In Week 3 of Season 7 in Fortnite: Battle Royale, you should ring doorbells again. Which doors are relevant and where you can find them, you will learn here.
This is the doorbell task from Week 3: In the 3rd week of Season 7, a familiar task from Season 6 returns. Back then, you also had to ring the doors of houses where opponents were present.
In Week 3 of Season 7 in Fortnite, you have to do it again. But with a few changes. Where the task is usable, you will find out here.
The Locations of the Doorbells
How to find the doorbells: Doorbells are not at every door. We have included a map here showing where they are located.
Where do I find the most doorbells? As shown on the map, most doorbells are in Pleasant Park. Almost all doors there have a doorbell. But you will also find many doorbells in Salty Springs, Retail Row, and Paradise Palms. The villas of Snobby Shores are also inviting for ringing.
Better not look in these places: In the new ice biome in the southwest, doorbells are rarely found. There are only a few in the outskirts. Additionally, the location Greasy Grove has been swallowed by ice. There used to be a lot of doorbells there in Season 6. So better look elsewhere.
How to complete the task? Unlike in Season 6, this time you only have to ring the doorbell at the door. Opponents do not need to be in the house. You must ring the doorbell at two different named locations. So you need to visit one place and make it to another without dying along the way.
Ideally, you land in Retail Row and then go to Salty Springs. The two places are close to each other and both have many doorbells.
If you know of any other doorbell locations, especially if they are found in the ice, let us know in the comments. We will update this article later with more current maps and locations.
Since today, the tempered Kulve Taroth is active in Monster Hunter World. However, the monster is only available on PS4 and Xbox One for a limited time.
The Elder Dragon Kulve Taroth is available in its tempered form in Monster Hunter World. Players can acquire new relic weapons, and there is also a Gamma armor to craft.
Additionally, there is news about the upcoming events on PC. The tempered Teostra will arrive at the beginning of January.
Tempered Kulve Taroth
What kind of monster is this? The Kulve Taroth belongs to the Elder Dragons and was first introduced in a special siege quest in Monster Hunter World. It is huge and has its own area where you can fight it in several phases. During the battle, players can complete certain tasks to increase their reward level.
The goal is to sever the monster’s horns. If successful, the group receives an extra reward. The higher the reward level after the battle, the better the loot. You can find all the detailed information about the siege quest with us.
This is new: The tempered Kulve Taroth is stronger than the normal version. It deals greater damage and has an additional mode in which it becomes more aggressive and starts to glow in the upper body area.
If it is in this mode and players manage to complete certain tasks, there will be rainbow-colored rewards. From these, new relic weapons can be obtained.
These weapons resemble the previous golden relic weapons but are darker and more brass-colored. The special feature of these weapons is that they come with a skill bonus.
This is what the new relic weapons look like
Depending on the weapon type, these new weapons either have a bonus on element crits or on status crits. Additionally, there is a Taroth Gamma armor to craft. For this, you will need KT Kaiserchunks, which can be obtained by completing the siege quest.
How long do you have to farm? You can hunt the tempered Kulve Taroth until January 4. However, this will not be the last chance to obtain the weapons. The monster will return at regular intervals.
Tempered Teostra is on the way, Behemoth starts tomorrow
Some events are also on the way for PC. While the tempered Vaal Hazak is still wreaking havoc, the Behemoth will arrive tomorrow. The huge Behemoth is part of a crossover between Monster Hunter World and Final Fantasy 14.
The next tempered monster is the Teostra. From its tickets, you can craft a Gamma armor and obtain the decorative armor from Dante’s set.
When does the tempered Teostra come? The Elder Dragon starts on January 4 on PC and is expected to last until January 18. You can read the complete event calendar on Capcom’s official site.
In the subreddit of World of Warcraft, a letter from a fan to Blizzard is causing excitement and resonates with the gaming community.
For those who are die-hard fans of World of Warcraft and have been checking the MMORPG’s subreddit in recent weeks, the fun must have long been gone. Aside from some funny memes and cool nostalgia stories, there has been a lot of complaints. The overall mood there is rather negative and according to current trends, it seems that won’t change until at least Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara.
