At Sony, the “Play At Home” initiative is starting. This aims to help people stay at home and spend time, for example, playing games. To this end, Sony is giving away two games for the PS4.
This is “Play at Home”: In a blog post, Sony emphasizes that it takes its “responsibility as a home entertainment platform” very seriously during the current crisis. Therefore, Sony asks players to stay at home as much as possible – and wants to help with this initiative.
On the one hand, Sony is setting up a fund for independent game studios that have fallen into financial difficulties due to the crisis. On the other hand, there are two free games for all PS4 gamers.
These are the games: With Knack 2 and Journey, players can download two older games for the PS4 that are definitely worth a look. Journey is almost a kind of gaming artwork where you let your character float through beautifully designed worlds until you reach a distant mountain. The journey, which is beautifully named, is the goal.

The second title, Knack 2, is exclusively available to players in Germany and China. Outside these countries, the initiative includes “Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection,” which was last offered in January at PS Plus.
What is Knack 2? The second game is also a colorful game, but it is characterized by significantly more action. It continues the PS4 launch title Knack and puts you in the titular character with which you hop and punch through beautifully designed levels. You can change your form and learn many different combat moves – if needed, also in local multiplayer, sitting on the couch with a friend. Our colleagues from Gamepro tested Knack 2 and are consistently impressed with the game.

Fallout 76 is finally playable on Steam since the Wastelanders update. However, after the official release of the game on the platform, there were tons of bad reviews – which are slowly being outweighed shortly thereafter.
Since the Wastelanders update for Fallout 76 was implemented today, April 14, at 2:00 PM, the game is playable on Steam for the first time. PC players had to access the Bethesda.net client since release. Those who already owned the game for PC received a free Steam version.
Shortly after the Steam release, the reviews were already “mostly negative” with only 34% positive votes. That’s almost two-thirds of players who rated Fallout 76 poorly on Steam.
A similar picture emerged during the release in November 2018 on Metacritic. Fans bombarded the game with negative reviews – among other things out of frustration. However, the situation on Steam improved within a few hours.
This is how it looks on Steam right now.
Harsh criticism of Fallout 76 is improving quickly
Where does the negative criticism come from? The criticism in the reviews appears similar to the release on Metacritic. This includes many unreflective reviews, some written with only 0.1 hours of playtime and one point in order to be posted.
In the more detailed reviews, players talk about technical issues. They couldn’t play, the game would crash, or it wasn’t optimized enough for PC. There are even some players who complain that Wastelanders is not a new game at all, but just a DLC – although Bethesda communicated it from the start as a free update.
Fallout 76 also had technical difficulties during the beta and at release in 2018. Over the years, Bethesda has worked hard to resolve these issues. Nevertheless, there can still be crashes. In our gaming sessions, we couldn’t find this issue.
How does it look now? By around 6:45 PM, the reviews improved from “mostly negative” to “balanced” and increased to 41%. By 7:30 PM, they were already at 45% positive, with a rising trend. The newer reviews are a bit more frequently positive than negative.
On the shop page, Steam standardly summarizes only the reviews from players who purchased Fallout 76 through Steam. With other settings, the ratings look different:
Reviews in German and English are “mostly positive” with 72% positive reviews from 712 reviews
Across all languages and settings, there are even 1533 reviews, of which 67% are positive with the status “balanced”

Remnant: From the Ashes had a strong launch in 2019 out of nowhere and has been well received by many players. Now it is getting its first DLC. MeinMMO author Benedict Grothaus was invited by publisher Perfect World to take an early look at it.
Even before the Corona crisis reached its current magnitude, Perfect World Entertainment invited us to PAX East in Boston. There, I played Magic Legends as one of the first players and checked out the first DLC of Remnant: From the Ashes.
The DLC is titled “Swamps of Corsus” and brings several new features, as well as a completely new game mode. The new Survival Mode is the only feature that I was able to play at the event.
I played for about an hour while Level Designer Anthony Norcott answered some questions.
Remnant is a surprise hit from 2019. It was released in August and was very successful shortly after. Both players and the press praised the “Dark Souls”-like gameplay combined with a strong co-op mode. By now, Remnant has a “very good” rating on Steam with 83% positive reviews across all ratings (as of April 14).
About the Author: Benedict has been playing games for his entire life and grew up mainly with RPGs. As a role-player, his entry into other genres came later, but he has now also developed a love for shooters and survival games. Several thousand hours have been spent in classics like Gothic and Dragon Age or newer titles like Counter-Strike, Rainbow Six, and more. In this combination, it is actually surprising that he has only just discovered Remnant, as the game combines shooters with RPG elements, survival, and story.
What kind of new mode is this? The new Survival Mode is a rogue-like mode, in which I move through an endless dungeon with randomly generated areas instead of through specific levels. In the starting area, I equip myself and set out to defeat enemies and bosses.
The mode itself is independent of the story. It does not need to be completed first, nor does it provide important information. So if you want, you can dive straight into the Survival Mode.
How does it differ from the standard mode? Although the levels in the normal game are also randomly generated and the areas are virtually identical, the Survival Mode plays very differently.
The focus here is more on progress and continuous improvement. Anthony explained to me that the biggest difference is the permadeath feature. If you die in the normal game, you can start again at a checkpoint and try again.
However, if you die in Survival Mode, you lose everything and must start over, similar to the Hardcore Mode. Any equipment and progress are lost upon death, and you must start from the beginning. Meanwhile, your character evolves in Survival – you gain equipment and items while playing, and you can buy something after each boss battle.
We have embedded the trailer for the new DLC with images of new bosses, new equipment, and the enemies from the Survival Mode for you here:

In the hour I played “Swamps of Corsus” and its Survival Mode, I was immediately excited. The anticipation of a new boss waiting at the foreseeable end of a level with plenty of loot is enticing to play.
The difficulty is regulated by a timer, which makes the enemies harder after a certain period. This constantly ticking timer adds a little spice and encourages you to put in a bit more effort, especially since your own level is displayed directly below.
Remnant: From the Ashes had not really interested me before. While I like Dark Souls, with which it is often compared, I couldn’t bring myself to try Remnant.
However, with the DLC, that could definitely change, as the action-packed rounds of Survival Mode seem very entertaining. Especially for a little gaming session after work with a few friends – and that, even though rogue-likes rarely excite me.
What I particularly noticed positively is that the frustration factor is almost completely absent. Other rogue-likes annoy me when I die. In Survival Mode, that’s not the case, at least not yet. I find it easier to just restart.
Rogue-like Survival Mode brings a lot of action
The new Survival Mode is a rogue-like mode. That means: I play for as long as I can and when I die, everything is gone and I have to start over.
The process is quite simple: Equip, enter level, kill enemies, loot, and finally defeat a boss. This keeps repeating until I eventually bite the dust – and then start from the beginning.
The goal is to get as far as possible and equip the character as well as possible. After each boss battle, there is new equipment and some rewards. However, the enemies become increasingly tougher over time.
This is how the mode works: In Survival Mode, I start in a base with no more than a pistol, a backpack, and underwear – literally. At the beginning, I have nothing but a small gun and a bit of money.
There is nothing more than underwear and a small gun to start with.
Instead, there are traders in the base, who become one of the most important features of the mode. They provide me with my first weapon, armor, and accessories. Or as much as I can afford.
With each round I play and each boss I kill, the offerings that the traders have for me change. This brings several advantages or disadvantages, depending on your perspective:
If I have nothing useful at the beginning, I can restart and hope for something better to come
If I defeat a boss, I can hope for better loot to buy
If I’m short on money, my desired item may be gone the next time I visit – or I have to decide what I want to buy
Interestingly, even the strongest weapons, which in the main game require a boss to be killed, can theoretically appear in the shop right from the start in Survival Mode. This brings a whole new dynamic and new possibilities.
The purchasable equipment is random – with luck you get good top weapons, with bad luck only a leather throw.
How does it play? After I’ve equipped myself, I can start a level. My first area is a village with ramshackle wooden huts somewhere in a wasteland with strange goatmen and dogs as enemies.
I’m told that the enemies and areas I encounter are random. So any area and any type of enemy can appear, almost like in a rift in Diablo. The first level doesn’t take long – I’m dead already. It’s not that easy when you’re just starting out, and it gives me a slight flashback to my first steps in DOOM Eternal.
Nice levels and crisp gameplay
After a while in the game, I start doing better and I can check out what is to be found. Weapons, armor, and accessories in scattered chests that pump me up directly. There is even a powerful assault rifle that I immediately equip – cool!
By the way, the Survival Mode also offers all traits from the base game. However, they do not need to be learned but can be found as loot, for example in chests. They are then automatically equipped and strengthen the character, at least as long as he lives.
What does the environment look like? The area stretches for a while until I enter a second level, for which I have to step through a portal. Here I am in a kind of cave or excavation, looking like cut stone with some jungle ornaments. However, the level feels shorter than the previous one.
Eventually, I fight my way to another gate. This time behind it waits the first boss, a satyr-like spear thrower with his goat buddies to help.
The Warden is my first boss in Survival Mode.
The boss fight is pretty cool and demands more from me than the levels before, my rather limited abilities. Dodging, drinking potions, firing back, and harvesting ammunition from the trash mobs so it doesn’t run out.
After a few minutes, the fight ends – and I’m dead. A close call, but I try again. It takes some time and several attempts, but eventually, I kick the butts of my first bosses.
How high is the replay value? The levels are randomly generated and therefore there will eventually be repetitions. My rounds always followed the same scheme:
equip in the base
clean the first area while looting
go through a door into the second area until the boss
smash the boss, back to the base – start all over again
I often died, but I still had a great time and was not nearly as frustrated as I usually am with rogue-likes. The action factor and adrenaline level are simply too high. Survival Mode is a blast!
Moreover, the rounds are quite brief. My rounds all lasted roughly 15-20 minutes. It’s easy to squeeze in a few levels here and there. However, I don’t know how far progress is saved for later continuation.
For me, it felt more exciting to shoot through enemies for a quarter of an hour, loot, and finally kill a boss than to struggle through endlessly long levels.
Not hard enough? Make it harder!
The difficulty in this mode actually does not lie in the enemies themselves, but in the fact that they become increasingly tougher. Every five minutes, a timer increases and the enemies become one level harder.
The challenge is to keep your own level about at the level of the timer in order to keep up. So you not only have to continuously improve but also do so in as short a time as possible and at the same time ensure that no experience points are left behind. Simply rushing through won’t work. Your level also influences the likelihood of strong items appearing.
There are plenty of cool equipment. The mode is particularly suitable for players who want to try certain weapons without having to grind for them.
Developer Anthony tells me that he once left the game on while he did something else as a test. The timer then stood about 30 levels above him, and the first attack from a light enemy took him out.
For Survival Mode, there are also different difficulty levels. Anthony explains that the difficulty levels affect how the game is played:
You can set a difficulty here, just like in the base game. However, it works a little differently. The enemies remain about equally strong, but the timer ticks up faster. So the difficulty ramps up more quickly. In “Nightmare” mode, the timer also does not stop while you are in the base, but continues. Bosses also get a bit more health points.
Level Designer Anthony Norcott to MeinMMO
Boses, he explains to me elsewhere, are also “world bosses” every third encounter, which in the main game are considered particularly rare and tough opponents. In Survival Mode, I have to fight against them constantly if I make it that far.
The new Survival Mode offers a co-op experience, similar to the base game. However, players cannot join at any time as they could in Remnant.
Instead, you can team up at the beginning of a round, that is when you first enter a base. You then equip yourselves with the necessary items and can set off together if you want.
However, once you enter the portal, the lobby is closed. From then on, no new players can join. Leaving the group is still possible.
If someone in your group dies, they remain dead until you defeat a boss. However, this is significantly harder since enemies also become a bit more challenging with more players. If you manage it, you return to base together.
“Swamps of Corsus” play – when is it coming?
“Swamps of Corsus” releases on April 28 for PC on Steam and costs $9.99. A version for PS4 and Xbox One will also come, but at a later date.
At the launch of the DLC, Remnant: From the Ashes will be available in a discounted bundle together with Swamps of Corsus for a limited time.

Do you need new loot in Borderlands 3? Then you can try this Shift Code, which gives you 5 chances for good equipment.
This is the Shift Code: Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford shared a new Shift Code via Twitter that will give you 5 golden keys. It is:
KTKTT-HXHZK-XZFRZ-CXTJJ-XXWKK
The Shift Code is only valid for a short time. According to the tweet, you have until tomorrow, Wednesday, April 15, to redeem it. It’s best to redeem it immediately if you want to secure the free loot. However, there are also some golden keys with no expiration date.
Redeem Shift Code for Golden Keys
Here’s how to redeem the Shift Code: You have several options to redeem the code. First of all, you need a Shift account. This account can be created in Borderlands 3 to receive bonuses such as golden keys or special event cosmetics. If you have created this or already have it available, you can simply redeem it in the social menu of Borderlands 3.
Even easier is to redeem the code through the browser if you have linked your Shift account with your respective platform. Then you can simply visit the official Shift website and enter the code there. You can then easily collect the golden keys in the mail section of Borderlands 3.
On the website, you can simply enter the code under “Rewards”
What do the golden keys bring? With the golden keys, you can open the golden loot chest on Sanctuary. This can provide you with lots of strong loot if you are a bit lucky. The chest can even spit out legendary weapons from time to time.
The chest is particularly useful when you have just started a new game with one of your Vault Hunters and want good weapons to start the game. They can certainly make your way through the Borderlands a bit easier.
However, over the course of your journey, your level will eventually surpass that of the weapons. If you want the chance for weapons that correspond to the maximum level, you should wait to redeem until you reach the corresponding level in the game.

