In Monster Hunter World, the crossover event with the RPG series The Witcher has started. And fans of Witcher Geralt are surprised.
What does the event offer? Since February 7, 2019, Witcher Geralt from the Witcher games appears in Monster Hunter World. Together with him, you will hunt monsters and even get a new armor set.
What is surprising about the event? Capcom was quite secretive about the content beforehand. However, what has been launched with the event offers a bit more than what the players had expected.
That’s why the event feels like a Witcher game: The new quests even form a small story around Ciri and Geralt, who travel to other worlds due to the magical abilities of the white-haired young warrior. But the world of Monster Hunter is new and dangerous. But Geralt is used to that. And he also knows his way around monsters.
How players react: Witcher fans are excited to experience an adventure with their hero again, which even resembles something like a quest from the game The Witcher 3. It feels like a little gift to see Geralt in action once more.
Players of Monster Hunter World are also surprised at how well the Witcher fits into the scenario. Players who have not yet known The Witcher might now want to take a look at the series because they enjoy what the event offers so much.
How long does the event run?The Witcher event will run until February 21 and will be expanded with new quests and items during this time.
Currently, the event is only available for the console versions of the game.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, more events and tasks are planned before the start of Season 8. They are themed around love and called “Have Love for Each Other”.
What is the “Have Love for Each Other” event? Season 7 has now been going for 10 weeks and all challenges have been completed. However, Season 8 only starts at the end of February. Epic has prepared and plans to launch the new event titled “Have Love for Each Other” with the upcoming update 7.40.
It will feature more challenges themed around love and Valentine’s Day. An unusual idea for a game where players mercilessly eliminate each other until only one remains. But who knows what Epic has in mind and what tasks you will have to complete.
All About the Valentine’s Event
When does it start? The Valentine’s event begins with update 7.40. This is expected to be released on February 12. The event is open to all players; you do not need a Battle Pass for it.
What can you get? There will likely be five new challenges, each promising rewards. Among them is a skin called Valentine’s Gift and a contrail named Vines.
What about skins? For the Battle Pass skins Trug, Powder Snow, and Cuddly, there will also be additional styles. However, you must have the Battle Pass from Season 7 to access them.
What else is there? If you have already supported a content creator in Fortnite or enter a creator code on Epic’s website between February 8 and 22, you will receive a free Cuddle Hearts wrap.
Double XP and More Islands for Creative Mode
When are the double XP weekends? To quickly unlock the additional styles of the Battle Pass skins or earn a few more tiers in the Pass, there will again be special weekends with double experience points at the end of Season 7. These events will take place from February 15 to 17 and from February 22 to 24.
What about the islands? To celebrate the many great ideas from Creative mode, new community islands will be featured daily in Creative mode from February 12 to 22.
MeinMMO author Robert spent a few hours in the beta of The Division 2 and is pleasantly surprised. If the developer fixes the technical issues, The Division 2 could become a more than worthy successor.
This was my expectation for The Division 2: Admittedly, the first gameplay videos did not necessarily blow me away. Aside from the fact that we are in The Division 2 in Washington and there is no snow around, it felt like an expansion of its predecessor that they want to sell at full price.
A drone as a new skill? Boring. If that is all there is to it, that might deter quite a few agents from buying the successor. However, my first hours in the currently ongoing beta have dispelled many of these prejudices. But I digress.
How much does the setting in Washington differ from New York? The story of The Division 1 took place right after the outbreak of the Dollar Virus. You could see that everywhere on the map:
Desperate and hungry passersby searching for food
Mountains of body bags that no one could yet transport
Chaotic conditions, not only among the agents but also among the opposing factions
While The Division 1 felt like the fever dream of a confused anarchist, things in the successor appear more orderly despite the ongoing crisis. This is due to the temporal distance between The Division 1 and The Division 2, which takes place seven months later.
While the streets are also covered with waste and rubble here, there are a few differences:
Instead of winter, the story of The Division 2 takes place in summer. Sunny days alternate with rainy phases
Many traces of the initial chaos have been cleared away. There are significantly fewer body bags lying around.
Nature has begun to reclaim parts of the city. Plants are breaking through the streets everywhere, and wild animals are wandering in the city.
Neglected homeless have organized themselves in settlements to avoid the criminals who have taken over the city.
You immediately sense a different threat level than in the predecessor. The opposing factions have looted the city and are likely better equipped. As in the predecessor, The Division 2 here feels extremely credible and immersive.
