Iceborne is the first expansion of Monster Hunter World for PS4 and Xbox One. With the update 10.12, some issues with the addon are fixed. This also includes a bug that affects your loot.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne launched some time ago. Although it is an expansion, it is treated like a new release.
Therefore, update 10.12 also comes with a bug fix patch that resolves some minor issues with Iceborne. Among other things, a bug that affects the loot of the Acidic Glavenus.
What was going on with the Acidic Glavenus?
Some players reported difficulties when hunting the Acidic Glavenus. A monster that holds some of the strongest weapons in Iceborne. They severed its tail and received a rare item. However, it was displayed as “not available” even though it was in the inventory.
This caused some players to be upset:
After 35 minutes fighting Acidic Glavenus and cutting off its tail, I was rewarded with “not available”
u/Decoraan on Reddit
Most, however, were forgiving towards Capcom. Many even made jokes about the bug:
The Glavenus was married
KatoyToy503 on Reddit
This was mainly due to Capcom’s quick response. On Twitter, they highlighted the issue and announced a quick bug fix.
What other issues were fixed with 10.12?
We have compiled some bug fixes from patch 10.12 for you:
Now there is a new way to earn rewards in PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) . The Survival Mastery complements the Weapon Mastery. We will show you what is new.
What is the Survival Mastery? The new update 4.3, which will soon come to the PUBG test servers, introduces a new progression system. The Weapon Mastery system already allows you to level up weapons by dealing damage and getting kills. New is the Survival Mastery.
The new Survival Mastery focuses on different aspects of the game. Here, you should show that you can survive. And for that, you will be rewarded.
Survival Mastery in PUBG – How does it work?
How many levels are there? In Survival Mastery, you can level up. Initially, the PUBG team decided to set the limit at level 500.
How do you level up? You earn experience points by how you survive phases with blue zones, perform important actions, or simply survive.
EXP is earned for: Looting, using items during fights, combat, reviving teammates.
What rewards are there? For leveling up, you will receive customizations for your PUBG ID.
Every tenth level rewards you with emblems – Level 5, Level 15, Level 25, and so on.
Every tenth level rewards you with backgrounds – Level 10, Level 20, Level 30, and so on.
Every hundredth level rewards you with poses – Level 100, Level 200, Level 300, and so on.
For levels where you do not unlock rewards for the PUBG ID, you will receive BP.
Where can you see your progress? In the Survival tab of the mastery system, you can view your achievements so far.
This serves to see which play style you prefer. It lists
Combat actions
Combat distance
Looted items
Distance traveled
Drops in hot zones
Damage taken per game
The three most notable features will then be displayed.
What is the PUBG ID? After a match, you can view the PUBG IDs of your teammates or the opponents you killed. There, weapon stats, average damage, or average survival time will be displayed.
Rewards that you unlock in the Survival Mastery can customize your PUBG ID. These can be emblems or poses that make the pass special.
New Survival Timeline – Last Match will be adjusted
What will be changed? The display for “Last Match” will be slightly adjusted in the mastery screen. You can expect a few new tabs that make it easier to track progress. In the summary, you will see info about your progress and performance.
The new Survival Timeline shows you in detail when things happened in a match. Were you shot at? Did you find weapons or heal yourself? You can see exactly when that happened.
In the summary of “Combat Action,” you will see details from a period when you fought continuously with opponents. At the end, you will see the damage dealt and taken.
Currently, the test servers (PTS) for the upcoming major Title Update 6 of The Division 2 are running on PC. Preparations are in full swing, and Massive has already released preliminary patch notes. In addition to balance adjustments, new talents and quality-of-life changes are coming to the game.
There are significant changes coming to The Division 2. The next update has been announced for October, and it is currently being played on the test server. The extensive preliminary patch notes provide a taste of the massive changes.
The developers emphasized in the latest State of the Game that these changes are not set in stone and can still change before release. It is expected that the big Title Update 6 will be released a few weeks after the end of the PTS phase (October 1st).
Massive wants more strong builds: The well-known nerfs, such as for the Eagle Bearer, have already faced a lot of criticism from the community. However, the developers want to increase the variety of effective builds in the future. To that end, Massive is tweaking several talents and has even introduced a few new talents.
These are the new talents
Spark – Skill Talent for Backpacks
Dealing damage to enemies with skills or grenades increases weapon damage by +15% for 15 seconds
Vigilance – Damage Talent for Vests
Increases weapon damage by +25% – Incoming damage disables the buff for 5 seconds.
Concussion – Headshot Talent for Masks
Headshots increase headshot damage by +20% for 2 seconds, with sniper rifles for 5 seconds.
