At The Division 2 the Creative Director has fun with the players. He had the developers sneak a police car with a spelling mistake into the game and then challenged the players to hunt it down. An agent from Berlin found it. He is now expecting a care package from the developers.
This is the backstory: As Kotaku reports, this gag dates back to 2018. At that time, the Gamescom trailer for The Division 2 was released. In one scene of the trailer, it appeared that the word “Police” on a police car was misspelled. It looked like the “I” was missing because the door was open.
From this, a meme was born.
In February 2019, the Creative Director, Julian Gerighty, then told a fan: One will bring such a car into The Division 2. And he kept his word.
Apparently, the “Polce” car was brought into the game at some point in the weeks after, but no one was searching for it.
On August 21, Gerighty then specifically sent the players on the hunt, enticing them with a “prize.”
While searching for the car, his job as a guard helped him, as he learned to approach problems methodically. He apparently searched Washington, DC, street by street until he found the strange car.
The police car is misspelled and has a smiley face in the “O” (featured image).
Where is the car? The car is located west of the Lincoln Memorial near the highway underpass.

Gerighty has already congratulated on Twitter and announced that he will send the agent a care package with items from Massive and Ubisoft.
He asks if players want more of such scavenger hunts.
At the moment, things are quite calm in The Division 2, the developers are taking a communication break – the State of the Game is set. But soon the game is expected to pick up pace again, the next update is supposed to significantly improve The Division 2:
The probably most famous WoW player of all time and for a long time the “best warrior of Azeroth” is returning with Classic. Veterans may still remember Kungen.
If you played World of Warcraft 15 years ago and had a bit of knowledge about the raid scene, you also know the great legends and role models. One of them was the warrior Kungen, who was known for many years as “the best tank in the world”. With WoW Classic, he aims to dedicate himself to World of Warcraft once again.
Who exactly is Kungen? Thomas Bengtsson, who was known as Kungen back then, was considered the best warrior tank in the world during Vanilla and even in “The Burning Crusade”. For Autumn 2019, the MMORPG ArcheAge is planning not only Unchained but also the major Patch 6.0. This will bring not just graphic updates and small adjustments but also a highlight.
At gamescom, Vice President Mervin Lee Kwai III already gave us a glimpse into the now twelfth class specialization. He proudly pointed out that with the patch, up to 220 class combinations are possible.
What is the highlight of ArcheAge 6.0? The biggest new feature of the autumn update will be the class specialization Swiftblade. This is a melee fighter with one weapon in each hand.
In addition to the class specializations, there are other innovations, including graphic adjustments, a new PvP mode, and many quality-of-life changes.
When will the update be released? So far, there is no exact release date for 6.0. However, it is expected to come out this year in autumn.
New Class Specialization Will Be Action-packed
How does the Swiftblade play? According to Kwai III, the new specialization is aimed particularly at players who enjoy fast and action-packed battles.
The fights are so fast that I can’t keep up at my age of 39. The skills and movements are so quick, the cooldowns so short, it’s all just so much at once.
High speed represents the most significant difference from the already existing melee specializations. Accordingly, mastering the Swiftblade is said to be more difficult.
However, the fun in PvP is expected to be greater, provided you can handle the specialization well.
How is the Swiftblade received in Korea? In Korea, Update 6.0 and thus the new specialization is already playable. We in the West are already benefiting from the first balance changes:
The Swiftblade is received mixed in Korea. The class is very squishy but also very interesting. We have already collected all the data from XL Games and are making the first adjustments.
Players from EU/NA will not receive the original raw version of the Swiftblade.
Battle Royale at Sea
What new content is there? In addition to the class specialization, you can also look forward to a new instanced PvP mode.
This involves a battle at sea, in which 50 players can participate. The goal of the battle is to be the last player standing, a Battle Royale.

The First of Many Graphic Revisions
What changes will be made to the graphics? In addition to the content improvements, there are also some further adjustments for ArcheAge with 6.0. Among the bigger ones are the graphic adjustments in the starting area of the elves.
Some graphic layers and weather effects have been renewed. Mervin Lee Kwai III revealed to us that XL Games intends to make these adjustments in other areas in the future as well.
What changes will there be? The new patch is also supposed to make changes to the balancing of factions in the siege zones. So far, the fortifications there have been under the control of individual guilds.
In the future, the factions will be in the foreground. There will be weekly rotations so that each faction can enjoy each fortification.

