The end of Season 16 in Diablo 3comes later than expected. Blizzard allows you to enjoy the bonus for a few more weeks.
Which season is currently active in Diablo 3? Since January 18, Season 16 has been running in Diablo 3. It was originally scheduled to end on Sunday, March 17. However, the end has now been postponed.
When does Season 16 end now? The new end of S16 is nearly two months later, on May 12.
Why has Blizzard extended the season now? Since Season 14, Diablo 3 has been trying out a new feature called “Seasonal Theme.” The special thing about it is that there is a bonus for all players during the duration of a season.
Blizzard explains in the forum that S16 has the most popular seasonal theme so far and they are responding to the request to extend the duration. They also need more time for S17.
Season 16 is our most popular seasonal theme yet and we are glad that so many of you are enjoying experimenting with the power effect of the Ring of Royal Grandeur. […] We already have plans for Season 17, but we will need some time to test them internally and then before releasing them on the PTR.
We also know that many of you wish for an extension of Season 16. To accommodate this request and allow us the necessary time to prepare for Season 17 (and Patch 2.6.5), we are postponing the end of Season 16 to May 12.
How are fans reacting to this? In the community, this extension is a hot topic. User S7mrmiller writes on Reddit about why he thinks the season is so popular:
“Because it really changes the gameplay. Even if it’s just a small change. Double goblins and extra bounty materials speed up a few things, but they don’t change the gameplay or builds.” He says that a fifth passive ability, a fourth slot in Kanai’s Cube, or even the ability to wear two wrists could change builds. This could make the game more exciting.
These sets are available from Haedrig’s Gift in Season 16
Other users write:
“Most popular season with seasonal theme, yet still much less popular than the originals without a theme.”
“D3 permanently activates a unique cube slot and calls that a league. The janitor could probably do that in a day. Meanwhile, PoE does a mini-expansion every 3 months with new mechanics, unique gear, new zones…”
How do you like the current Season 16? Are you satisfied and happy about the extension, or would you prefer to have a new season quickly?
As long as S16 is running, you should take advantage of this:
Anthem is the new big game from BioWare. But does it also satisfy BioWare fans? Cortyn tries to answer that question.
Anthem is BioWare’s big game of 2019. But how does Anthem perform in the expectations of a BioWare fan? Is the game worth it for someone who liked Mass Effect or fell in love with the Dragon Age series?
To get straight to the point: I have loved most of BioWare’s games, even the more controversial titles. I enjoyed Dragon Age, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and the entire Mass Effect series.
I even had fun with Andromeda and consider it to be a fundamentally solid game. I even loved the extremely controversial ending of Mass Effect 3 because I support the indoctrination theory.
Hawke and her sister Bethany from Dragon Age 2.
What I mean to say is: I can get into many things with BioWare games and find joy in them, even if some fans’ expectations were disappointed.
In the week of “Early Access,” I played Anthem extensively and already formed my opinion about the game.
Anthem is not a typical BioWare game
The most important point first: Anthem is not a typical BioWare game. There are no branching dialogues with significant story decisions or compelling romances.
You won’t find a companion system or moral choices that lead to different endings in the narrative. Those who expected that from Anthem will be bitterly disappointed.
There are monsters to fight, freelancers!
And yet BioWare has drawn on many elements that primarily made Mass Effect great. We have already explained in this article that the combo system and entire types of enemies stem 1:1 from Mass Effect.
The actual gameplay also strongly resembles the last installment of Mass Effect, but offers many more possibilities due to the option to fly.
And you can’t deny it: Flying with the Javelins is fun. Diving down on enemies, throwing bolts of lightning or fireballs, shooting with various weapons – all of this is really enjoyable. The focus here is clearly on the abilities of the individual Javelins, but the cooperation within the group is really good.
And yet long-time BioWare fans will miss something, because …
Many parallels, but the heart is missing
BioWare games in the past had a mostly very clear focus: the story. The narrative was always in the foreground and helped create a convincing world. The actual gameplay, meaning the combat and RPG systems, were mostly just tools to support the story.
One played for the next cutscene, the next great dialogue, or to finally bring a companion’s story to a conclusion.
In Anthem, it is different. The gameplay is in the foreground and the story is secondary. If you walk through Fort Tarsis (the game’s “base”), you do discover some background information, but it is significantly less rich than in other BioWare games.
Even worse, at times the story has been a disruptive element for me, holding me back from the action.
That BioWare has made me find the action in a game more interesting than the story is both nice and sad.
The enjoyment of a story is a matter of taste and definitely not an objective criterion for evaluation. Personally, I liked the story, but at some points it felt a bit too thin, and often it was a stumbling block that made cooperative play difficult or forced me into long dialogues when I actually wanted to explore the game world more.
Haluk, one of the NPCs in Anthem.
Conclusion: Anthem is a great game, but not for everyone
Anthem is not the big gaming revelation of 2019 for me – especially not as a BioWare fan. I fear that Anthem will lose many players in just a few weeks who have grown tired of it.