A long letter to Blizzard has now united a large part of the player base in the WoW subreddit. Within half a day, there were more than 23,000 upvotes and nearly a hundred “golden awards” for the post.
Who is the author of the letter? The author of the letter describes himself as a 41-year-old, grumpy and cynical man who works in marketing and hates the business. He finds it absurd that consumers should have “a relationship” with companies; they just want good products. He wouldn’t want a relationship with the company behind Coca-Cola and wouldn’t visit fan forums for Tide Pods either. Furthermore, he would never pay money to attend a large convention for Levi’s.
But with Blizzard, it’s exactly the opposite. He loves the company because he has played their games for 20 years. Even if he wasn’t good at games, like in StarCraft, he still played them because he knew they were simply good games.
The love began with World of Warcraft: He was truly a fan only with World of Warcraft, when he first stepped into Dun Morogh and began his adventure in 2004. He has huge posters of the game in his room, an Arthas statue on his desk, and for him, Blizzard has become like a football team. He always hopes that Blizzard will be successful and achieve its goals. But now that has changed, and for him, it feels like he is cheering for a team that was once the great winner, but can no longer win today.
Blizzard needs more ‘Soon’: For the author of the letter, Blizzard’s fundamental principle “Gameplay first” is what has distinguished Blizzard. Back then, games were repeatedly delayed with a “Soon”. Blizzard took their time to polish the game, and only when it was somewhat perfect, was it released. The “Soon” was always worth the wait, and one knew that in the end, a masterpiece would emerge.
“Filling bars” and “hiding features” is annoying: For the author, World of Warcraft has changed. It’s now only about the “filling of bars” in terms of reputation, island expeditions, PvP, and other features. The reward for this is almost always some kind of loot box. World of Warcraft has transformed into a “fantasy casino” where one RNG mechanic builds upon another. Some content is hidden behind mindless grind or only becomes available over the course of weeks and months to keep subscription numbers constant.
The lukewarm fans have disappeared: He concludes the letter with a clear appeal and states that the “lukewarm fair-weather fans” have since disappeared. “We are all you have left,” he writes, referring to the “hardcore fans” who still play World of Warcraft despite its flaws. He wishes that they would stop designing the game based on analyses and monthly customers. The game should be fun, and that cannot be created by statistics, but can only be judged by the customers themselves.
Much agreement among readers: On Reddit, the post has received extremely high approval with its more than 23,000 upvotes. One comment compares Blizzard to a video by Steve Jobs, in which he explains why, in his view, companies fail. In summary, companies can create a monopoly through good products. But once the monopoly is achieved, only the marketing department can drive growth. For this reason, marketing people get more power, slowly pushing out those who actually create good products, which ultimately leads to the company’s downfall.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuZ6ypueK8M
Not every reader agrees: However, there are also opposing voices in the post. One user notes that it is not Blizzard’s fault, but the own expectations. Blizzard has always made games for the current target audience. Back then, that was “our” generation. But even back then, they sold DLCs, such as StarCraft: Broodwar, which was released in the same year as the original StarCraft. However, back then it had to be bought in a store.
Therefore, it makes sense for Blizzard to create games with loot boxes and similar systems for users who have grown up with them, and not for the “outdated” generation, with whom they cannot earn as much money and who statistically will not have many more years as customers. Blizzard is simply keeping up with the times and if a company does not do that, it is doomed to fail.
You can view the complete letter in English in our sources.
What do you think of this letter and its core messages? Do you agree that Blizzard has changed for the worse? Or is it just the nostalgia goggles at fault and everything is actually the same as always?

The creators of League of Legends and Halo Infinite are now collaborating with Limbitless Solutions. This organization produces prosthetics specifically for children.
Two development studios are partnering with the organization Limbitless Solutions. Riot Games (League of Legends) and 343 Industries (Halo Infinite) recently announced this. As part of this collaboration, prosthetics are being created in the design of Halo and League of Legends.
