Sony has heavily revamped its user interface on the PS5. Included is an expanded profile that finally shows you how many hours you’ve played within the PlayStation Networks.
Sony has now shown the interface of the PS5. This was referred to by Sony as the “next generation user experience” and is intended to make your gaming experience on the PS5 more entertaining, personal, and social.
This also fits another feature that you can utilize on the PlayStation 5. With the new system, there is also an improved and expanded player profile.
This shows you, for example, how many hours you have spent in individual games – even on the PS4.
Previously, it wasn’t so easy to have your playtime displayed. Anyone who wanted to find out their playtime on the PS4 had to take a detour through other programs or solutions. However, this should now be a thing of the past with the expanded profile of the PlayStation 5.
What is displayed at all? The new feature shows:
When you last played the game
How many hours you have played in total.
This is what a player profile looks like on the PS5, as shown by the colleagues at GameSpot (Image via GameSpot)
What is particularly cool about it? The playtime is not counted only when you start playing on the PlayStation 5. Because your profile on the PS5 also shows you how many hours of your life you’ve already spent gaming on the PlayStation 4. Then you’ll finally know how many hundreds of hours Destiny 2 you’ve played in recent years – whether you want to or not.
PS5/PS4: Players Take Playtime in Humor
In the PS5 subreddit, users discussed the new profile function. And many are taking the whole thing with humor. Users write:
CBrown14 writes: “In my opinion, some stones should better not be turned over.”
Zdheis is happy but also wonders: “These are great news! Especially since it shows the PS4 times, which we know Sony has been keeping track of all this time. Just a bit strange why this information is not accessible on a PS4 as well.”
And another one says: “Great news?? Please don’t tell my wife about this feature.”
What do you think of the feature? Are you happy that you will finally be able to see your playtimes soon? Which game have you played the most?
On the hard drive of the Xbox Series S, there are only 364 GB available for games. However, the small installation size of some Microsoft games shows that this is not so bad.
Especially for a next-gen console, this seems quite underwhelming. After all, the Xbox Series X comes with 802 GB of free storage for games. A developer said that even 1 TB is far too little for next-gen. But some issues are being addressed by games with optimized installation sizes.
Moreover, Microsoft has also commented on the storage space and describes what type of player the console is meant for.
How big are games on the Series S compared to Series X?
On Twitter, the account “Xbox News” showed games that received a storage optimization on the Xbox Series S. There are three games, Sea of Thieves, Dirt 5, and Gears 5, compared to the storage space they would use on the Series X.
Sea of Thieves is 64% smaller on the Series S than on the Series X (17 GB vs 47 GB)
Dirt 5 is 23% smaller on the Series S (56 GB vs 72.5 GB)
Gears 5 is 39% smaller on the Series S (39 GB vs 64 GB)
What is the Team of the Week? Every week, EA Sports assembles a new TOTW. This team consists of 23 players who have shown outstanding performances during the last football weekend.
For this, they receive a spot in the Team of the Week, along with improved Inform cards, which can then be found in packs for a week.
What are TOTW Predictions? Every week, the FUT community speculates about the next Team of the Week. The performances of the players are closely monitored, and predictions are made.
The completed predictions provide a good overview of what the official TOTW could look like. However, they are not a guarantee.
However, the predictions can be wonderfully used to earn some coins in FUT 21. Here we reveal how that works:
These players from the Bundesliga could be included:
Leroy Sané: Whether the German national player will actually be in the next TOTW remains to be seen. What is certain, however, is that he scored the decisive goal in a fiercely contested match against Borussia Dortmund.
A TOTW card seems to be within reach. This should especially please owners of his OTW card.
This is what Sané’s first Inform card could look like
Ibrahima Konaté: The French center-back from RB Leipzig had a strong game and even contributed a goal to Leipzig’s 3-0 victory over SC Freiburg. A TOTW card seems possible.
When does TOTW 7 come out? The Team of the Week 2 will be released on Wednesday, November 11, at 7:00 PM in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.
Players on PS4 can now download the new Update 3.0.0.1 for Destiny 2 already. But when does the preload start on Xbox One and PC? Here are all the important times.
What is the new update about? On Tuesday, November 10, it will finally happen: Destiny 2 opens a new chapter and begins its 4th year. However, before that, you need to download the new Update 3.0.0.1. This patch will introduce the new expansion Beyond Light and kick off Season 12.
Everything you need to know about the preload of Update 3.0.0.1 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC
To reduce the load on the servers or to distribute it better, Bungie offers a preload for the patch. The times depend on the platform. The first players can already download this update now.
The wait for the DLC is almost over
Preload on PlayStation
When does it start? On PS4, randomly selected PS Plus users have been able to download the update in advance since 5:00 AM on November 8. Since 5:00 AM on November 9, all other PlayStation players can preload the new patch. The update on PlayStation is labeled version 2.02.
Please note: If the preload does not start automatically, navigate to Destiny 2, press the Options button on the controller, and then select “Check for updates”.
Moreover, Bungie recommends not deleting your current installation to speed up the preload process – even if it is large. The update will not be installed immediately after the preload – only on November 10 at 5:00 AM. You can still play Destiny 2 after the preload. After all, there is still an ending event for Season 11 before Beyond Light and the extended server downtime.
How big is the download? According to the MeinMMO editorial team, the download weighed nearly 60 GB. You will need 171.68 GB of free space on your hard drive for the installation. After that, Destiny 2 should only occupy 70.78 GB on the hard drive.
If you have somehow already received a PS5, then the game will also require 70.78 GB of free space there after Update 3.0.0.1.
When does it start? The preload on Xbox will be available shortly after 4:00 AM on November 10 – just after Destiny 2 goes offline for maintenance on November 10.
How big is the download? This is not exactly known yet. However, on Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, Destiny 2 should be 65.7 GB after the update.
Preload on PC
When does it start? On PC, the preload will also be activated shortly after 4:00 AM on November 10, just after Destiny 2 goes offline. Update 3.0.0.1 should automatically enter the Steam download queue as soon as the preload becomes available.
How big is the download? The exact download size is not yet known and will be updated soon. However, on PC, you will need up to 186.2 GB of free space for the installation (depending on the selected language). Afterwards, the game should occupy at most 69.7 GB.
Demon hunters can rub their hands in Hearthstone . They are getting really crazy cards that will drive players insane.
The next expansion of Hearthstone is the Darkmoon Madness and it brings 135 crazy cards. More and more newcomers will be revealed over time, and it already seems that demon hunters will likely be among the major winners of this expansion. Because the blindfolded ones will become even more powerful in what they already do well.