How is the gameplay of The Division 2 in the beta? This may be a personal sentiment, but I hated the abrupt stops of the agents in The Division 1. Once you ran into a short lead, it felt like the agent would fall over at any moment. Personally, I find the movement mechanics in the new installment significantly smoother and more pleasant.
Regarding gun behavior, I still had significant problems with the recoil behavior, which is probably also due to the fact that I have not yet installed any mods. Otherwise, the guns feel just as good as in The Division 1.
Otherwise, The Division 2 remains a tactical cover shooter. Almost anything lying around in the game world can be used as cover. I feel like I spent more time in cover since the enemies are very good at aiming in open terrain and quickly damaged my armor.
What changes to the mechanics of the game? Although I cannot really grasp the true extent of the changes yet, it is already clear that a lot will change. For example, the skill system is changing and will now be expanded through the collection of SHD tech.
In addition, you will no longer just upgrade the home base, but also the settlements found in the game world. Everything feels fresh and new and even a bit confusing. A feeling I honestly did not expect.
What can you do in the beta of The Division 2? The scope of the beta is truly gigantic. If you want, you can follow the main story, which includes a few missions. However, you can also complete side quests or simply explore the part of the city that is unlocked in the beta.
There is something to do everywhere, you can
Collect SHD tech to improve your skills (the resource plays a significantly more important role than in the predecessor)
Help settlements to unlock further bonuses
Disable enemy control points or
Venture into the Dark Zone
What bothered me were the incredibly numerous pop-in textures at even short distances. The weapons are also not yet “rounded”. Strange damage indications and peculiar behavior of the magazines (the weapon always had to be reloaded after a switch) caught my attention.
In addition, there were occasional audio dropouts and slight loading delays. Such problems are completely normal in the context of a beta. I am already looking forward to diving back into the world of The Division 2. Who would have thought?
What is your first impression of the beta? Do you like it?

Players discover a plush toy in Apex Legends. A developer explains why this animal has a special place in the game.
This is what happened: Since the release of Apex Legends, players have been finding Easter eggs and other unusual things on the map of the battle royale shooter. Now, they stumbled upon a plush dog that has a special spot on the map.
The plush dog is standing on a pillow. In the immediate vicinity, there are also two photos. One shows a dog, and the other two people.
On Twitter, lead level designer Jason McCord confirms that this is not just a meaningless Easter egg. It’s a touching tribute to a good friend he lost during the development of Apex Legends.
The dog belonged to the developer: The website Kotaku reported on the dog in Apex Legends when it was still unclear who it belonged to. McCord then shared the story behind it on Twitter.
This is the spot where you can find Shadie in Apex Legends. Source: Reddit
While McCord was working on the King’s Canyon map of Apex Legends, the family dog, Shadie, suddenly became very ill and passed away. She was 10 years old.
“As any pet owner knows, it was a hard blow to my morale and made it difficult for me to go to work for many days,” McCord writes on Twitter. “Shadie was our best friend, and I wanted her to live on at that spot on the map.”
The left photo in the picture shows Shadie, and the right photo shows Jason McCord and his wife – for the connection.
Jason McCord shared on Twitter the original photo of Shadie. So the close-up of what you see in the game.
This way, McCord can see his friend every time he plays a round and has created a great memory of the loyal companion. He says he often feels better after visiting the spot in the game.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, you find a dog waiting at a cemetery:
In March, Bungie intends to address the excessive use of Titan Skating on PC with a new update for Destiny 2. The developers have now revealed what changes are planned in their weekly blog.
Titan Skating, or Titan Gliding, has been a popular movement method since Destiny 1 and is considered defining for the Titan class by many Guardians. By skillfully timing their control inputs, Titans can move very quickly, which provides them with a significant advantage in numerous situations.
By using macros and unconventional remapping of controls with mouse and keyboard, players can achieve extreme speeds with Titan Skating that were not intended in this form.
As the intended movement speed is drastically exceeded, users gain an unfair advantage over other players. This advantage is noticeable in fundamental combat gameplay such as aiming or positioning and can even have an impact on the network.
You can see a small example in this video by Ehroar:

What is supposed to change with Titan Skating? Bungie does not go into too much detail. The developers want to address the problem that allows these extreme movement speeds through unconventional inputs (for example, parts of the keyboard mapping to the mouse wheel, macro commands, etc.).
