During a game of the NBA eSports league, a wild shoving match occurred after the game simply because a handshake failed. The viewers on Twitch witnessed live as two teams clashed after a match in NBA 2k19 – live on stage.
This was the situation: A live stream on Twitch showcased the Hawks Talon competing against the Celtics Crossover in the NBA eSports league.
The basketball match on the console had already concluded, and the players wanted to shake hands for a final gesture, but it went horribly wrong.
A player from the Celtics refused to shake hands with his opponent, resulting in them bumping shoulders. After this, the Celtic player completely lost his temper and pushed his opponent.

How did the scuffle go down? After the Celtic player pushed his opponent, officials immediately intervened to calm the situation. After some niceties were exchanged, the scene was not shown further on the stream.
Instead, viewers on Twitch only saw an overview of all current teams in the eSports league. Loud music then drowned out the cries of the angry players.
What was the trigger? The reason for this situation escalating is not known. However, one can assume that the Celtic player was upset about his team’s loss and vented that frustration on his opponent.
On Twitter or other platforms, the affected players have not spoken about the incident. It seems they would rather let the situation go silent.
This is the eSports league: In the USA, this eSports league is one of the largest in the country. Every game is broadcasted on Twitch and excites thousands of fans. They play the current NBA 2k Game.

Each team has a real NBA basketball team behind it. In this case, it was the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks teams.
The new action hit Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has made it clear to our author Irie why she loves raiding in online games like Final Fantasy XIV or Destiny.
Many of you will know it: When the major MMOs are currently in a drought, you look for possible alternatives. And that often leads you to single-player games.
I belong to the people who enjoy repeatedly getting kicked in the face by a game while still having fun. That’s why I have been following every news about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice with eagle eyes.
In Sekiro you play as a shinobi who has a prosthetic arm with ninja tools instead of his left arm.
The developer FromSoftware is known in the gaming scene for the ruthless games of the “Dark Souls” and “Bloodborne” series. Sekiro lives up to this reputation and quickly proved to be a tough challenge.
Sekiro has shown me why I love to play raids in MMOs.
Sekiro is a game that shows no mercy
While Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was developed in the spirit of the SoulsBorne games, it still has its own strong identity. A significant part of this identity consists of the deflect and posture systems, which are closely intertwined.
This is the game’s unique feature.
The yellow bars at the top and bottom represent the posture of the player and the boss. Once one of them is filled, you are either stunned yourself or can execute a finisher on the boss.
When an opponent attacks you in combat, the attack can be deflected with a well-timed block. This, in turn, damages the opponent’s posture. Once the posture bar is filled, a normal opponent can be taken out with a stylish finisher immediately—regardless of how many HP they have left. A great moment.
In combination with other mechanics like parrying, dodging, and using the prosthetic tools, a dynamic of attack and defense emerges that feels like a real sword fight.
In boss fights, Sekiro transforms into a rhythm game:
You learn the attack patterns of the bosses
recognize the rhythm of the hits
find out how to react best in tricky situations
and look for openings and weaknesses to exploit.
Really tough bosses have always fascinated me. In FFXI, enemies like Absolute Virtue and Pandemonium Warden were considered unbeatable for a long time.
Progress in boss fights follows the same pattern
The further I progressed in Sekiro, the more I got traumatic flashbacks to my raid experiences in MMOs. The way I captured an inch of the bosses’ HP bar with each attempt reminds me immensely of raids.
Just like in raids, the learning experience is also the focus of the combat mechanics in Sekiro.
Fights consist of three stages:
Entry into the fight: The initial attempts to figure out what the heck is going on and how to survive the first attacks. These initial attempts end with many quick wipes.
Progression phase: Steady progress through the raid fight, where players slowly master the mechanics and continue to progress.
Refinement: Usually comes after the raid group has seen all the mechanics. Now the group just needs to execute all the previously rehearsed actions cleanly.
(For an authentic raid experience, please imagine a lot of cursing during and between the individual stages.)
All these stages can be easily transferred to the fights in Sekiro. You feel your way through the boss fights until the learning pays off in the end.
In FFXIV, individual players in the group have a lot of responsibility. If one makes a mistake, it often leads to a wipe.
The learning principle is often compared in the community to dancing or group skipping rope. You learn the steps and the rhythm until they become second nature. And such a fight looks really awesome in the end.
In Sekiro, every hit and every deflect counts, the combat animations look really cool, and you are rewarded for playing cleverly and using your tools well.
In raids, the group works like a clock, every mechanic is executed perfectly. I just love that.

