Currently, many Guardians are complaining about the new legendary weapons that were added with Season 10 in Destiny 2. All of them would have an annoying weakness that didn’t exist before the Season of Worthy. What is it about?
What is the issue with the weakness? For almost a week now, the Season of Worthy has been running in Destiny 2. And while some Guardians are excited about the return of Trials and the new content of Season 10 – not all Guardians are happy at the moment.
One of the things currently weighing on players is the new legendary weapons that came to Destiny 2 with the current season and Update 2.8.0. It seems that compared to previous legendaries, they have been restricted in the combinations of their perks. Many players are not pleased with this.
At least the appearance can’t be complained about
What exactly is the problem with the legendary weapons from S10? In short: Apparently, it is not possible for any of the 21 new and returning legendary weapons from Season 10 to have a perk for faster reloads roll simultaneously with a damage bonus perk – neither with the returning faction weapons, nor with the Trials guns or the Seraph weapons.
Many players noticed this when they were searching the popular info site light.gg for possible perk combinations for the new weapons.
If you have a reload perk like Outlaw on the weapon, you can no longer get a damage perk on the weapon – such as Kill Clip or Rampage. Thus, many popular and strong perk combos are not possible with the new weapons.
Are my old GoD rolls at risk? No, this change has only been observed with the new weapons and those from Season 10. All rolls before this time remain intact.
What do the players say? Many Guardians do not like this change at all. The new legendary weapons are inferior to the previous ones in this regard except for their higher power level, which diminishes the incentive to even chase them, according to many players.
Especially the fact that there is only one new ritual weapon this season makes this situation even more disappointing for some Guardians. There is hardly anything worth grinding for.
Some are also annoyed as they think this change was made due to the return of Trials to better control balance there.
The Seventh Seraph weapons from Season 10
Only the Seraph weapons and their Warmind cell mechanic (kills can spawn cells that trigger the artifact mods of Season 10 in your armor) are seen by some players as a silver lining among the new weapons in the Season of Worthy and as a kind of consolation for the limited perk combos.
What do you think of this step? Is it good that Bungie is trying to break old structures and make players more open to new perk combos? Or do you see this development critically?
In January 2020, Temtem made a big splash. The MMO was considered a competitor to the Pokémon games for many and attracted thousands of players at launch. But what is the situation now, almost 2 months later?
This is Temtem: The game is also referred to as a Pokémon MMO, as it combines the principle of Pokémon with various MMO elements. Many players had long wished for such a game, and Temtem was received very positively.
In the game, you can catch small colorful monsters and level them up. In combat, you can then face off against NPCs or other trainers. It all sounds very much like Pokémon, but the difference is that it all takes place in a large online world. Factors like housing or the interaction with other trainers and the synergies of Temtems are crucial.
All of this brought Temtem and the small Spanish development team a huge hype at release. On January 21, when Temtem started in Early Access, the servers were flooded. 20,000 players gained access there, and thousands waited patiently for their start. On the first day, more than 30,000 players were reportedly active at peak times, and on Steam, the Pokémon MMO was ahead of giants like GTA Online and Monster Hunter World.
At the start, the hype around the cute Temtems was huge
2 Months After Release – What is the Status of Temtem?
What do the player numbers say? Temtem can no longer reach the numbers from release. According to Steamcharts, Temtem peaked at 4,554 players in the last 24 hours. Over the last 30 days, it had an average of 5,150 players.
This is how Temtem has developed in recent weeks. Source: Steamcharts
Compared to the release month of January, this is already a significant decline. Back then, it had an average of nearly 22,000 active players.
Nonetheless, one must say that the numbers of over 4,500 players are quite strong for an indie MMO. Currently, it ranks 111th among all games on Steam by player count. (As of March 17 at 11:00 AM)
Why are the numbers declining? It might not necessarily be dwindling interest causing the drop. The Early Access version offers only about 50% of the content of Temtem. The story content can be completed in about 20 to 30 hours. Many players are now waiting for new content.
Of course, you can have a lot of experiences in Temtem alongside the story, but this seems to keep mainly the extreme fans in the game.
What new content has there been? The new patches brought a new area but primarily focused on fixes within the game. Many new contents have not been visible so far. However, they added an endgame area with the Saipark.
The developers have already given new insights into future features. According to the roadmap, new matchmaking is expected this spring. Further Temtems are planned for the summer.
These features are still expected in Temtem this year
What do players say about Temtem? The mood in the community is, similar to the start, very good. On Steam, there are almost 21,000 reviews, of which 88% were positive. Only 2,360 reviews were negative, some of which were made only because of the third pronoun.
Overall, many players report that Temtem still has several bugs, but they notice the developers’ efforts. Furthermore, players emphasize that the game is still in Early Access and more Temtems will come.
So writes the user Crimefire@aka as a review on Steam:
“The game still has some bugs, and I miss some features in the game, but since the game is still in Early Access, that is not a problem, as I think it will all be fixed. Also, it’s already 100 times better than Pokémon, and I enjoy playing it very much.”
When is Temtem supposed to leave Early Access? The MMO is scheduled to release version 1.0 in spring 2021. This also includes a release on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Until then, a lot of endgame content is expected to be released.
Do you still need tips for Temtem? We link you here some guides for the Pokémon MMO:
The Fuel Rats have already rescued 70,000 players in the space MMO Elite Dangerous. But who are they and why do they do it?
What is being celebrated in Elite Dangerous? Players are currently celebrating the organization Fuel Rats because they have rescued 70,000 pilots in the space MMO from certain virtual death.

Who are the Fuel Rats? The Fuel Rats are an organization made up of players from Elite Dangerous, established in 2015. Because players often get stranded in the vastness of space due to not paying attention to their fuel levels.
To ensure these pilots do not have to abandon their often valuable ships, the Fuel Rats have formed. They plan rescue missions to the most remote corners of the galaxy to bring the stranded essential fuel so that they can at least reach the first outposts of civilization to refuel.
This has led to some very spectacular rescue operations. For example, in 2017, during a 48-hour operation, the pilot Cmdr. Perersa had to be rescued.
Players of Elite Dangerous could follow this rescue live. Perersa wanted to set a new record and fly as far into space as no one had before. However, the fuel ran out along the way and Perersa got stranded where no one else could reach.
The Fuel Rats organized help, which pushed them to their limits. Nevertheless, they succeeded and Perersa was rescued.
Such actions have ensured that the Fuel Rats have become a solid and respected institution in Elite Dangerous. Players know they can turn to this organization when something goes wrong in exploring space and they need fuel.
How do you contact the Fuel Rats? If you find yourself stranded in space in Elite Dangerous, you need to call for help via the organization’s website.
Be prepared that you may not be rescued immediately. Organizing a rescue plan can take some time.