The studio emphasizes repeatedly that Titan Skating itself will not be restricted by this. They understand that this ability is part of the Titan class identity. The Titan should still remain the fast, aggressive jetpack warrior that many fans love them for.
It will still be possible to maximize hover and movement speed through skillful control inputs and thus enhance thrust. However, this should be used less excessively in the future. Guardians who do not use macros or resort to unconventional controls on PC should not notice any difference at all.
What do you think of these changes? Is Bungie unnecessarily clipping the Titan, or is this a sensible adjustment?
Firefly, the developers of the Stronghold series, have announced an interesting MMO called Romans: Age of Caesar. Here, you build cities together with other players, manage them, and trade or wage wars with other metropolises on an online continent.
Co-op City Building
What is Romans: Age of Caesar? It is a city-building strategy game designed as an MMO. This game is not about wandering the land as a hero and defeating monsters together with others. Instead, you build cities together with other players on a large online continent. At the same time, you compete against other city builders. Everyone tries to achieve the position of Imperator through their achievements and maintain that position. The game plays out similarly to other city-building titles:
You collect resources
With these resources, you build buildings
You trade with other players
It is necessary to build defenses
Barbarians repeatedly raid your lands
You raise armies to confront threats

How does the interaction with others work? You do not build your city alone, but select up to 15 players who will support you. You distribute the tasks and resources so that each player can contribute their part to the construction. One takes care of city planning, while another focuses on defense.
Furthermore, you meet other players who, just like you, are building their own cities. Whether you establish diplomatic relations with them and trade, or whether you go to war against them, is up to you.
On which platforms will the MMO be released? Romans: Age of Caesar is set to be released for PC and mobile devices. It will support crossplay, allowing you to manage your city anytime and anywhere.
When is the release? The online game is supposed to start later this year. However, a specific date has not yet been announced.
What about Alphas and Betas? On the official website of Romans: Age of Caesar, it is possible to sign up for a closed alpha. However, it has not yet been said when the testing phase will start. Nothing is known about a beta either.
That’s why many questions remain unanswered: In the press release, the developers revealed very little about the game. There is also no gameplay material or screenshots available. Therefore, we will have to wait and see what Firefly announces in the coming weeks and months about Romans: Age of Caesar to get an idea.
Why is it something special? It is the first major city-building MMO in the West. While Korea already had Civilization Online, we had to wait for something like this here. Romans: Age of Caesar aims to change that.
A leak promises to already know the next hero of Heroes of the Storm. The first image looks extremely promising.
Although a few weeks ago there was the sad news that the development team of Heroes of the Storm is shrinking, players have so far noticed little of the effects. Now, even a new image has appeared, showing a possible leak for the next hero in HotS. And this is none other than Anduin Llane Wrynn.
Who is Anduin Wrynn? Anduin Wrynn comes from the Warcraft universe and is the current High King of the Alliance. Unlike his father, who is more of a warrior, Anduin embodies more of the strengths of a priest, although he does pick up his father’s sword himself in “Battle for Azeroth”.
What kind of hero will Anduin be? It is not yet known what class Anduin will have in Heroes of the Storm. It is certainly possible for Anduin to fulfill the role of a supporter, after all, he is at heart a priest. However, since he is also capable of dealing damage, the role of a “melee mage” (assassin) could also be conceivable for him. It seems rather unlikely for him to take on the role of a tank, as that simply does not fit his stature.
“Neo Stormwind” as a new event? The leaked skin of Anduin is certainly not his standard skin, but supposedly the “Neo Stormwind President Anduin” skin and looks as if it comes from a sci-fi world. Fans suspect that there could possibly be a corresponding event that brings a few other futuristic skins into the game.
Please keep in mind that this leak could also be an elaborate fake. At least at first glance, what is shown looks convincing and coherent.
would you like Anduin Wrynn as a new hero in Heroes of the Storm? Or which hero would you like to see in Blizzard’s MOBA?
An event in Pokémon GO is upcoming. In their newsletter, Niantic announces an event focused on friendships for this evening.
What happened? So far, Niantic has not announced anything in-game or on their website, but those who read the newsletter regularly will have already learned: Today, on February 8th, an event centered around friendships starts.
During this event, the friendship level will increase faster, and the Stardust costs for trading will be reduced.
These are the bonuses from the Friendship Weekend
When does the event start? This evening, on February 8th at 10 PM, the event starts and runs throughout the weekend until Monday, February 11th at 10 PM.
