark on quests to seek help for their factions.
But there’s even more in the level-50 expansion. There are a lot of new features in this update, and players must explore everything themselves!
Mein-MMO: How often do you want to release new content for Bless?
Neowiz: Since the official release, we have been addressing player trends and planning updates accordingly, creating detailed plans.
After the update on November 7, we plan to add a new dungeon and a new stage for “Rift of Space and Time” before the end of the year.
The new Phase 3 for “Rift of Space and Time” will be released on Steam for the first time, as it has never been published before. Not even in Korea, Japan, or Russia.
Mein-MMO: Thank you for the interview!
Do you play Bless? Then there’s something to win here!
Some Black Desert players have been playing on private servers. However, Pearl Abyss wants to put a stop to these servers – just like World of Warcraft once did. Players are outraged.
Pearl Abyss is now banning players who use private servers from accessing the Black Desert client. A new authentication system is supposed to bring these players back to the official servers. However, this announcement has been met with little love from fans.
Black Desert is against private servers
What happened? Some Black Desert players do not play on the official servers of Kakao Games or Pearl Abyss, but on privately created servers.
To counter this, Kakao Games is introducing a client authentication system that is supposed to restrict access to the private servers.
Furthermore, Pearl Abyss wants to actively combat private servers and enforce their closure. Kakao Games is urging players to report these servers.
Are players affected? According to a game master from Black Desert, players on official servers will not have any problems resulting from the implementation of the system. Problems would only arise if the operating system’s time was manually changed. In that case, players should synchronize their time and date to the current time.
On private servers (P-Servers), players can play a modified version of the MMORPG. A P-Server increases, among other things, the drop rate of monsters and the experience points gained.
Why do players play on P-Servers? On privately operated servers, players can usually progress much faster in the game than on official servers. Particularly in online games, players often have to grind longer to reach the maximum level or to level crafting skills.
Especially in Black Desert, the grind is omnipresent. Opportunities to reach goals faster save a lot of time. Additionally, it is a PvP MMO where the right equipment is important to compete against other players.
Black Desert must face player criticism
The actions of Kakao Games are criticized by players. They accuse the developer of not addressing the problems of the game, which is why many players turned to private servers.
If Pearl Abyss were to address some of the fans’ criticisms, players would not play on private servers. The operators of the private servers would allegedly often solve game issues faster than the developer.
This is being criticized:
Black Desert is slowly drifting towards Pay-To-Win. One needs at least €100 per account to play the game comfortably.
Content from South Korea arrives in Europe and America much too late. Players are currently waiting for the new zone Drieghan.
The controversial PvP balance changes of the game do not apply on private servers.
However, there are also players who speak against the criticism from players. Of course, it would be beneficial if the experience points gained were increased. However, the real problem lies more in the structure of the game. To solve the EXP issue, only the advantages of grind spots would need to be modified.
In Destiny 2, the second step of the mysterious festival quest is now live. This lets Guardians play detective in the European Dead Zone and contains a small Easter egg that hints at the fate of the missing Cryptarch.
After most Guardians had to wait a whole week for the next quest step, the murder quest continues with the weekly reset on October 6. In the end, there is at least a nice Easter egg that many players might have overlooked.
The Mysterious Festival Quest in Destiny 2 – Here’s How to Proceed with Step 2
What is it about? As part of the recent Halloween event, Festival of the Lost, a mysterious quest began to conclude the celebrations.
This task lets Guardians play detective and clarify a possible murder case surrounding the former Reef Cryptarch Master Ives. The quest spans several weeks. Now the second step is live.
How to Get the 2nd Quest Step: If you haven’t started the quest yet, you should talk to Amanda Holliday. You also need to have completed the first step before the quest continues with the second step.
If you have successfully completed the first step, you don’t need to do much for the second step. It will be given automatically; the quest updates without any action on your part. Just check your bounties in your inventory.
What you need to do in Step 2: First, the second part of the quest sends you to the following three Lost Sectors – all located in the Trostland area of the EDZ:
These are the 3 Lost Sectors in the Trostland area
There, you are supposed to look for more clues about Master Ives’ whereabouts. What initially sounds like exciting detective work quickly turns out to be simply completing the Lost Sectors. You just need to run through the respective sectors, take out the boss at the end, and loot the chest. This step doesn’t require more.
However, you won’t find anything in these three Lost Sectors, and so the quest also sends you to the Lost Sector Whisperfall in the outskirts area – also in the EDZ.