In particular, “Spark” and “Vigilance” make a strong impression. Although the values may change before release, these two talents will surely be tried out by some agents.
These talents could become interesting now
Some talents are set to be significantly buffed, and some will receive entirely new functionalities. The developers are massively changing the talent loadout. We have compiled a selection of the most interesting changes for you:
Buffs
Critical – Passive Armor Talent
Gloves, Holster
+15% (previously 5) damage from critical hits
Surgical – Passive Armor Talent
Gloves, Holster
+10% (previously 5) chance for critical hits
Gunslinger – Active Armor Talent
Holster
Switching to a handgun within 10 seconds (previously 3) after a kill fills the magazine of the handgun and gives +30% damage (previously 20%) for the entire magazine.
Basket – Active Weapon Talent
All Weapons
Body shots increase damage with each hit by 50% (previously 5) for the next headshot for 10 seconds. The maximum stack size is 3 (previously 10).
Boomerang – Active Weapon Talent
Rifles
Critical hits have a 50% (previously 20) chance for the bullet to return to the magazine. If this happens, the next shot deals 50% (previously 20%) more damage.
Killer – Active Weapon Talent
All Weapons
Killing an enemy with a critical hit increases the damage for critical hits for 15 seconds (previously 5) by 50% (previously 30).
Marksman – Active Weapon Talent
Rifles
Headshots provide a stackable bonus of 10% to weapon damage for 5 seconds. The maximum stack size is 5. Additional headshots reset the duration. The buff is no longer disabled by body shots or misses.
New Functionality
Devious – Active Armor Talent
Gloves
Whenever a status effect is applied to an enemy, weapon damage increases by 15% for 20 seconds.
Opportunistic – Active Armor Talent
Gloves
Dealing damage to an enemy increases damage from all sources to that enemy by 10% for 3 seconds.
Trauma – Active Armor Talent
Mask
PvE: Every 30 seconds, an enemy hit by a headshot is blinded for 5 seconds
PvP: Every 40 seconds, an enemy hit by a headshot is blinded for 2 seconds
Naked – Active Weapon Talent
Sniper Rifles (min. 8x zoom)
Whenever your armor is destroyed, damage increases by 50% for 20 seconds.
Executioner
Handgun
Switching to another weapon 10 seconds (previously 3) after killing an enemy with this weapon increases critical hit chance and critical hit damage by 30%.
By the start of Title Update 6, much can still change. Here, however, are already a few potentially strong talents included. For example, the change of the “Naked” talent is worth a look. Builds using “Berserker” could benefit greatly with the right playstyle.
After the adjustments of the two passive talents “Critical” and “Surgical”, these will be a good support in building a crit build. Along with the strengthening of the weapon talent “Killer” and the weakening of the armor talent “Compensated”, critical hits will likely play a larger role again.
What is happening with the skills? Here, too, the developers have closely examined which skills are used how and in which combinations. The interaction between “Cluster Mine” and “Firefly” was particularly noteworthy.
A build combination of the exotic BT Data Gloves, the “Blender Firefly”, and the “Cluster Mine” can control large enemy groups for a long time. This makes it easy for agents to deal a lot of damage with minimal risk.
The skills continue to work well together, but cooldowns will be increased to reduce the potency of this powerful crowd-control combo. However, players in larger groups will certainly not be stopped from taking down entire mobs without incoming damage.
Cluster Mine – Cluster
Increased cooldown from 40 seconds to 60 seconds.
Increased damage by +30%
Capacity reduced from 4 to 3
Cluster Mine – Explosive
Increased damage by +20%
Firefly – Blender
Increased cooldown from 60 seconds to 90 seconds.
Another change for the Fireflies – the skill can now be activated without a previously set target and seeks potential attack points by itself.
There is also an upgrade for turrets and drones. The “Assault Turret”, “Sniper Turret”, and “Striker Drone” will benefit from “damage against elite enemies” bonuses after the update.
And there is even more
In addition to the already presented changes in PvP or the storage capacity, The Division 2 also brings some new comfort features, improvements, and balance adjustments that, while not spectacular, will enhance the game in their own way.
Adjustment of the difficulty levels “Hard”, “Challenging”, and “Heroic”
Overhaul of the “Black Tusk” dogs and mini-tanks
Overhaul of enemy behavior when entering combat with players
Heavy units are being reworked
less health, but crowd control less effective
Player turrets are attacked more often
Inventory options
Mods can be better sorted
Items can be marked with “Donate” or “Recalibrate”
12 additional loadout slots
Checkpoint officers now heal all downed players, not just the last downed one
In addition to the announced changes to crafting and the more targeted loot system, several new features are coming with the next Title Update 6. After the PTS phase is over, it will be exciting to see what new features will ultimately make it into the game.
