Normally, such viewership numbers are only achieved in playoff matches. These high viewership figures come from the popularity and public presence of the YouTubers. There is also a team in Germany that was founded by a YouTuber.

At the end of 2021, well-known YouTuber HandofBlood (Maximilian Knabe) founded his own e-sports team. With Eintracht Spandau, HandofBlood aimed not only to shake up the German LoL scene but also to compete in the European Cup. However, this endeavor has not been successful so far.

What’s coming for CoD MW3? A new map, three new multiplayer modes, ranked, and an event are planned:
The new map “Rio” (6v6) is a covered shopping mall in Rio de Janeiro, surrounded by a main street, a tram station, a market, and a café. It is a medium-sized multiplayer map.
3 new modes for multiplayer:
Team Gunfight: In this larger version of Gunfight, you will face off in a 6v6 on standard multiplayer maps. Like traditional Gunfight, you will receive the same random equipment at the start of each round.
Headquarters: In Headquarters, you secure a rotating objective and hold it as long as possible to earn points. Respawns are disabled for the defending team.
Infected: At the start of the game, one player is randomly assigned as infected. The goal of the infected player is to infect all other players.
“The Boys” event: There will be a special version of Kill Confirmed inspired by the series “The Boys.” Special cans will drop that give you a power boost. With the event challenges, you can earn special rewards like calling cards and XP tokens.
Ranked mode: Competitive 4v4 matches with the same settings, maps, and modes as in the Call of Duty League (CDL).
Ranked will be available after you reach at least level 55.
You start at rank 1. The rank represents your ranked career and persists across seasons. To rank up, you must win matches and earn stars.
CoD Warzone & Zombie mode: Season 1 Reloaded – Content
What’s coming for Warzone? In Warzone, there will be a new quest and a Gulag event. Additionally, there will be a new type of extraction and a special weapon case introduced in a special mode.
Champion Quest: The infamous quest with multi-part challenges is coming to Urzikstan. The first step is to win 30 games within a season OR win five games in a row.
Gulag event: A public Gulag event where you fight in the dark with night vision goggles, which turns off the lights in the Gulag.
New extraction – “Covert Exfil”: You can escape from the game early using a covert extraction. There are five exfils per match that can be purchased at a high price in the buy stations. This calls in a helicopter to extract you from the match. There will also be a new leaderboard for covert extractions.
Weapon case: You can fight for a single weapon case at the beginning of each match, which is hidden in a search area. Once you find it, you will be marked for all opponents in the match. If you manage to survive with the case at the end of the match OR leave the match in a covert extraction, you will receive exclusive rewards.
What’s coming for the Zombie mode? A new Warlord is entering the zombie mode – the Dokkaebi from South Korea.
You will find Dokkaebi’s fortress on the roof of a skyscraper in Zaravan City. The tech-savvy warlord uses drones, turrets, and a Wheelson as the main line of defense. Squads that are clever enough to overcome her initial measures will find a slippery opponent equally capable of dodging and attacking.

Which players are particularly suitable for the icon upgrade? The upgrades reflect on all attributes. Therefore, it makes sense to take players from central midfield for the icon upgrade, as they need good all-around stats. They form the link between offense and defense, so they need good skills for defending (physicality, defense), assist in buildup play (passing), but also be dangerous in attack (dribbling, shooting). Additionally, they should bring the necessary speed.
Due to these requirements, we have chosen the following two options:
Steven Gerrard
Steven Gerrard: Gerrard may be the best option regarding the requirements and fits very well into the profile of the upgrades. He embodies everything that makes a midfield all-rounder. This was immediately reflected in the transfer market. He is currently valued at around 200,000 coins, which is double what he was before the release of the new evolutions (via futbin.com).
Sócrates
Sócrates: The Brazilian midfield icon would fit the requirements of the new evolutions perfectly just like Gerrard. He provides even better values for offense compared to the Englishman, but lags significantly behind in defense stats. Another disadvantage is thatSócrates is currently sold out at a price maximum of 240,000 coins (via futbin.com). Getting him could therefore be a real problem. However, if you have the necessary funds and are willing to invest some time, upgrading the Brazilian should definitely be worth it.
Which icons would also work for the evolutions? Many other icons are also in the candidate pool. To be exact, there are 41 legends that have the potential for an upgrade.
Since the icon upgrade already costs 200,000 coins, it would be advisable to take a card that you already have in your club. So check out the evolutions and see if you might already have a suitable icon for the upgrade.

With the Xbox Wireless Headset, Microsoft has introduced the official gaming headset for Xbox and PC. Its design resembles that of Sony’s “Pulse 3D” headset, matching the console: The green-black design fits with the Xbox Series X.
The headset officially costs around 100 euros and has been available in stores for a few months. But is the headset worth it, or are there better options for gaming on PC or Xbox? I took a detailed look at the headset for you.