The Lost Sector Whisperfall in the outskirts area
If you also successfully completed this sector, you are done with the second step and will need to be patient again – most likely until the next weekly reset on November 13.
Did you notice this Easter egg? In the Lost Sector Whisperfall, observant Guardians stumbled upon a nice Easter egg that hints at the probable fate of Master Ives. However, this little clue has been overlooked by numerous Guardians.
Once you complete the sector, the quest progress is updated. It mentions among other things his tattered robe from the Cryptarch. And you can actually find this robe if you look around a bit in the last room where the boss fight takes place.
The Easter egg: The tattered robe of Master Ives (Source: Houndish on YouTube)
However, this find raises some serious concerns. The robe is displayed like a trophy and has a large bullet hole in the heart area. It seems that things are really not looking good for the missing Cryptarch.
Moreover, the robe features the symbol of the Fallen faction House of Dusk, suggesting that the Fallen are behind the disappearance of the former Reef Cryptarch.
This makes the already suspected return to the Cosmodrome within the quest increasingly likely, as the Fallen on Earth were primarily active there. Whether the exotic machine gun Thunderlord will await Guardians there, we will probably find out at the latest after the next weekly reset. Because, as Bungie has officially confirmed, the quest spans three weeks.
The Cosmodrome: This is where the journey of many Guardians began
What fans think about the second quest step: The fans are almost unanimously disappointed by the second quest step. Now even the last hope of many Guardians that the quest could gain momentum has been shattered.
Even if the last step should actually lead to the Cosmodrome, most fans don’t expect any exciting storyline, possible twist, or special staging of the final step anymore. The anticipation of a potential return to the place where Guardians’ journey began has taken a noticeable hit.
Many simply envisioned more when Bungie boldly announced the quest as a sort of concluding highlight of the Halloween celebrations. However, some fans noted positively that the second quest step at least directly related to the fate of the missing Cryptarch through the Easter egg. Even if it wasn’t particularly creatively designed, just like the first step.
What do you think of the second step and the quest so far? Do you believe it will become exciting in the final part of the quest?

The TOTW 8 (Team of the Week 8) for FUT in FIFA 19 is known. Here you can find all Team of the Week players with Inform cards in overview.
The TOTW time in FUT 19: The Team of the Week 8 is available from Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at 4 PM. As every week, you can draw the special cards of the TDW players from packs.
This is the Team of the Week: Players who showed particularly outstanding performances in real football over the past week receive a special card in FIFA 19. This card has improved stats and is more valuable than the standard card.
ST: Richarlison de Andrade – Everton (ENG1) – Brazil
RF: Gaëtan Laborde – Montpellier HSC (FRA1) – France
CM: Víctor Guzmán – Pachuca (MEX) – Mexico
RM: Salim Khelifi – FC Zürich (SWI1) – Switzerland
LM: Craig Goodwin – Adelaide United (AAL) – Australia
CM: Mario Leitgeb – Wolfsberger AC (AU1) – Austria
ST: Manuel Schäffler – SV Wehen Wiesbaden (GER3) – Germany
Here are the 3 best Ultimate Team players of the week
Top Player 1: Dries Mertens. Mertens plays in Serie A and is a very fast, technically strong striker. In the match against Empoli, he contributed a hat-trick to the 5-1 home victory.
How the Mertens card becomes interesting for you: For a center forward, Mertens may not have the strongest physique, but he boasts 4-star skills and 4-star for his weak foot. With 90 pace, 91 dribbling, and 88 finishing, he is a dangerous player. With 82 passing, he can also provide good assists.
Top Player 2: Felipe Anderson. Anderson plays in the Premier League and is a fast winger.
How the Anderson card becomes interesting for you: Anderson has 5-star skills. He is incredibly fast and Brazilian. Along with his technical skills, with 84 shooting and 83 passing, he provides a very good overall package for the wing.
Top Player 3: Ben Chilwell. Chilwell is left back at Leicester City.
How the Chilwell card becomes interesting for you: While he may not have the best stats, there aren’t many good alternatives for the left back position in the Premier League. Moreover, he is likely to be relatively cheap. With the right chemistry style, he might at least provide a good alternative defensively.
TOTW Highlights from a German perspective
These Bundesliga players are included:
Timo Werner: The national striker scored twice in the last game; Leipzig is currently in 4th place. It was Werner’s second consecutive brace.