Comic-style Prosthetics
This is how the collaboration with the LoL developer came about:According to Riot’s official statement, the prosthetics were designed during an event called Thunderdome. The Thunderdome lasts 48 hours and is a kind of hackathon where everyone can participate.
This year, part of Riot focused on the design of prosthetics. They collaborated with Limbitless Solutions via live streaming and managed to do it in a very short time. Additionally, Riot donated $5,330 to the organization, which was collected during the Thunderdome.
In total, there are five different designs that were ultimately implemented:
Odyssey Jinx
Star Guardian
Shurima
Illaoi
Maokai
The image shows Maokai, Star Guardian, Illaoi, and Odyssey Jinx from left to right . The Shurima design is still missing.
This is what the prosthetics in LoL style look like
When will the models be released? According to Riot Games, the prosthetics are supposed to be released in Spring 2019.
Halo Studio is Joining In
Not only Riot Games are working with Limbitless Solutions. The current developers of the Halo series, 343 Industries, are also collaborating with the organization. The announcement mentions a collaboration.
Prosthetics like a Spartan: As part of this collaboration, two models for a prosthetic in the style of the Spartans from Halo have been created. The first model is inspired by the Mark-VI armor of the Master Chief.
A second model is said to be available in various colors.
When will the models be released? At least the first one is expected to be released in early 2019.
Prosthetics from the 3D Printer
Limbitless Solutions is a non-profit organization based in Orlando, Florida, that specializes in prosthetics for children.
What makes the prosthetics special? By being produced using 3D printing, the prosthetics are significantly cheaper than usual. The models are fully functional and can grasp objects.
In week 3 of Season 7 in Fortnite: Battle Royale, you need to slide on zip lines. The task is: Use a zip line in different matches. We show you the locations of the zip lines in Fortnite so you can complete this challenge easily and quickly.
A new week of challenges has started in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It is now the third week in Season 7, providing you with challenges. One of the tasks requires you to use a zip line in 5 different matches. We will show you where you can complete the task on the map.
Where are the zip lines in Fortnite?
Season 7 in Fortnite is particularly cool. There is now a winter biome with frozen lakes and lots of snow. Zip lines are also spread across the entire map.
Where can you find zip lines? The zip lines can be found at Dusty Divot, in the Wailing Woods, Pleasant Park, Snobby Shores, and many other locations. Reddit users Zargothrax and Littlelady90210 have marked the zip lines on the following map.
How to use the zip lines? Simply go to these locations and jump onto the zip line. A magnet will then automatically pull you onto the line. You’ll zip through the air from one place to another.
Why are the lines blue and red? The color differences are meant to help colorblind users see the stripes on the green background. In the game itself, this has no further implications.
How often do you need to slide? The task requires you to slide 5 times. Keep in mind that you need to complete a match naturally for a slide to count. You must either die or win. Simply leaving the round will mean that the sliding will not be counted.
In the Izanami Forge, you now have the opportunity to forge a real top weapon in Destiny 2. We take a closer look at the new firearm and show you why the grind is worth it.
What happened? Since more and more Guardians are unlocking the new Izanami Forge, reports about the new pulse rifle Blast Furnace, which can be earned there, are piling up.
Numerous Guardians rave about this weapon in the highest terms. Many are already sure that it is currently the best pulse rifle in Destiny 2 – for both PvP and PvE. What makes the weapon so special?
The pulse rifle Blast Furnace in detail
How do you get the pulse rifle? To do this, players must first unlock the Izanami Forge – the now third of a total of four forges in the Black Armory.
Then there is a new weapon frame from Ada-1 this week that can be completed there to earn the new pulse rifle. You can see the individual steps in this video from HurleyEffect:

What can the new pulse rifle do? Blast Furnace is a pulse rifle of the “Aggressive Frame” archetype. The weapon is therefore comparable to “Just Imagine“, one of the best pulse rifles in the game so far.
