In Thailand, young students participated in an eSports tournament. This would be nothing new if it weren’t for the fact that they were Buddhist monks. Hardly anyone would have thought that the young students of a monastery school would actually win.
What kind of students are they? A group of young monks participated in an eSports tournament this month in Thailand. The young students are in the upper grades of Balee Sathit Suksa, a school that trains monks.
In the school, the monks study Buddhism for twenty hours a week, but they are also educated in secular subjects, such as computer science. In a computer class, the students learned about eSports and began practicing with a mobile game in their free time.
What kind of tournament was it? The tournament was held at a university. The young monks wanted to prove themselves in the mobile game “Speed Drifters” – and even won.
“The novices wanted to try participating in this competition. So we gave them this opportunity. However, we did not expect them to actually win,” said Kokkiad Chaisamchareonlap, the academic coordinator and head monk of the school.
The monks’ school was not the only religious institution to participate in the tournament. However, it was the only religious school that could also take home a prize.
In this mobile game, the monks competed
For this, the students are criticized: However, not everyone in Thailand is happy about the monks’ victory. Online, the students are criticized for wearing their monks’ robes during the competition. This would be “inappropriate”.
The head monk Kokkiad disagrees and says that it is important for students to pursue and develop their interests. “We wanted to give the students an opportunity. Many of them do not have that, as they come from poor families or broken homes.”
The hype around WoW Classic has caught Twitch by storm. Well-known streamers like Shroud are suddenly streaming the MMORPG. The biggest Twitch streamer for WoW Classic is Asmongold, a self-proclaimed WoW nerd. He had a great evening at the launch until the connection dropped.
What is going on with Twitch? It was already noticeable before the launch that Twitch streamers were really into WoW Classic:
The big well-known WoW streamers like Asmongold and Sodapoppin streamed the preparation and caused some issues. Players feared landing on the same server as the WoW streamers and their hordes of fans – they were afraid that they would ruin their “retro experience”.
But also well-known shooter players like Shroud or Summit1g kept playing Classic – also because there are currently no alternatives. Shroud, for example, played for 25 hours straight at the release and seems to have been as hooked as certain MeinMMO demons.
How many watched WoW Classic at launch? On launch day, World of Warcraft Classic peaked at 1.1 million viewers on Twitch. That’s significantly more than GTA V (140,000), Fortnite (90,000), or LoL (70,000).
Also prominent were Sodapoppin, Shroud, LIRIK, and DrLupo.
The Twitch streamer Asmongold.
The king and the disconnect
How was Asmongold’s stream? Asmongold’s stream came to a sudden end. He was leveling and had about 150,000 viewers in WoW Classic.
It was generally going great for the Twitch streamer. As Forbes reports, Asmongold gained 5,000 new subscribers early in the evening, which translates to just over $12,000 in monthly subscription revenue coming through Twitch.
Everything was going smoothly for Asmongold until a disconnect from the server kicked him out.