Which talent will likely be the next OP talent? Or do you think builds will hardly change after these patches?
In Fortnite , a crisis on the Twitch platform seems to be emerging. The viewer numbers have clearly dropped. For about 3 months now, the situation has been troubling. Fortnite coped fairly well with the departure of Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, but since Turner “Tfue” Tenney is currently on break, the numbers are low. However, the problems seem to run deeper: the hype appears to be wearing off, and the major World Cup did not help.
What numbers are we talking about? We are referring to the “average viewer numbers” for the Fortnite category on Twitch. This includes all channels that have tagged their stream with Fortnite.
The site Sullygnome provides accurate information on how the viewer numbers have developed over time.
The big hype began in March 2018 with the stream of Ninja and Drake.
How long did the hype around Fortnite last exactly?
The viewer numbers for Fortnite have developed as follows since 2018:
The general hype around Fortnite began in the spring of 2018. From January to March, the viewer numbers rose sharply. From an average of 50,000 viewers to about 180,000 – the peak at that time was the stream of Ninja with Drake, which many people watched.
This average of 180,000 viewers was maintained by Fortnite, with some fluctuations, until September. The period from March to September 2018 is retrospectively considered the “very hot phase” of Fortnite. The game became mainstream during this time.
After that, the average numbers settled at about 150,000. This phase lasted from September 2018 to June 2019. During this time, it felt as if Fortnite would “never go away.”
His departure hardly affected the numbers on Twitch.
World Cup is the highlight – but before that a lull and after that as well
From June 2019, the air on Twitch noticeably diminished. The numbers fell to about 100,000 viewers on average.
In August 2019, Twitch streamer Ninja quit and switched platforms to Mixer. However, this hardly affected the viewer numbers on Twitch; Fortnite was already somewhat out of fashion and remained at the lower level that it had been at since June 2019.
A further drop came now with the break of Turner “Tfue” Tenney. He announced on Friday, September 13th, that he would no longer stream.
In the last 7 days, the viewer numbers have collapsed to an average of 82,000.
His absence from streaming is likely costing Twitch some viewers: Tfue.
The Twitch viewer numbers for Fortnite at a glance:
Fortnite in 2018: 155,046 viewers
Fortnite in the last 365 days: 139,141 viewers
In the last 90 days: 115,040 viewers
In the last 30 days: 96,128 viewers
In the last 7 days: 82,679 viewers
In the last 3 days: 68,273 viewers
The trend has been downward since February 2019, especially in the last months. Source: Sullygnome.
eSports change Twitch numbers
This is noticeable: There has been a significant change in viewer behavior since April 2019.
Until then, the viewer numbers were fairly evenly distributed throughout the week. Since April, there have been noticeable peaks on Saturdays and Sundays – otherwise, the viewer numbers are low.
This is likely related to the fact that qualification tournaments for the World Cup were held on Saturdays and Sundays.
The top streamers were also gearing up for these days and focused on them. As a result, interest in “regular” Fortnite was probably not as high on other days.
World Cup winner Bugha.
The interesting thing is that Fortnite still declined on Twitch in June 2019, despite the big World Cup.
The event itself, the Fortnite World Cup, did achieve high viewer numbers, but there was a lull before and directly after it. Fortnite was unable to capitalize on the World Cup in the long term.
Even before the World Cup, the air was noticeably gone
What’s behind this: One can see in the Twitch numbers that Ninja’s departure had hardly any impact.
When Ninja left, he was hardly present on Twitch anymore, and Fortnite was already in decline. Even before the Fortnite World Cup, it was clear that the air was gone – and the World Cup did not provide any significant boost.
The top stars are certainly missing, rather Tfue than Ninja
And the eSports of Fortnite does not seem to have really helped the viewer numbers on Twitch in the long term – without the World Cup, the kick after a big highlight is seemingly lacking now
In WoW Classic you can escape from overcrowded servers – for free. Character transfers are available again for some realms.
Even about 3 weeks after the launch of World of Warcraft Classic the hype is still ongoing. Although the queues of several hours have disappeared, you often still have to wait a few minutes on the most popular servers, especially during “Prime Time” in the evening. To reduce this, Blizzard is once again offering transfers for the servers.
From which realms can transfers be made? In the European area, there are several server transfers available. For German-speaking realms, the following free transfers are possible:
You can find the complete list of all European transfer options in the official WoW forum.
