A team from the Overwatch League has been forced out of their training house – and that, before the training has even started. The neighbors apparently had concerns. Annoying, as the season starts soon.
Which team is it about? It is about the Houston Outlaws, one of the teams from the Overwatch League, who have been involved since the league’s inception. They rented a training house in The Woodlands, Houston, Texas – a place with quite expensive properties and houses.
Why were the Outlaws forced out? According to the US site click2houston, the residents of the area raised several concerns:

owners apparently fear that this value will decrease because of the gamers. In an official statement it was said that parking particularly raises major concerns:
The Residential Design Review Committee noted that if the Development Standards Committee considers granting a permit, it strongly suggests that the committee focuses on parking issues and agrees that vehicles will be towed in case of violation.
Team needs a new house just before the season

However, it seems that no one really understands where these concerns of the residents are coming from. For the team and also for the fans, they sound like made-up excuses.
Analynn Dang asks on Twitter if “traffic” might refer to the delivery services used by the players, such as for Chipotle. Rodriguez responds: “I think that is just made-up stuff. We haven’t even used the house for training yet.”
Why is the timing so unfortunate? For the Outlaws, it is very inconvenient to have to search for a new training house right now. Season 3 of the Overwatch League begins on February 8, 2020. Therefore, the team currently lacks opportunities to train for the league.
A new insider report about Activision Blizzard also casts a rather negative light on the company and the league. It remains to be seen how well Season 3 will perform and how the Outlaws will fare. At least the league might provide hints about Overwatch 2:

Thanks to “Open-Handed,” this radius is expanded by another 8 meters, reaching an impressive 24 meters. If all 4 survivors carry “Open-Handed,” then with “Kindred” you can even see the killer from a whopping 48 meters away! This exceeds the terror radius of most killers and ensures that on smaller maps like “The Game,” you can almost see the killer everywhere.
Note: It is said that “Kindred” combined with multiple “Open-Handed” only shows the killer at a maximum of 24 meters. However, in our testing, this was often exceeded. So, if this is a temporary bug, it suffices for one player to carry “Open-Handed.”
The perks “Aftercare” and “Alert” provide further information. If you rescue a survivor from the hook or heal him (or he does so for you), you can subsequently see each other’s auras thanks to “Aftercare.”
On the other hand, “Alert” shows the killer’s aura whenever he damages a generator or destroys a pallet. By combining both talents, you always have a good sense of who is currently being chased by the killer or where the killer is located.
This build provides many surprise moments and solid self-healing while escaping from the killer. It is also well-suited for eliminating totems.

What does this build offer? The combination of these perks provides solid self-healing options and at the same time many choices to escape from a killer or significantly ruin his day.
With “Small Game,” you will receive timely warnings about nearby totems. These should be cleansed at all costs so that “Inner Strength” can be activated. This perk ensures that you heal in a locker after 8 seconds if you have cleansed a totem (and are now injured).
Thanks to “Quick & Quiet,” you can enter a locker in the middle of a chase without making noise, provided the killer has no line of sight.
In general, killers take longer than 8 seconds to finish searching and then head for the lockers. Before the killer can do this, you can rush out with “Head On” and stun the killer for a few seconds.
If you’ve been playing Dead by Daylight for a long time and know the spawn points of all totems by heart, you can skip “Small Game” and instead use another perk. “Dance With Me” fits perfectly here, as you then leave no scratch marks for a few seconds when hastily exiting a locker.
This build can drive killers crazy if you choose the location of your “downfall” wisely. It provides many unexpected escape opportunities.