The new shooter hit Valorant is still in development and there are numerous bugs that lead to strange situations – at least we think they are bugs. A Twitch streamer and YouTuber has found a rather unfair trick with a camera.
What is this bug? YouTuber and Twitch streamer Disguised Toast posted a short clip showing how he equips a spy camera with a pistol and takes out opponents with it.
The nasty thing is that the equipped weapon (a Sheriff) can instantly kill opponents with a headshot from up to 30 meters – even with a large shield. He controls the camera and the weapon remotely; he doesn’t even have to be nearby:
In the meantime, there are numerous clips of this kind. More and more players seem to discover this unfair trick.
How does it work? MeinMMO tested this out in a practice match and can confirm: it works. The camera can then be controlled from any point on the map and the weapon can be fired. For Cypher, this might mean a short-term rise in the tier list of all agents.
Cypher is responsible for the unfair bug.
Since we are not sure if this is intended, we do not want to provide a step-by-step guide. Anyone who wants to play fair should stay away from it.
Update: As MeinMMO reader Bütler informed us, the bug is already known and will be fixed. Those who use it risk being banned.
Kills from a distance – is this intended?
That’s why it’s so unfair: Cypher himself is not really in danger while covering a point with this weapon. In Disguised Toast’s clip, he can be seen taking out two people with it. This puts attackers at an almost insurmountable disadvantage if both teams are roughly equal in strength.
Since there are no grenades, except when you play certain agents, the camera cannot really be destroyed without putting yourself in the line of fire. The highly regarded Raze could, for instance, destroy cameras around corners. Otherwise, only smoke provides a little protection.
Is this a bug? So far, there has been no clear statement as to whether this is an intended feature. However, we assume that it is a bug because the way the weapon is stuck in the wall appears unintentional.
Additionally, the trick requires specific circumstances and combinations. For instance, the weapon is only picked up when Cypher is currently controlling the camera. The weapon itself disappears along with the camera.
All of this sounds more like a bug than an intended feature, but to find out about such things, games are ultimately tested in beta. If you want to hunt for such curious “features” yourself, find out here how to take part in the beta of Valorant.

Griefers in GTA Online are flying around in “God Mode” jets. A player has now found a brilliant solution to still kill these divine enemies.
What happened? A player from GTA Online shared a clip with the community, showing how he took down a jet griefer in his God Mode vehicle. The way he managed to do it is celebrated by other players. “That’s probably the best gaming moment I’ve ever seen. I take my hat off,” writes one.
Counter against God Mode players in jets
This is what the kill looks like: In the video from BigDaddyPapaw, you can see his character falling freely from the sky at the very beginning. After a few seconds, a jet appears in front of him, which then hovers in the air. Because the jet is indestructible, BigDaddyPapaw reaches for the AP pistol and shoots the pilot’s head off.
He comments on the video, stating that he initially attacked with his Avenger and his own jet, which didn’t work. But then he struck with a special method when the griefer paused for a moment.

Here’s why it’s complicated: If you haven’t encountered a “God Mode” jet griefer yet, you might wonder why you can’t just blow their jet up. These types of griefers exploit a glitch that puts their jet into God Mode, not themselves as players.
So it’s not possible to simply shoot the plane down with a barrage of rockets. It’s a frustrating problem when such a griefer is hanging in their indestructible jet in the sky and can just blast down onto the map.
Griefers in jet fighters – a nasty combination
A player writes: “They really need to patch this God Mode jet crap. It’s so annoying when I join lobbies and can’t shoot the [jets] with explosive ammo.” (via reddit)
Now you know another method to deal with players in God Mode. If you encounter God Mode hackers on the ground, you drive them crazy with this weapon. For even though they are invulnerable, you can often shove them around.

In Pokémon GO the big Easter event with many costumed Pokémon is currently running. Our author Noah Struthoff has a problem with this: Sending these monsters takes forever!
This is the Easter event: The spawns and bonuses around the Easter event sound really strong. Until Thursday, April 16th, you have a good chance of encountering Pokémon like Chansey, Owei, and various costumed Pokémon. Additionally, rare Pokémon like Riolu are significantly more common from eggs.
The event promises a lot of fun and ultimately delivers on that promise. There is a lot to do for me, and I have already bagged quite a few shinies. However, the rude awakening always comes in the evening. There I have to send the event Pokémon one by one, and just that takes me over 20 minutes each time.
Event Pokémon are cute, but have a significant disadvantage
This is the situation with the event Pokémon: Each of the monsters currently wearing a hat or flower crown cannot be sent in bulk. Each time, you have to confirm twice that you want to send one. Currently, there are particularly many of these monsters:
Pichu with flower crown
Pikachu with flower hat
Togepi with flower crown
Eevee with flower crown
Hatsiror with flower crown
So, with almost every second Pokémon that you catch, you have the same problem: You can only send it with difficulty.
Many costumed Pokémon are waiting for you at the Easter event
This is how it goes for me: While playing, I send off all Pokémon that have less than 3 stars in the rating. There I can enter a quick search command and quickly sort them out while I’m on the go. However, the entire event Pokémon cannot be sent quickly, which is why I always send them off collectively in the evening.
In the evening, I often sit with over 100 event Pokémon that I need to send. This always takes over 20 minutes. Time that you can hardly waste more uselessly.
Why is it so hard to send event Pokémon? The reason is probably that they are something special and should not be sent by accident. Shinies and Legendary Pokémon have the exact same system when sending.
The problem is, however, that the current event Pokémon are not special at all but are sitting around every corner. It still makes some sense for the baby Pokémon because you at least had to hatch eggs for them, but for monsters like Haspiror or Pikachu, this system is simply pointless.
Pokémon GO has costumed Pokémon in many events
This find gives hope: Already a few weeks ago, data miners in the code of Pokémon GO found the following statement: “Your selection includes event Pokémon. Are you sure you want to send these?”
So it sounds like Niantic is working on a feature to include in the game that would allow you to send event Pokémon in bulk.
The find, however, dates back to March 9th. There is still no implementation. So we have to be patient.
This is how I proceed now: I have had enough with the event Pokémon by now. I just click on them now and see if it’s a shiny. If not, then I often leave them like that. I don’t want to go through the procedure of sending anymore.
The rogue-like shooter Risk of Rain 2 has a positive rating of 96% on Steam and several thousand players. What makes Risk of Rain 2 so good and what does the community say about it?
This is Risk of Rain 2: Risk of Rain 2 is a rogue-like shooter that has been in Early Access since March 28, 2019. The full release is set to occur later this year.
While there isn’t a large story in RoR2, there is a small background narrative. You crash your spaceship on an alien planet and try to escape.