How long do you have? The character transfers will be available from Friday, September 20 at 1:00 AM. Blizzard has announced that the transfers will be available at least until Monday, September 23. However, they point out that transfers to certain servers may be halted immediately when the target server is marked as “full”.
So if you want to join your desired realm, you should hurry and initiate the transfer as early as possible. It’s also best to coordinate with your friends so that no one gets left behind.
Spaniards have it particularly good: Especially the Spanish community can rejoice, as they now have their own servers. Therefore, you can also transfer from all European PvP servers to the Spanish server.
The Spaniards previously had no own realms and can now switch from the entire European realms to “their own” realm.
Will you transfer your character? Or have you settled in so well with your server community that you will stay?
In Destiny 2, a Guardian has pulled off a fantastic melee attack that makes many Titans proud. Moreover, his reaction to it is being celebrated.
What happened? Currently, on Reddit, the Guardian Armatarium proudly presents his achievement he accomplished in PvP of Destiny 2. He has already gathered over 1200 upvotes, so his action is well received by a lot of players.
He himself writes that the community should take a moment of silence for the opposing team. He shared this video:

You can see in the video: The Guardian is about to start a Iron Banner Control match in the Crucible. He immediately announces at the beginning that he will either get at least 5 kills at once – or die trying.
He sprints directly to the control zone that the opponents are capturing at the start.
He comes out from behind the wall, unleashes the melee attack of the Rocket Titan, and apparently surprises the entire opposing team. All 6 opponents are crouching in the control zone – and are obliterated in a single strike.
The Titan achieved 6 kills within the first 15 seconds of a PvP match with just one strike.
What kind of melee attack is this? It is the Ballistic Slam from the Arc Titan, which has the Rocket code activated. To perform it, one must jump into the air after sprinting and press the melee button to slam into the ground and deal damage to nearby enemies.
Guardians celebrate the reaction
This is what other Guardians write about it: “Epic”, “awesome” and “marvelous” are the adjectives thrown around in the comments. Such actions would make Titans proud, inciting “manly tears” in Titan’s eyes.
Especially the reaction of the Guardian and his team is celebrated:
While in midair, the Guardian takes a deep breath, as he sees that there are about to be 6 opponents, and he suspects that something special will happen soon.
This is also mentioned in the comments, that this deep breath makes the video so special. Armatarium responded, stating that his heart skipped a beat. He had been waiting for such a perfect slam for a long time.
Immediately after the 6 kills, the Guardian starts screaming. His teammates realize what has happened and join in the celebration.
“The reaction is the reason why this video is so cool,” writes one.
“Your bros were just as hyped, which makes this epic play even better,” says another.
What does Lord Saladin think about this action?
It is also pointed out that this action was only possible because the opposing team apparently had a poor chief strategist. In most cases, it is not a good idea for 6 Guardians to be sitting in the same control zone.
And a user comments: “Epic … but is it okay if I complain that he didn’t capture the zone afterwards?”
What do you think of the video? Have you ever accomplished something like this?

After Warframe struggled with poor reviews on Steam for some time, the developers and Steam themselves have now intervened. The situation has been investigated in more detail, and there are responses from both parties regarding the incident.
What happened? A few days ago, the ratings for Warframe on Steam suddenly plummeted. The reason for this was a review bombing by the Chinese Warframe community, who wanted to express their frustration with negative ratings.
Their anger stemmed from a popular volunteer translator who had worked with Digital Extremes, the developers of Warframe. “The Translator,” as he calls himself, helped with better translations into simplified Chinese but was fired for violating a confidentiality agreement.
The review bombing hit Warframe hard, as it had recently shone with good reviews and even the best possible rating.
The response to the review bombing
How the developers are responding: In response to the controversy, the developers posted a response in the official Warframe forums. In this, they explain that the decision of a termination never happens thoughtlessly:
We do not remove people lightly from the volunteer program, and such terminations are made after careful consideration.
The volunteers are provided with guidelines and a consent form, which makes it possible to share protected data with them. However, there are times when these guidelines may be violated, requiring a reminder for the Tenno.
However, if there are multiple violations, it may be necessary to part ways with them. Warframe does not want to disclose the exact reasons out of consideration, but assures that the decisions were made with utmost thought and review.
The termination letter
The Chinese localization is not to suffer from this. The workforce for the Chinese branch has doubled this year, and they want to listen better to the community’s concerns, while the localization is improved and polished.
How Steam is responding: Steam has already ensured that negative reviews are marked as “off-topic” if they were written as part of the review bombing.