Il’gynoth is likely to be really strong. This 4-mana minion has stats of 2/6 and also has lifesteal. However, his effect makes him really powerful. As long as Il’gynoth is in play, his owner’s lifesteal is converted into direct damage to the enemy hero. This applies not only to lifesteal that the demon hunter inflicts himself – such as through a weapon – but also to lifesteal on minions.
When a minion with lifesteal attacks another minion, the enemy hero also takes damage. However, there is no healing from the lifesteal.
Another excellent card is the Blade Artist. This is a demon for 6 mana with stats of 6/6 and rush. However, its cost is reduced by 1 if the demon hunter has 6 attack or more. This is often the case when the hero is carrying a weapon and then further increases their attack with a spell and the hero’s ability.
The spell Disposable Artists also causes a stir. For 7 mana, the demon hunter summons 7 minions with 1/1 and rush. If all 7 minions die within this turn, 7 more are summoned. Players are already dreaming up crazy combos, such as with Naga of the Hateclaw. This way, you could summon the Disposable Artists, sacrifice one of them, and then play the Naga to deal 3 damage to a random enemy up to 13 times. After that, there probably won’t be anything left on the board in most cases.
Already now, demon hunters seem to be the big winners of the Darkmoon Madness expansion. So far, just over 40 of the 135 cards have been revealed …
For many players, the new Duels mode is likely to be the highlight of the expansion.
More new cards for all classes
New cards have also been revealed for other classes – there is actually something for all classes. Mages can draw 3 cards with the secret Fairground Fraud if they take no damage for one turn.
Paladins will be further encouraged with the High Exarch Yrel to create “pure” decks to get a powerful minion with rush, lifesteal, taunt, and divine shield.
Warlocks receive a new powerful area spell with the Fire Spitter at 4 mana to keep the board clean in the early turns.
Marvel’s Avengers could have been a great success for Square Enix. But the reality looks different. In the quarterly report, the company talked about the game, which clearly fell short of expectations. However, Square Enix remains optimistic.
What does the publisher say? In the latest earnings call, Square Enix discussed the events and revenues between July 1 and September 30, 2020. This period coincided with the release of Marvel’s Avengers.
However, the action game significantly underperformed, as David Gibbson, an analyst for the Japanese market, stated:
Square Enix incurred a loss of 6.5 trillion yen (approximately 63 million dollars), primarily driven by Marvel’s Avengers.
The game reportedly cost between 170 and 190 million dollars in development and marketing.
Ultimately, it is believed to have sold only about 3 million copies by September 30. According to Gibson, this was only about 60% of what Square Enix had projected.
However, as seen in the quarterly report, the numbers are still positive compared to the previous year. Furthermore, Square Enix seems to believe that they can recover from the losses.

Spider-Man is the most important character in the Marvel universe for many, but he will only appear on Sony consoles.
How did it perform after release? After the release, things initially looked better. There were adjustments to the controls and combat. However, the game still has 3 major issues: bugs, lack of content, and loot.
It is already known that more heroes like Hawkeye and indeed Spider-Man are planned for Sony consoles, as well as versions for the next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, when they will be released is not known.
Anthem and Marvel’s Avengers struggle with similar issues. BioWare has already announced major changes.
Just like Marvel’s Avengers, the game Anthem struggled with significant and very similar issues after its release. BioWare has already promised major adjustments, a kind of Anthem 2.0. However, the latest information sounds somewhat sobering:
In World of Warcraft, bots are still a problem. A video shows how effectively they farm and the crazy amounts of gold they generate.
No matter if it’s in the current retail version of WoW or WoW: Classic, bots are a problem everywhere. They disrupt the server economy and take over entire areas. This has now also been shown by the Reddit user tehSunn, who found a particularly crowded spot. Here, the bots earn so much gold that their usage has already paid off after just 7 hours.
What can be seen? In the video, the area Gorgrond is shown, the reddish swamp near the Heart of the Swarm. Here, there are mainly enemy types like the Fungus Stalker and Mushroom-Covered Glutton. Several dozen druids run back and forth as moonkins on fixed paths, killing the enemies in fractions of a second with instant spells and looting them afterwards.
If you cannot see the embedded video, click on the Reddit post to view it directly in the WoW subreddit.
What is so effective about this spot? The shown area in Gorgrond has a peculiarity found in certain places in the game. There is what’s called a “hyper-spawn” – these are areas where enemies respawn particularly quickly when too many are defeated. If about 8 out of 10 enemies in the area are killed, WoW immediately makes the first defeated enemy reappear, so there are always a few foes present. The normal respawn time of a few minutes is circumvented here.
Such hyper-spawns mainly occur in places where many players are expected, who need to go there for quest lines. To ensure no one has to wait forever for respawns and is slowed down, enemies reappear after just a few seconds. This is something bot farmers take advantage of here. With enough druids, this creates an endless stream of enemies.
Blizzard can hardly keep up with banning.
What do the druids farm there? Many enemies in WoW drop gray items upon death. In the past, these were often useless weapons; in recent expansions, they are mostly thematically appropriate objects that logically fit with the creatures. Animals drop items like fangs, which sell for several gold pieces. The two “Glutton” mobs drop gray items like “Skeletal Poison Gland”, each worth about 6 gold – many drop even 4-5 of them simultaneously. And that’s just one of several possible gold-producing items.
Additionally, there are green and blue items like equipment that can simply be sold for the raw gold price at the vendor.
If you’re interested in more about WoW, you might find this appealing:
Millions of gold per month: All this brings a bot around 30,000 gold in an hour, allowing it to earn the price of a WoW token after about 7-8 hours – equivalent to the monthly costs of a subscription. Everything earned after these 7-8 hours is “profit” that the botter sells.
A few numbers to understand the scope:
If a bot druid farms for a full day, it has already earned 720,000 gold.
After a week, it has already earned over 5,000,000 gold.
If it runs for a whole month, that adds up to over 22,000,000 gold.
These amounts are then multiplied by the number of active bots that a botter has. If a botter has 5 accounts running simultaneously, they earn well over 100 million gold a month.
The botters smell the big gold – and seize it.
Since many gold farmers make a living from it, they try to evade automatic detection by Blizzard by any means possible. Therefore, it can often take days, weeks, or even months before developers notice new bots. By then, such a bot account has already paid for itself multiple times and generated some illegal profits.
On Tuesday, November 10, the new expansion Beyond Light for Destiny 2 will be released. However, the shooter is also facing criticism. We at MeinMMO would like to know if you will buy Beyond Light or if you will wait for now?