https://youtu.be/VtepdddaY-Q
Mixed Reviews
How is the release version received on Steam? The overall ratings are currently at 61%. For the past 30 days, the game has even only received 58%. However, it should be noted that the reviews from the early access phase are still included.
Upon release, Pagan Online received a very extensive update that not only addresses the points criticized by players but also introduces new content. So we must wait to see how the reviews develop in the coming days and weeks.
What do the players think? The reviews are still quite mixed even after release. Some players find Pagan Online quite good, while others have quite a few criticisms. These include server stability, bugs, and the unbalanced difficulty level.
[Ygg]Azarhiel writes on Steam: “Suddenly, there are enormous increases in difficulty mid-story without apparent reason. It still plays very slowly, and you don’t feel properly rewarded for the time spent.”
WITCH HUNT explains: “A game with great potential. I think it’s fantastic, and it still has the chance to grow further. Some characters really feel good.”
Join in as well
How do you participate? You can buy Pagan Online directly on Steam. The game costs 24.99 euros. Then you can start right away.
This is how the release version has already improved: At launch on August 27, Pagan Online received another major update that introduced a number of innovations and changes:
New Content – The two new playable characters Hector and Eldan were added, along with additional bosses, items, maps, zones, and more
60-Hour Campaign – The campaign, inspired by Slavic myths and spanning eight acts, can now be completed
Expanded Control Options – At many players’ requests, “Click-to-Move” control is now available in Pagan Online, and it supports gamepads
Revised Systems – Item drops and recipes have been revised to offer greater variety. Additionally, the crafting system has been optimized
New Skill Trees – You can now enhance your hero with new skill trees to create a more personalized build
The developers of Gearbox Software have now revealed what your PC must be capable of to play Borderlands 3 and with which system specs you can get the graphical maximum out of the game. Here are the official system requirements as well as possible graphic settings.
Until now, games in the Borderlands series have not necessarily been known for massive hardware requirements. And it looks like that will not change with the latest installment of the series. This is what your PC needs to handle to dive into the adventures of Borderlands 3 soon:
System Requirements for Borderlands 3 on PC
Minimum Hardware Requirements for 1080p Resolution
Operating System: Windows 7/8/10 (with the latest service pack)
To further optimize the performance of your PC, you have various graphical options at your disposal to play around with. Here is a list of all your options:
Blizzard has made some changes to the labels showing the server statuses in WoW Classic. We will reveal what the new state means.
Anyone wanting to join a realm in World of Warcraft Classic always takes a look at the current population of the realm. Is it currently “medium”, “high”, or even “full”? That would mean long waiting times. However, queues were often present, seemingly regardless of the population of a realm. Therefore, Blizzard is changing how the population is calculated and what it means.
How was the display previously? Previously, the display of the current population was based on what other realms had in terms of load. For example, if the PvP server “Lucifron” was completely full (“full”) and had a queue of 30,000 players, other PvP realms that were also nearly full but had a shorter queue would instead be displayed as “medium” or even “low”. This was misleading and caused discontent among players.
Clearly “medium” – isn’t it?
What will change now? After the hotfix (which is already live), realms will now show a population status that is based solely on their own state and the maximum number of players on that realm. Consequently, this means:
“Medium” has a healthy population and still has space for more players.
“High” means that the realm is close to having a queue.
“Full” means that the realm has no space for additional players, and a queue has occurred.
As a result, it should now be immediately apparent which realm one can play on and where a queue is forming.
The labels now finally make sense.
Have you switched to a new server after the surge? Or have you remained loyal to your realm even with the queue?
Destiny 2 will be losing old content moving forward as new content is added. Maybe that’s a good thing.
Why is old content being removed? Game Director Luke Smith recently talked about the future of Destiny 2. He announced that Destiny 2 will seasonally place some activities into retirement, which will then be replaced by new content. The game is not to be bloated with old activities any longer.
Limited-time content may seem like a step back in the eyes of many Guardians. After all, they want to play when they have the time and desire, not according to some silly requirements. However, Bungie’s decision to rotate content in and out could lead to more motivation and a stronger, more active community.
Will the forges soon be gone?
Bungie will pay more attention to what you play seasonally
Which content will be removed? That is still unknown. Smith only announced that there will not be two Gambit activities forever and that with each season they want to enhance game maintenance.
Currently, Smith states, there are far too many sources for Powerful Gear, as new sources have been added additively. In the future, they want to do better in this regard and are likely to close some sources that feel like a tedious obligation.
The removal of content likely affects both old and new activities. New content should be consumed during the respective season, preparing for the new season and replaced by content from the next season.
Every three months, thus the content you can play in Destiny 2 will rotate.
This decision will frustrate some Guardians
These are the downsides: Many Guardians enjoy reliving old content during quiet times. They play the content they were addicted to a year ago to revive pleasant memories. However, if Bungie disables this content, the “journey to the past” will cease. After all, there are still some Guardians who enjoy logging into Destiny 1 today – just for the good old days.
Moreover, the limited access to activities poses a disadvantage to players who can only indulge in their Guardian duties extensively every few months during vacation days. When activities are missing that they need for an Exotic or another item they desire, it is quite frustrating.
However, the biggest concern lies in the fact that Bungie has not clearly communicated which content and how much content will be removed seasonally. And the most exciting question is: When and in what form will the content return?
This is how legends can be born
The advantages of the decision: Removing options for what Guardians can play has the clear advantage of tightening the player base. The matchmaking pool for new activities will become fuller, which generally leads to shorter wait times and a better player experience.
Additionally, limited-time content creates a sense of urgency. Anyone who wants to play everything and obtain every item must stay on top of it continuously.
So far, many Guardians play like this: At the beginning of a season, they intensely play the new content and gather a lot of loot. However, after a few weeks, the feeling broadens: “I’ll just leave it at that; I’ll get the rest of the loot someday in the coming seasons.”
Anyone who wants to complete their collections can no longer take it easy but must achieve their goals within a few months.
Luke Smith promised that the loot from seasonal content will later be available through other loot sources. However, what that will look like exactly is still unknown.
Not everyone had it back then – the cult weapon Gjallarhorn
Time-limited content also has the advantage of creating “legends.” More precisely: new legends around powerful weapons.
In a few years, when a Guardian veteran plays with fresh Guardians and the Guardian newcomer asks: “Misconduct, where did you get that weapon from?” then the veteran can tell the story of how he obtained it in Gambit and in the strike in the Dreaming City. Because possibly the Dreaming City has long since evolved and broken the curse:
Old weapons that are no longer obtainable thus become status symbols – something that shows everyone else: “I was there back then!”
If items are available for a limited time, stories can be spun around them. Legends do not arise when every item can be obtained anytime through a random drop…
Fate of the Moon – one of the most legendary weapons from Destiny 1
Alfalfa86 finds limited-time content to be “inconvenient.” He thinks a dynamic, changing world is good, but not missable content. “Especially not if it should be lore-rich content.”
Patrick BELCL likes the approach but does not find it consistent enough that the loot will be available later through other sources. He advocates for truly time-exclusive loot.
RaZZor 89 also asks: “Why not just leave the stuff in, making it more special?”
The hocitR agrees: “I would find it cool if you could only achieve certain things within a certain time […] You can’t have everything in life, so why not also in the game?”
KingK writes: “Very good. When I think about which chewed-up content I’ve had to do again for the Solstice armor or still have to do. Fresh air in each season sounds good.”
Opinions are widely divided. From “Completely unnecessary” (Antester) to “I think it’s good” (Marcel Brattig), there are many opinions.
So let us know in the comments what you think. Do you find the limited-time content useful, or does it not suit you at all?

