The player picks in the Weekend League rewards of FIFA 21 are actually among the most important rewards. However, since the TOTW is hardly keeping up, they need an improvement.
These are player picks: From a certain rank in FUT Champions, you receive a so-called player choice in your Weekend League rewards. This is a pack where you are offered several players from the current TOTW – in the red “FUT Champions” version. You can now select one of these players for your team.
Depending on your performance, you will receive different amounts of player picks and suggestions within the packs. Those who achieve particularly high ranks have better chances of getting strong players.
Especially at the beginning of a FIFA season, these player picks are very valuable as they give you the chance for TOTW players and thus special cards. But as the season progresses, they become less important.
If you get top cards, everything is great. But often it’s different.
If you pull one of the “main prizes” in the TOTW, the FUT Champions rewards are of course amazing. However, there are players in all TOTWs who are only somewhat useful.
These can be players who have overall such low ratings that they do not help on the field or in SBCs. Moreover, there’s a lot of “average,” which while not particularly helpful in the game, can at least assist in SBCs or on the transfer market.
However, the “player picks” are untradeable, which already restricts them on the transfer market. And unfortunately, the chances of top players in player picks are not necessarily huge, which is why you often get players from the Weekend League rewards that are rather “meh”.
Player picks often look more like this
You can exchange a complete team of player-pick players in the “FUT Champions Premium Upgrade” for another player choice of 3 cards with guaranteed 86+. However, you need to be either very successful or play a lot of Weekend League – and even then, there are still players who are of little use. This includes highly rated goalkeepers or players who are simply irrelevant in the meta.
And the further the season progresses, the more TOTW players fall under this category. Because almost weekly, new event teams appear that leave the TOTW far behind.
The TOTW hardly keeps up with events
The problem with the events: Nowadays there are so many special cards with unique properties in FIFA that one could almost lose track. This includes players like the current “What-If cards”, which are already strong and can also receive an upgrade.
For comparison: While Marcelo’s base and TOTW cards are hardly suitable for tough matches in the Weekend League, his What-If card is quite suitable – even without an upgrade.
Marcelo is really good in the event version
The event card received a pace upgrade of +20 compared to the last TOTW card, along with other improvements.
Another example: The Future Stars card of Gladbach’s Neuhaus. Here too, the differences between TOTW and event card are extreme.
Many event cards are significantly stronger than the TOTW
Both Marcelo and Neuhaus are not even the best cards provided in events. However, even the “weaker” cards of the events easily outperform many TOTW cards. Of course, there are still top cards in the TOTW, but in comparison, they are rare – and for some players, it feels outdated that this is an important part of the Weekend League rewards.
This is what the community says: If you take a look around in the FIFA subreddit, you will find a lot of voices wishing for a revamp of the TOTW and the player picks.
“You can tell that the TOTW needs to be revamped when I’m more excited about fodder for the premium upgrade,” reports one player who apparently only sees his TOTW rewards as a means to the end regarding premium SBC (via reddit).
“I seriously think promo players should be included in the red picks. I can’t think of a better idea, but promo players would be a good start,” suggests another (via reddit).
“With each year, the number of special cards increases. TOTW upgrades are simply not strong enough to compete against the new special cards,” comments a user (via reddit).
Currently, however, it is the TOTW that is included in the Weekend League rewards and is regularly outdone by other special cards. What do you think about this topic? Let us know in the comments!
Recently, a player made headlines who got really lucky and pulled one of the best cards ever in his FUT Champions upgrade. Unfortunately, he chose the FIFA 21 cards without looking.

Blizzard’s developers are running out of games that can be remastered. Therefore, a lot of new content is likely to come.
The big new highlight at BlizzCon 2021 was absent. It is surprising that the main attraction is the remaster of a game that is already 20 years old – Diablo II: Resurrected. However, after the remaster, Blizzard is essentially done with its modernization. Now, new things must come.
Everything that could be remastered has been: Looking back at the last few years at Blizzard, the developer studio has actually re-released all major hits with a remaster.
StarCraft 1 was modernized along with the expansion Broodwar. The graphics were enhanced, and the resolution significantly improved.
Warcraft III, the centerpiece of the Warcraft universe, also received a remaster with “Reforged”. Although it was a huge flop and not what fans were promised, it still counts in the remaster series. Nowadays, it’s barely mentioned.
Diablo II: Resurrected revives Diablo 2 along with the expansion “Lord of Destruction” once again. For many players, Diablo 2 is the progenitor of the “hack ‘n slash” genre and was groundbreaking for all subsequent games of this type.
With the arcade collection, Blizzard has dusted off its very old games. The Lost Vikings, Rock ‘n Roll Racing, and Blackthorne come from a time when Blizzard wasn’t even called Blizzard yet.
A remaster of Diablo 2 – the last great remaster from Blizzard?
Other games are hardly suitable for a remaster. For Warcraft I and Warcraft II, that decision has already been made. The gameplay has simply aged too poorly; too many changes would need to be made to bring the game up to modern standards. Similar reasons likely apply to Diablo I.
So what is Blizzard going to do now that remasters are running out? The answer is quite simple: new games.
There will be “more games than ever before”
In an interview with Cnet, Blizzard CEO J. Allen Brack and Vice President Allen Adham talked about the previous remasters, Blizzard’s future, and thus new games. The way games are developed and maintained has drastically changed. Adham explained:
In the past, we released a game and might have patched it once or twice before moving on to the next game. Now we are in this new “always online” world with live games… that means that development cycles are longer and the need to support our ongoing, successful games is greater – it takes longer to release “the next thing”.
Finally, Adham added:
But just to be crystal clear, our development pipeline today is richer than ever before. And we have new teams working on new games and new game types.
More is coming – just when? Even though BlizzConline 2021 revealed little new information, most will understand that the developers are currently working behind the scenes on a lot of games. Just in the last earnings call, it was confirmed that currently “multiple mobile titles” for Warcraft are in advanced stages of development. So, we can at least expect an announcement within the next year.
When we will finally see the first fruits of this work is still uncertain. But as long as Blizzard has been talking about its many games in development, it shouldn’t be too long now…