The new element Stasis strongly influences the 3 existing classes.
However, the expansion is more than just a major content update. The 2019 expansion Shadowkeep disappointed many fans, despite the fact that Bungie had finally parted ways with “evil Activision”. There have been ongoing discussions about a lack of content in the following seasons.
Will you buy Beyond Light? We at MeinMMO would like to gauge the mood of the Destiny 2 community. What do you think about Beyond Light? Will you buy it? And if not, what is holding you back? Feel free to discuss in the comments!

Pokémon GO has been around for over 4 years and the game has continuously evolved and introduced new features. Here we show you the 10 most important features that Pokémon GO has received since the release on MeinMMO.
In summer 2016, almost every gamer had Pokémon GO on their phone, even if only for a short time. It was a new gaming experience to discover Pokémon in the real world and catch them all. However, a lot has changed since then. When comparing the version of Pokémon GO from 2016 with the current version, one can speak of a new gaming experience.
Here we show you 10 features that Pokémon GO has received over the past 4 years, which have probably changed the gaming experience the most and are now essential.
This is a personal list of the author, which may look a bit different depending on each trainer’s perspective.
The order in which we have listed the features does not represent a ranking.
Shortly after the introduction of Raids, Legendary Pokémon were included. You could find Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres in level 5 Raids. If you defeated them, they were catchable.
Why is this feature so important? Nowadays, it would be unthinkable for Pokémon GO without Raids. This feature revitalized the community after it had somewhat slowed down over the winter after the hype in summer 2016.
This transformed the AR game, which could be played alone, into a game that required multiple players. Many Raids can only be completed with several trainers.
It is hard to imagine that there would be such large communities in regions and cities today if trainers had not been brought together through Raids back then.
Especially the legendary Raids led to the formation of groups. The Pokémon are very strong and when you look at the best attackers of each type , you will find almost always Legendary Pokémon there. Without this introduction, players would certainly have a significantly weaker team.
2. Remote Raids and Playing from Home
What is this feature?Remote Raids were introduced in summer 2020. With this feature, you can casually participate in Raids from your sofa. A player merely needs to see the gym in their vicinity. They can then click on it and invite up to 5 friends. However, these can participate from anywhere in the world.
Why is this feature so important? The Remote Raids came at the right time. In the midst of the Corona crisis, trainers could stay relaxed at home and still complete Raids.
Especially for players from villages, Remote Raids are a true blessing. They no longer need to see a gym and can still actively participate in Raids. This has lifted Raids to a new level because trainers can now technically complete an infinite number of Raids – provided they have enough friends to invite.
The Raid passes for Remote Raids are sometimes given as gifts from Niantic. Those who want to do many of them must purchase them in the shop for PokéCoins.
Why is this feature so important? This feature has further strengthened the community aspect of Pokémon GO. You can see the progress your friends make in the game and reward them with gifts.
Gifts also bring a lot of items. Especially players who live in places with few PokéStops can get useful things like balls or potions through gifts.
Additionally, trainers can now level up much faster thanks to the friends feature. Through the friendship level, they receive as much XP as they do nowhere else. The path to level 40 has become easier.
4. Trading Pokémon
What is this feature? Together with the friends feature, the trading function came to Pokémon GO in summer 2018. Since then, you can trade Pokémon with each other. Both trainers need to pay Stardust and receive each other’s Pokémon.
Why is this feature so important? Through trading, trainers were able to complete their Pokédex more easily. Regional Pokémon that friends brought back from vacations could be secured without leaving the country or traveling.
As GameStop and other retailers have announced, you will soon be able to pre-order the PS5 again or “reserve” a console. However, you probably won’t have it in your hands on release day.
What has been announced? As GameStop revealed in a press release, they plan to offer “reservations” for the PS5 starting November 19. However, this date is also the release day of the console.
The press release already indicates that you will not receive the console directly with the reservation. Instead, it mentions the “following weeks”:
PS5 fans, pay attention! We are mega happy to announce today that starting November 19, you can reserve more highly sought-after PlayStation 5 on www.gamestop.de. You will have it in your hands in the following weeks.
Press release from GameStop
Other retailers are taking a similar approach. As the retailer Medimax revealed, they will start taking new online orders for the PS5 on November 19.
Can you still pre-order the PS5? Currently, there is no way to pre-order the PS5 anymore. On the contrary, emails from Saturn, MediaMarkt, or even Amazon repeatedly indicate that the delivery of new consoles might be delayed. It seems to make no difference when you placed your order.
A third wave of pre-orders before November 19 is therefore virtually impossible.
Anyone who still wants to get a PlayStation 5 will probably have to wait until after the release.
However, it is not only Sony that is struggling with pre-orders. The situation for the Xbox Series X is not any better. While the smaller console, the Series S, is still available in some offers, the larger console is also sold out everywhere.
If you haven’t been able to pre-order a console yet and may still be undecided, we would like to help you make the decision:
Some days are just stressful and unpleasant. Nothing seems to go right, and you feel down. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. Read here how MeinMMO author Jürgen Horn found great happiness after a stressful day in Apex Legends‘ new Season 7.
So I was counting the days until the launch. But that day was not fun due to work. Fortunately, Apex was able to save it in the end!
Season 7 has a lot of new content!
A bad day gets better
The lousy Thursday: November 5th, the release day, started badly for me. I got out of bed poorly and there was the usual drama in the morning until my little son was taken care of and at daycare.
After that, I went straight to work where I had to create a guide to ESO and the new solo arena. Since I personally dislike solo arenas, it was a tiring and time-consuming task.
I was quite sluggish until the end of the day and just wanted to have some peace. But usually, that’s when my son wakes up from his nap, and I help my wife take care of the child.
The child is much bigger now, but still needs a lot of attention.
But somehow my wife must have seen that I was really stressed, and she said, “If you want, go ahead and rest a bit, I can manage alone.” I didn’t need to be told twice and started Apex Legends right away!
This is how Season 7 began for me: The first weeks of Season 7 were only about the new map Olympus, and I was eager to explore the new area. Especially the huge mountain in the middle of the floating city, which houses a turbine, was my first drop spot.
But unfortunately, I misjudged my jump and landed not in the turbine housing, but on the slope around it. There, my teammates and I helplessly slid down, and at some point, there was suddenly no ground beneath our feet! Did I already mention that Olympus floats hundreds of meters above the planet? Now you know!
Yes, the miserable city flies and you can fall!
The second attempt: But this first failure did not discourage me, and I immediately started a new session. It went surprisingly well. We quickly found good weapons, and in a access tunnel to a kind of residential area, we met enemies.