What are the bonuses? During the event period, there are 3 bonuses:
The friendship level increases twice as fast
The Stardust costs for trading are halved
All trades yield double candies
That’s why the event is worth it: Besides the event around friendships, there is another event currently happening. During the celebrations for the Chinese New Year, the chance of shiny Pokémon in Pokémon GO is increased.
You will not only pay less Stardust when trading, but you can also hope for shiny Pokémon. These will also cost less Stardust when leveling up.
What you should pay attention to: If you level up with a friend, use a Lucky Egg; it doubles the XP when leveling up. If you reach the maximum level in friendships with a friend, you will gain 200,000 XP instead of 100,000.
It is especially worthwhile to activate a Lucky Egg since the experience points for catching and evolving are doubled during the current event. With the Lucky Egg, you then receive quadruple XP.
A tweet from BioWare’s Q&A session about Anthem is causing discussion. The developers are presumably already thinking about how to get Anthem onto the next generation of consoles.
What happened? BioWare called on Twitter to submit questions about Anthem. Three lead developers answered all the questions from curious Twitter users.
One answer stands out: A fan asked if it would be possible to transfer save files to the next generation consoles. The Head of Live Service, Chad Robertson, responded with: “Always …”
Transfer save files to next-gen consoles
What does the tweet imply? What Robertson means here isn’t clear from the single tweet. Apparently, BioWare is already planning ahead for a transition.
Save files on PS4 and Xbox One are said to be transferable to the next generation consoles. Someone playing Anthem on PS4 can then carry their progress over to PS5. Robertson likely just means a seamless transition of the gaming experience.
Anthem would not be the first online game to implement something like this. In Final Fantasy XIV it is even possible to play the same character on both PS3 and PS4. Crossplay is also offered. Whether this will be the case in Anthem is uncertain, even if “always” is a strong signal.
It wouldn’t be surprising if the developers are already considering technical solutions for a seamless transition to the new consoles. Analysts and industry insiders expect the next generation to be released in 2020.
The developers of Anthem answered fans’ questions and provided some responses. One question was whether more Javelins will be available in the future.
There will be new Javelins: In a major Q&A session on Twitter from BioWare, it was confirmed that there will be more Javelins in the future. However, no details were provided about what these new suits will be. It was mentioned that a Javelin focused on healing is unlikely, as they want to maintain flexibility.
In the past, fans have repeatedly expressed their desire for more Javelins in the future. We could observe this in the comments on MeinMMO.
With a continuously growing world, it would only be fitting to have new classes to play.
Comparison to Warframe: The genre-related MMO shooter Warframe also started with three suits. Now there are nearly 40. The crafting and unlocking of new Warframes is still a major motivator for players to log in and obtain the new classes.
New Javelins as long-term motivators: New classes always bring fresh gameplay and new accents into the game. What’s particularly cool about this is that players can actively try out a new role. Players test new group dynamics or there are new possibilities to create builds.
18 more exciting facts about Anthem
In the major Q&A session, there were more insights from BioWare about Anthem. We have curated 18 additional answers that we found particularly interesting:
Sponsored or special event skins will be a part of Anthem
In March, the first free expansion will already be available: BioWare has already released the roadmap for the month following the release of Anthem. It is already more extensive than one might have thought.
With the release of Shiny Meltan in Pokémon GO, the question arises as to how rare the shiny form of the Pokémon is. An analysis provides insight.
What happened? Since February 5, Shiny Meltan is in the game. You can only get this Pokémon from the Mystery Box, and many players have already opened their boxes.
Based on the results from the opened boxes, an analysis has now taken place on Reddit to show how rare the shiny Meltan is supposed to be.
This is the probability of getting Shiny Meltan
What does the analysis say? On Reddit, 350 Mystery Boxes were included in the analysis. On average, players received about 23 Meltan in one box, resulting in 8110 encounters.
8110 encounters with Meltan
202 Shiny Meltan were caught
Shiny Rate: 1 in 40
What does the Shiny Rate tell us? Every 40th Meltan is roughly a Shiny. So you should open about two Mystery Boxes on average to encounter the desired Shiny. This is obviously just the probability and not a guarantee.
The chance of finding the shiny Meltan is surprisingly high therefore. On Community Days, you get Shinys with a chance of 1 in 25, and on special Shiny weekends about 1 in 50. Meltan falls in between.
With the start of the Meltan event, many players discussed the Shiny rate. Many expected a normal rate of 1 in 450. This is generally how it is handled with the release of Shinys.