Razer has introduced a smart glasses for home office and gaming. However, it is not an augmented reality (AR) glasses. MeinMMO presents the glasses to you.
Here’s what it’s about: The Razer Anzu is a smart audio glasses since it cannot provide augmented reality (AR) features. Instead, the glasses offer you a blue light filter and Bluetooth functions. People with visual impairments can also have their own lenses fitted into the glasses.
What does this have to do with Superman? In civilian life, Superman operates as Clark Kent. He always wears black horn-rimmed glasses when he interacts with his colleagues in daily life.
The design of Clark Kent’s glasses and the Razer Anzu are quite similar – and if you want to feel like Superman, you at least get some cool features with the new glasses.
An (English) excerpt from “Batman vs Superman” is embedded here so that you can see for yourself his appearance:

This is how the device works: The glasses are controlled via touch fields located on the two arms of the glasses. You use tap gestures (single, double, or triple) to answer calls or start music tracks.
Another special feature is that the glasses are supposed to protect you from blue light. Therefore, the package includes two pairs of lenses:
The first pair is intended for indoor use and provides a 35 percent blue light filter.
The second pair consists of tinted sunglasses with 99 percent UVA/UVB protection.
This is what the Razer Anzu looks like.
Especially the blue light filter is supposed to make working or sitting in front of the PC for long hours easier and reduce issues in front of the screen. If you have illnesses or health problems while working from home, you should definitely speak to your family doctor. He can advise you on difficulties.
What is blue light anyway? Blue light is included in LED radiation from flat screens, smartphones, or monitors. Blue light negatively impacts our sleep rhythm and keeps us awake. Moreover, it makes it harder for us to fall asleep. A comprehensive analysis of blue light can be found on Tagesschau.de.
Here’s what you have to do without in Germany: In the USA, Razer has partnered with an online optician. This does not exist in the German-speaking area.
If you need glasses due to a visual impairment, you must either wear contact lenses or go to your optician to have the right lenses fitted.
Razer Anzu in detail:
Two lens sets: blue light filter (35%) and sunglasses (99% UVA/UVB)
16 mm drivers and microphone
Touch control for calls, music, and voice assistants
about 5 hours of battery life
The glasses support devices with Bluetooth audio functions and Android and iOS
The glasses cost 209.99 euros and are available now at Razer
Razer Anzu – early tests say
So far, some testers have been able to try the Razer Anzu. Netzwelt writes in the review that the Razer Anzu is generally an interesting blue light glasses. However, if you don’t need the technology, you can also get simple blue light glasses without Bluetooth technology for 30 euros. The glasses are not very convincing as headphones.
A similar conclusion is drawn by the editorial team from Golem.de. The idea of creating an interesting and comfortable pair of glasses for the home office is fundamentally interesting, but at a price of 200 euros, there are significantly cheaper options. For around 200 euros, you can also get a good headset, but you would have to forgo the blue light lenses.
More accessories for gamers: In addition to the glasses, Razer has also introduced a special mask against Corona, an accessory for gamers. The mask looks like it comes straight out of a video game. However, it shouldn’t be as expensive as the new smart glasses from Razer.

Actually, Valve, the company behind Steam, intended to create a new hit with Artifact. That was in 2018. After a huge failure and a failed second attempt, Artifact is now completely free – even though it was quite expensive at launch.
What is Artifact? Artifact can best be described as a MOBA in collectible card form. On three different “lanes,” players use their cards to defeat enemy units and tear down towers.
The gameplay system is roughly similar to that of Hearthstone, only that the game is played simultaneously on three boards, two of which must be won. Players must decide where and how to concentrate and deploy their strength.
As a major feature, Artifact was supposed to be a real collectible card game. The digital cards were available in boosters and could be traded on the Steam marketplace – just like Magic or Pokémon cards used to be on the playground. Some cards were even more expensive than the game itself.

Why is Artifact now free? Shortly after its release in November 2018, there was significant criticism of Artifact’s payment system. Players were required to purchase the game itself and the cards additionally. Furthermore, Valve pursued the policy of not wanting to adjust cards anymore – meaning there would be no balancing.
However, this did not last long, as some cards were simply too strong. Long silence from the developers without updates or news about the game then caused many players to abandon the card game. Artifact lost 97% of its players in a few weeks.
One of the significant changes: all three lanes are visible simultaneously.
Up until shortly before the decision, an average of at most 40 players played Artifact for months, peaking at 80 (via steamcharts). For the developers, that is no longer enough to continue developing the game. There will be no more new updates – therefore, Artifact is now free.
What exactly is free? Artifact is now available in two versions, both of which are free: Classic, the original variant, and Foundry, the revised “Artifact 2.0.” Both games are available for free on Steam and:
all cards are included, there are no card packs to buy anymore
those who previously purchased Artifact and cards can still trade their cards as a collector’s edition
formerly paying customers can continue to receive collector’s editions in Classic – Free2Play players cannot
in Foundry, all cards can be easily unlocked – there are none for purchase
there are no more paid event tickets
The developers themselves explain the differences between Foundry and Classic in detail on the blog (via Steam).
With the switch to Free2Play, the player base has explosively increased. 819 players played Artifact concurrently over the past days. Whether this will maintain and whether it will have an impact on development remains to be seen.
The value, however, fell fairly quickly, and those who bought cards for 300 $ only had a collection worth 40 $ shortly thereafter. And from now on, all cards are available to all players without spending a cent.

