The streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was long considered one of the best Fortnite players in the world. But even this week, he will not qualify for the Fortnite World Championship. The run of the world’s largest Twitch streamer started catastrophically this weekend and then amounted to nothing.
Here’s the situation: The streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is not really a big esports player in Fortnite; he is known for his streams on Twitch and earns a lot of money. On Twitch, he has the largest channel by far with 14.1 million followers. In second place is Shroud with 6.3 million.
However, Ninja wants to be part of the Fortnite World Championship. After all, it’s about 30 million US dollars, and the eyes of the world are on the event.
This weekend, week 5 of the qualification took place, and Ninja wanted to secure the solo spot. This is how it really went: Massive has canceled April 25 and will likely release the raid with a major patch on May 16. So 3 weeks behind schedule and 6 weeks after the last content “Tidal Basin.”
However, Massive does not need the time to finish the raid, but to change and improve many small and larger mechanics in the game.
This means we are 9 weeks after the launch of The Division 2 actually still in the release phase – a strange situation.
That’s why I think it’s good: I believe it is the right decision by Massive. They have extensively outlined the “major patch” in the last 5 weeks and presented many reasonable decisions there.
They are taking the time to tackle the many smaller and larger issues of the game and implementing fan feedback. Everything has sounded so far as if it made sense.
Probably, this longer pause will ultimately do The Division 2 good.
That’s why I find it strange: Nevertheless, this pause feels strange to me, as if I were torn out of the game. It felt as if there was an abrupt ending in the middle of the film and I had to wait for the sequel.
Even with Tidal Basin, I felt like I was playing an interim step – seeing the middle part of a trilogy.
I’m curious if The Division 2 can regain that momentum from the first weeks when the update actually arrives next week.
The expectations for this patch, which I had to wait so long for, are now very high.
It is clear that next week with the update is important for The Division 2: It will decide whether the game can gain power again and carry on the hype of the release phase.
The Western epic Red Dead Redemption 2 was the blockbuster for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2018. Players on PC have so far been left in the lurch: There is still no talk of a PC launch. Now there is new hope: A LinkedIn profile provides a hint that Rockstar has been working on the PC version.
This now gives fans hope: A former Rockstar employee, Nan Ma, described a position at Rockstar in Toronto in his LinkedIn resume. He was a Physics Programmer there from June 2010 to October 2016. In the meantime, Nan Ma is the head and founder of a virtual reality studio.
During his time at Rockstar, he worked on Red Dead Redemption 2 for PS4, XB1, and PC, according to his profile.

This is behind it: Players on PC hope and expect that Red Dead Redemption 2 will one day be released for PC, but there are doubts.
There are basically two scenarios:

Cortyn is excited about the new End Game Collapse in Dead by Daylight. But other aspects of the patch have also improved.
The Mid-Chapter Patch 2.7.0 of Dead by Daylight has been live for a few days and can be extensively played. From my perspective, this patch is one of the best updates that the 4vs1 horror game has received in recent years.
I would like to explain why this is the case.
What is the End Game Collapse? The “End Game Collapse” is a new phase in Dead by Daylight that occurs in the last minutes of a match. Once the Survivors have repaired all generators and opened the gate, the phase begins.
A timer now runs, at the end of which the Survivors will be killed if they have not already left the match by then. The Killer can also trigger the End Game Collapse – he can indeed open the gate himself.
The new endgame leads to spontaneous sacrifices.
Why the End Game Collapse makes the game much more exciting
From the Survivors’ perspective, the End Game Collapse is not just a disadvantage and a nerf, as one reads in many places, but also provides additional information. Since the End Game Collapse is only triggered when one of the gates is opened, it is clear: one of the two gates is already open, I can now escape even if the Killer is chasing me.
The times when one ran away from the Killer in a panic, only to realize at the last moment that none of the teammates had managed to open one of the gates, are over. Now one always knows that a gate is already open and can act accordingly.
The advantages of the End Game Collapse from a Killer’s perspective are also not to be underestimated. You can put pressure on the Survivors and independently open a door if, as a Killer, you see no chance anymore or just spot a favorable opportunity. After all, it can be worthwhile to initiate the End Game Collapse when one or two Survivors are on the ground. The remaining Survivors are then placed under time pressure to save their friends.
In the few days since the patch, I’ve experienced many cool moments where Survivors left the map at the last second or were executed by the Entity at the last moment.
Even the typical “camping” that happens at the end of a round when a Survivor is hanging next to an opened gate becomes really intense.
The end of disconnect matches
But even apart from the pure game mechanics, there are a few seemingly small changes that, however, have a big impact and effectively combat many players’ frustrations.
No matches with less than 4 Survivors: Dead by Daylight has long been plagued by several “loading screen bugs”. It can happen that a loading screen “loads endlessly” and the game never starts for a player. Or the game completely hangs during loading and does not respond anymore.
Both errors are annoying and frustrating. The developers are aware of these errors but have explained that the problem is complex and not so easy to solve. The compromise they have currently reached is the right step: If a player does not get through the loading screen, the match is simply canceled.
No loss of offerings: This also goes hand in hand with the second frustration factor. Because anyone who left a match too early not only left their team in the lurch, but also lost their offerings, items, and addons they wanted to use. Especially with rare offerings like the “Bloody Party Streamers”, which increase all players’ bloodpoints by 100%, this was annoying. Offerings and addons are now also returned when the match is canceled.
A few bugs remain
Of course, there are also a few bugs or (in my opinion) poor decisions that have crept into the game. I do not agree with the nerfs on the Killer “The Legion”. I acknowledge that he was too strong, but now he is just a shadow of his former self and the game feel is even worse than Freddy Krueger.
Dead by Disconnect – just a bug of the past.
There is also a new sound bug that causes already used meat hooks to continue playing the creepy noises from the Entity even though no Survivor is hanging on them anymore, which sometimes makes me sigh in frustration.
Overall, patch 2.7.0 is a massive improvement for Dead by Daylight that enhances the fun of the game and eliminates many moments of frustration. Killing and being killed hasn’t been this much fun in a long time.

In the State of the Game from May 8th, the developers talked about The Division 2 regarding Title Update 3 and when it will be released. Additionally, the PTS will go offline. Here are all the details from the stream.
When is Title Update 3 coming? In the community stream, the developers did not reveal an exact date, but the update is expected to be released next week.
While it is therefore not possible to say exactly on which day the patch will come – since maintenance is always scheduled for Thursdays, this could be a possible release day.
However, during the last major update on April 5th, maintenance was simply moved to a Friday. So we might have to wait and see.
This is what the update contains: Title Update 3 was not tested on the PTS (Public Test Server) without reason for about three weeks. It brings numerous

The online shooter Apex Legends has tons of annoying bugs. Some of them are scheduled to be fixed in the next patch according to the developers.
Which bugs are going to be fixed? Apex Legends has recently been receiving negative attention due to bugs. However, the developers have finally responded and plan to fix some of the worst issues in the upcoming update. These include:
Hit registration: It was often not recorded properly whether you hit or not. This is largely due to issues between the server and client. Respawn plans to fix a large part of these problems soon. However, due to the complexity of the issue, there may still be occasional cases of wrongly attributed hits, but these will also be eradicated over time.
Fortified bug: This annoying bug has caused many tears among fans of Caustic and the hefty Gibraltar. Because the two heroes were supposed to take less damage in compensation for their massive size. However, that didn’t work at all and is now set to be fixed soon.
Slow-motion bug: Some players experienced that the game ran in a sort of slow motion at the beginning. Here, they are on the trail of the problem and hope to have it isolated and fixed soon.