Blast Furnace in direct comparison with Just Imagine (Source: Atzecross Gaming)
The Blast Furnace fires four rounds in a burst, has very good stability, and excellent range. In its archetype, Blast Furnace is statistically the best of the three weapons.
The weapon performs well in both PvP and PvE and boasts one of the best “Time to Kill” values of the game at approximately 0.73 seconds.
What makes the weapon so special? The special feature of Blast Furnace is the fact that this pulse rifle can kill with just two bursts in PvP under normal circumstances.
At optimal range, a critical hit deals 27 points of damage. Therefore, not all projectiles of the two 4-round bursts need to hit critically. 6 critical hits and 2 body shots are already sufficient.
On the other hand, Blast Furnace has very good stats for the important attributes of stability and range. With various rolls and mods, you can further improve the already excellent base weapon, making it outshine almost all its competitors.
These perks and mods make Blast Furnace even better:
Enhanced Rounds: For example, Blast Furnace can roll with the perk “Enhanced Rounds,” which further increases the weapon’s range and even reaches the maximum value, making it the highest of all pulse rifles. This way, you win almost every one-on-one duel in the Crucible at range.
Because with increased range, the weapon’s damage drop-off starts later, making it more effective and deadly over longer distances. Additionally, aim assist remains active on consoles even over long ranges.
Stable Rounds: Moreover, Blast Furnace can also roll with Stable Rounds, further increasing the weapon’s stability, which can be a significant advantage in PvP, especially on consoles. And the weapon already has excellent range.
Rampage: The Rampage perk also pairs very well with Blast Furnace. Once the effect is triggered, it allows you to take down opponents even easier with two bursts. Additionally, if you have the Rampage Spec mod on the weapon, you can further extend the effect’s duration.
Kill Clip: This perk is a classic, but in combination with Outlaw or Feeding Frenzy, Kill Clip makes the 2-burst kills with Blast Furnace even easier.
Zen Moment: Especially in PvP, this perk should not be overlooked for Blast Furnace. Especially on consoles. This allows you to almost turn the pulse rifle into a laser. Combined with the Counterweight stock, you get a weapon that excels in recoil control.
Depending on your preference, other perks and combinations can also be used.
These mods are recommended for Blast Furnace:
With the Counterweight stock, the weapon’s biggest weakness can be restricted and better controlled – the recoil.
With the Targeting Adjuster, it’s a bit easier on consoles to land the necessary crit shots.
And the Rampage Spec extends the duration of the Rampage perk if you prefer to play with this perk.
Blast Furnace in the video analysis: In this video from Houndish, you get a good overview of the qualities of Blast Furnace.

There is still little information about Halo Infinite. In a stream about Halo 5, the developers from 343 Industries revealed a few tidbits about the shooter.
After 343 Industries presented a Halo trailer for the new Slipspace engine at the last E3, Halo fans are waiting for information about the upcoming Halo Infinite. However, the developers only share information partially and in small bits, as was recently the case in a stream about Halo 5. It was confirmed that Halo Infinite can be played again in split-screen mode.
Developers talk about adjustments and split-screen
This is what the developers said: In the social stream, the Studio Head of 343 Industries, Chris Lee, the Tech Director Berger, John Junyszek from the community team, and Community Director Brian Jarrard faced off against each other in Halo 5: Guardians.
While the focus was mainly on Halo 5, the guys couldn’t resist discussing Halo Infinite in between.
The most interesting information is that Halo Infinite will have split-screen again. Playing with up to four participants in split-screen has been successfully tested with the new engine. The predecessor of Halo Infinite, Halo 5: Guardians, was often criticized for the lack of a split-screen mode.
What else came to light? In addition to the split-screen mode, the developers also talked about other features, especially character customization was in the spotlight:
Black undersuits: The artists are aware of the high demand for undersuits and will implement them in Halo Infinite. It was pointed out that “all parts of the armor that are not made of metal” are meant by these undersuits.
Halo Infinite will have a player customization inspired by Halo Reach. The developers stated that many players loved the customization options in Reach and indicated that fans will enjoy the customization in Infinite.