What are my chances of getting Shiny Meltan? In the current event, there is a possibility that you will receive a Mystery Box every 3 days. If you play it smart, you can open 10 of these boxes and encounter about 230 Meltan. With such a high Shiny rate, you will almost certainly get a shiny Meltan.
Have you caught a Shiny Meltan yet?
If you want to know how rare other Shinys are, we have the right article for you here:
In week 10 of Season 7 in Fortnite you will not find a hidden star, but a banner. We will show you where the banner icon is hiding. You can easily reach the location.
What is it about? In the tenth week of Season 7, Fortnite is hiding a banner this time. Too bad for those who wanted to look for a star.
We will show you here where you can find the hidden banner as a Battle Pass owner.
The snowfall challenge – week 10 banner
The snowfall challenge is running in Season 7 of Fortnite. As a big reward, a “Prisoner” skin awaits if you have completed at least 60 tasks of the weekly challenges.
If players complete all 7 tasks of a week, they unlock a loading screen. This gives a hint of where the corresponding star or banner is located. In week 10, the loading screen looks like this:
The loading screen from week 10 in Season 7 in Fortnite
Here there is the hint: Slightly hidden in the image, you will find the hint for the secret banner. Check near the tree that stands in the middle of the left half of the image.
From the image, you can already recognize a rough location. It is the point where the desert biome transitions into the grass biome. This is in grid cell I6 on the Fortnite map.
Where is the banner? The position in the image already indicates quite well where the banner is hidden. It is right next to the tree.
Video guide: To ensure you find the sought-after location of the banner, we are embedding a YouTube video here for you that shows the location.

How to unlock the 3rd stage of the Prisoner skin is shown in this guide:
This is how the developers ensure diversity: The developers have made sure that the selection of heroes is not just filled with white men, but instead focused on diversity.
Thus, among the eight playable heroes, there is one robot, three women (two of whom are dark-skinned), a gender-neutral figure, and a homo- or bisexual soldier of Polynesian descent.
This is the story of Gibraltar: The background story of the hulking tank Gibraltar reveals that he once stole his father’s motorcycle with his “boyfriend” when he was a teenager and then got caught in a landslide and stuck there. It was there that he found his calling to help others.
Since Gibraltar clearly had a “friend,” it can be assumed that he is bi- or homosexual.
This hero is not gender-specific: The situation is different with the mysterious scout Bloodhound. He is completely covered and speaks in a strange distorted voice that sounds neither female nor male. According to an interview with the developers on the site Rock Paper Shotgun, he could be anything.
They want to move away from the image of a “gang of military types with helmets to a more diverse, colorful crew.”
Therefore, diversity is important: According to the developers, this is important as battle royale games are played by a wide variety of different players. Everyone should have something they can identify with.
Diversity is therefore as important in Apex Legends as in Blizzard’s Overwatch. The two title heroes Tracer and Soldier: 76 are both homosexual. However, the sexual orientation of the LGBTQ heroes in Apex Legends has been clear from the start and was not revealed years after the game’s launch.
It remains exciting to see which characters and backgrounds will come to Apex Legends in upcoming updates. The plans for Season 1 are already set:
Once you reach the endgame in The Division 2, you unlock the 3 specializations. We present them to you and also want to know in our survey which one you play in the beta.
These are the specializations: There are a total of three different specializations in The Division 2:
Demolitionist
Survivor
Sniper
They come with different weapons and skill mods that fit the respective specialization. Each has its own signature weapon:
The Demolitionist gets a grenade launcher
The Survivor has a precision crossbow
And the Sniper has a heavy caliber .50 sniper rifle
This is how the signature weapons work: If you played The Division 1, you probably remember the Ultis or Signature Skills, where you could choose from three different ones.
If not: These were particularly powerful skills with a longer cooldown. To unlock them in the first part, you had to upgrade the wings of the operations base.
These Ultis are no longer there; instead, there are now the signature weapons of the specializations. Each one differs significantly from the others.
With the grenade launcher, you can effectively control crowds of enemies and rain explosions on foes
The crossbow uses explosive bolts that stick to enemies, detonate after a short time, and deal massive damage
The sniper rifle has extreme penetrating power, capable of piercing through cover. Additionally, enemies in cover are highlighted.
What all these weapons have in common: ammunition is scarce. The signature weapons have their own type of ammunition, which is rather rare. Therefore, you must plan carefully and ensure that you do not waste it unnecessarily.
