Watch out for small stairs and two torches. The chest is located a bit higher and overlooks the valley.

The new update for Battlefield 5 not only brought new content and improvements to the game – a problem seems to have crept in with the new patch. This is how the developers are responding.
This update is about: On September 3, Battlefield 5 finally received update 4.4 after some delays. This included fresh content such as the two new maps “Provence” and “Lofoten Islands”. The progression system was also expanded, and there were various adjustments and improvements for different areas of the game.
Players report that sometimes fewer servers are displayed than usual. Servers that still show available spots cannot be accessed. Additionally, matchmaking does not seem to always work as it should. The pirate MMO Atlas aims to reposition itself for the future and has released a roadmap for upcoming changes. This will be implemented in several phases.

What’s the deal with the new class in Blade & Soul? I haven’t played Blade & Soul in a long time and should finally test the new Archer class at gamescom 2019.
It’s important to know that I never found archers particularly cool. Neither Legolas, Hawkeye, nor various bow weapons from games have ever convinced me. I simply find bows boring.
Much cooler, I think, are pistols, rifles, and guns. And all that is already available in Blade & Soul, namely in the Gunslinger class.
“Why should I play a new ranged class with a bow, when I can have a guy with guns?” I asked the developers during the class presentation at gamescom 2019.
What the new Archer class is about
What is the role of the Archer? First, a developer demonstrated the class to me. I saw an Asian-looking archer shooting training dummies with arrows. The Archer is primarily a damage dealer class. Their job is to shoot enemies from a distance with arrows and deal damage.
But the Archer can also enhance allies with buffs and is overall a very versatile class that has great strength not only in ranged combat. By this statement, the developers had piqued my curiosity. But how true are their statements?

This is how it plays: Fortunately, I could soon try the Archer myself. And indeed, the archer played very smoothly and intuitively.
This is intended, because unlike the Gunslinger, which is not easy to learn but plays quite simply later, the Archer is the exact opposite. You can easily get into the new class and start playing right away.
Thus, I could take down numerous enemies in an old temple city with a moderately equipped archer. The Archer’s bow is more like a kind of machine gun that fires arrows at extreme speed. However, you have to stand still to do this.
This is the uniqueness of the class: There is a combat stance that allows for more mobility but deactivates various buffs. You must therefore decide whether to run wild and shoot around or stay stationary and unleash a hail of arrows. Furthermore, although the archer doesn’t have much stamina, they have more invulnerability skills than any other class in the game.
Later in the game, positioning becomes important and you play the archer tactically and with precision. The class is really easy to learn but harder to master.
Jürgen’s conclusion: a really cool class for (returning) beginners
The Archer really surprised me. I expected a boring ranged class, not a highly mobile and yet tactically challenging hero that is fun right from the start.
In my opinion, this makes much more sense than the Gunslinger approach, which is quite complicated at the beginning and therefore frustrates new players and returnees unnecessarily. As cool as I thought the Gunslinger was back then, I found him much less fun in the game at the gamescom 2017, where I could also try him out.
Therefore, I can only recommend the new class, both for (returning) beginners in Blade & Soul looking for a fun class, and for experienced players who have high expectations of their class, especially in the endgame.
When does the Archer come out? The new class will be released along with the update “Storm of Arrows” on September 18. The update will be free as usual.
With the upcoming expansion Shadowkeep, Destiny 2 will undergo some changes. One of them is that the game will move from Blizzard’s Battle.net to Steam on PC, requiring Guardians to migrate their accounts. We will outline how the transfer works here for you.
Reason for the account transfer: With the release of the upcoming expansion Shadowkeep, Destiny 2 is moving from Blizzard’s Battle.net to Steam on PC. This is a logical step, as after Bungie parted ways with Activision Blizzard earlier this year, the companies have not much to do with each other anymore.
Now the game is set to move to Steam. However, PC players of Destiny 2 must migrate their accounts, meaning they must transfer their data to the new PC platform.
PC players who have played through Battle.net and must now transfer will receive a one-time, free account transfer to Steam. This will transfer all their data, expansions, silver, Annual Pass, and other paid content to Steam. They will not have to purchase their content, such as Forsaken, again for Steam.

How does the migration work? Log in on Bungie’s website with your existing Battle.net account. You can hardly miss the page where you connect your Battle.net and Steam accounts, as there is a red banner at the top of the Bungie website on every page informing about the switch to Steam.