Design and Build
What is included in the package? The gaming headset comes with a manual and charging cable. The headset can also be connected through an Xbox Wireless Adapter, which is not included. Such an adapter costs around 20 euros.
Construction of the headset: The device features a black design with green accents on the ear cups. The Xbox logo can be seen on the right side. There is no RGB lighting. Various functions are integrated into both ear cups:
If you turn the right ear cup, the sound gets louder or quieter. I find this very intuitive and better than with other manufacturers, where the sound is adjusted with a tiny knob on the headset’s body.
The left side has a fixed microphone. This can be flipped up but cannot be fully retracted or removed. If you turn the left ear cup, you can adjust the volume of either your conversation partners or the game sound. If you fully turn the cup in, you mute your teammates or the game.
Really practical: You can connect the headset simultaneously via Bluetooth and Xbox Wireless. This way you can, for example, answer a call or combine the sound of any app from a phone, tablet, or PC with the sound from your console. However, it is a pity that there is no button on the headset to switch the sound.
Processing
The entire Xbox Wireless Headset is almost entirely made of plastic. The microphone is firmly attached to the headset’s body and cannot be removed. The microphone is also somewhat stiff compared to, for example, the Arctis Nova 7 Wireless.
The headband is made of memory foam in a leather-like appearance, and the ear cushions also use the same material. At least: The ear cushions can be replaced somewhat easily. Third-party options can be found on Amazon. Microsoft itself does not offer this service.
The built-in battery in the headset is fixed and cannot be replaced without disassembling the entire headset. And that is generally not recommended.
Software
The headset can be configured either via PC or Xbox using the “Xbox Accessories” app. However, there is a catch: The “Xbox Accessories” app currently does not support headset connections via Bluetooth. If I want to make adjustments on the PC, I have to connect the headset either via USB cable or via an Xbox Wireless Adapter.
The software for the Xbox Wireless Headset is pleasantly clear and easy to understand. And fully in German.
The software allows for various adjustments. You can adjust the equalizer or configure the microphone mute setting. Also practical: With microphone monitoring, you can control how much of your own voice you hear in the headset.
The software may not be particularly beautiful, but it is functional and clear. Everything can be adjusted with a few clicks. Without ads or other clutter within the software. This is commendable.
Comfort, Weight, and Battery Life
What does my head look like? My head circumference is about 58 cm, so I have a rather small head. The headset fits well and quite snugly and does not slip off during fast movements of the head. However, this has a drawback: After some time, my ears feel noticeably warm under the plastic cushions. This is bearable in winter, but in summer I find it very uncomfortable.
From an ergonomic standpoint, the headset offers limited options to adjust the device to your own head: The headset does not have a dynamic headband like SteelSeries does with its Arctis line. The ear cups also cannot rotate. This annoyed me during the test of Sony’s Pulse 3D Wireless Headset for the PS5, which also offered limited adjustment options and was very rigidly built.
Weight: The Xbox Wireless Headset weighs 315 grams. This makes it slightly heavier than comparable products. The Arctis Nova 3 from SteelSeries with similar features weighs about “only” 253 grams. At around 300 grams, the Xbox headset is more in the good mid-range.
Battery Life: Microsoft states the battery life is approximately 15 hours per charge. I actually achieve this when gaming. After 30 minutes of charging, there is enough power for about 4 hours of gaming. The gaming headset is fully charged after approximately 3 hours. This allows the Xbox Wireless Headset to easily compete with its rivals.
Sound
The sound of the headset is surprisingly good and better than I would have expected from a budget headset. It should be clear to anyone that we are talking about a 100-euro device, so certain weaknesses are forgivable.
Games sound generally good, though sometimes the sound feels a bit confined. The soundstage is also not comparable to an expensive set of headphones. But the headset is mainly aimed at gamers who play on PC or on their Xbox.
What I also noticed negatively: If I turn up the sound on the headset to the max, the sound can get quite rattly and tinny and doesn’t sound really pleasant anymore.
Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic: Optionally, you can use Dolby Atmos or Windows Sonic with the Xbox Wireless Headset: Dolby Access is paid (around 20 euros) and Sonic is free. Both can be used on both PC and Xbox. The downside: Dolby Atmos can only be used if the game explicitly supports it. Currently, there are nearly 30 games available that you can view directly in the Xbox Store. Examples include:

The advantages of Dolby Atmos can be truly impressive depending on the game. The sound is represented spatially or three-dimensionally through Dolby Atmos. This allows you to better discern enemies, which is especially valuable in shooters like Call of Duty or Halo: Infinite.
Microphone
The microphone is decent but cannot compete with better options, such as in the Logitech G Pro X. Due to the wireless connection, the microphone always sounds a bit muffled and cut off. This is mainly because my voice is compressed over the wireless connection. And other players can hear that too. However, this is not an unusual problem for a wireless headset.
If you want to quickly communicate with teammates, the built-in microphone of the Xbox Wireless Headset is definitely sufficient. For extensive conversations or recordings, I would recommend using a different headset or a proper microphone.
Conclusion: Good Headset for Xbox and PC, with Weaknesses in Detail
Who is the headset suitable for? For about 100 euros, you get a good gaming headset that easily connects to your PC or Xbox console. The sound quality is more than adequate for the price, as is the processing.
In terms of ergonomics, you may need to make compromises depending on your head shape. The competition simply offers better options.

