Too little content meets a too high price
What is the criticism? Some Destiny players express criticism on reddit, stating that the event pass is too expensive. The main argument is the comparatively few contents of the pass, which they believe are not worth the price.
The enhanced event card costs 1,000 silver (approximately 10 euros) and is thus just as expensive as a season pass. This is also criticized by the user AmbidextrousWaffle on reddit:
“[…] The event passes are terrible and should not be purchased. These event cards are not worth the price they cost. 10 dollars for a shader, an emote, a sparrow, and a transmat effect. Keep in mind that this is the same price as a whole season. Just save your money!”

What are other players saying? Many players share the opinion of AmbidextrousWaffle, whose post on reddit received 6,700 upvotes within 18 hours (as of October 19, 4:00 PM). In the over 800 comments, statements include:

Silentknyght via reddit: “I’m ashamed to admit that I bought the premium card, but only because I thought it would offer a real event or gameplay. When I found out it was just a cosmetic package, I was so angry.”

Are there other opinions? Besides the critics, there are also a few players in the comments who cannot empathize with the criticism.
A frequently mentioned argument is that these are optional contents, as they are just skins and not features relevant to the event or general progression. This means that no one has to buy the pass if they are not interested in contents like the sparrow or the shaders.
This is clearly stated by reddit user machinehead933, who writes:
It is entirely optional. Eververse has always offered event cosmetics. These event passes are nothing new. They are just Eververse bundles under another name. If you really want to buy cosmetics, it’s a good deal considering what they usually charge for these things.
Although other users with similar statements can also be found in the comments, the criticism of the event outweighs with 6,700 upvotes. Machinehead933 currently has 26 downvotes on their comment, indicating relatively little approval.

With the release of CoD Modern Warfare 2, Twitch is giving you five items on October 28, 2022, including a blueprint for a weapon. We will show you what these items are, how to get them, and how long you have time to do so.
What items can I expect? Since CoD Modern Warfare 2 is soon to be released, Activision wants to give you some gifts in the form of Twitch Drops. In these gifts, you will not only receive your first weapon but also cosmetic goodies that you can use to decorate your account and weapon.

How to get all items for Modern Warfare 2
To receive all the listed items, you first need to link your Twitch and Activision accounts together. Here you can connect your two accounts (via. Activision).
Once you have done that, go to Twitch and select a streamer who has activated Twitch Drops and is streaming “CoD Modern Warfare 2” live.
Now you only need to watch for a maximum of 60 minutes to unlock all items. After that, you should be able to claim your rewards either on Twitch itself or in the game.

How much time do I have for this? According to the Twitter account of Call of Duty itself, the whole action starts on October 28 and ends on November 06. So you still have quite a while until the event takes place. Nevertheless, you should already have your accounts ready, as once the action is over, you will have no more opportunities to get these cosmetic items.

What kind of game is Them’s Fightin’ Herds? It is a 2D fighting game, similar to Super Smash Bros or MultiVersus, but with cartoonish hoofed animals. Among the 7 fighters available, there are a unicorn, a sheep, and a llama.
The design of the animals comes from Lauren Faust, an artist who is also behind the series: “My Little Pony: Friendship.”

Is there a multiplayer? You can play Them’s Fightin’ Herds both offline and online with others. Additionally, there is a story mode full of battles, mini-games, and boss fights. To get to know the basics of combat, the game also offers tutorials and a training mode.