But that is perfectly fine. Anthem is a solid game that definitely provides enjoyment for 20 to 30 hours and may keep some players engaged for longer.
However, I doubt that it will keep hardcore gamers entertained for weeks and months. A few hours with friends on the weekend is fine.
But I wouldn’t expect much more from Anthem unless the developers pull a few big surprises out of the hat.
Do you share this opinion? How do you perceive Anthem as a “BioWare fan”?
Why our shoe man is excited about Anthem, he reveals here:
Currently, several pages report that the King of Twitch, Fortnite player Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has lost 90% of his subscribers on Twitch in the last 10 months. What is behind this?
This is the news: The site Metro reported that Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has lost 90% of his subscriptions in the last 10 months.
This means that the actual King of Twitch has suddenly been defeated and is now only running in the background.

The “End of Ninja”, a highly regarded YouTube video explains Ninja’s decline.
“The End of Ninja”
This is the interpretation: A reading from German media and YouTubers is now that “Fortnite” as a trend is over and Ninja has declined.
He is not as excited as he used to be, seems tired. Somehow close to burnout.
On the German site buffed it says: “But his time seems to be slowly running out. The reason is that Fortnite is slowly losing popularity and Ninja has probably become too mainstream for many of his fans due to TV appearances, etc., but on the other hand, he is no longer number 1.”
German gaming media report on the fall of Ninja
On YouTube, statements by Ninja are also quoted, stating that he is losing subscribers because his fans think they no longer need to support him, he has enough anyway.
What are subscribers: With “subscribers” we mean subscribers on Twitch. Unlike followers, subscribers support their streamer monthly with a small amount of money.
This subscription must be renewed monthly; otherwise, a streamer loses this source of income.
According to current estimates, Ninja is said to be far behind in 12th place.
The estimated subscriber numbers on Twitch – Source: Twitch Stats
Subscriber numbers on Twitch – the eternal mystery
Where do these numbers come from? The “subscriber” numbers on Twitch are not publicly accessible. They are actually a secret.
A meta-site “Twitch Stats” claims to know these numbers exactly.
Based on these numbers from Twitch, gaming sites report on the “ups and downs” of streamers and now attribute a crisis to Ninja.
Are these numbers reliable? Not really. Generally, one relies on “official statements” from the streamers or simply estimates.
It was much higher than Twitch Stats had estimated until then. Subsequently, Twitch Stats ranked him higher. So the numbers aren’t really reliable.
What now with Ninja? Ninja is currently listed with 25,533 subscribers. This puts him in 12th place.
Metro compares him, however, with the number of subscribers he had 10 months ago in April 2018. At that time, he had 263,000 subscribers.
This means he has lost 90% of his subscribers compared to then.
This skin probably earned Ninja a fortune
Numbers from April 2018 were totally inflated
What is it really about? In fact, the loss of subscribers is due to something else: Ninja’s numbers were inflated in April due to a promotion by Epic.
For they made a deal with Twitch – Fortnite players could subscribe to Amazon in March and April 2018, then received a Fortnite skin, Twitch Prime, and a “free month subscription” – many gave that to Ninja back then.
These “free subs” have long since disappeared with time. One can assume that Ninja has been far away from the “250,000 subscribers” he once had months ago.
However, the actual figure is not known, only the estimates from Twitch Stats.
He also won an award for Best Streamer in 2018
Currently, Twitch Stats simply estimates that Ninja’s decreased streaming presence due to the break has caused some subscriptions to slip from his “normal curve.” This estimate, together with the melting away of the “free subscriptions,” makes this headline arise.
They compare:
the figures from April 2018, which were artificially inflated by Twitch Prime
with the “estimated” current stats while Ninja is taking a break
The fastest-growing Twitch channels in February 2019. Source: Twitchmetrics
This speaks against “The End of Ninja”
Is Ninja still popular? In contrast to the “subscriber” numbers, the follower numbers of Twitch streamers are publicly accessible and thus legitimate.
In February 2019, Shroud is also the fastest-growing channel with more than 512,000 new followers. He is followed by LoL pro Rekkles, who has just opened his channel, and Tfue, Ninja’s rival.
But Ninja already ranked 4th with over 267,000 new followers.
But the “End of Ninja” while he is simultaneously the fourth fastest-growing channel on Twitch – that probably doesn’t work – even if some clearly want to see that.
The Open Beta of The Division 2 will start soon, and all players can participate. But what happens to the progress from the Private Beta? Developer Massive has answered this question.
What is included in the Open Beta: Interested players can gain an extensive impression of The Division 2. You can test Story, PvP, and Endgame content and collect loot, try out various weapons and armor, and level up.
But what about the people who could already play this content in the Private Beta? They had from February 7th to February 12th to test all this content. Developer Massive has now answered this question.
What happens to the Private Beta progress in the Open Beta?
This is what Massive says: A fan asked if they would keep their progress from the Private Beta. Community Manager Yannick Bancherau answered this question via Twitter: “No, you have to start over.”

Thus, participants of the Private Beta should be aware that they will also start at 0 in the Open Beta and will have to collect all their equipment anew.
