Cross-save, on the other hand, is only available to a limited extent:
Your account is tied to an email, so you can use the same account on PC and smartphone.
Only the PS4/PS5 is separate from this. Here, you log in via your PSN account. However, there is cross-save between the two consoles.
Additionally, there are fundamental requirements and restrictions when it comes to forming a group.
Requirements for co-op: While there is generally the possibility to play together in co-op and through crossplay, there are two restrictions:
Firstly, all players must be on the same server. Therefore, you can only play with other European players if you’re from Europe. On PC and smartphone, you can theoretically switch your server, but you must start from scratch again. On PlayStation, your server is assigned to you via PSN.
Secondly, all players must have reached adventure rank 16. This is a mandatory requirement for the multiplayer in Genshin Impact.
If you want to play with other players, you only need their ID. You can add this to your friends list and simply invite them to a group from there.
You can be in co-op with up to 4 players.
These restrictions exist in co-op: The multiplayer in Genshin Impact differs when playing from the classic version:
If you are playing Genshin Impact in a two-person group, each of you can take on two characters.
In a three-person group, the group leader can still control two characters, while the other two players can only control one each.
And in a four-person party, each member of the group plays exactly one character.
Furthermore, in special contents like dungeons, there can only be one character of each type in the group.
Moreover, players who are not the group leader have restrictions on their actions. For example, they cannot open chests or complete story missions.
Preventing co-op with other platforms: In the settings of Genshin, under the subsection “Other,” there is an option “Allow only players from [Platform X] for multiplayer mode.” This option is set to “No” by default but can theoretically be activated.

The warrior DesMephisto also rocks with the gamepad in WoW. He has achieved a tough achievement that many others fail at.
Hand on heart. World of Warcraft with a PS4 controller or an Xbox gamepad is somehow not the best choice. But there are always some players who prove that it can be better than just “acceptable”.
Who is that? DesMephisto has been gaining more and more attention in recent years. On one hand, he loves the warrior class above all and has several dozen warriors – one for each race and both genders. On the other hand, he collects money for good causes and entertains many people with his streams. The streams are always cheerful and full of good mood.
What has he achieved? Mephisto has now revealed on Twitter that he completed the achievement “Keystone Master” in Shadowlands. This achievement requires players to complete all dungeons at the Mythic+15 difficulty level within the time limit. The achievement rewards a nice mount and is one of the usual prestige achievements of a season.
Anyone who thinks “So what? Many have achieved that …” is right and wrong at the same time. Because DesMephisto did not control his warrior with the keyboard, but with a gamepad.
How did he do it? Since Shadowlands, WoW supports controller input on its own, but with some addons, the experience can be even better. Many buttons need to be double mapped, such as using modifiers like the shoulder buttons.

DesMephisto explained that some things were more challenging with the gamepad. Quickly getting out of harmful area effects is more cumbersome, as you often need to turn the character a bit with the sticks – with the mouse, that would be a single, jerky motion.
However, it was relatively easy to stay close to mobs and use the sticks to align your position behind them. With a bit of practice, it was said to be even easier than with mouse and keyboard.