Thorgan Hazard: In the match against Düsseldorf, the Belgian also delivered a brace.
To draw one of the popular players, it’s worth taking a look at the best packs of the game – here the chance of drawing a TOTW player is higher. If you like any of the defensive players, perhaps these tips can help you:
Fortnite: Battle Royale has received some changes in Update 6.22. One of them made the storm deadlier. This is due to the annoying tactic of Heal-Offs, which has been particularly intensified until recently.
What is meant by “Heal-Off”? This term refers to a tactic in Fortnite, where the last surviving players hide in the storm and supply themselves with healing items for as long as possible, hoping that the storm will take out all other players.
This tactic is effective, but not very exciting, especially when professionals do this in highly lucrative tournaments. Before Patch 6.22, the problem was particularly pronounced, as the storm damage was only 8 points per second (previously 10).
Players heal for minutes instead of fighting:A video can be seen on Reddit, where a player survives for over 2 minutes and has enough Med Kits and bandages to extend it even longer.
Moreover, he is not even in the final storm zone.
Especially popular among professionals: The video comes from a “scrimmage”, which is a practice game among professionals. Even in the “Grand Finale” tournament, the last minutes of many games ended this way.
The storm is stronger again, but Heal-Offs are still possible
What has Epic done? To curb the annoying Heal-Off battles, Epic has raised the storm damage again from 8 to 10 in the latest update 6.22.
This means that such stunts as in the Reddit post can no longer be done easily. The player would have barely survived with a damage value of 10 per second, before he could use the Med Kit.
Are Heal-Offs now history? Not quite. Because anyone who uses an additional healing effect, such as the cozy campfire, along with the Med Kit can continue to sustain themselves almost endlessly. But at least now you can no longer just rely on Med Kits alone to carry out these annoying Heal-Offs.
What do you think about it? Are Heal-Offs part of the Fortnite meta gameplay and therefore a fixed part of the game? Or is it an annoying tactic that Epic should further restrict?
The new Poké Ball Plus has a special feature that makes playing Pokémon GO significantly easier. The ball automatically spins PokéStops. That sounds really useful for many trainers.
If you don’t want to spin PokéStops on your phone, the new Poké Ball Plus might be a good option for you. Because, as the official website of Pokémon Japan states, the ball automatically takes care of spinning stops.
How does the gadget work?
If a Pokémon is in the ball, it automatically spins stops
What kind of ball is this? The Poké Ball Plus is a gadget that appeared alongside the console games Pokémon Let’s GO Pikachu/Evoli. This gadget can be used as a controller for playing Let’s GO Pikachu/Evoli on the Nintendo Switch.
You can also purchase it separately and use it for Pokémon GO.
In combination with Pokémon GO, the ball functions similarly to the GO Plus. It vibrates when Pokémon are nearby and tracks the distance you cover.
This is how the automatic spinning of PokéStops works: As hypeable reports, the ball has another feature that was not previously known. If you load a Pokémon from Pokémon Let’s GO into the ball, the automatic spinning function is activated.
If you visit a PokéStop with a Pokémon in the Poké Ball Plus, you don’t have to spin it manually. The ball does that automatically.
And what if the ball is empty? If you don’t have a Pokémon in the ball, it only vibrates when visiting a stop. You then need to press the button to spin the stop. Just like with GO Plus.
What the fans say about the Poké Ball Plus
On Reddit, user kokong7 writes, “There’s a lot of negativity about this device. I’m really looking forward to it, especially with this feature.”
Twitter user CattyMintgum writes, “Oh man, pay-to-win, right? No, seriously, that sounds useful. I miss 10,000 PokéStops a day.”
Overall, players are excited about this feature, which will greatly simplify playing Pokémon GO. Now you’ll miss no more PokéStops. The downside is that the Poké Ball Plus is larger than a GO Plus.
Comparison to the Pokémon GO Plus
Similar features: The functions of both gadgets are almost the same. Both devices ensure that you don’t have to hold your smartphone in your hand while playing. Catching Pokémon and spinning stops are done with a simple press of a button.
The automatic spinning of PokéStops is something that the Pokémon GO Plus does not support out of the box. So there is a significant advantage with the Poké Ball Plus.

Many MMOs, online games, and MMORPGs offer you a selection of playable races. But which ones are particularly popular, and which ones are rarely well received? Participate in our survey and find out!