Developers avoid “artificial difficulty” in Sekiro and raids
Since my entry into multiplayer games with Ragnarok Online, I have played a lot of endgame content. The tough raids in MMOs are not just a way for me to get good gear.
Especially epic raid battles like in Final Fantasy XIV or King’s Fall and Wrath of the Machine from Destiny, which are loaded with mechanics, have been so much fun for me that I love to run them, even if I can no longer get a reward from them.
Puzzle-solving the mechanics of these raids represents another parallel to Sekiro for me. Good tricky mechanics create an additional layer of difficulty that does not feel artificial.
Taken King Oryx in the hard “King’s Fall” raid is one of my favorite bosses. The mechanics were fun and the difficulty level was challenging.
The same happens in the SoulsBorne games. The difficulty of these games is not artificially generated by tweaking damage numbers like in many other games. Rather, the difficulty arises from a combination of various factors.
A large part of the game world and every positioning of the enemies play an important role: Is the room in front of you apparently empty at first glance? Then it’s a trap. Is an enemy turned away from you? That’s also a trap. In such cases, you can assume with 99% certainty that you will be jumped from behind.
The goal is to convey the feeling that this world you have landed in is indeed dangerous. And while other games give players the cool feeling of power fantasy, the SoulsBorne games are deliberately designed to hit people with the strength of Mike Tyson.
Bloodborne was my first game from FromSoftware, and it taught me to keep my eyes and ears open while exploring the areas.
Players should learn the new rules of the game and find out how to overcome the challenges of the game in their own way. Banging your head against the wall repeatedly doesn’t help much.
Just as in raids, it won’t help to completely ignore the mechanics. You will only end up with frustration, but no victory.
Patience is important if you want to be successful
The fights in Sekiro and in MMO raids are characterized by a steep learning curve. You are forced to feel your way through the fights and learn from your mistakes.
That’s why Sekiro and raid fights require a high tolerance for frustration from players.
If I had received €1 for every wipe at Twintania, I would now be on a South Sea island drinking cocktails and living off interest.
Experienced raid groups enter the tough raids with the mentality to collectively bite the dust often. They know exactly what to expect and mentally prepare themselves for it. In FromSoftware games, one also expects to be initially expertly dismantled by the bosses.
It is not a sign that you are simply bad; rather, the quick defeats show that you do not yet have enough knowledge to master the fight.
Therefore, it is important not to let failure discourage you. And the feeling of success after progress is all the more satisfying.
Players remember not the loot, but the combat experience
For me, the reward after the victory has always been cool, but the real fun during the fight has always outweighed it.

Listen to how the guys in the video escalate during the kill (beware, they are loud). They have been working on the fight for 4 weeks. What drops from the chests does not matter to them at that moment.
In the end, you remember more the feeling you had when the opponent finally went down. In my raid groups, it was also often said: “Hey, do you remember that one boss? What a jerk! But he was really fun!”
Different genres convey a similar feeling
Of course, Sekiro and the MMOs where I raid could not be more different. Just the fact that raids are fought in groups while you rely on yourself and your reflexes in Sekiro plays a crucial role.
Nevertheless, I think that the experience of combat is a major commonality between the two. Breathtaking and cool boss fights are one of the most important focal points of the latest FromSoftware games and every epic raid.
The fight against the primal Thordan in FFXIV may not be a raid, but visually it is one of the most impressive and coolest in the game.
In that moment of a fight, when the boss has only a few percent of HP left, you are mashing the keys so hard that your fingers hurt, and your adrenaline levels soar, Sekiro and raids are very similar.
And if your MMO is currently in a drought in PvE and you enjoy getting kicked in the face as much as I do, check out Sekiro. It was worth every cent for me.
At the release of The Division 2, there was criticism about character creation. Options like red hair color, a bald hairstyle, or a goatee were missing. Ubisoft aims to change that.
This was the problem: When creating a character in The Division 2, there are many options for hairstyles and hair colors. However, some quite normal variants are missing.
Those who want a bald character or simply a truly red hair color currently find no options. The creation does not provide these choices.
The Khajiit in The Elder Scrolls Online can look very different. In total, there are more than 17 types. Read here why that is the case.
Most Elder Scrolls fans recognize a Khajiit instantly when they see one: humanoid cats, of course.
However, very few could accurately say which sub-species this Khajiit belongs to. Just like with cats in our world, there are Khajiit in the Elder Scrolls world in various variations.
Seventeen sub-species are known, and it is rumored that there are many more.
Moon constellations determine the race
What determines what a Khajiit looks like? Anyone who has looked up at night in an “Elder Scrolls” game has surely noticed that there is more than one moon.
The sub-species of a Khajiit depends on the constellation of these two moons.
Masser,
the Red Moon is also known as Mara’s Tear. The Khajiit see in it a
God and call him Jode.
Secunda
is the smaller of the two moons and looks more like a “normal”
moon. It is also worshipped by the cat people. They call it Jone.
When a small Khajiit is born, the constellation of these two moons decides whether it will become a fluffy Alfiq or a large strong Senche-Raht, for example. Curiously, the race of the parents plays no role at all.
So, two humanoid Khajiit can have a son that takes the form of a house cat, while the older sister is a gigantic tiger.
The great moon determines the essential appearance
The many Khajiit races can be roughly divided into four groups:
Large quadrupeds
Large bipeds
Small bipeds
and small quadrupeds.
The classification into one of these groups depends on the phase of the great red moon Masser. The fuller it is, the larger the Khajiit will eventually become.
If more than three quarters of the moon or less than one quarter is visible, it becomes a quadruped.
Otherwise, it walks upright like a human.
The small moon determines the race
Within these four groups, there are four variations again. The phase of the small moon Secunda determines which race the baby Khajiit will have. In general, this moon decides how animalistic a Khajiit will be.
The fuller the moon is, the more similar the Khajiit looks to a cat, rather than a human or elf.
The Over-Khajiit
Anyone who has been counting knows that one kind is still missing: The Mane. Manes are spiritual and political leaders of the Khajiit. Their reign is virtually assigned to them at birth. They can only arise when a third moon appears.
This, however, only happens very rarely.
The third moon only appears during a very special constellation of the other two moons. Therefore, the birth of a Mane is always a significant event for the cat people.
Senche: Very large and similar to an oversized tiger. Also ridden by other Khajiit, and in ESO there are numerous Senche mounts.
Senche-raht: The largest Khajiit, resembling a saber-toothed tiger. Also known as “combat cat”
Pahmar: Similar in size and appearance to a regular tiger
Pahmar-raht: Like a Pahmar, but larger. The transition to Senche is fluid.
A huge beast like a Senche-Raht – You only clean its litter box reluctantly
Large bipeds
Cathay: The typical Khajiit cat-person you encounter in Tamriel
Cathay-Raht: Slightly larger than the Cathay, but just as agile
Tojay: Little is known about the Tojays, as they like to hide in the forest
Tojay-Rhat: Larger than the Tojay, but not better known.
The typical Khajiit. Full aggro because on Skooma.
Small bipeds
Ohmes: This Khajiit race actually has nothing to do with the typical Khajiit look. They resemble elves and humans closely but are much smaller. They are often confused with wood elves. Their first and last appearance was in The Elder Scrolls: Arena.
Ohmes-Rhat: They resemble elves even more, as they are the same size. However, they are still easier to recognize as Khajiit because they have a tail.
Suthay: They resemble the “normal” Khajiit, just much smaller.
Suthay-Rhat: These Khajiit are particularly often found in Morrowind. They are very cat-like and about the same size as humans. Hard to distinguish from Cathay.
An Ohmes male and an Ohmes female – This is how the first Khajiit in an Elder Scrolls game looked
The game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is live! For now, the app can only be downloaded in New Zealand. It is not yet available in Germany.
Where can you play Wizards Unite? So far, the game is only available in the app stores in New Zealand for download. In Germany, you can only unofficially play the game via APK files for now.
When is the release of Wizards Unite in Germany? It is not known when the game will be released here in Germany. However, it seems that the game is being rolled out and may be available soon in other countries.
What we know about the release of Wizards Unite
This was known about the release date: The game was originally supposed to launch in the summer, the developers explained. Now, however, the game is likely being tested in beta in selected countries.
Magical encounters are not yet available in Germany.
The official release will likely take some more time. However, there is no exact date yet.
What is Wizards Unite? This game is designed by the developers of Pokémon GO. There, you dive into the life of a wizard and help keep the wizarding world secret from non-wizards.
This all takes place, much like in Pokémon GO, in the real world. You have to move in order to complete tasks.
Can we play in Germany yet? You can already download the APK file. However, it is not recommended, as such APK files always come with risks.
Also, while the app runs here in Germany, there is still not much you can do. Magical encounters or other interesting points are not yet available here. So it doesn’t bring anything if you already have the app.
What does the beta in New Zealand offer? In this test version of Wizards Unite, not all features are unlocked yet. Players in New Zealand cannot access everything in the game yet.