They were playing somewhat timidly and hunkered down at the end of the tunnel, but one wanted to know and ran straight into our fire. My first kill in Season 7! Gradually, more enemies joined in, and it turned into an epic mess.
However, the opponents were somehow not what I was used to from Season 6. There, the enemies were usually superior, and as a casual player, I often had the disadvantage. Really good rounds in Apex Legends are more the exception for me. Here, however, the opponents seemed to be a bit clueless. It seems they didn’t know how the game actually works.
Just like Mirage here, some newcomers had it rough on launch day.
I suspect they were new players who came to Season 7 via Steam. They probably had never experienced the fast-paced gameplay of Apex Legends and didn’t know the skills of their heroes yet. Therefore, they were easy prey for players like me with more experience in the game, and I racked up kill after kill.
There were spectacular moments:
A teammate went down, and I couldn’t reach him because he was crawling in the middle of the corridor and desperately calling for help. He had to somehow escape the death zone! So I threw him a jump pad, and my partner gratefully crawled onto it. It went “whoosh” and he flew like a projectile to the back of the corridor. There he landed behind boxes, and I could safely revive him.
As soon as I was done, an enemy flew aimlessly over me and landed confused right in front of my EVA-8 shotgun. I fired twice and ended his confusion. The noob must have been following me and triggered the jump pad without knowing what it actually was.
Another time, an enemy kept running away from me, and I followed him around a container. Finally, I just stopped and turned around. Shortly after, he ran around the corner again and looked puzzled at the barrel of my beloved EVA. Another kill for me!
In the end, we prevailed, and out of four squads that fought over the residential area, only we were left standing at the end. As the death zone was on our heels, we hijacked one of the new vehicles and drove on.
Finally, there was a wild sniper duel between us and the last two remaining squads, which we unfortunately couldn’t win in the end. But we secured many small victories and achieved a lot of kills. A wonderful start for the new season.
If you want to get into Apex Legends, now is the time!
This almost perfect first round repeated itself a few times that day. Thanks to the many new players from Steam and the completely new map that even veterans don’t know, Apex feels fresh and new again after over a year since release.
It’s just a lot of fun to explore the new map and not yet knowing the perfect drop spots and loot routes. This is especially beneficial for new players and returnees. So if you want to get to know Apex Legends, now is the time to grab it and install the free-to-play game.
There won’t be a better opportunity to get started anytime soon.
I can hardly wait while writing these lines until the end of the day and maybe my wife will give me a little extra time to play.
Jürgen Horn Editor at Mein-MMO
However, one thing is really annoying in Season 7: The developers have slowed down the progress in the new battle pass significantly, which is frustrating many players. I also find it unnecessary and have a problem with it despite all the joy in the game.

The world of Fallout 76 is full of secrets and stories that you can discover. Many of them are tied to quests and quest lines and even offer rewards. MeinMMO shows you the 5 most beautiful quests in the game and where you can find them.
What kind of quests are these? We took a trip down memory lane and looked at which quests from the story of Fallout 76 left the strongest impressions. Various images emerged during this analysis.
Some of the quests from the main series are particularly impressive, but side quests that are somewhat hidden in the world also left a strong memory. This list is a colorful selection of the most beautiful quests in terms of:
Story
World and narrative
Entertainment and additional content
How we selected them: The quests are chosen based on personal feelings and the impact they left. Some of them have been in the game since its release in November 2018 and are still vividly remembered.
What was particularly important in the selection was how many and which emotions were evoked during gameplay and how deeply the quests delve into details. The list itself is unordered and incomplete.

Crash Landed on Nukashine – The Playable Student Party
What kind of quest is this? Crash Landed on Nukashine introduces you to the student life at the VaultTec University in Morgantown. It starts with you being invited to a student party, even though all humans are actually dead.
The goal is to survive the party… well, more or less. Because as is customary at student parties, a lot of drinking is involved, and not necessarily just the safe stuff.
Sip on the Nukashine! But beware of the side effects.
What makes it special? In the quest surrounding Nukashine, the homemade hardcore liquor, you investigate the production of this super alcohol. Nukashine is extremely hard liquor with truly nasty aftereffects.
The first experience with Nukashine is certainly the highlight of the quest, but the rewards are also noteworthy. By completing “Crash Landed on Nukashine,” you receive the blueprints for your own distillery at your camp and recipes for your first own alcohol. This way, you can easily brew beer, schnapps, or Nukashine in various variations yourself.
Do you want to see more of the world of Fallout 76? Check out our articles on story and lore here:
Where do I find them? The quest was introduced in Wild Appalachia with the alcohol update, which specifically brought Nukashine and other spirits into the game. You start it by interacting with a poster that invites you to the corresponding celebration.
You can find the posters at bus stops, train stations, and around the university. It also exists as a camp item, so it can also be found to start in other people’s camps or hung up in your own camp.

The prestige system of Call of Duty disappeared with Modern Warfare, and last year many players demanded a return. With CoD: Black Ops Cold War, you can rise to unprecedented heights again. MeinMMO shows you how the new system works.
With the prestige system, you could sacrifice your entire level progress in earlier CoDs to rank up a prestige level. You had to re-unlock all equipment and weapons, but you could shine with your prestige emblem.
Modern Warfare tried something new here and completely moved away from prestige levels. The CoD from 2019 focused on seasonal progress and allowed you to rise 100 levels per season. With each level, you unlock tasks that earn you experience points and special season emblems.
New Prestige System Allows 1,200 Levels Per Season
How does it work with Cold War? With the new Black Ops, the prestige system returns and offers you more levels than ever before. On the English Treyarch blog, the developers refer to it as “the best of both worlds”.
Because the new system is based, like CoD MW, on a seasonal rhythm and offers so many level-ups that you will likely need to invest a lot of time to even come close to the level limit. Because per season, you can rise 1,200 levels.
Across all “Cold War” seasons, you are expected to earn more than 25 prestige ranks compared to the previous system, which allowed you a maximum of 10 prestige levels. However, each season only brings a limited number of prestige ranks, and after that, a mastery system allows you to rise an additional 1,000 levels beyond the available prestige ranks.
The 3 emblems of the pre-season look really cool and unique.
Pre-Season Does Not Come with the Final System Yet
How does it work before Season 1? First of all: When you rank up to prestige ranks, you no longer lose progress. You can continue to use all your weapons and gear that you unlock in the first 55 levels. These base levels are called “Military Ranks”. Once you have completed them, no one can take them away from you.