For Germany, there are 4 new servers in World of Warcraft Classic. Both PvE and PvP players now have more options.
Update 16:30 – Shortly after the opening of Patchwerk, another PvP server was opened for Germany: Dragon’s Call.
Update 18:30 – Another new server has been opened. This time the PvE server Lakeshire invites you to play.
Update 18:54 – The PvP realm Transcendence has been opened.
Since the launch of World of Warcraft Classic a few hours ago, the realms have been fiercely overrun and in some cases even overloaded. There are often waiting times of several hours, at the end of which the login finally happens. Especially on PvP servers, the problem is particularly severe right now – but now there is some relief.
New German PvP and PvE servers: Blizzard has just opened a new German-speaking server. It is named “Patchwerk” and is consequently named after a boss from Naxxramas.
Shortly after, the opening of the server “Dragon’s Call” was announced. A few hours later, another server was opened, this time for PvE fans: Lakeshire. Shortly thereafter, another PvP server: Transcendence.
Now there are a total of 8 German-speaking realms:
Everlook
PvE
Razorfen
PvE
Lakeshire
PvE
Patchwerk
PvP
Lucifron
PvP
Venoxis
PvP
Dragon’s Call
PvP
Transcendence
PvP
Should you switch? If you are currently playing on one of the other two PvP servers (Lucifron or Venoxis) and struggling with the waiting queues, you should consider switching. If you haven’t decided yet where to play, you should definitely choose the new realm. There is still plenty of space for new players there, and thus the waiting times will be correspondingly short. With the current influx, the new realm will likely fill up again in some time.
Are more realms coming? Blizzard reserves the right to open more realms if there is demand. Especially the PvP servers seem to be particularly popular in Classic in the European area, as they are experiencing a particularly strong influx.
Since the opening of the first new realm Patchwerk, three more have already been added. It will remain to be seen when there are enough realms for the players.
Will you switch to the new server Patchwerk? Or have you already settled on a realm and won’t turn back?
You’ll find more exciting articles about WoW Classic here:
Just before the release of WoW Classic, some longtime fans exchanged ideas in the forum. Their plan: Songs from the year they were taken to Azeroth by their favorite game. Dozens of players participated with hundreds of posts.
What kind of thread is this? User Bitterleaf created a thread in the official forum of World of Warcraft shortly before the launch of WoW Classic on the night of August 26 to 27. Nostalgically, he posted a song from 2005 – the release year of World of Warcraft.
This is how well the idea was received: Some players initially approached the idea with skepticism. User Thêbe writes:
If you had said 90s/80s, I would have enough to post, but the 2000s have pretty much passed me by.
Presumably, many of the original Classic players grew up with music from the 90s or earlier. Nevertheless, a surprisingly large number of titles came together that sweetened the release of Vanilla WoW in 2005 for players.
So far, a total of 213 posts have been made (as of August 27 at 5:50 PM). Even the German community manager Toschayju participated with his 10-hour version of “Live to Win”.