Players who reach Level 152 in Halo 5 will receive a special reward in Infinite.
The Slipspace engine was developed with a focus on PC, and PC players are expected to feel like “first-class citizens.”
The engine was not completely newly created; some elements from previous Halo games were adopted.
Tests are coming: 343 Industries also plans extensive community tests for Halo Infinite, the so-called “Flighting Programs.” In these “flights,” players will be invited to test the shooter together with the developers.
The “flights” are expected to start small, but more testers will be added over time. These programs will also take place on PC, but probably later than on the console.
Recently, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 introduced armor repair for the Blackout mode. However, some aspects of the feature faced criticism from fans. With the latest update, Treyarch is making adjustments. Here are the changes now.
The armor in Blackout mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has always been a major point of contention within the community. This has not changed even after the introduction of armor repair in Blackout. The developers have been diligently collecting feedback from fans and have now accordingly revised the feature.
Changes to Armor Repair in Blackout – What You Need to Know
How does armor repair work? In Blackout, since update 1.09, you can find armor plates. These are a type of resource with which you can repair your armor during a match.
The plates are distributed like other items in the game world or can be looted from dead enemies. You collect them in your inventory. When you use them, it upgrades your armor by 100 points within two seconds – effectively like a health pack for armor.
What was the problem with armor repair? Numerous fans felt that the time required for repairs was too short. In team play, teams could heal far too often and too quickly.
The durability of the various armor levels was also a major concern for many. Level III armor, being the strongest armor class, was still considered too strong by many. Additionally, fans felt that too many plates could be carried in inventory.
What has changed with armor repair: Treyarch addressed these points of criticism:
The durability of Level 2 and Level 3 armors has been reduced to the level of Level 1 armor. All armors now have the same durability.
Armor plates can now be stacked in the inventory up to a maximum of 5. Previously, you could stack 10.
The time to use a plate has been increased from 2 to 3 seconds.
The damage of the Paladin (Sniper) against armor has been slightly increased. This reduces the number of shots needed to eliminate an opponent with Level 3 armor.
With these changes, players should now be able to destroy enemy armor more often. Armor can no longer be repaired as quickly and frequently.
The usage of armor now takes one second longer. That may not sound like much at first, but in a heated battle, that one second is often crucial. The effectiveness of the various armor levels should now be better balanced.
The developers will also closely monitor the latest changes and make further adjustments if necessary.
For Star Trek Online, there’s a bunch of cool pets and a title for the expansion Age of Discovery. If you play on PlayStation 4, you can get keys for these goodies here.
What can you win? Anyone familiar with the series Star Trek Discovery will surely remember the frightening Tardigrade. It is an abnormally large tardigrade from another dimension. Normally, these creatures are microscopic, but in Star Trek Discovery they are huge and live up to their name “tardigrade”.
This creature turns out to be surprisingly versatile in the series and is eventually affectionately called “Ripper” after it has shredded an entire boarding party of Klingons and various crew members.
The version you can win here is not quite as brutal. You get the Tardigrade as a non-combat pet that will loyally follow you in ground missions. In addition, you will receive the title “Tardigrade Biter”.
100 Tardigrade Pets to Win for PC
What are the requirements? To win, you must perform at least three of the actions specified below.
How are the winners determined? Once you have completed the three actions, the contest widget should generate a code for your pet and the title. However, this will only continue until all 100 codes are used. Legal action is excluded. Good luck!
Attention! The codes are only valid for the PS4 version!
How to Redeem Your Code
If you have won a code, you can redeem it as follows:
Create a Sony Network Entertainment account in PSN (or use your existing Sony Entertainment Network account).
Select the PlayStation Store icon on the home page of the PS4 system and download Star Trek Online.
In the PlayStation Store, select “Redeem Codes” at the bottom of the menu.
Enter the code.
If the code is entered correctly, select “Continue” in the dialog box.
Select “Continue” to complete the code redemption.
Your items should now be available to you in the game.
In the MMORPG A:IR – Ascent Infinite Realm, you will also experience adventures in solo dungeons – and these look very interesting.