The new update 1.07 for Apex Legends shows in the patch notes that “heavy” characters like Gibraltar and Caustic are changing. They can take more damage. Additionally, sniper rifles will become more useful.
There are also changes to weapons. The Wingman is getting slightly weaker, while sniper rifles are on the rise.
Highlights of the Patch Notes 1.07 in German for Apex Legends
Here we show you the main highlights of the new update for Apex Legends. You can find the full patch notes in English on Reddit.
Changes to Caustic and Gibraltar: In advance, the hitboxes of the large characters Pathfinder, Gibraltar, and Caustic were already changed. Then they observed how these changes affected gameplay. With Pathfinder, it seemed to be quite good, but the hitbox changes didn’t help Caustic and Gibraltar much.
Therefore, Gibraltar and Caustic will receive a new passive perk. This will cause them to take 10% less damage.
Caustic:
Passive ability “Fortified”: Reduces incoming damage by 10%
Gas damage per tick increased from 1 to 4
The throwing range of the Ultimate increased from 28 meters to 33 meters
Gibraltar:
Passive ability “Fortified”: Reduces incoming damage by 10%
The health points of the shield have been increased from 50 to 75
How sniper rifles change: With the changes to sniper rifles, Respawn aims to ensure that fighting at longer distances becomes worthwhile again.
With update 1.07, it’s no longer as crucial where on the body you hit the opponent. The reduction for leg hits will be decreased. Additionally, the rifles are supposed to sway less when aiming. The goal is to make it a bit easier for snipers.
The Triple Take from Apex Legends.
G7 Scout / Triple Take / Longbow DMR:
Reduction of damage on leg hits reduced to 10% instead of 25%
Reduction of weapon sway by about 33%
Reduction of sway speed by about 25%
Longbow DMR:
Fire rate increased from 1.2 to 1.6
Magazine size increased (base from 4 to 5, simple extension from 6 to 8, rare extension from 8 to 10, epic extension from 10 to 12)
Which weapons have changed?
The Spitfire now deals 18 instead of 20 base damage. Additionally, magazine extensions provide less space for bullets. The developers want to slightly weaken the weapon. After all, it is one of the rarer weapons in Apex Legends and should therefore be strong.
The Wingman also receives smaller magazines with update 1.07. They want to ensure that the weapon is not too powerful in its base form.
The Havoc in Apex Legends
The Havoc receives a larger base magazine. Additionally, a few buffs to the charge beam, which will increase its damage. This is to make the Havoc more useful and allow it to keep up with weapons like the R-301.
Event for Battle Pass started
What kind of event is this? Currently, there is an event in Apex Legends with bonus XP for the Battle Pass. This event is active until April 18 at 7 PM.
Once a day you will receive a full level in the Battle Pass if you land in the top 5 with your squad. This goes up to level 110.
Such events with bonus EP are expected to happen more often in the future. Will Apex Legends climb back up again?
NCSoft shut down the superhero MMORPG City of Heroes in late 2012. Since then, fans have been waiting for an (unofficial) successor. But that’s not necessary because City of Heroes can still be played on a private server for a long time. This was a closely guarded secret for a long time – now it has come to light.
What was City of Heroes? The MMORPG allowed you to create your own superhero or supervillain and then experience adventures in the city of Paragon City.
Fans particularly liked the character system with superpowers and the combat system, in which groups could act together.
The game was discontinued in December 2012. Fans have since wished for an MMO with a similar gaming experience. Therefore, many have pinned their hopes on the upcoming titles Ship of Heroes and City of Titans.
City of Heroes can still be played
The game is not actually dead? A Youtuber recently revealed that City of Heroes can still be played, but most fans knew nothing about it. The Youtuber Destroyer Stroyer explained in a video that he received a private invitation for SCORE (Secret Cabal Of Reverse Engineers) a few years ago.
SCORE is a fully functional private server for City of Heroes, on which it is even possible to revive the old heroes from the official version and simply continue playing. The server is said to have been in existence for six years.
https://youtu.be/uUuQDcL2FoY
The fans are angry
What is the problem? Actually, the fans of the MMORPG City of Heroes should be happy, but that is not the case. On the one hand, many are angry because the server was kept secret and it was believed that the City-of-Heroes community would stick together. However, only about 3,000 players received invitations.
Fan avoca says on Reddit: “I was lied to. It was said that City of Heroes was shut down. Today I found out that I was wrong about that.”
On the other hand, Destroyer Stroyer claims that a former developer of City of Heroes provided the people behind SCORE with the data of the former players. This also included private information such as payment details, addresses, and more. Among this data was also the player database, which is why it is possible to continue playing with your old heroes.
https://youtu.be/2n6zEhLQcro
What do the server operators say? Leandro Pardini, a City-of-Heroes fan who is part of the SCORE team, explained the situation. According to him, the server had to be kept secret to prevent NCSoft from shutting it down. Because that happened with a private server of the discontinued MMORPG Tabula Rasa, in which he was also involved.
Furthermore, it is not true that SCORE possesses private player data. As far as the character data is concerned, a tool was developed before the MMORPG was shut down that allowed fans to save their characters offline.
Finally, a person contacted Leandro and handed over the entire database to him. However, this is said not to contain any personal data.
How can you play now? You still have to be personally invited by SCORE in order to play City of Heroes on the private server. You apparently get the invitation if you show that you are a big fan of the online game in forums like Reddit.
In Pokémon GO the Egg Event 2019 has started. We tell you what Shinys, quests, and bonuses await you.
How long is the Egg Event running? The event started yesterday, on April 16. It runs now through Easter until April 23.
This is what the event brings: There are two new Shinys and lots of bonuses in the event. So there are changed 2km eggs and special egg quests to solve.
These bonuses are available: There are numerous bonuses around eggs that you can collect. This includes:
Double candy for hatching eggs
Incubators hatch at double speed
Lucky Eggs last for one hour instead of 30 minutes
Other Pokémon hatch from 2km eggs
3 special field research tasks related to eggs are active for the event
Is it worth hatching eggs? The egg pool of the 2km eggs has been changed. This makes these eggs even more interesting. In addition, you receive double candy from the eggs. There won’t be a better time to hatch eggs. So it’s worth hatching the 10km eggs again.
Hatch eggs! It’s worth it.
In the 2km eggs the following Pokémon have been confirmed:
Wonneira
Fluffeluff (can be shiny)
Mantirps
Azurill (can be shiny)
Magby (can be shiny)
Pichu (can be shiny)
Isso (can be shiny)
Knospi (can be shiny)
Mobai
Rabauz
Pii (can be shiny)
Togepi (can be shiny)
Elekid (can be shiny)
Mampfaxo