Why could that be? Massive does not provide a justification. However, since there are PvP contents in the Beta, the decision is understandable.
Many players from the Private Beta probably found good equipment already. Thus, they would have an advantage over newcomers in PvP.
When does the Open Beta start? From March 1st to March 4th, you can test the Open Beta of The Division 2. The content should be identical to that of the Private Beta.
The expedition of a player from the space online game Elite Dangerous got a bit out of control. Because he has been missing for three months, but is now supposed to be rescued.
Rescue Mission in Space
What happened? Getting lost in space can become a big problem. This happened to player Commander Deluvian Reyes Cruz. He set out last November to break a new record in Elite Dangerous.
He wanted to cover the longest distance from the “Sol” solar system. He had already succeeded five times before. This time, however, he seems to have overdone it.
Mining in Elite Dangerous
Because he ran out of fuel on the way, and since then his ship has been drifting in the emptiness of space – for a whole 3 months.
How will the player be rescued now? The Fuel Rats, a group of players specializing in rescuing commanders who have run out of fuel in space, are on their way to the rescue.
However, this is not an easy task. First, they had to obtain the fuel. Then it is necessary to reach Commander Deluvian Reyes Cruz – and he is quite far out in space. Just coming up with a plan for how the Fuel Rats could reach and bring the player back took three days.
Now the operation has started. Five commanders with 2,576 tons of fuel have set out. It will now take until Friday, February 22, until the Fuel Rats reach the destination. This can be followed live on Twitch.

Players Love the Challenge
That’s why this has happened more often: Elite Dangerous offers a huge galaxy full of places that have not yet been explored. This naturally awakens the spirit of exploration. Players want to see how far they can fly into space and what there is out there. But that sometimes leads to a catastrophe.
Information about a new Fallout game has surfaced through a strange product page on Amazon. Bethesda has apparently set up placeholders to prepare for a new product. There is a countdown, but for what?
Three different placeholders for a new Fallout product appeared on Amazon. These have since disappeared and had no images. A related countdown led many to speculate on a Fallout product, even though the countdown was stock material, not Fallout-specific representations.
The placeholders on Amazon appeared for all current platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC. There were three versions available:
Standard
Deluxe
Collector’s
Each edition was priced at $59.99 and dated for December 31, 2019, a placeholder date. Neither the price nor the date is likely to reflect the final product, but serve only as a dummy.

The title is already trending: The unique aspect of this placeholder is that it even appeared in Amazon’s bestsellers, despite being visible for only a short time before it was removed.
According to PCGamer, this may be due to players pre-ordering before the price is inflated. This way, they ensure that they only pay a maximum of $60 when the game is released. This ensures Amazon’s model.
Fans also grabbed the Power Armor Edition of Fallout 76 – it sold out quickly.
Fans speculate about what kind of game will be released soon.
Other fans of the series are discussing on reddit, where they are throwing out some rather unserious suggestions:
Fallout 77, whose associated Vault 77 contains a single person with dozens of dolls
Fallout: The Card Game
Fallout Shelter 2
Fallout: Battle Royale
However, many fans seem to be so disappointed with Fallout 76 that they have little real hope for a new game. What Bethesda will actually do with the placeholder remains to be seen.
What do you think? Will there be a new Fallout game and if so, what kind?
To warm up for the new title, you can take another look at the old parts:
The discussion about how pronounced the pay-to-win factor in FIFA 19 is, is heating up this year due to many events and special cards. The streamer “Badeschlappen” is trying to succeed at a high level without purchasing FIFA Points – and he is successful!
This is “Badeschlappen”: The FIFA pro “Badeschlappen” is actually named Lukas Hösch and is contracted as an official content creator for 1. FC Nürnberg. Among other things, Hösch has 150,000 viewers on Twitch.
He also uploads videos on YouTube, with a special twist: unlike many other streamers, Hösch completely refrains from using real money in his “Road to Glory” series. He builds his team through smart investments, many SBCs, and of course a lot of playtime at a high level.
“Unfortunately almost standard”
This is what the Badeschlappen team looks like: “I would describe myself as a solid FIFA player who is passionate about it,” Hösch explains in an interview with “BFV“. His goal is to “entertain people with my content and give good tips.”
And there are plenty of good tips for players who want to pursue their FUT career without FIFA Points at Badeschlappen. The streamer shows how to build a strong team even without using real money. The current Badeschlappen eleven is quite impressive:
Top team without money: Neymar, icons, lots of colorful cards – the Badeschlappen squad is a strong team, though it could still be improved in some areas. Badeschlappen tries to earn the necessary money wisely through trading.
One example: In preparation for the Champions Cup taking place in Atlanta this weekend, Badeschlappen stocked up on American players from the transfer market – preferably at rock-bottom prices. For possible thematic SBCs, Badeschlappen is now ready – and if none come, he would simply sell the cheaper acquisitions at a higher price.

Top players not unreachable: “Unfortunately, it has become almost standard that even as a ‘normal casual gamer,’ one invests money in FIFA Ultimate Team to afford the best players,” Hösch explains. “I wanted to take a different path and show my viewers that it is also possible to assemble a strong team without spending huge amounts of money.”