What does this build offer? With these four perks, it becomes a true nightmare for the killer to hook you and sometimes even lose sight of you beforehand.
Tenacity makes you crawl 50% faster while you can recover at the same time. Thanks to “Unbreakable,” the recovery speed is also increased by 35%. When the killer picks you up from the ground, “Flip-Flop” ensures that 50% of your recovery status is converted into wiggle progress – up to a maximum of 49% of the bar. As a result, the killer can only carry you for a short distance before he has to drop you.
“Boil Over” additionally ensures that this distance becomes a challenge for the killer as it makes him sway more to the sides and simultaneously obscures the aura of hooks within a 14-meter radius.
Finally, you can use “Unbreakable” once to lift yourself off the ground. This is especially helpful when the killer is fed up and leaves you lying there.
It’s worth choosing wisely when escaping in a desperate situation. If you fall far from the hook or jump through a window or over a pallet at the last second, you can recover significantly before the killer picks you up.
Honestly, I’m surprised at how often I’ve been able to escape with this combination of perks and what kind of impact “Boil Over” can have on maps with narrow corridors. For me, it’s definitely one of the underrated perks in the game.

2019 was the best year for Pokémon GO since its release. The app from Niantic brought in nearly 900 million dollars. We explain the reasons for this.
Here are the numbers: 2019 was a record year for Pokémon GO. According to Sensortower, the app made 894 million dollars. That’s 10% more than in 2018 and even more than in the release year of 2016, when almost everyone came into contact with Pokémon GO.
Over the years, Niantic has already earned over 3 billion dollars with Pokémon GO.
Why was Pokémon GO so successful in 2019?
This is behind the success: Not only in terms of revenue was 2019 a true success year for Pokémon GO. Niantic held a total of 3 GO Fests and numerous Safari Zones. For the GO Fests alone, tickets were sometimes over 40 euros each. However, this money should be added on top of the 894 million. Only the revenues from app stores were considered there, while tickets for the GO Fest could be purchased outside the shop.

Team Rocket was eagerly awaited by many trainers and likely brought back several returnees and newcomers to the game. Upon release, many players complained about the lack of potions, which were certainly also bought in the shop.
September, in particular, was exceptionally strong with a revenue of 126 million dollars. The Ultra Bonus also took place then, which brought Shiny Mewtwo and new Pokémon from Gen 5. Why AGAIN too casual? Since Forsaken, Bungie has wanted to do more for the core fans, no longer focusing Destiny 2 on casuals. Because in short: this orientation was one of the biggest points of criticism since the launch of Destiny 2.
Much in the game has been too easy, too diluted, there have been hardly any special moments or long-term motivation. Many veterans and core players were upset. What does Gladd say in his tweet? Gladd essentially criticizes, like some other players, exactly this aspect – that Destiny 2 is once again oriented towards casual players. In 5 tweets, he lets his palpable frustration flow free.

What is the truth of Gladd’s objections? Regardless of how one ultimately views Gladd’s objections – it cannot be denied that he is right about some things.
Even if some new elements have been added over time that clearly address core players, such as Armor 2.0, the additional armor stats, or the random rolls – Destiny 2 has indeed become noticeably easier in many places (but not everywhere) in recent months.
Difficult quests like the Whisper Sniper are currently hard to find. There are also hardly any challenging puzzles, like the Niobe Lab Puzzle. The most challenging activities at the moment seem to be the 980 Nightfall and the raids – aside from that, there is hardly anything left in terms of challenging engagement.
Whereas it used to take entire seasons to obtain some top weapons, many can now be obtained in just weeks or days. And the new ritual weapons cannot compete in terms of quality or the challenge of their quests.
In general, much is handed to players. The power level now essentially plays a secondary role. Recent examples of the trend towards simplification are the legendary sundial activity and the exotic quest (if you can even call it that) for the Devil’s Ruin pistol.
The new difficulty level of the sundial (the hardest activity of Season 9) comes in at power level 950 – 30 levels below the current cap and below the hardest Nightfall from the previous season, which can be further overleveled with the artifact. The activity does not differ much from the regular version apart from some modifiers, poses no real challenge for most guardians, and offers little incentive to play it.
Moreover, the new exotic quest is not well-received by many. Although the great dialogues and Shaxx’ singing compensate for this quest design for some guardians, many are dissatisfied with this way of introducing new exotics into the game. Because as part of the new quest, the new weapon exotic is essentially given for free once you receive the quest. One does not have to do much for it.
However, whether Destiny 2 has generally become too easy and completely targets casuals, or whether Bungie is currently serving both sides, core and casual players well – we now want to know from you. What do you think about all this?