Click on the corresponding red banner to go to the relevant page and start the migration process. If you click on “Get Started”, you must first agree to receive emails from Bungie.
In the next step, you will see the Battle.net account you logged in with and want to connect to Steam. Once you have accepted the terms of service, you can then link your Battle.net account and your Steam account.

Click on the Steam button to log in with your Steam account.
Your Battle.net content will now be transferred to Steam when Shadowkeep launches. This process cannot be undone.
This is what you should consider during the transfer: Just like with Cross-Save, you will also be guided through the process step by step during the Steam migration. Nevertheless, there are some details you should keep in mind during the transfer:
Battle.net players will receive a one-time account transfer of all their data to Steam. This includes the player account, Destiny 2, expansions, silver, Annual Pass, and other paid content. If you are already playing Destiny 2 on PC, you do not need to repurchase all the content you already own for Steam.
Players who want to switch from the consoles PS4 and Xbox One to PC must complete the migration. Activating Cross-Save for Battle.net without also linking the Steam account is not possible.
Console players who only want to switch to the other console and not to PC do not need to connect their account to Battle.net or Steam.
The online shooter Anthem is getting a new update on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Due to its massive size, it’s almost half the size of the game itself on PS4 and brings a ton of new features. We take a look at the patch notes in German.
When is the update coming? The update is currently live as of Wednesday, September 4th at 6:00 PM. You can start downloading the new update 1.4.0 on all platforms immediately. The patch marks the beginning of the fifth week of the major Cataclysm update.
How big is the update? According to some users on reddit , the update is 18.7 GB in size, making it almost half the size of the actual game on PS4.
On Xbox One, it is reported to have 12.5 GB. On PC, it weighs 16.44 GB.
Anthem: Patch Notes
for Update 1.4.0 from September 4
This new event comes to Cataclysm: Along with the update, the “Sea of Takaro” event appears in Anthem. This will be accessible through the arena in the “Dark Passage” and expands Cataclysm. The goal is to bring three echoes to the consoles to deactivate an emitter field.
The arena is filled with traps and puzzles such as pressure plates, a water tunnel, and enemies. The arenas are optional; however, before you tackle the final boss Vara, they may earn you a spot on the leaderboard.
What’s changing in the store: The store is also getting a small update: The War Chests are returning. Four new variants of the War Chests will be introduced, corresponding to the four available Javelins:

These may cost a bit more than the limited War Chests previously, but they can no longer contain items for a Javelin that you are not playing. They are now specific to the Javelin that the chest is intended for.
Furthermore, old War Chests for weapons, gear, and melee fighters are returning, along with additional seasonal items.
These improvements are coming: In addition to the event, the patch consists of a plethora of bug fixes and quality of life changes. The most important ones are listed here for you:
The chamber capacity will be increased to 350 items, while the scrap chamber is limited to 200.
When buying materials, you can now see how many units of each type are in stock.
Cinematics can be skipped if the entire team agrees.
Players should no longer appear below the terrain when using teleporters.
Additionally, there are many bug fixes for the HUD, user interface, Javelin abilities, and missions such as the “Temple of the Skar.” You can find the full patch notes on the official Anthem homepage.

satisfied with the update
This is what the players say: The reactions to the update have been quite positive so far. When the update info was published on reddit, players were pleased that the developers listened to the community and are working on the issues.
Even the War Chests are well-received, as previous versions had caused frustration. Many players complained that they received nothing for the Javelins they were playing. This is no longer the case with the new chests.
The reactions to the Cataclysm trailer were mostly positive, albeit mixed:
In Destiny 2, guardians are currently raving about how high the drop chance of weapons in the Reckoning is. Are you checking out the PvE activity again?
On one hand, it was extremely difficult, causing solo players to have a hard time through the matchmaking and leaving the match frustrated. Only well-coordinated fireteams could handle the Reckoning.
On the other hand, many guardians thought, “I won’t suffer through this for such meager loot!” Because the activity-specific rewards were extremely rare, you had to grind a long time in the Reckoning to complete your collection.
This ultimately led to most guardians avoiding the Reckoning. Those who initiated matchmaking in the Reckoning in recent weeks waited for minutes only to end up having to start solo – and that’s not advisable.
Why is the Reckoning worth it now? Yesterday, on September 3rd, Bungie released the Update 2.5.2.2, which made the Reckoning in Destiny 2 significantly easier – and more rewarding:
The enemies in the Reckoning deal less damage and have less health themselves.
The weapon drop rates in the Reckoning have been increased, significantly at Tier 3. Additionally, the bad luck protection has been enhanced – meaning if you finish several matches without rewards, the chance increases that you will receive one after the next match.