The streamer DrWitnesser was permanently banned from the streaming platform Twitch in January 2021. He mainly showcased Fortnite on the platform and talked about his Christian faith. In March 2021, he plans to sue Twitch: he believes the ban discriminates against him as a Christian.
These are DrWitnesser’s bans: DrWitnesser has been banned from Twitch three times within 6 months:
DrWitnesser states: He doesn’t know the exact reason why he was banned from Twitch for the second and third time. Nobody knows the reason.
There is a clause in Twitch’s rules that states one must “keep a record of bans” and multiple minor suspensions can lead to a permanent ban. This is interpreted by many as a “Three Strikes Out” rule: if someone receives a third ban within a certain timeframe, they will be permanently excluded from Twitch.
This is what he says about the lawsuit: The streamer considers the ban from Twitch to be “illegal,” arguing it discriminates against him religiously.
The religious streamer says: He is currently on the phone all day or writing emails to find a suitable law firm to represent his lawsuit against Twitch: because they are preventing him from practicing his religion on their platform.
He will not deviate from fighting for justice until Twitch restores his account and withdraws all strikes against him.
DrWitnesser holds the position that: He spreads the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is not against the law to explain to people what the Bible says about the fate of those who do not confess to Jesus. It is the exercise of his religion to convert people. That is neither hate speech nor anything else.
Additionally, he always asks players in Fortnite if they want to talk about the Bible and thus obtains their consent.
Why doesn’t he just go somewhere else? It doesn’t suit him elsewhere. DrWitnesser has already tried YouTube and Facebook after the Twitch ban. However, he does not like the interface for streaming there, he says.
While he has problems with Twitch, he has accused Twitch of being “hypocritical and intolerant”. But apparently, he still prefers the interface of the godless heathens.
How does the streamer behave? DrWitnesser is regularly involved in heated discussions on Twitter. For example, he considers it a “free choice to be gay”.
Even people who identify as Christian seem to find DrWitnesser’s specific orientation confrontational and aggressive. They point out to him that it would be better to emphasize God’s love rather than threaten children with hellfire, but DrWitnesser does not back down in these discussions. Those who criticize him simply do not understand what his faith is really about.
He is sure that he spreads the TRUTH. That cannot possibly be wrong.
At the moment, it seems that DrWitnesser has not yet filed the lawsuit. We’ll see if he finds a law firm to represent his case.
The last lawsuit against Twitch that we reported on at MeinMMO was a bit stranger:
We all have our quirks, even when playing. MeinMMO author Andreas Bertits has to try first whether the game runs with ultra details and puts his graphics card to the test.
That’s why graphics aren’t everything, but still important: Graphics are not everything, but they are part of a game. Even though I grew up with stick figures in the Ultima games and I celebrate titles like Valheim for sparking my imagination again, because it doesn’t rely on high-end graphics, the visuals in modern games are still important to me.
When a new game is released, I basically want to experience it as the developers intended. I just assume that a team doesn’t see the lowest detail level as how their latest work should be experienced.
Valheim may not have high-end graphics, but I still need to crank up the details.
No game launch without cranking up the detail levels
This is my quirk: Before I can even start a game, I always first go to the game menu. There, in the options, I set all graphics settings to ultra, as I want to enjoy the new adventure in full graphical glory.
So when I start The Elder Scrolls Online or Black Desert Online, I first head to the game menu and set all details to the highest possible level.
Now I have to see how the title runs. If the game lags heavily, then my mood drops. It disappoints me if I have to decrease the quality settings to enjoy my new game comfortably. And comfortably means for me simply being able to play with all details set to maximum. Even if the graphics card’s fan is screaming. Then I just turn up the sound or use a headset.
If that doesn’t work, it’s not a disaster, and I still play. However, it annoys me when I can’t play with ultra details. I still have fun because at some point the annoyance fades away, and I don’t think about tweaking the settings here and there to push the graphics a little more.
It’s not that games with moderate or high details look much worse. Ultra means often being able to enjoy some extra effects. Shadows are a bit softer, reflections in the water are more realistic, and the textures up close are more detailed. That’s not something that would significantly enhance the gaming experience.
More from the gray gaming past by Andreas Bertits:
This is where this quirk comes from: In the 1990s, the developer studio Origin set the bar extremely high for graphics and presentation in games. Basically, a new PC was needed for every new game in the Ultima or Wing Commander series.
The first Wing Commander from 1990 used so-called expanded memory. At that time, PCs usually only had 640 KB of RAM and could only manage that without issues. However, those who had more RAM could access this as extended memory (XMS) or expanded memory (EMS), which benefited some games.
In Wing Commander, this led to better graphics. In the cockpits of the spaceships, the pilot’s hand with the joystick and the faces of the wingmen were visible on the display during conversations. Even explosions looked more spectacular, and more debris flew through space when a foe was destroyed.

Wing Commander has ensured that I always need to have graphics details set to maximum (Video by YouTuber FooAtari)
To use EMS in the game, the file EMM386.exe had to be loaded, which only worked on a computer with an Intel 386 CPU – absolute high-end gaming PCs at the beginning of the 1990s.
At that time, I still had the predecessor model, a 286. My friend, on the other hand, was already playing with a 386, and I simply could not enjoy Wing Commander properly because I could not see the pilot’s hand and the faces of the wingmen. I only played the space game when I could switch to a 386.
Somehow, it has become a habit for me to first go into the menu of a game and crank all the graphics options up before I even think about starting to play.
I am particularly looking forward to the role-playing game Crimson Desert, which is currently planned to be released in 2021. The developers at Pearl Abyss have already shown that they can create games with fantastic graphics with Black Desert Online. In my opinion, the first trailer of Crimson Desert looks even better. I simply have to explore this detailed world with ultra graphics settings.
So I already know that I will crank up the graphic details as soon as I start the role-playing game for the first time. My graphics card already feels sorry for me…
A sneaky team has set a nasty trap in Call of Duty: Warzone to take out unsuspecting players. You can find the “blueprint” and the cheerful laughter of the squad as someone falls into the trap here on MeinMMO.
Evolution has given the creatures on our planet countless ways to lure prey into traps. A few players of Call of Duty: Warzone probably thought – “We should learn from this.”
They set an irresistible trap in the “Boneyard” and lured unsuspecting prey into their net, uh, line of fire.
No one can resist the Killstreak trap
What did it look like? There is a clip of the whole action on reddit:

How did they do it? The squad set the trap near a Buy Station. They purchased more than 10 Killstreaks together and brought them into a nearby building. That’s not so easy, as you can’t just drop the Killstreaks.
So they had to always pick one up, take a step towards the house, pick up a second Killstreak, and then make their way to the building piece by piece. In the end, nearly a dozen Killstreaks were lying out in the open and clearly visible at the bottom of the house.
The whole squad then hid in the roof structure of the building – and the good old waiting game began. How long the squad waited for their prey, the thread creator doesn’t reveal. But eventually, an unsuspecting soldier enters the house and receives a few bullets under the loud laughter of the squad.
What do the players say about it? Nearly all comments in the thread about the video are positive. Moreover, the clip has already gathered almost 3,000 upvotes. Users enjoy such videos that show how to have fun with quirky actions in a game:
Keyrov: “That’s genius. Great job, mate. I applaud the creativity.”
FormedBoredom: “That’s exactly what I want to see. People doing silly things and having fun with their game.”
Matty2G: “You are the worst kind of person and I love it. ? If I see a big pile of Killstreaks now, I’m just running away.”
Battle Royales offer many opportunities to outplay your enemies. That’s one of the great appeals of the genre, as each round is different, requires new tactics, and sometimes a few crazy ideas to reach your goal.
The MMORPG Lost Ark is not yet officially playable in Germany, but new clips from Asia make us watch with longing. In it, the new class Striker beats up a whole bunch of enemies at the same time.
This is new in Lost Ark: The MMORPG introduces the class Striker. This is a fighter who beats through enemies with numerous kicks and literally makes them burst.
The new class is, like the entire Lost Ark, not yet officially playable in Germany. However, the first gameplay already gives us a good impression of what we can probably expect in the MMORPG soon.
New class beats over 10 enemies at the same time
This is the gameplay: The video comes from the official Lost Ark channel on YouTube. It shows the Striker in action:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZfZBxYG71c
How does the Striker fight? He resembles a kind of karate fighter who beats the enemies primarily with bare hands and feet.
Especially interesting is that he hits several enemies at once with his combinations. In the video, you can see how he beats up over 10 enemies at a time.
His opponents have few chances, as once they are hit, they are defenseless and can only take more hits.
What does this mean for German fans? Basically, at first nothing, as Lost Ark is not available in Germany. However, it is one of the most promising MMORPGs that is supposed to come to Germany.
The video thus continues to fuel the anticipation for Lost Ark and shows how strong the gameplay looks. Hopefully, it won’t be long until you can play the MMORPG yourself.
Can you already play Lost Ark in Germany? Officially not, but there are ways to access the MMORPG. For example, you can play the Russian version of the MMORPG using a few tricks. Keep in mind, however, that the game will then also be in Russian, and you may not understand a word.
What is Lost Ark anyway? Lost Ark is an action MMORPG by Smilegate. You play from an isometric perspective and the developers compare it to Guild Wars 2 in terms of game content.
In Lost Ark, you face powerful boss enemies or play in your own arena in PvP mode. However, you can also enjoy classic MMORPG elements like housing or participating in guilds.
It is therefore ideally suited for fans of hack and slashes due to the isometric perspective and action-packed gameplay, but also suitable for MMORPG veterans. This mixture makes Lost Ark so interesting. You can find another insight into the MMORPG in our preview report:
Next week, the new Update 29 for The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) will be released. Along with it, the mini-event “Reforged Heroes” will start. This brings you a new, cute pet as a companion and the opportunity to change your build for free.
What kind of event is this? On March 8th at approximately 4:00 PM, the new Update 29 will be released on PC. 8 days later, on March 16th at 3:00 PM, the consoles will follow.
The next patch 9.0.5 of WoW: Shadowlands has a release date. It’s starting next week. We reveal what’s in it.
Players of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands are on pins and needles. Everyone has been waiting for the next “mini-patch” that will bring a handful of balancing changes and finally upgradable loot from “Mythic+.” Now Blizzard has released a release date. It’s starting next week.
When exactly will patch 9.0.5 be released? The update 9.0.5 will be released immediately after maintenance on March 10, 2021, that is, next Wednesday. Due to time differences and various maintenance schedules, it will start in America already on March 9.
What’s in the patch? The patch brings only a little “new” content, aside from a very cool, free mount for everyone. The focus of the patch is primarily to adjust the balancing a bit and bring back Valor Points, which players can use to upgrade their items from dungeons.
When will the next patch come? After patch 9.0.5 has been released, Blizzard will likely soon begin testing the next major patch 9.1 Chains of Domination. This will be the first “real” content update for Shadowlands, featuring a new raid, a new mega dungeon, and plenty of new quests. Given that patch 9.1 is quite extensive, it may take several more months before the update is released.
Hopefully, the small improvements from patch 9.0.5 can keep players entertained until then so that they don’t lose interest.

The lead designer of the new Harry Potter game “Hogwarts Legacy” (PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X) operates a YouTube channel with an ideological orientation. He positions himself for GamerGate and against Anita Sarkeesian. This outrages users online.
Who is it about? Troy Leavitt is the lead designer at Avalanche Software, a studio of Warner Bros. He is currently working on Hogwarts Legacy: This is an action role-playing game with an open world, slated for release in 2022 for PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Xbox Series X. Sony showcased Hogwarts Legacy in the September 2020 big event for PS5.
Leavitt has been in the video game business for 25 years.
What he is accused of: Troy Leavitt runs a YouTube channel under his name. This channel is accused of being “pro GamerGate and anti-feminist.”
The US site Kotaku calls the channel “reactionary.” Kotaku provides examples:
Leavitt has expressed positive views towards GamerGate, a movement blamed for harassing women and minorities in gaming. A quote from him: “GamerGate, even when it was sometimes painful, has proven to be a good thing.”
Leavitt has criticized Anita Sarkeesian: “She represents an ill-informed outsider position.”

The tweet describes Leavitt as “right-wing” on YouTube.
Discussion around Harry Potter extremely charged
This makes the matter delicate: For some people, the “Harry Potter” brand has become difficult due to its author J.K. Rowling. Rowling is accused of having a problem with trans people.
She stated, for example, that if you open women’s restrooms and changing rooms to all men who feel like a woman, then you open the doors to all and any men who want to come in.
These and other statements regarding transsexuality led to a heated controversy around J.K. Rowling. The creators of Hogwarts Legacy have distanced themselves from J.K. Rowling.
Now that Troy Leavitt, another person with controversial views, is working on “Hogwarts Legacy,” it makes the discussion on forums like Resetera or on platforms like Twitter emotionally charged.
This brings up sentences like: “This is a left-right combination with Rowling and this guy. Just bury the project already.”
One even says the project is “cursed.”
GamerGate is a vaguely defined movement that started in 2014. The movement is primarily directed against the entanglement of the gaming industry and the media. However, the movement is accused of advocating an anti-progressive stance and inciting harassment of individuals. It has allegedly led to threats of murder and rape. Anita Sarkeesian critically engages with the role of women in video games: She is seen as a target of GamerGate.
What the affected person says: He is currently not commenting on the issue. However, there is a statement from 2018. There, Leavitt says:
Some of you have said that I would have difficulty finding a job in game development again due to my comments on industry controversies and my sympathy for the GamerGate movement.
I’m happy to inform you: Although I disclosed my YouTube channel to WB Games, it doesn’t seem to be a problem for them. It’s not as if they support what I’ve said, but they seem to care more about making good games than pushing a social justice agenda.