New screenshots of the air combat MMO A:IR now show some of these dungeons and the creatures awaiting you there.
Pretty Dungeons in A:IR
This is what the dungeons look like: The screenshots showcase some of the dungeons. In these, you will encounter massive monsters, which you must face alone – after all, these are solo dungeons.
What are solo dungeons? In A:IR, you will occasionally venture alone. If you enjoy solo content, you will find several single-player dungeons in the game world that you can enter alone.
Are there group dungeons as well? A:IR is an MMORPG, so group content is the focus. While there are also solo dungeons, you can also try your hand at group dungeons, where teamwork and cooperation are important to defeat the enemies and bosses, overcome challenges, and secure the loot.
https://youtu.be/CWOebkshh9c
How do players react? Fans particularly appreciate the graphics of the game. However, voices are also heard in the official forum questioning the purpose of solo dungeons in an MMORPG. Players wish that the developers focus on group content.
When does A:IR launch? The closed beta of the game, which was originally planned for 2018 here, will no longer take place this year. A new date has not yet been announced. However, this also means that the beta will not start until 2019 and the release will be correspondingly delayed. Nonetheless, it is likely that Ascent: Infinite Realm will officially launch in 2019.
The online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2, Red Dead Online, has received a subtle Christmas update. Festive saloon music awaits you.
In many games, Christmas events are starting right now, providing players with gifts and bonuses. In Red Dead Online, a rather inconspicuous update has been activated.
What’s new? The pianists in the saloons of Red Dead Online have dusted off the old sheet music and are now playing festive songs.
Christmas songs across the map of Red Dead Online
On social networks, players are reporting that they hear Christmas music on the map of Red Dead Online. In the saloons, you can hear songs like Jingle Bells, Silent Night, Deck the Halls, and many more.
Video presents all Christmas songs: The YouTube video by Tony StrongStyle shows an overview of the various songs that are now played in Red Dead Online.

This creates a friendly Christmas atmosphere in many places in the game. While players shoot each other in duels on the streets, they get into the Christmas spirit in the saloon with festive music. This is sure to please this player, who is wandering through Red Dead Online as Santa Claus, distributing gifts.
What do the players say? More and more videos of the Christmas songs in Red Dead Online are appearing on Reddit and Twitter. One user writes, “Even though there’s no snow on the entire map, the pianists have found a way to share their Christmas spirit.”
How players enjoy the songs: Overall, the opinion on this update is positive. User AnadyranTontine writes that he actually hates Christmas music. But these songs in Red Dead Online put a big grin on his face.
Apparently, the Christmas songs are not just played on the piano. Player CheeseForPeas writes: “The banjo guy in Rhodes also played Christmas songs today. Put me in the Christmas spirit for my killing spree.”
Player dominikbalotelli writes that he listened to the pianist for half an hour when he was playing in Valentine. It would have been too good not to listen.
Players wish for snow: It would be a nice addition if it snowed in Red Dead Online. Some players would wish for that. User ryebreadryan writes: “I hope we get snow like in GTA Online. At least in the corresponding states.” In GTA Online, the snow event starts in a few hours.
Others point out that there is currently no winter clothing in Red Dead Online, and they would probably freeze to death. So, the developers would first need to distribute warm coats, so that the snow doesn’t negatively affect players.
After there were gifts in the form of free weapons for some classes in Battlefield 5, Medic players were worried that their class was forgotten. However, there will be something for the Medics at Christmas.
What happened? In Battlefield 5, there are gifts already before Christmas. Since yesterday, players can secure two new weapons. The firearms come from the predecessor Battlefield 1 and are available for all fans.
That’s why Medic players were concerned: Players on Reddit are excited about this gift. The two weapons, the Ribeyerolles 1918 assault rifle and the M1897 shotgun, can only be used by the Assault and Supply classes.
Thus, not all classes benefit from this gift. Especially Medics complained that their class once again does not receive enough love from the developers. In their current arsenal, Medics could really use additional firepower.