On the Steam page for Warframe, there is now a filter “exclude off-topic reviews” in the reviews section. An asterisk next to the ratings marks them in this context.
The recent ratings for Warframe have already risen back to 82% “very positive” since then (as of September 19 at 11:20 AM). Warframe can now also count itself among the most popular MMOs on Steam according to ratings:
Runescape is currently under scrutiny again due to microtransactions, after the community found out that a player has spent more than 50,000 euros in the game.
Why is the Runescape community upset? A report from the English Parliament regarding addictive technologies mentioned the successful and popular MMORPG Runescape. According to this report, the developer studio Jagex takes in about a third of its revenue from microtransactions. It is said that players can spend up to 5,000 dollars a week on the game. However, only about 10 percent of players actually spend money on microtransactions.
The report also cites an example: A player’s father is said to have accumulated immense debts due to Runescape, having spent 62,000 dollars (around 56,000 euros) in the game.
This led to fierce discussions about microtransactions within the Runescape community.
Microtransactions are a red flag
That’s why it’s a long-standing issue: In 2012, the “Squeal of Fortune” update introduced a fortune wheel through which players could win items – of course, for money. Even back then, there was heavy criticism.
Jagex then introduced the “Treasure Hunter” mechanic. Players find treasure chests with items in them and can either buy or earn the keys for these chests. In addition, there are other paid features, such as the ability to view gameplay statistics.
What do the players think about it? There is tension once again. After it became known how much money a player has spent and that they even fell into debt because of it, the majority of Runescape players currently feel that Jagex is exploiting players.
Content updates are rare, and the treasure hunts are being brought to the forefront. Players are slowly getting the impression that they are only valued for how much money they can spend. The developers seem to only focus on the 10 percent of the player base that spends money, the so-called “whales”. Players who are deeply entrenched in the game and also very wealthy.
However, there are also some players who see no problem with this. No one is forced to spend money in Runescape. And the revenue ultimately helps to keep the MMORPG running and developing further.
The Runescape community is now demanding that Jagex focus more on the game and new content and scale back the promotion for microtransactions. The call for more content seems curious, since players prevented this in Old School Runescape. However, Old School players, unlike the fans of the “regular” version, simply do not want any changes.
In Fortnite, the Group Center has now been introduced. This allows you to communicate better with your friends and team up.
What exactly is the Group Center? Since Patch 10.31, you can use the Group Center. This feature only works on mobile devices, but you can then use it for all platforms. It is essentially a gathering point for you and your friends to communicate better.
The features are somewhat more complex, but in the end, you can use the Group Center as a voice chat for the game.
These Benefits the Group Center Brings
How to start the Group Center: You need to have Fortnite installed on your smartphone. If you have the latest version, you can also start the Group Center.
What exactly does the Group Center offer? The Group Center shows you which of your friends are online. You can team up with these friends and play together. A voice chat helps you communicate.
So far, you can only talk to each other. You cannot send messages.
How to play on other platforms: Even though you can only access the Group Center via mobile devices, you can still play on your console or PC.
You just need to open the game on your platform, and your phone will connect directly to your other device. You can then play on any platform.
If you still want to talk to your friends on your smartphone, you can do that too. Alternatively, you can talk to the respective players using your headset.
How to invite friends: In the Group Center, you can form the group you want to play with. You need to look out for the Alarm Bell at the respective player. When you ring this bell, you invite the player. They can then join your group, and you can start the game.
Not only is the Group Center new. Batman is also likely coming to Fortnite:
Not every talent in Borderlands 3 is useful. One very specific talent sounds good in theory, but repeatedly kills your teammates.
In Borderlands 3, players can unlock further skills and perks after completing the campaign through Guardian Ranks – in addition to talent points. This is essentially an evolution of the “Badass Rank” system from the predecessor. However, one perk here leads to more negative experiences than it provides actual help, as you end up killing yourself and some teammates constantly.
What is the problem? Explosions in Borderlands 3 are often considered “neutral” damage. This means that not only enemies like psychos or skags are affected by the explosions, but also your own character or allies you are playing with in co-op. With player-triggered explosions, it is (usually) the case that only the triggering player can harm themselves.
This does not apply to the Guardian Rank ability “Hollow Point”, the final talent of the Enforcer skill tree (the sword symbol).
What does Hollow Point do? The Guardian Rank talent Hollow Point causes enemies killed by critical hits to explode and frequently take down other enemies as well. However, unfortunately, this explosion damage also harms your own character and allied teammates.
This often results in you blasting your own teammates and then having to rush over to pick them up. Depending on the character and talent choice, enemies almost always die from critical hits anyways, leading to more explosions than at a New Year’s fireworks display in Berlin.