Controversial developer leaves project
Update 5.3.: The developer Troy Leavitt has now announced via Twitter (via twitter) that he is leaving Avalanche Software and Hogwarts Legacy. He does not currently provide exact reasons for his departure but intends to explain them later on his YouTube channel.
About a week earlier, the gaming forum ResetEra had announced that it would be deleting threads about Hogwarts Legacy to make a statement against hypocrisy. This was explicitly aimed at Troy Leavitt and the views of “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling:
In Destiny 2, Bungie has asked you to choose between 2 wacky costumes. You decide who wins the duel between classic movie monsters and dinosaurs and represent the winner at the Festival of the Lost 2021.
This is what you have to decide: Bungie has presented two completely crazy designs for armor, but only one will make it into the game. Since it seems difficult to choose, Guardians are to crown the winner.
Destiny therefore calls for an unusual duel: classic movie monsters vs. dinosaurs.
MeinMMO shows you the two really cool sets for Hunters, Warlocks, and Titans and where you can cast your vote. Afterwards, you will learn how and when you can get the winner in-game.
Team classic movie monsters:
Hunters dress up as Godzilla, the King of Monsters
Warlocks frighten their prey as the creature from the Black Lagoon
Team Dinosaurs:
Hunters roam as swift Velociraptors
Warlocks take on opponents with the horns of a Triceratops
Titans reign as the iconic T-Rex, or Tyrannosaurus
Keep in mind that these are still concept arts.
This is how you vote: Simply follow the link below. You can only participate once and have until March 9, 2021, at the latest. So hurry up.
The link takes you to a survey from surveymonkey.com. You will see both concept arts again and be asked to choose which class your main is. The whole thing takes less than a minute.
Destiny 2 is all about ancient monsters in 2021
This is how you will get the armors: The winning set will be available as universal ornaments in the game for Halloween 2021. You can apply the look on any legendary armor.
They will be available during this year’s Festival of the Lost in the Eververse.
You can purchase them there with in-game earned Glimmer or with Silver (real money currency).
In the past, the price was 6,000 Glimmer or equivalently 1,500 Silver per set.
The spooky event traditionally takes place from early October to early November. However, we do not have more information than the two costumes yet.
Does this even fit Destiny? Such initially “inappropriate” sets have become a staple of the Festival of the Lost event. In previous years, Guardians got to dress up as horror icons, wear neon-colored skeleton onesies, and receive plenty of masks on top:
Then the only question left is: which one will you choose, Dinos or Monsters? Do you love the wacky ideas and can’t wait for the Festival of the Lost to start this year?
Or do such silly festivities not fit the sci-fi shooter at all? Tell us your opinion and what you’re voting for in the comments
Pokémon GO has announced a collaboration with the Pokémon trading card game. A special Pokémon card for the AR game will be available for you to secure.
This has been announced: As part of the 25th anniversary of the trading card game and the 5th anniversary of Pokémon GO, a collaboration will take place.
So you will be able to draw a Pokémon card from Professor Willow in the summer of 2021. The appearance of the card is set to be revealed in May.
Custom Pokémon Card for AR Game
What it means for you: The special Pokémon card from Professor Willow is expected to be released worldwide and available where Pokémon cards are generally found.
This is only the first step of the collaboration. More things are to follow, but there is no specific information on that yet.
Can we expect something in Pokémon GO? Definitely! Niantic has already collaborated multiple times with other Pokémon games. Each collaboration has also had an event in the game that you could take advantage of. This was the case, for example, with Let’s GO, Pikachu/Eevee or the latest Pokémon game Sword & Shield.
So you can expect that there will be an event in Pokémon GO when the exclusive Pokémon card is released. However, this is not confirmed.
What is behind the card hype: In recent weeks, the prices for all Pokémon cards have skyrocketed. The reason for this is numerous streamers who open card packs live. Their viewers are then inspired by the hype and buy the cards themselves.
What else awaits you in Pokémon GO? Before the collaboration with the Pokémon cards is presented in more detail in May, there are still many other events that you can look forward to.
If you are interested in more about Pokémon GO, this might also interest you:
The month of March is full of events. There are raid and spotlight hours, as well as events with new Shinies. Additionally, this weekend awaits the Community Day.
We have created an overview for you that lists all events in March. You can check it regularly so you don’t miss any events and always stay up to date:
PvE players should prepare to spend a lot of time in dungeons with the launch of patch 9.0.5. Because World of Warcraft requires you to catch up on a lot.
The small patch 9.0.5 is a significant improvement for many PvE players. Gear from “Mythic+” dungeons can then be upgraded with Valor points. However, to get them, one must farm a lot. There is again a weekly cap, but at the start, you will receive a substantial “advance.” Those who want to upgrade a lot will also have to farm a lot.
What is Blizzard planning? In fact, there is a weekly increasing cap of 750 Valor points. That means, per week you can only gather 750 Valor points. However, the developers want players to have a bit of lead time with the system and can immediately start upgrading some items, so the cap is set higher from the start.
Already in week 1, you can gather a whopping 5,000 Valor points from “Mythic+” dungeons. This cap then increases by 750 with each passing week. In week 2, you can thus collect a maximum of 5,750, in week 3 it rises to 6,500, and so on.
What you need to pay attention to: With the high caps, one should note that each character can only have a maximum of 1,500 Valor points at the same time. Even if the “general collection cap” is higher, you must first spend some of the 1,500 points to be able to accumulate more Valor points. Players are therefore encouraged to invest their points in upgrades for items as soon as possible.
Valor points are earned for completing “Mythic+” dungeons as well as in small quantities from your covenant’s daily calling quests.
You need to farm a lot of dungeons to earn the Valor points.
What can be upgraded? With Valor points, all loot items that players have earned after the release of patch 9.0.5 in dungeons can be upgraded. Items that players already owned before cannot be upgraded.
However, to upgrade items, certain achievements must be completed. The highest achieved achievement determines how high items can be upgraded. You can find the exact values in this table:
Are there also alternatives to spending? Those who do not want to upgrade items with Valor points can also spend the points at a new vendor. They have various crafting materials, such as cloth, leather, or herbs on offer. This way, all players benefit from the Valor points, even if they can’t make use of the upgrades.
Are you excited about the valor system? Or is this just another grind that you are not interested in?
I will definitely play Outriders – but that doesn’t mean anything
I have already had great fun with the demo of Outriders, and for me, it is clear that I will play it at release. However, I am also someone who can overlook many minor flaws and quirks. Graphics are not a big deal for me; gameplay matters more.
Even with Fallout 76, I was one of the players who were excited about the game from the start – regardless of the many problems and bugs. I am quite resilient in situations like this and can focus on the aspects that I enjoy.
The bugs have only mildly bothered me so far, and the story and classes have convinced me. Enough that the promised 35 hours are sufficient for me to want to invest my money.
This does not mean that I would give a purchase recommendation. For those who do not think like me, I would advise waiting. Especially problematic graphics and inconsistent cutscenes can quickly cause a game to end up in the corner and not be touched again, even if the issues have been fixed later.
I therefore recommend waiting until you are sure that Outriders has now reached your desired state. Since it is not a service game, you will always receive what you currently see – with only potentially future bug fixes and probably DLCs once they are available.