In Destiny 2, the Solstice of Heroes is coming to an end. One realization remains for our author Tom: The strike playlist is terrible.
This is related to the summer event with strikes: I haven’t played strikes in Destiny 2 as frequently as I have in the last few weeks. Occasionally a couple of strikes for the weekly loot – sure. But playing 10 strikes back-to-back hadn’t happened in ages.
During the summer event “Solstice of Heroes”, this changed. Because anyone who wants to complete the Solstice armor has to complete a ton of objectives in strikes – and whoever wants to do this with all their characters will spend a lot of time in strikes.
That’s why the strike playlist is a nightmare: One evening while I was going through a strike marathon, I realized: “Man, Tom, you’re playing the same thing constantly!” The first strike of the evening was “The Hollow Hideout”. Then came the “Guardian of Nothing” strike, followed by “The Hollow Hideout” again, and then – for a change – another “The Hollow Hideout”.
And it just kept going like that. I think I only saw two other strikes while leveling up the entire armor. Once the Nokris strike and twice the Corrupted.
Other than that, the Forsaken strikes “The Hollow Hideout” and “Guardian of Nothing” monotonously alternated.

This is what other guardians say: During the Solstice of Heroes summer event, this topic kept coming up on reddit. One post even received over 5,400 upvotes, where the author complained about how bad the strike playlist is. Because 8 out of 10 strikes are always the same. We need more variety.
Another guardian created a ranking of how frequently the strikes appeared in the playlist for him. While “The Hollow Hideout” and “The Guardian of Nothing” came up very often, the “Will of the Thousands” or “The Armdealer” didn’t show up even once for him in the last 3 weeks.
However, the strikes actually aren’t lacking in variety. There are now quite a few strikes in the game – 14 in total + the PS4-exclusive strike “Brutefest”. The problem is merely that the strike playlist oddly favors some strikes and neglects others. The Forsaken strikes are currently dominating completely.
Will the strike situation improve with Shadowkeep? In an interview with gamesradar, Bungie’s Ben Wommack revealed that there will be two new strikes in Shadowkeep. One is on the Moon and the other is on Io.
So there won’t be a lack of strikes. The question is just whether the strike playlist will allow for more variety then.
By the way: I just recently got the Solstice armor to the Majestic rank for my Titan. And by dismantling some exotic ships that had been gathering dust in my vault for ages, I was also able to buy the Arc armor glow. How pretty he looks now, you can admire in the featured image of this article.

In the current Team of the Week 43 in FIFA 19, there is an inconspicuous new card hidden. It has an overall rating of 81 and is nevertheless better than many top stars.
The new Inform card of Dario Tadic may only have an 81 overall rating, but surprisingly it can compete with Icons and TOTS cards. Let’s take a closer look at the card.
This is Dario Tadic: The striker from Austria is 29 years old and is contracted to TSV Hartberg. For the Austrian Bundesliga team, he has already scored 76 goals in 126 games. A really strong yield!
With a hat-trick last week, he earned his first TOTW card. And this card has a lot to offer.
So strong is his card: A striker card with a rating of 81 would normally not catch your eye twice. However, with Tadic, a second look is worth it, as the card has incredibly strong values.
The striker especially excels in pace, shooting, and dribbling stats. However, the physical attributes are also solid. He has everything that makes a good striker in FIFA 19.
Even his 4-star weak foot is really strong and makes scoring goals much easier. In terms of price, TOTW-Tadic is an absolute bargain, as for 13,000 coins, he belongs to you.
The only disadvantages are his 3-star skill moves and his difficult linkability to other players.
These top cards cannot compete
Ruud Van Nistelrooy: The Dutch legend has a strong 92-rated card with the Prime Icon version, which currently still costs a proud 350,000 coins. However, in terms of values, Tadic’s card is slightly better.
Especially in the areas of pace, passing, and physicality, Tadic is ahead. For shooting and dribbling, both cards are roughly equally strong. However, what gives Tadic a significant advantage are his 4-star weak foot. Van Nistelrooy only offers 3 stars.