How do I get the ammunition? Typically, it is dropped by tougher enemies. In the PvP modes, it will appear on the map after a while.
In addition to the signature weapons, there are special skill mods that you can unlock as you progress through the levels of the specializations.
The Skills of the Specializations
Depending on the specialization, there are other skill categories that match your choice. The exact progression is not known at this time. However, some of the mods are already known and can be unlocked exclusively for the respective specialization:
These are the known skill mods of the Sniper:
Drone – Tactician: With this mod, the drone flies at the highest possible point above you and acts as a kind of tactical scanner. It shows you the locations of enemies while it is active.
These are the known skill mods of the Survivor:
Seeker Mine – Mender: This can distribute repair clouds. They can restore your armor. If you do not select a specific target for them, the mine will automatically find the team member with the lowest armor.
These are the known skill mods of the Demolitionist:
Turret – Artillery: This type of turret fires an explosive shot at a location of your choice. Similar to a grenade launcher, you can only fire a single shot at a time, and the projectiles cover a small area.
Whether there will be more of these skill mods is currently unknown.
We have summarized what is currently known about the skills and mods that will be in The Division 2.
How do I unlock the specializations? In the actual game, the specializations are unlocked at level 30. You can freely switch between them. Each specialization can be leveled up and unlock new benefits.
However, in the Private Beta of The Division 2, you already have the first opportunity to test the specialization yourself.
Which specialization are you playing in the beta?
This is how you play the specializations in the Private Beta: In the beta, you start with a new character. After completing the “Jefferson Trade Center” mission, a new mission will be unlocked for you on February 8th at 5 PM: “Welcome to the Endgame”. Once you complete this, you will gain access to the 3 specializations.
You can then test each of the specializations in action, including the signature weapons. Therefore, we would like to know, in line with the beta release, which of the three specializations you will play?
The Sniper, who prefers to stay at a distance, the Demolitionist, who rains explosions on his enemies, or perhaps the Survivor, who can be devastating against individual enemies with his crossbow?
Participate in our survey and tell us in the comments why you chose this specialization.
If you want to quickly access the most powerful abilities in Black Desert Online, you need to reach Level 56. Then you unlock the Awakening abilities. We will show you how to reach Level 56 the fastest.
Why Level 56? At this level, all classes unlock their powerful “Awakening abilities”. These are particularly strong skills that change the gameplay of the classes. Additionally, with a higher level, your accuracy increases, allowing you to hit your opponents more often. This is especially important in PvP.
Level up together for quick success
What is Powerleveling: The fastest way to Level 56 is only possible with another player. In the community, this method is also called “Power Leveling”. A well-equipped, stronger player groups up with a weaker player in an area meant for very strong players.
The weaker player activates all possible XP buffs and gains experience points from the other player. With this method, a weak character can reach Level 56 in about two to three hours.
Important notes: If you level up through Powerleveling, your character will have 360 instead of 400 skill points. This is because characters collect separate experience points for level and skill points. Also, you will not receive items from defeated enemies if they are more than 6 levels above or below you.
If you level in a group, the experience points you receive are reduced. With two players, each player receives 60% of the experience points. With three or more, only 50%.
Level 56 without Powerleveling
If you do not feel like Powerleveling or simply lack the right companion, you can also complete the leveling process alone.
Forest of Seclusion: Level 9 – 13
In the Forest of Seclusion, you can gain some levels. Leveling is easy and goes quickly. Make sure to complete the quest for Jarette Domongatt to awaken your Black Spirit and unlock the ability to enhance your gear. You can easily reach the Forest of Seclusion by walking southeast from the western watchtower.
Valuable items: Black Stone (Armor).
Heidel Quarry: Level 13 – 15
To reach the area, you travel to the town of Heidel and leave this place heading north. You can open the map with “M” and type “Heidel” in the search field. This will lead you directly to the quarry.
In the quarry, you defeat goblins until you reach Level 15.
Leveling in the castle ruins can be very challenging. However, the area rewards players with large groups of mobs that grant many experience points. This area is also located south of the town of Heidel.
Valuable items: Black Stone (Weapon).
Bloody Monastery: Level 24 – 30
You can find the Bloody Monastery south of Glisch, a small village. In the Bloody Monastery, you will encounter quite dense groups of enemies. Grinding goes quickly here. You will find particularly many enemies within the temple complex at the top of the hill.
