With Alpha 3.5, the space online game Star Citizen introduces a new planet resembling Coruscant from Star Wars. It is a huge city where you can pick up quests among other things.
Which planet is coming into play? It is the world of ArcCorp, located in the Stanton system. Almost the entire surface is covered with buildings.
ArcCorp is a new planet in Star Citizen.
Star Citizen Wars
Why does the planet remind of Star Wars? The seat of government of the Republic in the prequels to Star Wars was located on the planet Coruscant. This planet is also completely covered by buildings – just like ArcCorp.
What does ArcCorp offer? The world is a hotspot for anyone looking to quickly get quests and buy new ships or better equip their spaceships. You will find many shops in Hub Area 18 and furthermore quest givers.
What else does the update offer? In addition to the possibility to now also create female characters, gravity will be introduced in atmospheric flight. This means that your spaceships will behave differently when approaching a planet once they enter the atmosphere.
As a result, you will have to act more cautiously during landings – especially with the numerous buildings of ArcCorp.
Additionally, a new control system for the ships will be integrated. With this, you should be able to steer even more accurately and precisely.
Area 18 on the planet ArcCorp resembles the movie Blade Runner.
Alpha 3.5 Excites Fans
How are the players reacting? On the test server, Alpha 3.5 is already playable for some supporters.
Players are especially enthusiastic about the new planet. Zooming through the skyscrapers apparently is a lot of fun. In addition, players are exploring all angles of Area 18, as there are even some small alleys full of details.
The planet is not only compared to Coruscant from Star Wars, but even to the Blade Runner films, as the many high-rise buildings and neon advertisements evoke that futuristic feeling from the Hollywood flicks.
Overall, Alpha 3.5 is well received on the Star Citizen test server. When the alpha will be made available to everyone else is still unknown.
Now there are predictions for TOTW 29 (Team of the Week) in FIFA 19. These players could make it into the Team of the Week and receive Inform cards.
These are TOTW predictions: The predictions for the Team of the Week are community forecasts. Each week, an attempt is made to predict which players could make it into the Team of Week.
In fact, it often succeeds in correctly predicting many of the new Inform cards.
The best players from the predictions: The strongest TOTW cards this week could be received by Zapata, Aspas, and Poulsen. For none of these players, it would be their first Inform card in FUT 19.
Possible Bundesliga players in TOTW 29: Several players from the Bundesliga could make it into the Team of the Week. Poulsen, Kostic, and Alcacer are highly regarded.
If Poulsen makes it, it would already be his 3rd TOTW card in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team.
Previous cards of Poulsen
This would certainly please many players with Bundesliga teams, as even his second TOTW card has decent stats and is very popular.

The popular subreddit r/Games will be closed for a day on April 1st. However, this is not about avoiding bad April Fools’ jokes, but about making a statement against the hate that comes from gamers.
What is r/games? This is the part of Reddit where people want to discuss games in general. Most other subreddits are dedicated to specific games or genres, while r/games serves as a place to discuss all video games.
While r/gaming mainly consists of people posting funny videos and memes, r/Games links to English articles from gaming sites, tweets, or YouTube videos, and then thousands discuss how to classify what is happening in the world of games.
The subreddit has 1.7 million subscribers.
The fun subreddit r/gaming, by the way, has 21.5 million.
Anthem has been a big topic in r/games over the past few weeks.
That’s why r/games will close on April 1st: The mods published a message the day before (via reddit/Games). They say: They want to take April 1st a bit more seriously this time and highlight something that is becoming a growing problem in the subreddit community and in other gaming communities:
The subreddit has become a battleground of conflicting ideas.
The moderators then give examples of posts:
that are against transgender people
that are shaped by homophobia
that are directed against Muslims
with racist content
with misogynistic content
that advocate for pedophilia or rape
that contain malicious attacks against others
This is nasty stuff when you click through. For example, comments are linked that approve of the attack in New Zealand on mosques. Or people talk extensively about each other’s penises and say they are probably microscopic. Developers are accused of throwing out gay people who were certainly brainwashed by other gay people.
Fallout 76 was discussed very critically on r/games for weeks.
The moderators say: This happens every day in the subreddit. It makes it difficult for the moderators to create an environment where everyone feels welcome.
There are also bright spots where the community comes together to follow the central idea: to discuss and enjoy video games together.
Because even though the gaming industry as a whole has many difficulties, we are fortunate today to be able to play so many fantastic games, from AAA titles down to indie games that come from nowhere.
The letter then ends with numerous links to organizations that represent the interests of LGBT+, women, or ethnic minorities.
In The Division 2, fans are eagerly awaiting World Tier 5 and the first raid. After official information was already released at the launch of World Tier 5, a leak now reveals what agents can expect in the raid “Operation: Dark Hours”.
What is the new leak about? Recently, first details were leaked regarding the first raid of The Division 2. The leak included supposed tasks, trophies, and other minor details. Now, potential information about raid mechanics and flow has been published by the same source, Reddit user keviddavid40.
What the new leak about the raid of The Division 2 reveals
Warning, possible spoilers ahead: Anyone who wants to discover the raid for themselves should not continue reading. Furthermore, the information is not officially confirmed and should be viewed with appropriate caution.
According to keviddavid40, the information comes from data mining. Here’s what they reveal about the first raid of The Division 2:
Powerplay Items
What kind of items are these? New items, called Powerplay Items, will be introduced in the raid. Each plays an important role and is supposed to help your agents.
They are not standard raid loot. Consider them more as a type of extra help or power-up. If you manage to get them, your life in the raid will be easier. If not, you will have to tackle the raid the “normal” way.
What makes the items special:
They are not available at all times or at will
They can be used only a limited number of times
They are found in hidden spots in the raid. Each of these spots has a unique symbol
You need to eliminate special elite NPCs to get a key that grants access to the hidden spots
These special elite enemies appear only rarely in the raid. There is no consistent pattern. It depends on chance and luck whether you run into them
You have only a short, limited window of time to eliminate these enemies. If you fail, they will not appear again in the ongoing raid session
What can the items do? If you manage to get one or more of these items, you will be rewarded with valuable effects.
Dark Drinker has a limited active time and refills ammunition for the individual weapons of the three specializations – that is, for the crossbow, the grenade launcher, and the heavy sniper
Dark Devourer grants unlimited skill recharge for a limited time. If a skill is currently being used, this effect is inactive
Thieves Den allows you to see certain boxes with cosmetics or exotics. Only the player using this item can see the boxes. Sharing the found gear is not possible
G. Philips Protocol allows you to temporarily have the feared Hunters fight on your side against elite enemies
Dawn of Dark unlocks a hidden checkpoint at your current location
This is how the raid Operation: Dark Hours unfolds
The leak also reveals numerous supposed details about the flow of the raid. Apparently, Operation: Dark Hours is divided into four phases:
Phase 1 – The Bridge: The first raid encounter takes place on the Arlington Bridge, according to the leak. All 8 players must make it to the other side alive.
During this phase, no skills can be used. However, some NPCs will drop items called “Intensifiers”. These will boost player weapon damage.
At the end of the bridge, one of the agents is marked as “hunted”. Only they can see the hidden escape route. Enemies will then focus on this player and do everything to prevent you from reaching them in time.
If the team fails, the marked agent must try to reach the next location while avoiding the so-called Interceptors.
Phase 2 – Bazaar: The next location on the way to the airport is the so-called Bazaar area. This is a large area where players split into two four-member squads.
One team must hide until nightfall. The other team must make their way to the lookout tower in the hills north of the Bazaar area – either by fighting or by cleverly avoiding encounters.
The hidden team must then scout the Bazaar area at night and search for a stolen GPS. Hunters will make their lives difficult. Once they find the device, they must signal the other team in the lookout tower with a flare.
This team must use the GPS coordinates to fire rockets. This starts the first real encounter “Blackout” for both teams. An attack by elite enemies follows. All 8 agents must reach the extraction point alive, which the two squads will reach via different routes.
If an agent falls behind, they must rejoin their team by following the route and staying as low-key as possible.
Phase 3 – Parking Area: The next location is the parking area of the airport. Once the teams regroup at a playable element, they must fight their way to the upper area. There, they need to mark a pickup zone for an important NPC they encountered while escaping from elite enemies.
This section will apparently not be a walk in the park. Agents will face artillery strikes as well as Apache helicopters that will terrorize them at every turn. The collected NPC must survive.
Phase 4: The Runway: The final section of the raid takes place on the runway. Here, the raid team is again split into two squads.
They must flank the main target, which they will not attack themselves. Most of the time, this enemy will be dragging crates to a transport plane. Apparently, this opponent has the most health in the game.
Moreover, they will be guarded by another enemy, a kind of mini-boss, who can wipe out the entire raid team with one of their attacks if not stopped in time.
In Pokémon GO the Bug Event is approaching and players are already discussing what you might expect. We present to you 5 wishes from the community.
