What’s happening in Overwatch? The hero shooter has been a successful game for years, and currently, a second part of the series is in development. Nevertheless, there is still a lot going on in the first part. According to Blizzard’s quarterly report, Overwatch has 10 million players per month – so you’ll find plenty of teammates.
Until January 5th, Overwatch features the “Winter Wonderland,” which has brought winter-themed cosmetics, a new 4v4 mode, and frosty eliminations. So if you have to celebrate Christmas in 10-degree weather and rain, at least you can enjoy a winter vibe in Overwatch.
Who is Overwatch suitable for? In the shooter, you play as heroes, each with different abilities and strong personalities. You are always working as a team and must use your abilities wisely together.
Overwatch offers extremely good tuning, and the heroes are well balanced. If you like such shooters, you’ll quickly find your home.
The shooter has a cartoonish style, and realism is not a priority here. So if you enjoyed games like Fortnite, you will likely have fun in Overwatch as well.

While we here in the West are experiencing an MMORPG drought, the South Korean MMORPG Lost Ark announces a content boom for 2021: Smilegate will bring numerous new classes, six raids, and a new continent to Lost Ark.
The news is bittersweet for us in the West: The MMORPG Lost Ark, which we have been waiting for since 2018, is apparently flourishing. For 2021, developer Smilegate is announcing a massive amount of new content.
This is the same effect we have seen with Black Desert: South Korean MMORPGs often announce a lot of content that will happen in the next year all at once. It looks like there’s so much new content that it’s overwhelming for us in the West. In the West, it’s more common for an MMORPG company to only announce what will happen in the next quarter.
Cowgirl and New Loli Class Coming to Lost Ark
What new classes are coming? Smilegate has announced that it will bring 3 new subclasses and a new main class with 3 more subclasses to Lost Ark in 2021.
On January 27, the “Gunslinger” is supposed to join the game. This is the female counterpart to the Devil Hunter. These are subclasses of the “Gunner”.
The trailer shows that the Gunslinger is a kind of cowgirl who uses various weapons. Quite cool.

In March 2021, the “Striker” will come to Lost Ark: This is a male variant of the Battle Master. Both are subclasses of the “Fighter” – so a kind of melee DPS.
In the second half of 2022, we can expect a new subclass for the “Magician” main class. It is supposed to be a “typical sorceress” as known from fantasy stories.
Additionally, Smilegate says they are planning a new main class. However, they haven’t revealed what role it is supposed to take.
The new main class is likely a “loli” character, looking childlike and is supposed to appear with 3 subclasses. However, only two have been internally approved and are in development.
Loli characters are controversial in the West.
What new content is coming? Smilegate says: 2020 saw rather little because structural changes had to be made. This is not planned for 2021, so they are focusing on content instead.
With Season 2 in Lost Ark, a new continent called “South Bern” is coming. This is supposed to be a rather small continent, but it will play a significant role in the story of Lost Ark.

Moreover, the planned “Legion Commander Raid” has been divided into 6 raids. Each raid is supposed to be led by a different corp, torturing players in their own ways.
Additionally, MMOCulture reports that the developers hinted: They are playing with the idea of creating a kind of Lost Ark 2, which takes place 500 years after Lost Ark.