If leveling in the cave has become boring, you can look forward to a bit of variety. Between Level 35 and 40, you level up in the abandoned land. It is located northwest of the town of Calpheon.
Valuable items: Black Stone (Armor).
Marni Cave Path: Level 40 – 45
In the Marni Cave Path, you will face some not-so-strong enemies. The quickest way to get there is to head southeast of the town of Calpheon.
Valuable items: Black Stone (Armor).
Catfish Camp: Level 45 – 50
Now, head to the area where you will level up to Level 50. You can reach the Catfish Camp by walking southwest from Calpheon until you reach a larger body of water. Keep in mind that from Level 50, open PvP is activated, and you can be attacked by any other player.
Black Desert will not automatically level you up to Level 50. You will need to confirm this first. When you feel ready to confront all the dangers of Black Desert, you can continue your journey to Helms Post.
Valuable items: Loures’ lost shoes, Ancient Relic Crystal Fragments, Treant Spirits’ Whispering Earrings.
Helms Post: Level 50 – 53
At Helms Post, you will often meet other players. This leveling area is very popular because Asula Accessories can drop here. The level area is located west of Kusha.
Valuable items: Asula’s Blood-Red Earring, Asula’s Blood-Red Ring, Helm of the Trade Association of Mediah.
Alternative: Automatically level up from Level 50
In Black Desert, you have the option to level up automatically starting from Level 50. This is called Black Spirit Training. To level up automatically, you simply need to have enough silver. Most players start this no earlier than Level 56, but it is up to you how you spend your money.
This is how you level up automatically: To level up automatically, go to the NPC Jamey Drucker, who is located in the cities of Velia, Heidel, Calpheon, Altinova, and Valencia. There, you can buy training manuals for skill and combat experience points. One hour of training costs 1,000,000 silver.
Once you have used one of the books, you can interact with one of the scarecrows and start the training. You must keep Black Desert running in the background during the training.
Sausan Garrison: Level 53 – 56
The Sausan Garrison area can be used to level up to Level 56 as quickly as possible and unlock your powerful Awakening abilities. Sausan is often used by other players for grinding, and the enemies there can deal you significant damage. Therefore, it’s best if you level up in a group.
Black Desert has no real level cap, as experience points continue to accumulate. However, the experience points required for a level up increase so significantly after a certain point that it may take you several weeks, if not months, to reach the next level.

Among players, this threshold is known as the “Soft Cap”. In Black Desert, the “Soft Cap” is about Level 61. After that point, it takes a long time to gain a level. Many players therefore focus on obtaining better equipment to become stronger. For example, the first player reached Level 63 in 2017.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the campfires are finally online, allowing you to unlock the mysterious Snowfall Skin from Season 7 at level three. Here you will find a map of the corresponding campfire in the game.
What is the deal with the campfires? Campfires are nothing new in Fortnite. However, since update 7.30, there are also fixed campfires that can be ignited when found. They burn out and can no longer be used after that. They are one-time items per match.
How do you use the campfires for level 3 of the Prisoner skin? As seen in the leaked title image for week 10, campfires play a role in the Prisoner’s development. After his long imprisonment in the ice, the Prisoner warms himself by a campfire and sheds his chains.
You need to do just that. Grab the Prisoner as your skin and seek out this specific campfire from the image. It is located at Paradise Palms, but always stay alert for anyone stalking you. The fire can only be used once per round, and there are plenty of nasty opponents around.
You can find a map of the campfire’s location here. The map comes from Dexerto.
The nerfs in Hearthstone had unforeseen consequences. One of the best cards in the game no longer serves its purpose.
Basically, I consider balance changes in Hearthstone to be important and correct. To keep the game exciting and to introduce variety into somewhat established decks, they are essential. That’s why I thought the nerfs to the old cards were good as well. But unfortunately, Blizzard did not consider all the consequences of these nerfs.
For the nerfs to the cards also had consequences for entire decks and thus also for the “deck formulas” that Hearthstone suggests when creating new decks.
Old deck formulas are now nonsensical: One of these decks is “Nekrium-Cocktail” from the rogue and is based on a lot of death rattles effects. Among other things, this deck also includes the card “Prince Keleseth”. This card buffs all minions in the deck by +1/+1 as a battle cry, but only if the deck contains no other cards that cost 2 mana.
Prince Keleseth is significantly less appropriate without a functioning battle cry.