How does the group proceed? Depending on the position of the stranded player, several fully-fueled ships from the Rats usually head towards the player to be rescued, forming a sort of fuel transport chain. The last ship is supposed to arrive at the stranded player with enough fuel so that they can siphon off enough to safely fly away. Of course, the rescuer should still have enough fuel to return safely.
What does a rescue cost? Basically, a rescue is free. However, the Fuel Rats appreciate donations. You can negotiate a personalized amount with the organization. The Fuel Rats see themselves as the “good” ones in Elite Dangerous and want to rescue as many players as possible.
Why do they do this? The group sees themselves as helpers in need. There are simply many cases where players get stranded in space. This can be frustrating and the Fuel Rats want to come to the rescue.
It is also a kind of role-playing. Players take on the role of a space ADAC, have a lot of fun doing it, and still do something good.
Does it always work? No. The Fuel Rats also have limits. So far, according to the organization’s website, 2,823 players could not be rescued. With currently 70,297 successful operations, that is a reasonable average.
Have you ever needed the help of the Fuel Rats in Elite Dangerous? Share your experiences.

This is the fan-favorite: Gaige and her robot Deathtrap are among the fan-favorites. The former Vault Hunter first appeared as a playable DLC character in Borderlands 2. In “Guns, Love, and Tentacles“, she takes on the role of wedding planner for the two homosexual characters Wainwright and Hammerlock. Both play a significant role in Borderlands 3.
Here’s what it’s about in Guns, Love, and Tentacles
As a guest, you land on the ice planet Xylourgos and must battle “the forces of otherworldly evil.” Your goal is to facilitate the engagement party of Hammerlock and Wainwright.
Along the way, you’ll encounter:
Old friends and “creepy new characters,” as well as
bloodthirsty enemies and bosses, including alien beasts, mutated occultists, and a clan of cold-blooded bandits
During your adventure on Xylourgos, you can:
dive into the disturbing and occasionally silly backstories of the cursed villagers in a series of side quests
equip your Vault Hunters with new gear, including plenty of additional legendary items and some particularly powerful class mods
acquire many cosmetic items like Vault Hunter heads, skins, interactive room decorations, and new vehicle skins
Everyone can join in!
The DLC will also be available to anyone who owns the season pass or has purchased the DLC. It offers a standalone story and is independent of level. You can play “Guns, Love, and Tentacles” at level 10 just as well as at level 53, as the enemies and loot scale with you.
We take a look at how the new Delirium league of the hack and slay Path of Exile (PoE) is received shortly after its launch on PC.
What does Delirium bring? The new league aims to provide players of Path of Exile with greater challenges, which will then also bring valuable rewards. This is where the new Delirium Mirrors come into play, which transform the area for one minute. Now you fight there against particularly nasty enemies.
With the new Delirium Orbs, it is possible to transform your maps into Delirium maps, which then create a very challenging area of play. And the new Cluster Gems allow you to expand the skill tree individually.
Path of Exile Delirium is well received by players.
Enthusiastic Players
How is the new league received? Shortly after Delirium launched, PoE already set a new record on Steam. The previous record was 123,462 simultaneous players in December 2018.
Now, 132,508 simultaneous players have been reported. And these are only those playing via Steam. PoE also has its own launcher. The ratings of the game on Steam have increased to 94%. This shows that Delirium is really well received.
Ares writes on Steam: “The new league is fantastic!”
jimboslice5545 says: “Aside from the occasional crash in the middle of a monster fight, Delirium is good. The league brings a new level of difficulty. Good job, developers!”
MikuruKitsune shows enthusiasm: “I haven’t had this much fun since Flashback. The only thing I don’t like about this league is that it doesn’t extend the duration in a Delirium when you are, for example, in an encounter with Alva or Jun.”

What is being criticized? Overall, Delirium is well received. However, the influx of players that has led to the new record has now caused performance issues. The servers are somewhat overloaded, which can even lead to being kicked from the game.
Ronin™ writes, for example, on Steam: “The game is poorly optimized. It stutters especially in towns and when other players appear.”
Kirk is somewhat annoyed by the performance issues: “The developers seem to have given up. Every three months they make the same mistake and strain the goodwill of their players.”
꧁Oภ?iℝe꧂ says: “The new league is terrible in terms of performance. Lags and Rubber Banding have increased significantly.”
Additionally, there are a few bugs and optimization opportunities, for example, regarding balancing. Growing pains that basically occur with every new release, but that the developers always quickly address.
Have you played the new Delirium league in Path of Exile yet? If so, what do you think about it?

On the consoles PS4 and Xbox One, players have discovered a small trick in Call of Duty: Warzone, the battle royale of CoD: Modern Warfare, which can help you save valuable time during the looting process. We explain what you need to do.
Time is important: In shooters, often fractions of a second decide whether you come out victorious in a duel or fall short against your enemy. This is also the case in Call of Duty: Warzone, the in-house battle royale mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
The less time you spend, for example, picking up loot, the better you can utilize that time – whether it’s to shoot before a potential enemy does, to hide behind cover, or to reach a strategically advantageous position in time.
In short: Looting takes time, and in the worst case, that time can cost you your virtual life. However, there is a trick that can minimize that time.
What is the trick about? By default, picking up loot in Warzone takes quite some time. You have to hold the corresponding button to pick something up. Only after a noticeable delay do you have the loot by this method.
What many do not know: By changing a setting in the options, you can reduce the time spent on looting.
How the trick works in detail:
Go to the options of Modern Warfare / Warzone.
Navigate to the controller tab and scroll down to the weapons.
Now look for the option “Use/Reload Behavior”.
You can choose between “Press to Reload” (default), “Press to Use,” and “Contextual”. Set this option to “Contextual”.
Here you can change the setting
This is what changes: This changes the standard option, where you have to press the button to reload and hold the button to use.
Now pressing will use or reload – but using takes precedence. So when you stand next to an item, actively look at it, and press the reload button, the item will be picked up and the weapon will not be reloaded. However, with this setting, you can still reload with a button press as usual.
The adjustment to the new setting is quite quick. By the latest after a few rounds, this setting should feel completely natural.
How much faster is picking up loot now? Although we did not time it, the time spent looting is noticeably reduced with this trick.
In this video, the YouTuber Scahty also shows a before-and-after comparison of both options:

In Pokémon GO, there is again a Spotlight Hour today, March 17th. This surprises many trainers, as Niantic is implementing various restrictions due to the coronavirus.
This is the Spotlight Hour: During this event, there will be significantly more Pokémon appearing everywhere for one hour. Niantic activates nearly all spawn points in the game, and you can catch as many monsters in one hour as you would normally in half a day.
The Spotlight Hour also takes place today, although Niantic has made it easier to play from home worldwide. There shouldn’t be any incentive to go outside, yet this event entices many trainers to do so.
Players surprised: Event hour despite coronavirus
Where does the information come from? The first trainers in New Zealand were able to participate in the Spotlight Hour due to the time difference. Niantic also announced on Twitter that this event takes place today.
It was also confirmed there that generally, there are more spawns this time. In the first Spotlight Hours, Onix and Spoink were the focus, and afterwards just generally more spawns.
You can expect many spawns again
How is today’s hour being received? Today there is a lot of criticism regarding the hour. On one hand, it is pointed out that no Poké Balls are available to play from home. There are supposed to be ways to get more balls for free.
Others criticize Niantic for actually luring trainers outside, despite curfews in many places. “Stop encouraging us to go outside during a pandemic!” a trainer said on Twitter.

Are there any restrictions for today’s hour? Currently, there is no information regarding that. It seems that the Spotlight Hour is running normally and there are no restrictions.
What other measures are there? Niantic is doing a lot to ensure their players don’t go outside. Here’s an overview:
Please be aware that there is currently a risk of infecting yourself and others with the coronavirus. The Federal Center for Health Education recommends staying at home as much as possible, keeping your distance from others, and avoiding large gatherings. Niantic has implemented various measures so that you can play Pokémon GO from home.

Your Twinks in WoW can more easily obtain essences for the Heart of Azeroth. We reveal all the details and how long you will still need to farm.
A few days ago, Blizzard announced that essences for the Heart of Azeroth in World of Warcraft will be much easier to obtain – at least on second characters. Although technically these are not the desired “account-wide essences”, the acquisition of essences on Twinks is significantly simplified.
The developers have now released the details of the new system, so every player can imagine how long it will take to acquire a specific essence.
What will change? The Heart of Azeroth is a problem for Twinks since they often have not unlocked strong essences. However, these make up a large part of the character’s power. To ensure that not every character has to farm old content for weeks to unlock the corresponding essences, there is now a simplified system using a new currency.
Many essences on the main? Soon your Twink will be able to obtain them easily…
How does the new system work? Starting from March 18, 2020, characters from many activities will receive a new currency called “Echoes of Ny’alotha”. With each 500 Echoes, you can go to MOTHER in the Heart Chamber and exchange them for an essence at rank 3 – at least if that essence has already been unlocked on another character.
How do you get Echoes of Ny’alotha? Echoes of Ny’alotha can be obtained from almost all current activities. You can find the exact amounts in this table:
Activity
Amount of Echoes of Ny’alotha
Major Assault (Black Empire)
125
Minor Assault (Aqir, Amathet, Mantid, Mogu)
75
Visions of N’Zoth
150 (50 for final boss, +25 per bonus area)
Emissary Quest
50
Heroic Warfront Darkshore
75
Normal/Heroic/Mythic Ny’alotha Bosses
15-25, once per week
Ny’alotha LFR Wing
25
Random Battleground (Win)
15-25
Ranked Arena (Win)
10-25 (+ additional based on PvP rating)
Ranked Battlegrounds (Win)
35 (+ additional based on PvP rating)
Weekly PvP Chest
175 – 300 (based on PvP rating)
Mythic Keystone Dungeons
3 per Keystone level
Weekly Mythic Keystone Chest
20 per highest Keystone level
Even the bosses in Ny’alotha drop Echoes that you need.
What does this mean? In plain terms, this means that depending on your playstyle, you can unlock about one essence per week and per character. If you play all types of content, you might even get two essences. While this still involves some farming and grinding, it is significantly less than before and can be completely completed in current content.
For Twink lovers and anyone who simply wants to try out a second character, good times are coming in Patch 8.3.
The fear connects both modes: In both the Trials and Warzone, reckless actions are brutally and directly punished. Dying here actually means something. I don’t want to take a dirt nap here and thus play very differently than usual – much more cautiously.
In the Trials, I feel my pulse quicken when I narrowly escape a sniper. In fractions of a second, a fateful decision must be made: do I attack the sniper after his missed shot or retreat to safety? With the wrong choice, I’m out of the game; the fight-or-flight response, as science calls it (via Wikipedia).
The same heart-racing feeling overcomes me in the Warzone. Every encounter brings forth the familiar reaction from Destiny 2 within me. If my team stands victorious after an intense house-to-house fight, I am overwhelmed by loot and happiness hormones.
The duels in the Trials and Warzone become more intense as the game progresses:
In the BR, the ring closes tighter and tighter, making me feel increasingly breathless during encounters. In the end, the arena shrinks to pea-sized, leaving no room to hide.
Every victory in the Trials brings one closer to the mythical Lighthouse. In full tension, one waits for the next match, hoping not to be overrun and to avoid a loss on the Trials ticket. Losing now means potentially having to restart the ticket completely, rendering 30 minutes of effort worthless.
Accelerating and escaping to the safe zone
The more intense the duels and the fear of failure becomes, the greater the feeling of happiness.
In the concise squads, one can easily discuss strategies and planned maneuvers, and should definitely do so. This leads us to the next commonality.
Both modes are very tactical: While you could charge into the battle guns blazing and shout loudly, this endeavor will rarely be met with success.
In the Trials and the Warzone, the focus is on tactics and well-thought-out actions. For example, it may be viable to briefly split the team and flank enemies. This makes both modes play more slowly than the normal crucible of Destiny or the multiplayer of CoD.
In the Trials, it’s all about tactics
A second chance brings hope: The fear of virtual death is a real tension builder, but another feeling connects the Warzone with the Trials: hope.
If I am eliminated in the Trials, an “Orb” remains at the place of my death. My teammates can revive me there. However, the opposing team will do everything to punish this. The joy is all the greater when the table is turned and I come back from the beyond to win the round.
In the Warzone, the team can also bring you back into the match. Even if I am completely out, my teammates can buy my respawn with found cash. Additionally, there is the Gulag. A prison where I can fight my way back into the Warzone once.
That’s why I feel surprisingly comfortable as a Destiny player in the Warzone: I was genuinely surprised at how at home I feel in the Warzone. I didn’t expect to find that special Trials feeling in a game that is actually so different.
Warzone will not replace the crucible. I think it’s great to have an alternative now. As both games also have many different approaches. In Call of Duty, everything is a bit more grounded, more “Boots on the Ground“. The approach is finally back and fits the shooter better than jetpacks and crazy abilities. In Destiny, on the other hand, I like to use many crazy abilities and can really live out my power fantasy.
But both Warzone and the Trials break with the conventional multiplayer PvP experience of their games. While I virtually never have to worry about the next encounter with an enemy Guardian in the “normal” crucible of Destiny 2, the opposite is true in the Trials. The same goes for me in the Warzone of Modern Warfare. But why?
The Trials gear is iconic in Destiny

