The new expeditions of The Division 2 take you to the various sections of Kenly College. We will show you how to unlock the respective Secret Rooms in the library, subway, and student union to grab the daily loot – including the positions of the corresponding terminals.
What are expeditions? With Title Update 5, a new PvE activity was introduced – the expeditions. These are missions that take you to various areas of Kenly College outside of Washington D.C. and test your exploration, puzzle, and combat skills. The goal is to uncover the fate of a missing military convoy.
What are the loot rooms about? During the expeditions to Kenly College, you can secure daily loot from secret or locked rooms, called loot rooms. Each of the three college sections, namely
library
subway station
and student union
has its own loot room. However, these are locked and can only be opened during an active mission via one of the access terminals.
How do you get to Kenly College? You can start Kenly College via the map view or by speaking directly to the helicopter pilot at the operations base at the White House. This way, you can reach the college grounds. There, you can select the different wings and initiate a mission.
Note that a mission must be active to access the loot rooms.

The library was the first expedition section that went live. There are a total of 5 terminals distributed throughout this college section. One of them opens the locked door to the supply room. So head to the entrance of the library and start a mission.

Did the bug cost DisguisedToast the game? Even before Yasuo threw his allies into the air, it was clear that the streamer would lose the duel.

What happened: On August 5, mOE was in the middle of a CS:GO match and apparently deep into the game. He had just lined up for a snipe and thrown a grenade when the screen suddenly went black.
The streamer let out a loud “Nooo,” until he looked to the side and down. His daughter had sneaked up and turned off the PC.

What are the consequences? Streamers have a large reach and thus can reach hundreds of thousands of players even before the release of an expansion. These players then orient themselves to the experiences of the streamers and replicate their decks.
This leads to numerous players being seen with the same decks on the first day, and a “fixed meta” often forms within just a few hours. In the past, it took several days for the first favorites to emerge.
Streamers ruin the hype: Instead of boosting the hype for an expansion, these “pre-release events” tend to make players lose interest – even before an expansion is accessible at all. The features of Pascal’s Wager: The special aspect of Pascal’s Wager is the various characters available to players. Unlike in Dark Souls, there are six different playable characters to choose from. The trailer already shows some gameplay. Equipment and skills seem to play a big role. The combat against enemies looks tactical and seems to require quite a bit of skill.
The “Dark Souls” series is known for its challenging fights, frequent player deaths, and its unique, hard, and exciting boss battles. At least bosses have also been hinted at. Frequent deaths thus sound plausible.
This could be the story: Additionally, the first scenes already promise a story for players to explore. A small creature is delighted at the sight of a “living human,” which could hint at a kind of afterlife or realm of the dead.

Battlefield might be facing a tough time. At least that’s what a former high-ranking employee of EA thinks. He says that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be strong competition.
Who made the statement? Casey Al-Kaisy, a former Brand Manager at EA, has reported on the situation via Twitter.
Modern Warfare is said to move into the niche previously occupied by Battlefield V – namely large-scale battles. EA’s game could therefore face powerful competition, for which it now needs to react, according to Al-Kaisy.

Here is where the games have previously differed: So far, the Call of Duty franchise and the Battlefield series were two games that often competed against each other, but differed in key details like map size and maximum player count. This allowed both games to coexist, serving their own audiences and maintaining solid player numbers.
What’s coming with Modern Warfare: Infinity Ward has already announced that Modern Warfare will also feature multiplayer modes with up to 100 players (Ground War) and will provide the largest maps in Call of Duty history.

This is the feature: Once you have reached Level 30 and are progressing in the World Ranks, the Black Tusk occupy almost the entire map. You can no longer fast travel to the zones you previously owned.
However, it is still possible to quickly travel to the occupied zones. Look for the symbol of a green weapon on the map. This indicates allied convoys that you can fast travel to.

4. Tip: Boss Farming Made Easy
This is the feature: Specific open-world bosses can drop game cards that you can collect. The difficulty lies in first locating the bosses.
The quickest way to find named elite bosses is near the Operations Base, the White House. Every 30 minutes, a corresponding boss spawns on the lawn south of the White House.
The advantage: If you still need the trophy “The Color Looks Good on You, Sir!”, for which you need to collect card colors in the open world, you can easily and quickly achieve the goal this way.
If you have a boss in front of you whose game card you already own, you can fast travel to the Operations Base and revisit the boss location. There should be a new boss there. However, once you kill him, you have to wait 30 minutes for a new boss to spawn.
5. Tip: FOV Setting Available on All Platforms
This is the feature: FOV stands for “field of view” and expands your field of vision. This feature is now also available for consoles PS4 and Xbox One.
To do this, open the settings in the menu, go to “Gameplay”, scroll down, and select “Extended Field of View”. You can set this from 0 to 25. The same goes for “Extended Field of View when Aiming”.

