What You Can Play: Missions, Stronghold, Fort Tarsis, Javelins
What you can expect: The exact contents of the demo are still unknown. However, lead producer Mike Gamble roughly revealed what you can play.
Missions: In the shared-world shooter, you will be able to complete missions with up to four players. Check out current gameplay of Anthem to get an idea of what such a mission looks like. The missions are cooperative; initially, there will be no PvP in Anthem. How many and which missions will be available to you is still unknown.
Freeplay: You can also explore the open world of Anthem without a specific goal. You do not need to take on a mission to move across the vast map. Whether there will be specific events in freeplay during the demo is unknown.
Stronghold (Raid): There will be a stronghold in the demo. These are essentially the dungeons of Anthem where you can undertake a raid with up to four players. The strongholds are meant to be a special challenge that can only be overcome in a group. The enemies here are significantly stronger.
Fort Tarsis: You will see parts of Fort Tarsis. The city is your personal hub where you can also experience the story of Anthem alone. Here, you will also be able to develop your Javelins, freelancers, and builds.

Progress will not be carried over: Everyone starts in the demo at level 10, and the cap will be at level 15. You will not be able to carry over the progress of the demo into the game since you start here with a “fresh” character. However, you will be able to carry over progress from the VIP demo into the open demo.
Javelins that can be played: According to EA, you can play with the Ranger and another Javelin in the demo. In total, there will be four Javelins in Anthem at launch. The second Javelin can be freely chosen from the four available. There are Ranger, Colossus, Interceptor, and Storm.
Smaller things will still be fixed: The demo of Anthem is a special build of the game made for the demo. According to lead producer Gamble, most things should match the final version. There are a few “small things” in the demo that will be fixed for the final build.
Different level:The demo of Anthem will be “easier” than the actual game. Players should be able to test as much as possible in the demo, which is why the XP curve has been adjusted. Progress is faster in the demo, and it will be easier to earn money.
No social hub: The recently announced social hub for Anthem will not be included in the demo yet. This area, where you can meet other players and chill together, will only be present in the final game.
System requirements for PC – This hardware do you need
The PC system requirements are a bit higher. Older PCs may have their problems. If you want to have fun with Anthem for a long time, you may need to consider an upgrade.
The demo is also perfect for testing how well your PC can handle the game.
A small dispute on Twitter sparked funny reactions from two developers. Far Cry and RAGE 2 are competing for who gets to use the color pink.

What happened? After the puzzle of the Niobe Labs was finally solved by the guardians, many assumed that almost all secrets surrounding the “Black Armory” DLC would be solved. However, for a long time, a shader from the Black Armory remained a puzzle for the guardians. How exactly do you get the Bergusia Night?
Why are so many searching for this shader? Since the Black Armory has now exhausted almost all of its content, many guardians are focusing more on long-term goals such as triumphs or titles.
No matter if for the Blacksmith title or the badge of the Black Armory – the Bergusia shader is required for these achievements.
Additionally, the shader looks cool and has a special animation. Numerous symbols flow over corresponding weapons and armor pieces in a mist effect. These symbols are likely familiar to many from the puzzles surrounding the Black Armory.
However, there is a catch, as the shader appears to be quite rare. For a long time, it was unclear how exactly to acquire this shader. Many were desperate in their search.
Here’s how you can get the coveted shader Bergusia Night: Now that the Bergusia Forge has been ignited, there is finally clarity regarding the sources for this rare shader.
Currently, there are two sources for it. You can find Bergusia Night at
curated weapon versions (curated Rolls) from the Bergusia Forge. These drop randomly when you complete powerful weapon frames from Ada-1 in the Bergusia Forge. So, they come in addition to the weapon actually forged.
curated weapons from the Raid Scourge of the Past. These drop randomly at the end of individual encounters in the raid. These curated weapons also come in addition to the regular loot.
However, you won’t be able to enjoy the weapon for long. To get the shader, you unfortunately have to dismantle the appropriate firearm. There’s no other way.
What are curated weapons? Curated weapons are special versions that have fixed, predefined perk sets and already come as masterworks at level 10 with a set stat. You can recognize them by the particularly ornate menu pattern and the golden border that masterwork weapons receive.
Weapons from which you get the Bergusia Night shader are the 7 curated forge weapons or curated firearms from the new raid Scourge of the Past.
But beware! Before you dismantle one of these weapons, it’s better to take a closer look at them. Sometimes it’s worth keeping the weapon instead of dismantling it for the coveted shader. You may not only save the high costs for the masterwork upgrade, but you might also get a truly top-tier weapon.
While not all curated weapons are equipped with the best perk sets, some of them have excellent combinations that you should prefer to keep instead of dismantling. Among them:
the Hand Cannon Kindled Orchid with Extended Mag, Kill Clip, Rampage, and a masterwork on Range. An absolute God Roll

What are the challenges about? This week the tasks are easy to accomplish. You need to deal damage to opponents while being a passenger in a vehicle, search chests, light campfires, and search between three special locations.
Free and paid: In the challenge weeks of Fortnite, there are 7 challenges. If you want to complete all of them, you have to get the Battle Pass. The pass costs 950 V-Bucks, which corresponds to a purchase price of €9.50. Without the pass, you can only complete the 3 free tasks from week 8.

