When will Firesong be released? The release of the new area DLC is scheduled for November 1 on PC/Mac and Stadia. For PlayStation and Xbox, it will be released on November 15.
Firesong continues the questline from High Isle and completes the narrative “Legacy of the Bretons“, making it the last DLC for 2022.
In Firesong, you can explore the island of Galen and Y’ffelon. They belong to the Systren archipelago and are located north of High Isle. You will encounter 3 different biomes in the new area.
The prologue quest “The Druid King’s Respite” for Firesong is already available on the live servers. You can find it in the Crown Store under Quests – Prologues. For completing the quest, you will receive an emote as a reward.

Since a 19-year-old Twitch streamer allegedly cheated in a chess game against world champion Magnus Carlson in a very curious way, the chess world has been upside down. Even in the hobby sector, more and more players are complaining about cheaters.
Why is everyone talking about chess right now? As part of a tournament, there was a chess match between the current world champion Magnus Carlson and the 19-year-old Twitch streamer Hans Niemann. Then something happened that many observers are still puzzled by: Grandmaster Magnus Carlson lost the game after 57 moves.
Carlson had previously been undefeated for 53 games, but in this match, he made several mistakes. Carlson, who played with white in this round, found himself forced to resign. Patch Notes for Patch 22.10 on October 4th
New Weapon: The new Cobra DMR is now available. The weapon has a long range and combines this with a high rate of fire. In Battle Royale, you can find it on the ground, in chests, and supply drops, as well as by fishing, looting sharks, and the fruit of a reality seedling.
The regular DMR is now in the vault.
New Chests: The new Holo Chests are new containers in Fortnite that you can unlock. You need a key to open a Holo Chest. As a hologram, the chests show what is inside them before you unlock them. This way, you can be sure to open such a chest when something useful is waiting inside.
There are also exotic Holo Chests that are stocked with exotic items. For this, you need two keys.
Grappler Glove: The grappler glove from Chapter 3 Season 3 is back in Fortnite. The Fortnite team explains how the item works.
Shoot the grappling hook into a hard surface like a cliff, object, or building to start swinging. The first three times you swing, you will get faster; after that, you will reach top speed.

Where are the styles? Under “Bonus Rewards” in the Battle Pass, you can find the Superlevel styles of this season starting October 6th at 15:00 CEST (German Summer Time). So far, there have been bonus styles for this season’s Battle Pass.
How to unlock the bonus styles? Those who make progress beyond level 140 in Chapter 3 Season 4 will unlock the styles Cosmic, Spectral, and Noble for Bytes, Lennox Rose, Paradigm (Reality-659), Bone Cat, and Spider-Gwen.

Boogie bombs have been sent to the vault for competitive and other game modes.
Most one-handed pickaxes like Gumdrop and Sun Smasher were previously equipped by flying into the player’s hand. With v.22.10, there is a new equipping animation.

Bug Fixes:

Downtime started early: Since around 11:00 PM on October 3rd, the Fortnite servers have been offline. This is significantly earlier than the usual downtime for updates, which typically starts only on patch day. Shortly after the sudden downtime, Epic Games announced on Twitter:
“Due to an error, we are starting downtime earlier. Update 22.10 will still be released on October 4th. We will let you know when the downtime is over.”

Originally, the servers were supposed to go offline at 10:00 AM German time (04:00 ET, 08:00 UTC). Matchmaking was supposed to end half an hour earlier.
When can you play again? The servers are usually offline during such maintenance for several hours, and playing is then not possible. The downtime is expected to last between 30 minutes and 2 hours. This has been shown by the updates over the past weeks.

The Gate of Wrath is still considered one of the best quests in World of Warcraft. After the release of Wrath of the Lich King, there were issues completing it in WoW Classic. Blizzard has now implemented a solution.
What kind of quest is it? The Gate of Wrath is an epic quest line in the Dragonblight, an area for players starting at level 71. The quest line takes you throughout the area and sometimes beyond, to dragons, undead, and officers of your faction.
After much preparation, you finally encounter the Lich King Arthas Menethil in Northrend in an epic battle, facing him along with his undead scourge.
The epic cinematic for the Gate of Wrath shows the battle’s proceedings as well as the unexpected ending. Blizzard created this video as the first in-game cinematic overall, which is one of the reasons why the quest line is so iconic today.

