Original report – What happened? In the evening of April 3rd, Apex Legends released an update. It was supposed to bring some quality of life changes. However, it instead introduced a serious bug into the game.
Players on social media are emotional and demanding a quick resolution to the problem.
This is the big problem: Players report that they suddenly lost all progress after logging into Apex Legends. Everything is gone except for the Apex Coins. One player writes:
Many are now demanding a rollback of the update. They fear that the problems would otherwise persist.
So many players are affected: On Reddit, a megathread has been opened. Over 800 comments came in within half an hour. Hundreds of players are complaining that their entire progress is gone.
What does Respawn say? The Apex Legends team has already reacted on Twitter and explained that they are tracking down the bug.
At about 7:40 PM, they took the servers of Apex Legends offline. Now they are likely actively working on the bug. Therefore, it seems there is an outage in Apex Legends for the players.
The Apex Legends team advises that you do not buy or craft anything until the problem is fixed.

The biggest Twitch streamer, Ninja, has announced that he will no longer play solo rounds in Fortnite until Epic makes some changes to the game.
Why is Ninja boycotting Fortnite? The streamer has become really famous thanks to Fortnite, but now Ninja has had enough of the battle royale shooter.
After losing some standard matches and sitting for a long time in the queue for the new arena mode, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was fed up.
The latest patch 8.20 has changed so much in his eyes that he does not want to play with it anymore. He will focus on other games until Epic fixes something.
This is what Ninja thinks: In his stream, Ninja suddenly stopped playing Fortnite and said: “I am playing something else. If they don’t change anything in these solos, I will not play this game anymore unless I play arena duos or arena solos with reverse.”
This is why he is annoyed: With patch 8.20, Fortnite changed the rules again. This also annoys Ninja. He would like to have the old rules back.
Alternatively, one can still play the arena mode with the old rules, but there is a long wait before starting a match. For Ninja, that is too long.

In the State of the Game for The Division 2, it was announced at what time the Tidal Basin update will go live on April 5th. We summarize the information for you.
When is the update coming? On April 5th, there will be a server maintenance starting at 9:30. It is expected to last for 3 hours, so the servers should be back online by 12:30.
In addition, the developers revealed some more information about the contents of the update. Alongside the already known innovations like World Tier 5 and Gear Sets, an event will also start.

In Pokémon GO, there should actually be bug Pokémon found everywhere now, but numerous players are complaining about too few bug spawns.

Players report on Reddit that Pokémon with weather bonuses are significantly more common than the actual event Pokémon. Many trainers are not noticing anything from the bug event, apart from the new quests and raids.
What players are complaining about: On Reddit , there are numerous posts about the low spawn rate of bug Pokémon. One user “Nawr” writes about the event: “My Nearby list is flooded with Wablu, Rattfratz, and Zigzacks. Great ‘Bug Event’, Niantic. No Raupy in sight.”

In The Division 2 you can not only equip your weapons with skins, but also your armor has a skin slot starting from the blue rarity level. Here you can find the armor colors.
Where can you find the armor colors? The skins can be found in supply crates that are hanging at elevated positions throughout Washington D.C. Usually, they are on trees, but sometimes also on cranes and buildings.

The PC version of Borderlands 3 will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for a while. Only after that could platforms like Steam follow.
What’s new: Borderlands 3 was revealed today, on April 3rd, with further details about the game. Now it’s clear that the release date is, as expected, September 13, 2019. It’s also clear that the PC version will initially only be available in one store.
The PC version of Borderlands 3 will be exclusively available for 6 months in the Epic Games Store.
How long is Borderlands 3 exclusive to Epic? The exclusivity lasts until April 2020. According to a press release from 2K, the shooter will then be available in other digital PC stores. However, they did not specify which stores those will be. Many players in the community are hoping for a Steam release.
Fans anticipated exclusivity: In recent days, fans’ thoughts have become increasingly vocal. Many signs pointed to BL 3 being exclusive to Epic. The leaked trailer already showed the Epic logo.

Empty shelves in the cosmetic shop of Battlefield 5 played a cruel trick on many desperate fans. Many took the empty arsenal as a sign of long-awaited content. But things turned out differently.

Recently, numerous players reported that the arsenal of Battlefield 5 suddenly appeared empty for them. No items were being offered – regardless of the gaming platform.
Players were effectively standing in front of empty shelves. Restarting and even reinstalling did not change anything.
No one knew exactly what this meant, and there was initially no reaction from the developers. However, many interpreted the empty arsenal as a good sign.
Many fans assumed that the armory would finally receive the long-awaited and promised update, bringing new cosmetics. Everyone was waiting eagerly to see what would happen. Were the community’s calls finally heard?
This is what the developers say: After some time, an official statement brought clarity. It was just a bug. The developers confirmed the problem on Twitter and asked affected players for help in the form of gamer tags and further information to determine the cause.
What happens next? Apparently, the problem has been resolved by now, as players have been reporting for several hours that the arsenal is no longer empty.
However, not everyone is happy about that – many are now complaining that the armory is offering the exact same items as before.
The long-awaited arsenal update did not happen. Fans will apparently still have to exercise patience until the desired new content for the in-game shop finally arrives.