6. Tip: Sell All the Loot
This is the feature: Many players do not realize that they can sell all the loot they find on the streets for credits. The loot ranges from crayons to children’s socks to solar-powered calculators. The advantage: At the merchants, you can sell the loot by holding the button displayed at the bottom of the screen (L3 on PS4). Keep in mind that you will sell all the loot this way. However, you may need some loot items for civilians or quests.
7. Tip: Reloading with Dodge Roll
This is the feature: If you want to gain an advantage in a hectic fight, you should learn this mechanic. It allows you to reload while performing a dodge roll.
You need good timing for this, which you can train. Press the reload button, wait a moment, and then perform a dodge roll. Once you stand up again, the weapon is reloaded and you have dodged dangerous shots in the meantime.
The advantage: While sprinting, you cannot reload. You switch to jogging. With this reload technique during dodging, you can be a second faster in hectic fights, which can make the difference between life and death.
8. Tip: Use Checkpoints for More than Just Blueprints
This is the feature: Checkpoints in The Division 2 are primarily used to obtain blueprints in the endgame. If you want to complete the exploration commendations, checkpoints can also be useful. For these commendations, you need to find loot containers in various missions.
Make sure you have activated the advantage “Detection 1” at the quartermaster, which allows you to see loot containers within a radius of 20 meters for 10 minutes when you donate enough resources to a checkpoint.
Here’s how: Donate resources to the checkpoint, start the desired missions, quickly find the loot containers in them, and collect the commendations.

9. Tip: Create Your Own Crafting Projects
This is the feature: Open your map and switch to the Projects tab in the top left. There you will see all the projects that you can complete.

The next expansion of World of Warcraft could be called “Shadowlands”. We reveal what it is supposed to contain and whether it could really be true.
The big “leak season” around World of Warcraft has begun again. On Reddit or in forums like 4chan, there is almost a new leak every day that supposedly reveals the upcoming expansion of World of Warcraft. If you search for it now, you will likely find a good dozen of “leaks” that claim to know exactly what will happen next in World of Warcraft. Obviously, most of them are just the figment of a fan’s imagination, but some ideas are so convincing that they could indeed be true.
That’s why we want to talk about the leak of “Shadowlands” today, as it sounds quite plausible. However, keep in mind that all information in this article is not confirmed content. Like all leaks, it could also just be made up.
This is World of Warcraft Shadowlands
Where does the leak come from? The leak first appeared in the 4chan forum. A user posed as an employee of Blizzard and explained that during a “Show&Tell” meeting, upcoming projects of Blizzard were presented to each other. Accordingly, the next expansion of World of Warcraft will be called “Shadowlands” and will lead to the eponymous Shadowlands.