Once you leave the first 55 levels behind, you get your first prestige badge. The system is already active with the release of Cold War, and CoD allows you to rank up to prestige level 3 before the start of Season 1, which corresponds to 100 levels – 50 levels represent one prestige level in the season prestige system.
Every 50 levels, you receive an emblem and a “prestige key”. The key belongs to a new reward system where you can earn additional items for your diligent level-ups. The prestige shop also starts with Season 1.
Before Season 1:
55 Military Ranks to unlock weapons and gear and reach Prestige Level 1
After that, a maximum level 100 (Prestige 2 at 50, Prestige 3 at 100)
All prestige ranks are associated with rewards
With Season 1, the Real Grinding Begins
What happens then at the start of Season 1? At the start of each season, the ranking system resets. However, you retain your Military Ranks and the number of prestige levels you have achieved. Let’s say you have fully achieved the 3 Prestige Levels of the Pre-Season, then this will also be shown in your prestige ranks.
However, your prestige season progress is then at 0, and with each season, you can unlock an additional 4 prestige ranks. Each rank requires you to complete 50 level-ups and rewards you. Once you have completed them all (200 level-ups), you will reach prestige level 7 along with the 3 ranks from the pre-season.
Additionally, each time you complete all 4 prestige ranks of a season, you receive the title “Prestige Master” for that season and move into the final system, allowing you to rise an additional 1,000 levels. Here too, you receive a reward every 50 levels.
With Each New Season:
Resetting of level progress to 0 (you retain your 55 Military Ranks and achieved Prestige Levels)
Each season offers 4 prestige ranks – one rank has 50 levels (max 200 levels)
After completing the 4 season ranks, you become “Prestige Master” and enter the prestige master ranks (maximum 1,000)
Thus, you can rise 1,200 levels per season
Every 50 levels, there is a prestige reward – also for the prestige master ranks
4 Types of Rewards – Buy Emblems with Prestige Keys
What rewards can I expect? The system rewards you in 4 ways:
Each season offers unique rewards upon reaching the first prestige level at level 50 (in the pre-season, for example, a weapon blueprint)
For each prestige level achieved, you receive special prestige emblems
You unlock a season challenge for every 10 levels of the first 200 season levels
For every 50 levels of a season (up to max level 1,200), you receive a prestige key for the prestige shop
The rewards of the 3 prestige ranks in the pre-season.
Your current prestige level will be visible to everyone, and with each new level, you also receive a unique emblem that you can only earn through the prestige system. These emblems will never be attainable again after the prestige phase ends.
With the season challenges, you can unlock 20 challenges that reward you with special calling cards. Every 10 level-ups of a season (if you already have the fixed military ranks) allows you to obtain further prestige cosmetics, but you must complete the tasks (similar to the Officer Rank Challenges of CoD MW).
And then there is the prestige shop, which goes live with the start of season 1. Here, you can exchange your prestige keys for legacy emblems, for example. These are prestige emblems from previous CoD titles that you can unlock again. However, you can only use them once you have completed the 4 prestige ranks (200 levels) in a season and are a “Prestige Master”.
Here you can find out more about the new mechanics of Cold War:
Level Progress Can Be Achieved in 3 CoDs Simultaneously
Can I level up only in Cold War? The 3 prestige levels of the pre-season, yes. But with the start of Season 1, Modern Warfare, Warzone, and Cold War will share a leveling system.
No matter whether you are currently spawning in front of an enemy on Shipment, parachuting in Warzone without deploying your chute in time, or celebrating the next epic victory in Cold War – every experience point counts towards the prestige system and the battle pass, which goes online with each season as usual. You can read here about how this merging exactly works.
With the new system, CoD does not completely pursue the approaches of the past and offers rather a compromise between the previous approach and the ongoing system from Modern Warfare. However, it provides you with significantly more rewards and progress. Whether this compromise and the merging of the CoDs will resonate with players remains to be seen. MeinMMO author Sven Galitzki believes it is the best solution for all CoD players.

A new Mass Effect is in development. Additionally, fans of the series can finally look forward to the remaster of the original trilogy.
Yesterday was November 7th, which is the “N7 Day” for all fans of the “Mass Effect” series. Here, BioWare traditionally releases new information about the Mass Effect universe. This year had some special features, as two games were announced. One had long been an open secret – but the second is likely new to many.
New Mass Effect teased
The developers at BioWare are apparently working on a new game in the “Mass Effect” series. Casey Hudson revealed this in a blog post. It states:
Here at BioWare, a team of veterans is hard at work crafting the next chapter of the “Mass Effect” universe. We are in the very early stages of the project and cannot say more than that, but we look forward to sharing our vision with you and revealing where we will be traveling next.
For months, there have been rumors circulating that BioWare is working on a remaster of the original trilogy of Mass Effect. This has now been confirmed. The game will be called “Mass Effect Legendary Edition” and will include all single-player content of the original series. This includes:
Mass Effect 1, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3
All single-player DLCs
All promotional weapons and armor
However, the popular multiplayer mode from Mass Effect 3 will not be included and will not be re-added.

In the new MeinMMO-Podcast, we discuss Fallout 76. Has the survival MMO managed to recover from its rocky start and what does the future hold?
What’s it about in the new episode? Fallout 76 had a rocky start in November 2018 and remains memorable for some negative headlines. The focus on a survival MMO didn’t sit well with many franchise fans, and the lack of NPCs was also a problem.
However, a lot has happened in the past two years! NPCs have been around for a while now. With the new update “A Wasteland for Everyone”, all players can now easily play together as the enemy level system has been adjusted. With “Steel Dawn”, the Brotherhood of Steel joins in.
Good reasons to ask the question: Is Fallout 76 now on the verge of a turnaround?

Ashes of Creation is currently in a pre-alpha stage. Since early 2020, the developers have been sharing gameplay and details about the MMORPG with fans. MeinMMO editor Alexander Leitsch is already very excited about the game, but he has 4 concerns that worry him.
What makes the game so interesting? Ashes of Creation is one of the few MMORPGs currently in development in the West that aims to appeal to a broad audience. While there are some other projects like Crowfall, these specifically target a niche audience.
Ashes of Creation, on the other hand, wants to bring players together, promising exciting PvE content such as dungeons and open-world bosses, while also providing social interactions and PvP. All this comes together through a very special system – the nodes:
They are leveled by players and can become anything from small tent cities to huge metropolises.
In the nodes, there are mayors, crafting stations, and also housing.
This is what the world of Ashes of Creation looks like.