The next phase of World of Warcraft Classic has been announced. Soon there will be “new” raids and other exciting content.
For several weeks now, players of World of Warcraft Classic have been engaging in PvP and trying to earn rewards for the highest ranks. This often leads to frustration. But it won’t be long before the next phase begins, bringing even more content. In addition to a new raid, there are fresh reputation rewards, class quests, and the famous Darkmoon Faire.
When does Phase 3 start? The third phase of WoW Classic officially starts on February 12, 2020, which is in a little more than four weeks.
What does Phase 3 include? The release on February 12 will unlock the following content:
Blackwing Lair (engl. Blackwing Lair, short BWL) – A new raid with Nefarian as the final boss. Here, players can earn a significant portion of the popular T2 set.
Class quests – New class quests for all classes starting at level 50. Some of the quests offer rewards that will likely be “Best in Slot” for many characters for a long time.
New reputation rewards – The Argent Dawn, Thorium Brotherhood, and the two Warsong factions will receive new reputation rewards.
Pre-quest available now: To facilitate quick access to the next raid BWL (Blackwing Lair), players must complete a quest chain. This “Attunement Quest” named “Blackhand’s Command” can be started from today, January 10, 2020. The quest starts with the Scarshield Quartermaster, located at the end of a small corridor, right next to the entrance to Blackrock Spire. Kill him and loot the item “Blackhand’s Command” to start the quest.
If you complete the quest chain, you can teleport directly into the raid at the orb at the end of the hallway next to the entrance to Blackrock Spire. Anyone planning to raid here should complete this quest promptly.
The Faire starts even earlier: Just a few days before the release of Phase 3, the Darkmoon Faire will begin. What type of mod is this? The mod “Shadows of Skelos – Extended” was created as an extension for the German-speaking roleplay server “Shadows of Skelos” in Conan Exiles. However, the mod is now only available in English. As the author revealed to us, it was switched to English after a database error and due to the growing number of subscribers from its originally bilingual development.
If you want, you can create your own RP server with this and a number of other mods. A link to the community’s Discord servers and further assistance is available on Steam (link further down).
What does it change? “Shadows of Skelos” adds over 900 new items, new talents, and recipe books to the game. This also includes new workbenches for crafting the new items.
Who is the mod for? The mod is primarily aimed at roleplayers, i.e., players who want to embody a character. Many players with the same interests meet on “Shadows of Skelos.”
Those who want to play Conan Exiles with the “Shadows of Skelos” mod should be open to it. In conversation, an admin of the server revealed to us that the community is happy to help newcomers. Interested players can see if they feel comfortable.
Even PvE players like to use the mod to make dungeons more atmospheric.
Usually, anyone who disturbs others during roleplay will quickly be warned or even removed. For private servers, the mod only adds new items, which are mostly cosmetic in nature. If you are only interested in gameplay elements like building and combat, the mod is only worth it to a limited extent.

However, “Roleplay” also introduces features to the game that “Shadows of Skelos” does not offer. The mod is more suitable for the more traditional type of roleplay (like pen-and-paper).
The Överflöd Imorgon is now the most expensive sports car in GTA 5 Online. However, players are dissatisfied with its top speed. Is it worth the purchase?

The lap times: In races, the Imorgon shows its good side when looking at acceleration and cornering behavior. Within the sports car class, it ranks 5th. With good traction, it safely takes turns at higher speeds.