What was the problem? After the battle at the Gate of Wrath, the conflict between Horde and Alliance flares up again – to the extent that both factions encounter each other in Undercity. However, Blizzard warned that this step should not be completed.
The assault on Undercity occurs in two instanced versions of Orgrimmar and Undercity. However, the battle itself could not be completed, and players could no longer visit the “normal” versions of the cities.
For Alliance players, this was not a problem, but Horde players lost access to two important cities. However, with a hotfix on October 3rd, the issue has now been resolved.
We tested it: On the night of October 4th, we completed the quest on the Alliance side and were able to claim the rewards without any problems. If issues persist, the NPC Zidormi can take you back to the non-instanced versions of the cities.

Challenging endgame content comes this month
What is the Mystic Abyss Raid? In the new event, you face off against the guardian Mystic. He once had an Ark and worked closely with Vaigrys, the creator of the Guardians. The event itself introduces a new, time-limited Abyss Raid, the “Scale of Harmony”.
The event and thus the raid is accessible from Gearscore 1,302, but normalizes your Gearscore to the same level. Therefore, you must know the boss mechanics and cannot simply overpower him.
For this, a dedicated vendor offers weekly rewards, which you can exchange for Mystic kills. However, what exactly these rewards entail is not yet known.
With Vykas through hell: You need a higher Gearscore for the hellish or “Inferno” difficulty of the Legion Raid Vykas. You may only enter with an item level of 1,460 and experience a true challenge.
Just like with the Inferno Valtan, you will not see how much health the boss has left. You can also expect more damage and other tricks from the new difficulty. You cannot overpower the boss here as you face Vykas with normalized equipment from the Book of Coordination.
As rewards, you can earn exclusive titles, achievements, and structures for your island, allowing you to showcase your skills.
Mystic is a time-limited Abyss raid boss.
What is Achates Trial? Similarly challenging is Achates Trial. It is a guardian raid that is said to be as difficult as the Inferno difficulty of the Legion Raids. Again, there are titles and achievements to win if you succeed in defeating the particularly hard Guardian Raid.
Again, your equipment does not matter. You will be normalized to the level of the Guardian through the Book of Coordination and cannot score with a high Gearscore.
What exact Gearscore you need to face Achates Trial is not yet indicated on the roadmap. However, it is conceivable that you must be in Tier 3.
New classes by the end of the year
Summoner to be released this year: With the Summoner, a subclass of mages, our version of Lost Ark has a rather special history. The class was actually already present in the beta, but was then cut at the last minute before release and replaced with the Sorceress.
In Korea, the Summoner has been in the game since release, which caused confusion regarding the decision. Especially among fans of the class who loved it in the beta.