What are the Shadowlands? The Shadowlands are the realm of the dead in World of Warcraft. When beings die, their souls are transported to the Shadowlands. Each race has a different name for the Shadowlands (such as “Spirit World”, “The Other Side” or “Realm of the Dead”), but they always mean the same thing. This is where the souls of the dead end up.
What is Shadowlands about? The expansion is supposed to focus on the souls in the Shadowlands. These are currently led over rivers to Ny’alotha and feed the old gods, who thus regain strength. Players have to cooperate with various entities of death (such as Elune and Helya) to fight back the Void, which is advancing in the Shadowlands.
This is what was leaked: Before we go into individual details, here is a list of the major points that were leaked. These are the current main features of the expansion and rough points of the framework:
Two new continents: Shadowlands and Dragon Isles
Bolvar (Lich King) brings the players to the Shadowlands.
New class: Tinkerer, who can fulfill all 3 roles (DPS, Healer, Tank). Uses heavy armor with intelligence as the main stat.
Remnants of Power as a secondary talent system (similar to artifact weapons or the essences for the Heart of Azeroth)
New scaling technique, through which item level and attributes don’t need to be shrunk again and again (“Stat-Squish”).
Champion system: We meet the spirits of fallen heroes, including Uther, Cairne, Vol’Jin, Varian, Saurfang, and Rhonin. But we will also meet some villains.
9 dungeons, 5 in the Shadowlands and 4 on the Dragon Isles.
The Old Gods are not dead, but they sleep in Ny’alotha. N’Zoth has redirected the souls of the dead from the war (Battle for Azeroth) to nourish the Old Gods.
On the Dragon Isles, you help all 4 dragon flights, especially the Black Flight, to be rebuilt. At the same time, you fight strange “Void Dragons”.
Additionally, here are things that explicitly will not be coming:
Helya is supposed to return – but friendlier and “prettier”.
The Vanguard of Death: The leak reveals a bit more about the story in the Shadowlands:
Story-wise, everything in the Shadowlands revolves around the souls of the fallen.
Elune, Helya, and “others” work together to stop the incursions of the Void into the Shadowlands.
Sylvanas has kept her pact with Helya and has been collecting souls for her.
The Night Warriors of Elune also bring souls to the Shadowlands.
Many of the fallen are met again in the Shadowlands.
Bwonsamdi works for Hakkar the Soulflayer, who just wants to consume souls to become more powerful.
The Old Gods exploited the death of the titan Argus to gain access to the Shadowlands.
N’Zoth ignited the war (Battle for Azeroth) to cause more death and be able to devour more souls.
Sylvanas has pushed the war forward to gather souls for Helya and not for Ny’alotha.
These are the new areas of Shadowlands
Some insights into the new zones of the Shadowlands were also revealed in the leak.
This is the Darkfront: At the Darkfront, there are three smaller factions, the Night Elves, the Death Knights, and Helya (with Sylvanas). Helya is allegedly now supposed to be “friendlier and prettier”. The main goal of this zone is to prevent Ny’alotha from consuming the souls of the deceased. As in all areas, this one is also permeated with “soul streams” that transport souls.
This is Morbara: The slain Blood Trolls from Nazmir have ended up in Morbara. Bwonsamdi works for Hakkar the Soulflayer and must procure souls for him. Players help to defeat Hakkar and restore Bwonsamdi as the Loa of Death.
Hakkar the Soulflayer – is he back in the game?
This is the Alnir Riftlands: Little is known about the Alnir Riftlands. It is supposed to be a “cauldron of original elements that shape the structure for all realities” and has a portal to each reality (such as the Emerald Dream). Here is supposed to lie the source of the Void incursions that fall into the Emerald Dream and the Dragon Isles.
This is Xiros: Xiros is a relatively peaceful area where spirits find their rest. The capital of the expansion will be located here. Many Astrals are active in this zone. The entire area is said to be inspired by Greece and Greek mythology.
No information has been leaked about the Dragon Isles and the individual zones.
A few explanations regarding the Shadowlands leaks
At first glance, much of “Shadowlands” may sound far-fetched, but once you delve into the details, the picture becomes clearer and more logical. Therefore, we have a few notes and speculations on how the story could logically connect.
Sylvanas wanted this lantern – as an exchange for a pact with Helya.
The deal with souls: Shadowlands would explain what kind of pact Sylvanas made with Helya back then, which is quite simple: Sylvanas is waging a war for Helya. Because when Sylvanas and her troops kill soldiers, the souls are brought to the Shadowlands and fall under the dominion of the being to whom the “murderer” has pledged.
This is confirmed by current lore in “Battle for Azeroth”. There, players make a pact with Bwonsamdi and fight in his name. By merely entering into this pact, trolls killed by the player are sent to Bwonsamdi after death.
Bwonsamdi would also be present in the Shadowlands.
The same is said to apply to Night Elves and their Night Warriors, according to Shadowlands. When Night Warriors slay other beings in battle, the souls land in the Shadowlands with Elune.
How does the Tinkerer fit in? Particularly conspicuous is the Tinkerer in the list of features. He seems like a foreign body that doesn’t fit at all. Even if the leak were fake, this detail would be too obvious and stands in stark contrast to the rest of the leak, which is coherent and logical.
However, this could be easily explained if the Tinkerer is not “part of Shadowlands”, but could instead be played as a pre-order bonus, similar to the Demon Hunter in Legion. That would fit well with the conclusion of Battle for Azeroth, where Horde and Alliance learned a lot from the Mechagnomes in Mechagon. A Tinkerer would make more sense than ever.
Argus was the Titan of Death: That the Shadowlands are now accessible to the Void has already been hinted at in Legion. There, the priest weapon Xal’atath thanked the player for giving the Void “access” to something, when they entered the room with the Titans. The Titans each have a fixed role in the pantheon, with Eonar standing for Life, for instance. However, the Titan Argus presumably stood for Death and was thus also the “guardian” over Death, namely the Shadowlands. We know this because Argus is referred to as “Deathtitan” in the game files and has many abilities that allude to it. Historically, this would fit perfectly.
Argus – the Titan of Death? Everything pointed to that.
The map is fitting: The design of the leaked map is quite good and contains many details that seem logical. For instance, there is a camp of the Shirakess in the “Alnir Riftlands”. The Shirakess are Naga who wield Void magic, which we’ve already seen in Nazjatar. Alnir Riftlands as such is also fitting, since the “Rift of Aln” has previously held great significance, where the final battle against Xavius occurred in the Emerald Nightmare. Other locations, such as Acherus in the north, are also coherent and fitting.
Another detail supporting the possible “authenticity” of the map is the black bar in the lower left corner. It probably contained a code that scrolls across the displayed image, which could have identified the leaker (such as the time and location of the presentation).
This speaks for “Shadowlands”
Many points support this leak. On one hand, Shadowlands would pick up many story threads that are still a bit up in the air. It is hard to deny that Death and the Realms of the Dead currently hold great significance in World of Warcraft. There are many examples:
The quest line about Vol’jin revolves around his death and why he did not end up in the realm of spirits.
Bwonsamdi, the Loa of Death, plays a significant role in Battle for Azeroth.
Sylvanas has an unclear pact with Helya, a ruler over souls. Helya herself is still alive, as we know from the island expedition quests.
The Lich King Bolvar has pursued his own goals since at least Legion, which are still unclear. He recruits new heroes, such as the Death Knight hero (Order Hall questline).
The quest line for the legacy equipment of the Tauren also speaks of problems in the spirit world, which are becoming increasingly threatening.
A reunion with old heroes in the Shadowlands also makes sense. For instance, popular characters from the Warcraft universe could be encountered again. This would also explain why Uther’s tomb was renovated in the Western Plaguelands. So far, there has been no reason or explanation for this. Naturally, that changes if Uther is one of the heroes from whom you can learn in the Shadowlands.

Another detail might sound “very far-fetched” to some, but for others, it is all the more convincing. One of the regions is called Xiros. This region is more or less peaceful and is somewhat like “the paradise” for souls. Here, their journey ends, and they find peace. The naming is a bit suspicious, as the Game Director of World of Warcraft mentioned in an interview that Greece greatly inspired him to venture into creating fantasy worlds. This is also because he has Greek roots.
He specifically mentioned the island of Syros – which is nearly pronounced the same as the region Xiros in English. It fits well that this particular region is supposed to be the “recreational area” of Shadowlands because the Game Director might have certainly had a hand in naming it.

This speaks against “Shadowlands”
As with all leaks, there are also some details that seem strange upon closer examination. We want to address these as well.
While the map is quite well made, the logo in the upper right corner raises suspicion. On one hand, it lies exactly over a part of the map, and why would one want to cover a section of the map when there is still enough space in the other corners?
Furthermore, the logo of “Shadowlands” looks very similar to that of Legion, featuring lighting that shines “from behind” World of Warcraft. So far, every logo has been unique, and motifs have not been reused. It is, of course, possible that this is still a “Work in Progress” and the logo is just a placeholder at this stage.
Additionally, the leak story seems a bit unrealistic. While it makes sense that Blizzard holds such meetings where the team shows each other what they are currently working on, it seems improbable that there would be no control over whether someone films something with a smartphone, or that smartphones would not be confiscated at the door. This does not fit with the otherwise strict secrecy Blizzard usually exercises. Some explain this by suggesting that Blizzard intentionally created this leak to generate hype.
Finally, there is the argument that the Shadowlands cannot actually be an independent place with its own continent. The Shadowlands are supposed to simply be another dimension of Azeroth that looks visually similar to Azeroth. Players experience them every time they die and have to run back to their corpse or speak with a spirit healer.

What you think of these counterarguments is up to you.
When will there be certainty? Whether the leak is really “legit” will only be revealed at the beginning of November. Because then the BlizzCon will take place, at which the reveal of the next expansion of World of Warcraft is expected. Until then, we have to wait and can speculate about leaks or ponder our own thoughts.

This is the story of the dwarves: The “Stout Axe” dwarves are described by the developers as a tough and “cruel” dwarven clan. They also received a Ring of Power, which they have never returned.
Due to this decision, the powers of Mordor besieged the home of the “Stout Axe” far in the east and captured a large part of the population, enslaving them.
In Mordor, the dwarves were enslaved for a long time.
The slaves spent their lives in the mines and smelters of Mordor, losing their identity and language over generations and physically changing until they eventually rebelled and were able to free themselves.

Here you have good chances of getting Shinys
Which Pokémon have different Shiny chances? The Reddit user “Tobiasz95” took the effort and compared data on Shiny chances. The Shiny variants occur more frequently in the following 10 Pokémon than in others:
Onix
Sichlor
Aerodactyl
Tannza
Barschwa
Perlu
Bronzel
Sniebel
Alolan Exeggutor (probably)
Lapras (probably)
Why are there different Shiny rates? All of these are Pokémon that are quite rare in the wild. However, to give players a chance to find a Shiny, Niantic slightly increases the rate.
Lapras and Alolan Exeggutor are so rare outside of events that the rate cannot really be determined yet. However, the chance seems to be increased as well.
What does this mean for players? Some Pokémon from the list can also be found in nests. This includes Sniebel, Sichlor, and Onix.
If you have such a nest in your area, you should definitely take advantage of it. This gives you the best chances of finding a rare Shiny.
Are there such Shinys in raids as well? Some raid Pokémon also have increased Shiny chances. These are mainly the Pokémon that you can only find in raids:
Flunkifer
Absol
Sheinux
Alolan Marowak
Alolan Raichu
all legendary Pokémon
Legendary Pokémon have a chance of 1 in 19. Here you have the best chances of getting a Shiny. All other Pokémon are likely to be around 1 in 30 to 1 in 75. However, a precise probability cannot be determined here either.
Are there Shinys from eggs as well? Baby Pokémon also have an increased Shiny chance. Here the probability is about 1 in 50.
It is also likely that the rate for shiny Alolan Pokémon is increased. While there is not yet enough data for this, it seems that they are also more frequent.
Are there any other such Pokémon? Two examples stand out a bit. The first Pokémon here is Pandir. It can be obtained only from quests and the Shiny chance is increased. It definitely does not sit at 1 in 450.
This is important regarding Shiny rates: Just because the probabilities are increased for these Pokémon, it does not mean you will definitely get them. In the end, luck plays a significant role. All Shiny hunters should be aware of this.

In the new shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, developer Infinity Ward is under criticism for using a killstreak that deploys white phosphorus, a horrific weapon. A game designer has now responded to this criticism, wondering why atomic bombs in previous Call of Duty titles did not receive as much attention.
What is the issue with “White Phosphorus?” White phosphorus is considered a terrible weapon of war in the real world. Phosphorus ignites upon contact with air and is almost impossible to extinguish. It causes horrific burns and deaths.
The criticism: CoD Modern Warfare strives to portray war as brutally as it actually is in the single-player campaign, but in multiplayer, it glorifies such a dreadful weapon.
White Phosphorus is “rather harmless” in Modern Warfare
This is how white phosphorus works in Modern Warfare: The site VG247 had the opportunity to observe the effect of white phosphorus in the game during the multiplayer reveal:
A smoke wall is created – it obstructs visibility
At the same time, phosphorus burns those players who get too close
A designer explains: In the game, phosphorus will not be as brutal as in real life. The player characters should only cough and fall to half health.
No special “burn” animations for phosphorus have been developed. Critics had concerns that these would be particularly gruesome and shocking.
Phosphorus as a realistic substitute for EMP
Where does the phosphorus in Modern Warfare come from? The function as a “protective wall” is the real reason why white phosphorus is in the game, explains multiplayer design director Geoff Smith. They wanted to find something to replace the old “EMP” killstreak.
Because the electromagnetic pulse as a means of disorientation, which disrupts the players’ interface, was probably too abstract for the realistic approach of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. EMPs did not fit in.
Multiplayer is not a statement on the brutality of warfare
Smith goes on to explain that in the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, they do not want to make a statement about how terrible modern warfare is. That’s not what multiplayer is for – it’s more of a playground and clearly separate from the single-player mode.
“Our game is more about two sides, there are no bad guys or good guys, you play as one of the sides. We are just creating this playground where the game is played.”
Smith wonders about the strong reaction to white phosphorus; after all, they had nuclear weapons in previous Call of Duty titles. But the atomic bombs did not provoke such strong reactions.