Conclusion: Visually, the Imorgon is quite a successful car for many players that one should consider putting in the garage. They only stated that Regigigas will stay in the raids longer. They did not specify a timeframe.
Are the raids still worth it? From a purely stats perspective, Regigigas is a really strong Pokémon. Unfortunately, it is only a Normal type and does not have a good moveset. As an all-rounder, it is solid, but Regigigas will probably never be an effective counter against another Pokémon. You can find a detailed analysis of Regigigas’s strength here.
Regigigas is therefore not as rewarding as Mewtwo was, for example. All in all, it is better than Deoxys, but you don’t have to try to include it in every raid.
What’s strange about the EX Raids: The communication between Niantic and the players regarding the EX Raids with Regigigas seems a bit odd.
In general, many players were surprised that Regigigas was supposed to be available only until early January. That would only have been about 3 months, relatively short for an EX Raid boss.
Moreover, Niantic has not commented for days about a potential new boss. After all, players have been asking for a while about what happens after Regigigas. Only now, three days after the actual end, does Niantic come forward and extend the EX Raid boss.

In 2019, new MMORPGs excelled particularly on mobile platforms. Especially Black Desert Mobile has gathered many positive reviews after a weaker start. PC players primarily received Asian MMORPGs like Astellia or ArcheAge Unchained.

After the new MMO in the Magic universe, Magic: Legends, has shown its first gameplay trailer, it has received criticism on sites like MeinMMO or on YouTube. Apparently, the game is not exactly what players expected from a “new MMO-ARPG”.
The video has fairly balanced ratings: 839 positive to 816 negative
votes (as of January 9th at 19:40).
What does the community say? There are various reactions to the gameplay, which can at best be described as subdued:
Ferrety6012 on YouTube says: “They could have mentioned beforehand that it’s an ARPG… I expected something completely different.”
Doran Noir also says on YouTube: „ (…) I never thought of this when the developers said they were working on an MMO. It looks like Diablo mixed with a mobile game. That’s… not an MMO.”

New Challenge: The Master Rank
With the Iceborne expansion, several new features are introduced to the game. Players who have been around for a while will also be offered a lot. Boredom is definitely not on the agenda, thanks to the new difficulty level.
In Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, you can expect the Master Rank (MR). This is considered an extension of the well-known Low and High Rank. The MR is quite challenging at the beginning and offers a nice new challenge.

The new equipment: With the Master Rank, new equipment comes into play, of course. As is customary for an addon, the first armor set here is almost stronger than the best clothes in the base game – depressing. But who hasn’t always wanted to quest with the Jagras armor?
I kept my Gamma set for quite a while. But it was eventually replaced by the Nargacuga set. The new bonuses of the armors are indeed unbeatable. Plus, they look incredibly stylish, including those for the Palico.
There are also extensions for the weapons. You can continue to build your old trees. So, if you enjoyed collecting weapons in Monster Hunter World, you have already done a great job for Iceborne.
Additionally, the weapon trees of the new monsters have been added, some of which deliver a lot of raw damage. Others impress with significant elemental damage.
A cool new tool – The Clutch Claw
One of the best new features of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is, in my opinion, the Clutch Claw. This new tool is like a hook on a rope attached to your arm. You have it automatically equipped and don’t need to worry about anything else.

With this weapon, you can quickly reduce the distance to the monster. Once you are attached, you can injure it by using regular attacks or a final attack. This makes the affected area more vulnerable to damage. Additionally, the monster may drop slinger ammo as a result.
With this slinger ammo, you can perform the most enjoyable attack. In the “Recoil Shot,” you need to stick yourself to the monster’s face. Now you can flip it over and slam it against the wall with the use of the slinger ammo. It feels incredibly satisfying when you’ve dealt 2000 damage and the monster is still lying there to be pummeled.
The endgame in Master Rank: With Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, a cool new endgame system was introduced. In the so-called Guiding Lands, you can level up different regions. The better your area gets, the stronger monsters will await you. Ultimately, you can also unlock secret monsters there.
It will get more comfortable: The Iceborne patch also brings more convenience to the game. You have already read about the new capital Seliana. Everything is very accessible here and also available in the gathering hub.
But a lot has also changed in the menu system. You can now customize your rifle at the item box without needing to go to the blacksmith. Additionally, you can also change your item wheel there and save it along with your item sets.

However, you shouldn’t think that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne only has something to offer for experienced players. Newcomers can have their share too. If you acquired the game in a bundle, you can access the Iceborne features right from the start. The best part is probably the Clutch Claw.
But with the patch related to Iceborne, a lot of practical features also come into the base game. This makes it easier for newcomers to get started and prepares them quite well for what awaits them later in Iceborne.
The Guardian Armor
This equipment you can use: First, you receive the Guardian Armor as a gift. This is a strong armor set that you can still improve. This will help you get through the base game’s story.
A relief also comes from the Defender weapon tree. These Defender weapons require not many materials and have a very high attack value. Armed with this equipment, you can focus entirely on the monsters. And of course, on the fun of the game.
However, this help for the base game also has its drawbacks. You will find it much easier to deal with the monsters. This may negatively affect the practice you have with your chosen weapon type. So, you should not take the quests lightly as soon as you are in the MR and continue to practice hard.
This player in Fortnite: Battle Royale lost his boat out of sight during a match while dueling another player. The brilliant escape route of the boat was revealed in the replay.
What happened to the player? On Reddit, user NJ2244 shares a clip showing him in a match of Fortnite: Battle Royale. He is driving his boat on land and exits it during the ride to fight an opponent on foot.
After winning the duel, he suddenly can’t find his boat. It had stealthily chosen a brilliant escape route to hide from the player. It wasn’t until the replay that NJ2244 noticed how the boat managed to do that.

What makes Berlin special: In our survey, the capital ended up in fifth place. Given the population numbers, the capital would likely appeal to many players – some Pokémon trainers probably come from Berlin.
Residents of Berlin were able to celebrate last May, when a special Pokémon GO event was launched during re:publica. With the large Tiergarten, Berlin also has a suitable green area that could theoretically qualify as an event venue.

What makes Cologne special: Cologne is always worth a trip – so why not participate in a GO Fest there? Especially during Gamescom, Pokémon GO often has surprises in store for the cathedral city.
Moreover, players from Düsseldorf, Bonn, or Leverkusen wouldn’t have far to travel to Cologne – not to mention Dortmund, which is only about an hour and a half away by car. The inner green belt around the Aachener Weiher and the Mediapark are popular spots that could potentially host a GO Fest.

What makes Hamburg special: The city in the north is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. And there is also a large, active Pokémon GO community here. Of course, Hamburg is not as centrally located as other destinations, but it is well connected by train from almost anywhere.
In Hamburg, there was a small Pokémon event during the Long Night of Museums
The Hamburg Stadtpark or Planten un Blomen would make excellent locations for a GO Fest: On Community Days, there’s always a lot happening here, from the expansive Stadtpark meadow to the more secluded corners of the park. The only question left is about the weather: Hamburg is known for its “shitty weather”. However, in summer, luck might be on our side – and a GO Fest would definitely attract many players to Hamburg.

What makes Munich special: The city in the south is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. And there is also a large, active Pokémon community here. Of course, Munich is not as centrally located… you already notice: If you compare Munich and Hamburg, they are practically two sides of the same coin.
For the GO Fest, there will be special Pokémon available
While Hamburg would be quite far for many players in the north, Munich would be quite far in the other direction. However, Munich also has a lot to offer outside of a GO Fest, and a trip would definitely be worth it. The English Garden, for example, would provide plenty of space for a GO Fest.

What makes Dortmund special: Your number 1 is also possibly the most promising candidate: After the Safari Zone and the first GO Fest, many of you would be happy if the event takes place again in the Westfalenpark.
Will it be back in Westfalenpark?
No wonder, many players have had good experiences with the location. All that remains is to wait and see if Dortmund will be selected again by Niantic as a suitable candidate.