Races in games: In many games that allow character generation, you can choose not only hair color, skin color, and gender but also the race of your hero. Especially in the fantasy genre, a solid selection of races is almost mandatory.
But which race is particularly favored? In the following paragraphs, we will introduce you to a few playable, non-human races that appear in one form or another in many games.
Bold and Agile – The Elves
Pretty much every fantasy game offers elves as a playable race. These are almost exclusively graceful beings with pointed ears. Elves are often particularly well suited for classes that use magic or aim for a swift fighting style.
The selection of elven races is, as mentioned, vast. Here are a few prominent examples:
The Elder Scrolls Online features three completely different elven races: the arrogant High Elves, the cynical Dark Elves, and the cannibalistic Wood Elves.
In World of Warcraft, you can choose between the nature-loving Night Elves and the power-hungry Blood Elves. Additionally, with the new expansion Battle for Azeroth, other variations like the Void Elves are added.
In the action MMORPG TERA, graceful elves can also be found.
The MMORPG Guild Wars 2 does not offer classic elves, but the plant-like Sylvari come close.
The Walking Cliché – The Dwarves
Almost as popular as elves are dwarves. Dwarves are also one of the most clichéd races in fantasy.
Where you have at least the variations “arrogant and power-hungry” and “harmonious tree-huggers” with elves, dwarves are almost always short, bearded fellows who drink beer, are perpetually grumpy, speak with a Scottish accent, and deal and take a lot of hits.
Prominent examples of dwarves can be found in the following games:
In WoW, there are classic dwarves who enjoy wielding firearms.
In Neverwinter, the dwarves are exactly what you expect from them.
Surprisingly often, curious beast races appear in the race selection of games. There are three main groups:
Cat-like beings
Wolf-like creatures
Lizard-like beings
Beast races are especially prominently represented in the following games:
The Elder Scrolls Online has lizard-like Argonians and cat-like Khajiit. Both races are integrated into the game with extensive lore and background.
WoW also has a large amount of beast races. Among them are the humanoid cattle of the Tauren race, the Worgen werewolves, and the Pandaren as the panda race. Additionally, there are other beast races that cannot (yet) be played, such as the fox-like Vulpera or the snake-like Sethrak.
The dragonborn in Neverwinter count as lizard people.
Particularly original beast races are found in Guild Wars 2. There, the Charr are a race of gigantic, horned big cats.
Particularly cute beast characters are the Miqo’te from Final Fantasy 14.
Small and Cute – The “Cute Races”
Under this umbrella term, we have summarized the multitude of races that are small and cute. These races are usually known as Halflings or Gnomes, but there are also more exotic versions.
Here you will find a selection of games in which such “gnome races” appear:
World of Warcraft features the classic gnomes, a small race of cute tinkerers.
Halflings, also known as Hobbits, can be found in The Lord of the Rings Online.
Halflings are also present in the D&D MMO Neverwinter.
Blade & Soul offers the small Lynn race, beings with animal tails and ears.
In Bless, you can also play small fur-covered beings.
In TERA, the Elin are a tiny race of small gnome girls.
The Asura in Guild Wars 2 may be somewhat creepy at times but are usually cute.
Legendary cute are the adorable Lalafells from Final Fantasy 14.
Horns and Dark Appearance – The “Demonic” Races
This category is generally hard to describe. By “demonic” races, we mean all beings that somehow look demonic. These races often have horns. Sometimes horse hooves, tails, and bat wings are also involved.
Examples of such races include:
The Castanic from TERA have large horns and also originate from demonic beings.
In Neverwinter, the horned Tieflings are also descendants of devilish powers as a playable race.
Far from being demonic are the Draenei from World of Warcraft. However, they meet almost all visual criteria of a demon creature with their horns, horse hooves, and tails, but worship the Light.
The gloomy Asmodians from Aion look like dark, fallen angels with their red eyes and dark wings.
Survey – Which Fantasy Race is the Most Popular?
Now that it’s clear what is meant by each term, we want to know which races you like to play in MMOs. Just participate in the survey embedded below.
But beware: You only have one vote, so choose wisely.
Depending on how the survey turns out, we will also provide another article listing games where your favorite race shines.

The Raid Battle for Dazar’Alor brings many items with strange effects to the World of Warcraft. We present some of them.
In World of Warcraft, there have been items with passive effects for a long time that did not directly relate to combat. In Battle for Azeroth, some of these effects were brought back, such as a ring that increases swimming speed. This trend continues in the new raid Battle for Dazar’Alor.