The demo runs indefinitely and can still be played after the release of Outriders. You always have the opportunity to convince yourself of the current state of the game and decide for yourself whether you want to give it a chance.
If you are still unsure and the demo has not yet convinced you, we recommend waiting to purchase. After release, many tests and reviews will appear about Outriders, with which you can get a better picture. Here on MeinMMO, we will continue to provide you with content and information about the game. Also, you should definitely wait if the endgame grind in a loot shooter is important to you. Outriders is supposed to offer about 35 hours of story and then repeatable missions. However, none of that has been seen so far, and we do not know how good they will be.

What do you think of the current state of Outriders?
The demo of the new loot shooter Outriders has been running for some time now and many players are wondering if the game is worth it at all. Theoretically, Outriders should be a finished game, and the demo should “demonstrate” that. However, that doesn’t quite work.
What is Outriders? The new shooter from developer People Can Fly and publisher Square Enix combines features from different genres. Outriders offers loot like in loot shooters and combat from cover shooters. The game is designed for solo players and groups of up to three players in co-op.
Roughly, it can be described as a mix of Gears of War, The Division 2, and Remnant: From the Ashes. It is played in third person with four different classes, all of which serve their own play style with unique abilities.
The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi scenario. After humanity has destroyed Earth, they search for a new home. But even here, a war breaks out, and after an incident and a long cryogenic sleep, the Outriders (players) awaken with new powers and are supposed to ensure order.
Outriders will be released on April 1 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

What kind of demo is this? On February 25, the demo of Outriders started, allowing players to play the first chapter of the demo, all classes, and some side missions. It can be played for free on all platforms.
The demo introduces players to some basic systems. For instance, there are already 10 legendary weapons, group play, and the so-called world tiers, which represent difficulty. However, endgame content is lacking. The demo runs indefinitely and can even be played after the release.
What is the difference between beta and demo? A beta refers to a pre-release state, meaning an unfinished version of a game that is still in development. A demo, short for demonstration, is meant to present a finished product to convince potential customers. Demos show a snippet of something complete, while betas are maturing into a full product.
Technical flaws spoil the gaming experience
Here are the problems: The demo of Outriders launched with several issues. On PlayStation, it couldn’t even be downloaded at launch and has struggled with various technical problems since:
Graphical glitches like clipping capes permeate the game
the frequently found cutscenes are often out of sync with the sound. In particular, the lip synchronization, especially in German, does not work well yet
Cutscenes in the demo are locked at 30 FPS, which is said to change at release – so not everything is complete yet
camera work in cutscenes varies – some players complain about motion sickness
graphics and visuals are not particularly contemporary compared to other modern loot shooters like The Division 2. Outriders resembles a production from around five to ten years ago
standard customization options like disabling motion blur are lacking on PC
What’s wrong with that? Such problems are not unusual for a test. However, Outriders explicitly offers a demo and not a beta test. The game should therefore be presented in its final state.
This, along with the fact that the demo was released just before launch, makes players doubt whether Outriders will actually be ready by April 1 and can resolve all issues.
Another point is that players apparently expected more from the production. With Square Enix behind the developers, some of the issues seem more like ailments that a smaller developer would struggle with.
Seemingly not a AAA title despite Square Enix
Players may have expected more from Outriders than it can currently deliver. Instead of a full-price title with a million-dollar budget, they receive more of an AA title. While this doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad, it’s just not quite what was expected. MeinMMO reader Phoesia summarizes this in his comment:
The game design simply seems antiquated and outdated, the implementation is awkward and unrefined. This runs through every single aspect of the game.
It’s not a flop, but overall far too little to make an impact in 2021. If it were an indie game on Steam for 29 €, one could overlook many corners – but it isn’t.
Maybe it’s worth picking up in a sale, but at full price, I can get significantly better options today, even in this genre.
Not all works published by Square Enix are large productions and successes. Marvel’s Avengers disappointed the publisher even with its revenues. Moreover, Square Enix more frequently acts as a publisher for smaller productions, such as Murdered: Soul Suspect or Wakfu.
Outriders seems to fall more into the latter category, although this does not say anything about its quality. However, some demo players expected more. The technology is not the only problem – the demo itself could have been planned much better.
It is particularly problematic that expectations due to Square Enix as a publisher might be set too high. Square has made a name for itself with high-quality productions like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Dragon Quest. These are some of the most successful franchises of all time.
Final Fantasy is regarded as a masterpiece of gaming, especially Final Fantasy VII.
Square Enix is even known for having coined the term AAA titles. Final Fantasy VII is said to have cost between 40 and 45 million dollars during its development, setting a milestone at the time. The game is considered one of the video games with the highest production costs and was presented with elaborate CGI cutscenes and orchestral music.
At least part of the players has perhaps set themselves up to play a polished AAA title with Outriders, as Square Enix is primarily associated with major titles. However, Square Enix’s major successes are mostly productions from its own house, created by Square itself. Outriders comes from the studio People Can Fly (Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgement).
The demo is more of a beta and not ideal for a preview
This is why the demo is not ideal: In its current state, the demo is more of the beta test that the developers did not want to have. In an interview, the developers emphasized that they wanted to introduce players to the game with the demo:
We try to help players from the very beginning in the game and have tutorials for everything. We guide them slowly through the stages of the game. We don’t throw anyone into the deep end. […]
We also want to teach those who have no experience with this type of game how to play at the beginning, so that no one gets lost in the game. But the more you play, the more you understand what we are doing. We hope that you start experimenting, change builds and play the game properly […]
However, the demo does not go far beyond the tutorial, and important content such as expeditions (endgame), crafting, or talents are missing or very minimally included. Additionally, there has already been a first update that fixes bugs – just like in a beta. So, it seems like Outriders is still not completely finished.
This is what a full talent tree looks like. In the demo, you can only allocate two points.
A demo should present a product and excite potential customers to purchase it. However, the Outriders demo only shows a game that is not fully polished and only the beginning.
Players can indeed play the beginning and dive into the story, but hardly experience what Outriders is supposed to be all about. Most of the planned endgame content for Outriders is missing.
You can distribute the first skill points, but talent trees are so large that the two points do not nearly illustrate what the system will look like later. It lacks the feeling of what Outriders is supposed to become later on. This does not come across.
Why is it called a demo at all? The developers wanted to distance themselves from the idea of a “game as a service”; Outriders was meant to be presented as a finished game. The premise is that Outriders wants to be complete from the beginning.
In an interview with MeinMMO, the developers revealed why they do not want to present Outriders as a service game. The distance from this model might be related to the fact that no connection should be made with two well-known games: Fallout 76 and Anthem.
Fallout 76 also started with high player expectations for the franchise, which were disappointed during the first beta tests. Fans did not receive a beloved single-player title from a major publisher, but rather an unfinished service game that still needed to be developed.
Anthem also had the problem that high-profile teams from BioWare and EA were working on it. Expectations for the game were high, the first trailers looked good, but the first gameplay tests did not. In both cases, a service approach was chosen, where players deliberately did not get to see the full range of content until later.
Outriders does not want to go down these paths and not take the risk of ending up like Anthem. Therefore, the game is supposed to be complete from the very beginning – only the demo does not show this yet.
Should you buy Outriders before its release?
You might consider a purchase if you are already having fun with the demo. Not much of the game is shown yet, but you can expect more content to come – including an endgame grind that is somewhat comparable to Diablo.
Additionally, players will enjoy themselves who can overlook the technical flaws. While it is possible that all bugs will be fixed by release, it is not guaranteed.
You should wait for more information about the release if you easily get frustrated by many cutscenes, graphical errors, and glitches. It is still uncertain whether Outriders can resolve all issues, and until that happens, you should stay away from the release.
Also, you should definitely wait if the endgame grind in a loot shooter is important to you. Outriders is supposed to offer about 35 hours of story and then repeatable missions. However, none of that has been seen so far, and we do not know how good they will be.