Hype for WoW Classic
with Metal, Rock, Pop, and more
These songs were shared: The songs that fans have literally thrown around there cover a wide range of different directions. Old metal and rock songs were particularly frequently shared, such as those by Motörhead, System of a Down, Green Day, Soil, or the Bloodhound Gang:

But pop songs like those by the Gorillaz or Sarah Connor, and even German songs, succeed in igniting the nostalgia of fans. Bands like Fettes Brot and Söhne Mannheims, as well as fun groups like JBO and Knorkator, are mentioned here.

Lastly, of course, the songs and videos that only came about because of WoW cannot be missing. Songs that are simply accompanied by WoW gameplay as a video, but also “classics” like The Internet is for Porn and songs by the legendary German WoW songwriter Jan Hegenberg:

Many fans – and certainly our author Benedict – were probably drawn even more strongly into nostalgia by these old songs than WoW Classic already manages to do. What about you? Which songs accompanied you back in 2005?
The songs are still a good way to shorten the eternal waiting times in the game when our tips aren’t enough:
In the co-op shooter Remnant: From the Ashes, the bosses are one of the highlights. Players must analyze the attacks of the enemies, find their weak points, and ideally dodge in time. However, when facing a boss, not even the best cover can help.
This is the boss in question: In the co-op shooter Remnant: From the Ashes, which was released on August 20, there are currently 20 bosses, each more different than the last. Each one requires a unique strategy of dodging, attacking, and taking cover.
However, one of these bosses has no interest in “cover”: The Unclean One, which you can encounter in the world of Corsus in The Shack. The clip, posted by player Kossuranta on the Remnant Reddit, now shows how quickly the fight against the colossus can end.
The player had already reduced the boss’s health by more than half and wanted to take cover behind a wall against the smaller enemies. Out of nowhere, the weapon of The Unclean One, a large hammer, crashed through the wall and critically hit Kossuranta’s character.

The wall behind which the player had taken cover even splintered. Even though Kossuranta still had nearly full health, the hammer attack knocked him to the ground.
Remnant: From the Ashes Boss – What You Should Note About The Unclean One
These are the attacks: The Unclean One has several attacks you should watch out for. One of the attacks can even be beneficial for you.
Weapon Leap: The Unclean One jumps from a distance into the air and strikes at you with his weapon. Wait until he is almost landed and dodge forward. If you land behind the boss, you can hit his backside, which is one of his weak points.
Belly Strike: The boss jumps at you with his large belly. Here you can only try to dodge to the sides.
Tree Hit Combo: The boss strikes three times with his weapon. Be careful, this attack has a huge range. Try to dodge his blows and attack his head (another weak point) when he finishes the combo.
Weapon Whirlwind: The Unclean One swings his hammer in a circle and can destroy objects in his surroundings. It’s best to run away from him and strike when he finishes his attack. You can also lure him into enemies who will likewise be hit by his attack.
Weapon Throw: As seen in the video, the boss throws his hammer, even through walls and objects. Dodge this attack and strike him when he tries to retrieve his hammer.

