On April 2, there will be a split of the European data center in Final Fantasy XIV into two new centers. We have compiled an overview of the most important information as well as answers to frequently asked questions for you.
What is happening in FFXIV? Currently, there is only one data center in FFXIV located in Europe: Chaos. This is set to change in the near future.
To prevent overcrowding of the data center and to reduce loading times and lags, the existing European servers will be split into two data centers: Chaos and Light.
The new distribution of the servers will look as follows:
When will the split occur? Before the launch of the new data centers, there will be a 24-hour server maintenance.
It starts on April 1 at 11 AM and is expected to end the next day at 12 PM noon. Keep in mind that the maintenance could be delayed or completed early.
All owners of an active FFXIV account will receive one day of game time as compensation.
What does the server separation mean for me? Due to the separation of the servers into different data centers, players in these centers will no longer be able to play together in content and party searches.
For example: A character from the Moogle server will no longer be able to play or talk in-game with a character from the Odin server.
Can I switch to another server? Yes, you will be able to switch for free between servers and data centers from April 3 to April 17.
However, keep in mind that transferring to congested servers will still not be possible. Although there are currently no locked servers, this could change at short notice.
The usual restrictions regarding server switching will not apply. You can:
Take all your money with you. There is only a limit of 999,999,999 Gil.
If you have to give up your house during the switch, you will be refunded all the money. And an additional three million as compensation for furniture.
Apartments will be refunded with 500,000 Gil and an additional 500,000 Gil for furniture.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Server Separation
What happens to my/our house? Nothing. If you stay on your server during the separation and do not go anywhere, nothing will happen. Houses will only be lost if you actively decide to switch, for example from Zodiark to Ragnarok.
How often can I switch for free? There is no strict quantity limitation. However, keep in mind that at least 3 days must pass between two switches on a service account. So, you cannot transfer one character and immediately after that another.
To which data centers can I transfer my characters? To any. Your FFXIV account is not bound to a data center region, meaning you can easily transfer to US servers if you wish. However, transferring to Japanese servers will cost money.
Is it worth switching servers within a data center? Subjective. Starting April 23, it will be possible for all players to travel freely between the servers of a data center with the World Visit System.
If you have friends on Shiva and you’re on Lich, you will soon be able to visit Shiva easily. There will be no time restrictions for such visits.
However, if you want to be in the same FC and maybe buy a house there, you can use the time for free transfer.
Where will the new centers be? Nothing has been officially announced regarding the location yet.
Will the two new servers also go online on April 2? No, the two new servers (one for Chaos and one for Light) will be launched with the release of Shadowbringers.
Also, keep in mind all special cases in which the server transfer cannot take place, such as when the character is less than 3 days old or in the case of a name change. You can find the full list on Lodestone.
In The Division 2, there are hints that you will return to New York in Year 1. Agents have already come up with ideas about what this return might look like.
Why do agents believe in a return to NY? The first hint suggesting a return to New York was shared on Reddit a few days ago. Reports indicate that such images are hanging on walls in various places in Washington D.C.:
The text reads: NYC: After Dark – A Return to the Big Apple — January
These images suggest a return to New York that is supposed to take place in January. You can find such an image at this location, for example:
What is this all about?
Perhaps “NYC After Dark” simply means … nothing at all. It could be just a design in the game without further significance. However, many agents do not believe this.
What agents believe: Instead, many are convinced that this is a hidden hint from Massive about what the third content expansion of The Division 2 will deliver – namely a return to New York, where The Division 1 took place.
So far, only the names of the first two DLCs in Year 1 are known, while the name of DLC 3 is absent from the official infographic:
D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions is DLC 1
Pentagon: The Last Castle is DLC 2
In both cases, the location is mentioned first in the DLC name, followed by another expression. Therefore,
NYC: After Dark
would fit well as a DLC name. So is this really the name of the third DLC?
What is currently known about the third DLC:
According to the Year 1 content trailer, the 3rd DLC will conclude the first chapter of the storyline of The Division 2 and pave the way for more upcoming content. No further details have been provided.
All that is known is that DLC 3 is supposed to be released next winter. Therefore, a January release indicated by “NYC: After Dark” is not far-fetched.
Interestingly, the upper Year 1 content graphic only shows the location of DLC 3 blurred. The locations of the other DLCs are clearly depicted. This could be another hint that DLC 3 will not take place in Washington D.C.
Keep in mind that all this New York info about the third DLC is unconfirmed and based on player speculation.
What could the return to New York look like?
New York could be added as a secondary location – where, as some agents hope, a survival mode will take place.
Because the creative director Julian Gerighty said months ago, that he would be “very surprised” if a survival mode did not eventually come to The Division 2. He himself is a big fan of this mode, which did not receive enough attention in The Division 1 due to the paid DLC model.
He therefore hinted at a survival mode for The Division 2.
What is Survival actually? In the survival mode of The Division 1, you had to fight your way through a blizzard in Manhattan to the Dark Zone without your regular equipment. Hunger, thirst, and illness troubled you. You could temporarily alleviate this with medicine and food, but sooner or later the virus would take you down.
Fans are now speculating that a portion of the New York map could return as a survival area in The Division 2. After all, Massive would hardly have to change the setting – New York from part 1 was in constant winter, and DLC 3 of The Division 2 will also be released in winter. This would fit perfectly.
Additionally, agent fryingpandroid shared the “NYC After Dark” image on Twitter and speculated that it might indicate a survival mode. He commented many times below about how he envisions the new survival mode. Two days ago, Julian Gerighty responded to this tweet. He thanked for sharing and said he would read the feedback on it.
What do you think? Is “NYC After Dark” a hint of a return to New York? Or is Massive just having some fun?
In Anthem, the new patch went live on March 26. It brought numerous changes to the game. Has Anthem now become a better game because of this? We have the answer for you.
Here’s what it’s about: The recently released patch 1.04 brought several changes and various quality-of-life improvements to the game. The community has eagerly awaited this update, hoping it would finally rain loot in Anthem again.
Here we have listed some topics that players have found positive about the update so far.
Javelins feel stronger
Why do they feel stronger? The patch introduced various improvements to all Javelins. Many abilities and components received significant buffs or were fundamentally adjusted to increase their effectiveness.
Interceptors are stronger than ever: Specifically, the Interceptor is said to be particularly good after the update. This Javelin received several changes that have significantly increased its effectiveness.
You no longer need to repeatedly spam your melee button to attack with melee. Instead, you can hold down the button to continuously perform the attack.
The combo aura (passive ability) has been improved. You can now also detonate combos while it is active. Additionally, combo attacks extend the duration of your active aura.
The other Javelins have also benefited greatly from the buffs and are now dealing better damage in the game.
Legendary Missions: A successful change of pace
What are Legendary Missions?Legendary Missions are more challenging variants of story missions. Through these, you can experience parts of the campaign in a different way and earn loot.
There is a mission daily that you will find in the mission selection in your expedition screen.
According to the players, these missions are an action-packed change of pace. Due to the altered enemy composition and drastically increased numbers, they are quite challenging and dynamic. Overall, they provide a cool new daily challenge.
In the Legendary Missions, you occasionally meet old acquaintances.
Loot should be good too: Thanks to numerous strong enemies and the so-called “Apex enemy” at the end, there are good chances that you can get decent loot in these missions. At the end of the mission, you will also be rewarded with a chest.
The Forge has improved
What has changed? There are some quality-of-life improvements for the Forge. These were very well received by the players.
From now on, you can access the Forge directly from your menu. You need to tab right in the options menu.
The loading time for the Forge has been eliminated. You can instantly enter the Forge without having to wait for a loading screen.
From now on, you can make adjustments in seconds.
Furthermore, your Javelin now greets you with the equipped victory pose when you first open the Forge.
This feature is celebrated by fans as much as it is criticized: On one hand, it gives the Forge and your Javelin a nice personal touch. On the other hand, some criticize it as a marketing strategy from EA to highlight purchasable victory poses.
Another quality-of-life improvement can be found at the top right of your equipment list. Your equipped components are now displayed below your weapons. Thus, you can view all your equipped items at a glance and immediately know which build it is.
More build diversity through universal components
The new update introduced several new Masterwork universal components into the game. These are components that can be equipped by any Javelin. They can drop for you in the Grandmaster levels 1, 2, and 3.
The new components are a welcome addition for any build crafter.
What can the new universal components do?
Bloodlust: A inscriptions component that increases the damage of melee weapons. Additionally, it increases melee damage by 75% after a successful melee kill for 10 seconds.
Acid Slugs: Increases ammunition reserves and damage of shotguns. If an enemy is hit with 7 slugs from a shotgun shot, they are inflicted with an acid status effect.
Giant Slayer: Increases ammunition reserves and damage of precision weapons. Increases weak point damage by 50% after 5 consecutive precision weapon shots.
Focused Freeze: Increases ammunition reserves and damage of light machine guns. After 10 consecutive machine gun shots, the target is frozen.
Feedback Loop: Increases ammunition reserves and damage of assault rifles. Increases damage resistance by 50% for 10 seconds after firing the last shot of an assault rifle magazine.
What do the new components bring? With these new additions, you can enhance your existing build or create a new one from scratch.
Specifically, the two components “Acid Slugs” and “Focused Freeze” are particularly interesting. With these, you can prime enemies with your weapons and are not reliant on your Javelin’s primer abilities.
You can find a Ranger build that utilizes exactly this functionality to its advantage here:
The “Bloodlust” component should be particularly interesting for Interceptor pilots. Since you primarily hit with your melee attack with the Interceptor, this component should enrich any melee build.
Users reacted emotionally at first: Anthem struggled with two serious bugs at the beginning of the patch, which negatively affected the loot experience for many players. Because of this, the mood shortly after the release was initially at an all-time low for many.
The patch was labeled a disaster and regression by many users on Reddit. Specifically, the bug that allowed players to collect loot from others was unacceptable for many users.
This is what Mein-MMO readers say about the problems:
“That other players can collect the loot is somewhat annoying, but not something to get too worked up about. Of course, you don’t want to carry everything, but it doesn’t cause any damage. I can’t notice anything from the bosses yet. Received two legendary items (components) from the monitor yesterday. I will see how it goes today. Bugs are never nice, but they simply can no longer be avoided. The criticism is justified in many areas but is not expressed factually. Today’s gamer always wants everything immediately and right away.”
This is what MeinMMO user “Vatti” says about the current situation:
“Of course, I would also love to play a game without errors and perfectly tailored to me. The patches should be better tested and drop faster. But that won’t happen. Bioware will take longer before everything is smooth. I don’t care; I will continue to play anyway.”
Vatti
Is Anthem now a better game after the update? Basically, yes.
Apart from the initial loot problems, the developers have fundamentally improved the player experience. Many annoying bugs have been fixed, and the various Javelins feel stronger than ever.
Also, the general quality-of-life improvements and the new Legendary Missions have had a positive impact on the game. Overall, Anthem has been upgraded with this patch.
Despite all the inconsistencies, Anthem is still a beautiful game with a solid fundamental concept.
On the other hand, there are still various bugs in the game that have become unbearable for many users. Also, the loot in Anthem remains controversial and seems to vary from player to player.
Many fans have been waiting for this, Arjen Robben finally receives a strong special card in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team. This is how you get it, this is how the Robben SBC works.
Since the release of FIFA 19, many FUT players have been looking for a good option for the right wing. However, Arjen Robben’s standard card hardly played a role for anyone.
Luckily, the FUT Birthday now offers us a new opportunity.
The problem with Robben’s standard card: The biggest disappointment for many Robben fans was certainly the pace of his gold card. With only 79 pace, he can’t keep up with many fast wingers. You can’t shake anyone off in a sprint duel.
Robben (85) – Gold Card
The rest of the stats are quite decent. Especially the shooting and dribbling values are strong. However, one should always be aware that Robben’s right foot is unfortunately not usable when shooting.
This is the new End-of-an-Era card
This is what the new card can do: Since March 29, Robben has a new special card – and it is fantastic. The pace problem is easily solved by the new Robben card, here it has a real top value of 95.
In general, this is an incredibly strong card with an overall rating of 93:
Robben (93) – End-of-an-Era
All stats have received insane boosts and make this card the strongest weapon on the right wing for Bundesliga teams. Even the physical values get a strong upgrade to 80.
With a rating of 93, Arjen Robben is now the best winger in the Bundesliga. On the left side, there are special cards from Ribery and Reus, each with 89, on the right side, there are special cards from Werner (91) and Sancho (90). But no one can match Robben’s 93.
The only downside remains his weak right foot. Here, the card only has 2 stars. So one should always shoot with the left. If you keep this in mind, it is likely hard to miss the target.
Gold Card (85) – End-of-an-Era Card (93)
Speed: 79 -> 95
Shooting: 85 -> 94
Passing: 81 -> 90
Dribbling: 88 -> 96
Defending: 32 -> 45
Physical: 62 -> 80
This is how you get the Robben special card
The following steps are needed: Unfortunately, the new Robben card is not exactly cheap. You have to complete four SBC tasks and you have 6 days for it.
The total costs currently amount to approximately:
PS4: 919,000 coins
Xbox One: 896,000 coins
PC: 1,220,000 coins
Here are solution suggestions, these can be done without loyalty and position changes.
In Destiny 2 there is a new leak regarding Season 7 – the Season of Opulence. Apparently, Destiny 1 Exotics are coming back, and there will be some sort of Escape Room.
Many were hoping in advance that during this event – despite NDAs – some information would leak out. However, participants like the streamer Gladd tweeted only that the visit to Bungie was a “wonderful experience” and that the studio is “really huge and impressive.”
What kind of leak is this? Just a few hours ago, a concrete leak about Season 7 surfaced. It is spreading like wildfire on the Destiny Reddit, and YouTubers have already reported on it.
Apparently, the information comes from the user “AnonTheNine,” who has previously been responsible for leaks that later turned out to be correct. Accordingly, Guardians are now eagerly absorbing the information he provides.
Keep in mind that the following information is neither officially confirmed nor necessarily true. Furthermore: Heavy Spoiler Warning!
Calus from Destiny 2
Story, Weapons, and Activities in Season 7 According to Leak
The information from the leak:
The story in Season 7 takes the Guardians back to the Leviathan – the huge ship of Calus, where the first three Destiny 2 raids took place. There, the Guardians should discover the source of Calus’ power. There should be a teaser for the Darkness enemies that are supposed to come in Destiny 3. According to a leak about Destiny 3, Calus will lead a shadow faction.
The Hawkmoon is returning. This was an exotic hand cannon from Destiny 1 that was extremely powerful in year 1. It combined elegance with power.
Hawkmoon
The Oryx is returning. It was an exotic sword that could unleash a spiral of Void energy in all directions. The sword came with the Taken King in Destiny 1.
Rose is coming as a weapon – once the weapon of Rezyl Azzir. However, this Guardian succumbed to the Darkness, became Dredgen Yor, and killed countless innocents with the Rose to consume their light. The Rose thus became the Thorn.
A new pinnacle activity is currently codenamed “Dragonslayer.” It is a game mode reminiscent of an escape room. You have to solve puzzles while waves of enemies attack you. By the way, Dragonslayer is just the codename; Gambit Prime was codenamed “Mamba.”
The leaker will provide new leaks in exactly one week.
Keep in mind that you should take the above information with caution. They are unconfirmed leaks.
Gameplay Calendar
This information about Season 7, on the other hand, is confirmed: Alongside the usual new features such as an increase in power level, new weapons, armor pieces, and cosmetics, the highlights of Season 7 are:
In England, a football professional has admitted to being addicted to Fortnite and it threatens his career. This seems to be a problem in professional football overall – a coach is now cutting off the players’ internet. A psychologist explains why professional footballers are so susceptible to addiction to Fortnite.
This is the statement of a football professional: An anonymous player from the English second division has spoken to “The Sun“. He says:
he plays up to 16 hours of Fortnite a day on the Xbox One – in the “normal case” it is 8 to 10 hours
because of this he has already missed training sessions
now he is afraid of losing his girlfriend
he is also worried about his job as a football player because he fears the club could throw him out
he started playing Fortnite because Premier League stars like Dele Alli also played
he appreciates the speed and competitive nature of Fortnite
Players jump in absurd costumes over an island.
The anonymous second division player says:
“As soon as I come back from training, the first thing I do is turn on the Xbox to play Fortnite. I play for 8 to 10 hours a day – but once I also played for 16 hours without a break the day before a game.
Fortnite had football skins for the World Cup.
Psychotherapist: Footballers are prone to addiction
A psychotherapist says: The Sun quotes psychotherapist Steve Pope, a specialist in addiction. He says:
Footballers need to kill a lot of time
Gaming is a “silent epidemic” – because footballers cannot be tested for it
Footballers generally have an addictive personality, which also makes them good at their job.
From a young age in training academies, footballers are trained to work to achieve a high – this fosters the idea that one must work to get a kick.
If they are not playing football, they seek another kick through alcohol, drugs, betting, or gaming.
The players game before a match to get their kick and then are “flat as a pancake”
Gaming is a suitable substance for footballers because it can’t be detected in drug tests
Fortnite is considered a fast-paced and varied game that also stimulates ambition.
Hasenhüttl cuts off the internet during away games
This is how the league reacts: Football coach Ralph Hasenhüttl currently trains Southampton. He has now announced that he will ban the internet in team hotels during away trips.
In his last club (RB Leipzig), he had the problem that players played until three in the morning – they need to be protected.
Hasenhüttl says:
“It’s not a small problem. To be honest, it’s the same as alcoholism or drug addiction.”
If governments do not treat the problem like an illness, clubs must protect their players.
Apparently, this also has a dark side. For example, the drop in form of Mesut Özil is being attributed to his enthusiasm for playing Fortnite, and they analyze his gameplay time.
During the World Cup, this was portrayed rather positively – although there were already some negative signals. For instance, the German national coach Jogi Löw allegedly turned off the internet for his team because they were playing too much.
France’s striker Griezmann celebrates a goal in a Fortnite-style – in the final of the 2018 World Cup.
Apparently, this also has a dark side. For example, the drop in form of Mesut Özil is being attributed to his enthusiasm for playing Fortnite, and they analyze his gameplay time.
On March 30th, this Saturday, the limited research with Lotad will take place in Pokémon GO. We will provide you with all the information about Shinies, the start time, and the quests so that you can make the most out of the event.
What are limited research tasks? Since January 2019, limited research tasks have been taking place monthly. In January it was about Barboach, in February about Perlu. This month, it is Lotad’s turn.
During the event period of 9 hours, you will find special field research tasks everywhere. Additionally, another Pokémon will be the focus in the wild during this time.
Limited Research in March – All about Start Times and Bonuses
Update March 30th at 10:00 AM: Countries have started the limited research tasks. Lotad seems to have the same shiny rate as Perlu had. Formeo appears to be about as common as Shinies on Community Day.
What: The limited research in March 2019 When: On Saturday, March 30th, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM German time (GMT+1) Pokémon of the Day: Lotad Bonus: Special field research tasks related to Pokémon Lotad Bonus: Pokémon influenced by the weather will appear more frequently Bonus: First chance to catch shiny Lotad and Formeo
This is how Niantic announced the event
What is known about the event duration:This time the limited research will last for 9 hours instead of the usual 3 hours. So you have almost the whole day to take advantage of the event.
What are the Lotad quests?
A dataminer says: Dataminer Chrales found code for field research tasks meant for the Lotad Day. Not all of these need to appear in the event, but all his previous findings were correct.
Fight in a gym
Fight in a raid
Use a very effective charged attack in a gym battle
Use 3 berries when catching Pokémon
Catch a Formeo
Catch 3 Pokémon with weather bonus
Catch 5 Pokémon with weather bonus
Land 5 curveball throws
Land 5 nice throws
Land 3 nice throws in a row
Land 3 great throws
Land 2 great throws in a row
Spin 2 PokéStops
You need to catch Formeo to complete a quest.
What these quests tell us: At first glance, these field research tasks seem quite easy. They are quite comparable to the quests from the Perlu Day, which were relatively easy to accomplish.
It’s not just about Lotad
This is also part of the event: This event is not only about the field research with Lotad, but also about Pokémon that are directly associated with the weather.
This mainly refers to Formeo, as this Pokémon changes its form depending on the weather.
Formeo is also in the spotlight of the event
Are there other event Pokémon? No specific spawns have been confirmed. Besides Formeo, more Pokémon that are enhanced by the weather are likely to spawn.
What players hope for:Some players hope that Kikugi will be released during the event. This Pokémon comes from the 4th generation and has an evolution named Kinococo that also changes its form depending on the weather. It would fit perfectly with the event. However, this has not been confirmed by Niantic.
Formeo is only available in its normal form as shiny. All other forms cannot be caught in shiny form.
These are the shinies that are the focus on Saturday
How likely are the shinies? Not much is known about the shiny rate. Perlu was relatively common as a shiny during its event. Lotad could have a similar shiny rate. Officially, however, this is not known.
Even less is known about the rate of Formeo. It could be as common as a shiny on Community Day, but it could also have a rate of 1 in 450 and be as rare as a normal shiny in the wild. This remains to be seen.
WP for a Lotad from the quest – 100% IV
This WP must your Lotad have: Every Lotad from the quest will be at level 15. The CP can vary depending on IV. At maximum, a Lotad can have 256 CP. This would be a 100% IV Pokémon.
Are Lotad evolutions worth it? Without a 100% IV Lotad, you will continue to do fine. The final evolution Lombre looks cool, but in the Pokémon GO meta, it doesn’t have much value. There is too much strong competition.
Lombre is not really useful in Pokémon GO.
These tips will help you for the event
What is important: You will get only one field research per day at each PokéStop. So if you spin the photo disc and complete the quest before the event starts, you will not be able to receive an event quest there. So wait until the event starts to complete quests.
Find an area with many PokéStops and spawns. There, you can complete a lot more field research tasks.
This is what an area for the event with many stops should look like – Best conditions for players
You can also continue to complete the quests in your inventory after the event ends. So make sure to collect 3 quests shortly before the end.
Keep some quest rewards in your stack. This way, you can also complete many field research tasks in places where there aren’t many spawns.
Look for Pokémon with large catch circles. This way, you can complete the quests with nice and great throws much easier.
The quest “Fight in a Raid” can be completed with these raid bosses:
In GTA Online you can buy many expensive cars. Not all of them are worth their purchase price. A player now shows with brutal honesty which vehicles are worth it and which ones are better not to buy.
What is it about? Regularly, GTA Online is expanded with new cars, planes, motorcycles, or special vehicles. Players can buy them from the dealers but have to shell out several million in-game dollars for them. This means that you have to work hard for the vehicles.
But is it always worth it? Some vehicles are only useful for a specific purpose, while others do nothing but look good. A player is now putting an end to this inconspicuousness. He shows the real utility behind the vehicles. In the last few days, the user The_Real_WakaWiki has posted a handful of vehicles on Reddit and honestly explains whether they are worth it. The community celebrates his analyses and gives almost only positive feedback in the threads.
According to The_Real_WakaWiki, the following vehicles are worth buying:
A flight on the flying motorcycle Oppressor MK2
Oppressor MK2: “This vehicle is “THE vehicle” and a milestone for mobile griefing in GTA Online. The flying motorcycle has many uses: Griefing, grinding, or transport. For its affordable price, it will always have a place in the game.”
Sasquatch Monster Truck: “Tired of NPCs getting in your way when you drive? Bored of flying everywhere with the MK2? Then check out this pretty truck. Attach ‘the shocker’ and watch the NPCs fly. The downsides? The purchase price and the paywall for upgrades.”
The Ruiner 2000
Ruiner 2000: “The vehicle that started and ended the rocket madness in GTA Online. Its regular mode can be the joke of the game, but its fully loaded mode is almost unstoppable. Too bad it only lasts for 30 minutes.”
Buzzard Helicopter: “The original workhorse from GTA Online and co-founder of every grinder’s fortune. There are a few vehicles in the game that are worth every cent and the Buzzard is definitely at the top of that list. A valuable investment for any player. It is hard to imagine playing GTA Online without the Buzzard.”
The Vagner in GTA Online
Vagner: “One of the vehicles that looks better in GTA Online than in real life. A large part of the racing community claims it is the best car in its class. The Vagner gets you from A to B very quickly. The most surprising thing about this vehicle is the reasonable price. Not typical Rockstar.”
These vehicles are not worth it in GTA Online
According to Reddit user The_Real_WakaWiki, these vehicles are not worth it:
P996 Lazer: “We all remember the first time. Loading an online session, only to be greeted with obscenities and explosive cannons. However, times have changed and the Lazer at 6.5 million is a terrible investment. Revenge can wait or take another form.”
Chernobog: “Looking for usefulness? Look elsewhere. Looking for a good price? Keep looking. However, if your goal is to watch a homing missile fly straight at you while you feel immediate regret and stand still, then look no further: the Chernobog is here!”
Deluxo: “One of the vehicles that became obsolete with the introduction of the Oppressor MK2. A threat when it was just released, but now just a shadow of its former self. The extremely high price and the paywall for upgrades don’t help either. The lack of speed in the air is also annoying. Still, the car looks cool and is good for PvE (but is almost outclassed everywhere).”
Stromberg: “Another vehicle that became obsolete due to the MK2. While it wasn’t hit as hard as the Deluxo, it is still rarely seen on the streets. A cool thing that the Stromberg can do is swim underwater. However, that is only cool until you realize that it is even slower than an unmodified Bombushka.”
Are you still missing the necessary money to buy a few of the cool vehicles? Then use these money sources to quickly fill your online accounts.
Dataminers have uncovered some new items for Anthem. While it is still unclear whether and when they will be found in the game, players are excited nonetheless.
What kind of items are they? The dataminers from Anthem Archive have sifted through the game data of Anthem and found some new items. These are not yet available in the game. They could come with one of the upcoming updates for Anthem.
However, it is uncertain whether and when these items will arrive. Some of the items already have names and values assigned, while others have only been found with an image.
The following armors have been found: The dataminers have discovered three new armor sets in the data. Armors for Ranger, Storm, and Colossus have been found. There is no trace of a set for the Interceptor, but the data could still be added or simply have not yet been found.
Storm
Ranger
Colossus
The following weapons have been found: Four weapons have been found that will apparently differ in shape and function from the current guns. The weapons have been referred to as Lightning Gun, Chakram Launcher, Beam Rifle, and Kinesis Shot, but they don’t yet have proper names, only values.
Particularly notable for attentive Anthem fans should be one weapon: The Lightning Gun is likely to be Jarra’s Wrath, which was already seen in the gameplay trailer from 2017.
The following support skills have been found: Finally, four new support skills have been discovered. As with the weapons, the rarity levels Masterful and Legendary are also specified for the skills.
Anthem’s Grace
Tarsis’ Last Stand
Surging Shield
Slayer’s Furor
This is why players are excited: Anthem players are particularly excited about the growing diversity. They recently lamented that there are no armor sets in the new Elysian store.
The growing number of weapons is also welcomed, particularly since they visually differ from the current guns. The appearance of Jarra’s Wrath is well-received. Some players in the Anthem subreddit have already wondered if the weapon will ever make it to the game.
Thank you to our reader Jens Schuch for the tip.

In The Division 2, today, on the 30th of March, is the big vendor reset. Here are the best deals – the high-end items.
What is the vendor reset? Every week, on the night from Friday to Saturday, the vendors in The Division 2 get a new offer. This was already the case in The Division 1, and the reset schedule has been carried over to the second part.
On MeinMMO, we publish every week on Saturday morning an overview of the best offers – and we will likely continue this tradition with The Division 2.
The most important information about the vendor reset:
You will find the following items this week at World Tier 4. The items differ from World Tier to World Tier. Keep this in mind.
We present only the high-end items in the offer because these are generally the best gear available.
Some vendors also offer blueprints. These are mostly blueprints for items that you already own. The blueprint offers differ from agent to agent.
The items in the offer from the clan vendor are also supposed to differ, depending on your clan progress.

There is a new event in Freeplay in Anthem. You need to defeat certain elite enemies from the Dominion. We will show you how to find it and what you need to do.
What kind of event is this? This event is a limited-time Freeplay event associated with a challenge. You can find it in the Cortex under Challenges/Battle.
In this, you must defeat so-called “Dominion Marshalls” that appear in certain Dominion groups. The presence of the Dominion faction seems to have increased in Freeplay as well.
This is how the event is displayed in your Cortex.
Additionally, players have not been receiving news in the game since Patch 1.04, even when an event starts. As developer Brenon Holmes stated in the Anthem subreddit, they encountered a problem with the news feed, causing news to be turned off when starting the game and at the table in Fort Tarsis.
This is how you find the event: There is no exact location for this event. You just need to look for Dominion groups in Freeplay. Since they are currently appearing more frequently, it does not necessarily have to be a World Event.
Some players also report that the event is bugged and cannot be started or ended. There seems to be disagreement in the community about the event duration: While some are still playing it, others are no longer seeing it.
One of the most formidable enemies of the Dominion: The Storm-Bringers. They can also appear as Marshalls.
What are Dominion Marshalls? These are various elite enemies of the Dominion. Recently, this type of enemy has been referred to as “Apex Creatures.” They are stronger versions of already existing enemy types and have a higher drop rate for rare items.
When you defeat the Dominion Marshall, you complete the challenge and receive the associated rewards.
This is how the Dominion Marshall appears: When you have found a group of Dominion soldiers, you must defeat some of them for the Dominion Marshall to appear. You can then check your map to see the area in which the Marshall is located.
The Dominion has taken over Freeplay.
If a Dominion Marshall is nearby, it will be marked by a yellow crosshair symbol.
The Marshall may be an Elementalist, a Valkyrie, a Storm Bringer, or even a Special Agent. They seem to have slightly improved abilities and can apparently evade your attacks better..
What is the reward? The challenge rewards you with various crafting materials.

In Borderlands 3, players will learn the release date next week. Gearbox plans to announce when Borderlands 3 will be released on April 3, 2019. There are already some initial speculations: Many expect a launch of Borderlands 3 still in 2019.
Following the event, the CEO of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford, confirmed that they would unveil the release date for Borderlands 3 on April 3, 2019. That’s already next Wednesday.

In the trailer for Borderlands 3, two numbers are prominently visible in close temporal proximity: the 1 and the 10. This makes 1.10.2019.
The site PCGamesN adds:
The first Borderlands was released on October 20, 2009 – so now this would be the 10th anniversary
Additionally, this could fit well because 1.10.2019 is a Tuesday, making it a good date for a release
What other theories about the release date are there?
Basically, it is believed that Borderlands 3 should be released by March 31, 2020, which is supported by statements from publisher Take-Two. They did not explicitly mention Borderlands but referred to a “highly anticipated game, one of the biggest 2K franchises” – that can only mean Borderlands 3.
Currently, three time frames are circulating as possible release dates for Borderlands 3.
The idea that would please many fans the most is a release in the style of “Apex Legends”: almost simultaneous with the announcement. Gearbox would announce on April 3 that they are starting with Borderlands 3 immediately.
How likely is this early release window? It’s not very likely at all. Borderlands 3 will be a retail title. It would have surely leaked beforehand if it were going to happen quickly.
And the retailers also want to run proper advertising for it.
Another possibility is classically in the “fall” of 2019, right in the blockbuster season when big games and expansions are traditionally released. We currently do not know how much competition Borderlands 3 will face – the games for this will usually be revealed in advance of E3.
How likely is the mid release window? This is more likely. Perhaps they will already go into late summer and take the spot that Destiny traditionally occupies – in September.
Maybe Gearbox is speculating that Bungie will leave the spot open this year or they are confident that the brand is strong enough to stand out. Or they are bold and deliberately competing against the 2019 Call of Duty.
These could be the heroes of Borderlands 3.
Fans would certainly be a bit disappointed if Borderlands 3 were to be released only in spring 2020 – then players would have to wait longer. But the field would surely be open for Gearbox.
How likely is the late release window? This would be the release slot that Anthem and The Division 2 occupied this year and which is quite lucrative. Then they could have actually waited until E3 if Borderlands 3’s release is still almost a year away.
Furthermore, Gearbox has declared 2019 as the “year of Borderlands,” so a release in 2020 would be inappropriate.
In the latest patch 8.20 of Fortnite there are numerous skins and cosmetics again. We show you all the outfits that have been found.
This is known about the skins: These skins have only been found in the patch 8.20 by data miners. They are not yet in the game and will be released gradually.
We present these outfits to you so that you know what to expect in the coming days.
These cosmetics for Fortnite were found in patch 8.20
These skins have been found: A total of 8 skins are waiting for you in the patch. Especially the themes of lava and pirates are represented. For example, there is a Battle Hound skin that is on fire.
These are the new pickaxes: There are 5 pickaxes that will soon come to the shop. Many of these harvesting tools are suitable for the new skins. For instance, there is a cactus that surely fits the cactus skin.
These gliders are new: 4 new gliders have been found. Among them is a cool dragon that would fit one of the lava skins.
These are the new back bling: There are also 6 new back blings. Among them is a creepy voodoo doll that carries needles. But the steering wheel also looks cool and fits the pirates.
There are also new emotes: Not only outfits have been found in the patch, but also 4 new dance emotes. You will soon be able to spit fire and show the jazz hands.
These are the new wraps: Finally, two new wraps were also found in the patch. You will soon be able to give your weapons and vehicles a golden decoration.
You should consider this when buying: These outfits are purely cosmetic items. You will not become stronger just because you wear one of the skins.
When will the cosmetics be available in the shop? The outfits are expected to be released by the next patch. You will gradually find them in the Fortnite shop.
Have you heard about the cool new weapon that is coming?
Twitch has now activated a feature for Squad Streaming on its platform. This is supposed to help streamers, but there are issues.
What is this feature? On the live streaming platform TwitchTV, a feature for shared streaming, called Squad Stream, is now active:
Up to 4 players can go live and stream together in one window.
As a viewer, you see all streamers together in one window and can choose who you want to view in full screen.
To join a stream like this, simply go to the channel of a streamer. If they are in Squad Stream, a button “Watch in Squad Mode” will appear. Then you will see all streamers that have joined the squad simultaneously.
This is the idea behind it: The advantage is supposed to be that streamers can address a larger audience at the same time. The community of each individual streamer is supposed to grow as a result.
So it is designed as a feature that helps streamers grow.
Here, 3 streams are running simultaneously in Squad Mode
What is the problem? The new feature was tested by 3 Twitch big names. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Ben “DrLupo” Lupo, and Tim “TimTheTatMan” Bertar. Together, the 3 streamers have over 20 million followers on TwitchTV, with 13 million alone for Ninja.
On March 28th, the 3 streamed together in Squad Mode, and Tim noted that there is an issue with the feature:
Because viewers who mute a channel in a Squad Stream no longer count as viewers for that stream.
In a Squad Stream, you have the option to adjust the volume of each individual streamer in this mode and also mute them. Even though you still see them, you are not counted as a viewer.
For the streamer, this is a major disadvantage, as their viewer count is distorted and lower.
What do the streamers say about it? Ninja seemed surprised by this statement: “Bro, I probably have 100,000 viewers a day. And everyone just mutes me.”

DrLupo notes in the clip that probably all streamers see an extreme increase in viewers at the start from their Squad Stream, but this would quickly drop again because viewers mute all but one streamer after a few seconds.
In fact, even the default settings have all but one stream muted. You need to manually turn up the volume if you want to hear more than one streamer at the same time.
This is mainly because otherwise the streamers talk over each other uncontrollably. Additionally, they are usually connected via Discord or other software for voice chat, so you can hear them all in one stream anyway.
Viewers then only hear one stream in Squad Mode, but can see the reactions of the other players in the small preview windows.
Now some streamers wish that viewers in Squad Mode should also be counted when streamers are muted.
The Overwatch League has lost one of its best players after just a month. Professional player Daniel “Dafran” Francesca is leaving Atlanta Reign to become a streamer again.
Who is Dafran? Daniel “Dafran” Francesca (right in the title image) is one of the best Overwatch players in the world. He is especially well-known in the American community and a fan favorite.
He gained his popularity through his laid-back style, questionable stream content, his love for trolling, and particularly strong performances in Overwatch. In the second season of the Overwatch League, he played so well at times that he astonished even the experienced commentators.

In the league, Dafran played for Atlanta Reign, one of the teams predicted to achieve great success for Season 2. Atlanta Reign finished the Phase 1 playoffs, which were also broadcast on TV, in 5th-8th place, taking home $25,000 in prize money.
That’s why he is leaving the league: For Dafran, the Overwatch League has apparently become too exhausting. In a TwitLonger post, he writes:
Professional gaming has always been my biggest dream since I was very young, and you [Atlanta Reign] gave me a chance. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. I would rather be a streamer again at this point and chill.
He thanks for the opportunity to play with Atlanta Reign and can even broadcast his streams under the team’s flag. As additional reasons, the US site Kotaku also points to the pressures of the league.
What’s his plan now? Dafran wants to stream more again. His plan for the future is:
More, longer, and more consistent streams
Pepe is coming back
A stream schedule for the EU is returning (it likely means: at EU-friendly times)
Overwatch remains the main game, but more variety is likely
Dafran is thus following the path taken by other great players before him. The Dallas-Fuel player Seagull also preferred to return to his streams. His teammate xQc streams more after being kicked.
Was left: xQc
What do you think of the decision?
The Overwatch League recently made headlines with a highlight:
Printer filament and titanium are rare materials in The Division 2. With these tips, you can find both more easily.
The Division 2 has many different materials and resources that you need for certain things like crafting. Two of them are printer filament and titanium.
What do you need printer filament for? The superior material is mainly used for crafting skill mods, but it’s also needed for upgrading the workbench.
What do you need titanium for? Titanium is needed for crafting weapons, weapon mods, gear, and upgrading the workbench. It is scattered everywhere in the game world.
Break down mods for printer filaments
How to easily get printer filament: Printer filaments are relatively rare in the game world. However, there is a simple way to get this material in large quantities.
You just need to break down gear and skill mods. But you should not do this indiscriminately.
What you should keep in mind: Especially with skill mods, it can be valuable to keep some from the lower level range, as they have lower requirements for your skill strength and still improve your skills.
Gear mods, however, can be found more frequently as you level up, and they are not always useful. Before level 30, you should be able to break most of them down without worry.
Titan is everywhere, but one place is particularly good
How to easily get titanium: This material is a bit harder to obtain. YouTuber Mtashed has found a location in the game world that is particularly good for gathering resources.
However, you can only benefit from this once a day. But you will find a lot of useful stuff there – including plenty of titanium.
The location is the Solar Farm control point, located exactly between the Capitol Stronghold and the Castle Settlement in the eastern part of D.C.
First, capture the control point.
Then you can collect all the loot in the area.
There, you will find plenty of weapon and gear crates, as well as a lot of materials, including many titanium containers.
Once you have collected everything, you must wait 24 hours for the containers to refill.
In the endgame, you get 3-5 titanium per container. The video shows how lucrative the Solar Farm is:

Farm titanium in the game world, from factions, and in the Dark Zone
These are additional methods to find titanium:
Use control point officers: If you donate enough resources like components, water, and food at conquered control points, you will receive a 10-minute buff. This makes all containers in a certain radius glow. A thorough walk with this buff will get you plenty of materials, including titanium.
Take out Outcasts and Black Tusk: Certain enemy factions will drop titanium with some luck. While Black Tusk drops all rare materials, including carbon fiber and electronics, the Outcasts are reliable sources of titanium. So complete corresponding missions with these factions. You can find them mainly in regions like West End, Foggy Bottom, and Constitution Hall.
Go to the Dark Zone: In the landmarks of the Dark Zones, titanium can be dropped by any enemy. But be aware that there is always a risk of encountering other players and getting involved in PvP battles. The western Dark Zone is said to offer an increased chance of titanium.

The AI should encourage players to purchase items in a store by:
Changing matchmaking so that players stay engaged – they get weaker opponents if they lose too many games in a row, so that a win then motivates them again
Making players compete against those with strong items, so they feel tempted to buy those items
This follows: The user on reddit believes that EA has now established such a manipulative AI in Anthem and that it determines who gets good loot and who doesn’t.
Therefore, BioWare cannot simply change the loot.
But it would explain why players suddenly get good loot when they always start and quit FreePlay – eventually the AI in the background says “he needs loot now, or he will quit” and suddenly a streak of good fortune starts.
Is the theory believed? The theory was not really believed. Many regarded it as a conspiracy theory.
Others, however, could explain the sudden legendary drops after long dry spells by not logging in for a while.
The theory has since been deleted on reddit. Now the discussion is whether there really is something behind it if it gets deleted …
This is the so-called “Streisand” effect, where things spread faster when someone tries to prevent their spread.
What’s behind this: Two things come together here.
The “evil AI” theory from 2017/2018 has genuinely worried many players, as it fits into their view of evil corporations
and players have always speculated that the loot in games isn’t as random as it seems – they are looking for patterns and explanations
But the idea that EA secretly installed a manipulative AI that now decides who gets loot and who doesn’t seems far-fetched.
If this got out, it would be a huge scandal and would destroy the company overnight. Such a big secret, involving so many people, would ultimately come out.
Furthermore, it seems BioWare can change the loot and has already proven this with a “bug”. They currently simply do not want to trigger the “loot shower”, but rather work on the loot in small steps.
At that time, it was already completely unclear where this presentation came from and whether it had actually convinced the corporate people at EA. It could well be that a company simply tried something and EA could not be convinced of their concept.

the presentation that is being cited is most likely false and a “gag” from trolls – they apparently took the actual reports about such mechanics from EA and Activision as an occasion to generate a “fake” that circulated in January 2018

Reddit mod says: We didn’t delete it and it was probably a fake
the original article was automatically deleted after many users reported it – this was not a decision of the mod team
the presentation that is being cited is most likely false and a “gag” from trolls – they apparently took the actual reports about such mechanics from EA and Activision as an occasion to generate a “fake” that circulated in January 2018

The AI should encourage players to purchase items in a store by:

The loot in the online RPG Anthem is quite poor. Fans are looking for explanations: One theory was so bold that its deletion on reddit caused a stir. EA is said to have implemented a manipulative AI that regulates the loot as a motivational factor.
This is the loot problem of Anthem: Many players believe Anthem is too stingy with its loot:
Conspiracy theory based on nasty AI rumors from 2018
This is the conspiracy theory: A user on reddit created a post, “The real reason for the problems with loot, balance, and the shop in Anthem.” (via removereddit).
The user refers to reports from January 2018. At that time, there were images from an anonymous source.
These images showed the individual sliders of a presentation for a technology that is supposed to ensure that players stay in online games and generate more revenue.
Through manipulation of the game as a whole (social engineering) and manipulation of the individual player’s experience (psychological manipulation), more revenue is to be generated.
The images can be found on techpowerup. The article and presentation do not mention any names (not even EA), but screenshots of Anthem can be recognized.
But it would explain why players suddenly get good loot when they always start and quit FreePlay – eventually the AI in the background says “he needs loot now, or he will quit” and suddenly a streak of good fortune starts.

In April, the ROG Convention Duisburg from hardware manufacturer ASUS will take place. The developers of Star Citizen will also be there. You will have the chance to play the popular action-adventure Sekiro as well.
What kind of convention is this? The ROG Convention presents you with current hardware from ASUS’s Republic of Gamers series. But you won’t just be able to admire the hardware; you can also try it out yourself. You can play the strategy game Anno 1800 and the space project Star Citizen in its latest version there. Both before their release!
You will then have the opportunity to chat with some developers of Star Citizen on site. They will also explain more about what is happening in the space game.
Additionally, you can play games like Sekiro, Fade 2 Silence, The Division 2, Rainbow 6 Siege, and Space Junkies on site.
This is the hardware being played on: At the convention, there are numerous demo stations available to you, running on high-end ROG hardware. Play the game hits in 4K or ultrawide and HDR. The power is provided by Intel Core processors of the 9th generation and ROG Strix graphics cards.
This is what you can learn: If you want, you can join experts at the convention for workshops and learn more about overclocking systems. Professional overclocker Roman “Der8auer” Hartung will also be on site.
In the evening, a big show awaits you!
The program: During the day, you can chat with developers, learn more about overclocking, and participate in the ROG Challenge to win great hardware prizes.
In the evening, the ROG Live Show will air. On the show stage, you can expect world-exclusive announcements and challenges between YouTubers. There will also be show acts. The moderators from Gamestar will guide you through the evening.
When and where is the ROG Convention? The event will take place on April 12, 2019, at Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord in the Kraftzentrale. It starts at 1:00 PM. The Kraftzentrale offers over 6,000 square meters of space.
Are there still tickets available? You can still purchase basic and premium tickets for the convention. The VIP tickets are already sold out.
Basic Ticket: Access to the ROG Convention, the evening show, and the ROG After Show Party
Premium Ticket: All the benefits of the Basic Ticket plus a goodie bag and exclusive seating during the evening show
The goodie bag includes, among other things, the official ROG Convention mousepad, a free game from a large selection of games, and a can of Red Bull.
We from MeinMMO are media partners and will be present on site with our livestream channel MAX. We don’t want to reveal too much about the content of the stream yet, but make sure to tune in if you’re not in Duisburg.

After some bickering with the community, there will soon be an old portal again in World of Warcraft . This is something fans have particularly wanted after the developers trimmed the portal connections. Game Director Ion Hazzikostas confirmed the return.
Which portal is returning? The portal to the Caverns of Time will return. This was promised by Game Director Ion Hazzikostas during a Q&A:

When is the portal returning? Hazzikostas mentioned that the portal would appear with the “next content update”. This is likely with patch 8.2 or earlier with the new raid Crucible of Storms. Either way, it will still take a few weeks or months.
Here was the problem so far:In patch 8.1.5, Blizzard removed several portals in various cities. Among them are the portals in Dalaran, leaving only the way to Stormwind or Orgrimmar.
In both capitals, Blizzard introduced new portal rooms instead, so the cities would become a “hub”. However, many portals were removed, including the one to the Caverns of Time.
The portal room of the Alliance in Stormwind
Fans were quite angry about this and couldn’t understand the purpose of this step. The criticism grew louder. Some fans are still criticizing on reddit that the new “portal hubs” didn’t really feel like “hubs” due to many missing paths, but rather felt incomplete.
This is what you can use the portal for: The main reason players demand the portal is for so-called “transmog runs” and “mount runs” for old content. Particularly, the raid Dragon Soul is popular.
The Caverns of Time are the seat of the bronze dragonflight.
In these runs, players aim to loot mounts and pets or specific items for transmog. These are meant to look visually appealing and offer players the chance to create their own matching fashion sets. They can also showcase these in the “Great Style Check” to other players and even win prizes.