This is what the developers say: In a Twitter conversation with a fan, DICE stated that they certainly have not forgotten the Medics. A fan asked there whether there will also be something nice for the Medic at Christmas. After all, other classes have received weapons. However, the Medic is currently left empty-handed.
In response, DICE’s Multiplayer Producer, David Sirland, replied with a brief “Yes :)”
What will the Medics get for Christmas now? This is still unknown. Sirland did not go into further details during the conversation. However, numerous Medic players already have enough of the brief response to look forward eagerly to the gift for their beloved class.
Meanwhile, fans already have their own theories about what they might expect. On one hand, new weapons in the form of SMGs are also expected here. After all, there are still some weapons that were discovered through data mining but are not yet in the game.
However, since Sirland did not explicitly say there would be weapons, fans are also considering new gadgets or even abilities as possibilities. Some even hope for an auto-heal function for nearby allies, as seen in some predecessors of Battlefield 5.
Currently, all of this remains speculation, but the gifts for Medics should not take too long to arrive. Whether there will be something specifically for Recon is still unknown.
Some players are currently leveling their twinks from level 110 to 120 in Turbo. World of Warcraft wants to change that and is considering adjustments.
In World of Warcraft, there are currently many ways to achieve the last levels from 110 to 120. Whether through quests, PvP, island expeditions, or the new faction incursions, there are several ways to quickly gain experience. However, this also leads to the exploitation of certain systems that Blizzard did not consider.
Players offer “island level runs”: Those who already have one or two characters at max level are currently leveling particularly fast through island expeditions. The business with small leveling groups is even booming right now.
Two characters team up, both at level 110, with perfect legendaries and amazing gear, and boost a third player to level 120 on Turbo. Since the two “providers” have activated an XP stop, they themselves do not level up, and their gear is always top-notch for the island expeditions.
Since the enemies on the island scale with the personal level, they can comfortably boost the “customer” from level 110 to 120, often in just a few hours.
Blizzard wanted to deactivate level stop: To counter this behavior, Blizzard announced in the official forum that they would deactivate the level stop for players at level 110 and above. This was actually intended so that players could remain in certain phases of low-level PvP and not to halt progress in the current content and exploit mechanics.
Only a few hours after this announcement, Blizzard responded again, stating that they “thought about it again” and would not implement the change for now. The developers are looking for other solutions that would be more elegant.
Change is coming, but when? One thing is clear: Blizzard does not want “turbo leveling,” where 2 players stay at level 110 and bring another to 120. Those using this method should hurry—because Blizzard might find another solution to this “problem” soon.
Have you also been “boosted through islands” to level up quickly? Do you think it’s good and sensible that Blizzard wants to put a stop to it?

The PvP in Fallout 76 is mainly perceived as “half-baked” by fans of player-vs-player battles. However, that is supposed to change in 2019.
Bethesda teases a new game mode for the upcoming year that is likely to be particularly interesting for PvP fans.
PvP is being revamped
What has been announced? The developers explained that a new game mode is currently in the works, where you collaborate in teams – or not – without the previous PvP restrictions. The mode is already being internally tested. It is set to go live in the first quarter of 2019.
What could this mode be? It is rather unlikely that Bethesda will ease the current restrictions in PvP and implement open PvP with full damage throughout the game world next year. However, PvE seems to play an important role here as well, since you will still cooperate with other players.
It’s more likely that there will be an additional “flag” that you can activate, which would directly signal your readiness for “complete” PvP, meaning that your first shot will deal full damage.
There may also be PvP-oriented group events where damage is fully active when you participate.
It could also be conceivable that special PvP servers are introduced. So, if you want to engage in PvP without restrictions, the game would connect you to appropriate servers.
Players are excited for the upcoming year
What are fans expecting? In the official Fallout 76 forum, PvP is a hotly debated topic. The discussions also show that it is difficult to find a middle ground.
Some wish for the complete abolition of PvP restrictions, while others hope that this will not be the case. Still, others believe that PvP servers will come.
