Everything ran absolutely smoothly and was – as my colleague Benedict writes in his preview report on Doom – a great fun. The controls were buttery smooth and there was no input delay neither with the controller nor with keyboard and mouse.
Everything ran as smoothly as if the game were running locally on a powerful gaming PC and not coming from a data stream from a server farm many kilometers away. That the graphics were “only” upscaled HD and not real 4K didn’t negatively affect me during all the action.
I later tested Doom on the PC via Chrome browser and even on the tablet and smartphone. Everywhere it ran excellently as long as the internet connection was stable. Only once, when the network was acting up, I had some unpleasant stutters on the smartphone.
The optimal game for Google Stadia
Why should you play Doom on Stadia? The developers apparently paid special attention to optimizing Doom Eternal for Stadia to ensure that the shooter runs well.
This makes the streaming platform particularly interesting for players who don’t have a powerful PC at home. With the Stadia version, it also works on a tablet or an old computer.
That’s why I love Doom Eternal on Stadia! I actually have a formidable gaming PC at home, but I now prefer the Stadia version more. On the one hand, because I really like to sit comfortably on the couch and play. But unfortunately, my wife and child often come into the living room and both don’t think much of violent orgies on the screen.
With Stadia, I can pause the game and continue playing on the PC next door without interrupting my progress. And more than once, a round of Doom on the tablet made my waiting time while taking care of the sleeping baby more enjoyable. The seamless transition between platforms really works exemplary with Doom on Stadia.
Therefore, I do not regret the purchase at all and hope that Stadia will get more such well-optimized titles like Doom Eternal in the future. I, for my part, am already looking forward to the evening and a hearty round of Doom on Stadia.

Where do the insights come from? With the new APK update, some new data has entered the game. The data miners from Pokeminers (via Reddit) have taken a closer look at everything and uncovered many interesting features from the code.
So it is a data leak that should be taken with caution. When and if the features go live is currently still open – but in the past, the leaks have proven to be reliable.
A new way to get coins?
This is what the leak contains: One of the most interesting points of the current leak addresses the possibility that a new type of quest could be introduced. This would be a kind of coin quest. The data miners found the following line in the code:
Earlier a data leak hinted at such a possibility. Now it appears that the signs are pointing to such a feature. “It really looks like daily coin quests,” the Pokeminers explain in their post.
What would this feature mean? Those who do not want to buy coins usually only get them by taking and subsequently defending gyms. Additionally, there is a coin limit of 50 daily coins.
If coin quests do come into the game, it would mean a new opportunity for trainers to secure coins. With this, they could buy more missing Poké Balls, take boxes with them or expand their space for Pokémon and items.
What else is included? Besides the hint at new costumes and additional quests, a new loading screen has also been found. It shows a small section of a forest and several Pokémon. This fits a bit better to the current season than the current winter theme:
A hacker claims to have the sensitive source code for the Xbox Series X. She has partially released it already. Now she wants to sell the code for 100 million dollars. If she doesn’t get the money, she already has a plan.
What’s going on? It seems that chip manufacturer AMD has been going through tough times in recent months. The graphics card for the Xbox Series X is supposed to be developed by AMD, and that’s where there allegedly was a data leak.
In a blog post on the AMD website, they write that they were contacted in December 2019 by a person claiming to have data on current and future graphics products. Some of the data has even been shared online, but it is no longer available there.
AMD is aware that the person possesses additional data that has not been publicly shared yet. The blog post states:
We believe that the stolen graphics IP [IP: Intellectual Property] is not core to our competitiveness or the security of our graphics products. We are not aware of the perpetrator possessing any other AMD IP.
We are working closely with law enforcement and other experts as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
What does the hacker say? The hacker contacted the platform TorrentFreak with a few statements. She reveals that she also possesses data from the yet-to-be-released Xbox Series X. She says:
In November 2019, she found source codes for AMD Navi graphics cards on a hacked computer
Through a few exploits, they gained access to the unprotected computer to steal the code
“The data wasn’t even properly protected or encrypted, which is sad,” says the anonymous hacker
The code for “Arden,” which is suspected to be the graphics card for the Xbox Series X, is also part of the stolen data – alongside Navi 10 and Navi 21
What is her plan with the data? She wants 100 million dollars as the purchase price for the stolen data. If she does not receive the money, she plans to “leak everything.” However, how she arrives at this high value for the data is unknown.
AMD states that the data is not of great importance for competitiveness or security. Nonetheless, they are pursuing the story. Part of the data was reportedly uploaded to GitHub and had to be removed from there at AMD’s request, according to TorrentFreak.

The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online offers you not only large expansions but also many smaller DLCs that need to be purchased additionally. We will share tricks on how to get the game content at the best price.
What kind of game content is that? ESO currently releases a major expansion every year along with 3 smaller DLCs. For 2020, this means:

How does this help with the DLCs? ESO+ allows you access to all DLCs as long as the subscription is active. When it expires, you retain all items and progress earned.
Only the access to the special dungeons, stories, and areas will expire.

How can you save here? Very active players can complete all DLC content within one or two months. This way, you experience all content for only 26 euros.
At the same time, you receive 3,300 crowns passively (also around 26 euros). Up to two DLCs can even be permanently unlocked during a sale.
2. Waiting for the right sales and bundles
What is being waited for? In ESO, there are recurring sales events where you can directly obtain the crown packages at a lower price. The last one was around the Christmas holidays.
After that, you wait for selected DLCs to be offered at a lower price as well. This often happens in certain bundles.