The biggest differences are in the areas of shooting, dribbling, and physicality.

Fortnite: Battle Royale has finally taken a big nerf for the Mech. But are the players and Twitch pros who have been complaining for weeks now satisfied?
What is the Mech nerf about? The Mech “B.I.E.S.T.” in Fortnite has been a major point of contention in the community since its introduction at the beginning of Season 10. According to Epic, the vehicle is mainly designed to help newcomers achieve quick kills and successes.
Many players and pros feel this is not good because, from their perspective, a Mech often decides the game. After long complaints and minor adjustments, the Mech has now been noticeably nerfed: It now shoots fewer rockets, among other changes, and no longer automatically collects resources that it stomps.
But is that enough to reconcile the angry players?

Some even suspect a conspiracy behind it all. Epic allegedly withheld the nerf deliberately until other games, like the Alpha of Modern Warfare, launched, causing players to migrate. The theory suggests that the nerf aims to lure players back in droves and undercut the competition.

Hi-Rez now announces the closure of the servers for Smite Tactics (PC, PS4, Xbox One) or “Hand of the Gods.” This was supposed to expand and strengthen the “Smite” brand, but the mix of X-Com and Hearthstone was never really successful. In the last 30 days, Smite Tactics had an average of only 1.8 players on Steam.
What kind of game is Smite Tactics? It’s not that easy to describe. After the success of the action MOBA Smite, the studio, Hi-Rez, wanted to establish more games under this brand.

How to win “Chiliad uphill” in GTA Online
The route: Instead of following the normal path from the start, you’ll first race straight up the mountain. You’ll follow the last part of the route on the paved path and take a shortcut just before the finish.
This is how the drive goes: Right at the start, turn left. Then go straight through the bush, left past the tree, up a slope.
Now you’re on a patch of grass that leads straight up and turns into a rocky slope. Follow this path up until you reach large rocks that you can jump over.
You are now on the section of the route with the paved path. Follow this as fast as you can. But be careful, just before the finish there is a tight turn, slow down there. In the last meters, you’ll rush up these rocks (with momentum) and fly into the finish.

The Water Festival 2019 in Pokémon GO has started and brings some new Shinies, special quests, and other bonuses with it. We provide an overview of the Water Event along with a spawn list.
How long does the Water Event last? The festival in Pokémon GO lasts for 7 full days and ends on August 30 at 10 PM. Until then, you can fully take advantage of all the bonuses.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2vs2 Alpha has recently begun. But many players are already annoyed by a certain graphics feature. Are you too?
What is the Modern Warfare Alpha about? Yesterday, on August 23rd, the open alpha test for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare started – but only on PS4.

However, many players are currently annoyed by a specific feature.
This feature is about: It specifically concerns a visual effect in the game. When severely injured in the Multiplayer of Modern Warfare 2019, your screen not only gets some blood splatters but also turns completely black and white.
This is new and does not sit well with many players and is therefore being intensely discussed. One of the current top threads regarding the alpha of Modern Warfare with over 1,100 upvotes criticizes this feature and calls for a return to the “old” model.
What is the problem with this feature? What many find annoying about this effect: The frequent color change is already very irritating for the eyes. Moreover, on most maps and in many situations, it is much harder to recognize opponents due to the black-and-white effect. This would not really contribute to realism, while at the same time making comebacks after severe injuries unnecessarily difficult.
In earlier series installments, there were also visual limitations in comparable situations (field of vision becomes narrower, red edges, etc.), but the colors remained intact, allowing for better reactions to enemy movements than with the new black-and-white effect.
Some players would already be satisfied if the color contrast were not so intense. A bit less color intensity instead of a complete black-and-white view would be enough for many players.
Others do not understand the fuss at all and can live well with the black-and-white screen as soon as they get used to it. Again, others say it is purely a matter of taste and one cannot please everyone anyway.
Could this graphic detail change soon? This criticism of the black-and-white effect has not gone unnoticed by the developers at Infinity Ward. In a Reddit thread where players are supposed to submit feedback on the Modern Warfare Alpha, they have already commented on it.
They have already seen the comments about it. While they cannot make any promises at the moment, it is something they can take a look at.
Completely ruled out are changes regarding this effect.

Less than 24 hours after the discussion, the issue is off the table. Blizzard bans addons like “ClassicLFG” in WoW Classic and will deactivate them.
Just yesterday, the discussion in the World of Warcraft Classic community heated up, and now there is a “verdict” from Blizzard. The LFG addon will not work in WoW Classic, and such functions are not to be used in Classic. These addons would be “incompatible with the social design” of Classic.
What is the LFG addon? In WoW Classic, there are no group search tools and no dungeon finder either. To make it easier to find groups, some players wanted to use an interface addon that would allow them to list their own groups, similar to the current WoW. Other players could then apply for a spot in the group or add their own groups to the list.
What has Blizzard said? In the official forum, Blizzard stated that they have been following the discussion regarding addons like ClassicLFG. After a thorough investigation, the developers concluded that addons like ClassicLFG do not fit the vision of WoW Classic.
In an upcoming patch, which will be released a few weeks after launch, Blizzard will change the addon API so that such interface addons will lose a significant part of their functionality.

What is The Division 2?The Division 2 is the sequel to Ubisoft’s MMO shooter The Division. The story continues here, and the agents move on to Washington. The second part is supposed to offer more content, especially in the endgame, and continue the story.
What are the highlights? The Division 2 will further develop its loot and equipment system and has drawn inspiration from the Exotics in Destiny. Additionally, there are plenty of new skills and various play styles to tackle missions and raids in the game.
A few games have also been announced for the 2nd quarter. As soon as we know more about the releases, this will be updated.

What is World War Z? World War Z is a zombie coop shooter. So if you enjoy mowing down absurd hordes of undead with friends, you will surely have fun here. The game is based on the movie of the same name.

What are the highlights? Zombie shooters are certainly not new, but World War Z aims to spice up the genre with a few new features. The zombies act as an intelligent swarm, finding very creative solutions to take you down.
Additionally, there is a special PvPvE mode where you fight against zombies and other players at the same time.
Similar to the cult classic Left4Dead, you have various classes to choose from, including a melee class, a weapon expert, or a healer.

As the sole survivor of a botched mission, you fight against a rogue elite squad and their drone machinery on a fictitious island.
What are the highlights? Breakpoint stays true to the successful formula of Ghost Recon. You can use your drones to scout the enemies and then either take them out precisely or charge in like Rambo and take them all down.

What is ArcheAge Unchained? The new Unchained version of the MMORPG ArcheAge is essentially the same game.
Unchained is released directly with the new patch 6.0 and also includes all content from the current Free2Play version. The major difference is that you need to spend at least 26 euros for the game account.

What are the highlights? The new CoD wants to return to the roots of the series. This means there is no science fiction fluff like in the unpopular Infinite Warfare, and pop culture elements like zombies are missing this time.
What is Red Dead Redemption 2? Since October 2018, players can already enjoy this Western adventure from Rockstar Games on PS4 and Xbox One. Fans had to wait a long time for the announcement of a PC version. However, about a year later, it was released and brings joy to PC players.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, you experience the story of an outlaw gang in the Wild West of a fictional America. You play in a vast, open world in 1899, which offers you a main storyline and many side quests. Through the missions, you intensely experience the story of RDR 2 and uncover many details about all characters in Red Dead Redemption 2 .
After a failed robbery in Blackwater, you are on the run as Arthur Morgan with the Van der Linde gang. You are wanted by federal agents and bounty hunters. Due to the many events that the group experiences together, conflicts arise. You must decide whether to act for yourself or in the interest of the gang you grew up with as Arthur Morgan.
Additionally, there’s an online mode that has been continuously filled with new content since release. Just recently, Rockstar Games added an RPG system with the three different roles Bounty Hunter, Trader, and Collector.
What is Sword and Shield? With these two games, the 8th generation arrives in the Pokémon universe. Numerous new Pokémon are waiting to be discovered, and various monsters from previous generations reappear. Pokémon Sword and Shield is the next installment in the Pokémon games, which had great success on the Gameboy back in the 90s.
What are the highlights? The actual single-player RPG gets Coop Raids, giving it a crucial MMO factor. For the first time, players can fight alongside other trainers in raids and defeat overpowering Dynamax Pokémon.