Will this be fixed? It is still unclear whether this talent will be fixed or if it is intended for these explosions to also cause “Friendly Fire”. Currently, it is advisable to avoid Hollow Point unless you really enjoy constantly picking your allies up off the ground.
Have you unlocked this “talent” too and are tormenting your teammates with it? Or is a teammate bothering you with it so far?
Valve is now taking strong action against toxic players of the MOBA DotA 2. Players report that they have been banned for 19 years. However, this ban period has something special about it.
Who has been banned? A whole number of players have been banned. Complaints from DotA 2 players have been piling up on Reddit and Steam, as they have received a curious message. They are banned until January 19, 2038.
Additionally, those who violated the Steam user agreement, such as buying or selling Steam accounts, and players who exploited cheats and exploits were also caught.
Why was a 19-year ban imposed? The duration of the ban seems quite peculiar. Those who have been affected are all banned until January 19, 2038. But why?
What is the “Year 2038 Problem”? IT systems that use Unix time will encounter a problem on January 19, 2038. Unix time counts the seconds that have elapsed since January 1, 1970, in a 32-bit system. The maximum value is 2,147,483,647, which is 2 raised to the power of 31 -1, and this is reached on January 19, 2038, at 03:14:07 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
This means the 32-bit system reaches its limit. This could lead to software failures worldwide. Apparently, Valve uses this Unix time for its own servers, which is why the ban expiration date falls on January 19, 2038.
They are actually just regular, permanent bans
What does this mean exactly? Essentially, the players are not banned for 19 years, but permanently, just like many other online games do with extremely toxic players or those who violate the user agreements. This is basically not unusual. Only the displayed 19 years seem a bit strange.
How are the players reacting? No one is likely happy about bans. Accordingly, the affected players are venting their frustrations on Steam and Reddit. They are cursing Valve, and many do not understand what they did to deserve such a punishment. Valve then refers them to customer support. Those who have been banned and believe this is unjust can feel free to contact customer service.
Regarding the ban duration, more and more realize that it is not actually 19 years but a permanent ban that is marked as 19 years due to an IT issue.
Today the challenges of Week 8 in Season X of Fortnite – Storm Racers begin. You will participate in races, sometimes under time pressure. We will show you how to do it.
What is it about? In Fortnite: Battle Royale, new challenges start today, September 19, for you. These are divided into regular and prestige tasks.
Based on findings from data miners, it seems clear which tasks will be unlocked today, Thursday. These revolve around participating in races, dancing in front of telescopes, and surviving in the storm. Under the theme “Storm Racers,” the missions are collected.
How reliable is the leak? In recent weeks, the tasks have been reliably leaked before the official release. Therefore, we assume that these week’s tasks are also correct and will go live as well.
However, that will only be certain at 3:00 PM when the challenges in Fortnite are activated.
In Hearthstone some players, including well-known streamers, were banned. They maintained their innocence and have now received compensation.
In recent days, there have been some players in the Hearthstone subreddit who complained that their Hearthstone accounts were suddenly closed. According to Blizzard, they had violated the terms of service and even cheated using programs. Many players expressed confusion about this and maintained their innocence – in the end, they were proven right.
What happened? Many Hearthstone players were banned because they apparently played more cards than the game mechanics allow. Blizzard has automatic systems that check how many cards a player plays per turn.
There is a natural limit to how many actions one can perform in Hearthstone before the timer of a turn runs out. Typically, this limit is around 22-24, if one can even play that many cards.
SCHN1PP-SCHN4PP is to blame: The card at fault is SCHN1PP-SCHN4PP, a Mech with the keyword Echo, which allows it to be played multiple times in the same turn.
Through some mechanics, the cost of the card can be reduced to 0, allowing it to be played “infinitely” as long as it fits within the timeframe of a turn. Some players managed to play this card up to 30 times or more in a turn – completely without cheats.
How was this possible? In Hearthstone, there is a mechanic (or a bug, opinions differ) that can cause some turns to take a bit longer than others. Usually, this happens when the opponent has played many animations in the previous turn that carry over into their own turn.
This results in the player having more time and thus being able to play more cards than would actually be possible.
How has Blizzard reacted now? Blizzard has since apologized for the wrongfully imposed bans and has unlocked a large number of accounts. Most have received some card packs as compensation.
Furthermore, Blizzard wants to revise the system so that only cheaters can be caught. Cheaters have developed software that allows them to make the duration of a round last as long as they want or “cancel animations,” giving them more time as well.