What players are saying: On the Remnant Reddit, other players are excited about the clip. Such scenes are exactly what players love about the shooter.
Some users have also provided useful tips for the fight against The Unclean One. Consumables like Adrenaline and Damage Dust are said to simplify the battle. If you are good at dodging, you should rely on damage debuffs that deal passive damage to the boss. This way, you can dodge the entire time and only attack The Unclean One a few times, while the DoTs do the rest.
We have more tips and tricks for Remnant in this article:
In Pokémon GO, many players are probably facing the task “Catch 50 Steel or Psychic type Pokémon” for the Jirachi special research. We will show you how to solve it quickly.
What kind of task is this? At level 4 of the special research about Jirachi, you need to catch 50 Steel or Psychic type Pokémon. Only then can you complete the next stages and catch Jirachi.
Catching the 50 Pokémon is not easy. After all, the Water Festival is currently running, and the required Pokémon are rare.
Catching Steel and Psychic Pokémon – It’s that easy
This will help you: The easiest way to get many Steel Pokémon is the Meltan Mystery Box. There, you get about 20 Meltan each time, and if you catch them all, you have already completed almost half of the task.
Catch these Pokémon: During the current Water Festival, especially Water type Pokémon are around. Shellder is the right Pokémon here, as it is both Water type and Psychic type. It’s worth it.
Even during an event, there is always a Pokémon that feels present: Mr. Mime. This regional monster is still frequently found and is also Psychic type.
Mr. Mime is a great help in solving the task
Additionally, Pokémon like Onix, Meditite, or Natu can also be found. They all count towards the quest.
What you need to consider: In the end, the situation should generally improve after the water event. Especially when it is cloudy, Mr. Mime will be around every corner. In windy weather, you will also see other Psychic Pokémon.
The Water Festival ends on August 30. So by then, you should have no problems with the task.
September will be particularly important in Pokémon GO:
WoW Classic has been playable since the night of August 26 to 27, and the rush on the servers is immense. Many players have to wait for hours before they can farm for hours. We will tell you how to shorten the waiting time.
If you don’t want to languish in eternal queues in front of and in the game, you can use some tips to find a faster way to Azeroth. However, this may require making some sacrifices or compromises.
Which servers are fine? If you want to play on German servers, Blizzard itself recommends switching to the new servers Razorfen (PvE) and Venoxis (PvP).
Why should I play on PvE servers? The current status shows that PvE servers apparently have a lower load than PvP realms. Some players have already reported in streams that they have over 10 hours of waiting time on Lucifron.
On PvE servers, the waiting time is significantly shorter, so far about between 30 minutes and two hours. If you don’t necessarily want to dive into open PvP, you should consider switching to a PvE server.
There is also a high demand on PvE servers, but it is significantly smaller.
What’s the difference? PvE and PvP servers differ only in that on PvP servers, the battle between Horde and Alliance is always active in the open world. Players can be attacked at any time. Otherwise, nothing changes.
Why should I avoid streamers? This may sound like harsh advice, but servers where streamers play are generally fuller because fans want to play with them. This is especially true for larger streamers, but also applies in WoW Classic.
Our advice is therefore: Avoid the realms where streamers set up their guilds. At least if you want to play Classic quickly and for the first few weeks, until the rush subsides.
On the other hand, servers with streamers generally also have a more active and larger population. It will just be difficult to play smoothly here for the first time.
Streamers like JohnnyCDerp play on Everlook. While this is good for the influx of players, it is bad for queues.
Which realms do German streamers play on? The largest German streaming projects of various streamers take place on Everlook (PvE) and Lucifron (PvP).
What are these realms? Blizzard has already opened nine additional realms at launch, five of which are for the EU area. However, all of them have English as the main language:
Flamelash (PvP)
Gandling (PvP)
Mograine (PvP)
Razorgore (PvP)
Nethergarde Keep (PvE)
Don’t be discouraged by the indication of how “full”, “medium” or “recommended” the servers are. Even a server with “medium” usage is nowadays fuller than a “full” one in 2006. So you will still find players here.
What’s the difference? The English servers have no difference. The game can even be played in German. Only the player base itself probably speaks English.
But some Germans have also announced that they will play on English servers. So you might be lucky to meet people who speak German there.
It is therefore a preventive measure so that in a few months, players do not wander around on dead servers and lose their desire, but so that all servers have a pleasant population.
To still guarantee players a smooth experience, Blizzard relies on “layering” in WoW Classic:
In Final Fantasy XIV, there is currently a special event active. It is the Festival of Rebirth, celebrated in honor of the anniversary of the MMORPG’s reboot, and this year it is particularly moving.
This is what the event is about: The Festival of Rebirth is an annual event in Final Fantasy XIV, where players and developers come together to celebrate the successful reboot of the MMORPG.