What are the highlights? For online gamers, especially the new PvP mode “Battlemode” will be interesting. This is not a classic deathmatch but an asymmetric battle between two demons (Revenant and Mancubus) and a Doom Slayer.

What are the highlights? Starbase will be a massive sandbox game. You will play as a robot, building ships and stations alongside other players as you please. This is made possible by a hybrid technology of voxel and vertex as well as a proprietary programming language in the game.
You can build just about any part in the game yourself, creating wildly imaginative designs for spaceships and stations. There are also exciting adventures in exploring the seemingly endless universe and battles against other players.

What are the highlights? The unique aspect of Crowfall is that you only spend a limited time in the campaigns. Eventually, the world will be consumed by an undead plague. However, between campaigns, you can stay in an eternal kingdom and build permanent things. Crowfall is said to play like “a season of Game of Thrones”.
What are the highlights? Enlisted aims to capture not the war as a competitive PvP event, but the chaos and realism of real battles. Therefore, bullets are quickly deadly and the lifespan of your soldiers is often quite short. Luke Smith has introduced players to the work on Destiny 2 with his blog posts in recent weeks. He even provided a small glimpse into the future. He may have even touched on a rumor about Destiny 3 that persists.
What are these rumors? Destiny 2 is still ongoing, but the rumor mill about a supposed Destiny 3 is already stirring. There are many theories about how the franchise will continue after Destiny 2.
Especially the theories about an open world are popular and are mentioned repeatedly.
What does Luke Smith say about it? In his blog series “Director’s Cut,” franchise head Luke Smith has written down his thoughts about the Destiny series. He didn’t go into detail about some things, or only hinted at them, like a possible return of the Trials in Destiny 2.
Some statements in the blog also read as if Smith is directly referencing the open-world rumors:
A game that grows forever is not what we can support. […] Aside from technical constraints, we also don’t believe that a game that grows forever is the path of Destiny. Therefore, the second component of the vision is a single, evolving world (to clarify: this single evolving world does not mean there should only be one destination in the Director – that is not what we are aiming for!).
If Smith was referring to the open-world rumors regarding Destiny 3, it could mean that there wouldn’t be too much change compared to Destiny and Destiny 2 in a possible continuation. Instead of an open world, as predicted in the rumors, Guardians may continue to fly to various destinations on the map.
On the other hand, Bungie has often used the statement of a “single, evolving world that you can play with your friends anytime and anywhere” recently in connection with the upcoming expansion Shadowkeep. To unite players, there are these new features:

Soon, Mewtwo will return to Pokémon GO and will also bring the move Psystrike. But how strong will Mewtwo be with this attack?
When will Mewtwo return? The legendary Pokémon is part of the Ultra Bonus, which runs for 3 weeks in September. Mewtwo itself will only come in the last week, from September 16 to September 23.
During this time, there will be Shiny Mewtwo for the first time, and the new move Psystrike will be introduced. Until now, this attack cannot be learned.

What can the attack do? Psystrike is a charge attack of Psychic type and has two bars.

Statistically, it is a solid attack, but it does not make Mewtwo extremely overpowered. Compared to the previous Psychic move Psyshock, the new attack performs slightly better. This is mainly due to two reasons:
The damage per second is slightly higher with Psystrike than with Psyshock
Psystrike has two charge bars, allowing it to be used faster
The new attack is particularly interesting in gym battles. There, it is better to use a fast charge attack rather than a big one that takes a long time to charge.
Is the attack worth it? Psystrike does make Mewtwo better, but the difference to Psyshock is not very large. Having a Mewtwo with Psystrike on the team is definitely a good choice.
Nevertheless, one must consider that a Psychic Pokémon is rarely truly useful. The type is only effective against Fighting and Poison, and there are only a few Pokémon of those types in gyms and raids.