The Community Day of Pokémon GO in October will revolve around Knacklion. We will tell you everything about bonuses, shinies, and the starting times.
The ground Pokémon Knacklion will be one of the last Pokémon of the 3rd generation to receive a Community Day. After all, there was already the first Gen-4 starter in September.
In addition to Knacklion, there will also be various bonuses that round off the event.
Community Day in October – Everything about the date and bonuses
When does the Community Event start? As previously announced, the Community Day will take place on October 12th. This time it’s a Saturday.
The times are again chosen around noon. From 11 AM to 2 PM you can hunt for Knacklion for 3 hours.
Look forward to these bonuses: In October, experience points will again be the focus. But there’s more:
Triple XP when catching Pokémon
Lure Modules last for 3 hours
More Knacklion will appear in the wild
An exclusive move, likely for Libelldra, will be announced later.
What do we know about the move? So far, this is just speculation. Many players expect the ground move Earth Power, which is incredibly strong. With this, Knacklion would rise among the top attackers of the ground type.
Shiny Knacklion, Vibrava, Libelldra
Is there a Shiny Knacklion? As always, there will also be the shiny form of Knacklion on this Community Day. You will easily recognize it because it is blue instead of orange.
What are the chances? The chance of encountering a Shiny will be high on Community Day. So far, it has always been 1 in 25. This can also be expected in October.
Brandon Tan certainly doesn’t need any more experience points. He has achieved a huge milestone:
Ashes of Creation is an ambitious MMORPG in development that is now significantly behind its original plans. At least, there is now a release date for the PvP standalone Apocalypse.
What is Ashes of Creation Apocalypse? Apocalypse was originally a part of the alpha designed to extensively test the combat system of the MMORPG.
For this, a Battle Royale was created where players were supposed to duke it out. However, in December 2018, it was decided to make the mode publicly accessible.
The developers decided in January 2019 to postpone the release of Apocalypse. In August, there were further tests, and now it should finally get going.
Apocalypse will finally be permanently playable
When does Apocalypse come out? As announced in a press release, Apocalypse will launch on Tuesday, September 24, in Early Access.
It starts at 21:00 German time, and the Battle Royale can be played solo, in pairs, or as a full squad. Servers will be available in America, Europe, and Singapore.
What’s next for Apocalypse? The PvP standalone is expected to continue to be developed over time. In addition to the Battle Royale, two more modes are planned:
In Destiny 2, all seasonal rank rewards for Season 8 are known. A cool sword emote for 2 Guardians is only available at rank 99.
Why are the rewards already known? Bungie has updated the official website for Shadowkeep, where you can now scroll through all seasonal rank rewards for Season 8.
With Season 8, a new reward system is being introduced – similar to a battle pass or season pass from other games. You can gradually level up through experience points, with each rank granting a reward. This is intended to provide long-term motivation so that you always have a goal in sight.
There are free seasonal rewards as well as additional premium rewards. You only receive the premium rewards if you own the season pass for the respective season.
Here’s how to access the premium season content: You need the season pass for the respective season:
If you have purchased Shadowkeep, you automatically own the season pass for Season 8.
A standalone season pass can be purchased in-game for 1000 Silver.
Season 8 is about the Vex
Here are the rewards of Season 8 at a glance
These are the rewards at the ranks: You have about 3 months per season to grab all seasonal rank rewards. There are a total of 100 ranks in Season 8.
Rank 1 to 10: Among the rewards are some symbols that cannot yet be clearly assigned. The most important item here at level 7 is the “Eye of the Tormentors” – the artifact of Season 8, with which you can break power level limits.
The top row is free for all Guardians, the bottom row is the premium row, available additionally for season pass holders:
Rank 11 to 20: Here are legendary armor pieces and various materials included:
Rank 21 to 30: More legendary armors, an exotic engram, and a legendary weapon at level 30:
Rank 31 to 40: The new exotic hand cannon “Eriana’s Vow” is available for free for everyone at level 35. With the season pass, you can get it at level 1:
Rank 41 to 50: At rank 45 there is a legendary machine gun:
Rank 51 to 60: The free rewards are getting scarcer. At level 60, there’s still an exotic engram, after that only glimmer engrams:
Rank 61 to 70:
Rank 71 to 80:
Rank 81 to 90: At rank 90, there’s an exotic ship:
Rank 91 to 100: At rank 99, you will get an exotic gesture, and at rank 100, there will probably be an ornament for the exotic hand cannon “Eriana’s Vow”.
What kind of gesture is there at level 99?
This is the sword gesture: This is very likely the gesture that was briefly shown in the new ViDoc for Shadowkeep. In the gesture, two Guardians clash their “light swords” together, sparking flames. It looks pretty cool:

If you want to pursue your passion for fishing in WoW Classic, you have quite a problem. The seas are basically empty, and a bug is to blame.
In the meantime, some players have reached the maximum level in World of Warcraft Classic and are focusing on other activities. For instance, gold farming is taking place, as well as leveling up secondary professions such as fishing. However, this is currently stressful, as many bodies of water in Azeroth seem to be mercilessly bugged.
What’s the problem? Many players report that while fishing in higher-level areas (from Tanaris / Feralas) at the coasts, an annoying bug occurs. They cast the line but cannot catch any fish. The loot window opens only for a brief moment, but it is empty. In most cases, there is no loot in the form of fish. The situation is different with schools of fish. From there, it is usually still possible to catch some fish, thus obtaining at least a bit of loot.
Astellia has announced the release time for the MMORPG on Discord. However, German players are not in a good position.
When does Astellia come out? In official posts, it was previously stated that Astellia would be released on September 27. We also received this information at Gamescom. However, this is not true at least from the perspective of European players.
The western version of the MMORPG will be released worldwide at 5pm PDT, which means for us at 2:00 AM. The official release date is thus pushed to September 28.
Players who have pre-ordered Astellia will gain access earlier:
Legendary Pack – September 21 at 2:00 AM
Platinum Pack – September 24 at 2:00 AM
Gold Pack – September 27 at 2:00 AM
Official Release – September 29 at 2:00 AM (The original plan was set for September 28. Due to issues, the release has been delayed by 24 hours)
Why does Astellia come out at this time? CM Aethon explains in a post that the time was chosen based on the best combination of American and Korean time.
In America, the release is coordinated in the West, while the developers are based in Korea. Thus, the European area misses out.
How do players react to the release time? In the official Astellia forum, there is heated discussion about the announced time. Some players, like the user Adventure Ape, took time off work specifically and are now angry:
Well, we still have a problem with this. I didn’t spend 100 euros for a head start on September 20, took time off for the 20th, just to be allowed to start on the 21st now [..]
Some players are so disappointed that they are considering a refund.
Others find the issue exaggerated and are looking forward to playing on Saturday morning. Some working people even see an advantage in the timing.
The exclusive mount for pre-order customers
How much does Astellia cost? The affordable pre-order version, the Gold Pack, costs 39.99 euros. The most expensive pack, which allows you to start a week earlier, costs 99.99 euros.
However, the pre-order campaign ends with the head start on September 21. The regular version is expected to cost 30 euros.
Alternatively, you can subscribe to the MMORPG monthly. You will pay 10 euros per month, but won’t have any other benefits. The start for this is also only on September 28.
Here we have summarized 5 things you should know before buying Astellia:
In Read Dead Online, the multiplayer of Red Dead Redemption 2, players find zombies. They believe in an “Undead Nightmare” DLC or nasty glitches.
Who found the zombies? On social media, some players report finding a type of undead NPC in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 Online. They appear surprisingly on the map and confuse players.
What kind of zombies are they? The discovered bodies are characterized by glowing eyes, for example. It looks really creepy when the eye sockets shine in a bright green. A glimpse of this is shown by Reddit user groats_active:
Others found these “zombies” with bluish skin. A Reddit user notes that so far there are mostly screenshots of female variants with these distinctive features.
Is a Zombie DLC coming for RDR 2 Online? Undead Nightmare? The Speculations
What is being discussed? In the RDR 2 community, these explosive finds are being hotly debated. Three points are at the forefront:
This might be an event starting too early
Red Dead Online could receive an Undead Nightmare DLC
This is all just a glitch and not intended
What supports an event? Halloween starts on October 31, 2019 for us. Perhaps the zombies should bring the necessary atmosphere to the online world of RDR 2.
What supports a DLC? An expansion with zombies, the original Undead Nightmare, was released as a premium addon for Red Dead Redemption during Halloween week in 2010. It included singleplayer missions, side quests, and other events as well as multiplayer modes. Fans have desired such a DLC for RDR 2 for a long time.
On Reddit a user writes “I don’t have too many hopes, but it’s still nice to see how potential zombie NPCs look. It simply shows how well they can create zombies for a real Undead DLC.”
What supports a glitch? A player writes on Reddit, he was led to the corpse by a barking dog and when he arrived there, he was ambushed. “I think this corpse belongs to a glitching trap, which is why the corpse stood upright.” Other players also confirm that they found such NPCs that felt “broken” in the game. When you threw them to the ground, they didn’t fall flat on the ground, but glitched.