What alternatives are there?
The SteelSeries Arctis 3 is a real recommendation if you don’t want to spend more than 100 euros. The wearing comfort is excellent, and the sound is good. The microphone is the weak point of the device. The successor, the Nova Arctis 3, is even more recommendable.
The Razer Kaira Pro remains the strongest competitor to the Xbox Wireless Headset. Overall, for 30 euros more, you get the more rounded product in terms of ergonomics.

In winter 2024, the focus will be on filling the latest expansion “The Corsairs of Umbar” with more content.
For the spring, the team of Lord of the Rings Online has devised time-limited tasks to celebrate the 17th anniversary. The tasks revolve around the machinations of the relatives of coins.
All players who play an Elf may be looking forward to summer. Here there is a graphical update that will refresh the Elf avatars.
In autumn 2024, the big highlight awaits: A new expansion that delivers 4 new zones located east of Umbar Baharbêl. The development team hints at new expanses, a new culture, and a large-scale complex.
Where are the 4K resolution and the Legendary servers? Attentive fans may notice that both the already announced Legendary servers and an upgrade to 4K resolution are missing. Especially the Legendary servers saw a huge influx at the beginning and are extremely popular among players.
Executive Producer Rob Ciccolini had actually hinted that the new 64-bit servers are supposed to be released this year. On the new servers, players are supposed to be “hunted” by something. Additionally, the team has considered opening regional legendary servers for players in Europe.
In the official forum, there are also some users inquiring about the 4K resolution. However, both innovations are not mentioned in the 2024 roadmap.
Why aren’t there as many new contents as in 2023? The development team explains that it wants to greet the new year with respect and humility. In 2023, the team had high goals for keeping the MMORPG alive for a long time.
But Standing Storm Games could only implement the core elements of the 2023 roadmap. The ambitions had been too great in some areas. Therefore, the developers have likely decided to plan somewhat less content in 2024. This ensures that all content announced by the team will be released.
Most people probably know Josh Hutcherson because of his role in The Hunger Games. What is less known is that the actor is also a gamer and spends a large part of his free time on one of the most popular games currently available. This led to Hutcherson missing some of the biggest movies of the last year.
Which actor are we talking about? American Josh Hutcherson has been known worldwide since his appearance in “The Hunger Games”. Before that, he appeared in international productions, for example alongside Brendan Fraser in the movie “Journey to the Center of the Earth”.
Hutcherson appeared as Peeta Mellark in all four films of the Hunger Games series alongside lead actress Jennifer Lawrence. Since the end of the series, he has acted in movies such as “The Disaster Artist” and, most recently, in “The Beekeeper”.

What game does the actor play? Of all the current major games, Josh Hutcherson is particularly fond of one. As he mentioned in an appearance on the live show of actor Joshua Horowitz, he discovered the game not too long ago: “I’m a bit late, but I just discovered Fortnite.”
The host couldn’t help but laugh at this statement and asked whether Hutcherson had ever tried Pac-Man. It seemed he had not.
When Hutcherson was asked about his opinion on some of the biggest movies of the last year, he had to admit that he hadn’t seen many of the blockbusters. The reason for this was Fortnite.

All of these movies Hutcherson has not seen due to his passion for gaming. In the interview, he tries to explain: “I live under a rock. I just stare at walls (in my free time) and play Fortnite.”
How does the Fortnite community react? On X (formerly Twitter), the user “FNaF News Wire” wishes for a collaboration between Fortnite and the actor. Just recently, Zack Snyder expressed interest in an adaptation. Maybe with Josh Hutcherson in a role?

ARAM should remain stress-free and relaxed
In a new AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit, Riot answered some user questions again. One user specifically asked if Riot could add a ranked mode for regular ARAM. Project Lead Eduardo Cortejoso (Riot_Cadmus) responded: Ranked ARAM contradicts the premise of ARAM.
According to their own tests and information, players have explained that they go to ARAM to avoid stress from competition. A ranked queue would mean that Riot would also have to change their approach to the mode, making it automatically more competitive. According to their own surveys, ranked ARAM was received rather negatively.
On the other hand, there is positive mention of ARAM-Clash, where you can participate as a 5-member team in a small tournament irregularly. This mode is less grindy and would be closer to the core idea of ARAM, according to Riot.
The comments on the post also show the different factions regarding ARAM ranked modes. Some players fundamentally like the idea, while others want to stick to classic ARAM.