After his great career in the eSports scene, this player’s life seems to have taken a hard turn. He is now charged with theft.
Who is it about? Tomoyuki Inui was considered the best Dead or Alive player in the world in 2005. He played under the name katuninken for Japan. At the World Cyber Games 2005 in Singapore, he achieved first place and became world champion in Dead or Alive Ultimate. For this, he received $15,000 in prize money.
In the following years, he continued to play Dead or Alive. As Kotaku reports, he also participated in tournaments sponsored by DoA until 2014 and won there. However, support for Dead or Alive was reduced, even as eSports began to boom during that time.
He is now 33 years old and was recently arrested for theft.
How has the player’s life changed? As various Japanese media report, Tomoyuki Inui is suspected of stealing 2.6 million yen in cash from the living room of an 84-year-old woman in February. This is the equivalent of about 21,000 euros.

The fans were excited because today (04.03.2019) Gearbox was supposed to release new information about Borderlands 3. This is exactly what the developers did just a few minutes ago, revealing when the wild shooter will be released. We have all the information for you.
When is Borderlands 3 coming out? The official date announced on Twitter aligns with the previous leaks and rumors. Borderlands 3 will be released on September 13, 2019, on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, which is less than half a year away.
New trailer introduces the team: Coinciding with the official announcement, a new trailer was also released, which is supposed to give a small first impression of the game. It is, in the broadest sense, a montage of already known game scenes that were released a few days ago. However, a clear focus was placed this time on the characters, the playable heroes, and the adversaries.
Borderlands in the Epic Games Store: The new trailer now also clearly states what many had already feared. In Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 the game mode “Hot Pursuit” is no longer available. Many players are outraged, as the mode was quite popular.
This is the game mode: In the “Hot Pursuit” mode, players could race behind supply drops in style reminiscent of cops and robbers using fast cars and be the quickest to arrive on site. Meanwhile, wild shootouts happened from within the cars.
The mode was available in Blackout, the battle royale mode of Black Ops. But now “Hot Pursuit” is gone, which bothers many players.
Why was the mode removed? Treyarch did not explain this decision, but many players have a theory: The new map “Alcatraz” is to blame.
This map is quite small and probably too small for wild chases. The mode wouldn’t fit there, and the developers want players to try out their new map. This is why fans suspect that “Hot Pursuit” was swiftly removed.
“Alcatraz” has been in the game since April 2nd and offers a completely new playing field. This surprised many players, as they were only expecting a map expansion.

During the Twitch Rivals in Apex Legends, the famous streamer Dr Disrespect took time for the stream’s survey. However, he did not like the result of one of the questions at all.
What was that survey about? During the main stream of the Apex tournament Twitch Legends on April 2nd, viewers were able to answer a total of five questions. These were about the different legends of Apex Legends and more.
One of the questions also addressed the streamers. It was simply posed: “DrDisrespect or Shroud?” These two names were also the only choice available. The Doc took a moment to vote for himself.
In the end, he was clearly behind with about 2000 votes for him versus 8000 votes for Shroud. This apparently frustrated him so much that he responded to the result with a strong bang on the table.
One of his teammates even asked him: “What the hell, everything okay?” To which Dr Disrespect simply replied:

Previously, the two have joked about their performances in Battlefield 5. The outbursts, as seen above, are also part of the role that the Doc plays in his streams. He embodies an extremely competitive player who rarely copes with defeats of any kind.
Shroud, on the other hand, has risen particularly through Apex Legends as the “new face of Twitch”. He is a former CS:GO pro and is nicknamed “human aimbot” because his accuracy seems almost supernatural. He is so good that he sometimes surprises himself.
This is what the tournament was about: The Twitch Rivals took place on April 2nd and was a smaller tournament in Apex Legends with a total prize pool of $150,000, distributed among all participants and calculated based on performances such as victories and kills.
Interestingly, the Doc’s team even defeated Shroud and his friends. Due to the so-called “Swiss system,” the two teams only faced each other once, and Shroud lost.

A new excavation site rewarded players in Fortnite with a huge loot location. There were tons of chests lying around. Players wanted to declare it their new favorite spot, only to get trolled.
What is this new place? On April 2, players found a new excavation site in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It probably came with Patch 8.20 into the game. This is a special place on the Fortnite map where players collaborate in all matches to destroy rocks.
The hit points of the stones change for all players simultaneously. When a stone is destroyed in one match, it is destroyed in every game at the same time.
Quickly, players noticed that this second excavation site needs more time than the first one in the desert biome. Because the stones you are supposed to smash there had significantly more hit points.
Nevertheless, players immediately got to work and swung their harvesting tools. After a few hours, an anchor was discovered there.
This surprised the players: As they gradually smashed the stones there, more and more chests came to light. Players counted 10 or 11 pieces that could be found in the pit. So anyone who arrives quickly has the chance for a lot of loot in one spot.
That saves time and allows for quick gearing up for the endgame. This place was particularly well-liked by players and was quickly considered “op”.
What did Epic do? When the last stone in the excavation site was finally destroyed by the players, the hole suddenly filled with hot lava. In this VOD on YouTube by Jb Mid, you can see the filling process.
Players can hardly believe it. The place where so many chests were found was simply swallowed by the red mass. And with that, the new chests were gone as well. The community considers this a late April Fool’s joke from Epic Games.

The remastered version of the first Borderlands is launching today. We will tell you when it’s happening and what you can expect. What time can you start the download on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam?

After the hand cannon Thorn, Guardians in Destiny 2 are eagerly awaiting the second exotic weapon of Season 6. However, there is still no sign of the Arbalest.
This is what Season 6 brought: In Destiny 2, Season 6 is in full swing. However, most of the planned content has already been released.
Guardians can earn the exotic hand cannon Thorn, tackle Invitations of the Nine and the Loyalty Quest or enjoy themselves in Gambit Prime and Reckoning – the two new modes of Season 6.
Only two events are still pending. But another feature is still missing that fans are eagerly waiting for. The second exotic weapon of Season 6.
This is the weapon in question: We are talking about the Arbalest, the first kinetic linear fusion rifle in Destiny 2.
With its intrinsic perk Compounding Force, this weapon fires projectiles that deal massive damage to enemy elemental shields – and this is despite the weapon being kinetic.
Due to the perk Disruption, enemies become temporarily more vulnerable to kinetic damage when their elemental shield is destroyed with the Arbalest.
This is currently the question that concerns many fans. Because what the weapon looks like and what it can theoretically do is already known. But where is the second exotic weapon of Season 6? In principle, there are only a few possibilities left:
The Arbalest could randomly go live during Season 6: Some fans believe that the weapon could go live without much fanfare and that its quest may simply be hidden behind a time lock. Some even consider it possible this week.
Because there are no major events planned for the current Destiny week. However, in the image of the roadmap, which symbolizes the private matches for Gambit Prime on April 2, a Guardian is carrying the Arbalest. Therefore, some speculate that the weapon could go live this week.
If not, there would still be enough time after the planned events until the start of Season 7 to introduce the Arbalest in order to bring some fresh wind into Destiny 2. Perhaps the weapon is being saved exactly for that purpose.
The Arbalest is coming during Arc Week: Next week at Destiny 2, the first of the two remaining events, Arc Week, is supposed to start.
What the event is and what exactly it entails is still a mystery. Because there are no details about Arc Week – neither official nor leaked or rumored.
Some fans speculate that Arc damage could be significantly increased during this week or that some of the missing Masterwork catalysts could be submitted in this context. However, the Arbalest seems to have little in common with this event at first glance. Because it is a kinetic weapon.
Nevertheless, it is not excluded that a potential quest could start during Arc Week. Next week all Guardians should be wiser.
The Arbalest is available at the Revelry: A week later, on April 16, the last known event of Season 6 – the Revelry – will start. This will run until May 6.
There is still little known about it. The Spring event is said to take place in a revamped Eververse, featuring its own armor sets. The rewards of the event have already been leaked.
Some fans assume that the Arbalest could come with this event. The remaining exotic quest is supposed to be accessible to all players and is not tied to the Annual Pass. And the Revelry event is intended for all players, regardless of additional content for Destiny 2. It would make sense to launch such a quest.

In Dead by Daylight characters learn to speak – at least a few of them. But players are already annoyed.
No more silent characters: In the horror game Dead by Daylight, there is an unwritten law that has been mocked by the community for years. The characters in the game cannot speak; they have no voicelines of their own. Aside from strained breathing sounds or cries of pain, both killers and survivors are mute. That has now changed with patch 2.6.3.
Ash Williams can speak: Since last night (April 2, 2019), players can purchase the DLC character Ash Williams for almost €5. We have already reported about his perks here. Another special feature is that Ash Williams can speak. As the first survivor, he chats away – at least in the game’s lobby. There, every few seconds you can hear one of his voicelines, such as “Groovy”, “Alright” or “Better hide in the tall grass”.
Even “The Plague” could say something: In the previous patch, a killer learned to speak, namely The Plague. She speaks during her Mori animation (that is, the direct killing of players). However, the good lady only babbles in a long-lost language – the words make no sense.
Players react with mixed opinions: Overall, there is a positive sentiment about the character Ash Williams on Reddit. He is quite popular among most players, and especially his various cosmetic items are well received.
However, the fact that Ash Williams can speak annoys many players already. Because he does not speak during matches, but mainly in the lobby. But that time is mostly “boring waiting time,” during which players talk to each other. They do not want Ash to interrupt them. The fluctuating volume (some find it too quiet, others way too loud) does not make things better.
The Decisive Strike perk is becoming more powerful again: The update 2.6.3 also brought a small improvement for survivors. The perk “Decisive Strike” was improved again. After being severely restricted in a previous update and having strict requirements, the developers have now adjusted the stun duration. It increases to five seconds. After one second, survivors have landed on the ground, leaving four seconds for escape. This makes the Decisive Strike powerful again.