Additionally, the game has an interesting background story. Studio founder Steven Sharif is a millionaire and has played ArcheAge himself. However, from his perspective, the sandbox MMORPG had too many problems. Therefore, he wanted to create something with Ashes of Creation that matches his desires.
What is the current state of the game? Currently, Ashes of Creation is in a preliminary stage before Alpha 1. The first backers who paid 1,000 euros or more should already have hands-on access. Moreover, new content and features related to the MMORPG are being presented every month.
I personally have not yet gotten hands-on with the game, but I absorb every detail like a sponge. During this process, I have also come across 4 things that could be an obstacle for Ashes of Creation, which I would like to share with you.
1. Open-World PvP
What do we know so far? In Ashes of Creation, much revolves around the topic of PvP. However, this does not pertain to battles over the massive fortresses or the nodes, but also to the open world.
In Ashes of Creation, there are no factions. Theoretically, any player can attack any other player. To prevent this system from spiraling out of control, the developers have implemented a flagging system. The system has 3 different statuses:
Non-combatant (green)
PvP fighter (purple)
Corrupted (red)
Each player starts as a “Non-combatant”. In this status, for example, you will not take damage if you accidentally walk through an AoE caused by other players.
However, if you deliberately attack another player, you will become a “Fighter”. If you kill a “Non-combatant”, you will also become Corrupted. Exactly how this works can be seen in this image:
This is how the corruption system works in open-world PvP (Image source: Ashes‘s Wiki).
Corruption is supposed to have several disadvantages:
Other players can kill you without punishment
You lose attributes such as health points and mana with each level of corruption
You will also be marked on the world map after reaching a certain level
After death, you will not respawn at regular spawn points, but somewhere in the world
You may lose your equipped gear. “Non-combatants” and “Fighters” do not have this risk. They only lose a little XP, durability on their gear, and time
Losing your gear and possibly respawning in a completely different part of the game world just to hinder other players while questing does not seem lucrative at first glance and could be off-putting.
Where do I have concerns? PvP in the open world is a double-edged sword:
I personally enjoy the thrill of being interrupted or getting involved in fights while questing. Under fair conditions, of course. After all, the fun is lost when high-level enemies with strong gear appear.
However, I know plenty of players who prefer to avoid open-world PvP and would rather quest in peace – especially when starting out in an MMORPG.
In my opinion, a lot depends on the balancing from the developers. If players, for example, receive such a high level of corruption for killing a beginner that they lose their gear for it, the action would be completely pointless.
In addition to open-world PvP, there are also clear PvP content, including fights over caravans (like in this screenshot from a livestream) or over fortresses.
The corruption could also lead to the development of a kind of “bounty system”. Players who wish to defend beginners could go on the hunt for the Corrupted, kill them without penalty, and loot their gear. That at least sounds like an entertaining activity to me.
An alternative could be the system from New World. They switched to an optional PvP flagging system and offer more loot and XP in return when players roam around as PvP fighters. However, the incentives for PvP were so low that hardly anyone utilized it. We also criticized this in our podcast about New World.
2. Player Balance
What do we know so far? In Ashes of Creation, fortresses play an important role. There are a total of 5 fortresses in the game. Each of these fortresses “controls” 20% of the entire world, which means that all nodes belonging to this fortress must pay taxes.
A similar system also exists with the nodes. Each node has “vassal nodes” that belong to it and cannot level up independently of their “parent node”.
The whole system works like a snowball and establishes hierarchies.
In Ashes of Creation, there will be mass battles. At least 250v250. The actual goal is 500v500.
Where do I have concerns? Aside from the fact that the system sounds incredibly complex on paper, such systems are very prone to balance issues.
It can quickly happen that a guild or group of players dominates the entire system or that guilds make non-aggression pacts with each other and thus retain their fortresses and power. In the large battles, up to 500 or even 1,000 players are supposed to compete against each other.
My experiences are primarily based on World vs. World in Guild Wars 2, fortress battles in Black Desert, and the wars in New World. All of these systems have encountered issues relating to population.
Here, the developers of Ashes of Creation should definitely create incentives to prevent such structures from forming.
3. Post-Release Content
What do we know so far? In their ambitious plans, the developers have already revealed that they want to release a smaller update each month and a “major release” every quarter.
This is intended to ensure fresh content in the game.
Where do I have concerns? New content post-release is often a sticking point for MMORPGs. In Ashes of Creation, I find it particularly difficult to even envision new content.
The game world is so divided that all areas always belong to a fortress. Each node also has a background (scientific, military, or religious) and is filled with content such as dungeons or world bosses.
The fundamental idea of the nodes highlighted. Each area has a city (the black dot), which grows as more activities are carried out in a node.
The release of a new area can therefore really occur only when the other 4 fortresses also get one. Additionally, with the release of a new area, a battle for it starts immediately, as it is likely easier to conquer than a city that is already controlled and developed.
However, new areas also depend on content such as new dungeons or world bosses. Furthermore, item balance plays a much larger role in such an MMORPG than, for example, in WoW. Simply throwing new gear into the game world is also not the solution.
Here, I am particularly curious about what the developers of Intrepid Studios plan as new content to keep Ashes of Creation interesting permanently.
4. Monetization
What do we know so far? Ashes of Creation relies on a subscription model. You will have to pay monthly to access the MMORPG.
In addition to the subscription, there will also be a shop for cosmetic content. What this might look like is already shown by the current cosmetic packages linked to access to the alpha and beta.
From November 4th to December 2nd, the shop has the “Harvest’s Dawn” package. It includes:
A cosmetic accessory skin
A pet
A mount skin
A costume
A caravan skin
A housing skin
The contents of the current cosmetic package.
Where do I have concerns? The package shown here changes every month. By the end of 2020, there will be 12 different costumes, mounts, and all the other content created for the shop.
While I have nothing against cosmetic content in a shop in principle, with a subscription game, most should be earnable through gameplay and not also land in the shop. While WoW does this as well, it is not to this extent and even before the actual release.
Even though I don’t personally place much value on the appearance of my characters or mounts, I still hope that this practice will be toned down after the release. For collectors and players who care about their appearance, it could otherwise become really expensive.
Ashes of Creation could become a really good MMORPG
Even though I have expressed my concerns in some areas, I still believe that Ashes of Creation will become a good MMORPG. Besides the nodes, I am particularly excited about the social features, such as cooperation in a city, and the hybrid combat system designed to satisfy both tab-targeting and action fans.
However, my statement only holds true as long as the promised features come through and are implemented. After all, there have been many games in the past that made big promises and did not deliver. How successful Ashes of Creation will actually be, we will probably only see a few weeks after release.