The first version of FFXIV was released in a catastrophic state and had to be completely overhauled. This was a massive amount of work for the developers, and they did not know if the game would eventually be successful.
Just before the 1.0 servers of FFXIV went offline, the developers held a showdown for the players
This is what happened at the festival this year: The Festival of Rebirth begins this year where the previous summer event left off. Players are to help clean up the beach after the party and find bottles with letters addressed to them.
These letters were clearly written by various developers and teams to the players. This includes messages from:
Community Team
User Interface Designer
Sound Designer and Composer Masayoshi Soken
Story Team and Lead Banri Oda
And several others. In them, the developers express their gratitude for the fans’ loyalty to the game through good times and especially difficult times after the reboot.
As every year, during the event, the NPC version of Director Naoki Yoshida appears before the players and thanks them
These letters are written in a role-playing manner, and the devs refer to themselves as “storytellers” or “humble landscape painters.”
This is what Irie thinks: As someone who experienced the unplayable 1.0 version, the reboot, and all the expansions, the Festival of Rebirth has always been associated with a lot of nostalgia for me. However, this year I particularly enjoyed it and tried to find all the bottles with letters, even though collecting trash is not a very exciting quest task.
For outsiders like me, it is always difficult to gauge how much fan feedback reaches the regular developers. Even though Yoshida is the head and face of Final Fantasy XIV, he certainly does not do all the work alone.
At the end of each Fan Festival, the team bids farewell to the visitors
I often think about the smaller devs from the individual teams who all contribute their part to the bigger picture. They get little spotlight and are always amazed or even burst into tears when, for example, hundreds of people cheer them during the Fan Festivals.
I found it very nice to read through this bottle message and get some insights from the individual developers and teams, learning that they see the fan art and read the stories that players create for FFXIV. It was very touching.
Where can you find the quest for the event and what do you get for it? If you have not done the event yet, you can quickly and easily catch up.
Quest Name: A Mysterious Letter for the Festival
NPC: P’oyano
Location: Eastern La Noscea X: 36.8 / Y: 26.2 (Teleport Sun Coast)
Requirements: Level 30 with any combat job
End of Event: September 17
As a reward for completing the quest, you will receive the companion Shardworld Y’shtola. Additionally, you can purchase the artworks from the patches of Stormblood for your house or apartment from the event NPC.
In Fortnite, you now find a new Rift Zone that brings you into the world of Borderlands 3. It also has a big impact on your gameplay.
What is Pandora? This is actually an area from Borderlands 3, a coop shooter that will be released in September. However, this location has been available on the map in Fortnite since the Patch 10.20. A new Rift Zone makes it possible.
Entering this Rift Zone located in the southeastern part of the Map transforms everything into the style of Borderlands. The complete graphics are different. In addition to graphical changes, this Rift Zone also brings other gameplay mechanics with it.
What’s in the Rift Zone Pandora?
What conditions prevail there? Inside the Rift Zone, you quickly receive new shields. Once you are not in combat for 4 seconds, your shield refills automatically. You don’t need any items for this.
What can you find from Borderlands? Within the Rift Zone, there are many details that are known from Borderlands. For example, there is Claptrap, the cute robot, who stands there.
Additionally, you can acquire new skins that are tied to Borderlands.
Are these changes game-changing? This new Rift Zone at least allows you to quickly refill your shield. However, it will not have a huge impact on the overall game.
After all, the zone is shrinking, and if it’s not directly within the Rift Zone, players quickly will not benefit from the special conditions.
What happens to the zone next? Leaks have already been found related to the crossover with Borderlands. Here you will dive deeper into the world of the crazy shooter.
Until September 10th, Pandora will be available in Fortnite. After that, the Rift Zone is expected to go away.
What do you think of Pandora? Is it a cool area or too crazy for you?
The 5th generation in Pokémon GO is coming, and the previous generations still have Shinies that have not been released. There are fewer than many thought.
This is what it’s about: Almost every event in Pokémon GO brings a new Shiny and dilutes the list of unreleased Shinies. Especially the first generations only have a few Pokémon left that do not exist as Shiny.
The majority of the Pokémon are actually monsters that have a peculiarity. Other Pokémon, on the other hand, seem long overdue, as they are everywhere but cannot appear in their shiny form.
All missing Shinies in Pokémon GO
What needs to be noted: Niantic has already announced some Shinies with the Ultra Bonus, which we will not show in our list anymore. They are not in the game yet, but will come in September.
In our lists, we will show their peculiarities for the corresponding Pokémon. There are many regional Pokémon that are still not available as Shiny or monsters that have special abilities.
Missing Shinies of Generation 1
How many Shinies are missing? Out of a total of 78 different families, only 25 Shiny families are missing.

What is noticeable here? Four families of water Pokémon are missing as Shiny from this generation. The release of these Shiny monsters could take a while, as a water event just occurred.
All legendary Pokémon from this generation have already been available as Shiny. Only Mew as a mysterious Pokémon is still missing.
Missing Shinies of Generation 2
How many Shinies are still missing? There are 68 families in the 2nd generation in total. 28 of them are still not Shiny. It should be noted here that many of these monsters already have pre-evolutions from the 1st generation that are also not Shiny.

Missing Shinies of Generation 3
How many Shinies are still missing? 31 Shiny families are still missing here. However, that’s less than half of the total 75 Pokémon families in the 3rd generation.

Moreover, it is still very mixed with the Pokémon. There are still some Shinies missing, which promises many exciting events.
Missing Shinies of Generation 4
How many Shinies are still missing? 48 of the 72 families still do not have Shiny versions. However, it should be mentioned that some Pokémon are still missing in general. Additionally, there are many Pokémon that have pre-evolutions in other generations.
87 different forms of Pokémon are still missing as Shiny in Gen 4.

What is noticeable here? Generation 4 still has the most missing Shinies. This is also logical, as some Pokémon from here only came into the game this past May.
Many legendary and mysterious Pokémon are still waiting for their release. It remains to be seen how Niantic intends to introduce the shiny versions of the many mysterious Pokémon.
Which Shiny are you waiting for? What is your highlight?
Blizzard explained the queues in World of Warcraft Classic. There are indeed good reasons.
How long are the queues in WoW Classic? Now, shortly after the game’s launch, there are indeed more than 10,000 players in a queue on the particularly heavily populated realms. Some report having to wait 12 hours before they can play.

Blizzard is not planning to open new servers for now
That’s why there are no more servers: You might wonder why Blizzard doesn’t just open more servers. Game Director Ion Hazzikostas has an answer for that. He explains that it wouldn’t be a problem to start significantly more servers. Blizzard has the technical and financial means to do so.
The problem is that the population will eventually stabilize in the coming weeks, and then there would be many realms with extremely few players. In that case, Blizzard would have to merge servers, which would upset the community.
Why isn’t the number of players per server increased? Ion Hazzikostas also has an answer to this. Increasing the number of players would cause performance problems.
Moreover, it would lead to gameplay issues if even more players were to dispute spawn points. He believes one only needs to imagine 2,000 players milling around in the Abbey of Northshire. That is not a particularly nice gaming situation.
Blizzard tries to pack as many players onto a server as is technically and gameplay-wise acceptable.

What technology are the developers using? The so-called layering technology is in use. When you log into a server, you are assigned to one of the layers. This layer contains a specific number of other players with whom you interact as long as you stay logged in.
If you log out of WoW Classic and later log back in, you may be assigned to a different layer and meet different players there.
Each layer also always contains the entire game world and not just individual regions. Furthermore, the population of a layer can basically be compared to that of a server in other MMORPGs. You can therefore meet many fellow players.
How does layering work for parties? You always play with the players on the layer you are grouped with. You can also switch layers by accepting a party invitation.
What advantage does this technology have? Blizzard can easily adjust the number of layers as the population on the servers stabilizes. This way, there are always enough fellow players without too many, and players don’t even notice that a change occurred. Layers are supposed to be turned off during maintenance and not during regular operation.
Queue times are not necessarily a bad thing
That’s why queues have a positive effect: Blizzard does not see the long queues of WoW Classic as a big problem. When a player sees such a queue, he might automatically switch to less populated servers. Thus, the problem essentially balances itself.
For this reason, there were warnings regarding wait times ahead of the launch of World of Warcraft Classic. Blizzard wanted players to think about which server they wanted to be on in the MMORPG from the beginning.
How do you feel about the wait time in WoW Classic? Do you have to wait long? Does it annoy you?
The Division 2 is currently plagued by a new issue that leads to blue screens and crashes. This mainly affects PS4 and Xbox One.
What is this problem? Currently, reports are accumulating from agents that The Division 2 is experiencing increased client crashes and blue screens.
Blue screen means that the game crashes and displays a message on a blue background indicating that an error has occurred with the application. An error code is displayed.
According to user reports, this error mainly occurs when opening the overview of the projects. A PS4 player writes that this has happened to them 4 times a day recently. They are afraid to check the projects.
This error has occurred occasionally in the past, but it now regularly haunts many agents.
Massive needs your help to fix the error quickly
This is what Massive says: The developers spoke up via Twitter this afternoon. They are receiving reports of client crashes and blue screens, especially on consoles. If you are also affected, you should report it in the Ubi-Forum and provide the displayed error code. This is how they want to quickly get to the bottom of the problem.
Several PS4 agents have already reported in the forum that the error occurs when opening the project overview or when opening the map during missions. It is said that if you set up a turret on the final boss in the Capitol Hill mission, the blue screen will also appear.
How is The Division 2 doing at the moment?
This is the status of The Division 2: Massive’s shared-world shooter is currently struggling significantly. After the expeditions, the major innovation of the last DLC, were deactivated, many agents are currently wondering what they should still do in Washington D.C. Many lack the motivation to log in regularly. New problems are not improving the situation.
Nowadays, there is also little news from Massive. They are currently on a summer break, which should be ending soon. Then the events around The Division 2 should pick up speed again. You can find out what’s coming up here:
By the way: The impressive title image comes from Redditor scotolsen, who wants to remind us of the beautiful sides of The Division 2 and shows why many agents love the world that Massive has created.