What else is coming in 2019? A new update with several fixes is scheduled for mid-January, including for perk cards and duplicated robots. The patch notes are expected to detail changes based on developer notes starting in 2019.

2019 will be a fantastic year for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, according to Creative Director Rich Lambert.
What to expect in 2019? What can fans of ESO expect in the coming year? Creative Director Rich Lambert wrote in a letter to the community that he cannot reveal anything concrete yet. However, ESO will turn five years old, and this should be celebrated accordingly.
The story and the adventures that ESO fans will experience in 2019 are supposed to be something very special due to the anniversary.
When will we learn more? At the beginning of 2019, the team wants to reveal initial information about the upcoming content. Then, fans will slowly be able to piece together the puzzle to find out what the new story will be about.
What’s next?
What could we expect? In January 2017, Zenimax announced the expansion Morrowind, followed by the announcement of the expansion Summerset in March 2018. It is therefore expected that we will see another expansion in the coming year, with an announcement at the beginning of the year.
We might explore more of the Khajiit realm of Elsweyr or perhaps venture beyond the borders of Tamriel.
What does the community want? In addition to new content in previously unaddressed countries of the continent Tamriel, fans are discussing a number of improvements they wish for ESO in the official forum. These are even more important to many than new content. They include:
Performance optimizations
Improvements to the housing editor
Adjustments to enemy respawning
A revamp of the combat system
Improvements to console controls
A new class
At the beginning of the coming year, we will likely learn a bit more about what Zenimax has planned for The Elder Scrolls Online in 2019.

As with the two predecessors Völundr and Gofannon, igniting the Izanami forge is tied to a quest. However, many fans believe Bungie has overdone it with the tasks for the new forge. Some players truly have to push themselves to complete the quest or simply skip it altogether. But why?
Here’s how igniting the new forge works: The quest consists of multiple steps and several visits to Ada-1, the merchant of the Black Armory, in the Tower. In short: You find the forge, realize it is broken, and spend most of your time repairing the igniter.
During this, you need to kill 100 Vex here, take down 20 Minotaurs there, farm a ton of materials, play missions, and visit Ada-1 from time to time. At the end, there’s an even tougher version of the “Terminus of Insight” strike – with a recommended power level of 640, no matchmaking, and guaranteed to kick you to orbit if the entire team wipes.
What’s the problem with the new forge? The quest to unlock the Izanami forge is the most extensive of all forge quests so far.
However, as soon as you tackle the task, you quickly realize: The quest progression is not really creative. This task offers little new content.
Instead, Guardians spend between three and five hours grinding through tedious and monotonous farm tasks, which feel strongly like filler and content stretching. All of this takes place in already known locations with familiar enemies.
Particularly, the strike poses challenges for solo players, as the level requirement is high, there is no matchmaking, and you have to start over if the entire fireteam or you alone dies there.
In numerous Reddit posts, fans are expressing their frustration and disappointment. Many state that they really have to push themselves to even complete this boring and artificially stretched quest line. They certainly won’t put themselves through this on a second or third character. After all, the forge is unlocked individually for each Guardian when ignited.
Many players give up midway through the quest or completely refrain from unlocking the third forge. This type of content provides no motivation to even take on this task. After the two predecessors and with these new steps, the enthusiasm has waned for quite a few players.
Fans are currently discussing: A discussion has arisen in the community about whether the forge quest is really the kind of content players want. On one side are fans saying “You wanted more grind, and here you have it”. On the other side is the majority of players who retort, “Yes, but not like this”.
Playing all three characters, this one unlock quest for a single forge takes between 10 and 15 hours of gameplay. Most of that is monotonous and, above all, essentially pointless grind, which brings little to the player besides unlocking the forge.
No one is forced to play all this content in one go and to unlock the forge immediately. However, when players are told a new forge is live, it can be assumed that many Guardians will want to unlock it right away and start crafting new weapons there.
However, whether such quest design will succeed in exciting the Guardians for this remains questionable for many players. A large portion of players apparently will not put themselves through this on more than one character. And some may not do so at all.