The Trials from Destiny 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone, the Battle Royale of CoD: Modern Warfare, are very similar, says our author Philipp Hansen. But how can the quite different modes of these two shooters be compared?
Why the comparison? I am an avid player of Destiny 2, but also generally a fan of shooters. From time to time, I exchange my space magic and exotic weapons for other firearms.
This time I followed the call of Battle Royale and found myself in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, specifically in its Warzone mode (also available as a free-to-play standalone). And within a short time, I am surprised to find: Warzone evokes the same feelings in me as the recently returned Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2 – arguably the most popular PvP mode in the Destiny series. But the similarities do not stop there for me.
What makes both popular modes special? At first glance, Warzone from CoD and the Trials of Osiris from Destiny 2 do not have many similarities – except that both are currently very popular and originate from shooter games.
This is what makes the modes special:
In Warzone from CoD Modern Warfare, 150 players compete and fight for survival on a massive map. The map gradually shrinks and is filled with plenty of weapons and other loot. In the end, there can only be one winning team that has outlasted all the others.
The Trials of Osiris is a special PvP mode of Destiny 2, where two teams of three go head to head. If you defeat 7 teams in a row without losing, you gain access to the Sanctum of PvP: the Lighthouse.
In Warzone, players fight for survival and cash
At first glance, the premise does not seem very similar. A vast, abandoned war landscape is supposed to resemble the clearly defined arena battles in space?
Whether 150 or 3 opponents, the feeling is identical for me
Here’s why the Trials and Warzone feel so similar: I lose a hand cannon duel in the PvP of Destiny 2 – so what? My ghost revives me, and once again I charge at the enemy horde. Without hesitation, I slide toward the enemy with a shotgun just seconds later.
If a foe catches me off guard in the traditional multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, I find myself rapidly hammering the respawn button seconds later. Again and again, I jump right back in; death doesn’t really faze me, unless one cares about their statistics.
But why?

Even more effective is when you have a PokéStop in front of your door. Activate a Lure Module and catch over 80 Pokémon with Incense and the module.
Incense is the most important feature for playing from home
Tip 2: Open your gifts: If you catch many Pokémon from home, you also lose some Poké Balls. You can easily refill these by opening your maximum number of gifts daily. Important balls are often included there.
If you’re looking for friends, check out our MeinMMO Facebook group. There you will find plenty of friend codes to exchange.
Tip 3: Note your hourly spawns: If you’re lucky and have Pokémon in front of your door, you should note the spawn times. This way, you can enter the game every hour and at least catch the Pokémon that sit in front of your door.
Tip 4: Use the PvP League: The latest feature of Pokémon GO comes in handy, as you don’t have to go outside for the PvP League, but can comfortably battle trainers from around the world from home.
Thanks to Niantic’s measures, you no longer have to walk several kilometers for a battle set. This is temporarily suspended for the time being.
You can use the time at home to create strong teams and measure yourself against trainers worldwide.
The PvP League can be played easily from home
Tip 5: Sort your Pokémon finally: Many of you will be in the same boat as I am. The Pokémon box is full, and instead of thoroughly cleaning up, the time was preferably spent catching Pokémon.
If you are now often at home, you have enough time to sort out your collection. Check the IVs, teach the right moves, and level up some monsters.
Tip 6: Use a Lucky Egg again: Most XP now comes from friendships, but if you are currently spending time at home, you can activate a Lucky Egg again and evolve Pokémon.
If you evolve them quickly, you can easily get over 70,000 XP in half an hour. This can definitely be worth it, especially if you want to level up.
Use a Lucky Egg for evolving Pokémon
Extra Tip: Combine your tasks with the game: While you should avoid contact with other people, tasks like shopping or going to work still need to be done. Use this time to spin some PokéStops or catch some monsters. Perhaps you can also settle into a gym on the way and secure the coins for the day.
If you have to leave the house for work or shopping, you can use this time directly for Pokémon GO.
Niantic has taken numerous measures to help contain the coronavirus:

The Federal Centre for Health Education recommends staying at home as much as possible, keeping your distance from others, and avoiding gatherings of people. Niantic has implemented various measures so that you can play Pokémon GO from home.
Public life in Germany has largely come to a standstill due to the coronavirus. This also affects Pokémon GO, as experts recommend staying at home as much as possible. We show you ways to play effectively despite this.
This is the situation: Due to the coronavirus COVID-19, we are currently in the midst of a pandemic. The population in affected areas is urged to avoid close contact with other people.
This also affects Pokémon GO, as playing together in the real world without this contact is only difficult. Especially during group raids, larger gatherings of players can occur.
However, Niantic has taken measures to make playing from home easier worldwide. We show you here the most effective ways to play Pokémon GO without necessarily having direct contact with others.
How to play effectively from home
Tip 1: Use your Incense: This item is currently available once for one coin in the shop. For this, you will receive 30 of the item. It’s worth it because with Incense you can catch a lot of Pokémon without even moving.
Thanks to Niantic’s adjustments, a new Pokémon appears every minute from the Incense, and the item lasts for an hour. You can therefore catch 60 monsters per hour just with this. The 30 free Incenses bring 30 hours of fun, and you don’t even have to get off the couch.
Even more effective is when you have a PokéStop in front of your door. Activate a Lure Module and catch over 80 Pokémon with Incense and the module.

Today, on Tuesday, March 17, the Fortnite servers will be down on all platforms (PC/Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, iOS, Android). During this time, the new update 12.20 will be deployed. What’s in the new patch?
Update 10:40 AM: The update 12.20 is available. We will show you in the German patch notes what has changed.
This update will hopefully fix some bugs and bring new content.
However, before players can go on their exploration, as usual, the servers will be shut down.
Fortnite servers will be shut down – when and for how long?
Downtime starts in the morning: The downtime for update 12.20 will start earlier today. At 8:30 AM German time, you can join a new lobby for the last time. At 9:00 AM, the servers will no longer be accessible, and Fortnite will be down.
How long will the maintenance last? Based on experiences from recent weeks and months, the work should be completed by around midday at the latest.
Technical issues or other delays may extend maintenance work. If that happens, you will find out here.
When will the patch notes be available? No patch notes for the Battle Royale mode have been released in recent weeks.
However, as soon as we know what has changed in the game, we will create the German patch notes for you and publish them here on MeinMMO.
What new content does update 12.20 bring?
What new features will there be in the Battle Royale mode? The announcement from Fortnite Status did not provide any hints about what the update might bring. However, it is likely that some bugs will be fixed.
A leak was also found that suggests helicopters in Fortnite. These could now come into play with update 12.20.
What does the update bring for the “Save the World” mode? Players from the Save the World mode received a larger patch with the update 12.10. This allowed players to use cosmetic items from the Battle Royale mode.
What the new update will bring is unfortunately still unclear. However, Epic is working on a solution to allow reactive cosmetic items to be used in Save the World as well.
The developers of the open-world MMO New World have released a new Developer Diary. In the video, they showcase the combat system, which strongly resembles an action RPG. The action-packed combat is supported by a skill system for the weapons, making them the classes of the game.
New World is an open-world MMO that aims to combine both PvE and PvP. The combat system is central to both, and the developers at Amazon Game Studios have now provided more details about it.
Below you will find the Developer Diary, which covers the following topics:
The action-packed combat system that is inspired by action RPGs
The progression system, where you can invest skill points into your weapons – this makes them the classes of the game