In the trailer, you get a first impression of the fast-paced gameplay of the game.
This is your task in Risk of Rain 2
This is how RoR2 plays: Alone or with up to 4 players, you choose your hero and jump into the fight. Your goal is to find a teleporter in each level, activate it, and defeat a boss. As time progresses, the difficulty level steadily increases.
The difficulty level becomes so hard that it is eventually simply referred to as “Impossible” or “HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.” More and more enemies stand in your way, which should be prioritized differently depending on their type.
This is how you become tougher: With each kill, you earn gold, which you need to buy items at machines, open chests, or repair support drones. The items increase your attack values, defense, or grant you other special effects. You can acquire 75 pieces that enhance your hero for the duration of the round. The drones assist you in battle with additional damage or healing.
Choose your character wisely. Each brings different skills.
The game doesn’t have an ending, but one is planned for release. Currently, you keep fighting and switch levels using the teleporter until your hero ultimately dies at the hands of the masses of enemies.
Throughout all the mayhem, you level up your hero, complete challenges, and unlock new characters or skills for the next rounds.
The cost of Risk of Rain 2: Currently, you can purchase the title for €19.99 via Steam or for €29.99 for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Risk of Rain 2 is also part of our Top 10 MMOs and online games for under €20.
Almost 100% positive rating – the community is thrilled
Approximately 79,000 positive votes stand against only 3,000 negative votes when all reviews on Steam are considered. This is already an outstanding achievement, but why is the community celebrating Risk of Rain 2 so much?
This is why Risk of Rain 2 is so good
Risk of Rain is a sidescroller rogue-like shooter that delighted the Steam community back in 2013. Part 2 doesn’t reinvent the formula and offers much of what the first part did. The biggest innovation is the update from 2D to 3D.
Good for beginners: The easy entry is suitable for new players, the gameplay is very intuitive: run and shoot. Nevertheless, Risk of Rain 2 is not an easy game and offers a challenge for experienced players on higher difficulty levels. The many items, the different characters and their skills, as well as the various enemies, need to be mastered.
In Risk of Rain 2, there are many different enemies.
This is one of the biggest incentives: Since it is a rogue-like, every death means the end. Players want to improve with each round, and similar to titles like Dark Souls, this incentive is a significant part of the game. Each round also plays differently. While the levels are the same, the types of enemies and positions of chests and teleporters are random.
For an early access title, Risk of Rain 2 is doing very well. There are no performance drops or game-breaking bugs. New content is added regularly, and the developers listen to the community’s feedback. Adjustments to the game balance are continuously made to provide players with the smoothest gameplay experience possible.
This is what the community says
This is what the positive votes say: 96% positive votes paint a clear picture. Players appreciate the easy entry, the relaxed gameplay, and also the challenge that arises during the game. Casual and hardcore players alike will find joy here.
Steam user Steady says: “It’s crazy how an early-access game manages to run so smoothly and offer so much replay value.”
Steam user Mr.AwesomeKarateDocotor says: “The best EA title I’ve ever played. So far, I haven’t found any significant bugs, and it runs completely smoothly. Cool gameplay and extremely well-designed combat. It’s fun, fun, fun – and even more fun with friends.”
Steam user Xixiac gives a more detailed description: “Risk of Rain 2 is one of the best roguelikes I’ve ever played. The characters are great, the items are great, the levels are great, and the devs continue to work hard. However, there are some things to note: It’s hard. There’s a lot to unlock. It’s simple, but beautiful in terms of visual style.”
This is what the negative votes say: However, there are also players who do not find Risk of Rain 2 as cool. Especially the monotony that sets in over time causes boredom in the community:
This is what Steam user SmallBay writes: “I like the game. But after a few hours of amazing experiences, where I unlocked all characters and some abilities, it started to get boring.”
Other players report that multiplayer is almost unplayable without friends. One player serves as host, and when they lose interest and go offline, the game is over for everyone. Players with high ping ruin the flow of play, and in general, the multiplayer community is said to be rather toxic.
Bring a few friends along!
For whom is RoR2 suitable? The title is worth it for all rogue-like fans looking for a title that can be played well in between. Even rogue-like newcomers can take a look at Risk of Rain 2 and gradually find their way into the genre.
Those who play solo or with friends will definitely have fun with Risk of Rain 2. However, you have to expect a bit of grind and monotony, as is typical for rogue-likes.
Meanwhile, Infinity Ward has banned a massive number of cheaters in Call of Duty: Warzone. Nevertheless, a certain glitch is still causing a lot of frustration. Many players hope that the developers will fix it as soon as possible.
This is reported by Infinity Ward: Cheaters in online games are a general problem and do not spare Warzone either. Infinity Ward is quite aware of the problem and is actively addressing it.
After the developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and CoD: Warzone announced a week ago that around 50,000 cheaters in the Battle Royale have been banned, new numbers on this topic have now come out. As Infinity Ward announced on Twitter on April 13, they have now banned about 70,000 cheaters worldwide.

However commendable these measures may be to some, many still see a problem.
What is the problem? The problem lies, for some, in the fact that the measures apparently are not sufficient. While many welcome them, some also note with frustration that the exploitation of certain cheats and glitches seems to have even increased. Among them is the “Out of Bounds” glitch.
In general, cheaters and hackers are currently the biggest problem for many players and streamers in the Battle Royale mode of CoD Modern Warfare:
Although unfair means are increasingly being exploited on PC due to the possibilities, all platforms are ultimately affected by crossplay.
What about the Wall Shoot glitch? Some players are reporting on the Modern Warfare subreddit that they have been shot through walls more frequently in recent days. And from places where this is definitely not intended. The kill cams often provide evidence for this phenomenon.
With the “Out of Bounds” glitch, one can glitch into areas of the massive Battle Royale map of Warzone that are either outside the playable area of the map or inside walls and between walls of buildings.
There, cheaters can not only watch other players unseen through walls due to clipping errors but also shoot at them completely protected.
Many are taken out without even seeing where the attack came from. There is no way to counter or really respond to the unfair behavior unless one cheats oneself. As numerous kill cam recordings show, whole teams often lie in wait for unsuspecting victims and rack up massive kills.
This is what the annoying glitch looks like in action: On reddit, user Cheeky-Bean posted a clip titled “Always a nice feeling when you die to someone in a f*cking wall” and received a lot of support for it.
It is clearly visible that he was shot through the ceiling and could not see his enemy at any time. The kill cam ultimately provided clarity: It was cheaters lying in wait outside the playable area and picking people off from the walls of the building.