The action MMO “Guardians of Ember” was removed from Steam because the developers had posted reviews for one of their games themselves. Now it is coming back under a new publisher. A new closed beta has started.
What happened with Guardians of Ember? In February 2018, Valve announced that all games from “Insel Games” would be removed from the Steam platform. This included “Guardians of Ember.” Valve terminated all business relationships with Insel Games.

An email was leaked in which employees were instructed by a superior to write positive reviews for Wild Buster. The letter could also be interpreted as a threat: Those who do not write a review jeopardize their job.

The boss later apologized for the email and said it was a misunderstanding and that no employees were threatened, but that didn’t help anymore.
The incident ultimately led to all games from Insel Games being removed. They could still be played but could no longer be purchased.

Additionally, this announcement states “Earn up to 5 Sinnoh Stones through Trainer Battles on Community Day.” Players have speculated whether these stones are guaranteed or if only the chance is increased.
This is what Niantic says: In a Twitter post, Niantic support clarified. They confirm that during the 3 hours on Saturday, from 11 AM to 2 PM, the Sinnoh Stones from Trainer Battles are guaranteed. So, if you battle on that day, you will receive 5 guaranteed Sinnoh Stones.
Why is this good? The Sinnoh Stone is definitely not a common item. You can only obtain the stone from research breakthroughs and Trainer Battles. Many players have complained about the rarity of the stone. Now, you are guaranteed to receive 5 of these stones. So far, the item has helped 11 Pokémon to evolve.
What should I use the Sinnoh Stones for? Through the Community Day in February, you will have the chance to evolve Mamoswine for the first time. It will be the 12th Pokémon in Pokémon GO that you can evolve with this stone.
Since Mamoswine will be the best Ice attacker in the game, it’s wise to evolve several copies. So, preferably use your Sinnoh Stones for that purpose.
For those who haven’t evolved the remaining 11 Pokémon with the Sinnoh Stone yet, focus especially on the evolution of Electivire, Snorunt, and Roserade. These 3 Pokémon are the best monsters that you can get with the evolution item.

She intends to hand Derek over to the Alliance after successfully manipulating him, hoping he will eliminate his family.

Baine betrays Sylvanas: Baine Bloodhoof, the leader of the Tauren and the “conscience” of the Horde, cannot support this plan. He stands against Sylvanas and wants to thwart her plan. Derek is freed from his captivity, and Baine establishes contact with Jaina. Since Baine and Anduin have always had an almost friendly relationship, he was able to use Valeera (Anduin’s spy) to deliver the message. Speculations about the future: Many fans fear that Baine will be killed by Sylvanas for the betrayal, but this very act may lead to the resistance within the Horde becoming more pronounced and could spark a civil war. Others doubt this because Sylvanas knows the importance of Baine and that without him, a large part of the Horde would not follow her anymore.
It remains exciting to see how Sylvanas deals with the betrayal within her ranks.
Since 2010, games from the “Battlefield” franchise have ranked in the top 10 of the sales charts in North America. Battlefield 5 missed out on this in 2018. But why?
What numbers are we talking about? We are referring to the top list of best-selling games in the USA. This list comes from NPD – it’s not political, but stands for “National Purchase Diary,” a market research institute.
As they do every year, they released a list of which games sold best in North America in 2018. At the top are Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty Black Ops 4, and sports games.
But a franchise that usually appears whenever a new installment is released is missing from the top 10: Battlefield.
That’s why Battlefield 5 plays a special role this time: As the site Venturebeat points out, every Battlefield game released in this decade has been among the top 10 on these lists.

Did Battlefield 5 really sell that poorly? There are two caveats or at least particularities regarding this year’s list, which could suggest that BF5 might be doing better than its 14th place indicates:
Battlefield 5 was released in the EA Origin Client – these numbers are not captured by NPD: Hence, digital sales on PC are missing; those from PS4 and Xbox One are included
And the game was included in the “EA Origin Access Premier” pass – so there could be sales counted if players acquired BF5 through this subscription.
And there was simply a lot happening around the launch, with major releases like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, and the constant presence of Fortnite
At Venturebeat, they believe Battlefield 5 missed the “Battle Royale” hype that other games capitalized on. Why would people buy Battlefield 5 if they could just hop into Fortnite with their friends for free, they ask there.
For all these reasons, Battlefield 5 struggled particularly hard in 2018 to match the success of its predecessors. Battlefield 5 also seemed to have a hard time staying in the gaming public’s awareness with so much spectacle going on around it.
This is a problem of the new “Games-as-a-Service” world: Games that have been released take up space and do not go away quickly. This makes it difficult for new games to claim their time in the spotlight.