What are these wishes? Players have numerous wishes for every event in Pokémon GO. We have selected 5 things that sound quite plausible and might be implemented.
However, none of the wishes have to come true. So far, they are just theories from the player base.
These 5 wishes are from the players
Where do the wishes come from? On Reddit there are numerous opinions about the event surrounding the bugs. We took a look there and searched for the things that were wished for the most.
This is the wish: Players have been waiting for the return of Nincada for weeks. The bug Pokémon is absolutely wished to return for the event. This is the wish that players express the most.
A return of Nincada is wished for.
How realistic is that? The chances of a return release are good. After all, Nincada is a bug Pokémon and Niantic is also listening to the community’s wishes.
Additionally, there are special bug quests for the event, where a Nincada would fit ideally as a reward.
Wish 2: Shiny Scyther comes to the game
This is the wish: It was already visible in the announcement image, which is why many players wish for the shiny form of Scyther. This form does not exist yet.
This is how the Bug Event was announced.
How realistic is that? Niantic likes to release shinies for events. Scyther is quite likely since it is a bug and so far only its normal form is available to catch.
Although it was shown in the announcement image, we also saw Myrapla for the Plant Event there. However, it was not released as a shiny afterward. So the image does not mean much.
Wish 3: New Bug Pokémon from Gen 4 come
This is the wish: In the 4th generation, there are still missing bug Pokémon. Players wish for the release of Burmy, Burmadame, and Moterpel.
Burmy and its evolutions are wished for.
How realistic is that? All 3 Pokémon have already been found in the code. For Niantic, it would be no challenge to release these bugs. Moreover, they would fit well into such an event.
Nonetheless, it is probably more of a wish. It would fit well, but with Lunatone and Solrock having just swapped regions recently, it seems less likely.
Wish 5: There is another chance at Ninjask
This is the wish: Not only Nincada is supposed to return. Ninjask should also be released again. After all, this Pokémon has only been available in the research breakthrough in November.
Ninjask is also wished for.
How realistic is that? At the moment, there is no way to obtain Ninjask. Many players are still missing this bug Pokémon. It is quite conceivable that this Pokémon will be released again during a bug event.
As a research breakthrough, it probably won’t come since we already have 8 other Pokémon there. It could potentially come from a quest.
What are your wishes for the event? Which suggestions do you find good here?
Have you heard about the April Fool’s joke from Pokémon GO?
Bethesda’s Todd Howard spoke at the PAX East gaming convention regarding the launch of the online game Fallout 76. While he admitted that the launch did not go well, he also stated that the title sold very, very well.
What Todd Howard meant: Bethesda’s producer addressed the rocky launch of the online game Fallout 76 and the criticism that the title faced during PAX East.
Howard explained that issues emerged during development. Four teams from multiple studios had to be coordinated, all working on Fallout 76 during a growth phase at Bethesda. This approach and the project itself were new for the studio.
Howard explained that the team had hoped that the problems would not manifest in the final product, but that is exactly what happened. Although Bethesda expected a rocky start, the severity of the issues surprised the company.
Fallout 76 has apparently sold very, very well
So not everything is bad: Howard also stated that Fallout 76 has sold very, very well. And Bethesda has already planned to support the online game with updates over the coming years.
Howard specifically addressed the legendary items and mentioned that the aim is to provide players with new ways to acquire these items, possibly through special instances that offer legendary items as rewards.
Why should this be taken with caution? Todd Howard, as producer, naturally wants his game to appear in a good light even after all the criticism. Therefore, it is clear that he speaks of very good sales figures and wants to assure fans that further updates will come and that the title will be supported for a long time.
However, he did not provide exact figures, and in an online game, waning player interest can come swiftly. Such statements without evidence should always be consumed with some skepticism; nonetheless, it is likely that Fallout 76 did not sell as poorly as some believe.
Players are pleased with the statement, but skepticism remains
What do the players think? Fans of Fallout 76 are pleased that Bethesda has finally addressed the situation and is being honest about it. They appreciate that Todd Howard admits to problems and does not downplay the situation.
QuietPig stated on Reddit: “I am glad that Bethesda is showing a bit of responsibility here.”
Regarding the sales of the game, opinions are somewhat divided. Some fans believe that the “hate” directed at Fallout 76 was exaggerated and that there were only a few vocal players who were disappointed because Fallout 76 was not Fallout 5.
lostnknox commented on Reddit: “Can we assume now that the haters have not managed to ruin Fallout 76 for all those who enjoy it? It was probably the most hated game in gaming history, and the hate was completely exaggerated.”
Others remain skeptical. ModAbuseo stated: “The game sold well? That would be news to me. In my store, even the free bundles with Fallout 76 aren’t moving.”
NakedAndBehindYou said: “The game deserved the hate at launch because it was a disaster. However, Bethesda managed to remove many of the bugs, and now Fallout 76 is better than it was at release.”
The balance of the individual units in Dota 2 Auto Chess is constantly adjusted and optimized. In this tier list, we have gathered the best units for April 2019 for you.
What is the basis for the list? The tier list was created based on the data from Metabomb and Dotahaven. Additionally, the author’s own experience has been incorporated. All rankings explaining why the units are strong were also created by the author.
The tier list is meant to serve as a good classification for you. However, this does not mean that the corresponding units are always the best in every situation.
In this list, we show you the strongest and weakest units sorted by gold. Currently, the two gods that were introduced on March 30 are missing.
They will be added in the coming days when the community has gathered more experience with them. However, they seem strong at first glance, especially when taking advantage of the race bonus.
If you want to familiarize yourself with Dota 2 Auto Chess in general, you can find a beginner guide on it.
Shadow Fiend, a stronger demon in Auto Chess
The best units for 1 gold
When you start a match, you initially have units for 1 gold available. Here, you can already lay the foundation for the future team setup.
These units are top tier:
Axe – Orc/Warrior
Bounty Hunter – Goblin/Assassin
Anti-Mage – Elf/Demon Hunter
The character Axe provides many synergies relatively early on. Orcs can be quickly found with Juggernaut or Beastmaster for two gold each, and three warriors create an early bonus effect.
With Bounty Hunter, it’s similar with the goblins. Additionally, the unit is already quite strong due to its damage.
The Anti-Mage takes out many units that require mana, especially in the beginning. In the midgame, the Anti-Mage falls off a bit, but becomes stronger again in the endgame.
These units are strong:
Clockwork – Goblin/Mech
Tinker – Goblin/Mech
Enchantress – Beast/Druid
For Clockwork and Tinker , they are strong due to their early synergies. 3 goblins and 2 mechs can almost completely be covered by the both of them. Add in a Bounty Hunter, and you have a strong initial lineup.
Enchantress has strong healing at the beginning. Additionally, she can be quickly leveled up with the druid skill. She can also be regularly bought, combined, and resold to generate 1 gold.
You can do without these units:
Bat Rider – Troll/Knight
Tiny – Elemental/Warrior
Shadow Shaman – Troll/Shaman
The troll bonus would only become effective with the Troll Warlord, and you don’t necessarily get him. Additionally, both Bat Rider and Shadow Shaman are weak in terms of stats.
Tiny has synergies with warriors, but also anti-synergies by throwing enemies away with his ability. Sometimes this saves enemy units’ lives, and they can use their ultimate ability again.
Tiny is also among the weak units even at the highest level
The best units for 2 gold
With the units for 2 gold, you can create initial synergies. Accordingly, the units benefit from what you bought in the first rounds.
These units are top tier:
Beastmaster – Orc/Hunter
Juggernaut – Orc/Warrior
Timbersaw – Goblin/Mech
Queen of Pain – Demon/Assassin
For Beastmaster and Juggernaut , it is somewhat similar to Axe. They are orcs, which makes earning the bonus easy. Three warriors are also easily obtainable in the early game.
Timbersaw also has good chances as a goblin and mech to generate bonuses with Clockwork, Bounty Hunter, and/or Tinker .
Queen of Pain is the first demon and therefore important as it brings a 50% damage bonus. Additionally, she does good AoE damage with her abilities in the early game.
These units are strong:
Slardar – Naga/Warrior
Luna – Elf/Knight
Slardar has a high base damage and is also a warrior. Good conditions to complement the team with orcs.
Luna has attacks that hit multiple opponents, making her versatile. An early combination with two knightslike Chaos Knight or Omniknight is possible. With a second knight, Luna’s strength increases, although the other knights are currently rather weak.
You can do without these units:
Crystal Maiden – Human/Mage
Puck – Elf/Mage
Morphling – Elemental/Assassin
Furion – Elf/Druid
Slark – Naga/Assassin (currently removed because too weak)
This list includes two mages, Crystal Maiden and Puck. Mages can be strong when you have many of them together. Alone, however, they are weak, except for Razor. Puck is absolutely required for the dragon combo, but it is currently not as strong as it used to be. Crystal Maiden could make her big appearance in combination with the gods, though.