The streamer proves this with hard numbers: Hösch has more than two million coins in his pocket. A dream player like the TOTY version of Kanté, which Hösch really wants, is therefore no longer out of reach.
The object of desire: TOTY Kanté
Reduce “pay-to-win”: With his videos, Hösch wants to point out that it is also possible without FIFA Points. The TOTY event for example showed that purchasing packs can lead to a lot of frustration. Especially younger players are too easily tempted to spend their pocket money on packs:
“Packs certainly add to the appeal of Ultimate Team, because everyone – at least in theory – has a chance at the best players in FIFA. However, I would appreciate it if one could no longer buy FIFA Points and thus reduce the pay-to-win factor.” This regulation has already been implemented in Belgium.
The streamer aims to fulfill his role model function: “Especially in the gaming industry, where many young people are active, one should be aware of this and act accordingly.” Also in FIFA, the tone can be very rough at times: “Many people forget that it is just a game that is primarily meant to be fun.”

The example of “Badeschlappen” shows that it is also possible to be successful in FUT without purchasing FIFA Points. However, it should be noted that Lukas Hösch invests an enormous amount of time and preparation into his FIFA career. The professional is playing at the Weekend League rank Elite 3 – and trading requires time.

This is what more and more fans are asking themselves: Given the approaching end of Season 5, some fans are becoming anxious and wondering when Bungie will finally break the silence.
Normally, new content is presented weeks in advance. However, regarding Season 6 and the next DLC, only a rough outline from the roadmap for 2019 is known so far.
This is what Bungie says: Bungie has officially addressed the fans’ concerns for the first time.
In a conversation with fans on Twitter, Community Manager Cozmo has now reassured that new information about the Season of the Wanderer will be available next week. Fans will not have to wait too long.

In Anthem you collect experience points and level up your pilot. This affects the difficulty and the rarity of the loot.
What is the pilot level? After every activity in Anthem, you earn experience points that increase your pilot’s level. The pilot is your character, the figure controlling one of the four Javelins.
The pilot level should not be confused with the Gear Score, which indicates how powerful your equipment is.
What is the maximum level in Anthem? The current maximum level of your pilot is 30. Depending on the difficulty level you played and the activities you completed alongside the main story of Anthem, you will have reached between level 20 and 25 after the campaign.
You will meet this fine lady in the stronghold “Mine der Tyrannin”.
These features are determined by the pilot level
What is the pilot level good for? The pilot level in Anthem determines how much gear you can equip. As you level up, you unlock additional slots for components. Additionally, the maximum level allows you to play at the highest of the six difficulty levels.
Moreover, the pilot level also affects the rarity level of the loot that you find on your adventures.
Influence on the loot
Anthem has six rarity levels for loot. MMORPG fans will quickly find their way, as Anthem also uses the proven color code for items:
Common (white)
Uncommon (green)
Rare (blue)
Epic (purple)
Masterwork (orange)
Legendary (yellow)
Masterwork items are a powerful reward.
As you level up your pilot, the chance of obtaining items of a higher rarity level also increases. You can obtain the best items once you reach the maximum level of 30:
Pilot Level 1 – 9: Loot up to Uncommon (green)
Pilot Level 10 – 19: Loot up to Rare (blue)
Pilot Level 20 – 29: Loot up to Epic (purple)
Pilot Level 25+: A small chance for loot of Masterwork (orange)
Pilot Level 30: Loot up to Masterwork (orange), as well as a small chance for loot of the highest level Legendary (yellow)
Legendary gear is very rare.
Influence on the difficulty level
Anthem currently has six difficulty levels. At the start of the game, you can select the levels Easy, Normal, and Hard.
However, once you reach the maximum level, you can also play on Grandmaster levels 1 to 3. These levels not only offer a greater challenge but also increase the chance to loot better items.
These rewards are unlocked with an increasing pilot level
As your pilot level increases, you automatically unlock some rewards. Every few levels, you receive a new Javelin or another slot for components.
While you were using the Ranger Javelin in the tutorial, you can choose a suit right after the introduction at level 2. You unlock the slot for a second weapon at level 3.
Level 2 – First Javelin
Level 3 – Slot for a second weapon
Level 4 – First slot for components
Level 5 – First slot for a support skill
Level 6 – Second slot for components
Level 8 – Second Javelin
Level 10 – First slot for consumables
Level 12 – Third slot for components
Level 14 – Fourth slot for components
Level 16 – Third Javelin
Level 18 – Fifth slot for components
Level 20 – Second slot for consumables
Level 23 – Sixth slot for components
Level 26 – Fourth Javelin
Level 30 – Grandmaster difficulty levels

A hacker has gained sad notoriety in Titanfall. He prevents players from finishing their matches. Players are wondering: What is going on in this guy’s head?
This is the situation with “Titanfall”: Currently, the “Titanfall” brand is back in the spotlight. Thanks to the incredible success of Apex Legends, the franchise has resurfaced in the players’ consciousness.
But hardly anyone plays the original Titanfall from 2014 anymore:
Currently, there are 18 players online in Titanfall
In Titanfall 2, there are still 8607
When Titanfall 2 was released, most Titanfall players moved to the acclaimed successor.
This is what the hacker does: As the site PCGamesN points out, a single hacker is causing trouble for the players of Titanfall 1. The case is being discussed on forums like ResetEra or in EA’s forum.
A player explains: It is impossible to finish a match in Titanfall. There is a guy out there who uses a script that sends players back to the desktop.
The amazing thing about this case is: The interesting thing right now is how much attention the incident is getting. On reddit/games, the single hacker ruining the fun for Titanfall players was at one point the biggest topic. The article about him has collected 7600 upvotes and over 700 comments.
People are discussing what must be going through his mind that he wants to ruin the fun for such a small population of players.
It is hard to explain what the motivation behind it is.
People are also discussing that companies like EA cannot maintain support for older online titles indefinitely.
The Titanfall player who brought the case to light seems resigned: “I know it’s stupid of me and everyone tells me I should just play Titanfall 2.” But he always wanted to try Titanfall.
And it seems somehow crazy that a single guy can make a game unplayable that was released by one of the largest publishers ever.
In Fortnite:
The new infantry rifle is not particularly popular. But none other than star player Ninja loves the unpopular rifle and explains why it rocks.
What is the infantry rifle? The new infantry rifle was introduced with update 7.4, and even before release, players were wondering what the rifle was good for. It at least pleased fans of Call of Duty, as it was modeled after the legendary M1 rifle from World War II.
Why does hardly anyone like the infantry rifle? For many players, the infantry rifle is not a useful weapon. It doesn’t deal much damage for some fans. Others criticize that it’s not good for sniping since it lacks a scope. And some others criticize the relatively small magazine of only 8 rounds.
Ninja loves the unpopular rifle
That’s why Ninja defends the infantry rifle: In a stream with friends, they complained about the infantry rifle. But Ninja had a different opinion and could hardly believe how poorly his mates thought of the rifle.
“The infantry rifle is not even close to being bad, what are you talking about? Seriously? It’s not bad in any way! You can shoot so quickly with it. Look, I even say it’s the better AK! You can shoot faster and you’re much more accurate.”

The heavy assault rifle, also known as the AK, is a weapon that allows many Fortnite players to quickly take out opponents at a distance. According to Ninja, the infantry rifle, which deals 40 damage per hit, is much better suited for this job than the heavy assault rifle.
“If you have an elevated position with this thing and know how to shoot it, you’ll just destroy everything!”
According to Ninja, the infantry rifle is better than the heavy assault rifle.
The infantry rifle doesn’t lose damage over distance.
So it’s a good option for skilled shooters in medium to long-range combat.
Since Ninja’s mates didn’t seem convinced, the infantry rifle will likely remain low on the rankings of most Fortnite players.
What do you think of the infantry rifle? Do you agree with Ninja or do you think the weapon is terrible?
In Anthem, a global event called “Giant Task” is currently taking place. What is happening here, what rewards are there, and where are the locations of the named Titans?
The global event “Giant Task” is currently taking place in Anthem.
The description for the world event states: “Four named Titans roam around in the mode “Freeplay”. Defeat them to complete the limited-time challenge.”
Players currently see the announcement for the Giant Task on the start screen.
What needs to be done in the event?
Find and defeat the four named Titans: To complete the challenge, all four Titans need to be killed at least once. It seems irrelevant whether they explode or you deal the final blow. The Titans are scattered across the open-world map.
Here you can find the event description: If you look under Challenges, you can find the quest “Giant Task” under the menu item “Fight”.
How long will the event last? You can see the duration of the event in the event description. According to this, it will end on Monday (February 25th) around 1:00 PM.
Our reader Sarakin sent this picture in the comments under the article.
Where are the locations of the named Titans?
What are these Titans? The Titans are particularly large, powerful, and have a title such as “Titan of Ruin”. The title also hovers above the health bar of the monsters. You need to keep an eye out for these named giants. But be careful, the Titans are stronger than the ordinary ones.
Are the locations of the Titans always the same? Yes. The specified locations for the Titans are always the same. However, they may also appear further east, north, west, or south of the designated points.
We are listing locations here where the Titans have been sighted. You should definitely check these places to find them.
The Titan of Devastation.
Titan of Ruin – near Eddian Tree
The Titan of Ruin was sighted at the Eddian Tree, left of the east gate. In the picture, you can see the spot marked with a white circle.
Titan of Damnation – at Howel’s Tower
You can find the Titan of Damnation above Howel’s Tower. The position is approximately at the green cursor. This Titan has also been seen at the bottom left in the Valley of Tarsis.
Titan of War – at the Emerald Gorge
The Titan of War is located left of the Emerald Gorge, approximately at the green cursor.
The Titan of War was also found at the Monument and at the Mandible.
Titan of Devastation – at The Shrine
The Titan of Devastation was sighted above The Shrine. It also appeared on the eastern track.
What rewards are there?
Do the Titans drop special loot? Our community member Schmile303 reports that he has killed the Titan of Ruin twice on the difficulty level Grandmaster 1. He received no special loot, but Epic Drops.
A special vinyl skin is the reward: You get a “Graphic: Base” – this is a cosmetic item that gives your Javelin a special pattern. The skin can be used on all four Javelins and is shown in the lower image on the Storm Javelin.
This is what you need to do for the skin: Complete the challenge “Giant Task” and defeat all four Titans at least once.
Our reader Gothsta has managed to complete the challenge and shows the skin.
A big thanks to our community members Eleventh Doctor, Madini-Ger, and Gorgobalt who helped find the Titans.
How long does it take to complete the story of Anthem? And after how many hours will you reach the max level?
This is how long the campaign of Anthem takes: It takes approximately 20 to 30 hours to finish the story of Anthem. It really depends on how much you do on the side. This is based on reports from some early players:
Those who focus solely on the main story and want to complete it as quickly as possible will finish the solo campaign relatively quickly, around level 20 after 15 to 20 hours of gameplay.
If you talk to every character in Anthem, complete side quests, or take longer on the grind-heavy tomb quest, your playtime will also increase.
At around 30 hours, most should reach the end of the solo campaign. We also looked into this question for the campaign: Can you play Anthem as a single player?
These can be obtained either in freeplay, through contracts, or raid-like strongholds.
Anthem is a live-service game. This means BioWare plans to develop and expand the game for many years to come. We already know that BioWare wants to introduce new javelins to Anthem.
BioWare wants to shape Anthem like a good Netflix series and also advance the story. This is supposed to happen through certain story events that will change the world of Anthem.
Roadmap shows what will happen until May: BioWare released a detailed update plan for Anthem. It shows that important features like guilds are still coming to the game. Different events are also listed. Things will really get started in Anthem from March.
In the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) there will be a major patch for PC with server downtime on Monday. Zenimax is now urging players to clear their inventory, otherwise, a very long loading screen may occur.
This is the announcement: The community manager of ESO, Kai Schober, warns players: With the patch on Monday for PC, a long loading screen could await them:
this loading screen will last between 5 and 10 minutes at best.
in the worst case, it could extend over several hours, during which players would be stuck at their PC and unable to do anything.
The length of the loading time depends on how many items players have in their inventory and in the bank, and how many attachments are still in the inbox.
Things are brewing.
This is what Zenimax advises: They recommend that players log in before the patch on Monday and clear or at least reduce their inventory and mailbox.
This would help the client and reduce the waiting time.
Schober adds that the critical issue is not large piles of the same items, but a large number of different items.
If someone gets stuck on the loading screen on Monday, they should wait it out. Closing and restarting the client won’t help then. It has to be endured.
Why is this loading screen coming? Schober explains that new code is being implemented for ESO’s database to provide greater flexibility for the growing database.
ESO continues to grow, and apparently, the data volumes are also increasing.
When will the ESO servers undergo maintenance? The server maintenance will take place on February 25th between 9 AM and around 4 PM German time. During this time, The Elder Scrolls Online will not be playable.
This is what’s coming on Monday: Next Monday marks the release of the first DLC for ESO 2019. The Season of the Dragon begins with the DLC “Wrathstone” and the major Update 21 with the race changes.
Players on PS4 and Xbox One will then only join in a few weeks.
In The Division 2, Massive presented the graphics settings for PC in the video in detail. Additionally, you can see a comparison between Ultra and Low settings.
Many graphics settings in The Division 2: At the launch of The Division 2, you will find numerous options for customizing graphics. Especially on PC, you can push some settings to the limit, as long as your machine can handle it.
Graphic settings in the video: NGON has now released a video in which Massive’s Hamish Bode discusses all graphics settings together with Gregor Ehrenstein, a Senior Tech Programmer from The Division 2. In it, you will learn how they affect graphics and what influence they have on performance.

In the graphics menu, you can select preset graphics settings at the top that fit your PC. Ehrenstein recommends using these at the start if you do not want to spend a long time manually dealing with the settings. Usually, one knows roughly whether they have a “Beast Machine” or a less powerful PC at home. You can choose between Low, Medium, High, or Ultra.
Some comparisons between the settings can be seen below.
Shadow settings
Shadow setting on Low:
Shadow setting on High:
The normal shadow settings refer to the shadows whose light source is the sun. The spot shadows refer to the shadows of spotlights as the light source. The “Contact Shadows” option improves shadow quality near objects. The shadows are therefore more detailed as it is calculated whether a pixel is shadowed or not.
Particle details
Particle details on Low:
Particle details on Ultra:
Particle details determine how many particles float through the air and how much they should interact with light and shadow. In the upper video, you can see the particles better than in the pictures.
Volumetric Fog
Volumetric Fog on Low:
Volumetric Fog on High:
The higher the setting, the clearer the light and dark areas in the fog can be seen.
Note: In the video, in motion, you can see the difference more clearly.
Quality of reflections
Quality of reflections on Low:
Quality of reflections on Ultra:
Depth of Field
Depth of Field on:
Depth of Field off:
This allows you to set whether objects that are out of focus are displayed blurred or not. This is intended to mimic the effect of camera lenses.
Object details
Object details Low:
Object details Ultra:
The higher this value, the more details you see at greater distances. The setting “Extra Streaming Distance” is also important, which determines at what distance objects are loaded in detail. A high setting requires a lot of processing power.
Quality of vegetation
This determines the density of the grass. It also affects the shadow quality of the grass. A comparison image was not shown.
In the “Video” settings, you can set Fullscreen, Windowed-Fullscreen, or Windowed Screen. If you have an HDR display, Ehrenstein recommends the Fullscreen mode and not the Windowed-Fullscreen. Both have performance advantages over the Windowed Screen.
Native 4K support is possible.
The Division 2 supports all resolution formats that your graphics card or your monitor supports. Including Ultra-Wide monitors.
You can enable or disable a “reduced latency” option. This reduces input latency but may lead to FPS drops.
You can turn a frame rate limit on and off. If it is off, only your PC’s performance sets the FPS limit.
You can see all graphics settings in the upper video.
If your PC can handle it, you can extract quite a bit of graphical splendor from The Division 2.
The most unsuccessful team of the Overwatch League can finally record its first victory. In their last match against Boston Uprising, the Shanghai Dragons won for the first time since the league began.
The match took place today, February 23 at 4:25 AM Central European Time. The Shanghai Dragons faced off against Boston Uprising and defeated them 3:1, winning the first three maps in a row and securing the victory after the third map. The win even brought some of the attending fans to tears.

What is so special about the victory? The Shanghai Dragons did not achieve a single win in the first season of the Overwatch League. Even since the start of the second season, things have looked bad. The Dragons were thus considered the likely worst team in the league, with 42 consecutive losses.
Their first victory is all the more impressive, as their opponent, Boston Uprising, ended up in third place in the first season and even participated in the final playoffs. Boston Uprising is one of the strongest teams in the league.
Additionally, one of the tanks of the Shanghai Dragons, Young-jin “Gamsu” Noh, previously played for Uprising and recently transferred to the Dragons. With this victory, he has directly avenged his old team – just as Star-Tank Fissure did with London Spitifre and later with the LA Gladiators. Gamsu has reportedly been deeply affected by the trade, as he reveals in an interview.

How did the Dragons manage that? The Shanghai Dragons didn’t really have a secret trick to victory in their match. They often played a very aggressive dive composition, contrary to the currently very popular GOATS meta, which consists of more tanks and supports.
What is particularly noticeable, however, is that the player lineup in matches two to four was changed. In the first round, there were still two tank players on the team, Gamsu and Geguri, with Geguri being replaced by a DPS player in the remaining rounds.
Geguri.
Generally, the victory was more about gameplay skill than about secret hero setups. The roster of the Shanghai Dragons has been almost completely replaced since the first season. With the exception of Diya, it consists entirely of Korean players. You can watch the entire match on Twitch.
How do you feel about the first victory of the “worst team”?
There are already hints of a new hero in Overwatch:
Anthem and Warframe publicly declare their friendship. Fans of both games are touched.
The developers of Warframe have come up with a particularly sweet gesture to welcome Anthem.
This is how warmly the games tweeted at each other:On Twitter, Warframe addresses Anthem with a comic. Here are Warframe’s Chroma and the Javelin Ranger. Chroma congratulates Ranger on the launch. The two then set off together in search of loot.
Anthem’s Twitter responded with: “Did we just become best friends?”
This is special: Anthem and Warframe are often compared. Both Anthem and Warframe have a futuristic setting, a co-op focus, and are played in third person.
Especially the Interceptor Javelin is often referred to as a Warframe because it is designed for speed and plays similarly to a Warframe.
The two games are actually in competition with each other. However, the Warframe developers, Digital Extremes, see it differently:
In the Anthem subreddit, a post about this new friendship receives a total of 4.3K upvotes. In the Warframe subreddit, it even receives a whopping 7.4K upvotes. Both communities feel warm-hearted about the comic. The respective posts can be found in the sources.
This is what the Anthem fans say: Here, one is happy that the developers are so nice to each other. The mood surrounding the post is markedly positive.
DarthRoacho receives a lot of support for the following comment: “Stop being assholes to each other and support one another. […] If gamers could just do that for each other. Usually, gaming has a fantastic, open community willing to help each other solve puzzles, create truly difficult content that some of us could never experience, for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it just brings out the best in people.”
This is what BioWare says: Anthem’s Lead Producer Ben Irving also speaks up: “This is so noble of them. Warframe is a great game (Frost Prime here), I hope our games will both celebrate incredible success.”
This is what the Warframe fans say: There is a similarly positive atmosphere here as over at Anthem. It is said, for example: “Cousin, let’s go loot.”
Robot_hobo wishes BioWare the best: “Digital Extremes might know better than any other developer how hard it is to make this kind of game. I’ve heard flying is fun, and the combat system has potential. I hope BioWare gets the chance to continue shaping their game!”
Hamzavers remembers that the developers of Warframe did something similar when Destiny 2 was released. Here, Warframe’s Excalibur helps the fan favorite Cayde 6 retrieve a weapon.
Despite all the love, the developers of Warframe could not resist throwing a jab at Anthem. We reported on this here:
The Perlu event in Pokémon GO is over, and not only did our author Noah find this event great, but we will tell you why it was one of the best events ever.
Therefore, the prerequisites were poor: Before the limited research with Perlu began, many players had mixed feelings. Last month, Barschwa made negative headlines with its research. Too few Shinys and overly difficult quests were criticized.
This is the conclusion of the Perlu event: Despite all the negative prerequisites, Niantic hit the mark with this event. I would even say that it was one of the best events in Pokémon GO overall.
This is why the Perlu event was so brilliant
That was the first surprise: Against all expectations, there was actually the shiny Perlu in the game. This made the entire event even more exciting and the hunt for Shinys was on.
Shiny Perlu was a surprise in the game.
This is how Niantic improved with Shinys: I was initially afraid that the Shiny of Perlu was as rare as a shiny Barschwa. But that was not the case. In my community, many players quickly found a Shiny, and the atmosphere was overwhelmingly positive.
The Shiny rate for Perlu was significantly increased. A large part of the players who played the full 3 hours and completed some quests were also successful.
This is why the quests were so good: I’m actually a fan of difficult quests that demand something from you, but when it comes to possible Shinys, the quests can also be easier. This was exactly the case.
The field research like “Catch a Krabby or Enton” or “Spin 2 PokéStops” were not only easy to complete but also very diverse. It was simply fun to complete so many quests.
The limited research had event character
This is what I liked best: During the Barschwa event, everything revolved around the field research, and one was glad when they found enough Pokémon to complete them.
Krabby was just one of the possible Shinys on this event day.
The Perlu research consisted not only of the quests but also of a water event that was running simultaneously. Everywhere there were possible Shinys in the wild, and catching them was incredibly fun.
There were not only increased spawns of Krabby, Muschas, and Co. but also their evolutions. I caught Blastoise, Kabutops, and numerous Kingler. These Pokémon not only bring more Stardust but also provide variety in catching.
This bonus was especially nice: If that had been all, these 3 hours would have already been very successful. But there was also double Stardust for water Pokémon. Since the spawns consisted almost exclusively of these monsters, there was even more double Stardust.
This is how it can go on: At this event, one could tell that Niantic listened to the players and visibly improved something. I had a lot of fun and hope that they will repeat such events. I’m definitely in!
There is still the chance for Shiny Latias all week:
In GTA 5 Online, there is a new luxury car available for purchase. The Principe Deveste Eight is surprisingly well received by players, after many other cars were very unpopular.
This week you can get: This week, the Principe Deveste Eight is available for purchase. This sports car is not only incredibly fast, but it is also very popular among many players.
The new car does not have these problems. Additionally, it has many other features that impress. “scarlet_speedster985” states on Reddit: “I bought the new vehicle and it is worth every single penny. Incredible acceleration, lightning fast, pinpoint handling, and cool gullwing doors. It is by far my favorite car.
This is how fast the sports car is: Of all the vehicles on the market, the Principe Deveste Eight is the fifth fastest. It also has good handling and fast acceleration. Thus, the car can easily keep up in street races.
This is how expensive the Principe Deveste Eight is: However, the car is not cheap. You need to pay $1,795,000 to own this vehicle. So saving is in order.
There is a consolation prize: If you can’t afford the car, you can still get something from it. Every player who logs in this week will receive an exclusive T-shirt with the text “Principe”. This way you can at least somewhat experience the feeling of the car.
The bad sports cars upset a YouTuber so much that he started a petition:
A new update has been rolled out for Anthem. The new patch is intended to fix crashes and issues in Stronghold, among other things.
BioWare is working on issues: After the major Day One patch upon the release of Anthem, a new patch was unexpectedly rolled out on February 23. While some freelancers were pleased with the decreased loading times and the resolution of the “infinite loading screens,” other players were still struggling with bugs and crashes.
How large is the patch? The new update raises the version number of Anthem to 1.0.2.01. There is disagreement regarding the size of the update: Many players report an approximate size of 4 GB on PC and Xbox One. Some freelancers are said to have downloaded as much as 11 GB.
What’s included: The patch notes for the new update are quite limited but are said to address some significant bugs. Among other things, fixes are to be made for crashes and a bug in a Stronghold.
The final boss in the Stronghold and the mission “Return to the Heart of Rage” will now appear correctly, even if the freelancer team was wiped before they reached him.
BioWare states that they are investigating further issues reported by the community. Once these can be resolved, additional updates are expected to follow soon.
The developers of Anthem recently published a roadmap with content that players can expect over the next three months. This includes new freeplay events, legendary missions, and guilds that players can create in April.
You can find all further information about the roadmap in this post:
