Today marks the release of the new DLC Harrowstorm for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), as well as Update 25. And with this, the online role-playing game significantly reduces its size for the sake of performance. But what does this really bring?

FierceSam writes: “Significantly more crashes in heavily populated areas. But this might be due to the fact that there is much more going on there.”
Blind_Stargazer explains: “So far I love this game update. The game feels much smoother and responds faster plus I have more storage space left.”

This is the clip: After just about a day, the clip already garnered more than 57,000 upvotes and immediately secured the third spot among the most popular threads on Modern Warfare’s Reddit (February 25, 11 AM).
At first, you see the somewhat uncertain approach to the popular camper spot on the Ground War map. After exiting, “djdavyjeff” was able to take an unexpected spot and even made a tactical entry to secure another chance to clear the roof.
However, it turned out that he wouldn’t need it. Within 30 seconds, the relentless sniper killer took out 12 campers who were terrorizing the map from the rooftop.
How did he do it? The rooftops of “Tavorsk District” are a magnet for campers. Many of the high-rises on the Ground War map are walkable and provide great spots for sniping. Consequently, these rooftops are also vulnerable to small raids.
“djdavyjeff” managed to get onto the roof undetected. The campers probably thought that one of the many players up there would have taken care of the guy in the helicopter. But “djdavyjeff” could assume a really good position and went into battle with strong control.
Why was he so successful? In a normal “Ground War” match, it would have been more difficult. However, there is currently a “Realism Ground War” playlist running. All players have less health, and the HUD doesn’t provide as much information.
Thus, “djdavyjeff” was able to clear the entire roof and probably share the clips of his life with the joy of many thousands of MW fans.

Tonight is the night: The online action RPG Path of Exile (PoE) will present its new expansion. Does the Steam hit Wolcen need to brace itself?
What is Grinding Gear Games announcing? In recent weeks, the developers have been on a press tour to present the next expansion of the action RPG Path of Exile. Tonight around 9 PM the embargo will be lifted and we will know what this expansion brings.
However, a pattern is emerging for PoE according to Steamcharts when it comes to player numbers. Whenever a new expansion is released, the numbers spike sharply, only to drop significantly shortly after. This shows: A new addon brings the PoE fans back to the game in droves until they have played through the content.
This could pose a real danger to Wolcen. Depending on what the next expansion brings, the player numbers might even surpass those of Wolcen.
If the next expansion meets the fans’ expectations and runs smoothly and without major bugs, it could be possible that PoE surpasses Wolcen in Steam player numbers.

No one knows yet exactly what the map in ARK Genesis will look like. However, there are many clues that we can use as a guide. On one hand, there is the Steam description on the Genesis page, including images and the trailer, and on the other hand, you can refer to the previous story and take a look at the ending of Extinction.

The reddit user Chrizerker managed to uncover the entire map shortly after the launch of the Genesis expansion. According to this, there are 4 biomes and the moon.
The map in Extinction
Looking at the map in Extinction, it is already very versatile. The last expansion takes place on Earth, like Genesis. However, here it is still contaminated by element and ruled by the Titans.
Extinction is a contaminated wasteland where two more ARKs are located.
This is what we see: On the surface, the ruin in the center of the map stands out, a city built by the former Earth civilization. Surrounding it is mostly just wasteland. It would therefore be possible to find more large cities in Genesis.
On the upper and lower right side of the map, there are two intact mini-ARKs that haven’t launched into space like their larger versions: The desert and ice biome. In the northwest, there is an underground forest, which, like the other two biomes, is protected by an obelisk. These points will be important later.
What does the story say about the Genesis map?
When we look at how Genesis should be structured based on the previous story, it becomes clear that there must be many biomes. At the end of Extinction, all ARKs that were in space slowly returned to Earth to execute the Reseed protocol. They are meant to re-energize the Earth and remove the remaining contamination.

To traverse the large map, it will likely be possible to teleport long distances via the drone HLN-A. We also read on the Steam page regarding “traveling between environments”. We see this in the trailer as well. However, this costs hexagons, a new resource you receive upon completing missions.

The Twitch streamer and YouTuber Kurt0411 has received a hefty ban from Electronic Arts. They have banned him from all their games and online services. With his personal attacks, the FIFA20 streamer seems to have gone too far.
Who is it about? The streamer Kurt “Kurt0411” Fenech is a FIFA pro and known for his YouTube videos and livestreams. He has frequently made headlines for clashing with EA. Now, the studio Electronic Arts has imposed a severe punishment on him.
Kurt has been banned from all EA games and is no longer allowed to access the online services.
EA publicly announces ban via social media
This is how EA acted: On social channels like Twitter, EA released a statement regarding the streamer on February 24. They wrote that Kurt had already violated EA’s guidelines and threatened employees back in November.
[…] Since then, Kurt has continued to post abusive and threatening messages and videos about EA employees and competitive players on social media, encouraging others to do the same. His messages have crossed a line of decency and led to very personal attacks, violating our terms of service. We will not tolerate threatening behavior.
As a result, today Kurt0411’s EA account is being banned from playing our games and accessing our services due to these serious and repeated violations. […]
What is the backstory? The first warnings for the streamer occurred in October 2018 and March 2019. In November 2019, Kurt made headlines with a tournament ban in FIFA 20. EA imposed this ban on the streamer when he grabbed an EA scarf on camera and spat on it. Shortly after, he was upset about an opponent in a “garbage game” by EA and shouted “Fuck You” at the studio.
A few days ago, on February 15, Kurt appeared with an alien mask in a “diss track” titled “Little Rats”. In the past, he referred to EA as rats (via Twitter).
In the song, he explains “the alien is here to wipe out the little rats piece by piece”.

What is Dragon Eye Online? The new indie MMORPG Dragon Eye Online takes place in a 2D world where players are not supposed to have limits.
The focus is on:
3 different factions
The classless combat system, where the selected attributes determine the gameplay.
A fully player-controlled economy. Every piece of equipment in the game must be crafted by others.
Quests where you don’t just mindlessly kill enemies, but consist of a series of unique tasks. Some are meant to occupy you for a week, but will reward you accordingly.
Randomly generated events that depend on the server and can trigger domino effects.
Dungeons where the bosses adjust dynamically to the player groups and their composition.
Open-world PvP in specific areas and PvP in arenas with leaderboards.
The game forgoes particularly strong graphics and thus especially appeals to fans of old-school MMORPGs such as Tibia or RuneScape.
When will the MMORPG be released? Alpha 1 started on February 22 and is expected to last until March 15. After that, the second test is supposed to follow. To participate in the Alpha, you must purchase a founder’s package.
For Alpha 1, at least one package costing $79.99 is required. The most expensive package costs $289.99 and the cheapest is available for $14.99. However, the latter only grants you access to Alpha 3.
However, Alpha 1 will not yet offer all the promised content.
What does the first Alpha contain? The first Alpha contains, according to the official website:
A revamped UI compared to previous tests
Attributes with which the playstyle can be adjusted
A combat system with weapons, each containing 4 skills, and 3 additional skills (HP potions, mana potions, combat potions). Moreover, it has been adjusted compared to previous tests
A trading and crafting system
However, you will have to forgo groups, the promised varied quests, dungeons, and PvP.

For which platforms will Dragon Eye Online be released? The new MMORPG is set to be released for both PC and mobile devices.
With “Warlords of New York”, new Brand Sets are meant to expand the equipment variety of The Division 2. This allows players more options to create builds for their agents. Here, we present 4 of these new Brand Sets.
Also included are new Brand Sets, meaning equipment that allows for different specializations of agents. We take a closer look at the properties of the new Brands.

These are the sets: So far, 4 Brand Sets are known to be coming with the new expansion. These are equipment from:
Golan Gear Ltd
Česká Vyroba s.r.o.
Grupo Sombra S.A.
Hana-U Corporation
What are Brands anyway? Brands are essentially nothing more than labels or manufacturers of certain equipment. Many (but not all) pieces of equipment that you encounter in the world of The Division 2 come from such a brand.
In addition to Gear Sets and exotic items, they are supposed to provide greater build variety with their special additional bonuses.
How do the Brand Sets work? Each brand provides you with up to three bonuses, which differ from brand to brand and focus on different play styles and tactical priorities.
The more parts of a single brand your agent has equipped, the more of the 3 bonus effects will be activated. If you equip 3 pieces of one brand, all 3 bonuses are active. However, there are more than just 3 pieces of a Brand.
These Brand parts can be freely combined, allowing you to, for example, activate 2 effects from 2 different Brands while still utilizing the talents of an Exotic.
What the new sets can do in detail: The new Brands offer your agents the following bonus effects:
Golan Gear Ltd:
+10% Status Effects (1 piece)
1% Armor regeneration per second (2 pieces)
+5% total armor (3 pieces)
Česká Vyroba s.r.o.:
+10% Chance for critical hits (1 piece)
+10% hazard protection (2 pieces)
+8% health points (3 pieces)
Grupo Sombra S.A.:
+15% critical hit damage (1 piece)
+15% explosive damage (2 pieces)
+10% headshot damage (3 pieces)
Hana-U Corporation:
+20% skill haste (1 piece)
+20% skill damage (2 pieces)
+5% weapon damage (3 pieces)

How good are these new sets? It is currently difficult to assess. With Warlords of New York, a multitude of changes will come into play, including to the old Brand Sets. Therefore, it is hard to say where the new Brand Sets will place in the meta.
It is also still unclear whether the +10% Status Effects refers to damage or duration of these effects, and how useful things like 1% Armor regeneration or +8% health points will be after all the changes.
However, first conclusions can already be drawn. None of the 4 shown sets require all 3 bonuses to be viable. In combination, loadouts featuring Grupo-Sombra pieces and Česká-Vyroba items could enable some interesting builds.
Because to increase critical hit chance or critical hit damage, previous Brands required at least 2-3 pieces. Here, the bonus is available from the first Brand item.
And for those who focus on skills in their builds, pieces of the Hana-U set may become interesting.
Will there be more new Brand Sets? Currently, it’s not known. So far, only these 4 have been discovered in gameplay materials. However, it is quite possible that more new manufacturer Brands with special bonuses will be added.
Do you need the expansion for the new sets? The sets will likely come with the new expansion and the accompanying update. However, it is not yet known whether they are necessarily tied to the expansion.

What about the existing Brand Sets? These are set to be revised with the new expansion. Some will receive new talents, or old ones will be adjusted. It will also be exciting to see how the Brand Sets in general will change with the new Title Update in the context of Warlords of New York and what impact they will have on the gameplay.

A 7-year-old Australian girl captured the hearts of the audience at a Pokémon tournament. The special thing: she won in the end and then gave a heartwarming interview.
This is the player in question: The 7-year-old Simone Lim participated in the Pokémon Oceania International Juniors Championships and surprisingly defeated the defending champion in the final.
The audience was immediately taken by the young champion. By her side was a plush partner, as she took her Eevee stuffed toy everywhere she went.
This is how the final turned out: Lim was in the last battle of the tournament against the defending champion. Initially, things looked bad for the 7-year-old, as she was facing a Rhyperior and a Bewear with her Tyranitar.
The little girl played wisely and read her opponent’s moves. Accordingly, she countered these actions and won with two effective attacks against her opponent.

What about Bleeding Edge? The skill Bleeding Edge deals more damage the more debuffs are stacked on the opponent, provided the skill has been modified accordingly.
This can increase the damage by a factor of 40, making the warrior ridiculously strong. At the same time, warriors are much more defensive than a wizard, which is why this build currently leads to many discussions. However, these could be over with the new update.