The Morphling has a similar problem to Tiny. When he uses his ability, he jumps to another position on the field. Although he is invulnerable, this also gives the opposing team time.
Although Furion and Treant (3 gold) are identical in races/classes, Furion’s stats are weaker, and his skill is more useless. Therefore, he ranks much lower.
Various creatures from the Dota universe
The best units for 3 gold
The midgame is largely driven by units for 3 and 4 gold. However, especially in the 3 gold area, there are many special units that are often only useful in combination.
These units are top tier:
Shadow Fiend – Demon/Warlock
Terrorblade – Demon/Demon Hunter
The two demons Shadow Fiend and Terrorblade are extremely strong units in the midgame and deal a lot of damage. Since not every demon is used, they usually benefit from their race bonus. Terrorblade also received an update in March that significantly strengthened his ability.
These units are strong:
Razor – Elemental/Mage
Windranger – Elf/Hunter
Lycan – Beast/Warrior
Treant – Elf/Druid
The Razor deals good damage and hits many targets with his attacks. If you upgrade a Razor to level 2 early, it can enable a mage team, which is particularly strong in the midgame. However, you should have eliminated nearly every other player by midgame.
The unit Windranger has strong area damage in the form of her arrow attack if positioned well and shot in the right direction. However, if this arrow goes nowhere, Windranger was useless in the fight. The elf bonus allows evasion and simultaneously strengthens other elves.
Lycan is weak at level 1. However, at the second level, he usually lives long enough to summon his wolves, which deal good damage. As a beast and warrior, he allows good combinations with Tusk and of course other warriors.
The druid Treant can be easily leveled up. As an elf, he can be used to give much-needed evasion chance to Anti-Mage, Windranger and Templar Assassin early on.
You can do without these units:
Lina – Human/Mage
Abaddon – Undead/Knight
Viper – Dragon/Assassin
Venomancer – Beast/Assassin
Riki – Satyr/Assassin (currently removed because too weak)
Sand King – Beast/Assassin (currently removed because too weak)
Lina as a mage suffers from the same problems as Crystal Maiden and Keeper of the Light for 4 gold. Strong in a full mage group in the midgame, but otherwise rather weak.
Abaddon is an average unit himself, but has the disadvantage that the other knights are currently not that strong. Consequently, Abaddon is also neglected.
The unit Viper works well in combination with other assassins and is needed for the dragon bonus. Unless you build your team around it, you don’t need Viper . As a single unit, it’s very weak.
Venomancer is only good if you want to defeat opponents particularly quickly. By spawning additional creatures, you deal more damage to the opponent’s courier. Otherwise, the unit is weak, and you rarely rely on the bonus of all four beasts.
Lina doesn’t make it to the top tier either
The best units for 4 gold
The epic units are almost all really good. However, Medusa and Ork Disruptor are so good that they put some legendary units to shame.
These units are top tier:
Medusa – Naga/Hunter
Lone Druid – Beast/Druid
Ork Disruptor – Orc/Shaman
The Medusa still has an extremely strong CC despite several nerfs. That’s why she’s often used. Particularly at level 2, she can single-handedly decide a duel. As a Naga, she harmonizes excellently with Tidehunter, who also relies on CC.
The Lone Druid has a powerful weapon with his tier companion. As a druid, he can be quickly raised to level 3. Usually, he is also the only unit for 4 or 5 gold to reach this level.
The Ork Disruptor has an AoE silence, contributing to CC as well. Moreover, he is an Ork, which harmonizes wonderfully with the three cheap and also strong Orks. As a shaman, he only needs one more to hex an opponent at the start of the game, which is again CC.
These units are strong:
Kunka – Human/Warrior
Troll Warlord – Troll/Warrior
Doom – Demon/Warrior
Necrophos – Undead/Warlock
Templar Assassin – Elf/Assassin
Kunka, Troll Warlord, and Doom can all work alone, but impress particularly in the combination of warriors. The Troll deals lots of damage, while Kunka hits opponents in AoE with his ship. Doom is a demon and, therefore, takes advantage of his racial benefits.
Necrophos is generally a strong unit but seldom realizes his synergies.
Templar Assassin is also strong on her own, but especially useful in combination with other elves and/or assassins. Usually, you only build on these units when you already possess a Templar Assassin.
Alchemist – Goblin/Warlock
Keeper of the Light – Human/Mage
You can do without these units:
The Alchemist is currently weak, and his skill doesn’t have enough impact on opponents. As a cheaper unit, he might be useful, but his goblin bonus usually comes too late in the game.
Keeper of the Light suffers from the same problems as the other mages.
The Alchemist urgently needs a buff
The best units for 5 gold
In the late game, legendary units come into play. And many of them are really, really strong. Getting a unit to level two can decide a game in some situations.
These units are top tier:
Tidehunter – Naga/Hunter
Enigma – Elemental/Warlock
Lich – Undead/Mage
Techies – Goblin/Mech
The Tidehunter along with Medusa has the strongest CC in the game. Coincidentally, both are Naga and thus increase the magic resistance of all allied units. Additionally, both are hunters and can still deal damage to opponents.
Enigma and Lich are both strong at dealing damage. Both also hit multiple opponents with their abilities.
Techies can place a bomb that hits a large part of the field, dealing damage. He is also a goblin and mech. Even though the bonuses decline in the late game, a strong team can still be formed from them.
These units are strong:
Death Prophet
Gyrocopter – Dwarf/Mech
The two units Death Prophet and Gyrocopter are only slightly weaker than the other four legendaries. Particularly if you’re lacking area damage, Gyrocopter is a good alternative.
You can do without these units:
Legendary units are generally so strong that they displace many others. If you have a weak unit that doesn’t contribute to synergies, you should always replace it with legendary units.
Auto Chess is becoming increasingly popular among streamers, especially among Hearthstone players:
The artifact knowledge for the Heart of Azeroth in World of Warcraft is increasing even further. This means a lot less farming in the coming weeks.
The artifact knowledge in World of Warcraft speeds up the rate at which players can level up their artifact, the Heart of Azeroth. It was thought that the provisional maximum had already been reached, but Blizzard spontaneously changed its plans. In the coming weeks, there will be even more artifact knowledge.
How much artifact knowledge is there? Blizzard announced that the artifact knowledge will increase for four more weeks. Each week (every Wednesday), the necessary amount of artifact power required for the next level will decrease by nearly 30%.
A practical example: Anyone who wants to bring their Heart of Azeroth from level 49 to 50 currently needs about 110,000 artifact power. Those who want to tackle the same in four weeks will only need about 39,000 artifact power.
What does this mean for the player? With the further increase in artifact knowledge, it will be easier for all players to unlock the last traits in their gear. Latecomers will find it a bit easier to level their Heart of Azeroth to a high level to prepare for corresponding endgame content.
No more farming in the future: For the time starting with the Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, Blizzard has announced that farming artifact power will be de-emphasized. This is mainly facilitated by the fact that Azerite gear for the upcoming raid tiers will have lower level requirements. Players should be able to unlock all Azerite bonuses from chest, shoulder, and head gear when they receive the corresponding item.
What do you think of this change? Is it good that artifact knowledge continues to increase? Or does it just devalue the effort you have invested in the game so far?

In Pokémon GO you will not only have the chance to catch a Shiny Celebi through the “GO Snapshot” feature, but also a special Pikachu with a hat. Some players report about it on Reddit – is April Fools’ behind this?
Which Pokémon is currently available? Players report that a Pikachu with an Ash hat is now jumping into the picture. So it’s no longer just Celebi that can be obtained through the “GO Snapshot” feature, but also this special Pikachu.
Moreover, the first players are reporting about the shiny form of Pikachu with this hat. It is the first time it can be caught as Shiny with this hat.
Update April 1st: Pikachu has also arrived in Germany. Here, too, there is the shiny form of this event Pokémon. There seems to be a chance to catch 5 Pikachu throughout the entire day.
Additionally, not only does Pikachu jump into the picture, but also his trainer Ash. This is shown in several screenshots.
How did this come to light? A player from New Zealand reported on Reddit about this catch. Numerous other players are trying it out as well and confirmed it.
Here jumps Pikachu into the picture and not Celebi. Source: Reddit
However, it is noticeable that only players who have already reached April 1st can catch a Pikachu. All others still receive Celebi.
This is what players suspect: It is suspected that Pikachu with a hat as a “photo-bomber” is related to April 1st. Niantic is known for such pranks.
So it is indeed possible that they are planning something again this year. A Pikachu jumping into the picture is very plausible. However, Niantic has not commented on this yet.
This is what the Pokémon looked like during the last April prank.
That’s why this prank is worth it: The prank in the last year 2018 was rather meant to be funny, but not really sensible. However, this year 2019, there can be a benefit from the prank.
Anyone who does not yet have Pikachu with this hat can secure it and add it to their collection.
Additionally, Pikachu is also available as Shiny. Thus, you also have the chance to get a Shiny from the photo feature for the first time.
Can I also do this? In Germany, it is still not possible. If it is indeed an April Fools’ prank, it should be possible here by midnight. If German players report on finding Pikachu beforehand, we will update the article.
So far, it is said that you can receive 5 Pikachu per day. Whether this will only be limited to April 1st remains to be seen.

Patch 8.20 brought radical changes to Fortnite . For some streamers, including Twitch star Ninja, the patch is so bad that they prefer to play Uno instead of Fortnite. In the short term, Uno even became more popular than Fortnite on Twitch.
This patch is about: Patch 8.20 caused a stir in Fortnite. The game changed its rules, which means aggressive gameplay is no longer as heavily rewarded as it was in recent weeks.
For example, you no longer gain a life when you eliminate an opponent and need to farm more materials again.
For many pros, this is a significant and mostly negative change. They can no longer train properly, as the rules for tournaments are not met in the normal mode of Fortnite.
You can’t really train anyway, so why not just play something else?

Thus the UNO hype arose: As a protest against the Fortnite patch and for fun, streamers like Ninja chose to play UNO instead of Fortnite one evening. Ninja’s streamer friends like TimTheTatman and CouRage joined the session as well.
Since it was about money and the streamers actively promoted the stream on social media, a significant hype arose at that moment.
The followers watched along, and briefly UNO even surpassed Fortnite on Twitch.
In the end, there was a settlement of who won and lost how much. TimTheTatman looked like the clear winner.
That’s why Uno is preferred: For many pros, it is practically impossible to train for upcoming tournaments.
The tournament rules, which the pros want to train for the 30 million US dollar WM, currently only exist in the new Arena mode of Fortnite.
However, one has to wait an eternity in the lobby, and much time is wasted by the pros there – should their viewers watch them while they wait?
This is where Ninja is streaming as he plays Uno. Source: Forbes
Alternatively, the streamers can play the normal mode of Fortnite. However, different rules prevail there, and one cannot prepare properly for upcoming tournaments.

Streamer Nickmercs perfectly captures the issue for many players.
What has changed? The latest patch changed quite a bit in the game. In the normal mode, the following changes now exist:
No life or shield points for kills anymore
Farming materials takes significantly longer, as there are 40% fewer resources when harvesting
Eliminated opponents no longer provide 50/50/50 materials
The limit of materials has been increased from 500 to 999
Building in Fortnite has become more difficult again because there are fewer materials.
The game will therefore become significantly more passive again. So far, it was worth it to aggressively rush opponents, as you would receive health points for it. This is no longer the case.
Casual players are also annoyed, as farming materials now takes significantly longer again.

When top streamers switch the game, it has curious effects on Twitch – at least for a few hours.
How does Epic react? There has not yet been a proper reaction to the complaints. In the past, Epic has reacted to such strong criticism and reverted the change.
This would be important for many professional players, as the next Fortnite tournament for 30 million dollars is already in two weeks.
Update 10:40 PM: Meanwhile, the Twitter account of Uno has commented and told Fortnite that they can take their time in reverting the patch.

In The Division 2, there are actually only four factions. But now a developer has revealed that there is actually a fifth faction: players do not notice it at all. Because they are tutorial enemies of the Hyenas, which are later replaced by the stronger version.
This is the 5th faction: The Division 2 does indeed have a 5th faction. Ubisoft has called them the “Tutorial Hyenas” or the “Simple Hyenas.”
The Hyenas are apocalyptic tech freaks on a green drug.
These “Simple Hyenas” are Hyenas that are less capable than the “real Hyena faction.” They do not possess “complex behavior patterns.”
The tutorial faction is significantly easier than the other enemy factions. Source: PcGamesHardware
What is the idea behind it? This is a tutorial faction that only appears in the early missions of the game.
Players are thus presented with “particularly easy” enemies that act more primitively than the real Hyenas.
This is intended to help players get into The Division and familiarize themselves with the game.
What happens to the Simple Hyenas? The faction is “hidden” – players are not supposed to notice that they are fighting “tutorial enemies.”
The “Simple Hyenas” are replaced after the first missions and battles with the “real Hyenas,” and ideally, the player does not notice this at all.
The new Hyenas then use more complex attack patterns and the faction traits of the “real Hyenas.”
That’s how it was in The Division 1 – factions always got stronger. Source: PcGamesHardware
Tutorial Hyenas are the answer to changes in the factions
Why is Massive doing this? In The Division 1, the enemy factions got stronger over time: the initial “Rioters” were weak in complexity and remained the “weakest faction” throughout the game.
Rioters acted less tactically. They used more primitive techniques and simpler strategies.
The enemy faction and their behavior grew with the players in The Division 1 and became stronger and more sophisticated.
The downside was that in the endgame, the “weaker” factions hardly appeared anymore, and only the “Last Man Battalion” was deployed to present a challenge to players.
The advantage of this system is that in the endgame of The Division 2, agents can now fight against all factions, creating variety – except of course against the “Simple Hyenas,” they only appear at the beginning.
Where does the information come from? At the developer conference GDC, AI expert Drew Rechner held a talk.
In 2019, he held a follow-up talk and explained what has changed in The Division 2 and how Massive has improved the AI. The talk was titled “Sequelitis: Creating Combat NPCs for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.”
He also did this in 2018 for The Division and presented how the “artificial intelligence” behaves – that is, why the enemies do what they do. (via youTube)

The German site PcGamesHardware listened to the talk and reports on it.
The 3rd limited research events are over and Pokémon GO shows how they listened to the player base at this event. Our author Noah is excited about the new event series.
Why are the limited researches a success? This event series is particularly successful because it differs from the usual events:
One must focus on the quests, which is otherwise not the case.
Furthermore, Niantic listens to the players and continuously adjusts this event.
This is why I enjoy this event series so much
I like this approach: I already liked the general idea behind this event. One must focus on the field researches and not just on catching or raiding. It is a refreshing change from everyday gameplay.
The limited researches with Loturzel were well received.
This distinguishes this event series from others: The Community Days, which take place monthly, attract almost all players. There are many Shinies and countless Pokémon to catch.
In my opinion, the limited researches even make it better. There are numerous Shinies, but the event itself is a whole different experience:
During the Perlu Day there was double Stardust and many water spawns.
During the current event with Loturzel, there was also a new Shiny in the wild and many more spawns with weather bonus.
It’s worth it doubly, as you not only get the opportunity for many Shinies but also an event with many surrounding spawns.
This is how Niantic improved the event series: With the limited researches, Niantic has done many things right. The start with Barschwa was rather mixed. Many players complained about too few Shinies and a short event duration. Now much has changed again:
The Perlu Day was already a strong improvement in my eyes because it had more Shinies and easier quests.
Niantic is staying the course: After the criticism regarding the Barschwa Day, Niantic did not let it get to them and brought out such an event again. They responded to the criticism and fundamentally improved the idea.
Even after the positive feedback from the Perlu Day, there were further improvements. The event now lasted 9 hours instead of 3. This allowed even more players to participate.
The Perlu event was also well received.
This is why this event series is better than others: I am also a fan of Community Days, but I like the limited researches even more. Throughout the month, the focus is on catching and raiding, and in this event, one must complete particularly many quests, which otherwise tend to take a back seat.
I also like this monthly rhythm. It’s much better than these weekly events, which sometimes even overlap. With the limited researches, you have everything: cool quests, many Shinies, extraordinary spawns, and above all, a lot of fun.
What do other players say? I am not alone in my opinion. Many players in my community, as well as on Reddit or Twitter, share my opinion. Especially the extended event times for this event were well received.
I didn’t have time to play all afternoon, but I was able to play for an hour in the evening and catch a Shiny. I’m really satisfied.
How should it proceed? It should continue just like this! They could raise the Shiny rate of the event Pokémon to a similar level as with the Perlu Day, but other than that, I am very satisfied.
My highlight from the event: A 100% IV Shiny Loturzel
I look forward to more limited researches in April and hope that Niantic continues to listen to the player base.
Perhaps the Community Day in April with Kindwurm will be a similar success:
What do we know about the story? At the center of the story of Borderlands 3 are the two villains seen in the trailer: the Calypso twins, Troy and Tyreen.
One of the strongholds of the sect “Children of the Vault” is shown in the trailer.
The two rule over a cult called “Children of the Vault” and possess supernatural powers. Tyreen is a Siren, but Troy also seems to have Siren abilities, even though he is a man.
Fans speculate that the twins are capable of stealing the powers of other Sirens. The reason for this is a scene in the trailer where we see Lilith lying on the ground without her Siren tattoos. In contrast, the twins in the background do have glowing tattoos.
Lilith lies on the ground, her Siren tattoos are missing from her left arm.
There should also be multiple Vaults in Borderlands 3, which you will need to find. You will be supported by many familiar faces.
Characters like Tiny Tina, Moxxy, and Sir Hammerlock are back in Borderlands 3.
Who are the playable characters? Typically, players in Borderlands 3 will be able to choose from four new playable characters.
Zane is a sort of Borderlands Batman. He is a wealthy guy who operates with gadgets and tools. He can set traps and create distractions, like Zero in Borderlands 2.
Flak is a robot who can summon various pet companions for assistance. In the trailer, we see him with a Skag, for example. Each of his pets is supposed to have its own move set.
Moze is a soldier who controls a huge mech in combat. In the trailer, we see that other characters will be able to climb onto the mech and operate the machine gun on its back.
Amara is the traditional Siren in the team. She can summon huge extra arms for powerful physical attacks and possesses additional Siren abilities.
From left to right: Amara, Flak, Moze, and Zane.
Each character will be able to use more than just one active ability. Original Vault Hunters Maya, Lilith, Mordecai, Zero, and Brick also appear in the trailer but will likely not be playable.
Where does Borderlands 3 take place? The main setting of BL3 is still the planet Pandora. However, it seems that other planets will also be visitable.
In the trailer, it was mentioned that players would explore multiple “worlds.” You can see various environment types, starting with the classic wasteland of Pandora, to a futuristic metropolis.
The founder of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford, also spoke during the PAX conference about how the switch to Unreal Engine 4 has enabled new physics simulations:
There could be different physics, and the sun and moons may be positioned differently than what we are used to on Pandora.
Fans speculate that in Borderlands 3, we might visit Promethea for the first time. The weapon company Atlas discovered alien technology there for the first time.
In Fortnite , developers Epic introduced a new vehicle a few weeks ago: the “Kugler” is a kind of oversized hamster ball. What was intended as a fun vehicle threatens to dominate “serious” Fortnite. The only solution is the Boogie Bomb as a counter item.
What kind of device is this? The Update 8.1 on March 12 brought the vehicle “Kugler” to Fortnite.
It’s a glass sphere that a pilot can sit in. With a “grabber,” they can grab around and move quickly.
Here was the first reaction: When players were still unaware of how the Kugler worked, the reaction was rather cautious.
This is how it is now: The amazing thing is that the “Kugler” has now found its way into competitive play of Fortnite, in the Fortnite esports.
There, the best gamers play for a pile of money. They are currently preparing for the Fortnite World Cup 2019, where 30 million US dollars will be at stake.
In esports, every team strives to get the most out of Fortnite and to find the best strategies. They evaluate every new item in Fortnite to see which ones provide the most advantages.
Professionals are currently training specifically with the Kugler because it gives them enormous advantages. In the endgame with the Kugler, you have a protective wall, can escape extremely quickly from tricky situations, and are incredibly agile.
Not only relies on weapons, but also uses the Kugler: Tfue.
Pro player Tfue uses the Kugler to protect himself in the endgame:
Those without a Kugler are easy targets and will be eliminated
those with a Kugler can survive for a long time. Because hardly anyone takes the time to destroy the glass first before they can then deal damage to the player.
This is the counter against Kugler: A counter against the Kugler has indeed been found – but this is actually a curiosity.
In fact, “Boogie Bombs” are now a popular means in the endgame of Fortnite.
Because the actual fun item that forces players to dance, takes people out of the hamster ball and makes them vulnerable.

Epic dissatisfied with the role of the hamster ball
This is what Epic wants to do: Epic has also noticed that the Kugler is extremely strong in the endgame and wants to intervene.
With one of the next patches, 8.30, Kugler pilots should be able to be shot through the glass.
But for the moment the Kugler seems to be even stronger because with the latest patch damage from traps first applies to the Kugler before the damage hits the player.
Many already found airplanes too harsh – but the Kugler has become just as important for professionals.
This is what it’s all about: The interesting thing is that fun items that the average player often leaves behind, like “Boogie Bombs” suddenly become meta-relevant items in the hands of professionals.
Here in the clip, Tfue scolds his partner “Cloak” for underestimating the importance of Boogie Bombs. He left one behind himself and was then killed by a Boogie Bomb – which leads Tfue to jokingly yell at his friend. Cloak takes it quite lightly.

In Apex Legends, there are several different types of ammunition. A developer has now provided insights into how these types work: In fact, they don’t differ as much as some players thought. However, energy ammunition behaves differently.
What are the differences? The developer Sean Slayback answered some questions about the game on Twitter and also addressed the question about ammunition.
Surprisingly, the types don’t differ as much as assumed. This particularly surprises players who have made a science out of choosing ammunition.
What has been said about the ammunition types
This is what the developer wrote: Slayback was asked three things about the ammunition types on Twitter. The developer answered all of them, sparking discussions.
Question: I heard that heavy ammunition slows down the opponent. Is that true?
Answer: All types of ammunition slow down the opponent when you hit them with it
Question: Is it true that light ammunition weakens the opponent’s shield?
Answer: Energy ammunition has no extra piercing power against shields
Question: Does energy ammunition have no bullet drop?
Answer: Energy ammunition has the highest velocity and is not slowed down
The ammunition does not influence the game as much as expected.
What does that mean? Many players have always come up with specific theories when choosing ammunition. However, the developer’s answers show that there is significantly less behind the types of ammunition in Apex Legends than the legends suggest.
So all ammunition slows the opponent, and no specific ammunition weakens the shield. These findings were previously unknown. Now we have confirmation.
Are there still differences? There are definitely still differences between the ammunition types. They are just not as significant as expected.
The YouTuber “staycation” illustrates in his video how the ammunition types differ:

In Destiny 2 there has been a new endgame activity since Season 6 – the Reckoning. The third stage proves to be particularly challenging for Guardians. In our guide, we show you which weapons and subclasses are best suited for each of the 3 phases of the Reckoning.
This is how the Reckoning works: The Reckoning is a fast-paced PvE mode where you must fight against numerous hordes of Taken enemies. To complete the activity, you need to overcome 3 phases. It mainly involves defeating as many enemies as possible in the shortest amount of time.
There are three modifiers that change weekly. One of them is a scorching modifier that increases either all Void, Solar, or Arc damage. Additionally, there are two other modifiers that change daily.
These are the daily modifiers of the Reckoning:
Heavyweight: Power ammo drop rate is tripled, power weapons deal double damage.
Prism: Rotates between the three elements. When the respective element is active, your dealt damage increases significantly while the damage of other elements is reduced. Kinetic damage and incoming damage are unaffected.
Blackout: Radar is disabled and enemies deal significantly increased melee damage.
Bruiser: The charge rate and damage of melee attacks are doubled.
Grenadier: The charge rate and damage of grenade abilities are doubled.
Friction: Health regeneration is significantly slower. Defeated enemies drop health orbs.
In the Reckoning, you can wager particles to get Gambit Prime gear.
What power level do you need? The Reckoning at Stage 3 recommends a power level of 690 – and you need to be at least 680 to start the mode at all. Additionally, you must upgrade your synthesizer with the Wanderer to Stage 3.
In the following section, we will show you which subclasses and weapon setups are best for each phase of the Reckoning.
[toc]
Phase 1: Show Dominance
This is what you have to do: In the first phase of the Reckoning, you need to defeat as many enemies as possible to maintain your dominance. The more dominant you are, meaning the more kills you make as a team, the higher the percentage increases. If you defeat few enemies, your dominance disappears, and the percentage decreases. The goal is to reach 100 percent before the timer runs out.
To start the Reckoning, you must jump into this pit.
In between, mini-bosses spawn. If you defeat them, they give you a small boost to your dominance. If your dominance is high enough, you will need to defeat one last Taken boss before you can proceed to the next section.
These subclasses are suitable for Phase 1
These Hunter classes are the best:
Nightstalker with “Way of the Trapper” and the exotic leg armor “Orpheus Rig”
Arcstriders with the exotic chest armor “Raiden Flux”
Gunslingers with the “Way of the Outlaw”
With these setups, you can take out many enemies with your Super. The Nightstalker with the Orpheus Rig is generally very good for debuffing multiple enemies at once and also generates many orbs of light.
This is what “Orpheus Rig” does: With this leg armor, you get Super energy back for every enemy bound by the “Shadowshot”.
With Arc Scorch, it is worth switching to Arcstrider. With the exotic armor, you can stay in your Super for a long time and clear the entire map with enhanced damage. During the Bruiser modifier, your Arc staff is even stronger.
This is what “Raiden Flux” does: Rapid consecutive attacks with the Arc staff increase damage output and duration of the Super.
If Solar Scorch is active, you can use your recently upgraded Golden Gun as a Gunslinger to blast through many enemies. As long as you get kills, you continuously get your shots back. This Super is particularly good because it can instantly destroy distant enemies.