The swift assassin relies on a dagger, speed, and cunning to outmaneuver her enemies. She uses clones of herself and dark magic while outpacing her foes with sheer speed.
That she is coming this year is surprising because Lost Ark typically adheres to releasing a new class every 2 months. Thus, everyone expected only the Summoner in 2022. The fact that the Reaper is also coming, and even already in November, will certainly please many fans.
New content for endgame veterans
The largest Legion Raid: Brelshaza is the largest and one of the hardest raids in the entire MMORPG Lost Ark. The commander of the Phantom Legion is coming to our version of Lost Ark in December and is expected to shake up the endgame.
She brings the usual loot opportunities, but also a brand new equipment item drops from her, namely the bracelets. They count as accessories and enhance your stats but cannot carry engravings.
You will enter the raid again with two groups, so a total of 8 players. This is customary for Legion Raids, only Kokul-Saydon makes an exception to this. However, it quickly becomes unusual with the size of the raid. While all previous Legion Raids had only 2 or 3 gates, Brelshaza features a total of 6.
The requirements for your Gearscore increase every 2 gates. In normal difficulty, you can enter the first 2 gates at item level 1,490, the next at 1,500, and only at 1,520 for gates 5 and 6.
To prepare for the challenging mechanics, Brelshaza also comes, similar to Kokul-Saydon, with a practice mode at a lower Gearscore. In the “Phantom Astalgia: Déjà Vu”, you can participate starting from Gearscore 1,430. There is less loot, but you can learn the mechanics and prepare.
Brelshaza is truly challenging.
New guardian raid for endgame: The new bracelets are not only available from Brelshaza but also from other content at a similar high item level. In December, a new Guardian Raid of level 6 will also be introduced. You can defeat the Thunder Beast starting at Gearscore 1,490 and form the strongest Guardian Raid in the game from December onwards.
Even more content: In addition to the Guardian and Legion Raid from 1,490, more new content is coming to Arkesia that targets endgame players. There will also be new Chaos Dungeons in Southeast Vern, from which you can also obtain the bracelets.
A new version of the Cube and Boss Rush will also make its way into Lost Ark. All of these will be playable from Gearscore 1,490. Thus, a wide range of new content for true veterans of the MMORPG is coming to Arkesia in December.
New events and skins
New events bring familiar content: In addition to the new Mystic Abyss Raid and the express event mentioned above, things look thin so far. There is still no detailed information available, but it is expected that you will receive new events bringing already familiar mechanics.

Balance and Tripod changes
What changes are coming? In November, the western version of Lost Ark will also receive the Tripod update. Developers Smilegate will significantly alter how Tripods work in T3. It’s not about your normal skill tree, but about the Tripods that are present on your equipment starting from Gearscore 1,302.
A new currency will be introduced, and the Tripod inventory will be reworked. You can already check how it looks in Korea, where the update has been live for some time. A detailed overview of the topic can be found in this reddit post, among others.
Balance changes: A major balance update for our version of Lost Ark is also set to arrive in November. This will affect not just classes but also the set effect of the Hallucinations Relic Set. There will also be changes to the classes.
Mainly affected by the changes are the classes Berserker, Destroyer, Scrapper, Soulfist, Lance Master, Artillerist, Sharpshooter, Arcanist, Gunslinger, and the Machinist. Thus, many gunners are particularly affected.
However, the exact nature of these changes is still unknown. In the past, Amazon has not adhered 100% to the changes of the Korean version, making it difficult to predict here. For now, it seems we just have to wait.

What is a jailbreak anyway? The hack is not an official way. For a so-called “jailbreak,” hackers exploit vulnerabilities in the operating system or hardware to install foreign code. Such attacks usually work until the manufacturer closes the vulnerability.

Complicated jailbreak, installation of software ‘still a long way to go’

What does the announcement mean in concrete terms? As can be read on the Niantic homepage, the prices for in-app purchases, i.e. purchases in your Pokémon GO in-game shop, will increase in the App Store starting October 5, 2022.
Accordingly, areas where Euros are used will be affected, as well as Chile, Egypt, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Sweden, and Vietnam. Thus, German trainers using Pokémon GO on an Apple device will also have to prepare for price increases.
What is the reason for the increase? The rise in costs for in-game shop purchases is not fundamentally related to Niantic. The reason is price adjustments by Apple, which also affect the App Store.
According to a post on Apple’s homepage, these changes have been planned since mid-September and affect not only Pokémon GO but all apps and in-app purchases in their store. It can be read there:

In the reddit community, the price increases are met with mixed reactions from trainers. While some players are happy that they usually don’t buy anything in the in-game shop and therefore won’t suffer any losses from the changes, others find the increases unjustified.
Boxes and passes: Although most players are aware that Niantic is not at fault for this adjustment and is ultimately only the bearer of the message, they are particularly displeased with the change in connection with the current contents of the in-game shop.
Additionally, prices for remote raid passes were already increased a few weeks ago, meaning some trainers are now facing another price hike in quick succession.
What do the items have to do with it? Even though boxes and passes are not directly related to the price increase, as these can be purchased using PokéCoins, some trainers see this as an indirect increase. In the past, they purchased many extra coin packages to get these items.