What do you think of the current state of Outriders?
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
Typically, players in Call of Duty: Warzone try to go at each other’s throats and survive as the last one standing. However, YouTuber MarleyThirteen gathered a whole lobby to work together on a really massive explosion.
This is MarleyThirteen: The YouTuber is very active in the Warzone and creates loadouts for the weapons in the game. However, he sometimes takes on other projects as well, attempting to push the game to its limits.
For example, he gathered 150 players simultaneously in the stadium or tried to collect all the money in the Warzone as a group. Another project of the YouTuber went in a similar direction: he wanted to create the biggest explosion in the Warzone.
Exploding Car Pile Crashes the Game
The plan was to land in the Warzone with 150 players and get to work. An agreement had been made among themselves – after all, it was about working efficiently together. Kills in the Warzone were not the goal.
Now the mission was to collect as many vehicles as possible and bring them to a central point. At the same time, they should loot money to later request an airstrike. Here’s what it looked like in the video:

Here’s how it went: Unfortunately, one player called for the airstrike too early on the first attempt. The second attempt also failed because the gathered vehicles were parked a bit too recklessly and took some damage. Unfortunately, this also led to premature explosions.
But on the third attempt, everything worked out. The players parked their vehicles with utmost caution, and no one called for a premature airstrike.
With cluster strikes, the players struck – but the fireworks didn’t last long
In the end, a formidable pile of vehicles had accumulated – and it was time for the strike. The rockets hit and began to cause explosions. Anyone who has ever laid waste to entire highways in old GTA games using a line of cars and constant explosions knows what it probably looked like.
Within seconds, not only the vehicles went up in flames, but also, in a sense, the server. An error message popped up, and the fireworks were over.
“We destroyed the game. We actually destroyed the game,” the YouTuber rejoiced at the end. The game apparently couldn’t handle loading so much at once – and simply gave up.
In the comments, players joked: “If he reloads the Warzone, he has the new map,” or “Marley just completed the nuke event early.”
The champion Viego in League of Legends was able to lay waste to pretty much everything due to a bug – with just one hit. Now Riot has stepped in and temporarily disabled the champ.
However, a bug caused Viego to suddenly be significantly overpowered and to win matches virtually single-handedly. Because of this bug, he suddenly had the ability to deal immense damage.
Bug caused Viego to obliterate towers
What kind of bug is this? Players discovered that the item Dark Seal could be exploited with Viego. To trigger the bug, players had to buy the Dark Seal and then transform into an enemy champion they had previously defeated. This works with Viego’s ultimate.
If one died to one of the enemy towers, the bug suddenly granted Viego unlimited AP. Even in patch 11.5, there was an adjustment that stated Viego would not lose stacks of the Dark Seal when transforming into an enemy champ. This is what the bug looked like:

This is what Riot is doing about it: Because it was certainly not intended for Viego to destroy towers with one hit, the champ was temporarily disabled on the live servers.
Some players briefly exploited this effectively in Ranked Solo, which caused a lot of criticism. After the deactivation, the issue should be resolved for now – or at least suspended.
The new loot shooter Outriders is yet to be released, and so far, there is no information on what the content will look like after the release. The boss only says: there will be DLCs, but only if Outriders is well received.
This is what the boss says: In an interview, the Creative Director of Outriders, Bartek Kmita, spoke about the future of Outriders (via CBR.com). He was asked, among other things, about potential DLCs. His answer:
At the moment, it’s up to the players. If they want more, we will gladly create more content. But right now, we’re not thinking about it. We want to deliver the game and see how the players react.
Why are the developers doing it this way? The premise of Outriders has always been that it should be released as a finished game and not as a service game with cut content. Everything that belongs to the game is included at launch.
No content is deliberately withheld to be released later. Some newer productions are already launching with a season pass that includes all upcoming content.
Outriders apparently wants to do it differently and first make the game as good as possible for release. Only then will it be time to think about new content.

What new content is coming? In the interview, Kmita speaks of “more adventures, more stories, more classes [and] other things.” So the announcement isn’t very concrete yet.
But we already know what the endgame content of Outriders looks like and can infer that the new adventures will likely mean more “expeditions.” More story probably means a continuation of the campaign, which is expected to last around 35 hours.
What new class will be introduced is currently up in the air. At launch, Outriders features four classes: Pyromancer, Devastator, Assassin, and Technomancer. Each of these classes is distinctly different from one another—what new class could still expand this quartet remains completely open.
Currently, opinions on Outriders are divided. Some players are enjoying the systems and gameplay, while others are concerned about the technical state and whether it will improve by the release. The demo will remain playable even after the release, allowing interested players to get an impression at any time.

The effects vary from player to player. For weaker players to make sudden price spikes, a lot has to happen or a suitable challenge or SBC must appear. But that is also possible.

Especially the players who have the most performance on the pitch or value in SBCs can bring coins effectively at different times. And here you should catch the right time to sell.
Many players in FIFA 21 wonder when selling players makes the most coins. Trading in Ultimate Team is a science in itself – but there are a few points to orient yourself by.
Why is timing important when selling players? Similar to the stock market, the transfer market in FIFA 21 is dynamic. Players do not have fixed selling prices, but can achieve various prices within a certain range. This means: You can sell a player, for example, for 2,000 coins, but he might fetch more on another day.
One should think carefully about when to sell players
Many players use certain trading methods to increase their coin balance in FUT. You can also find some trading tips in the MeinMMO guide.
This article, however, is about a very specific aspect: When should you sell players to make the most profit?
FIFA 21: Sell or keep players?
This is a question players will often ask themselves when they have just opened a pack with new cards. After all, while you can check the market prices to see how much players are currently selling for, you do not directly know if they were worth double just the day before or if they have the potential to rise further.
To do this, you need to look outside the tools that the game provides. One option is the page futbin, where you can track the price development of players on the transfer market.
Good times to sell players in FIFA 21
It is important to note that not every method and every timing applies to every player card. However, a few mechanisms can be observed with different players.
Sell on Thursday evening: This time is often the best moment to sell players. Why? On the one hand, players receive their rewards from the Weekend League and the rewards from Division Rivals on Thursdays. This means many players have coins that they want to spend.
In addition, many players are now restructuring their teams for the Weekend League. Therefore, strong and meta-relevant players like Marcus Rashford can achieve higher prices on Thursday evenings. You can find comparable cards in the list of the best players under 50,000 coins.
Here is an example of price development from futbin:
Here you can see the price for Marcus Rashford between February 1 and February 8 – two Mondays. He achieved the highest price on the Thursday in between. On PlayStation, Rashford suddenly commanded a high price of 56,000 coins – on the surrounding days only 44,000 and 46,000 coins. And this leads us to the second point.
Hold on Sunday evening/Monday: On these days, you should generally avoid selling your strong players. The Weekend League is over and many players flood the market with cards they no longer need. It’s better to hold onto players until the next Thursday.
What time should I sell? Generally, it is better to put players on the market in the evening rather than in the morning. The reason: On the one hand, players are more active in the evening, and new content is also introduced into the game at that time – such as SBCs.
Monitor SBCs and sell players
Why are SBCs important in trading? There are exceptions to the rule that can earn you a lot of coins if you sell players at the right time. One of these exceptions is SBCs – Squad Building Challenges. Here, players must exchange very specific cards to receive rewards – and suddenly pay more on the transfer market than usual.
For example, you can consider the UCL card of Axel Witsel. It normally costs about 8,700 coins, but between February 15 and 17, it suddenly rose sharply to 13,000 coins. Those are a Tuesday and a Wednesday, making them the right selling time.
Because the real-life Champions League was active, there was a corresponding SBC (via futbin)
The reason: Players needed good UCL cards for SBCs. And if you keep this in mind, you can buy cards low beforehand to sell them high on the market later.
A second example was recently the “Mid/Prime Icon Player Pick” SBC. Here, players needed high-rated cards to exchange for icons. The consequence was that the prices of highly-rated cards exploded.
One such case was the card of Joshua Kimmich, who has a rating of 88 and usually costs between 40,000 and 50,000 coins. But when the SBC came, Kimmich jumped to a full 75,000 coins. Those who sold at that time achieved significantly higher prices.
Thanks to an SBC, Kimmich suddenly became extremely valuable (via futbin)
It is therefore worth keeping an eye on SBCs and aligning your player sales accordingly. Even player SBCs can have an effect: For example, the Ronaldo Flashback SBC led to an increase in player cards that could be well linked with the Portuguese.
Diablo 2 is getting an official remaster with Resurrected, set to be released in 2021. In addition to the already known adjustments to the game, the developers have now announced a highlight for veterans: the transfer of old save files.
Can you continue playing your old save file? Yes, anyone who already owns Diablo 2 and has an old save file can continue playing it with Resurrected. Game Producer Matthew Cederquist revealed this in an interview (via IGN Middle East). He said:
Yes, you can keep your old save files. Back when we were working on [the remaster], we wondered if the old save files would work, so we kind of shoved them in there, and it worked!
So yes, your local single-player save files will be transferred.
Cederquist stated that it doesn’t matter how old the save file is and where you left off. You can continue right from where you stopped and still benefit from the improved graphics.
The Game Producer emphasized that the developers themselves were excited when the save file transfer worked.
This is particularly good news for veterans of the game. They benefit from the fact that Resurrected is a remaster and not a complete remake.
Difference between Remake and Remaster A remaster is technically based on the framework of the original game. It is visually improved and brings some optional quality-of-life features. That’s why save files can also be transferred. A remake, on the other hand, would be a completely newly developed version of the original title.
Resurrected brings many graphical and “Quality of Life” changes
What does Resurrected offer? The remaster of Diablo 2 primarily provides numerous graphical adjustments. New additions include:
Physically based 3D rendering
Dynamic lighting
Overhauled animations
Improved spell effects
Resolutions up to 4K are supported
All cinematics (a total of 27 minutes) have been completely re-recorded
The sounds and soundtrack have been revamped to support Dolby 7.1 surround sound
This screenshot shows the graphical differences between D2 (left) and Resurrected (right).
Gameplay-wise, the old feeling is supposed to be retained. There are some quality-of-life features like automatic gold collection, but these can also be manually disabled. Balance adjustments will also be made.
Are there completely new game contents? No, in Resurrected you will experience the already known Acts 1 to 4 from the original and Act 5 from Lord of Destruction.