Voidwalkers with “Chaos Rift” and the exotic helmet “Skull of Dire Ahamkara”
Dawnblades with “Grace of the Dawn” and the exotic chest armor “Phoenix Protocol”
Stormcallers with “Storm Control” and the exotic leg armor “Geomag Stabilizers”
Generally speaking, the Voidwalker with the exotic helmet proves to be the most efficient Taken killer. Especially while Void Scorch is active, you can repeatedly launch enemy groups and mini-bosses into the air with Void explosions.
This is what “Skull of Dire Ahamkara” does: Provides additional damage resistance while activating the Nova Bomb. Kills with the Nova Bomb return Super energy.
The Voidwalker proves to be particularly strong in the Reckoning.
With the Grace of the Dawn, you can support your teammates and stay in the fight longer. Make sure to place the Well of Radiance reasonably centrally so you can defeat enemies from different directions.
This is what “Phoenix Protocol” does: Kills and assists while standing in the Well of Radiance return Super energy.
The Stormcaller is particularly helpful during Arc Scorch. With Chaos Reach, you can deal decent damage to mini-bosses and effectively wipe out enemy groups. The exotic leg armor helps you get more out of your Super.
This is what the “Geomag Stabilizers” do: When the Super meter is almost full, it is completely filled by sprinting. When you deal damage to enemies with Chaos Reach, the duration is extended.
These Titan classes are the best:
Sentinels with the “Code of the Commander” and the exotic arms “Doombringer Shoulder Armor”
Strikers with the “Code of the Juggernaut” and the exotic helmet “An Unyielding Skullfort”
Sunbreakers with the “Code of the Forgewrought” and the exotic chest armor “Mark of Alpha Lupi”
Sentinels with the exotic arms can maintain their Super for longer, promising higher kill potential. Through the small explosions of “Void Suppressors” from the Code of the Commander, you can eliminate whole groups of enemies with just a few shield strikes. This is especially helpful during Void Scorch.
This is what the “Doombringer Shoulder Armor” does: Void melee kills grant Super energy. While “Sentinel Shield” is active, melee kills recharge the shield throw, which extends the Super on hits.
If Arc Scorch is active, the recently improved Juggernaut Code is a great choice for staying in the Super for a long time and sweeping many enemies away with your knee. Especially during the Bruiser modifier, this subclass is highly recommended. The exotic helmet helps you stay alive.
This is what “An Unyielding Skullfort” does: Kills with Arc melee abilities trigger health regeneration and restore melee energy.
Sunbreakers are particularly effective in Solar Scorch with their hammers as good Taken killers. With your melee ability “Hammer Strike”, you can help your team eliminate mini-bosses faster. Optionally, you can equip the Mark of Alpha Lupi to support your teammates.
This is what the “Mark of Alpha Lupi” does: Generates additional orbs of light through Supers and a healing pulse when activating a barricade.
This is what you need to know: In the Reckoning, it is mainly about the so-called “Super Juggling”. This means that you should chain your Super abilities together to provide each other with orbs of light. This way, you can constantly refill your Supers and use them more often.
These weapon setups are suitable for Phase 1
Which weapons are good for Phase 1? Generally, weapons that allow you to quickly eliminate many groups of enemies at various distances are suitable. Here are some examples of setups that are particularly strong.
This is why these weapons are good: The “Halsbruch” is still one of the best PvE weapons in the kinetic slot and helps you deal with many enemies. The well-known “IKELOS” and “Threat Level” shotguns are always very good at quickly taking down tough foes.
The new star of the Reckoning is the exotic submachine gun “Ignited Orchid”. It excels not only in Arc Scorch but also offers a protection mechanism against Arc attacks from the Taken thanks to its exotic perk, making it a good choice.
The exotic fusion rifle “Telesto” is particularly good in Void Scorch. Since enemies appear in smaller groups during Phase 1, you can achieve many multi-kills without needing to reload. If you have the catalyst for it, you even generate orbs of light for your teammates.
Things to keep in mind: Always keep an eye on the weekly Scorch modifier before starting the Reckoning.
Depending on the element, you can adjust your setup accordingly. In the power slot, you can also equip the Avalanche, which is the only heavy machine gun from the Dawning event with a Solar property. When Arc week is on, you may also want to equip the Thunderlord or the new Gambit pinnacle weapon “21% Delirium”.
You can also make an impact with these weapons: The exotic hand cannon “Dienstvergehen” is particularly strong against Taken. If your entire team equips this weapon, you can melt the mini-bosses in no time.
If you are one of the lucky PvP players who already own the new pinnacle weapon “Solitude”, it is recommended to take this one into the Reckoning as well. Especially during Void Scorch, this weapon is a powerful means for pest control.
The Solitude increases its damage after each weapon kill.
If you are looking for an alternative to the Wardcliff Coil, you can also use the Two-Tailed Fox. The exotic rocket launcher is great for erasing enemy groups in one or two shots. During the Prism modifier, you can deal massive damage to bosses with this weapon, both with enhanced Void damage and enhanced Solar damage.
The exotic fusion rifle “One Thousand Voices” from the Last Wish Raid is one of the best Power weapons in every activity. During Solar Scorch, you can comfortably wipe the entire map without having to move much. This weapon is ideal for every phase of the Reckoning.
These team setups are suitable for Phase 1
What team setups should be used? If you have a team and can communicate, you should coordinate your subclasses to support each other and generate as many orbs of light as possible.
These are the best team setups:
A Nightstalker with “Way of the Trapper” and the exotic leg armor “Orpheus Rig”
A Voidwalker with the “Chaos Rift” and the exotic helm “Skull of Dire Ahamkara”
A Dawnblade with the “Grace of the Dawn” and the exotic chest armor “Phoenix Protocol”
A Striker with the “Code of the Juggernaut” and the exotic helm “An Unyielding Skullfort”
With this constellation, you can swiftly eliminate many enemies, regardless of which modifier is currently active.
The task of the Voidwalker and the Striker is to land as many kills as possible with their Supers. The Nightstalker and the Dawnblade support them with their support-heavy Super abilities.
In the Reckoning, you enter the Unknown Space: The territory of the Nine.
If you placed a raid banner at the beginning of the Reckoning, you start with full Super abilities and can immediately begin destroying and chaining your Super abilities.
Tip: There are pauses between the sections where you can switch your subclass and equip other weapons. Use this to your advantage and adjust your character for the upcoming phase. However, once someone enters the next section, the timer starts. This strategy usually only works in a closed fireteam.
This is what you have to do: In this section, you need to fight your way across the “Absurd Bridge” in stages. There are 6 zones that you must capture one after the other. Meanwhile, hordes of Taken thralls and mini-bosses will swarm towards you.
The mini-bosses are particularly tough at Stage 3 and require your team’s full attention.
The Absurd Bridge
Be careful not to be pushed off the bridge, as you will have to wait on the respawn timer and lose valuable time. Due to the limited time, the death of a team member usually means the end for the entire group.
These subclasses are suitable for Phase 2
These Hunter classes are the best:
Nighthawk with “Way of the Trapper” and the exotic leg armor “Orpheus Rig”
Gunslingers with the “Way of a Thousand Cuts” and the exotic arms “Galanor Fragments”
This Hunter class is a must-have: The Nightstalker with the “Orpheus Rig” is essential for this phase. With the Shadowshot, you can significantly weaken all enemies and slow down the annoying Taken thralls. This Super is particularly important for the mini-bosses that are approaching; if they are bound by the Shadowshot, you can take them out as quickly as possible.
With the Gunslinger and the “Galanor Fragments”, you can deal crucial damage against the bosses. Since all enemies come from one direction, you can hit as many as possible with Blade Barrage.
This is what the “Galanor Fragments” do: Hits and kills with Blade Barrage grant Super energy shortly after the Super ends.
With the Super ability “Blade Barrage”, you can wipe out many enemies at once.
These Warlock classes are the best:
Voidwalkers with the “Chaos Rift” and the exotic helmet “Skull of Dire Ahamkara”
Dawnblades with the “Grace of the Dawn” and the exotic chest armor “Phoenix Protocol”
Voidwalkers with the “Skull of Dire Ahamkara” are good for quickly taking down the approaching mini-bosses. The exotic helmet is particularly important for this section.
This Warlock class is a must-have: Dawnblades with the Well of Radiance are even more important. In the second phase of the Reckoning, you will take damage from all sides while defeating many strong enemies. Therefore, the Super is required for both offensive and defensive use.
The Absurd Bridge seems to be made for this Super, as there is a cube at each zone where you can dunk your blade. The exotic chest armor “Phoenix Protocol” ensures that you also have enough Super energy for each zone.
The Well of Radiance made all PvE activities significantly easier.
These Titan classes are the best:
Sentinels with the “Code of the Commander” and the exotic arms “Ursa Furiosa”
Sentinels with the “Code of the Protector” and the exotic helm “Helm of the 14th Saint”
Sunbreakers with the “Code of the Devastator” and the exotic arms “Synthoceps”
With the Code of the Commander, you can use the block function of your Super to protect your team from damage while simultaneously strengthening them. Thralls passing through the shield will be marked with a “Void Suppressor”, which will then cause a small Void explosion. This way, you don’t have to worry about each one of them individually.