Exactly here lies the problem: Since the patch, the rogue spell “Cold Blood” no longer costs only 1 mana, but now 2 mana. This means that Keleseth’s battle cry will no longer be triggered unless you have both “Cold Blood” cards in hand or played beforehand.
Of course, one might say, “If you know that, you just change the deck formula, no problem!” – and that’s true. But only to a certain extent.
Wurbelfitz suffers from the nerfs: The second consequence is that the card Wurbelfitz the Wonderful is also affected by the change. Those who play this card receive a random deck at the start of the match, selected from the existing deck formulas.
With a bit of bad luck, one now starts with a rogue deck that cannot access one of its core components, namely buffing all minions in the deck. This makes Wurbelfitz the Wonderful much less attractive, and I internally roll my eyes every time I now have to face the rogue deck.
Wurbelfitz is my current favorite card. I no longer have to think about deck construction when I just want to play a few matches “on the side”. Wurbelfitz makes a lot of things so easy and is perfect for a more “casual” play of Hearthstone.
This is what Blizzard should do in the future: The developers should ensure that all deck formulas of all classes are reviewed and adjusted with every balance patch when there are conflicts. If certain cards no longer fulfill their purpose due to an adjustment, then the deck formulas and thus Wurbelfitz the Wonderful must also be adjusted.
Because in this way, the actually brilliant card loses much of its charm. And especially for a few matches “in between” without having to think too much about a new deck, Wurbelfitz has been wonderful so far.
Clever fans have found a way to fix the annoying sound bug in the beta of The Division 2. This is how you get the dialog sounds working – at least on PC.
What happened? Since today, February 7th, numerous fans can enjoy the private beta of The Division 2 and get their own impression of the game. However, the start of this testing phase is accompanied by some difficulties.
One of the most annoying problems currently represents a bug that causes the dialog sound of various characters in the game to disappear. Numerous players are annoyed by this and are desperately looking for a solution. Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have not yet been able to fix this bug themselves. But fortunately, the community has found a solution.
This is how you activate the dialog sound on PC: To fix the sound bug, you need to edit entries in some game files. However, this can be done without much effort and, according to numerous reports from affected players, reliably restores the sound.
However, note that this workaround only works on PC. Currently, nothing can be done to address this issue on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Here’s what you need to do:
Navigate on your PC to the following folder of the logged-in profile: Documents -> My Games -> The Division 2
There you will find the files “persistent_settings.cfg” and “state.cfg”
You now need to edit these files (for example, with the Windows Editor)
In persistent_settings.cfg, search for the “BD” entry and set the value to 0. Save the file afterwards and set it to read-only before restarting the game
In state.cfg, scroll down to localization and also set the value at “spokenLanguage” to 0. Here too, you need to save and enable the write protection in the file properties
This should solve the problem and the characters should no longer remain silent.
Here you can find more info about the private beta of The Division 2: We have set up a live ticker just for the beta, where we report on all important events, announcements, and issues surrounding the beta. In Fortnite the challenges of week 10 in season 7 have started. This time the task is: Visit expedition outposts during a match.
What is it about? Challenges in Fortnite change weekly during a season. You are supposed to deal damage with certain weapons or solve small puzzles. In week 10 of season 7, you need to visit 4 expedition outposts in a single match.
It’s not hard at all. We will show you the map of the outposts. You just need to visit four of the stations within a match to complete the task.
These are the locations where you will find the outposts.
Locations of the outposts:
D3 – On the mountain northwest of Pleasant Park
F3 – In the southeast of Lazy Links
B5 – At the edge of the grid on the map
I5 – In the west of Lonely Lodge
F5/F6 – On the hill in the west of Dusty Divot
D8 – The outpost in the ice
H8 – In the west of Paradise Palms
What are outposts? They are buildings scattered across the Fortnite map. A kind of bunker above ground. As the buildings look quite similar, you should be able to spot them quickly and easily on the map if you follow our map.
An outpost in Fortnite – Also accessible via ziplines.
Your task: To complete the task, you need to visit 4 expedition outposts in just one match. If you die beforehand, the task will be canceled and your progress will be reset.
Also, keep in mind that you need to finish a match after completing the task. If you have visited all required outposts and leave the game before it ends normally, the task will not count as completed. You must then either be eliminated or win.
What other tasks are there this week? In week 10, you also need to search chests, hit opponents with grenades, or use specific weapon types for eliminations. In our overview, you can see all tasks for week 10 in season 7 of Fortnite: Battle Royale.