Blizzard has implemented many items in Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance that have fun or powerful passive bonuses. Some of these are only useful in certain fights or at specific locations, while others have more frequent utility.
What bonuses are there? The colleagues at wowhead have found the following passive effects so far:
Twin-Pipe Buster Cannon (Ranged Weapon): Your attacks have a chance to fire an additional shot for 3552 Nature damage.
High Tinkerer’s Cape (Cloak): Increases your Kul Tiras or Zandalar Engineering skill by 5.
Mech-Jockey Grips (Leather Gloves): You move 20% faster when sitting in a mount that was crafted by an engineer. This effect does not stack with other effects.
Crest of Pa’ku (Trinket): Using it teleports you to the next Totem of Pa’ku.
Fogbreaker, Light of the Sea (Off-hand): Reduces the effect of the Howling Winds in the fight against Lady Jaina Proudmoore.
Boots of the Gilded Path (Chain Boots): When you loot gold, your movement speed is increased by 30% for 6 seconds.
There are also two small “minisets” that mean a clear DPS gain:
Lord Admiral’s Signet (Ring) and Daelin Proudmoore’s Saber (Sword): Your automatic attacks are drenched with the Ring of the Sea and deal an additional 220 Frost damage and slows the target by 10% for 4 seconds.
Seal of the Zandalari Empire (Ring) and Loa Exultant’s Shroud (Cloak): Your primary stat is increased by 150 as long as you are in Zuldazar.
Clear “Hunter Item”: At least the “Boots of the Gilded Path” are already considered a clear “Hunter item” in the community. Hunters have the (rather jokingly meant) reputation of looting all items that come their way if they can wear them.
Shoes that allow you to get to the next loot location even faster after looting would therefore be perfect for them.
The reactions from the community are amused and expectant. Some players already say “More exciting than Azerite abilities”, while other fans simply hope that Blizzard introduces more interesting passive effects on items again.
What do you think of such effects on items? Do they belong to the classic Warcraft flair and should occur more frequently? Or are such bonuses annoying?
In Fallout 76, since the last update of the beta, there is a limit on FPS and field of view on PC. This brings some advantages, but also annoys many players.
At most 63 FPS: Bethesda has limited the maximum possible FPS (Frames Per Second) and field of view in Fallout 76. According to some reddit posts, players now reach a maximum of 63 FPS in the main menu, even if technically more is possible for them.
Limit meant to solve problems but is not well received
FPS cap can prevent speed hack: The new FPS limit appeared along with the last major beta update. The limit is supposed to address one of the bigger issues.
In Fallout 76, the game speed scales with the FPS of the game. Basically, this means: Those with higher FPS move faster. The entire physics of the game is accelerated, just like in Fallout 4.

In the beta, players therefore tinkered with the game files or simply looked down at the ground to move faster. This allowed for easily achievable FPS values of well over 100, and players moved as if through a speed hack.
Currently, the FPS limit reportedly only applies to the main menu. There is no evidence yet that the FPS limit applies in-game as well. Some players even report being able to play with over 100 FPS in the last beta on November 6.
However, it is possible that the change will be adopted or has already been adopted. If it is in the game, the speed hack will no longer work.
The field of view is restricted: Another change is the adjustment of the field of view (English: Field of View, “FOV”). The field of view in the Fallout 76 beta is now fixed and only changes dynamically with the resolution.
Players using an ultrawide monitor have a natively larger field of view. An ultrawide ratio (typically 21:9) is not supported by Fallout in the options. It must be set in the game files.
However, there is no option to adjust the field of view in Fallout 76. It is one of the options that is most requested. It is possible that Bethesda will introduce it by the release on November 14.
Fans are not okay with the approach: The changes are not well received in the community. Players agree that the “speed hack” was not good and should disappear from the game. However, they are disturbed by the implementation.
Players using a 120Hz or 144Hz monitor would no longer enjoy their best possible quality. They would like a solution to the speed problem without having to sacrifice FPS.
Some refer to the solution as “lazy” if it is also implemented in the actual game. Other players, who are also involved in development, point out, however, that it could be a technical decision:
How can they [Bethesda] guarantee that everything over 60 Hz works if that is their internal goal? I know that a lot of their physics were broken in earlier games when played over 60 Hz.
What do you think about the change? How could the problem be solved better? Discuss with other fans in our Fallout group and visit us on Facebook for more information.