There are more baby Pokémon in the 2km eggs
These field researches are available: There are 3 new field researches for the event. They all revolve around hatching eggs.
Hatch an egg
Reward: Encounter with a Haspiror
Hatch 3 eggs
Reward: Encounter with an Azumarill
Hatch 5 eggs
Reward: Encounter with a Chaneira
What can be found in the wild? The wilderness is full of Haspiror! The rabbit Pokémon is currently spawning frequently. Additionally, Voltilamm and its evolutions are significantly more common in the wild.
In addition, Pokémon like Owei, Kokowei, Chaneira, or Marill appear more frequently in the wild.
The next patch of World of Warcraft is Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara. And it brings a lot of new, crazy mounts with it.
Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara has finally arrived on the PTR and is ready to be tested. This also means that data mining has begun again, and many models and rewards have been extracted from the data. We want to take a look at the coolest mounts that data miners have already found in the game files.
The used images are from wowhead (see sources).
The cool Monowheel was already presented in the developer livestream a few days ago and is likely to be one of the most interesting mounts. Based on its appearance, you will probably be able to get it in Mechagon, but the exact requirements for that are still unknown.
If you enjoy exploring the depths and ancient ruins in the ocean (or solving puzzles about the “Waist of Time”), you might be interested in a new type of seahorse. Many different colors were found in the game data, and judging by their appearance, they are likely to be found near Nazjatar.
After years of begging, it seems there are finally rideable spider tanks. These are very gnomish in design and will likely be associated with Mechagon.
If you don’t like the normal ground version of the spider tank, there is also a flying variant that hovers above the ground. How exactly these mounts can be obtained is still unknown.
If you haven’t had enough of dinosaurs yet, a terrorhorn is also waiting for you. This will likely involve a育成 quest where you must train your dino over several weeks.
Please keep in mind that this information is still from the PTR. A lot can change by the release, and not everything found in the data will necessarily be implemented in the same patch.
The Archive Event 2019 in Overwatch started under the name “Storm Rising”. You can now play the exclusive PvE mode and buy or earn the new skins.
What is the Archive Event? The Archive Event in Overwatch tells a bit of background to the story of the shooter each year by making a story from the past (from the archives) accessible.
In the Archive Event 2019, you will hunt the accountant of the Talon leader Doomfist in a new game mode. The operation is led by Overwatch heroine Tracer, who proved herself as a leader in the previously occurring “Uprising” event. The mission could lead you on the trail of a new hero.
What is the new mode? In the new mode “Storm Rising”, you must stop a convoy of armored vehicles escorting the accountant Maximilien through the streets of Havana with a team of Tracer, Winston, Genji, and Mercy.
Your goal is to uncover Maximilien’s dealings in order to provide evidence about the villain Doomfist through his money trail.
The mode is a PvE mission, so you will team up with three other players against NPC enemies that you must defeat in waves to achieve various objectives.

As a reward for the mode and for playing during the event, special loot boxes will be available to you. These may contain the new Archive skins. These are available for:
In our gallery, you can already view the skins. (click to enlarge)
If you don’t want to leave it to chance and luck whether and which skin you receive, you can also buy them. The legendary event skins cost 3000 credits, epic ones 750.
The Patch Notes of the Event
Together with the event, Blizzard also released a new patch for Overwatch. This includes some changes that were previously tested on the PTR:
Several days ago, Pokémon GO changed the egg pool. We explain why the 10-km eggs are worth it again.
What was the problem before? Until now, many weak Pokémon were included in the 10-km eggs. It wasn’t really worth applying your expensive incubators to these eggs, only to end up with a Voltilamm.
Which Pokémon were removed? No new Pokémon have been added, at least not yet. But several less desirable Pokémon have been removed. These include:
Voltilamm
Knacklion
Miltank
Pionskora
Driftlon
These Pokémon are currently available in 10-km eggs. Source: TheSilphRoad
What is good in the egg pool now? You will now get significantly more good Pokémon. This starts with monsters like Larvitar or Tanhel, which you often caught thanks to the Community Days, but you can now obtain specimens with good IVs from the eggs.
Additionally, rare Pokémon such as Riolu or Koknodon can be found in the 10-km eggs. This way, you can complete your PokéDex and even have an extremely strong rock attacker with Rameidon.
That’s why you should start hatching again: Aside from Porygon, you only have good Pokémon in the 10-km eggs. They are either strong attackers or can hatch as Shiny. It’s worth it even more to hatch the 10-km eggs.
Put the 10-km eggs in the incubators. It’s worth it!
Here it’s doubly worth it: Regardless of the egg pool, an egg event will start on April 16 at 10 PM. The egg pool will change a bit again, but the 10-km eggs will be particularly worthwhile there.
So, there are double candies from eggs and you only have to walk half the distance for the eggs. This way, you can even receive up to 64 candies per 10-km egg for a Pokémon.
If you want a complete list of all eggs, then check here:
In Destiny 2 today, on April 16th, is Weekly Reset. The Spring Event “The Revelry” has begun. Additionally, there are fresh weekly activities. What are the 3 new Nightfall strikes? And where can you find the Flashpoint?

The notorious streamer Dr Disrespect is not a big fan of Fortnite. His latest criticism: The game makes the upcoming generation soft and cowardly! The Doctor said this in a new Twitch stream.
He is not a fan of the “nerdy developers” from North Carolina anyway.
Epic Games ruins the shooter youth!
This is why the Doc thinks Fortnite spoils the kids: But this time, he has a bigger bone to pick with Epic’s battle royale game. According to the Doc, Fortnite makes the upcoming shooter gamer generation soft and cowardly.
The Doc often has harsh words for Fortnite.
According to the Doc, this is because in Fortnite you can build cover anytime. So instead of bravely taking the fire from an enemy and seeking cover yourself or first paying attention to cover, one would immediately get a second chance after every mistake in Fortnite.
This is what happens in Fortnite
in combat: As soon as a shot is heard, most Fortnite players explode into building activities and immediately raise a small fortress around themselves. This way, even major mistakes like running across an open field without cover can still be survived.

This is, according to the Doc, the main reason why the game spoils the next generation. In his tirade, he further complains that kids today are already oversensitized by society.
To that, it also comes that they are not even challenged in shooter games, but they are also given numerous protection mechanisms there.
These “stupid developers from North Carolina,” i.e. Epic Games, are, according to the Doc, responsible for the next generation of gamers being worthless.
What do you think of this development? Is the Doc right, and is Fortnite gameplay really spoiling the youth?
According to Ninja, it can also be done without building!
Fallout 76 has received a new content patch with a small update and without maintenance. This time, you can explore a completely new area.
What is this update about? Today, on April 16, 2019, a new update for Fallout 76 started around 6:20 PM. This brings new content from the “Wild Appalachia” update.
The new patch did not require maintenance. So you can just log in and play.
What kind of caves are these? The caves were originally constructed as a drainage system underneath Harpers Ferry in the eastern part of the map. After the bombs fell, they also served as a refuge for people from new dangers.
Over time, the caves developed into a friendly, helpful community. However, something went wrong, and a scout team from the Steel Brotherhood lost their lives while investigating the problem.
What can you find in the caves? In the caves, you can complete a quest once or repeat the dungeon multiple times to get more loot. The caves are designed for two players in co-op or for very well-equipped solo players. The dungeon is not yet instanced. The technology is supposed to come in the future.
How do I get into the caves? If you want to explore the caves yourself, you can do so starting now. The entrances to the dungeon are located near the armory and at Highway 65. You can access the caves through manhole covers.
You can view the exact locations and what the manhole covers look like in our gallery.
This is what the manhole covers look like.
What’s next: The camera feature originally planned for this patch has been postponed to a later date and is expected to be released on April 23. Player shops, that some fans are already running, will be available on May 7.
Other players are passing the time in questionable ways:
World of Warcraft seems to be planning to say goodbye to Titanforging. However, the problem is that the developers have not found an alternative.
With the introduction of Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, some YouTubers and other content creators traveled to Blizzard and were able to talk with the developers. Apparently, there was also a discussion about an aspect of the game: Titanforging. According to Blizzard’s developers, it should be removed. However, it’s not that easy.
What was said? On the Twitch channel of “Taliesin and Evitel,” it was discussed that at the meeting a WoW developer (whose name is not exactly known) said that they would like to remove Titanforging from the game.
The problem is that there is currently no system to replace Titanforging. The development team is tasked with creating something new that could replace Titanforging. Simply removing it without a replacement is not an option.

What is Titanforging? Almost all items in the current content of World of Warcraft have a chance to be “Titanforged” or “Warforged”.
An item then has a significantly higher item level than normal or has additional attributes, such as a small percentage of lifesteal or an extra socket.
When can we expect this? There is still no specific date for the implementation, as no solutions currently exist. Therefore, Titanforging should not be expected to be removed before Patch 9.0 (the start of the next addon).
Titanforging
is controversial, there are pros and cons
The players of WoW are roughly divided into two camps. Some support Titanforging, while others strictly oppose it.
This is what supporters say: Titanforging ensures that even in seemingly irrelevant content, such as easy dungeons, an upgrade occasionally drops. The joy about this is then great.
For example, someone who just wanted to help a friend in a dungeon and suddenly receives an upgrade feels motivated and positively reinforced.
This is what critics say: Titanforging is said to make the hardest content insignificant. If players can already obtain gear from easy dungeons by luck that is otherwise only available in the mythical version, then the gear from the mythical version is simultaneously worth less.
Moreover, the system relies too much on chance, and one cannot work towards a clear reward.
What is your opinion on Titanforging in World of Warcraft? Is it an important mechanic that motivates playing? Or should it be removed urgently and does not need a replacement?
The perks in Fallout 76 come in the form of cards that you mainly receive through level-ups. We have compiled all the information and a list of the perks for you in an overview and have some tips ready.
What are the perks in Fallout 76? In Fallout 76, the perks are available in the form of cards. They can be freely equipped and unequipped.

How do I obtain perk cards? You generally receive a card at every level-up, as well as a card pack every fifth level. From level 50, you can also choose to redistribute a SPECIAL attribute instead of gaining a new perk. How to level up faster in Fallout 76, you can find out in our guide.
If you play in a group, you can even share perks with your teammates. When a perk is shared, the whole group has access to its function.

Plan Your Perks with a Planner
This is how you plan your build: If you don’t want to level and skill blindly, you can prepare a build in a planner beforehand. We recommend two different tools:
As of today, Tuesday, April 16, 2019, World War Z has been released. The new survival shooter with massive hordes of zombie enemies is available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One, adding some of its unique features to the already spicy genre.
What is World War Z? World War Z is a zombie shooter based on the 2013 film of the same name starring Brad Pitt. You play as survivors after the outbreak of a zombie virus that has infected large parts of humanity.
In real-world settings such as Moscow, New York, Tokyo, and Jerusalem, you fight against the zombies that act like a “swarm” due to their infection.
Therefore, World War Z has come up with some unique features to impress:
A unique game mode: World War Z offers a unique mode where you can fight against both players and zombies at the same time. It’s called Player vs Player vs Zombies (PvPvZ).
According to the corresponding trailer for the feature, there are five different modes that can be played in PvPvZ.

Intelligent zombies: The zombies in World War Z are supposed to move more realistically than in other zombie games. They react to their environment and physics.
If too many zombies squeeze through a narrow alley, they will clog it and simply climb over one another. If they run too fast around a corner, they stumble. If they can’t reach you in apparent safety above them, they will build a pyramid.
https://youtu.be/qA7eCyVomtE
Unique classes: World War Z offers six different classes from which you can choose one for your team of four survivors:
Slasher, a melee class
Hellraiser, a bomb specialist
Exterminator, a trap setter
Gunslinger, a weapon expert
Medic, a healer
Fixer, a kind of supporter for more ammunition
A class system in the form of individual abilities also existed in Left4Dead. However, in World War Z, there are more classes than available slots in the lobby, allowing for various combinations.
https://youtu.be/TKFP3pzoeuk
What the first reviews say: Otherwise, World War Z is said to play very similarly to the classic Left4Dead. For many fans, World War Z is even the unofficial Left4Dead 3.
Especially the fact that there are different classes and also the types of special zombies make the parallels more evident. On reddit, the criticism becomes clearer. The special zombies are almost exactly the same as those already known from Left4Dead. The similarity to Left4Dead is not necessarily a bad thing.
Intelligent zombies can be dangerous.
Most of the time is spent shooting down hordes of zombies, and especially in co-op, it’s probably a lot of fun. The visuals are particularly convincing, but if you’re still unsure, it’s better to wait a bit for more reviews.
The creators of Left4Dead are already working on their next game:
The Elder Scrolls Online can no longer be played immediately. Instead, you often get stuck in long queues. The ESO chief explains why this is the case and how they plan to resolve it.
Why are there suddenly queues in ESO? The Elder Scrolls Online is currently too successful. Promotional offers for the 5th anniversary and the promising new content in the Season of the Dragon have attracted more and more players to ESO.
Since the console launch in 2015, the game’s largest success, the number of average active players has reached a new all-time high.
Among other things, the anniversary is responsible for the current high number of active players.
This led to a constant overload of the European PC megaservers. The consequences were massive performance deteriorations in the game. After several attempts at optimization, the queues were implemented to limit the maximum number of players.
This way, it can be ensured that at least the currently active players can play adequately rather than everyone having inadequate performance.
Why does the problem only affect the Euro PC servers? The problem in Europe is, on the one hand, that there are disproportionately many PC players active here, and therefore the PC servers record more traffic.
On the other hand, there are only two time zones in Europe. So most players practically all come online at peak times simultaneously. In the USA, there are four zones, which helps distribute the player count better.
Solutions are in sight
This is how Zenimax plans to resolve the queues: In a forum post, ESO chief Matt Firor explained the aforementioned problem and immediately announced solutions. Since the issue is purely server-side, they just need to increase the hardware capacities of the megaservers.
Therefore, Zenimax plans to implement the new hardware by the end of April to meet the needs of the increasing player count. This also applies to the US and console servers, as they might soon reach their limits too.
Producer Matt Firor.
Zenimax is doing its best to implement this solution as quickly as possible.
This is how the fans are reacting: Many fans think it’s great that Zenimax is working on the problem. However, some users criticize that they are only now receiving information about the issue. After all, it had first started to become noticeable in January, and at that time they felt ignored.
Meanwhile, players are getting creative and using the waiting time to enjoy some food.
The first weekend of the World Cup qualification in Fortnite is over, and especially the Baller has dominated the rounds. However, this vehicle brings a problem for the meta.
How is the World Cup qualification being destroyed by this? The Baller provides players with protection. Additionally, it allows you to reach places that you cannot access without this vehicle.
Anyone without a Baller by the end of the round is at a disadvantage. You can shoot at the vehicles, but this leaves you quite exposed to your opponents. Moreover, the Baller can then quickly escape. Without the vehicle, you are significantly less mobile.
How the Baller dominated the World Cup qualification
This is shown in videos: If you watch videos from the round endings over the weekend, you can see the Baller everywhere. A video was published on Reddit that shows 12 different Ballers, while only one player is seen who is without the vehicle.

This player clearly has trouble playing, as he doesn’t even know which Baller to shoot at first. In the end, the player is eliminated without a vehicle, while the Ballers continue to jump around.
This is the tactic with the Baller: Many pros have utilized the Baller for their tactics. They usually sit in there with 1500 materials and a good weapon set.
The Baller has a total of 200 health. Therefore, as a player, you gain additional protection that you do not have without a Baller. If the Baller is destroyed, you can quickly build and still have full health.
Furthermore, you can reach higher positions effectively with the Baller and dominate from there. The Baller seems to be the ideal vehicle for the endgame.
That is why it is a problem: The Baller is well-suited for the endgame, but apparently too strong. If you don’t own a Baller, you are almost helpless against this dominance.
Moreover, there are significantly fewer build battles and fights towards the end of the round. It only aims to shoot each other out of the Baller.
Whoever sits in the Baller cannot act on their own; the fights are relatively static: Those who want to attack must get out of their Baller and make themselves a target.
The Baller in Fortnite is popular, but also controversial
What can be done about it? Epic had already reduced the Baller’s health from 300 to 200 beforehand. However, this did not significantly harm its dominance.
The Baller could be further weakened or removed from the game for the qualification and other tournaments. However, Epic may also aim for such gameplay and keep it as it is. It’ll be interesting to see.
The Hunters, a mysterious group of particularly strong and feared opponents, also cross paths with agents in The Division 2 in Washington D.C. From each Hunter, you can obtain a cool cosmetic mask. We explain what you need to do for that.
What are the Hunters? The Hunters hunted players in The Division 1. They were among the toughest and meanest opponents in the game and could quickly take down even well-trained agents at an unfavorable moment.
In The Division 2, these Hunters are back. Early in the campaign, it is hinted that you will also encounter these elite fighters in Washington. However, during the first encounter, you will be spared by the Hunter. Later, however, you can deliberately “summon” them and hunt them down yourself. Cool rewards await you for that.
How to get Hunter Masks in The Division 2 – Here’s how
What rewards are there? Each of the 12 Hunters drops their own mask – the coveted trademark of these Hunters. You can collect them, display them as trophies in your operations base, and also equip them as a cosmetic item that gives your agent a cool and unique look.
All 12 Hunter Masks displayed as trophies on the wall
Additionally, some of these 12 Hunters drop Ivory Keys. Once you have collected all 8 of them, you can open a chest next to the barber in the White House that contains more goodies for you.
Enter the building through the main entrance, turn right at the first opportunity, and then go through the second door on the right. There you will find the chest.
You will receive from it
the Shield Splinterer F2000 assault rifle with random talents and scaling gear score depending on world tier

The locations of the 12 Hunter Masks
This is how you discovered the Hunters: In the world of The Division 2, there are clues encoded with a cipher hidden in numerous graffiti on buildings or walls.
Players have already deciphered these cryptic symbols and thus found out where to encounter the 12 Hunters, including masks, and what you need to do to “call” them. Because they do not appear there on their own.

You should pay attention to this when hunting: With a few exceptions, you must hunt the Hunters at night. “Night time” begins at 7:00 PM game time and ends at 5:00 AM. It will be displayed to you on the right side in photo mode.
However, some Hunters sometimes have issues when it is still very bright – even after 7 PM. But if you generally hunt the masks at night, that is, in darkness, you can’t go wrong. There is no fixed order for the individual Hunters, by the way.
Additionally, you should consider that the Hunters are level 35. If you don’t want to be downed after a hit, you should best tackle them after reaching the maximum level of 30 with correspondingly good gear. Many can also be mastered quite well solo. In a team, it is, however, significantly easier.
The Ghoul Mask: North of the Lincoln Memorial in West Potomac Park, you will find an entrance to the sewer.

Go underground and follow the tunnel until you come to a large room. There you need to interact with a computer that is located near a large map of Washington.

Once you activate the computer, a lamp lights up, illuminating an X on the map. There you will find the Hunter.

At the marking, you will find a platform in the game world as scaffolding, on which a lamp blinks. Shoot the bulb, and the Hunter will spawn.

Defeat him now, and you will receive the mask and an Ivory Key. Remember, this mission must be completed at night.
Ghost Mask: Go to this intersection south of Capitol Hill in the Southwest district and locate the memorial plaque.

Then salute using the emote function outside the water facing the memorial plaque.
If the Hunter is not triggered, salute a few more times (some report between 6 – 8 times) and step closer to the flagpole. Take out the Hunter, and you will receive the Ghost Mask and an Ivory Key. This mission must be completed at night.
Revenant Mask, Midas Mask: Go to the marked position in the northwest of Washington (West End).

There you will find a large hotel complex. Head to the middle of the building complex, where you will see a pool.
Now perform jumping jacks in the pool using the emote function. This will spawn two Hunters that need to be defeated. After winning the fight, you will receive two new masks and an Ivory Key. This mission must be completed at night.
Demon Mask: Go to the marked position in Downtown East.

Once you arrive at a kind of courtyard enclosed by the building, you need to climb to the height with the palm trees and shoot four targets you find in the windows across.

Once you successfully hit all four targets, the Hunter appears from whom you will receive your next mask and an Ivory Key. This mission can also be approached during the day.

Once that is done, the Hunter appears in the courtyard. You will receive the Purple Mask and an Ivory Key from him. This mission can also be completed during the day.
Diamond Mask, Phantom Mask, Death Mask, Cross Mask: In the East Mall area, you can obtain four masks. First, head to the marked building.

Inside the building, you need to flip a switch and then walk to the park with the Christmas tree east of the building.

Stroll around the Christmas tree, and four Hunters will appear. Take them out and collect the masks. There is also an Ivory Key here.

It may happen that only three instead of four Hunters spawn in one place. Then look around the park area a little. The fourth Hunter usually spawns just a bit away from the main group.
How to get these 10 Hunter Masks is explained in this detailed guide by NothingButSkillz:

The Ghost Mask: To begin with – this is now the correct and regular way to obtain this mask. First, head to the Washington Monument (the big column) in West Potomac Park south of the White House.
If the checkpoint at the monument is still occupied by enemies, you will need to capture it first. Go inside the monument and rappel down through the elevator shaft to the basement.
Press the button under the monitor on the thick column. This will reveal the location of three graves that you must visit in a specific order (see image).
At each grave, you must salute using the gesture menu. You will know if it worked if the screen or HUD distorts slightly for a moment.
Now return to the monitor in the basement. Press the button below again. On the monitor, an orange circle (the Division Ring) should now flicker.
By the way: If you have mastered this step and you need to start from the beginning again, you only need to activate the terminal. Saluting at the graves will no longer be necessary.
Now go up through the elevator shaft and then walk straight outside. There, you will see a ring projection on the ground – a red circle.
Stand in this circle, and the Hunter will appear right in front of you. Defeat him, and you will receive the next mask and an Ivory Key. This mask can only be obtained at night.

Phantom Mask: This is also the regular way to obtain the Phantom Mask. First, you must fight your way to this location in the East Mall area.
Now look towards the building south of your position. In front of it, you will find a truck. Climb on its roof.
Now look at the building itself. You need to hit the windows of the building in a specific order (see image). Note that the windows are divided. You always need to hit the lower window panes.
If you miss a shot, that’s it for the attempt. You will then need to log out and try again.
If you hit the 16 windows in the correct order, the Hunter will appear to the right of the truck (when facing the building). Kill him, and you will receive the Phantom Mask and an Ivory Key. The mask can also be obtained during the day.