In the over 350 comments, other users also pointed out this problem and reported similar experiences. These seem to have increasingly escalated in recent times, according to some players.

In summary: Apparently, this glitch is being used by more and more people. After seeing how it works in some places, the method will likely be increasingly used in other places as well and thus become even more noticeable. Overall, it is not conducive to the fun of the game.
This is what players are saying: They are increasingly demanding that Infinity Ward urgently addresses this issue.
Because there are obviously no hackers at work, but only players exploiting existing bugs at numerous locations on the map and cheating their way “Out of Bound” through faulty geometry and boundaries. This is clearly a developer error, and they should solve this problem as quickly as possible.
But Infinity Ward should not forget numerous other cheats, hacks, and glitches as well. Fix your game – that is the main chorus from many Reddit posts.
What do the developers say? Officially, the developers have not yet explicitly commented on this issue regarding Warzone. It remains to be seen whether and how quickly they will respond to the growing criticism.
And what do you say? How about you? Have you also fallen victim to this annoying glitch, or do you feel that it is increasingly being used? Or can you not relate to the whole fuss about the issue?

Valorant is most fun when you play in a team with your friends. To make it work smoothly, you should add them to your friends list. But how can you add friends and what the hell is a Riot ID and its associated Tagline? We explain that here.
How can you add friends in Valorant? It is not hard to add a friend to your Valorant Beta friends list. Just go to the small “person-plus-symbol” in the bottom right of the side menu in the main menu of the game.
A box will pop up where you should enter your friend’s “Riot ID” and “Tagline.” And this is exactly where many confused players ask themselves: “What is that supposed to be?”
In the bottom right is the symbol to add friends.
How to get your Riot ID and Tagline
What are Riot ID and Tagline? It is not enough to just enter your friend’s username; you need the exact Riot ID and Tagline.
RiotID: This is a unique name that identifies you within all Riot Games. It is not necessarily identical to the username.
Tagline: This number sequence serves to further identify your account in your region.
Keep in mind that you must enter both pieces of information to add your friends.
As you can see here in the image, the name is separated by a hashtag (#). The Riot ID is the part before the hashtag, the Tagline is the number sequence afterward.
Where to find Riot ID and Tagline? If you want to find out what your Riot ID and Tagline are, you need to log into your Riot account. Use the link here to the Riot Account Homepage.
Log in and then click on the Riot ID tab. There you will find your ID. It is the name before the hashtag. The number behind the hashtag is the Tagline. You only need the number, not the symbol.
Alternatively, instead of the Tagline, you can simply enter the abbreviation of the corresponding region. For Germany and surrounding areas, that would be “EUW”, meaning Western Europe.
Is there feedback that the request has been sent? It is hidden. If you enter the information incorrectly, you will not receive direct feedback at the point where the adding takes place.
However, at least a patch has been deployed that introduced a note displayed in the chat console on the left. The “system” will then report in the chat whether you have added the corresponding person. Pay attention to this if the chat is hidden.
Or ideally, ask your friends outside of the game if they really received your friendship request.

Add friends from Riot Games like LoL and Co. – Here’s how
How to find friends from other Riot Games: It is a bit easier if you also play other games from Riot Games. If you actively play League of Legends and your friends can also be found there, you can add them more easily.
Because the friends list is also displayed under the “Other Games” tab in Valorant. Once your friends have registered for the Valorant Beta, you can then add them for Valorant with a right-click. The SKS was introduced in Season 3 through the Battle Pass for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. Learn more about the Russian rifle and which attachments and setups work really well.
What kind of weapon is this? The SKS, Samozaryadny Karabin Simonova, is a rifle produced in Russia, which was first used at the end of World War II. With Season 3, the robust and reliable rifle was newly added to the arsenal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone and is unlockable as a Battle Pass reward, alongside the powerful handgun Renetti.
The gun comes into play as a DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) and impresses with high mobility, fire rate, and is suitable for almost every distance. Check out the details of the new carbine here and how you can use it in Multiplayer and Warzone.
What are the stats like? The CoD expert and YouTuber “TheXclusiveAce” has taken a close look at the weapon and gathered the stats for us. The damage stats apply to the upper torso area and the time-to-kill (TTK) applies to normal multiplayer.
Fire rate: 328 rounds/minute
Damage up to about 50m: 57
Damage from about 50m: 54
TTK: 183 ms at 2 hits
ADS time: 284 ms
Reload time: 1.55 seconds
With grip: 1.25 seconds
The semi-automatic rifle gives you good chances for 2-shot kills at high range. Up to 50 meters, you can take down opponents with just 2 hits to the torso, and headshot hits at shorter distances can even lead to one-shot kills. You can find the detailed analysis in the video:

The best attachments, setups, and loadouts for the SKS
What should I consider when modifying? The SKS is a stable rifle, which curiously appears to wobble more when shooting than it actually does. Visually, it seems like the sight is jumping in all directions. However, the recoil pattern shows precise shots that are close together. Nevertheless, you should do something about this unusual recoil. So plan for an attachment for better aiming if you want to succeed with the weapon at longer ranges.
The rifle offers the best “time in sight” (ADS) among DMRs and can keep up with assault rifles here (AK-47 300 ms). This puts it in direct competition with the FAL, the strongest AR in Warzone, and should be played as a mobile weapon. Choose your attachments so that you increase the range, but do not overly impair the ADS time. Therefore, avoid the “22” FSS M59/66″ barrel, as it brings strong disadvantages.
Setup 1 – Close-Quarter for Multiplayer
Muzzle: Silencer (Monolith)
Barrel: 16″ FSS Para
Laser: Tactical Laser
Sight: G.I. Mini Red Dot
Stock: Cut Stock
What is this setup suitable for? “TheXclusiveAce” recommends this attachment combination and fully relies on the weapon’s mobile strengths. Although the sight and silencer slightly increase the ADS time, the laser, barrel, and adjusted stock bring it back to a decent ADS speed.
In terms of TTK and mobility, you can keep up with the assault rifles and even have a chance for one-shot hits if you score a headshot. The weapon remains effective even at longer distances.
However, the longer the distance gets, the more you will notice the lack of a recoil attachment.
Setup 2 – Sniper Loadout for Ground War & Warzone
Barrel: FTAC Landmark
Laser: Tactical Laser
Sight: VLK 3.0x Sight
Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
Ammunition: 30-round magazine
What is this setup suitable for? As another setup, “Ace” presents something for higher ranges. Here, too, he chooses attachments that only slightly worsen the ADS time and compensates for the losses caused by barrel, sight, and larger ammunition reserves with the “Tactical Laser”.
The Merc Foregrip significantly helps with control and allows for multiple precise shots in succession without major deviation. The YouTuber mentions that he prefers to play with a small optic and zoom sights are rather rarely found in his loadout. However, for greater ranges, it can be very helpful. Try the “VLK 3.0x Sight” here. Of the zoom sights, the VLK is the fastest and also allows kills at long distances – optimal for Warzone.
Pros and Cons of the SKS
Pros
Fast fire rate
Best ADS time of the DMRs at assault rifle level
Great range for 2-shot kills (MP)
One-shot kills possible with headshots (MP)
Stable alternative to the FAL (Warzone)
Cons
Unusual recoil
Must be unlocked via the Battle Pass
Outperformed by specialized weapons at long and short ranges
Single-shot fans will get their money’s worth
Who is this weapon suitable for? For all CoD soldiers who enjoy using the EBR-14 or the FAL, we have a fine treat here. The SKS comes into play as a strong single-shot weapon and can impress with its stats.
How does it help me in multiplayer? It is more mobile than the EBR and deals more damage than the FAL. So if you’ve been looking for a weapon that plays like a mix of both, now it is available.
Fans of single-shot rifles will be completely satisfied, even though unlocking with the Battle Pass may take a while for some players. The weapon only becomes available at level 31 of the total 100 Battle Pass levels.
How does it help me in Warzone? The Russian rifle could paradoxically be interesting for assault rifle fans. If you like playing with the powerful FAL, you should avoid using assault rifle ammunition and skip a second assault rifle as a secondary weapon.
Since the SKS plays very similarly, you can take the SKS instead of the FAL for long ranges and pack your favorite assault rifle as a secondary. But only if you use “Overkill” in your personal loadouts and forgo other strong perks of Warzone.

The shooter Valorant is currently in a closed beta. To participate, you need a key that you can get through Twitch drops. But how long does it take? What does Riot say, and what are players reporting?
How to get into the Valorant beta? To get into the beta, you need a validated account, which you can currently obtain only through Twitch drops. To do this, you need to watch any stream of Valorant.
Twitch drops require at least 2 hours of viewing time
This is what Riot says about the duration: In the official FAQ for the beta, Riot Games reveals that you must first cross a threshold to be qualified for Twitch drops. This threshold is about 2 hours.
After that, you have a chance for access, which is supposed to increase the more you watch. However, the advantage decreases over time:
The difference in chances between 10 and 5 hours, for example, is greater than between 20 and 15 hours.
Even with hundreds of hours, you have no guarantee that you will receive access.
Even if the chances are poorer, someone with 2 hours of viewing time can already receive access.
The Twitch drops run 24/7. Once you have surpassed the 2 hours, you can receive access even while you are offline. So you do not have to stay in front of the PC and watch Twitch constantly, nor do you have to watch multiple streams at the same time.
How many players fit into the beta? The professional CS:GO player n0thing revealed on Twitter on April 2 that Riot will distribute 25,000 beta keys via Twitch drops.

This number may now be outdated, as Riot has already revealed that they have increased their server capacity by 25% (via Twitter). Additionally, these 25,000 keys may only apply to a specific time frame.
This is what players say on MeinMMO: We already have some readers on MeinMMO who have received access, but also many who are desperately waiting:
Muchtie: “I watched for 12 hours and can now participate…. I don’t find it that special, it plays quite slowly.”
Nico in response to a comment: “I got my key late last night just before 1 AM. The game is already fun. I wish you good luck!”
tuShai: “I have now been doing this for 3 days. Hours, actively watching the stream with drops and nothing. I’m honestly a bit annoyed, because everyone, really everyone I know, has access.”
DTPN: “It’s really annoying, I have been running Twitch since April 7 (around 30 hours) and no drop for beta access […]. This random principle is annoying…”
This is what players say on reddit: On reddit, the situation seems similar to what we see on MeinMMO. In a thread from April 10, players revealed how long they watched for a key. The numbers vary significantly:
KetaPerry: “It took me around 30 hours to get a drop.”
SebiSch: “It took me 30+ hours until I got a key.”
Glacier01: “I have been watching for 50+ hours and received nothing.”
Xilthy: “50+ hours and received no drop.”
In another thread, a poll was started. Of 324 participants, 224 are still waiting for their key:
Survey on reddit about the beta. The distribution by viewing hours is relatively balanced.
How long does it take to get beta access? According to the current information, it seems sufficient if you simply watch the required 2 hours of an official streamer and then wait.
Watching more seems to bring only slight advantages, but you burn out faster. Watching multiple streams, on the other hand, brings nothing.
The Alpha of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has been running for some time now, and first players had the opportunity to fight through the new leveling process. Their conclusion: It goes surprisingly fast.
The time can be shortened further by perfecting leveling routes, experience, and useful items like XP potions. Other players are already impressed by the performance, such as batze_91 on reddit: “Pretty impressive without heirlooms or buffs.”
What does fast leveling bring? With Shadowlands, there is a level squish with level 60 as the new maximum level. From level 50 onwards, you can start with the new content and explore new features like the covenants and their abilities or Torghast, the Tower of the Damned.
A significant advantage is that new players have easier access. Currently, the high level and the time it takes for a new player to reach level 120 tends to deter newcomers. With Shadowlands, you might be able to convince friends to play together better.
However, we cannot say whether the XP rates will remain the same. Like much in the alpha, this may still undergo changes before release.
Leveling in Shadowlands – faster and more pleasant?
DesMephisto has, however, cheated a bit, as he started at level 10 instead of level 1 as is usual. He began with an allied race that has a higher starting level – at least in the alpha.
DesMephisto played a Dark Iron Dwarf, one of the new allied races from Battle for Azeroth.
New players can either choose the new leveling area Exile’s Reach or another starting area. Afterwards, there is an option to choose an expansion of WoW to reach level 50 in it. However, this is currently not possible in the alpha.
you avoid tedious grinding in dungeons or areas that do not interest you
new players have easier access and can play faster with friends
twinks reach endgame faster if you want to try a new class
For veterans with a bit more time, it makes sense with Shadowlands to level up a twink instead of spending money on a level boost. This is just one of the changes for the new expansion. If you want to learn more about the next addon, visit our collection article on Shadowlands with all the information.