This is what the guardians are saying about the changes: A post from a guardian on reddit is causing a stir, as he describes the new chance for weapon drops as “crazy.” It seems that weapons are now raining down in the Reckoning.
He reports that he received a whopping 5 weapons after 6 matches at Reckoning Tier 3. His teammates did as well.
No one he played with went 2 games in a row without a weapon drop.
A short time later, he updated the post. After 10 matches, he had already received 8 drops.
And then there was another update. He had played 7 runs at Tier 2 and received 5 weapons. The drop chances at Tier 3 and Tier 2 are “crazy.”
He summarizes: “Is it worth grinding for weapons at Tier 3? Absolutely!”

In the comments, people agree with him, stating they have had similar experiences since the update. One user hopes now that these drop rates aren’t too good for Bungie and that they won’t limit them soon.

According to user reports, the Reckoning is currently even more generous than communicated by dmg04.

The Reckoning is now worth more than ever if you want to complete your collections. Are you checking it out again? Do you already have all the weapons or is nothing enticing you in the PvE mode?
In Fortnite, the Borderlands crossover event is currently taking place. The event with the Pandora Challenges runs until September 10, 2019. There are also challenges that you can complete. One of the challenges is: Find the Vault Symbols.
What are Vault Symbols? They are symbols that have been painted like graffiti on various walls. The symbols are painted in dark red and are easily visible. You can find them in the Rift Zone Pandora. They are usually found on containers, walls, and signs.
What do you need to do? To complete the Pandora challenge, you need to collect 3 Vault Symbols. When you stand in front of the symbols, the word “Search” appears, and you have to click on it. You will need to do this a total of 3 times, and then you should have completed the challenge.

How did the world record progress? As Dotesports reports, TF Blade was third in Turkey when he was banned. That was the 4th region where he attempted to set the world record; now he has switched to Europe Nordic and Europe East.

On September 6, it’s finally time, Monster Hunter World is getting its first addon – Iceborne. The release is initially only for PS4 and Xbox One, the PC release will follow later. This expansion brings several new features to the popular fighting game.
We tested thefull version before release: I had the pleasure of trying the full version of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. As a fan of the Monster Hunter series, I was particularly taken by Monster Hunter World. However, there were always a few little things in the base game that bothered me.
These 3 big questions I asked myself:
What new features does Monster Hunter World Iceborne bring us?
How are these things different from the base game?
Why are these new features so much fun?
In the end, I came up with the following five new features that make the game perfect for me.
An uncomfortable encounter – Brachydios
1. Some pointless clicks are spared
You have the settings for the pie menu in the item pouch. In Monster Hunter World Iceborne, you can customize the pie menu in your item box. Here you can save your sets in the item pouch and make the necessary adjustments simultaneously.
Finally adjust the pie menu at the item box.
The game remembers this with your item set and you have it ready whenever you equip it. If you don’t want to change your pie menu even though you’re selecting a new item set, you can decline that as well.
You can modify your gun at the item box. There is now a new tab at the item box. Here you can conveniently modify your bow gun without having to run to the blacksmith. As a passionate ranged fighter, this was especially pleasing for me. However, I forgive you if you prefer other weapons.
You no longer have to sift through investigations. Iceborne also brings a new feature to the display of investigations. You will now see at a glance what rewards await you at the resource center. You’ll see the monster’s name and next to it how many bronze, silver, or gold rewards there are.
The new view of your investigations
You can also save the deco armor with your armor sets. At “Change Equipment”, you can also save your armor sets in Iceborne as usual. From now on, you can also preserve your outfit. If you do not want to use the saved deco armor during your next armor change, you can decline that, too.
You can now access messages via R3. All of you who were annoyed by the exclamation point during combat can now breathe a sigh of relief. With a quick click on R3, you can now receive the guild cards from others.
2. There are crazy new decorations
In Monster Hunter World, you can upgrade your equipment with decorations. These jewels fit into different slots of your armor depending on their size and grant you additional skills. So they essentially make your equipment stronger.
With Monster Hunter World: Iceborne comes new decorations. From now on, there are level-4 decorations. These fit into level-4 slots, which only exist on master rank armors. The new decorations have two special features. Either such a jewel contains two levels of the respective skill or the decoration gives you two different skills, each at one level. The combinations of the two different skills seem to be random.

In general, the armors at level 9 or 10 no longer have space for decorations. Master rank armors, like high rank armors, are divided into α and β and additionally marked with a “+”. It is common for α to have more skills and β to have more slots for decorations.
Often the β+-armor has only space for one level-4 jewel and no further options for adding decorations. However, this could change with later armors – it was the same in the base game.
Now you also have slots on your mantles and boosters. In Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, you can upgrade your tools through quests. This way, they also get a ” +” and slots for jewels. The skills inserted there only become active when you’re using the mantle or booster.
3. Seliana, the capital, is more practical than before
The gathering place is finally worthwhile. The gathering place in Seliana is extremely cozy. Here you will find not only hot springs but also everything you need between your quests. Even the Argosy and the Botanical Research!

You can change your Palico’s equipment directly in the area. You no longer have to dash into your private room or the tent at the beginning of the quest to change your Palico equipment. This can now be done conveniently at the new headquarters near the chest.
You can personalize your private space in Seliana. Your new private quarters now offer, in addition to the usual pets, further customization options. You can adjust your floors and walls. Also, change the interior and paintings. Your housekeeper will also give you deliveries to unlock even more items.
4. The quests are generally improved
No more long tracking. In Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, it is much easier to collect the tracks for your main quest. You no longer have to wander around for hours if you don’t know the spots for the tracks. This makes the story much more pleasant and less frustrating.
Quickly go from A to B by riding. Iceborne also brings a new means of transportation – riding. You can now summon Shamos or Jagras that will take you to your chosen point automatically and faster than walking. Convenient, right?

You can now see objects on the ground better. When you deal damage to a monster, it drops materials from which you craft your equipment. This material and the gathering spots are now more visible.
5. There are cool changes for battles
More damage from explosions. The damage of explosive coatings or weapons has increased to 300 damage points per hit. So it’s really worth diving into this with Iceborne.
The training area has a new design to choose from. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne offers a second option to use your training area. For this, simply select it with your housekeeper, and you can fight against a dummy of a large monster.

This is especially practical for the new clutch claw. With this tool, you can pull yourself towards your opponent. It requires a little practice but is worth it. With these attacks, you can deal a lot of damage, but you need ammo for the big attacks.

What I didn’t like in the base game
To understand why I find the new features so great, I’ll explain again how it is in the base game.
The menu is more cumbersome. In Monster Hunter World, you have to adjust your pie menu via the options button. If you forget to save your item set with the new pie menu, you lose your settings the next time you switch sets.
Moreover, the saving options for the armor sets are more limited than in Iceborne. For example, deco armors are not considered here. And when ranged fighters want to modify their bow gun, they always have to trot over to the blacksmith.
The investigations are less clearly organized. To find out what bronze, silver, or gold rewards there are, you have to click through each quest individually.
Colorful hustle and bustle in the new private room
The jewels only go up to level 3 and mantles and boosters have no slots. In the base game, your largest jewel slot is level 3 and only has one skill. Furthermore, you cannot upgrade the mantles and boosters you have collected. The slots for the “+” versions are therefore not available to you.
The Astera headquarters is laid out differently. The gathering place in Monster Hunter World is mainly used for siege missions. Staying there otherwise is rather awkward, as you have to go back to the trade post or your quarters for every small action.
Questing is sometimes inconvenient. When you knock loose material from monsters in Monster Hunter World, you sometimes have to search for a long time. This also applies to the tracks you need to continue your main quest.
Why are these new features so much fun?
In summary:
They save time.
The new features offer comfort.
They look great.
Although they may seem like small things, I am excited about the many new features. I simply feel comfortable in Seliana, the Hoarfrost Reach, and also in the “old” new world, which is, of course, still present in Iceborne.
Everything is finally where you need it. The new menu options save you many clicks and thus time. You no longer have to click from menu to menu or run across the city.
It’s also simply convenient not to have to change the deco armor all the time, having everything in one place, and not spending so much time with loading screens.
