The streamer Forsen likes the new MMO Atlas, but recently advised “Don’t buy it” in the title of his stream. This is an ironic protest against sponsored streams.
This is the biggest stream of Atlas: Sebastian Fors “Forsen” (28) is a veteran on TwitchTV. The Swede has experience with Starcraft 2 and has been active on the streaming platform for many years. In 2015, he made his breakthrough with Hearthstone.
Currently, Forsen enjoys the controversial pirate MMO “Atlas” and is regularly the biggest streamer on Twitch for the game. Despite much criticism of Atlas, there are also people who appreciate the new early access MMO.
This is how his community reacted: The Twitch chat has recently accused Forsen of being “sponsored”, meaning he receives money from the developers to play Atlas.
This is how Forsen reacted: Forsen asked about these “sponsored” accusations: “You know that I play Atlas anyway. Why would they sponsor me? You know what? New stream title: Don’t buy Atlas!” Then he shouted: “They must think they have me!”
After that, Forsen changed the title of his stream to “Don’t buy Atlas” and announced: “I will take the title down if you sponsor me, you (heavy insult). But I want 50% more money than what you paid Lirik and Shroud!” (via Dexerto)
As the site Dexerto reports, this was a humorous moment between Forsen and his stream to prove that he is indeed not “sponsored”.
Meanwhile, Forsen has changed the title of his stream again, but at one point he referred to his action as “Don’t buy Atlas – the new Twitch meta #notsponsored.”
Many appreciate that Forsen addresses the sponsorship issue. He is certainly the streamer who has done the most for Atlas’s popularity without being paid for it.
However, some note that Forsen shouldn’t be celebrated too much here. After all, he was sponsored for a long time by the controversial key seller G2A.
This is what it’s all about: It is ironic that streamers who truly love a game and play it voluntarily do not benefit financially as much as those who are “paid” to check it out.
From the publisher’s perspective, this makes sense; they want to reach a new target audience with their money.
2019 promises to be an exciting year for MMORPG fans. Even those who enjoy classic online role-playing games like Everquest, Dark Age of Camelot, or Ultima Online have some titles to look forward to.

A raid team from Destiny has made it into a special edition of the Guinness World Records. But no achievements from Destiny 2 are recorded here, rather an insane 60-hour raid from Destiny 1. The team defeated all raid bosses without dying or using weapons.
In which Guinness book are the players? They are in the “Guinness World Records – Gamer’s Edition 2019.”
What record does the team hold? The record is for “The 1st team to defeat every raid boss in Destiny 1 without using a weapon or dying.”
This is the record entry: “On May 14, 2017, a team of raiders completed the epic quest that required “precise planning” and “careful strategies.” The team was led by the Redditor “GladHeAteHer182, aka Gladd.”
A total of 12 players contributed to the attempt, as participants swapped their places to give each other the much-needed breaks during the 60-hour endeavor.

Gladd announced the success back then: “We were 5000 times so close, but one way or another didn’t make it. But still, our perseverance led us to victory – finally.”
What’s behind this: The group defeated every raid boss with a heavy handicap: without dying, without using weapons or taking breaks, they aimed to complete every challenge.
They emphasized that they only used each relic and other mechanics at a boss to fulfill the raid mechanics, not to deal damage to the boss.

What is Gladd doing today? The raid leader from 2017, Gladd, is still active in Destiny 2 today. He is considered an exceptional player.