What do you think about Ashes of Creation? Can you understand my concerns or do you have others? Or are you able to dispel my worries?
As mentioned at the beginning, Ashes of Creation is currently one of the most interesting MMORPGs in development. But there are more exciting games out there. We have presented them to you here:
The latest patch of the Shadowlands beta for WoW was probably the last. The expansion seems to be complete now.
The beta of the upcoming WoW expansion Shadowlands is coming to an end. The latest update clearly indicates that Blizzard is almost done with development. Thus, nothing should stand in the way of a release in a few weeks – or?
What happened? Yesterday, the Shadowlands beta received a new patch. Particularly noteworthy is that patch version 9.0.2 is now marked as “Release Candidate” in the launcher. This means that this version of the patch is considered “finished” by Blizzard’s side and will be released to players unless major bugs are found. If larger bugs or issues are still discovered, there will surely be another update.
This is what players say: In the comments on Reddit and wowhead players are rather skeptical. They find it “ambitious” that Blizzard considers Shadowlands ready for release. Some classes and specializations are still complaining about bugs or balance issues.
Usually, Blizzard is quite good at quickly pushing out hotfixes and patches when acute problems arise. In the first days after the release of a new expansion, it is quite normal that minor fixes are rolled out every few hours.
Are you active in the beta and do you think that Blizzard is ready for release? Or should Shadowlands have been postponed a few more weeks?

If you want to rack up the most victories in FIFA 21, you need to think carefully about how to approach the game. MeinMMO asked two FIFA professionals: What tips would they give to players?
These are the pros: In the interview, we spoke with FIFA pros Benny Ratzlaff and Marcel “DonChap” Deutscher. Both are contracted with the agency L4K eSports and currently play for clubs in the VBL (Virtual Bundesliga).
Marcel Deutscher has been a professional player for several years and recently also works as a coach at Hannover 96.
Benny Ratzlaff is starting his first professional season at Holstein Kiel.
Marcel Deutscher and Benny Ratzlaff play in the VBL
Both pros had enough time since the release to thoroughly engage with the gameplay. Here you can find their tips on how to score more goals, concede fewer goals, and ultimately achieve more victories.
1. What things are important in FIFA 21?
Point 1 – Pace: In FIFA 21, there are many ways to the opponent’s goal – some are more effective than others. The fastest way, appropriately, is through pace: “It all runs through speed, through through balls, and counterattacks,” explains Marcel Deutscher. The pace ratings of the players are once again extremely important, so it can be crucial to include fast sprinters in your team.
Point 2 – The Defense: Conversely, this means: You also have to be prepared for quick counterattacks: “I would recommend focusing on the defense,” explains Deutscher: “That you are compact at the back and have two or three fast players upfront to send.” This creates spaces where you can exploit the fast offense.
Benny Ratzlaff also emphasizes that a hard-to-overcome defense is a crucial point. If you’re having problems in this area, you should draw on reinforcements from other parts of the team: “You should sit deep and run the paths with the midfielders,” says Ratzlaff. Also, the full-backs stay back with him. Are there still gaps? “Then you can also pull the midfielders back.”
Another point in defense is the goalkeeper’s play. In FIFA 20, it was very effective to position the keeper manually using the right analog stick. A technique that both pros assess as weaker this year. “You have to play with the keeper. You have to try to get into the opponent’s head,” explains Ratzlaff.
For example, a quick step out in a 1v1 and suddenly returning to the goal can help. The opponent shouldn’t know whether you’re fully committing the keeper or allowing him to stay on the line.
As the strongest defensive tactic, both have identified team pressing this year: “You need two button presses to activate team pressing, and it’s really brutal,” says Deutscher. With team pressing activated, your players storm the opponent and put him under pressure. This can only last for a limited time but is very effective.
The tricky part: With team pressing, your team is left more open at the back and is vulnerable to counterattacks. A long ball to fast players can already crack the defense, explains Ratzlaff – especially when top players like Ronaldo are involved.
Finally, blocking shots in the penalty area is very strong, explains Deutscher. Therefore, it’s worth positioning as many players around your own goal as possible.
Point 3 – Skills: “When you are in front of the goal, do a handstand/flic flac and then the ball is in,” explains Marcel Deutscher jokingly – but there is truth in it. The skill moves are extremely strong this year: “Last year the 5-star weak foot was important, but I believe that this year 5-star skills are more important,” explains Benny Ratzlaff.
Deutscher also emphasizes: Those who have some time for training should go to the training arena and master two or three skill moves that you can then perform almost effortlessly.
2. 3 tricks that everyone should know in FIFA 21
We asked the pros: What skill moves can you recommend that are not too difficult but effective? They recommend these three tricks:
The Elastico: Since the patch it is a bit slower but still extremely strong. It’s perfect for slipping past an opponent in tight spaces. Describe a semicircle against your direction with the right stick.
Body feint/direction change: You execute this trick by flicking the right stick against your running direction twice. Then your player performs a body feint and abruptly changes direction. Ideal for catching the opponent off guard.
The step over: With this trick, you can confuse your opponent and get a small speed boost to slip past defenders. Flick the right stick against your running direction and then 45 degrees in the direction you want to go.
3. Powerful new feature: Player Lock and Creative Runs
Both pros emphasize that you should also take a closer look at the new features Player Lock and Creative Runs. “This is like FIFA graduate school,” says Deutscher, “but if you practice it well, you can create good spaces for yourself.” Ratzlaff also explains: “Particularly when you master them in tight spaces, they are strong.”
With Creative Runs, you send teammates into space
This works like this: To trigger Player Lock, press both sticks. Now your ball-carrying player is designated. You continue to control him even after you have passed the ball. Now you can run free and request a pass or a cross.
In contrast, you trigger Creative Runs by sending other players than the one carrying the ball. Briefly press L1 to send the next player. At the same time, you must define with the right stick in which direction he should run. Now you can send him into spaces – and position him perfectly for a pass.
To conclude, we also asked the pros for general tips. One topic was which player cards are worth it in FUT. The tips:
For a small budget, the pros recommend players like Klostermann, Mbabu and Zakaria.
With a bit more budget, Rodrigo, Coman or Richarlison are worth it.
For a larger budget, you should go for Rashford, Martial or Adama Traoré – they are also among the most popular players in the game.
The best cards are Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Mbappé – but they are also incredibly expensive.
From a gameplay perspective, one should not neglect set pieces, says Deutscher: “Try to be dangerous through set pieces,” says the pro: “You always have 3 or 4 corners per game, always a few promising free kick situations.” It’s essential to take advantage of them.