Especially important for combat in New World is a dance of:
Dodging
Positioning
Blocking
Attacking
It is not the best gear and maximized stats that determine the outcome of the battle. Tactical positioning and understanding the moves of the opponents are just as important.
In addition, you can equip three weapons simultaneously and switch between them within seconds. This also contributes to a dynamic combat system that is also a colorful toolbox for various builds and loadouts.
The combat system thus moves more in a direction of the action RPG Dark Souls. From my own experience, I can say that combat in New World feels faster and smoother. You can read more about it in the playtest report I wrote when I attended a preview event at Amazon Game Studios for MeinMMO:
With the different skills, you can flexibly shape the use of your weapons.
Let’s take the axe as an example:
You can either focus on improving your throwing technique with the axe
or increase your melee damage with the axe.
Do you prefer to throw an axe at enemies or slash them? New World lets you choose through its weapon skill system.
Magic plays a big role
So far, we don’t know much about magic in New World. In the new video, however, we get a glimpse of what it can look like.
Anyone can cast spells in New World. Since there are no fixed character classes, any character can use magic. How strong someone becomes as a mage depends on the attribute points they invest in their character. Magic requires a lot of intelligence and focus.
There will also be magic wands in New World that can trigger powerful explosions.
The developers also discuss PvP battles and the war for territories in their Developer Diary. You can find more in the following articles:
The Destiny series is and remains my favorite game, but The Division 2 is currently the better Destiny 2 for me and has led me to wear my Agent gear more often than my Guardian outfit for the first time. Do you feel the same way – perhaps with other games?
So I currently look back on two of my favorite games: I am Sven Galitzki, shooter and Destiny author at MeinMMO, and if there is a game that will forever have a place in my heart, it is the Destiny series – including Destiny 2. However, for the first time since the beta of Destiny 1, I have significantly neglected my virtual Guardian gear in favor of another game just before the Season 10.
Because The Division 2 is celebrating a sort of “Warlords of New York” expansion and is currently captivating me with many features that I have always loved about Destiny 2. Additionally, there is something else about The Division 2 that I currently miss from Bungie. But more on that later.
Keep in mind that this is my personal opinion, which does not necessarily align with your views.
Why the slump in Destiny 2?
In short: I have experienced every high and low of the Destiny franchise, but for the first time, the content of the new season appeals to me so little that I will likely only log in sporadically during Season 10 (except for the Trials). But why?
These are the reasons:
Yes, the Trials are back and it feels cool. But it is basically the same as in Destiny 1. And not just in terms of mechanics, but also visually.
Otherwise, Season 10 offers me hardly anything to get excited about. New artifact and power level? Why? In the end, it doesn’t really matter. Even in the Trials, the power level is currently (yet?) not as crucial as initially feared.
New armor? I have already farmed my appearance and stats, and none of the new stuff really appeals to me right now.
New worthwhile weapons? Essentially, after all the buffs and nerfs, I am back to my loadout that I used a few months ago (Summit, Spider, Anarchy, or Whisper). There are no top weapons anymore; only one ritual weapon is, in my opinion, a bit too little to keep me engaged as in the past.
New activities? Essentially, for me, it is now Season 9 with Warmind setting. Unfortunately, there is no new raid or new strikes, and the old ones no longer provide me with motivation.
All of this and some other points may not apply to everyone. But I know many who feel exactly this way or at least similarly right now.
I still firmly believe in Destiny: Destiny 2 is by no means a bad game for me. And I hope and believe that it could soon look different around Destiny 2. But currently, with the Season of Worthy, I have just lost interest for the first time.
Overall, there simply isn’t enough new content in Season 10 that could motivate me to tune in regularly. At the same time, I have reached a point where the content that used to motivate me in the long term is simply no longer enjoyable.
Why The Division 2?
This is how I currently see The Division 2: It looks quite different for me at The Division 2 – even though Massive’s cover shooter is currently certainly struggling with its own issues.
While I have been a diligent Guardian and an enthusiastic Agent since The Division 1, my main focus has always been on the world of Destiny. This has changed with Title Update 8, the major Warlords expansion, and the recently launched Season 1. Currently, I am primarily an Agent.
The Division 2 now has a fantastic new open world in the heart of New York. Yes, New York was already featured in The Division 2, but the new area in Lower Manhattan is quite different from NYC in the first part and offers much new for both newcomers and veterans alike. Even though the Moon in Destiny 2 with Shadowkeep inspired nostalgic feelings – I can somehow get more excited about the new New York.
With Title Update 8, there have been many changes that have been requested by players in one form or another. Among other things, the gear system has been revamped with Gear 2.0 and the max level has been raised. Similar changes have also been seen in Destiny 2. However, in my view, it has worked much more effectively in The Division 2 and contributed more to gameplay enjoyment and long-term motivation. Many things that bothered me about The Division 2 and prevented me from fully immersing myself have been improved or resolved.
With seasons and a sort of battle pass, The Division 2 is now following the seasonal content model just like Destiny 2. However, in my view, the structure of the season and the seasonal rewards in The Division 2 motivate more than they currently do in Destiny 2. Therefore, I am currently happily replaying old content in Washington D.C.
These are just some of the numerous points, and much of it may be a matter of taste or perspective. However, no game has yet truly managed to pull me away from Destiny 2. And precisely because of these points, I am currently experiencing a sort of second spring with The Division 2 – even though I have always played it regularly (even during content droughts).
This makes The Division 2 currently better than Destiny 2 for me
Two points that make the difference for me: Ultimately, there are two points that lead me to prefer the role of Agent over my duties as a Guardian:
The current fun factor
The development of the game
The Division 2 is more fun for me: The Division 2 has recently undergone a major overhaul (similar to how Destiny 2 did with Forsaken) and currently has a lot of new content to offer with Warlords and Season 1. Therefore, the game is currently simply more fun for me.
For me, the mix of new content and the motivation to replay previous content is simply right at the moment. Because I currently enjoy revisiting old content alongside Season 1. Unfortunately, that is not the case with Destiny 2 at the moment (or anymore).
With The Division 2 I feel – The game is alive: Additionally, the work of the developers around The Division 2 has had me feeling very optimistic for some time now and currently gives me the impression that things are progressing significantly better in this game and its existing issues (even if in small steps) than in Destiny 2.
There, I currently have the feeling that the game is being run on a low flame with the minimum necessary effort. Unfortunately, I don’t notice much actual development there – rather, I’ve been feeling that the game is stagnating in my opinion or even regressing in some areas – like the ongoing development of weapons.
Even if not everything is perfect with The Division 2 after the new expansion and big update, and the game still has to improve significantly in terms of loot and balance – the second spring combined with the feeling that my journey as an Agent is being continuously and openly tinkered with and optimized gives me the feeling that I will enjoy playing as an Agent for the long term.
With Destiny 2, I have particularly lost this feeling, especially since the Forsaken expansion, and also since Shadowkeep. And even though both games fundamentally focus on similar content and now also on comparable content replenishment models with the seasons, I feel that it is currently more worthwhile to invest my time in The Division 2.
My conclusion in short: The new content in The Division 2 is coherent and fun. For me, the situation in Destiny 2 looks quite different at the moment. There is no longer a good mix of new things and motivation for old content.
Moreover, I feel that the developers of The Division 2 are working with full force on the game, pushing it forward, and improving it – exactly where players want it (albeit sometimes slowly and in multiple attempts). I just feel like: This game is alive! But that feeling unfortunately diminishes for me regarding Destiny 2.
How about you? Do you feel similarly with Destiny 2 or possibly with The Division 2 or other games? Have you also set aside your absolute favorite game for another? Or is there a game to which you remain loyal without question?
The FUT Champions Weekend League in FIFA 19 has actually been discontinued since the release of FIFA 20. However, you can still participate next weekend.FIFA players are wondering: why?
Do you still have FIFA 19 installed? Then fire up the game again for the next weekend and play a few matches in the FUT 19 Weekend League. The popular weekend tournament will be reopened once more after its official end in September 2019.
A good opportunity to bring out last year’s old endgame team again.
What happened? EA Sports has announced a reopening of the Weekend League in FIFA 19 via an in-game message in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team. The start is on March 20, 2020.
According to EA Sports, players should have a final opportunity to collect missing Weekend League successes:
“Hi FIFA Fans, we are reopening the FUT Champions Weekend League on March 20th at 8 AM. The event will take place in the well-known format and will be the last chance to collect any outstanding achievements in the Weekend League.”
Why is EA doing this? Besides the message in the game itself, EA Sports has not commented further. However, it is curious, as such a thing has never happened in any FUT installment before. Once the FUT Champions Weekend League has ended, it usually stays that way.
Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that the announcement could be a mistake.
Qualification and Rewards
How does one qualify? If you log into FUT 19, you will see that you do not need to collect points for qualification. You can register directly for the upcoming Weekend League.
What rewards will there be? Nothing is yet known about the rewards. However, it is likely that there will not be any Inform cards, as there is currently no Team of the Week in FIFA 20.
The FUT Champions Weekend League does not run flawlessly in FIFA 20 either. There have been several issues:
If you’re considering building a PC yourself or looking for a gaming PC case, you should check out this PC. Because this shark hides a real PC.And this one really stands out. We present to you one of the craziest PCs we’ve seen so far.
Who is behind the gaming PC? The modder Inony is from Thailand and built the PC for the Case Mod World Series 2019.
The Case Mod World Series is a competition by the manufacturer Coolermaster. Here, users apply with the best and most exciting cases, and the first place wins a prize of $10,000.
Where did the user get their idea? The source of inspiration for him is Horizon New Dawn, which will soon be available for PC. The previously PlayStation-exclusive game is about a post-apocalyptic future: The world is inhabited by machine beings that look like wild animals and prehistoric creatures, no longer dependent on humans. The developer took these machines as inspiration for his shark.
821 hours of work for gaming PC “Leviathan”
Of course, we don’t want to withhold the developer’s final result from you. In the embedded video, you can see the “Leviathan”.

All components for the case are created on a 3D printer
For the material, he uses PETG, a thermoplastic. Most of you probably know PETG in the form of PET bottles.
In total, Inony has produced over 400 parts, each part he had to sand down by hand with a sanding machine.
After that, he had to paint the individual parts to make them look nice.
For the eyes of the shark, he used a resin printer. Resin is a synthetic resin that hardens under UV radiation. As a result, the eyes are transparent and can be illuminated from within with LEDs.
How much performance does the PC have? Inony explained that he did not use absolute high-end performance. He elaborates in a post:
It’s probably not a high-end PC, because the hardware used was donated by my friends, but I hope you like my work. And if you like it, then I’m happy too.
In another post under the images, he explains that he is still not completely satisfied. His work is currently just a prototype, but due to the rules of the competition, he is not allowed to change certain things yet.
After the contest, Inony wants to reinforce the basic structure of the shark with iron. Unfortunately, he did not have time for that during the competition period. The later version is expected to be even stronger and more robust.
The picture shows that many parts, such as the hard drive, are quite exposed. Normally, the case primarily serves to protect sensitive components from the environment.
A player has had enough of being toxic. He sends out a call for help in the community of League of Legends and they show him important lessons.
This is the situation: On Sunday, a LoL player reached out to the community on Reddit. In the relevant subreddit for Riot’s MOBA, he explains that he himself is a very toxic player.
“I’m usually very positive when they [the teammates] make a mistake once or twice. But when they keep making the same mistake without learning, then I tilt so hard,” explains DarVux.
Tilting is referred to in LoL when a player freaks out due to actions in the game, starts trolling or insults others wildly. With a video, LoL itself explained how normal people become toxic lunatics.
DarVux’s tilt led to him being banned from chat and receiving no rewards in-game. Because in LoL, it’s a bit like Santa Claus: Only the well-behaved kids get presents.
Now he wants to learn how to act less toxic and instead react calmly and coolly when his team plays poorly. Because in the LoL community, things can often get toxic.
Here’s how players react: On the Reddit thread, there are 146 comments from players. One even gave out the Silver Award, “because you are trying to become a better person”.
We will summarize the most important tips from the comments here. If you find yourself becoming toxic quickly, take a look at the thread on Reddit to see what else might help. There are several tips that are supposed to help.
The most important tips
Turn off chat: Often mentioned is to turn off the chat. “You can’t flame if you can’t type,” explains NnjaChurch on Reddit. The player should start by muting everyone else. And if he wants to write himself, he should refrain from doing so unless it’s a “good job” or “nice.” Instead of writing, he should communicate with pings (without spamming them).
A loss is just a loss: Of course, you do your best in ranked games to rank up. But at the end of the day, a loss is just one of many. You shouldn’t take a single match too seriously.
“Some losses hurt more than others and can tilt you infinitely. But in the end, it only counts as a single loss,” writes straydgsit on Reddit.
Relax: “I used to be like you,” admits Squeal_Piggy. “Relax. Remember that you are playing for fun. At the end of the day, it’s just a game.”
He writes that it helps him to have a drink on his desk. When he tilts, he should take a sip from it to distract himself.
With these pieces of advice, things should soon get better for DarVux.
Many are eagerly awaiting the release of the Xbox Series X. Microsoft has now presented the controller and loading times of Xbox One X vs. Series X.
Where does the information come from? In a video released by Microsoft on the official Xbox channel on YouTube, the loading times of Xbox One X and Xbox Series X are presented.
In comparison, the two consoles are shown directly next to each other in the video: you can see exactly how long each system takes to start. The game is States of Decay 2, which is now available on Steam. We have embedded the video for you here:

Here are the loading times in comparison: Both systems begin the loading process simultaneously at 0:15 in the video. On the left is the Xbox One X, on the right the Xbox Series X:
The Xbox Series X has loaded the game by 0:24 and the player can move their character. At this point, the Xbox One X is still loading.
At 1:07, the Xbox One X is also done with the loading process and the player can also play.
The Xbox Series X loads States of Decay in about 10 seconds, while the Xbox One X takes about 5 times longer before the game is ready to play on screen.
What technology is behind it? Microsoft calls its new technology used in the Xbox Series X “Velocity Engine Architecture” (via Xbox.com). According to the manufacturer, it is supposed to significantly improve performance, boot, and loading times, as well as provide more stable frame rates.
The design of the Xbox Series X differs from traditional console designs.
The coronavirus is currently causing severe restrictions in sports. Some teams are therefore moving into the online world and creating lovely situations.
What has happened in sports? Due to the rampant coronavirus, many large events and even the regular club operations are currently prohibited in many places. Larger clubs from the Bundesliga, the Premier League, or the NBA are therefore moving to the internet and creating curious situations.
However, they are not just competing in the online version of their actual sport. Some clubs are also participating in other activities, such as the “Social Media” department of Bayer Leverkusen, which played “Connect Four” on Twitter against other teams.
NBA 2k20 and football simulations
What are the basketball teams doing? In America, the NBA is currently on pause. The Phoenix Suns have therefore decided to continue “playing” the season online through the game NBA2k20 and also on Twitch.
The season isn’t over yet…
We will continue to play the Suns season games on @NBA2K!
On the specially created Twitch account, up to 12,074 people watched at peak times on Saturday, March 14 (via Sullygnome). The game was played in real time against the Dallas Mavericks. Although the match was lost, the mood in the chat was still good.
How is it in football? For those who prefer watching football over basketball, they could watch the English club Watford. They ran the simulation “Football Manager 2019” to simulate the match against Leicester City.
Watford managed to secure a draw here. On Twitter, the tweet received over 11,000 likes and many funny comments, including:
@Goal_Hanger: “How many times did you have to close and restart the game until you reached at least a draw?”
@Danielpeters191: “Imagine if the FA [The Football Association] decides to finish the rest with Football Manager 2020.”
What other sports are experiencing curious things? Formula 1 is currently on pause. Therefore, the organization Veloce Esports is holding an F1 tournament that will include real Formula 1 drivers and professional gamers.
What are the “Social Media” departments doing? The currently forced break is allowing some teams to thrive on social media. Besides looking back at the past years or holding Q&As with the players, some are also engaging with current trends.
Currently, the popular game “Connect Four” is being played on Twitter. This was also done by Hull City and Bayer Leverkusen, two football clubs. The German team, however, came off worse after an exciting exchange:
Leverkusen seems to be generally very active on Twitter. A game of chess was also played, to which even the world champion Magnus Carlsen briefly commented, although it was regarding the appearance of the chessboard:
Moreover, some offline tournaments are switching to an online format. The Chinese league in League of Legends is already being conducted online instead of offline. The Overwatch League is also supposed to be held online now (via Sport1).
WoW Classic is full of absurd items. We show you the 5 strangest weapons that have ever existed in Classic.
In World of Warcraft Classic, the game is still a bit strange in many areas. But “strange” often also means “particularly interesting”. Nowhere is this clearer than with the special weapons that players can earn in WoW Classic. Some of them are so powerful or have such absurd effects that Blizzard never returned to such mechanics in later versions of the game. We show you the 5 craziest weapons that WoW Classic has to offer.
The Headmaster’s Charge can be obtained from Darkmaster Gandling in Scholomance – the last boss of a rather long dungeon. Like all weapons on this list, it has a very low drop chance but offers a unique effect.
Along with solid stats in stamina and intelligence, the weapon also has a “Use” effect. This increases the intelligence of all nearby party members by 20 for 15 minutes. Since the use effect has only a 10-minute cooldown, this staff effectively grants the whole party an additional 100 intelligence, almost permanently. This effect even stacks with other intelligence effects, like Arcane Brilliance from the mage.
Unfortunately, the staff has no bonus to spell damage, which is why many spellcasting classes will replace it relatively quickly. It’s a shame, as its effect is unique.
Place 4: Dark Edge of Insanity
Place 4 on our list is the Dark Edge of Insanity. A weapon that warriors are surely eyeing greedily, even though it drops late in the game. It takes a while, because it only drops from the Old God C’Thun, who waits at the end of the Ahn’Qiraj raid.
Although the weapon drops from a tough PvE boss and is quite useful in PvE, it shows its true strength mainly in PvP. Besides having a large amount of strength, agility and stamina, as well as a slow attack speed (which means hard hits), the weapon has another special advantage: it has a high chance to disorient the target for 3 seconds.
Especially in PvP, this provides a powerful buff. If the victim is disoriented for 3 seconds after being hit, they cannot escape during this time. However, the warrior will strike again after 3.5 seconds. So, when the weapon’s passive ability is triggered, it almost guarantees another hit on the target without the victim being able to put up much of a fight.
The Runeblade of Baron Rivendare drops – as the name suggests – from Baron Rivendare. He is the final boss of the Stratholme dungeon, at least for the undead side. The Runeblade has a fairly slow attack speed of 3.60 and no stats like strength or agility, but it has a unique equip effect: it increases movement speed and health regeneration rate.
The exact values for this are quite impressive. The regeneration rate increases by 20 hit points every 5 seconds (i.e. 4 hp/s) and is also active in combat, so it’s like a small but noticeable healing.
However, the real power comes from the second effect, as the Runeblade increases movement speed by a whopping 8%. In Classic, very few effects speed up a character’s movement. This means that in PvP, few players could escape when being chased by someone wielding the Runeblade of Baron Rivendare.
Additionally, the Runeblade looks really cool.
Place 2: Hand of Edward the Odd
The Hand of Edward the Odd is a mace for melee casters – basically paladins and shamans. It is a random drop and rarely appears in high-level dungeons and raids (like Molten Core, Scholomance, or Blackrock Spire).
Besides intelligence and willpower, it has another unique effect for Classic: The next spell within 4 seconds is turned into an instant cast. This is particularly interesting in PvP, where a paladin can turn a “Holy Light” into an instant cast without the attacker having a chance to interrupt.
Especially cool: Back before Patch 1.12 (in “Vanilla” WoW), the mace not only turned spells into instant casts but also had many other effects – including the hearthstone. This meant that paladins were attacked in PvP and, if defeated, could simply use their hearthstone instantly and disappear. No chance for the attacker to secure the kill.
The last weapon and our number 1 for crazy effects comes from Upper Blackrock Spire from General Drakkisath, the final boss of the dungeon.
The Blackblade of Shahram has the following effect on a melee hit: “Summons the Hellish Beast Spirit of Shahram.”
Strictly speaking, the translation is incorrect, as anyone who possesses the weapon knows that no hellish beast is summoned, but rather a fire whelp, as known from the Molten Core. This whelp has 6 different abilities, and one of them is randomly selected with each summoning:
Curse of Shahram: All enemies in the vicinity are slowed (-50% movement, -25% attack).
Power of Shahram: All enemies in the vicinity are stunned for 5 seconds.
Fist of Shahram: The whole group increases speed by 25% for 8 seconds.
Blessing of Shahram: The whole group receives a bonus of 50 mana and health every 5 seconds for 20 seconds.
Will of Shahram: The wielder of the sword gains +50 to all stats for 20 seconds.
Flames of Shahram: All enemies around the target are hit by a blast of flames.
All these effects were universally useful and had a positive impact. The Will of Shahram even had a chance to stack multiple times if the wielder of the sword was lucky.
Do you know any other weapons that you find particularly cool or crazy? What effects would you like to see come back in modern WoW?