However, Niantic’s statement on their page has also sparked further discussions in the community. They write (via nianticlabs.com): “This update is due to changes in the price tiers in the App Store. We will also make similar changes on other mobile platforms.”
This suggests to some players that there could soon be price increases for Android users as well. Also, adjustments on a global level are likely not out of the question in the distant future.
According to Niantic: “While we will not take immediate action in response to this change, we will monitor its effects and discuss how we can address the changed conditions on a global scale.”
While Niantic was viewed more as a “messenger” in disseminating information about the current price adjustments for Apple users, some interpret this statement as the developers’ intentions themselves. As can be seen on reddit, the following can be read:

Amazon has announced a release date for the latest update of their MMORPG New World. The major topic among players is the hope for a so-called “Fresh Start”.
What kind of update is this? The upcoming “New World” update is called Brimstone Sands and brings a new zone. The new area is a vast desert reminiscent of ancient Egypt. Within the story, you will also learn that the Roman Empire and the fight against corrupt legionnaires will play a role.

What is a Fresh Start? A so-called “Fresh Start” is a new beginning. These players, who reach the maximum level within a few hours or days, commit to this approach, and in some cases even have helpers specifically for that. However, the thread creator is on a good path:
4-6 hours per level is a good pace for Wrath. It is meant to take a long time. If you have a job and obligations, you won’t be swimming in the “Gogogo” crowd. Just banish that thought. Also, remember that a large portion of the player base is adult, with jobs, families, and things to do. You are far from being the only one with this problem.

FIFA 23: Use the power shot correctly – This is how you score epic goals

Price: approx. 6,300 coins
What makes Werner special: The striker is back in the Bundesliga and is perfect as a forward for starter teams. Werner has the necessary speed and strong finishing stats to provide your team with the needed goals for the first promotions in Division Rivals.
He also has two alternative positions that you can use with the position modifier: In addition to the ST position, Werner can also be deployed as CAM and, recently, as LF.
Araujo

Mikel Merino
Price: approx. 950 coins
What makes Merino special: in the FIFA subreddit and on futbin Mikel Merino’s card is currently being praised. The Spaniard has an 83 rated card with quite balanced stats and can operate in virtually any area of midfield but currently costs under 1,000 coins.

What defines the new, old dragon? The new Chemtech Dragon differs significantly from the old Chemtech Dragon. While the theme of the old dragon wanted to defy death, it is approached with a new method in the preseason. It is meant to evoke the handling of Chemtech from Arcane, the Netflix series of League of Legends.
You gain this improvement upon killing the dragon: It provides your team with a 5% buff for tenacity and healing/shield strength for each kill. The Dragon Soul gives you 10% bonus damage and damage reduction when you are below 50% health.

The Summoner’s Rift is getting a new look with the Chemtech Rift. The Chief Designer of League of Legends stated that they drew inspiration from Zaun and everything will have a toxic touch. However, this will only bring visual changes, except for the plants.
The Blast Cone, for example, will have a significantly greater range and the Seer Bloom will provide you with a movement speed boost. This occurs when you run towards revealed enemies. The Honey Fruit will be filled with health – this leads to it no longer slowing you down and providing a small bonus shield.
LoL is getting a vote for the dragon fight: As part of the changes for the preseason, tools for better communication will also be addressed. Players will receive a wider range of pings. The ping wheel will be expanded by 4 more commands and there will be more votes.
The pings refer to behavior on the lane. “Hold” (stop) and “Push” (push) are commands for handling the minions. While “Hold” means that the minions should not be killed, “Pushing” means the minion wave should be pushed into the opponent’s tower. “Bait” (bait) and “All In” (attack) are commands against the opposing summoner.

The ping wheel will be expanded with two messages. “Vision required” and “Vision cleared” are meant to provide players with more support in communication on the map. What are these new pets? In the roundtable, the developers introduced that traditional Jungle items are being replaced by pets. These pets evolve throughout the game by treats.
You can obtain treats by defeating enemy champions and jungle monsters – or your pets grow over time. Once your pets have grown larger, you receive upgrades for your champion.