In the end, everyone must look out for themselves, explains Benny: “It’s important to find your own tactic. You should find your variant that works best for you.” And finally, it’s crucial to remain calm when playing – even if the connection isn’t great: “This game stands and falls with the servers,” says Deutscher.

In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the original Fortnite skins are back, but now you have to pay for them. MeinMMO author Eilyn Rapp thinks that’s a bit cheeky, although she is happy about their return.
What are these skins? On November 5 at 1:00 AM, the item shop was updated and the oldest skins that you can now buy were released. We’re talking about the original default skins that were available at the launch of Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Back then, these were the only outfits you could use through a random method. Accordingly, these were also free, unlike the skins that were released gradually.
After the start of Chapter 2 brought new default skins, the original ones were not seen for a while. But now they are back, just not in the way you would expect.
I’m not paying for that!
What’s different now? As already mentioned, you can now buy the default skins if you want to revive the feeling from the old days. Either you buy 1 favorite for 800 V-Bucks or a whole pack of 4 for 2,000 V-Bucks.
The defaults mean a lot to me: For me, the default skins were always something special. They accompanied me when I first entered the Fortnite world, and as I got better and had new cool skins, I saw players with default skins as “noobies” that needed protection.
As soon as I saw one of these skins in the game, I wanted to protect the player right away
When they then got a completely new style in Chapter 2, it made me a little sad, but it didn’t bother me much. After all, the memories remained.
What bothers me now about the return: Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s cool that the original defaults are back and not simply forgotten. But how they have returned does bother me.
Why should a skin that was available for free to every player suddenly cost money? I mean, these were the skins you had to use if you didn’t want to buy a skin from the item shop.
Sure, now you can choose exactly which default skin you want and aren’t reliant on the random generator. Some players might like the simple style of the defaults, but to spend extra money on that? For me, it’s a clear: No! That would be a skin I would be ashamed to buy.
I can understand why players buy these skins, especially if they want to feel like a real OG again. But I’m not too thrilled about this action. However, if you also want to revive the OG feeling but don’t want to spend money for it, you can now get the very first pickaxe for free.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is releasing on PlayStation with a handful of exclusive bonuses. These include a unique game mode, additional loadout slots, and other useful features. However, this is not well received by players, even various PlayStation players find it excessive.
What is the exclusive deal on PlayStation? The PlayStation version of Cold War is not identical to the other versions of the game despite the crossplay feature. Sony has made an exclusive deal and received a few features that will initially only be available on PS4 and PS5:
Battle Pass Bundle Bonus: When you purchase the premium battle pass, 5 additional tiers, for a total of 25 tiers, are unlocked.
PlayStation Party Bonus: Players on PlayStation receive a 25 percent bonus on weapon XP when playing in a team (even with non-PS players).
Double XP Bonus: Every month, there will be events lasting 24 hours where PlayStation players will receive double XP.
Extra Loadouts: PlayStation players receive two additional slots for loadouts.
Zombie Mode Onslaught: This additional game mode for zombies will initially be available only on PlayStation. Only on November 1, 2021 will the others get access to the mode.
These features can also be seen in detail in the aptly named “Sony Advantage Trailer”.

This is how players are reacting to the exclusives: Contrary to expectations, many reactions to these exclusive goodies are not positive. User BenjaminWareing on reddit started an angry thread with the following words:
Last year, an exclusive game mode was lame enough, but it didn’t change the game. It was manageable and a somewhat fair compromise for crossplay and all these other things.
The two additional slots now create a class that is ONLY meant for PlayStation players, AND additional tier skips, AND additional weapon XP, AND EXCLUSIVE double XP events – “ALL ONLY FOR PLAYSTATION” crosses the line.
There is no compromise, crossplay is a given, this is simply consumer unfriendly at this point, and if it was a result of PlayStation’s exclusive contract with Activision, they should hang their heads in shame.
This is outrageous and another stepping stone on the way to the complete disenfranchisement of the player base. This is yet another stepping stone on the way to losing players to non-predatory, alternative games.
In his reddit thread, which had already received over 5,000 upvotes and almost 1,000 comments by November 7, 2020, many users agree with him:
SkippyTheManYT says: “An exclusive game mode was already somewhat dumb, but now they are getting 2 additional slots to create a class AND progression advantages? This is so dumb and consumer unfriendly.”
Meng3267 prefers Microsoft these days because of such things: “These consumer unfriendly policies are why I play on Xbox instead of PlayStation. I mainly play third-party games, so I don’t need both systems. Microsoft has become so much more consumer-friendly than Sony, and I happily give them my money instead of Sony.”
Kirk420 wants even PlayStation fans to denounce this issue: “I was undecided about Cold War, but now I am holding back on buying. I know this doesn’t mean much, but hopefully others will do the same if they were as undecided as I am. Hopefully, PS players will also express their dissatisfaction because, in this situation, no one wins. This is complete BS.”
If you are interested in more about CoD Cold War, you might also find this appealing:
That’s why even PlayStation fans are complaining: The news about the exclusives is not well received even among various PlayStation fans. While some celebrate the matter and are excited about exclusives, some PS fans are disappointed:
Juuzuo_suzuya writes on Twitter: “This is disgusting and I am a PlayStation [user]. You can see that it is bad when a PlayStation user is not excited at all about this news.”
Century, also a PS user on Twitter, says: “Okay, even I as a PlayStation guy can say that bonus XP is completely crazy and should not be a thing.”
User Greggs is excited about the new features on Twitter, but he does not understand why others should not receive them: “Man, this is cool for me, but Xbox and PC players should also receive this. Lmao, this is really messed up.”
Even the trailer is not going over well: The negative feedback from angry fans is also seen in the comments on the trailer online. There are plenty of sarcastic remarks like:
TheGameVerse says: “Did you seriously call it the ‘Sony Advantage’? Legendary!”
Aman Khan: “As PlayStation players, we want console equality!”
MaurzStarz: “How come no one is talking about the 2 additional loadout slots? This is literally pay-to-win and extremely stupid. It doesn’t matter what platform it is; when you make it so that your platform has a literal gameplay advantage over all others in a multiplayer-oriented game, that is extremely unreasonable. This is wrong on so many levels.”
In addition, there are numerous negative comments about a gigantic preload that surprisingly hit the storage space of many PlayStation users. What the preload of Call of Duty: Cold War is about and why it arrives much later on PC, you can find out here.
More about the gigantic storage size of the game can be read here:
