Players have found a quirky NPC in Fallout 76. He follows them and then insults them. After that, he hurries off. This leads to many strange encounters and confused players.
Why are people insulted? Apparently, this is a new feature in Fallout 76, which seems to have found its way into the game alongside the first updates of Wild Appalachia. There are now more insults in the game.
The NPC is a Protectron named “Insult Bot.” When he encounters you in a seemingly random meeting, he prompts you with a brief “Hey, wait a minute” to talk to him.
If he gets close enough to you, he then says: “Target acquired” or “Insult being generated” and starts insulting you. When he finishes, you receive a slip in your inventory stating: “You have been insulted!”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LbRRc4K0JG0
These are the insults the Bot spits out: The Insult Bot has some rather shallow, others quite harsh sayings in store. We have collected some insults from videos and reddit threads for you:
“Hey, human. You have no friends because all your friends and loved ones died in a fiery explosion 35 years ago. Hahahaha. Contact local incineration unit. Peace out, loser.”
“Vault dwellers from the 2070s are calling. They want their Vault suit back.”
“Knock knock. Who’s there? An organic life form with a limited lifespan. Gotcha!”
“Do you want to make Appalachia a better place? Start by throwing an atomic bomb at Vault 76.”
“I heard you were drunk and missed everyone leaving Vault 76. Too bad that didn’t happen when you were supposed to go into the Vault. See you later, loser.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJbIC35Xu4w
The bot occasionally seems to have issues loading his insults and gets stuck in a loop, which is why some players encounter him but do not get insulted.
This is how players react: The Insult Bot seems to be a new star for many players. They enjoy the dark humor and laugh at the insults.
Some players also say they initially felt offended or even publish rather ironically written threads asking for support. Ultimately, however, they find the idea cool.
What do you think of the Insult Bot?
The Fallout 76 community is fortunately not that toxic:
EA Sports changes the Division Rivals system in FIFA 19. You could now play in a higher league and shorten the Weekend League qualification – if your skill rating is right.
This is Division Rivals: Division Rivals is essentially the main mode in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team. Spread across different divisions, you can climb the ranks over the course of a week and earn rewards that are distributed every Thursday.
The division you play in is determined by your skill rating. The higher your skill rating, the better the division you play in. EA Sports has now made some changes in this area.
Players suddenly in higher leagues
What changes in Division Rivals: EA Sports has adjusted the necessary skill rating for promotion within divisions 1 to 6. This means: Instead of the previously required skill rating of 2400, you now only need a value of 1900 to promote to the first division.
The new skill limits for the divisions Source: EA Sports
If you currently find yourself stuck in Division 6 with a rating of 1100 points, you will automatically promote to Division 5. A similar rule applies to the other leagues – however, automatic relegation is not possible.
Weekend League qualification is now faster
What this change means for your rewards: With the adjustment of the skill values, EA Sports aimed to distribute players more evenly across the divisions. As EA emphasizes, most players were stuck between Division 7 and 5. This should now change.
Player distribution across the divisions before and after the changes in comparison Source: EA Sports
This also means that you could now receive better rewards. The differences between the divisions are quite noticeable: For example, if you have completed Division 6 in 1st place, you could choose between the following options:
Option 1: 52,000 coins, 100 FUT Champions points
Option 2: 1 Prime Gold player pack, 1 Mega pack, 1 rare gold pack (tradeable), 100 FUT Champions points
Option 3: Double the amount of packs from Option 2 – however non-tradeable, 100 FUT Champions points
In Division 5, the rewards look similar, but you can grab 58,000 instead of 52,000 coins. In addition, there are double the Jumbo Premium Gold packs. Instead of 100 Champions points, you receive 195.
This is how the Weekend League qualification changes: Importantly, you now need fewer victories in higher leagues to qualify for the Weekend League. Because: You earn more FUT Champs points per game, the higher your division is.
In Division 5, for example, a victory that brings 20 FUT Champions points is only multiplied by a factor of 3.2, making it worth 65 points. In Division 1, however, the factor is 25! If you secure a win in Division 1, it is worth a full 500 points. This means that a quarter of the qualification, which requires 2000 points, is completed with just one victory.
In Division 1, the Weekend League qualification is completed quickly
Since promotions are now significantly easier due to the adjusted point thresholds, many players will likely qualify for FUT Champs faster. Moreover, you could receive better rewards.
And there is another new feature regarding the Weekend League:
Players are worried about this: On the FIFA Subreddit, there is a discussion about whether the adjusted promotion thresholds and automatic promotions make sense. After all, you would now face stronger players with top cards, which would be particularly difficult if you barely managed to stay in your current division.
Mbappe – a top talent
On the other hand, some Division 1 players complain that they now have to face weaker opponents instead of having opponents at their own level.
Skill rating may be decisive: However, these concerns seem unfounded. Matchmaking is more based on the skill value of players than on the division. This means: A player with 1400 points is more likely to encounter an opponent in a similar rating range than a player with 2400 points – regardless of the league. Since the rating has not changed directly, but only the league in which you play with a certain rating, the difficulty of opponents should not noticeably increase.
The perhaps best attack in FUT history now makes its return in FIFA 19:
On March 26, the European Union adopted a reform of copyright law, including the controversial Article 13. The CEO of the streaming platform Twitch is concerned about this. He thinks the reform is poorly crafted and completely unclear.
Who is speaking? It is the CEO of Twitch, Emmet Shear, in an interview with Fortune.
It concerns the EU copyright reform, which will affect many platforms, including Twitch, starting in 2021.
What is Article 13? Article 13 is now called Article 17 in the adopted reform.
This is about ensuring that platform operators regulate the handling of copyrighted content on their platform.
Platform operators are liable for violations by their users.
Critics fear that large platform operators like Twitch would respond with “upload filters” that ban and sort out anything that could violate copyright. These filters could be set so “strictly” that almost everything gets deleted. Some paint a horror scenario of a “censored internet.”
The EU aims to combat content pirates with the new reform.
Completely unclear what Twitch needs to do now
This is what Shear says:
The reform that has been adopted is quite poorly crafted, I think. It is completely unclear what we need to do to comply or what not.
Shear continues to say that he wants to ensure that streamers are not unjustly blocked, for example due to legally protected music playing in the background:
“We will lobby to ensure that the law allows using things under “fair use” in order to experiment and try new things,” says Shear.
Reform not designed for YouTube, Twitch, Reddit
This need is what Shear sees in the reform: Shear knows that there is a need to protect content creators. But it needs to be done right:
Some actually steal original content purely out of profit greed
But there are also companies like Twitch, YouTube, and Reddit that legally use copyrighted material.
Shear says:
“There is a problem with content piracy, but this new law is not made for us.”
Streamers like Shroud and Ninja were essential for the marketing campaign of Apex Legends.
Especially gaming companies rely on companies like Twitch. Electronic Arts relied on Twitch when it came to marketing the new game Apex Legends.
This is what Shear wishes: According to Shear, the legislation needs to ensure:
that content pirates are punished for stealing others’ work
but at the same time, tech companies like Twitch must be able to create video content that reuses copyrighted material within certain limits
Already in December 2018, Shear had written a letter to streamers, drawing their attention to Article 13. He saw it as a danger for streamers to express themselves and earn a living with Twitch.
A new PTR patch for Overwatch makes some changes to heroes, including Junkrat. It alters how he shoots his grenades, affecting the way he is played.
Changes to Junkrat: In the last PTR patch for Overwatch on March 25, the speed and bouncing of Junkrat’s grenades were changed:
the speed of the projectiles was increased from 20 to 25
grenades now bounce less and explode earlier
The adjustments come shortly after a buff for Junkrat. According to the developers, nothing will change about how Junkrat’s grenades behave in flight, but the changes will impact how Junkrat players aim and calculate where to attack.
These are the effects of the change: With the adjustment, Junkrat’s grenades now fly faster and farther, making it easier to hit opponents directly. However, they no longer roll endlessly on the ground.
Prior to the change, the grenade could bounce off surfaces twice, maintaining its momentum before rolling briefly before exploding.
With the new variant, the grenade only bounces off a surface once. When it hits the ground or another surface, it loses all momentum, bounces briefly, and then explodes.
For Junkrat players, this means you need to aim more accurately now. The grenades no longer cover larger areas without precise aiming.
If you’re playing against Junkrat, you can now more accurately determine where a grenade lands and explodes. “Random” grenades shouldn’t be such a big problem anymore.

How the changes are received: Fans are still unsure whether this is a buff, a nerf, or neither. Players see the change mainly as a higher “skill cap” for Junkrat.
As a hero, he remains about equally strong. It will simply be more challenging to aim and play well with him.
What do you think about the change?
Even if Junkrat annoys many, Overwatch is now less toxic:
In Star Wars Battlefront 2 there was an update last week with a huge new game mode. We show you how the mode is received and which new features are particularly appreciated.
That’s why it’s worth taking a look at the game: Star Wars Battlefront 2 received a huge game mode with the new mode “Total Domination” last week.
On Reddit, numerous players reported about the new mode and explained what things they found good and bad. We show you a selection of them.
This is how the mode Total Domination is received
What is “Total Domination”? This game mode is the largest mode in Star Wars Battlefront 2 and is divided into several phases. You first fight on the ground in the ground phase and then in a huge starship during the invasion phase.
The fight in the new mode promises a lot of action
The mode can indeed last longer, as the rounds repeat if the attackers do not win during the invasion phase. The mode promises close battles, strategic approaches, and above all, a lot of action.
What is appreciated about the new mode: Most players celebrate that the Star Wars shooter still brings something new after years on the market.
Particularly well received are:
The conquest phase feels good and is best received by the players
The AI units that were added enhance the gameplay
The map provides enough retreat space but also close combat
The end of the conquest phase is hectic, which adds extra tension here

The ARK: Survival Evolved player and YouTuber H.O.D Gaming posted a video where he showed a long-known exploit from the online game that is still not fixed. Following this, he received a ban that the developers rolled back after an outcry on Reddit.
Why was the YouTuber banned? YouTuber H.O.D Gaming showed in his video that a bug has still not been fixed, which has existed in ARK: Survival Evolved for over a year. After that, he could no longer log into his account.
Studio Wildcard had banned him. When logging in, the message appeared: “You have been globally banned” – that is: “You have been globally banned”.
H.O.D. Gaming demonstrated the exploit on a private server but was banned on the official one.

What exactly did he show? H.O.D Gaming demonstrated the so-called “meshing”. This allows players with certain items like the grappling hook to get underneath the actual map to attack an enemy base undetected. This bug has been known for over a year.
What reaction followed? After the player’s ban, there was a wave of criticism from the community. H.O.D Gaming’s video was not meant to encourage exploiting this exploit, but to alert the developers that this bug is still in the game even after many updates.
This is clearly evident from the video, in which the YouTuber repeatedly explains that this bug urgently needs to be fixed.
However, when the ban occurred, the community criticized the developer studio on Reddit.
worldgate says: “That sounds exactly like Wildcard. An overreaction to something demonstrated on a private server to draw attention to a problem.”
you-mom-gay asks the simple question: “If meshing is such a problem, why don’t they just fix it?”

How did the developers respond? Studio Wildcard has since lifted the ban. The developers apologized. They reacted too quickly, and only upon reviewing the video did they realize that the ban was not justified.
Such videos are in a gray area, which is why the initial reaction was simply to ban quickly. Therefore, it’s better to alert the developers to exploits through regular channels.
When this bug will finally be fixed, the developers of ARK: Survival Evolved did not say.
A former soldier with combat experience reports what bothers him about the combat system of The Division 2 and receives a lot of support for it.
This is how the battles of The Division 2 are received: Numerous players, including our author Sven, have a great time with the battles in The Division 2. Overall, the enemy AI is convincing, keeping many battles exciting and often offering a tough challenge.
However, there is also criticism. Among other things, certain enemy mechanics, unfair spawns, overly precise enemy shots or throws, and sometimes bullet sponge-like enemies in the endgame are criticized.
What a battle-tested war veteran thinks of the fights
Who is it about? Reddit user PsychoFit_nerd claims to be a seasoned war veteran with a lot of real combat experience. He has now written a post on the discussion platform explaining what is going wrong in the fights in The Division 2 and what specifically bothers him.
What does the veteran say about the battles in The Division 2? At first, PsychoFit_nerd emphasized that he does not want to trample on the game at all. He would love The Division 2 above all else and does not demand any nerf or anything similar. And yes, he knows that it is just a game.
What particularly bothers him about the fights is the way some aspects of the cover mechanics work. In his view, this could be easily fixed if certain aspects are considered.
When you go into cover and have an enemy group directly in front of you (at 12 o’clock), everything is still fine. If you want to fight them, it can only be done by looking over the cover. But as soon as one of the opponents attempts to flank you, the system reveals its weaknesses.
If one of the enemies has now positioned himself to the side of you (at 9 o’clock), the cover mechanics force you to stand up while actively aiming and shoot at the flanking enemy in full size. In doing so, you automatically expose yourself to the fire of the enemy group directly. This behaves completely differently in reality and does not make a good impression as a mechanic or animation in the game.
Because in a real firefight, you would react to the flanking enemy from the side out of cover while still protecting yourself from the views and fire of the frontal group. That you are forced to leave cover in the game and thus offer yourself as a target makes no sense at all.
What fans say: On Reddit, the veteran receives a lot of support for his view of the cover system. His post quickly received over 3,000 upvotes and is being actively discussed.
Many share the opinion that the mechanics could be improved here, even if very few really believe that anything will change.
Others emphasize that it is just a game, which cannot possibly depict all aspects of a real firefight, and that it already implements quite well as a looter-shooter for its standards.
What do you think of his critique? Would a corresponding adjustment improve the gaming experience? After all, games from the same company like Ghost Recon Wildlands already show what kinds of animations and cover mechanics are possible.

In March, everything in the MMORPG Ashes of Creation revolves around the Node system. Meanwhile, more has been revealed about diminishing and destroying a Node.
The more people gain experience points for a Node, the larger its influence area becomes and the higher its development level rises. Small tent camps can develop into a massive city or even a metropolis.
However, Nodes do not remain at such a high level forever.
Do Nodes lose levels? In order for a Node to maintain its level, experience points must be collected daily. These are based on the current level of the Node. Every activity within the Node’s influence area grants it experience.
If you collect more than the required daily experience, the Node’s level increases. If you collect less, it falls into deficit. If this deficit is not resolved soon, the Node loses a level.
But in addition to de-leveling, Nodes can also be weakened by other players.
Destroying Nodes in Ashes of Creation
The fastest way to reduce a Node’s level is a direct attack by other players.
How does an attack on the Node begin? From the third level of a Node, it can be attacked. The attacking faction must collect an item that becomes harder to obtain if the Node being attacked has a high level.
Once the item has been acquired, it can be activated. A countdown begins, which is visible to all players in the region. When the countdown expires, the attack begins.
How does the attack proceed? Nodes can be attacked and defended by players with siege weapons, similar to the siege of a fortress.
However, the battles over a Node will be significantly smaller. After all, a fortress controls 20% of the game world, while a city is just one of 103 Nodes.
What happens at the end of the battle? If the attack is successful, the Node is reset to level 0. All citizens of the city lose their rights and their houses as the system saves the content and construction as blueprints.
Additionally, the Node loses its vassal Nodes. These are smaller cities that were within the influence area of the larger Node. This also happens if the Node loses levels.
The release date for Ashes of Creation is also not yet set. However, we know that it won’t be coming in 2019:
Last week, a man from Lithuania was charged. He is accused of crimes such as wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, and money laundering.
What is this about? Evaldas Rimasauskas from Lithuania admitted to stealing approximately 99 million dollars from Facebook and 23 million dollars from Google between 2013 and 2015.
What is the bizarre part of the story? The case drew particular attention because the execution of the thefts could not have been more blunt. The man simply asked for the money and got it.
Well, he didn’t just call and say, “Hello, I would like several million dollars, thank you.” He approached it a bit more cleverly.
This is how the fraud worked: He sent the companies invoices for items they had never purchased along with his partners.
Along with these invoices, he simultaneously sent contracts and letters. Rimasauskas crafted them in such a way that they appeared to be signed and confirmed by representatives of Facebook and Google. He also forged emails to make them look as if they were signed by executives from Facebook and Google.
Rimasauskas registered a company in Latvia under the same name as the Taiwanese hardware manufacturer Quanta Computer to receive the companies’ transfers. It seems that neither Google nor Facebook thoroughly checked whether the invoices were genuine. They probably just paid. This way, Rimasauskas claimed about 122 million dollars.
How was the scam uncovered?IGN reports that the man ultimately caught Google’s attention and was extradited to the USA in 2017. Just recently, he stood before a court. Now he faces a sentence of up to 30 years in prison. The verdict is expected on July 29. Rimasauskas has reportedly already returned 50 million dollars of his loot.

After long preparation and development, the Witcher card game GWENT is getting a mobile version. You will be able to play it on iOS devices in 2019, and later also on Android.
It has been confirmed: In an official announcement on the GWENT homepage, the developers wrote on March 27 that Gwent will appear for iPhones “later this year.” The Game Director of Gwent, Jason Slama, says:
We have long and hard prepared to adapt GWENT for smartphones. In addition to beautiful visuals, we have tailored much of our technology to support mobile devices, including GOG Galaxy, which supports GWENT’s multiplayer.
I believe our vision for GWENT on smartphones combines the best we have to offer in terms of graphics and gameplay.
A date for the iOS version has not yet been announced. Although an Android version is planned, there is also no specific date for that.
Can I transfer my progress from PC? There has been no comment on this yet. More details about the mobile version are expected later in the year.

What is GWENT? GWENT is a card game that many RPG fans probably know from the famous and popular Witcher series. In The Witcher 3, players can challenge NPCs to the card game GWENT and win rewards.
In Gwent, you build decks from various factions with different leaders, which you can also encounter in the Witcher works:
Monsters
Scoia’tael
Nilfgaard
Skellige
Northern Realms
Gwent was also played in Witcher 3
You play cards on different rows of the game board. The cards have various values. There are also various abilities of the cards and the leaders. The goal is to have more points than the opponent at the end of a round. Whoever wins two out of three rounds of the game wins.
GWENT was already announced as a standalone game at E3 2016. In 2017 it entered the alpha and beta phases and was officially released in October 2018.
On March 28, the first official expansion, Crimson Curse, will be released, introducing several new leaders and more than 100 new cards to the game.
However, the game seems to be doing quite well now. According to the statistics website SullyGnome, thousands of viewers regularly watch streamers on Twitch as they play GWENT.
Will you play GWENT mobile?

The latest patch for Anthem brought, alongside new content, two problems concerning loot. A hotfix has now been deployed to the servers, but players are calling for more testing before updates.
Bosses in Strongholds dropped less loot after the patch than before
Teammates could pick up each other’s loot
Especially the loot in the Strongholds left freelancers confused. Patch 1.04 was supposed to ensure that the end bosses in the Strongholds would bring players more loot. In addition to the guaranteed Masterwork loot that the boss normally drops, there should have been additional loot that could also be Masterwork or even Legendary.
A bug caused the end bosses in Strongholds to have less loot. The nasty monitor probably enjoyed that.
A bug removed the guaranteed Masterwork item from the bosses.
Hotfix has been deployed: BioWare has responded and last night (March 27), a hotfix has already been deployed to the servers to address the two bugs. Since this is a server-side fix, you do not need to download a patch for the bug fix.
As the developers state, it may take longer in some regions or on some servers for the changes to be visible. However, the fix should now be live on all servers.
Many errors would only appear during live operation, says Brenon Holmes.
This is what the players say: Players in the Anthem subreddit are grateful that BioWare quickly addressed the issue. However, there are also questions about why bugs keep creeping into Anthem updates and whether BioWare doesn’t test the patches beforehand.
The Technical Design Director Brenon Holmes explained on Reddit that while the developers do test the patches, most errors are only visible during live operations. Fewer problems would occur if only one player was on a server. However, with millions of players on tens of thousands of servers, the situation looks quite different.
Players also keep mentioning the loot from Diablo, which they believe Anthem should take as an example. The Lead Designer of Diablo has already given some tips on how BioWare should change the game:
Is there still a chance for Everquest Next? Daybreak Games discussed why the MMORPG was canceled and even holds out hope that we might still be able to play it someday.
Why did Everquest Next fail? The MMORPG had a very ambitious goal. With the voxel engine, the game world was supposed to change constantly. Players were to be able to dig caves and build structures themselves.
Furthermore, Everquest Next was also planned as a classic online role-playing game with quests, battles against monsters, group play, and more. The aim was to return to the roots but package the MMORPG in a new, technically interesting guise.
According to Daybreak Game Director Holly Longdale, the game ultimately failed due to technical hurdles. It was technically unfeasible for players to alter the entire world while they still wanted to complete quests. The entire concept collapsed under its own weight.
Everquest Next was canceled for technical reasons.
What is Everquest anyway?
Daybreak had to rethink: After the project’s demise, the team considered what made Everquest so special. They concluded that an Everquest Next should not consist of a world that players could completely alter.
Instead, a new Everquest should focus on what made the series great and what players have enjoyed so far.
So what’s the situation with Everquest Next now? Holly Longdale doesn’t want to announce anything concrete but explains that a possible new Everquest will revolve around quests. Team play should be in the foreground, with roles that each player takes on in these teams.
According to Holly Longdale, this is the core of an Everquest game. Experiencing adventures together with friends and making a contribution in the role you take on.
A new MMORPG would build on the 20 years of experience and background that the series has. That is what a new Everquest would be.
What are the chances for this game? As Holly Longdale explains how she envisions a new Everquest, it seems that something is indeed in the works. Daybreak has thought a lot about it and surely not without reason. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
Why should players remain skeptical? Daybreak currently has few successes to show. The online shooter H1Z1 could not maintain its market position and whether the relaunch as Z1: Battle Royale can engage players in the long term is questionable. After all, it has already faced criticism.
Therefore, it is uncertain whether Daybreak can create a new Everquest. And if so, what role will microtransactions play? Accordingly, the reactions on Reddit are:
Pairadockcickle states, “Everquest Next was canceled because SOE was sold to Daybreak, which is basically a Russian trading company. Companies are being milked, employees laid off, and it’s all about the money. That’s why all Daybreak games revolve around microtransactions.”
Many of the former developers are already working on another title in development:
In Anthem, items have different rarity levels. The two highest levels are Masterwork and Legendary. You can find a list of all known weapons and components for these rarities here.
What you need to know: In Anthem, there are 6 different rarity levels. They differ from each other through their colors and inscriptions.
You can find inscriptions in the window below each item. They grant your Javelin various bonuses and/or additional effects. The number of additional bonuses depends on the respective rarity level.
Masterwork and Legendary items typically have a unique special effect that drastically increases the item’s effectiveness. This is determined by the inscription.
These rarity levels exist:

What does the list show? All known Masterwork and Legendary items, along with their respective special effects. Among them, you will find various Javelin abilities and weapons, as well as a variety of specific components.
Please note regarding the list: Not all Masterwork items have unique additional effects; some of them are simply stronger versions of already existing items. These will not be listed here.
Furthermore, there are currently no Masterwork versions for support abilities in Anthem.
The images of the items are still in English and will be replaced by German ones as soon as we have the corresponding screenshots.
Note: Some descriptions require more precise wording. These will be updated as soon as the respective item has been found in the game.

Since Patch 8.20, old rules are back in Fortnite. This makes the game slower. This annoys many players because especially collecting materials now takes significantly longer.
Players will no longer be rewarded for aggressive playstyles, and farming materials takes much longer.
Many players, including numerous professionals, are annoyed by the update. They have gotten used to the new rules and now have to adjust again.
This problem exists with the new rules
These rules have been changed: In Patch 7.40 about 6 weeks ago, there was a major change in the game. However, this rule change has now been revoked. Here is what’s new:
There are no health points and shield points anymore after a kill
The building materials dropped after a kill are no longer a maximum of 50/50/50
Harvesting now yields 40% less materials
The material limit is now back to 999
Building in Fortnite might become harder again with less materials
What does it mean for players? If you play particularly aggressively, you will no longer be truly rewarded for it.
It had been worthwhile in recent weeks if you made more kills, as you received more health for it.
Additionally, you now have to gather significantly more materials again, as there are significantly fewer resources from harvesting.
How does Epic explain this step? In the patch notes for Update 8.20, Epic explains this change as follows and refers to the changes from Patch 7.40: “We believe that these changes have led to an extremely aggressive playstyle, pushing other strategies to the background.” This is precisely why they have reversed it.
With the new rules, combat will be something quite different
What do players say? Especially the few materials you now get annoy “normal” players. It is said on Reddit: “I can understand the health point change per kill, but do the majority of normal players really want to spend +40% of their time chopping down trees and hitting rocks? Why on earth should they increase the maximum material and decrease material gain?!”
I understand the health changes, but reversing these material changes? Just dumb. Collecting materials will become so damn boring again,” says StellarSkadi on Reddit.
Ninja says: Change is for the silent majority of casuals
Are there also positive voices? Some players think the change is correct and understand Epic’s point of view.
Streamer Ninja states that especially casual players neither complain on Twitter nor Reddit, but simply accept the new update quietly and happily:
Fortnite streamer Ninja sees it all rather positively
You know who won’t be tweeting today? The dozens of millions, if not hundreds of millions of casual players who don’t care about social media and don’t have followers. Those who might have hated the last updates, but we will never know, because they don’t post it online, they don’t post on Reddit.
The system software update 6.51 is now available for download and installation for your PS4. Here are the patch notes in English and the download size.
If you want to play online on your PS4 tonight, you must first download an update:
The update is version number 6.51
It is 463.8 MB in size.
Only after you have downloaded and installed this update can you use the online features of the PS4 again.
Keep in mind that the installation process may take a few minutes. Even with fast internet connections, this update will keep you from gaming for a while. If possible, start the installation as soon as you get home to avoid unnecessary waiting times – unless it performs the downloads automatically.
What’s changing today? Patch notes for 6.51
These are the patch notes in English:
The system software update improves system performance
This means that Sony is only tweaking a bit of the performance and stability of your console. No new features are coming today. Such pure performance updates are regularly rolled out by Sony.
However, in the past, there have been occasional smaller changes that were not listed in the patch notes. For example, icons in the menu were changed. If you discover further changes, you can write them here in the comments.
Until you have installed the update, here are some exciting articles to browse:
In The Division 2, the servers are down today, March 28th. Massive is performing maintenance. Update 1.04 is coming, which fixes several issues. All info about the server status.
Massive is maintaining the server infrastructure of The Division 2 today. This is a scheduled server downtime. A client patch is coming that will fix some annoyances.
The important times today, March 28th:
At 9:30 AM, the servers for PS4, Xbox One, and PC will be shut down. You can no longer log in. If you are still in the game, you will be kicked.
Around 12:30 PM, the servers should be back online. Massive is expecting a three-hour server downtime.
During the maintenance, an update will be made available. It carries the version number 1.04 and is about 700 MB in size. Today, Massive can deploy a client and server patch – so quite a few issues can be fixed.
The currently most important Division news has finally been shared by the developers:
These changes are coming: The complete patch notes are now known. Here are the highlights:
The skill bug will be permanently fixed. This caused skills to self-destruct immediately after activation. The majority of the bug’s issues could be fixed server-side during a previous maintenance. With today’s client patch, this problem should be completely in the past.
Frame rate drops will be addressed. This performance issue cannot be completely eliminated today, but the situation should improve significantly.
The scaling in cooperative activities will be fixed and adjusted. When playing with agents who had significantly higher or lower gear scores, there were scaling issues with the armor values. Now the player experience in co-op should be better for everyone.
Some headsets experienced audio problems. That will also be fixed.
Additionally, the color of the nametag for clan members will be changed. It was previously the same as that of elite enemies.
A problem with clan XP will be resolved.
Bugs in the user interface will be fixed.
When donating a weapon with a weapon mod, the mod sometimes disappeared from the inventory. That will be fixed.
Daily and weekly missions should now reset properly for offline players.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 introduces new microtransactions, once again drawing the anger of many fans. The focus of the criticism: a new melee weapon. What’s going on?
This is the weapon in question: Recently, Black Ops 4 received update 1.16. As part of this update, there were numerous changes for Blackout, a new Zombies experience, and the Barebones mode for multiplayer, where there are no specialists.
A new melee weapon was also introduced – the shotgun-shell-loaded Hammer “Home Wrecker”, which had been leaked some time ago. This can be used in Blackout and in the traditional multiplayer mode and was recently prominently introduced by Treyarch as a weapon that would turn your enemies into bloody pulp.
Many fans were excited and looking forward to the weapon. However, there is unfortunately a catch.
How to get this new melee weapon? The weapon is now in the game, but it can only be obtained from one source – the Triple Play Bundle in the Black Market. And this bundle comes at a hefty price: 2,800 CoD points or equivalently 28€.
While the bundle contains other items, anyone who wants the weapon will have to pay the full price. For many fans who just wanted the Hammer, this is a bitter disappointment.
The Triple Play Bundle includes
the Hammer
a weapon crate with a guaranteed MKII weapon from the reserves
10 reserve crates
10 ranks (rank-ups)
This is what the fans say: Community reactions on Reddit are quite pronounced. The discussion platform is full of posts where fans vent about the “30$ Hammer” or make jokes about it. The business policy including microtransactions has been under fire for quite some time. This new bundle with its exclusive weapon is currently just adding fuel to the fire.

Many fans emphasize that Black Ops 4 now has more and even worse microtransactions than most free-to-play games. And this, mind you, as a full-price title with a paid season pass.
Binding a weapon, for many the highlight of the package, to a $30 bundle only underscores this. Some players point out that this is now half the price of Black Ops 4 itself. Even a real hammer would be cheaper, some humorously noted.
In short: In the eyes of many fans, Black Ops 4 has made another absolute no-go with the $30 Hammer. It will be interesting to see if or how Treyarch responds to the massive criticism. So far, there has been no reaction from the developers.
Co-founder of “Call of Duty” developer Sledgehammer Games, Michael Condrey, has also commented on this matter. He specifically addressed the Triple Play Bundle on Twitter.

$30 for a melee weapon? That would never have happened under his leadership, Condrey said. For his clear stance, he received a lot of support from fans.

The Interceptor is the most acrobatic Javelin in Anthem. With this endgame build, you achieve the optimal mix of offense and defense.Through special effects, you can replenish your shield at any time.
That’s why we recommend this build: With this balanced composition, we use the agility of the Interceptor in tandem with various temporary damage bonuses. The abilities and weapons provide not only offensive but also defensive options.
Who is this build suitable for? For skilled Interceptor pilots who want to stay in the fray for as long as possible and defeat every target in close combat without neglecting their defense.
Equipment
These are the abilities we use:
Attack system: Serpent’s Veil (Poison Bomb)
Hit system: Sanadeen’s Rest (Plasma Star)
Enhancement system: Battle Cry
This is what the abilities do:
Serpent’s Veil (Primer): Improved Poison Bomb. Increases all acid damage by 100% for 10 seconds on melee hits.
Our Primer – Serpent’s Veil.
Sanadeen’s Rest: Improved Plasma Star. Weak point hits instantly restore 35% of the shield system.
Sanadeen’s Rest is the throwing star for this build.
Battle Cry: Frees you and your allies from all negative status effects.
What can this weapon do? The Endless Battle is the improved version of the “Fulcrum”. This fully automatic pistol has a high rate of fire and moderate impact force.
This submachine gun enhances your weapons and your melee when you hit enemies at close range.
That’s why this weapon fits the build: The added effect of this weapon greatly enriches the melee-oriented playstyle of the Interceptor. Through “Wrath of the Gladiator”, your gear will be enhanced by 110% most of the time, as long as you stay close enough to your enemies.
Luminous Fortress
What can this weapon do? The Luminous Fortress is the improved version of the “Constrainer”. When you hold down the trigger of this shotgun, the shot cone shrinks and the spread becomes more compact.
The Luminous Fortress not only has a nice red paint job, but also a unique firing mechanic.
That’s why this weapon fits the build: Due to the added effect of this weapon, the Luminous Fortress is ideal as a defensive protection option. Since this weapon reflects more of a secondary tool in this build, it is still helpful for quickly re-engaging in combat. The important thing is only that you land 8 shots of one round. If you manage this, your shield system will be immediately charged by 35%.
How to play this build
Why is this build good in endgame? Thanks to the components, the melee attack of the Interceptor gains important effects and damage bonuses, allowing you to deal well even at the Grandmaster levels. Your main focus should be to integrate Endless Battle into your playstyle as often as possible and to use your enhanced Plasma Stars wisely.
A stylish Interceptor Javelin with a neon green hexagon pattern
This is the strategy: Thanks to your components, you gain certain advantages when using your dodge maneuvers. Your weapon, Endless Battle, gives you enough damage bonuses to stay in the thick of things. It’s up to you to use the Interceptor’s dodge maneuvers as often as possible and to link your abilities wisely while keeping a good eye on your buffs.
Never jump into close combat without first throwing the Poison Bomb (Serpent’s Veil) in. This ability is a Primer and gives you an acid aura after a successful combo attack, weakening surrounding enemies and causing damage over time.
The effective radius of the Poison Bomb: not huge, but sufficient
The Poison Bomb is an ideal skill to weaken enemies for you and your team, as it has a good effective range and increases the incoming damage on enemies. Acid proves to be, compared to other elements, the simplest method to consistently prepare a boss foe for combos. Additionally, the added effect of Serpent’s Veil makes the Poison Bomb even more effective through melee hits. So use this ability as often as possible.
The Plasma Stars (Sanadeen’s Rest) give you a decisive advantage if you can hit precisely. Furthermore, you receive a temporary damage buff if you threw your Poison Bomb in advance. Quick hit sequences further increase the damage.
On a successful weak point hit, the Plasma Stars refill 35% of your shield system, allowing you to stay longer on the battlefield without having to take cover and wait for your shield system to recharge. If you hit 3 out of 4 Plasma Stars on enemy weak points, your shield will already be nearly full.
Even the oversized vermin have their weak points.
If that is not enough, you can switch to your shotgun, Luminous Fortress, and shoot nearby enemies. As long as the 8 shots hit, you will instantly receive 35% shield recharge for each shot. This way, you can always maintain your shield with clever dodging maneuvers without ever having to retreat from the battle.
Quick tip: When the shield system starts to regenerate, you should dodge immediately. With each dodge maneuver, you gain a small portion of shield capacity. However, this only works after the shield indicator has started to recharge.
Your armor doesn’t regenerate on its own, but if you diligently cut through enemies with your melee, you should often pick up one or two repair kits.
Acid weakens even boss opponents.
Negative status effects like burning or electricity can be removed immediately with your enhancement system Battle Cry. These are particularly dangerous as they can hinder your shield recharge and make you more vulnerable to damage.
These are the effects of the components:
Conductive Matrix (1): Increases electric damage, electric resistance, and reduces the cooldown of abilities by 20%. Melee hits trigger an electric explosion with a 2-second cooldown.
Path of Speed (2): Increases attack system damage by 5%. A hit with the attack system increases the hit system damage by 60% for 10 seconds.
Path of Adaptation (3): Increases acid damage, acid resistance, and oxygen capacity by 20% each. A short ability hit sequence (2) increases all damage output by 30% for 10 seconds.
Path of Determination (4): Increases melee damage by 10%. Dodging increases melee damage by 40% for 10 seconds.
Transient Talisman (5): Increases weapon damage by 25%.
Dodging three times refills the equipped weapon magazine.
Revenge Matrix (6): Increases all damage output by 50% and reduces received damage by 25%. At low armor, received damage is reduced by 50% for 10 seconds.
What the components do in the build
These are solely masterful components. They give you passive shield and armor bonuses so you can survive in the endgame as long as possible.
A bit worn but still battle-ready: The Interceptor in its original color scheme.
This is what the components bring during gameplay:
Through the added effect of Conductive Matrix (1), enemies with a shield system become an easy challenge. The electric explosion dispatches shields in no time while keeping the enemy permanently stunned in “stunlock”. Additionally, you receive a nice reduction for all your cooldowns due to this component.
With Path of Speed (2), your Plasma Stars become significantly more effective for a short time, rewarding fast ability chains. A short hit sequence increases damage by Path of Adaptation (3) by another 30%. Moreover, the acid effect of your Poison Bomb becomes even more potent.
Path of Determination (4) and Transient Talisman (5) give you extremely good effects after using your dodge maneuvers. Thanks to the latter component, you will never have to wait for annoying reload times again. The designation of your weapon, Endless Battle, gains a whole new meaning and becomes far more effective. If you do everything right, you might even dance a ballet of death.
The Revenge Matrix (6) significantly increases your total damage at the cost of your defense. However, if you have got the hang of using Sanadeen’s Rest and Luminous Fortress, this should not pose a major deficit for you.
This build is suited for adrenaline junkies among the Interceptors.
Inscription: What to watch out for
Inscriptions are equipment properties that give your Javelin or item decisive advantages. You will find them under every item with a rarity level of Common or higher.
The Storm Javelin specializes in Anthem in keeping enemies at bay from the air. Here we show you a setup of special weapons and abilities that allow you to deal efficiently as a Storm Sniper in the endgame.
That’s why we recommend this build: With this setup, you can practically spam your abilities. Your detonator is particularly strong. With your weapons, you are prepared for any situation and can take down almost any opponent with a precise shot.
Who is this build suited for? For Storm pilots who are accurate shooters and don’t want long cooldowns. This build is effective for solo players as well as in teams.
Equipment
These are the abilities we use:
Detonator: Eternal Reflection (Thunderstrike)
Primer: Chaotic Rime (Frost Shard)
Support: Wind Wall
Here’s what the abilities do:
Eternal Reflection (Detonator): Enhanced Thunderstrike. While hovering, all electrical damage is increased by 60%.
The Eternal Reflection makes the Thunderstrike significantly deadlier.
Chaotic Rime (Primer): Enhanced Frost Shard. After an enemy is frozen, the damage of the detonator increases by 125% for 20 seconds.
With the Chaotic Rime, you can fire unlimited frost shards.
Wind Wall: Creates a wall of wind that deflects enemy projectiles.
These weapons fit best with this build: The sniper rifle “Truth of Tarsis” and the heavy pistol “Avenging Herald”.
Truth of Tarsis
What can this weapon do? The Truth of Tarsis is the improved version of the “Devastator”. This weapon has only one shot in the magazine, which explodes upon impact and deals high damage. Before firing, you must first charge the shot briefly.
The Truth of Tarsis, a sniper rifle with decent “bang”.
That’s why this weapon fits the build: With the additional effect, you can trigger combo attacks with this weapon. Because you can freeze your enemies anytime with the primer, this weapon is excellent for hitting the weak points of stationary enemies and detonating them.
Avenging Herald
What can the weapon do? The Avenging Herald is the improved version of the “Impact Strike”. This heavy pistol has good impact force and deals enormous damage on precision hits.
Famous and infamous: The Avenging Herald is a popular choice among Storm pilots.
That’s why this weapon fits the build: The additional effect of this weapon gives you 200% more weapon damage while hovering. Since you remain in hover mode all the time with the Storm, this weapon is optimal for taking down enemies from close to medium range with just a few shots.
Why is this build good in endgame? By combining the various additional effects of the components and abilities, you deal good damage with your seals even in the Grandmaster difficulty levels. With the combination of Chaotic Rime and your strong weapons, you can quickly incapacitate enemies as long as you are precise.
A Storm Javelin in an aerial battle against the “Wyvern”.
This is the procedure: With your Primer, you can constantly fire small icicles at your enemies, freezing any enemy of your choice. After that, you can either detonate the frozen enemy with a massive Thunderstrike (Eternal Reflection) or use the sniper rifle for that.
If you trigger a combo attack with the Truth of Tarsis, your elemental damage is enhanced for a short time afterward. So it’s advisable to first perform a combo attack with the weapon and then eliminate the survivors with the detonator.
You can repeatedly apply this cycle and make the most out of the Eternal Reflection. If you have difficulties with the charging time of the Truth of Tarsis because you are being hit by enemy fire, you can activate your Support seal and use the Wind Wall to secure a safe firing position for a short time.
The Storm’s Wind Wall is well-suited to shield chokepoints and revive fallen teammates.
Although the Wind Wall holds only a few seconds at higher levels, it should give you enough time to at least score a well-aimed shot with your explosive sniper rifle.
If an enemy gets too close, it’s best to switch to the Avenging Herald. If it’s an armored opponent, you can freeze him with your Primer and finish him off with a few precision shots while hovering. If it’s an enemy with a shield system, don’t hesitate to use your Thunderstrike for that. Once the shield is down, you can still trigger a combo attack with the Truth of Tarsis.
These are the effects of the components:
Winter Amulet (1): Increases ice damage and enhances ice effects by 5% each. Inflicting ice damage increases weapon damage by 30% for 20 seconds.
Book of Precision (2): Increases electrical damage and enhances electrical effects by 5% each. Defeating an enemy increases elemental damage by 40% for 10 seconds.
Mark of the Reckless (3): Increases elemental damage by 35% and decreases physical damage by -35%. Breaking a shield instantly reloads all equipment.
Curse of the Gunslinger (4): Increases ability recharge rate by 50% and decreases ability damage by 20%. Hovering increases all weak point damage by 60%.
Curse of Wrath (5): Increases ability damage by 50% and decreases ability recharge rate by 20%. Triggering a combo causes a large electrical explosion.
Mark of the Student (6): Increases combo chain maximum by 2. Hitting an enemy with the detonator increases the damage of the primer for 10 seconds by 60%.
What the components do in the build
These are exclusively masterful components. They provide you with passive shield and armor bonuses that allow you to survive longer in the endgame battles.
The Storm’s seals can encompass many different elements.
Here’s what the components bring during play:
The Winter Amulet (1) and the Book of Precision (2) are the core of this build. The former gives your weapons a damage bonus after you have used the Chaotic Rime. If you defeat an enemy with your weapons afterward, the damage of Eternal Reflection is increased for a short time.
Due to the intrinsic additional effect of Eternal Reflection, you achieve a total of 100% increased damage with this ability.
Mark of the Reckless (3) increases the elemental damage of your two seals and your ultimate ability at the cost of physical damage. Although this negatively affects your weapons, the temporary damage boost from Winter Amulet (1) compensates for this deficit.
The Curse of the Gunslinger (4) and the Curse of Wrath (5) give you in combination 30% more ability damage and 30% faster recharge. The additional effect of the former component also massively supports the effectiveness of your weapons, as long as you can hit your enemies’ weak points.
Mark of the Student (6) increases the effectiveness of the Storm’s passive ability, namely combo chaining and spreading. This should also positively affect the combo capability of the Truth of Tarsis.
Inscription: What you should pay attention to