The Fortnite professional Tyler “Ninja” Blevins now speaks out after the hashtag #ripfortnite trended on Twitter, and Twitch streamer SypherPK created a YouTube video explaining what Fortnite needs to change now.
No more serious rounds in normal modes: The Fortnite scene is competitive, not just in arena matches, which are designed for that. Due to skill-based matchmaking and crossplay, you always encounter opponents who can match you.
This has led to a “tournament” atmosphere even in normal rounds where players have to try very hard. Ninja wishes for a change in this.
More fun gameplay: This summarizes the previous two points. With new weapons or items and more relaxed matches where you can just have fun.
Trapping an opponent or trying out new tactics would again be possible with these changes.
More players in a round: Ninja believes that too few players are alive at the end of a round. Therefore, he suggests allowing more players to participate in a round.
Instead of 100 players, he would allow 120/125 in one round. The map is also much larger than before, so you wouldn’t have to wait so long to encounter an opponent.
Only skill-based weapons in arena: Weapons that are too powerful should only be available in normal rounds. OP weapons could easily help players achieve simpler kills.
Therefore, the professional wishes for only weapons that require skill and are not so easy to use. An example of an overpowered weapon would be the mythic weapons introduced in Season 2:
He would like to know what changes are happening in the game and for Epic to communicate with its players.
In conclusion, he says:
“This game was my life for the last two and a half years. It has been the life of many of you. I would just like to see more communication from Epic again.”
Twitch streamer SypherPK made Ninja think
What triggered Ninja’s clip? In the Twitter clip, Ninja refers to a YouTube video by his friend SypherPK, with whom he has played several times.

In the video, SypherPK speaks for the “normal” players and the competitive scene and highlights the issues.
In this detailed video, he explains:
That skill-based matchmaking is ruining the game, as you no longer get a mix of players. It’s too competitive even in normal rounds.
That the lack of communication is causing problems, especially in the competitive scene, as players can’t adapt to changes without knowing about them.
He believes that through communication, Epic could influence how players think about their game. The community would have understanding if they explained what they are currently planning.
The new Wastelanders update for Fallout 76 will be released soon. We will tell you all the important information about the big patch and what changes for you.
According to official information, the update is set to go live at 1:59 PM. However, some players report that they can start playing earlier. It’s best to check your game to see if you can start.
What does Wastelanders cost? Wastelanders will be a free update for everyone who owns the game. You don’t have to buy a DLC, just patch the game.
However, there are special Settler and Raider packages with cosmetics for those who want to adopt a new style with Wastelanders. They feature the two largest factions in Wastelanders.
The article was created in February 2020 and updated on April 14 with new information.
Depending on your platform, you will need to download updates of different sizes: PS4 and Xbox One – about 70 GB Bethesda.net launcher – about 54 GB Steam – about 68 GB
After the Preview Test: How good will Wastelanders be?
MeinMMO has already received early access and author Benedict Grothaus was able to explore Wastelanders for nearly 15 hours.
During his playthrough, he explored the beginnings of Wastelanders with a completely new character, as well as with his own high-level character and a pre-made character provided by Bethesda at level 80 to see as much as possible. You can read his conclusion here (first hint: it smells like a strong comeback!):
Since many new details have accumulated shortly before the update launches, we have gathered some of the most important information for you in summary here:

Players have already been invited several times to participate in the beta. There are currently no details about new waves of invitations. Since the release is already in April, it may be that no more testers will be invited.
How does the beta work? The beta is also a test for the new PTS (Public Test Server), with which new patches will be tested by the community before their release. You will play a preview version of Wastelanders and test it.
Not only the NPCs, but you should also help with Wastelanders.
The goal is to find as many bugs as possible and suggest improvements. Accordingly, you will not see a “finished” product but can help prepare it for release. Progress will be deleted at the time of the Wastelanders release.
NPCs, Quests, and More Story
This changes with Wastelanders: The update will completely overhaul Fallout 76. It will be similar to the single-player predecessors Fallout 4 or Fallout 3. The fact that Fallout 76 did not include this was a major criticism from fans shortly after release.
Quests, with which you can farm reputation with the factions like in an MMO
New weapons and enemies
More story that continues with a main questline, explaining what has happened since the “end” of Fallout 76
The NPCs are all fully voiced, and you will receive dialogue options. Bethesda has even gone a bit overboard in this part.
Some of the dialogues will be influenced by your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. values. So it could finally be worthwhile to play with Charisma, even if you are not in a team. This value was previously considered largely useless.
The new characters enrich the world by distributing quests, interacting with the player, and generally providing more atmosphere. They bring Appalachia to life, as players previously couldn’t.
This is what’s next: Already in September 2019, Bethesda announced a roadmap for 2020. In it, the developers revealed several new features that Fallout 76 is supposed to receive. Among them are:
The hardware manufacturer Razer has now developed cool headphones for all Pokémon fans that you can even charge in the Pokéball. This way you can walk around just like Ash with a Pokéball.
Here are the headphones: Razer presents the bright yellow in-ears that can be plugged into a Pokéball for charging. They are set to be available from April 16 for a price of about 120$. However, they will initially only be released in China.
The headphones are clearly aimed at Pokémon fans, as they feature a Pikachu. The Pokéball for charging is, of course, even more clearly associated with Pokémon.
In-Ears are ideal for Pokémon fans
This is how it works: You can pair the headphones with your device via Bluetooth and then listen to music wirelessly. When the headphones are empty, you open your Pokéball and put your headphones inside.
So you can be on the go with a Pokéball like Ash in the anime. You will have only headphones in the ball and no Pokémon.
What is behind the Pokémon idea? This is not the first time that Razer has released hardware in collaboration with Pokémon. Recently, in 2019, there was a similar collaboration. The hardware manufacturer released a keyboard, a mouse, and a mousepad, all styled in Pikachu and bright yellow.
Now there is again a yellow product from Razer that references Pikachu.
Here is a similar Pokéball: Fans of the smartphone game Pokémon GO already know a similar Pokéball. You can get the Pokéball Plus. This device looks like a real Pokéball and catches Pokémon for you at the push of a button.
On Steam, you can discover a lot of games, but not all of them get the attention they deserve. Therefore, we present to you six Steam games that have really good ratings but are hardly played.
When selecting these titles, we made sure that the player counts, according to Steamcharts, are under 500 concurrent players, while the ratings are both generally and in the past 30 days in the positive range.
In addition, we chose online games from various genres to bring a bit of variety to the list.

6 – Tannenberg
Developer: M2H | Genre: Online Shooter | Release: February 13, 2019 | Business Model: Buy2Play | Website: Tannenberg on Steam
In Tannenberg, you experience the battles of World War I in large-scale battles for up to 64 players.
What is Tannenberg? Tannenberg takes you to the Eastern Front of World War I. Here, 64 players fight for control of strategic positions on the battlefield. Six large maps, over 50 weapons, and bots that fill the player count are included. The online shooter focuses on tactics and team play and aims to create a most authentic atmosphere of World War I.
What do the ratings look like? Tannenberg is quite well received by players. The ratings for the past 30 days are at 93% and therefore very positive. The overall rating is 85%.
Besides the graphics, the focus on tactical yet action-packed ground battles without unnecessary frills like airstrikes or futuristic methods of warfare is praised. However, updates are released relatively rarely, and the community is quite small, making it difficult to find enough players for large battles.
Pro
Good graphics
Captivating atmosphere
Fast yet tactical battles
Contra
Too few players for large-scale battles
Updates are released relatively rarely
What’s the situation with the player numbers? On average, in the past 30 days, according to Steamcharts, 90 players were playing concurrently. The peak was 254 concurrent players. That is very low for an online shooter that relies on large-scale battles.
Who is Tannenberg suitable for? The online shooter is interesting for everyone who wants to experience classic shooter battles that focus on the essentials, namely ground battles. Moreover, the game creates a very good atmosphere of the fights in World War I.

I have played so many video games. I nailed it perfectly right away.
FFVII brings tears: That the connection is indeed close was also evident in the reaction during the livestream. However, Briana was not the only one who showed a very emotional reaction to the FFVII remake.

Keep in mind: The information is not officially confirmed and should be taken with a healthy dose of caution and skepticism. Additionally, some potential spoilers may await you. Therefore – continue reading at your own risk.
The leak reveals about year 4 of Destiny 2
This is why Destiny 2 is allegedly running on low flame according to the leak: Alongside new content, the leak addresses right at the beginning why it is currently dragging with new content for Destiny 2 and even the biggest streamer is taking a break.
New content from Season 10 – The Trials
Only a small team is said to be working on Destiny 2. The rest is occupied with the upcoming major fall expansion for Destiny 2 and with Bungie’s new IP “Matter”, according to the leak.
This is what the leak says aboutthe next expansion: According to the leak, this major fall expansion is called “The Collapse” and is expected to be similar in scope to the Forsaken expansion from 2018.
It has supposedly been in development for some time (about 2 years) and was originally planned as part of Destiny 3. However, the plan was reportedly changed midway, and it will now be released as a new add-on for Destiny 2.
An official reveal is expected according to the leak in June 2020.
The Ships of Darkness
The following contents are allegedly coming according to the leak: Alleged details include new content such as enemies, activities, or subclasses. Here are the highlights:
The story is supposed to revolve around the arrival of the mysterious Pyramid ships and serve as a transition to Destiny 3.
Cabals’ Emperor Calus, the Queen of the Awoken Mara Sov, and Eris Morn from the Shadowkeep expansion are all supposed to play significant roles in “The Collapse”.
Finally, Darkness is supposed to be the direct main enemy of the Guardians – something many have been waiting for 6 years.
An interesting character (likely the leader) is supposed to be a mysterious woman with a ghostly appearance – The Winnower. She is said to resemble the distinctive statue inside the Pyramid ship on the moon.
Concept Art of Darkness – The large statues can also be found in the ship on the moon
They are to be some kind of astro-demons with earth golem-like appearance – the true servants of Darkness. They are said to possess more troops than all other races combined and have a drastic influence on their surroundings and the abilities of the Guardians.
For instance, they should be able to suppress light-based abilities or completely negate gravity in their immediate vicinity (according to the leak from AnonTheNine).
The focus of the new expansion is to lie on two new locations: Europa, a moon of Jupiter, and Finality, a massive city inside the main Pyramid of the Winnower. This was previously seen in concept art for Destiny 2.

Additionally, new darkness abilities for the Guardians are supposed to be introduced with this. Each Guardian class is to receive new Darkness subclasses (so they can no longer rely solely on Light).
The “Collapse” expansion is supposed to introduce a new raid that takes place deep within the territory of the Winnower, in the heart of the Finality city. There, players are supposed to destroy the physical form of Darkness.
New strikes are also expected to be introduced with the next expansion.
What is the validity of the new leak?
What is the truth behind the new leak? This is being actively debated in the community, as the leak has become a hot topic lately – whether on Reddit, YouTube, or social media. Opinions on this matter vary significantly.
On the other hand, numerous details from the new leak overlap with things that people have already heard in other leaks from AnonTheNine – even though those were about Destiny 3. This leaker is no longer active but had accurately predicted many things regarding Destiny 2: Forsaken and the subsequent period.
The information regarding the low flame operation also sounds far from unreasonable.
Overall, this gives at least some Guardians a plausible overall picture that fits the current situation and past rumors. Moreover, Sweatcicle himself commented on this in his tweet: “Sounds plausible. If true, that sounds pretty good.”

This goes against the leak: On one hand, it is the original source. This source is anonymous and also stems from the 4chan platform, which is not necessarily considered the most reliable source of information, as a lot of nonsense is often posted there. For this reason, many consider this new leak nonsense.
Furthermore, nearly all information, except for the reveal date and the raid, comes from other leaks. The whole thing doesn’t really deliver any new substance and could simply have been reused due to the approaching Darkness, according to some players.
Additionally, the most famous data miner (and leaker) of Destiny 2, Ginsor, has already commented on this leak and replied to Sweatcicle’s tweet with a dry “No.” Though he admits he doesn’t know for sure, he feels the leak doesn’t seem “legit.”
The only image of Matter, Bungie’s new IP
In general, many doubt that Bungie could handle a project of such magnitude on its own – especially alongside a new IP.
The community is thus still divided on all this, and it remains exciting to see if the leak ultimately holds true. Furthermore, Bungie has not really revealed how things will continue with Destiny 2. It is known that they will continue to focus on the seasonal content model. But by June at the latest, we will likely know. Then, according to the leak, “The Collapse” is to be officially revealed.
In short: Whether year 4 of Destiny 2 will actually look like this remains uncertain. It is plausible, but many (the perceived majority) doubt it. In June, we will first be able to see if the leak lives up to its promises.
What do you think? Is there any truth to the leak, or do you consider it nonsense?Would you be happy if Destiny 2 continued like this in the fall?