This is what “Ursa Furiosa” does: You can move faster while blocking when Sentinel Shield is active. Damage taken while blocking is converted into Super energy after the Super ends.
The Sentinel proves to be particularly effective during Void Scorch.
If you don’t have a Well of Radiance available, the Code of the Protector is also quite effective for safely capturing the zones. When you hold the Super button longer with this talent tree, you place the shield dome “Dusk’s Protection”. The exotic helmet makes your dome even more effective.
This is what the “Helm of the 14th Saint” does: Enemies that enter the Dusk Protection are blinded temporarily. Allies passing through gain an overshield. Blocking with the Sentinel Shield blinds nearby enemies.
During Solar Scorch, the Super of the Devastator Titan is quite effective on the bridge. Due to its straightforward attacks, you can also damage distant enemies while trampling everything in your vicinity. The exotic arms make your Super even more powerful.
This is what the “Synthoceps” do: Melee jump distance is increased. When surrounded, the damage of the Super and melee attacks is increased.
These weapon setups are suitable for Phase 2
Which weapons are good for Phase 2? Here you need weapons that can quickly deal a lot of damage. Your biggest challenge will be the bulky mini-bosses that you have to stop among the swarms of thralls. Additionally, there are Taken snipers that can deal a deadly shot from a distance.
This is why these weapons are good: To quickly take down the mini-bosses, the power shotgun “Legende von Acrius” from the Leviathan Raid and the new top shotgun, “Lord of Wolves” are the best choices. Depending on the Scorch modifier, you can use one of them. The exotic “Tractor Cannon” provides a third option.
On the Absurd Bridge, hordes of Taken thralls rush towards you.
A good Void combo: The Tractor Cannon works excellently with the Nova bombs of the Voidwalker, as it makes the affected enemy more susceptible to Void damage. For this reason, the “Ignited Orchid” is recommended in the second setup (B). This hand cannon also has Void damage and can come with the surrounded perk.
This is what the Surrounded perk does: This weapon receives a 40% damage bonus when three or more enemies are nearby. With the weapon mod “Surrounded Spec”, this damage increases to 55% and lasts longer.
This perk is particularly good for Phase 2 of the Reckoning, as you are always within circles and thus always surrounded by enemies. The sword “Strykers Vermächtnis” and the shotgun “Threat Level” can also roll with this perk, which is why they are also recommended.
The scout rifle “Wandlung” from the Last Wish Raid is good for quickly taking down the annoying Taken snipers with a few shots due to its high range. The same goes for the pulse rifle “Hochofen” from the Schwarze Waffenkammer. However, these weapons are not necessarily crucial. For the kinetic slot, you can use your preferred distance weapon.
You can also make an impact with these weapons: Alternatively, you can use the exotic weapon “Jötunn”. This weapon has a short charge time and is equally effective for heavily hitting mini-bosses and quickly taking out the snipers. Especially during Solar Scorch, this fusion rifle deals significant damage.
If you do not own the “Legende von Acrius”, you can also use the exotic Arc grenade launcher “The Prospector“. This weapon is particularly strong nowadays and provides a lot of DPS – even without Arc Scorch. Just be careful not to blow yourself up with the grenades.
The trick with the Sleeper Simulant: If the charge time on the Sleeper Simulant does not bother you, this weapon is definitely worth your power slot. With the notorious boss killer, you can apply a specific trick to deal bonus damage to the mini-bosses.
All you need to do is aim at the ground beneath the opponent so that the laser beam splits. With the correct execution, you can hit large boss enemies multiple times with a single shot and deal massive damage.
The Sleeper Simulant: A legend among power weapons.
You can also take down the Taken snipers with the exotic linear fusion rifle. However, ask yourself if you really want to waste your power ammo on that.
Fun but effective: Those of you who managed to get the exotic grenade launcher “Anarchy” in the “Scourge of the Past” raid should definitely give it a try in the second phase. With the chaining mechanic of the sticky grenades, you can effectively barricade the bridge and set up an electric fence for your enemies. This weapon is especially optimal for the Absurd Bridge when Arc Scorch and Heavyweight are active.
These team setups are suitable for Phase 2
Which team setup matters here? In Phase 2, it is even more important to be synchronized as a team, as every second counts. If you do not have a Dawnblade available, the Sentinel Titan with the Dusk Protection is a good alternative for safely capturing the zones.
These are the best team setups for Phase 2:
A Nightstalker with “Way of the Trapper” and the exotic leg armor “Orpheus Rig”
A Voidwalker with the “Chaos Rift” and the exotic helm “Skull of Dire Ahamkara”
A Dawnblade with the “Grace of the Dawn” and the exotic chest armor “Phoenix Protocol”
A Sentinel Titan with the “Code of the Commander” and the exotic arms “Ursa Furiosa”.
With this constellation, you can safely secure the zones. The Dawnblade should place the Well of Radiance immediately after entering a new zone. The Nightstalker should keep the opponents at bay with the Shadowshot in the meantime.
As a Nightstalker, you need to keep a close eye on the enemies. In this phase, mini-bosses spawn in front and behind the zones. Therefore, you should always have a Shadowshot ready for both sides.
On the Absurd Bridge, you must not make a mistake: Every second within the zone is vital for survival.
The task of the Voidwalker is clear: Nova bombs, Nova bombs, Nova bombs. However, do not forget to stay within the zone. Exiting the zone for too long can have fatal consequences.
The Sentinel’s task is to repel enemy attacks and shots with his banner shield and shield his teammates. As a Sentinel, pay special attention to the Taken snipers and adjust the position of your shield accordingly. Occasionally, you can throw a shield to sweep away some thralls and place Void Suppressors on the boss enemies.
If Solar Scorch is active, it is advisable to bring a Gunslinger with the “Way of a Thousand Cuts” instead of a Sentinel Titan. Equipped with the “Galanor Fragments”, this class can deal significant damage with its Super.
Phase 3: The Pit
Note: The third phase of the Reckoning is in a weekly rotation. As the final phase, there is either the Pit or the fight against the Shadow of Oryx.
This is what you have to do: After you step through the portal, you find yourself in a dark pit. In it, you must defeat two Ascendant Knights that constantly rush at you. To deal damage to them, you first need to defeat a marked enemy. This enemy is hiding in one of the dark corners of the pit.
Once you have defeated the marked enemy, he leaves a bluish field on the ground.
This grants you a buff similar to the Well of Radiance. Be careful not to stay at the same spot for too long, as the Knights can easily overpower you. When their health bar reaches the last quarter, they lose their helmets and become even more aggressive.
It is recommended to focus on one Knight at a time. Once you take one down, the second becomes an easier challenge.
Note: There is a black pool around you. Avoid stepping into the water as it slowly drains your Super energy.
These subclasses are suitable for Phase 3
These Hunter classes are the best:
Nighthawk with “Way of the Trapper” and the exotic leg armor “Orpheus Rig”
Gunslingers with the “Way of a Thousand Cuts” and the exotic arms “Galanor Fragments”
These Warlock classes are the best:
Voidwalkers with the “Chaos Rift” and the exotic helm “Skull of Dire Ahamkara”
Dawnblades with the “Grace of the Dawn” and the exotic chest armor “Phoenix Protocol”
Stormcallers with the “Storm Control” and the exotic leg armor “Geomag Stabilizers”
These Titan classes are the best:
Sentinels with the “Code of the Commander” and the exotic arms “Ursa Furiosa”
Sunbreakers with the “Code of the Forgewrought”
Strikers with the “Code of the Rocket”
If Arc Scorch is active, it is worthwhile to also engage with the new Striker class. With its Super ability, Thundercrash, you can deal devastating damage. Under tight circumstances, this can be the decisive blow against the Knights. If you master the directional control of this Super, you can even hit both at once.
Power is everything: In this phase, it is essential to deal as much damage as quickly as possible to the Ascendant Knights. Since you do not have much time, you will primarily use your power weapons and Super abilities. Due to this reason, your primary weapons are secondary. The primary weapons from the recommended setups serve only as examples.
These team setups are suitable for Phase 3
A Nightstalker with “Way of the Trapper” and the exotic leg armor “Orpheus Rig”
A Voidwalker with the “Chaos Rift” and the exotic helm “Skull of Dire Ahamkara”
A Dawnblade with the “Grace of the Dawn” and the exotic chest armor “Phoenix Protocol”
A Gunslinger with the “Way of a Thousand Cuts” and the exotic arms “Galanor Fragments”
Phase 3: The Shadow of Oryx
This is what you have to do: In this section, you must face a well-known enemy from Destiny 1. At least, the shadow variant of it. You have 4 minutes for the battle against the Shadow of Oryx. While Oryx teleports from one corner of the platform to another, additional Taken will appear, including big ogres.