A fan unexpectedly found a new product on Amazon that apparently has to do with Overwatch . It is a bag for the Nintendo Switch styled after the popular hero shooter. Now he and other fans are hoping for a port.
What kind of bag is it? The new product is a protective bag for the Nintendo Switch with a black case, yellow embellishments, and the Overwatch logo both on the case itself and partially stitched in.
Twitter user Wario64 discovered it and directly shared pictures of the bag. You can see that a Nintendo Switch seems to fit perfectly into the bag. Wario64 mentioned that the product is “Officially licensed by Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment”.

Is the product real? According to Wario64, the bag comes from the provider PowerA. PowerA has previously sold official Nintendo accessories for the Switch, including for Zelda and Super Mario.
That at least suggests that it is a legitimate product. However, the offer was taken offline just a few hours later.
Is Overwatch coming to Nintendo Switch?
This is what fans are speculating: Under the Twitter post, fans are reacting with speculations about whether this means that Overwatch will actually receive a Switch port. User Nibellion brought this up a bit provocatively:
Nothing to see here, folks.
Just two companies working together to create a case for a handheld, inspired by a game that isn’t available on this handheld yet.
Some fans go even further and speculate whether a Switch version of Overwatch means that Overwatch characters might also appear in the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or in a subsequent installment.
This is what the developers say: The topic of Switch has been present for the developers of Overwatch for a while. Back in 2017, it was stated regarding Overwatch on the Switch that it is “quite challenging” to bring Overwatch to the Switch, but they are “always open [to] exploring new platforms.”
“Overwatch Dad” Jeff Kaplan loves Nintendo consoles like the 3DS. The Switch would be a possible new platform for Overwatch.
In August 2018, it was once again confirmed that a Switch port is “within the realm of possibility” (via cnet.com). However, specific information has been lacking so far.
At least it seems that Overwatch is moving forward at the moment – whether in the direction of Switch is still uncertain:
WoW Classic has launched and players are currently queuing. At the launch, Blizzard released a trailer that not only celebrates the release of Classic but also 15 years of World of Warcraft. And there is quite a lot to discover.
What kind of trailer is it? With the trailer “A Toast to 15 Years”, Blizzard kills two birds with one stone: the developers celebrate 15 years of World of Warcraft and the launch of WoW Classic.
What is there to see? The scene apparently takes place in World of Warcraft or in a WoW-based inn. A guest picks up a lute and starts a song.
His song is about how players met years ago in World of Warcraft. Back then, still weak and “nooby”, they became stronger together and were able to create their own legend.
In the song, the singer addresses some things that many players can surely relate to: he reports that his group took 40 hours for the raid boss Ragnaros and that the long time spent with their fellow players in WoW strengthened their bonds so much that they are now friends for life.
Matt Mercer, the voice of McCree from Overwatch and numerous other game and anime characters, is also seen in the clip
Which stars stand out to you? You should pay special attention to the other people in the tavern. Some familiar faces have sneaked in and can be seen from time to time.
In an early scene, for instance, the streamer Sodapoppin, who recently warned about the Classic hype appears. This is followed by Game of Thrones actor Kristian Nairn, who played the role of Hodor in the series. Also seen are the voice actor and D&D master Matt Mercer, whom many of you may know as McCree in Overwatch, the famous Leeroy Jenkins, as well as MMA and WWE star Ronda Rousey.
Ascent: Infinite Realm has now introduced its cutest feature for English players. These pets will accompany you on your journey.
What’s new in A:IR? The latest post in the official forums introduced the pets as the feature of the MMORPG. The post provides a background story about the companions.
The animal pets are not only small, cute creatures in the world of A:IR. They form a strong bond with their owner that can last a lifetime. The pets are your most loyal friends and will never betray or abandon you.
But there are also mechanical pets. They were developed in ancient times and were so advanced that they could assist their owners during battles. After several incidents where the automatons went out of control and attacked their masters, their combat capabilities were removed.
This is what the pets look like: Several images of the possible pets have also been posted. Here you can check out the animal and mechanical pets:
Are there also benefits from pets? It is not entirely clear whether and what gameplay benefits the pets bring. However, the post by the community manager Goodvibesguy in the official forums suggests that owning pets provides certain bonuses. It states in the post:
[…] Masters who own pets are more efficient in all types of activities, and that is why both Vulpin and Ontari continue to invest in the research of pets […]
What exactly lies behind this message, we will probably find out soon.