All you need to do in this section is to deal enough damage. After some time, Oryx will activate a countdown. If this reaches zero, he will unleash a devastating attack that inflicts heavy damage to your entire team. To prevent this, you must deal enough damage within the time.
Note: Do not go into the golden chalices that Oryx often teleports to. Just like the black water in the pit phase, these will drain your valuable Super energy.
These subclasses are suitable for Phase 3
These Hunter classes are the best:
Nighthawk with “Way of the Trapper” and the exotic leg armor “Orpheus Rig”
Gunslingers with the “Way of the Sniper” and the exotic helm “Celestial Nighthawk”
As this phase is mainly a boss fight, precise Gunslingers can choose the “Way of the Sniper” to deal a massive amount of damage with the Golden Gun. The exotic helm dramatically increases the effectiveness of your Super.
This is what the “Celestial Nighthawk” does: Modifies the Golden Gun to fire a single shot that deals 6 times damage. Enemies defeated by the shot explode and return Super energy.
Ammunition is important: In this boss fight, you must deal as much damage to the Shadow of Oryx as quickly as possible. It is advisable to save your power ammo until this point. Try to eliminate smaller enemies, such as the Taken Psions, exclusively with your primary weapons, so that you have enough special and power ammo left for the boss.
Things to pay attention to: In this phase, timing is crucial. Wait with your Nova Bomb and Blade Barrage until the Nightstalker has fired his Shadowshot. If you activate these Super abilities too early, it could have fatal effects on your damage output.
As a Nightstalker and a Dawnblade, you also have to be careful with your Super activation. The Shadow of Oryx might teleport away exactly when you activated your Well of Radiance or your Shadowshot.
That’s it! The Mein-MMO team wishes you good luck in the Reckoning!

We have compiled 6 MMOs and online games that launched with a rocky start and were harshly criticized. However, these games worked on themselves and managed to turn things around.
One of the biggest advantages of “Games as a Service” games is that they are adaptable. The following games needed a transformation badly, as they initially had a rough launch after their release. This could have cost them their existence.
However, these games managed to turn the tide. Here are their stories.
Warframe
What kind of game is Warframe? The free MMO shooter is developed by Digital Extremes and is set in a futuristic setting. Warframe has a strong focus on coop, community, and fast-paced gameplay.
Players can choose from nearly 40 Warframes with unique skills to free the solar system from contaminated monsters, fascist clones, and greedy corporations. Warframe is one of the most popular free-to-play games and is known for its harmonious community.
Release: 03/25/2013 (PC), 11/25/2013 (PS4), 09/02/2014 (Xbox One), 11/20/2018 (Nintendo Switch) Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch Year of Turnaround: 2015
When Warframe was released in 2013, the Free2Play model was still unusual for major publishers in the West. However, the indie studio Digital Extremes decided to adopt this business model at that time.
Warframe was meant to be financed solely through microtransactions. The problem was that Digital Extremes built hard payment barriers into the game:
In the closed beta, Warframe could be played for free up to the level cap. Once reached, players had to pay to continue playing.
Similarly, there were gameplay-relevant mechanics hidden behind paywalls. Players could revive four times a day. After that, a revival had to be paid for with real money.
This is what Warframe looked like in the Closed Beta in 2013
Although many critics agreed that Warframe had exciting gameplay at its core, it was not yet fully developed at that point:
The movement was choppy and the enemies provided poor hit feedback.
It was unclear what needed to be done at all. There were no mission markers.
It was also said that the activities were too repetitive. At that time, there were only three Warframes and a few linear levels.
At that time, Warframe received mediocre and poor reviews from critics. For example, Eurogamer only gave it a 4/10, and GameStar was not very fond of Warframe either, although they acknowledged the online shooter had potential. Other reviews were similar.
The payment barriers were hated among players, and the still clunky gameplay could not even justify them. Warframe was at risk of flopping hard and quickly losing its player base.

How did Warframe solve its problem?
Despite the criticism and the paywalls, a core group of players who loved Warframe formed back then. They found the gameplay fantastic and wanted to see the Free2Play shooter grow. The community at that time asked the developers to remove the paywalls.
Now, Digital Extremes faced a pretty tough decision in 2015. In an interview with Gamesindustry, the vice president once mentioned that this decision should forever influence the DNA of Warframe:
They chose to listen to the community and remove the paywalls, which was a frightening step for the studio. They now sought other ways to finance themselves with microtransactions.
This very decision was the turning point for Warframe. The community felt understood by Digital Extremes and helped promote the game. There was a Founder’s Pack available in 2012-2013, offered for a whopping €225, which included the exclusive Warframe Excalibur Prime.
Excalibur Prime – When players see this exclusive Warframe, you can still observe them bowing before him.
From then on, Warframe worked on a fair Free2Play model and gave players the choice to voluntarily pay for the game.
At Digital Extremes, they now wanted to give the community a voice and decision-making power.
A close bond formed between the community and the studio, as players felt heard and respected. This bond should shape Warframe to this day, 6 years later, and save it from flop.
Additionally, a new movement system was introduced in 2015 that gave players unparalleled agility: Parkour 2.0 – this was very well received by the players and became a hallmark of Warframe.
The payment model has remained fair. Those who wish can pay for things like cosmetic items or to speed up the crafting of items. There is even a level cap for certain items so that players cannot simply buy them too early.
For its future, Warframe pursues a different goal than genre-related Destiny 2 or The Division 2:
FIFA 20 will be released in the fall. What the new installment needs to do better than FIFA 19 and what innovations fans wish for can be found here.
There is currently no concrete information about FIFA 20. However, EA hinted in their latest quarterly report that we can expect major innovations for this year’s football simulation.
This is what Blake Jorgensen, CFO of EA, says:
„In fiscal year 2020, we will continue to supply our sports games with innovations. Particularly, FIFA 20 will receive significant new features, and we plan for both FIFA and FIFA Ultimate Team to continue to grow throughout the year.”
Update on 22.06.2019: We now know what changes EA was referring to. You can read the post here:
Unfortunately, no specific features are mentioned. But a few things come to mind that we FIFA players would like to see in FIFA 20, right?
The Career Mode is collecting dust
Here’s the problem: Fans have been wishing for a completely revamped Career Mode for years. The mode only receives minor changes year after year, which are mostly not worth mentioning.
Introduction of youth leagues: Youth leagues in Career Mode would allow young players to gain playing experience and improve. This would be much more realistic than before and much more practical for the manager’s daily routine.
Better transfer behavior of the CPU: It is often extremely difficult to sell players. The CPU clubs simply have no interest in the players on our transfer list. Thus, we wish for increased/realistic interest in the players we want to offload.
Online Career Mode: Many FIFA players surely know this: Playing against the computer loses its appeal over time. Especially when the CPU does not pose a challenge even at world class level. Online matches would be the solution. The NHL and NFL games set the example; in the so-called “Connected Career,” it is possible to compete against strangers or friends.
Pro Clubs needs more attention
Here’s the problem: The mode has many loyal followers who would like to see more love and features from EA. Unfortunately, the Pro Clubs mode receives less and less attention.
A good example of EA’s lack of love for Pro Clubs is the position bug in FIFA 19’s club mode. This annoying bug was fixed poorly at best, five months after release.
By the way, we already wished for new features for Pro Clubs even before the release of FIFA 19. Since there were none, our wishes can be perfectly transferred to FIFA 20.
What we wish for:
Gameplay for CPU teammates needs to improve
A more comprehensive progression system for your player
More customization options for the pro and the club
More modes: multiplayer training arena, social area
More information about the opponents
Ultimate Team – The management cards need improvement
Here’s the problem: Distributing player contracts and fitness cards in the team is super tedious. Yet the system has not changed for years.
We suspect that the cards will not disappear anytime soon. Because for EA, they are good filler material for packs.
What we wish for:
A better fitness concept: Why can’t the 100 fitness points of a player be fully utilized? It would be great to only have to use a fitness card again when the card reaches a fitness value of 0. Currently, a fitness card is urgently needed after at most 3 or 4 games.
Team player contracts: Just like with team fitness cards, it would be practical to be able to equip the entire team with contracts at once. Currently, you have to select each player individually to fill contracts.
Fans want to see a Street Mode
The longing for a Street Mode for FIFA is great. The last installment of FIFA Street was released in 2012. Since then, many fans have wished for a similar mode for the FIFA series.
Because the fast, arcade-like games focused on dribbling and tricks are a lot of fun and provide a break from the monotonous FIFA routine.
On The Division 2, you will find all our guides, tips, builds, and solutions at a glance. This guide collection is guaranteed to help you.

It is the sequel to The Division from 2016. Since the second part takes many features from its predecessor, many veterans will quickly find their way around The Division 2.
Here is an overview of all guides: However, this guide collection is not only aimed at new players. Seasoned agents will also find interesting guides – because The Division 2 has a lot to offer and brings a lot of new elements.
